Rented e-bikes during our day trip to Sintra and had a great experience! Ricardo was accommodating and even offered us a map, bottled water and a backpack for our ride. We explored many of the main historical sites as well as the national forest. Would definitely recommend Greenwalk Tours for e-bike rentals.
By far the best bike rental in Sintra ! Ricardo knows the Park in every details, there is no caminho he doesn't know. Moreover he is a very nice person who cares about and listen after his customers. The bikes are the very bests e-bike, they have hudge batteries, we did 62km from sintrato Cascais and came back and still had 50% left. You can easily climb anywhere even if you are not used to practice Moutain Bike. Perfect bikes for the Park ! Go for it !
Highly recommend biking Sintra if you want to get a different feel from the rest of the tourists riding buses and tuktuks. You can explore Sintra's forests in a more intimate way. The electric bikes are a lot of fun too. You can really zip around and the hills are easy to climb.
Great experience with Greenwalk. We were given a map, lock, water bottles, backpack, and plenty of advice for our trip. Well maintained mountain bikes were perfect for the on and off road terrain, just be sure to practice hills beforehand if you are going to use the non-electric versions! Total of 32km and 750m elevation for our trip to the coast and back.
Wow! We had a great experience with GreenWalk. The staff was very informative - they helped us choose the best bikes for us and an awesome trail! We took one mountain bike and an electric bike. For both bikes, it cost 55 euros for a full day! Advice for experienced bikers: We traveled from Sintra to Cabo da Roca. It is a tough route! A lot of up hill and on a road (many cars passing you). We completed the route in just under 5 hours. Do not do this if the temperature is over 27 degrees. We are quite experienced bikers, and really loved the challenge of the ride. Beware that the route back to Sintra is the toughest. For inexperienced bikers: I highly recommend the electric bikes. It makes the experience much more enjoyable. The Greenwalk staff can supprt you in finding a shorter route, perhaps to a nearby castles. Overall, the experience was unforgettable! Beautiful scenery! Thanks again to the GreeenWalk staff!
We rented electric bikes here for the whole day and it was a great experience. The bikes were fantastic. Battery allows to forget about hills of Sintra and concentrate on sightseeing. Wide off-road tires were perfectly stable on rainy forest roads. Necessary equipment were provided. Strongly recommend.
We walked in and requested to rent a mountain bike for the day. Ricardo greeted us, talked through the different options, went over the map in detail (with multiple options), and set us up with all the gear we needed (bike, helmet, lights, bike repair kit, pump, spare inner tube, water, a small back pack, map, etc) for two people for the whole day for 40Euros (20per person). We had an amazing bike ride, roughly 50km, to the beach, to Cabo da Roca, and back the other side up the park to Sintra. We passed many of the key monuments and could stop in wherever we chose. Being December, the temperatures were relatively cool, perfect for the hard work of riding up the hills. It was more hilly than we had anticipated (though Ricardo warned us), so while it was awesome going down hills, we got a good cardio workout going up! The roads were relatively quiet and though narrow/windy it was great bike riding.
We had a great experience renting bikes from Joao at Greenwalk. The bikes were great and we took them out to Capo da Roca, up to the Pena Palace, and over to Lisbon. We also at one point found ourselves in a swamp inhabited by several colonies of bees, and became sting-victims several times over, but that wasn't Joao's fault. He told us to avoid the bee-swamp, but what can I say, we were curious. Anyway, biking around the Sintra region is totally the way to go if you're up for some serious hills.

Thanks to Greenwalk we had an amazing MTB tour trough the national park. Ricardo gave us a lot of valuable insights and tips about the park and the trails. The E-MTBs are in great condition! We definitely recommend Greenwalk!
One of the nicest experience is to rent an e bike and explore sintra that way. The bikes are in a very good condition almost new. Had a great day and everything was perfectly fine.
We did the MTB Ebike tour and it was great fun. 50-60km was easy to go, because of the eMTB, also for non experienced bikers. Very nice landscape and a very kind guide Joao, who knew everything about the people and the area. I can just recoomend this tour!
Our tour guide for Sintra was awesome, unfortunately I forgot her name but she new alot about the geography. We did the jeep tour and she would ask us once we got to the site how far we were interested in going. It is alot of hill walking, but that is how most of Europe is. She was able to accommodate us the night before, but just as a fair warning it does take 45 minutes to get to Sintra from Lisboa (Rossio). The views from everything were awesome.

Auf der Suche nach einem Mountainbike wurde uns Greenwalk empfohlen. Dieses mal ließen wir uns auf etwas neues ein und mieteten jeweils ein E-Mtb-Hardtail (17er und 18er Modell von Moondraker). Die bikes waren in Top Zustand und super gut ausgestattet. Auch bei uns waren im Preis Helme, Wasserflaschen, ein Rucksack, Lichter und Multitool inbegriffen. Zudem erhielten wir zu Beginn eine Menge Tourentipps. Wir können Greenwalk Tours wärmstens empfehlen!

Myself and 5 friends went on a Jeep and walking tour with João who was a fantastic guide and incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about the history in Sintra. We went on a half day tour which included a perfect mix of site seeing by Jeep and on foot. We saw some stunning nature and forest along with the famous palaces and a great little gem which was almost ours as there were hardly any other tourists there, the convent. I would thoroughly recommend this tour company and especially João.
If you want a special cycling experience this is the place! Antonio was great from the minute we walk in, giving us instructions for the e bikes, a detailed map, locks, allan key to adjust the seats if required and a small bag pack! We followed his recommended route of around 37 klms and had a super 4 hours of pedalling from Sintra on and off road.
We just had a wonderful experience with Greenwalk. I recommend the jeep tour to everyone. Lidia is a very kind and knowledgeable guide who goes to great lengths to give you a great day. Thank you very much!
Awefull service. We tried to rent a bike and the representative of the company mistreat us. He refuse to rent a non electric bike to us because according to his stardards we were not fit enough.
The owner is one of the most humble persons Ive ever met. He will tell you everything about Sintra and other places to go. We rented the e-bikes and they were amazing! 10/10 would rent here again.
We had a very nice time with the E-mountainbikes in Sintra. They took the time to show the nice bike tracks to us on the map and made sure all bikes were in perfect condition. We recommend!
Uitstekende mountainbikes en zeer goede service. Alle benodigdheden voor onderweg gratis mee gekregen en een uur extra zonder extra kosten. Prachtige omgeving om te fietsen door de bergen en richting het strand.
Fortunato ad averli incontrati... Casualmente mi sono imbattuto nel loro negozio e fin da subito sono stati a mia disposizione. Mi hanno mostrato una scelta tra varie bici. Una volta scelta la mia mi hanno mostrato un tragitto fattibile, in maniera tale da poter vedere più cose possibili, consigliandomi dove fermarmi a visitare o i luoghi che bastava vedere da fuori senza dover pagare biglietti inutilmente. Mi hanno consigliato un percorso nel mezzo della foresta incredibile... Questo è il mio primo viaggio in Portogallo, ma incontrando persone così mi sa che tornerò anche lanno seguente. Rented a bike today, great service. In 5 hours I visited 2 of the monumental sites and also bikes to the beach. Great experience. Very friendly operator who told me about some of the place to go and to avoid. Stuff I may not have found by myself. Highly recommended

After stepping out of the train in Sintra it is just a short walk to this little company. I just wanted to rented a bike and was very pleasantly surprised by the personal attention I was given. Ricardo was extremely helpful with the gear and showed me the best places to go and how to avoid the tourist traps. In short, I had a fantastic day in Sintra (which is beautiful) and would highly recommend this company.

The Greenwalk Jeep tour of Sintra and surrounding areas was fantastic. We went over Christmas break this past December. We were two families with four teenagers, ages 18 through 21. The tour covered not only the historic castles and other historic sites in Sintra, but we went off road a bit in the jeeps and saw some of the beautiful Sintra coast line, and stopped for a delicious fish lunch at a family owned restaurant. The tour guides were both very welcoming, informative and accommodating in all respects. We would highly recommend this tour.
