I strictly DO NOT RECOMMEND it!!! There are a lot of bad reviews and now I understand that there really are problems with this company. For toll roads they said that they would remove the deposit, but in fact they said that I was already a fraudster who did not want to pay for toll roads. I don’t know how to solve this now, being in another country.

Paid for a three week car rental through Expedia - from the 30th September until today, the 19th October. Bearing mind it is a peak time - I played around with the dates to find a better deal and opted for a manual compact SUV for €271. Very reasonable! Upon check in, two ladies were infront and they were charged last minute for a Fiat convertible (little did they know it would be raining the next day..) for a 1 or 2 day rental at €160. I found this price to be quite high but again, they didn’t pre book. For my booking, it turned out that there weren’t many cars available at all, so, I was given a Peugeot 308 GT automatic. I didn’t take out the optional extra insurance for no other reason than I was in a very safe area as well as being a safe driver. Having read some previous reviews on here, it worried me a lot that maybe I might be charged for even a simple scratch that could have been missed upon inspection of the car. So, I had done a recorded video of the car before leaving. Anyway, 3 weeks later and I’ve taken the car back which was very easy and straightforward. The check out guy was thorough as he should be, and all was fine - since the car was well taken care of anyway :) he had done a great job and was very welcoming and kind. Overall, great place, very friendly workers. The first man on the desk to check me in for the car, unfortunately I can’t remember his name, but he was very nice, and wore a nice gold plated watch - the system was running slow and so we had to redo the check in process but I could tell he enjoyed his job and deserves a raise Sixt :) very welcoming and efficient. I will be returning as I need another rental and so won’t hesitate to come back. Thank you :)
The experience could not have been better. We hired a 9 seater mini bus and saved nearly €100 over other hire companies. Breno and Jaoquim who handled the check-in and handover could not have been nicer or more helpful. I didnt catch the name if the guy we returned it to but he was just as friendly. If they are representative of the staff that Sixt employ then I will certainly use them again.
I gave the highest rating because the entire process, from reception, explanation of conditions, car inspection, to the return of the vehicle, went smoothly. Everything was well explained and accompanied. The entire team was super polite and cordial, qualities that are hard to find these days. From Diana at the counter, to the guy with the braids whose name I forgot, to André who received the vehicle. The whole team is 5 stars. I will certainly recommend the service and will use it again in the future.
We were recommended sixt by a friend, but after seeing some of these negative reviews we will admit we were a little anxious. Pick up went fine, the lady in the Lisbon centre was super friendly and gave us some great coffee recommendations. The car was very tidy, very fuel efficient and a pleasure to drive. Once we dropped our car off, we were helped straight away by Andre and Diana who had it all sorted for us within the hour with no issues whatsoever. Maybe the people in these reviews didn’t look after their cars!
Surprised by many positive reviews, I found my experience with SIXT Albufeira stressful and unpleasant. Despite purchasing the "Minimum excess" insurance online, on pick up I was told that it didn't cover wheels, tires, and interior, which was only available for an additional fee. Why not making it clear and/or available online? After I paid the rental + insurances + deposit, the system crashed and neither my payment returned nor my rental was paid for. Staff member Juan insisted I pay again, leading to double charges on my card for everything. I only got the refund for the unsuccessful payment after 30 days and several contacts with my bank. After that we were given a car with an excessively dirty interior. The passenger seat and door were soiled. And Bruno, the staff member, made his best to prevent us from seeing it - he put the car in the darkest part of the parking lot and pretended not to understand our request to put it under the light for inspection. We had to refuse taking this car as it was too dirty to sit in and after some unpleasant arguments with the staff we were given another, a nice and clean one. At drop-off Marcio, another staff member, told me rather rudely "Who told you the drop-off is here? Move it to the lower level!" Then he asked me to put the car on the brightest spot on the parking lot and wondered if I had full insurance. I confirmed and then he suggested that it was not theirs, but from some third party. I told him that it was from SIXT for sure and then he asked me to prove it with papers as if he didn't have this information in his tablet. It was very disrespectful and rude - forcing me to prove it to him when he obviously had this information. The inspection on return was really thorough - Marcio inspected everything and for some reason marked that both exterior and interior were "averagely soiled", though in fact they weren't as I washed the car before returning it. Overall, the experience was marked by system errors, unclean vehicles, and poor customer service. I do not recommend SIXT in Albufeira; it was my worst car rental experience to date.

Após entregar uma carrinha alugada, a sixt acusou-nos de danos no carro que já existiam quando o levantámos, vergonhosa a maneira deles para extorquir dinheiro. Não recomedo. Edição: Primeiramente a rent a car acusou-nos que o carro tinha amolgadelas, agora enviaram o orçamento dos supostos danos e não fala em amolgadelas nenhumas e menciona a substituição de um pneu que nunca tinham referido estar danificado, porque não estava. Uma vergonha, até se esqueceram da acusação falsa que fizeram para extorquir dinheiro e inventaram uma nova.

Agentur akzeptiert auch Girokarten. Agentur befindet sich im zweiten Untergeschoss. Zwei unterschiedliche Rolltreppen! Am besten morgens kommen da keine Stoßzeit. Agentur befindet sich unter dem Einkaufszentrum.

Dont hire from Sixt. I returned the car in perfect condition, but upon my return back home, they started emailing, saying I had returned the car with a damaged wheel. I had taken photos and a video of the car when i had dropped it back as they did not inspect it upon return. I sent the photos and video as proof that it was returned in perfect condition. After some back and forth, they basically implied I was lying and i had manipulated or photoshopped the photos and video i sent them. They then took money from my account which I eventually got my bank to reverse. This company goes beyond having just customer service issues, they have no morals. Seriously avoid them.
Wir haben uns für die Fahrzeugkaterogie Nissan Qashqai entschieden. Bekommen haben wir, mit den Nissan vergleichbar, einen Renault Kadjar. Bei der Fahrzeugabholung ist der Mitarbeiter auf alle Punkte im Vertrag eingegangen und hat uns über Zusatzleistungen wie die elektronische Maut informiert. Bei der Fahrzeugübergabe hat der Mitarbeiter sich Zeit genommen und ist mit uns sämtliche Mängel und Beschädigungen durchgegangen. Zwei kleinere Mängel auf dem Dach wurden anstandslos ins Protokoll mit aufgenommen. Das Auto selbst hat sich einen guten uns sehr sauberen Zustand befunden. Aufgrund unserer positiven Erfahrung können wir SIXT in Albufeira absolut empfehlen. Das nächste Fahrzeug werden wir wieder über SIXT anmieten.
Aluguei uma viatura comercial nova, com 74 km apenas! Os colaboradores foram atenciosos, rápidos e eficazes em todo o processo. O aluguer, por 24 horas, custou-me menos de 25 ! Super recomendo e se necessitar, seguramente voltarei a utilizar o serviço da Sixt.

Une arnaque tout simplement. Faites le tour de toutes les rayures et poques avant de prendre la voiture même si cela prend une heure complète et ne faites surtout pas confiance à la personne qui vous dis que tout est noté. Un poque présent au départ a été retenu sur la caution et ce pour un montant exhorbitant. Faites attention !
The lady at the reception was not friendly at all. She had a horrible attitude from the moment we entered she greeted us with sarcasm and attitude. Every time we asked for a normal question she would reply with sarcasm and irony. Ofcourse has nothing to do with the car we rented but just as a customer service this was a horrible first impression to your paying customers. She really needs a training on common kindness and politeness
this is a professional company, they provide good service with nice staffs,and they only require a small about of debit compared to other car rentals, I just like this company a lot, would definitely recommend to my friends
Hatten uns spontan entschieden ein Auto für einen Tag zu mieten. Ging alles Problemlos und schnell. Wurde ein ziemlich neuer Fiat 500 mit ca. 3500km, passte perfekt für eine kurze Ausfahrt. Das ganze hat uns 72 gekostet. Sind rundum zufrieden!

BEAWARE!!! This company is a SCAM. They make you sign all these agreements beforehand. Upon returning the car, they said that there was damage on the bumper caused by us when we took really good care of the car. See attached pictures. Something that a person before could have done, even though we took a video before hand. Upon asking if they have any videos or proof that this tiny bump wasnt there, they did not provide any proof of the car. They insisted that each car gets inspected by their worker. The little bump caused us another 110 euros even with the rental + insurance and deposit we payed. On top of that their customer service was poor, we tried calling and no one would pick up. We were contacting them through email. The car that we used for 3.5 days caused us 800 canadian dollars. Worst to date car rental company who want nothing but your money.
Do not rent here! There s plenty of other places in the area. We had rented the car for our wedding and put less than 10 miles on it but they magically found a scratch on the roof. When we picked up the car the attendant showed us him skipping through the process of him showing us the car being in good condition, how convenient. And now they charged us 500+. Go elsewhere.
Wir haben beim Check 24 für 3 Tage Ein SUV bestellt für 66,00 mit Vollkasko 300 ,00 Selbstbeteiligung. Beim Wagen Abholen hatten wir suchen müssen.Der Uber Fahrer hat uns nicht vor der Adresse raus gelassen ,nach mehrere Fragen konnte ein Taxifahrer uns erklären dass der Sixt Filiale unter der Einkaufszentrum befindet ,wo man von außen gar nicht erkennen kann. In minus 2 Stockwerk befindet sich der Sixt Filiale und das Auto haben wir in minus 5 Stockwerk geholt. Alles Top der Wagen hatte wenig Kilometer und keine Vorschaden. Voll -Voll war nicht optimal der Vorgänger hatte nicht ganz Vollgetankt,man konnte aber nicht sehen, bis man nach gefahrene Kilometer Zahl berechnet hat was der Wagen verbraucht hat. Auf jeden Fall ein Foto oder Video machen vor und nach mieten .

Location pour une journée dun Nissan Qashqai, nous avons eu une équivalence avec un Seat Ateca finition FR. Donc rien à dire sur ce point. Check in de départ complet, avec liste des dégradations avant départ clairement écrites. Et check out parfait du fait que le check in était bien fait.

I returned my car to albufeira Sixt car rental 1 extremely difficult to find! 2 was greeted by rude customer service people 3 I m extremely diligent with car rentals and treat them as my own car . 4 I washed the car in and out as to avoid extra charges and also vacuumed the interior 5 I was told there was a small indent in the car door where it meets the frame of the car 6 the rude attendant then brought over a plastic measuring tool then insisted that it was over three centimetres so I pointed it out that it was less than one and used a fine cent piece for scale 7 he then changed the scope of the conversation and said the whole door gap was wider than it should be. I took him around the car and pointed it out that s how the whole car was manufactured and used his own scale to prove it ! So he then went back to his initial claim. Again I used the 5 cent piece to prove to him it was less than a centimetre ! The conversation went back and fourth and told me I should be more responsible and a bunch of other insults ! I told him I wasn t paying for anything since the mark superficial ! He laughed and said we have your credit card info so fight it out in court ! I was livid ! All in all it was a horrible experience and I contacted a lawyer just to find out that it would cost me double to recoup my 500 charge . The lawyer told me to be careful who I use for rental and that some companies are famous for charging this as it s not in the customers best interest to pursue this course ! After this experience I shared it will all the Facebook groups that I am a part of in the algarve and was shocked by the response ! Almost all that I shared this with had some similar or knew someone that had this experience with this company ! In closing I would like to say that where I picked the car up was a different story and the people were nice . Beware of this practice ! I now rent from Masterkings and treated with respect and an amazing people skills !
Our skepticism based on the reviews was completely unfounded. We took delivery of a car in perfect, almost factory-new condition. All the employees were very friendly and accommodating. There were no problems with the return either. Everything fine. Highly recommended.

All good, yet location is hidden within a hotel and could be marked more visibly :) Other than that staff was nice. It s though always better to take picture of the damages already in place, to have sufficient evidence (aside the listed protocol in the beginning).

NEVER rent a car through this company! It is a SCAM. We paid for full insurance only to be told 2 weeks after our rental that we mysteriously lost the boot compartment cover ALONG with leaving the car empty! Funny I had a photo showing it was full? They tell you that you re fully covered and then charge you for internal damages that didn t occur. Would never ever recommend this company to anyone!!!!
We booked a Fiat 500, but when we arrived, the only one was washing, so we had an upgrade, which was amazing! The staff were super nice and clear about the rules and the whole process. Truly recommend!

Bijzonder goed geholpen. Mooie comfortabele volkswagen Troc mee gekregen die erg fijn reed en weer ingeleverd op de luchthaven. De locatie in Albufeira is alleen verhuist naar een ander hotel en dat staat niet goed op de site,het zit niet meer in hotel Luna Solagua. Op de luchthaven was het erg gemakkelijk te vinden en we zijn erg tevreden over dit bedrijf..echt een aanrader

As soon as we read the bad reviews, we were worried and well, had every right to be because they are trying to scam us too (probably because we didnt buy their insurance). They will do ANYTHING to make money. We turned our car in in PERFECT condition and they came back trying to say there were multiple new scratches (seems to be a trend based on other reviews - funny how new scratches magically appear on 25% of their rentals). Luckily we took videos because we had a feeling this would happen based on bad reviews but theyre still trying to say we did it and charge us 400+ euros. Avoid this company at all cost and if you already rented from them, make sure you take photos/videos and document everything because they employ low quality people and brainwash their employees to do anything to make money.
where do I start... when we booked a car here we had not read the reviews. After reading the reviews we immediately had enormous regrets. unfortunately we couldnt cancel it because that costs a huge amount. BUT we came and there stood Mario. a very nice man who spoke to us well. clear explanation and very sympathetic. There was nothing noticeable about the car and we had wonderful rides with it. I brought the car back with a knot in my stomach, but even then there was nothing wrong. it was checked and nothing was found. After 2 days I received the deposit back (quite quickly) and nothing else was deducted from my card. my experience was good. we enjoyed the car and the good service. Arnaque en bande organisée. On cache et on maquille les dommages de la voiture ,on refuse de faire le tour de vérification au check-in en prétextant que la voiture et neuve et le jour de la restitution, on vous signale le dommage qui existait déjà avant. Une honte ! Même si jai pris une assurance externe et que je serai remboursé je tiens à dénoncer leur pratique.

Hallo, können die negativen Rezensionen nicht nachvollziehen. Das Personal war sehr kompetent und hat alle wichtigen Dinge, wenn auch nur auf Englisch, erklärt. Des Weiteren waren wir erstaunt, das wir uns aus der vorab gebuchten Fahrzeugklasse insgesamt 1 von 5 Fahrzeugen auswählen. Vorallem herauszuheben war und ist Marcio, ein netter und sehr hilfsbereiter Mitarbeiter, der uns mit seinem Tip bei der Übernahme ein Video über und um das Auto zudrehen sehr damit geholfen hat die Rückgabe zu vereinfachen.
Suivant un nombre important de mauvais avis, nous étions un peu fébrile à louer une voiture à cet endroit mais nous avons quand même décidé de le faire. La livraison autant que le retour du véhicule a été impeccable. Le service est super, ils ont même essayer de nous parler en français ce qui a été bien apprécié. Le staff est très courtois et très professionnels. La voiture était pratiquement neuve et donc super propre. Nous avons tout de même pris la grosse assurance (environ 20 euros par jours) supplémentaires pour avoir la tête en paix et on ne regrette pas. Je recommande fortement cette entreprise.
extras proberen te verkopen terwijl je online alles al hebt geregeld, maakt het toch altijd een mindere ervaring bij het ophalen van een auto. Inleveren ging soepel en borg was na 1 dag terug. Maar de stress die het geeft van extra verzekeringen, of upgraden te proberen te verkopen maakt het toch minder. Dit ligt meer bij het bedrijf Sixt dan het personeel, hun zullen er wel provisie over krijgen.
We should have read the reviews...our bad. We rent cars all the time and NEVER have a problem. We are very careful. We looked over the car, it had tons of damage and they said everything was documented. We thought we were thorough during the check out process...well they found damage UNDER the car!! DO NOT RENT from this place!!! That seems to be how they make money. They charge everyone who rents the car 100s of euros, never fix anything, and charge the next rental.
I pre-ordered a car via Experdia Canada but everything was very smooth when picking up the vehicle in Albufeira. We had a little glitch finding it with the new locaiton but it was the Bolt Driver who messed up. **Its in the bottom lvel of the Mall. Service was good. No extra charges. We had a little moment where a dirt mark needed to be wiped off as they looked to charge me but nothing that was not easily resolved. Service was friendly and effcient.

Excellent service from Luana and Bruno in the office, no pressure to buy unneeded extras, quick check-in and great car. A bit tricky to find from just the address. The entrance is from INSIDE the mall... find the escalator (not the elevator) with the big SIXT sign and take ìt downstairs.
Sixt Albufeira - Rude customer service. Returned the car in perfect condition. Was told there was a 5.5cm scratch (almost invisible) on the plastic UNDER the number plate. Got charged EURO-160 for this plus 35 EURO admin charge. Obviously a dis-ingenious, dishonest organisation, who feels if you have not taken their extra insurance to reduce excess then they will get it another way. Please avoid.
Dont rent a car from Sixt in Albufeira or Portugal in general. You might get a car in very bad condition (my case) and as you might read here on other reviews, they tend to find damages on cars that are rented from people who didnt take insurance from Sixt (but might have purchased it somewhere else). Dont believe me? 89% of the reviews on a biggest review website for Sixt Portugal are 1 star. The parent company of Sixt in Portugal - Japrac, Rent A Car - Aluguer de Automóveis Lda has a rating of 1.7 on Google. If you are just planning to rent a car, I have prepared a thorough pre-rental inspection list of the things anyone should take a photo of (and not video). This list, together with my personal experience when renting a car from Sixt in Portugal, I have shared on albufeiracar.rent In short about my experience: the first car they gave me, was already with a damaged wheel (or other part). Exchanged that, and the next one they gave me had 17 pre-existing damages, including dented doors. On return of the car, they of course discovered a new dent for which they took money from me (I dont believe that it will be used to repair the car, because why would they care to do it). And the name of the employee under the signature on the rental return report didnt match the actual employees name (Sixt also confirmed that, by showing the screenshot from their system where it was one name, but a different name on this signed report). If you already have rented a car from Sixt in Albufeira, and you did have a bad experience and you think they didnt do something right, a review on Google is the least thing you can do. Remember that there is the Better Business Bureau (ASAE) in Portugal and other organizations dealing with consumer rights. While my experience with Sixt in Albufeira was terrible and I wont ever rent from them again (at least while it will be still owned by the same parent company), I would like to express my gratitude to Sixt - you made me realize how broken is the process of renting the car and that most of the people dont know how to do a proper pre-rental inspection. So I have started to work on a solution for that, and hopefully, in the future, fewer and fewer people will find themselves in a situation where they dont have proper photos from pre-rental inspection and the car rental company take advantage of that. P.S. Joana, no need to suggest I send an email to you, as I understood from previous communication with your colleagues, it is a waste of time.

Honteux, plus dune heure à attendre devant la porte fermée. Adresse Google incorrecte, personne pour me renseigner correctement par téléphone. Sixt faro super / sixt albufeira zéro. La personne de laccueil très étonné de voir un client, et ne comprend pas que lon arrive en avance pour rendre la voiture. Pour une entreprise tel que sixt je ne peux toujours imagine un tel manque de sérieux et de professionnalisme. Aucune signalisation pour kes trouver dans la rue, vraiment trop de stress.
This is a scam!!!! First, the total amount to pay (reported in my booking confirmation) was 117 and the guy at the beginning asked me to pay 190 . I showed him the confirmation and he apologized saying that was his mistake. After, he started to put on top of 117 so many charges. Nothing was clear, very confusing situation and so disappointed. We ended up to pay 234 . Stay away from them. We spent almost 1 hour in the branch to try to understand what was going on. Not recommended at all!

Là où cest du vol cest quils facturent le plein à 127 (tarif préférentiel sixt selon eux) et on a pas besoin de refaire le plein quand on la rend ok soit... Mais si on ne roule que 400km par exemple ben on perd plus 60 . Perso on a rendu la voiture avec plus de la moitié du réservoir...je ne réserverai plus chez sixt.
It seemed that he desperately tried to make a new contract and get the paid amount again. Tried to sell fuel several times. Took 50 minutes to get the car although it was booked online and prepaid.
I am not used to leave very bad reviews but Im sure I wont ever decide to rent a car with this company. What Ive been told on the phone didnt match with what we actually booked and price was raised due to untold fares not included in our pre-payment order. (Toll fares, credit card amount, insurance, etc) Eventually, we decided not to rent it and lost 15 euros.
AVOID! AVOID! AVOID! We ordered a Renault Captur for a week and paid the car along the required deposit. We returned the car last Saturday, 4 days later no deposit returned and unable to get through on the phone. THIS COMPANY IS DISGUSTING! WE TOOK A VIDEO OF THE CAR UPON RETURN TO PROVE THERE WAS NO DAMAGE.
Lange Wartezeit trotz Abholtermin. Der Mitarbeiter versuchte uns einen 3/4 gefüllten Tank als voll anzudrehen mit dem Argument, dass wir vor Rückgabe nicht tanken müssten, Sixt würde das übernehmen, dafür direkt 100 Aufpreis verlangt ohne das zu sagen. Wir haben das abgelehnt, dann hat sich herausgestellt dass der Tank nicht voll war...ABZOCKE!
Ok, a couple of massive problems here. Firstly, they tried to push extra insurance on me even though I had paid for Premium Insurance. The gentlemen kept circling 2800 and saying that is what I would have to pay should anything go wrong. I called the agency who I booked through and they confirmed I was covered. Secondly, the car was 7/8 full when collected. The agent at the hotel made a note of this. On returning to airport at 7/8, I was asked why it wasnt full. I told them it was 7/8 as per collection. All confirmed OK and signed. Today I have been charged 45 for petrol. Absolute joke of a company.
I have resorted to writing a review. DO NOT RENT FROM HERE! IT IS NOT HASSLE FREE! A traumatic experience from picking up the car. Very very worrying experience, and the reviews just tally up with everyone else s experience. If you have another option, rent some where else. I came to the hotel lobby to pick up my car, I give all my details, and then the price. I was being sold another Contract when I had all my agreed information with me. I was being SOLD Excess Protection but I already had it, another extra was insurance and then it got very confusing, the lady is throwing all these words and prices and doubts if I do not accept. I did not accept the extras except toll fees at an extra 9. My bank card has been charged my rental amount and 200 extra for deposit. I now have two emails and a piece of paper with my rental agreement. After this ordeal, I was sent an email confirming the car checkout and documents. We then have another representative and we went to look around the car, this was an exercise that resorted to me and any wife looking around the car checking for everything thing and pointing out the smallest piece of dirt to cover ourselves. The issues we did spot were actually not an issue because the scratch has to be less than 5cm! . We had to take photos of everything to cover our back. Up on returning the car, this time me and my brother went along. From what we saw the representative walked around, went straight to the end of the car, aligned her vision to the door and that is when we thought what is she doing now . We were accused of a dent in the door, arguing back and forth with the lady that a dent is not visible and it ended up as an immature, yes it is , no its not! situation. But then we got told It s not more than 3cm, so not an issue . After this exercise of checking the car on return I get a piece of paper which is my checkout receipt stating no issues all ok, and signed. When I returned the car, I was told I will receive my deposit back when the agreement is closed. And the agreement closes when I give the car back. Up to 10 days later, I get my money back but then I ring the customer service team to find no answer, several calls and several people willing to offer no help. I then contact the UK Line, for them to say they cannot see that agreement number, they will transfer me to Portugal customer service. What a surprise, no answer and the line just gets disconnected. Now what has happened Sixt Portugal has taken nearly double the amount of the rental from my account, they waited 30 days and did not send an invoice on request. I ve sent emails, failed responses no one talking or responding to me. Finally after waiting 30 minutes on the phone to speak to a representative that did not hang up, she said contact the customer service team which is on email only. I already have emailed. No one cares, they do not care they have taken an extra couple of hundred pounds from my bank account. They said they cannot invoice me because they have no email address, but then on my confirmation agreement they have my email address, then they also sent me documents when picking up the car. The representative on the phone cannot see your agreement, or they cannot see what you have been billed for except they can give you a total amount of the agreement. Which is OVER £200 GBP that they have taken from. I am now out of pocket, no responses so far and I require all the paper work to be sent including an invoice. What an awful experience that is still on going!
Absolutely avoid. They are haughty and unsympathetic. Not able to help the customer and all they can say for their lack of professionalism is that its company policy.

Gave us quite a scratched and banged up car to start with. On returning the car which has sat at our villa all week aside from going to a couple of restaurants, they claimed there was a large new dent on the bonnet. We could not see any sign of a dent ourselves. They then sent through an invoice for over 350 and asked if I had anything to say about it. I replied saying I wished to dispute it and sent over my own photos, only to check my bank and find they had already charged my card! Crooks, we are now disputing via our CC company and shan t be using them again.
Honteux, ny allez surtout pas ! Je regrette de ne pas avoir lu les commentaires précédents avant davoir réalisé la location dans cet établissement SIXT... Au début tout sest bien passé, check out compris. Le lendemain, je reçois une facture mindiquant une surfacturation car jaurais rendu le véhicule dans une autre agence (ce qui nest pas le cas). Lagence ainsi que le personnel ont décidé de filtrer mes appels, impossible de les joindre de nouveaux... alors que le jour de la location on pouvait les joindre sans problème au même numéro ! Heureusement que le service client SIXT est plus honnête que cette agence.
Sixt - Car hire: We made a provisional booking for a car for a day to be able to travel along the coast of Portugal. Whilst in the vicinity, 24 hours earlier, we checked if we were at the right place to collect the car, this was confirmed for us. Upon collecting the car, we were upgraded to the next band / level of car, free-of-charge due to the class of car not being available that we had reserved. This was great. Alex, the SIXT representative was amazing! Absolutely incredible customer service. Informative, helpful, going beyond his service to make sure he provided the best experience possible. Alex informed us of other extra options that we had not taken and we re not aware of. Alex offered a reduction to our compulsory access reducing this to £0. Alex also made it convenient for us not to have to refuel the car and also in addition made it carefree when it came to toll charges. Alex provided 10/10 service. We could not complain at all or had no quarms. Upon returning the car, Joaquim - A SIXT representative - he was friendly and polite too, was able to check the car with us, sign it off and we were free to go. No Hassle, no hidden costs and fantastic service. I highly recommend using SIXT if your after a mode of transport. It s much more convenient and cheaper than you actually imagine. If you re in Albufiera, SIXT is a definite recommend.

we booked a car, everything was okey, I paid by visa & then a few hours later I received an e-mail that the rental car would not be possible to rent for us. No further explanation... worst service ever !!!
Wir waren aufgrund der schlechten Rezensionen sehr skeptisch und haben sehr viele Fotos vom Auto bei der Abgabe gemacht. Es hat aber alles reibungslos funktioniert. Keine Wartezeit, keine Beanstandung von Schäden.

A great rental experience from Sixt Albufeira. Rita in the rental office in the lobby of the Luna Oura hotel was friendly and efficient. Got an upgrade to a brand new car and best of all no unexpected charges on return of the vehicle at the end of the rental.
Malgré tous les mauvais avis sur les locations de voitures, ça s est très bien passé chez Sixt Albufeira, prévoir quand même la carte de crédit et non de débit
Un tarif de 120 annoncé pour 2 jours sur internet. Nous demandons une journée supplémentaire sur place et on nous dis que le prix total est de 177 , au final nous avons du payer 340 pour seulement 3 jours avec aucun problème sur la voiture. Jappelle ça du vol.
Beware!! Sketchy. The rental representative went over everything with us before we rented the car. She showed us the dents and scratches and said they had already made a note of it, so we didn t have to worry. She insisted it was all in the system. Especially the big dents/scratches. When we dropped off the car they said there were 20 extra scratches and dents!! The guy who checks the cars is rude and insisted it was our fault. She refused to come outside so we could show her. Thankfully I had taken pictures of everything right after she left. I forgot I had all those pictures at first, and my husband almost lost it. I couldn t believe it, the same big dents she pointed at us and said this has all been entered in our system and we are aware they were trying to blame on us!! They are very unprofessional and sketchy! Stay away This is for the location downtown, inside the hotel.
SCAM! Stay away from them! They will charge antyhing they can and make you pay for it! Totaly rude and arrogant attitude! Their personnel gets probably a bonus the more they can charge people!

I rented a car one week ago at the airport and the guy from the agency in Albufeira told me that returning the car there would be free of charge. Then I saw that Sixt charged me 16 extra for returning the car there...either Sixt messed up or the agency. In any case I was really mad and I have the feeling of being ripped off by very dishonest people.
Brand-new, modern cars for reasonable prices. Efficient and helpful staff. We trust no one but Sixt and werent disappointed. Please note: The location is not as in google maps wrongfully located. You have to go to the Luna Solaqua Hotel lobby!
Good service, Nice and clean cars. But be careful : - The address given by the GPS is not really exact : When you arrive on Rua do Mediterraneo, you have to go straight at the end of the street and yo uwill find a Sixt Stand inside the Luna Solaqua hotel - Second point the stand is closed on Saturday and Sunday, so if you want to return your car on one of these days you will have to let the keys at the hotel reception (detail that was not mentionned by the employee that gave me the car on Friday for a return on Saturday morning).
