Nov/24 - Booked/Paid for a compact car online in early October for pickup early November, when I went to pick up my compact car I was given a mid size SUV(Renault Captur), there version of equivalent or similar to a compact car, I personally think they do not have any compact cars for rental as not a one was in the parking lot(BUT you can select one online).... The guy working the front counter was pretty grumpy at 10 in the morning, and when I was presented with the rental agreement in addition to vehicle insurance there was also the 128 Euros rental fee which I explained was already paid by visa online in October, which I had the paper work to prove. It took the guy a while to redo the rental agreement to correct... Return of the rental went a little better, the same guy working the counter must of had his expresso coffee that morning, he wasn't as grumpy as pickup.... Car returned/final paper work reviewed and I was out the door... But wait the story is not over.... A few days later when I checked my bank visa charges I noticed in addition to the rental car charge the was an addition charge for Toll Road fees?? After contacting Hertz and explaining that I did not take the car outside of Albuferia or on any Toll roads, they explained it was a mistake on there side and will reverse the charge... Hertz Rental Car Albufeira - Never Again!
They gave me an already dirty and damaged car. A total scam, and the employees were totally rude!

This rental is easily accessible. The staff were nice. Our pick up was hassle free and professional. However, we had to wait way longer for drop-off. We felt it was understaffed. Overall, recommended.

Rented a car here for 6 days while we was on holiday in Albufeira. We booked from the UK. We was greeted by Miguel. He was very professional and dealt with our booking immediately, checked through the car with us and off we went, all within 10 minutes. NO hard sales of extras of any kind. The car was almost brand new with only a couple thousand km on it. Dropping the car off was simple again, he checked through the car and released our deposit (which took a day to un-pend) and off we went all within about 5 or 6 minutes. Obrigado Miguel was a pleasure, will definitely book through you again when we return...
An efficient and very pleasant experience and this being my first car rental in Europe. Hertz’s Miguel was courteous, knowledgeable and super efficient. He answered all questions without hesitation or reference. The car was perfect and he asked if I would mind taking an automatic at no extra cost. Awesome from start to finish.
Bad service. On the thrifty website we found an automatic car, but couldn't book it, cause it said that no excess insurance can be provided/sold only at the counter. So we went there to hear that there are no automatic cars at all and if we sold book one online they sold just substitute it for a manual. They can't deliver what they sell online. Stay away from this place. Do yourself a favor.
Difficult to find
Non so per quale motivo mi son rivolto a loro, 2 giorni con una macchina semplicissima, 200 euro, (qualche giorno dopo l ho presa da Europcar e l ho pagata 37 euro per 3 giorni!!!!!!!!), il ragazzo mi aveva assicurato che in 2 giorni avrei ricevuto il mio deposito, son passati 6 giorni, e ancora non vedo nulla. al call center mi han detto 10 giorni, siete degli operatori pessimi, dite false informazioni per tutelarvi, quando basterebbe essere sinceri. pessimi.
Auto pagata 150 per 2 giorni che poi si è rivelato 1 giorno e qualche ora siccome il giorno in cui dovevamo riconsegnarla era chiuso e dopo aver pagato ci hanno detto di riportarla la sera prima, hanno detto che il rimborso della cauzione di 80 ci sarebbe arrivato dopo 1/2 giorni, sono passati 5 giorni e ancora niente, chiamando ci hanno detto che ci vogliono 10 giorni. Heb hier een auto besteld voor de volgende dag a .97. Kantoortijd 8:30 was niemand aanwezig. Gewacht tot 9:10 en weg gegaan. Hij had mijn telf. nr maar niets meer van gehoord. Zo gaat men met klanten om.
Atendimento terrível. Pedimos para esperar 5 minutos pois o transporte da seguradora( Tranquilidade ) nunca apareceu e tivemos de ser nos a tratar de nos deslocar até a hertz. Começamos a tratar de arranjar transporte as 9:00 disseram que nos iam arranjar um táxi e iriam entrar em contacto, nunca entraram em contacto só soubemos que os táxis tinham recusado o transporte quando voltamos a contactar a seguradora. Estamos completamente carregados de malas e não queríamos atrasar a viagem de volta mais rápida horas. Ligamos para a hertz a avisar da situação e que estávamos mesmo a chegar. Chegamos às 13:05 depois de ter contactado o empregado, este já tinha fechado a porta e encerrou o estabelecimento. á ido embora.

Trato del personal muy amable, hablan varios idiomas y dan instrucciones muy detalladas sobre el uso y detalles del coche. El coche era nuevo, muy comodo y útil. A diferencia de la mayoría de agencias de alquiler de coches que vimos, ésta no exige fianza o franquicia. Relación calidad precio muy buena.

Prima autoverhuur bedrijf. Eigenlijk niets over te klagen. Goedkoopste auto was niet in de verhuur. Fiat 500 kostte 112euro voor 24uur. Best wel prijzig, echter was nog 1 van de goedkoopste vergeleken met anderen
À fuir de toute urgence. Je n ai même pas les mots pour décrire l expérience mais surtout je ne sais même pas par où commencer. Une déception totale et une façon de traiter les touristes très limite. Je vais énumérer les points essentiels : Nous avons été prélevé deux fois, ça peut arriver, après une longue discussion ils ont compris leur erreur et nous ont remboursé mais ça a été compliqué. Nous sommes prélevé de l essence or nous avons rendu la voiture avec le plein Nous sommes prélevé d une somme en plus qui ne correspond à rien, sans détails, sans explications. On appel, on envoie des mails nous restons sans réponse. Une honte, nous allons pas en rester la. ____ Après un message de leur part sous mon avis qui me demande de les contacter, je n ai toujours pas de réponse. De plus ils nous ont prélevé de 60 d essence alors que nous avons rendu la voiture avec l essence, nous avons été débité de somme astronomique.
Via internet hier terecht gekomen, snelle service en geen gedoe. Extra verzekering aangeboden gekregen en hiervoor zonder enig weerwoord bedankt. 3 dagen een Renault Captur gehuurd voor 120 euro.

Pior empresa de aluguel de veículos, péssimos funcionários, descaso total com o cliente. Fui enganado na reserva e não devolveram o dinheiro. Um lixo de empresa.

Une pure arnaque !! On vous fait payer une assurance qui nétait pas présentée sur le site internet, la franchise été plus élevé quindique sur le site donc on a du prendre une assurance très cher a la journée (28 /jour). On a demandé une voiture diesel et on a eus une essence !! Aucune sympathie pour le client, car au retour nous étions pressé et avions un bus a prendre... il nous fait attendre 20min pour que je lui donne les clés, lui montre où elle est garée et pas de signature !! Franchement pour une premiere location ça ma refroidi !! Plus jamais !!!!!
Soweit alles unkomplizierte und schnelle Abwicklung nur das Englisch des Mitarbeiters (mit Maske) nicht so leicht zu verstehen.
Allerlei extra kosten, walgelijk de manier waarop de medewerker echt letterlijk voor alles een prijs maakte! Beschadigingen aan de auto zijn niet correct ingevoerd, ik moet straks weer terug! Dit is te bizar hoe er met klanten wordt omgegaan, Chapeau Hertz wees er trots op!

The prices you get when you book online regarding insurance and extras are totally different to when you get there. Also very bad service, the guy who works there are not there during the open times. Had to call for him to arrive.

Worst car hire company ever by miles, 55,000 kms guess with original front tyres which were not legal, returned car after 6 weeks and informed they expected it to have gone through car wash, hired hundreds of cars throughout the world and thats a first, rude and objectionable staff, took 1 1/2 hours to return car with only one other customer in front; hired here for a number of years but never again.

Bad trickery with the own risk of 1500. You have to pay a whopping additional 28 per day to fully cover yourself. Look out for better deals

Excellent and speedy service. Competent and friendly Staff. No complaints about the carpark either. Recommended if you need a rental, and I would suggest you get one for a couple of days at least. Allows one a bit of leeway.

Wat een sjagerijnige vent, die denkt dat je achterlijk bent en als je niets meer wilt dan wat je gehuurd hebt, dan wordt het alleen maar erger. Laat je lang wachten op de auto, terwijl die al vuil klaar stond. Hier kom ik zeker nooit meer terug, moet wel zeggen toen ik de auto inleverde die waren wel vriendelijk.

We hired a 9 seater, customer service excellent. We also requested a child seat, we were told to pop and collect one from the young man outside, they had a selection, not up to same standard as home, however we selected one fitted it in car and realised that the catch was broken, if we had been in crash our grandson could potentially have suffered serious injuries, we went back to explain this and the young man put it back on shelf, we explained the dangers etc, but he was clearly not bothered, plus there were 2 othervcolkeagues standing outside and found this amusing.im totally appalled at their attitude to health and safety,we selected another seat and left, when returning it week later the broken one was still on shelf, I really need you to address this and talk to the colleagues concerned.

ACHTUNG!!! Ca. 7!! Kratzer und Dellen unterschlagen. WARNLEUCHTE INSPEKTION Injektion schon bei Übergabe! (Ursprünglich eingetragener Mangel war nur Beule am Nummernschild :D ) Über 1550 ! Kaution, was selten Kreditkarten bereitstellen oder Zusatzversicherung 20 /Tag. Aus 65 billiger-mietwagen.de wurden 118 Extra (also insgesamt 183 )... Mitarbeiter aber sehr freundlich. Auto Renault Captur war gut. Mal schauen was noch kommt?!? Attention! Extra insurance!! 20 /Day. Scratches before the start. Check it and get them marked in their tablet. Warning lamp(injection problem) at the beginning. Car was fine in the end.
