Really helpful and friendly staff. Would have been five stars but we needed a car seat for our baby and it was quite old and not isofix.

They charge for the tiniest scratch more than 200 EUR damage. I would recommend to document and photograph every tiny detail of the car or anyway to use another agency.

Total disaster. We could not pay the car with any Mexican credit or debit card due to the fact that the physical card did not have the numbers (this is common in all Mexican cards), this is the first time I ever have this problem, the website did not mention this issue and they did not allow me to pay with another card that did not have the drivers name. If you are Mexican DO NOT RENT CAR from here!!!!

The only thing I was asked when checking in was whether I’d like additional insurance. I declined, and the lady at the desk handed me an iPad to sign, she said there was some damage on the car which was marked, and to bring the car back with a full tank to avoid fuel charges. I signed where she pointed on an iPad (in Portuguese), and got handed some keys. I have now had a chance to review the email invoice I was subsequently sent, and they have charged me for an upgrade (I never requested an upgrade nor was I told I would need to pay extra), and they have charged me for fuel in advance (despite telling me the policy was full to full, and I returned with a full tank). I was not once told at the check-in that these additional charges would be made. Over €200 which was more than the entire original rental! I’m absolutely shocked by the blatant disregard for fairness to customers. I’d suggest you review anything very clearly and ask for it in your native tongue before signing or taking keys.

Everything was without any issue. I was surprised that even though we have rented one of the cheapest options, we still got pretty much a new car. I can only recommend this company!

Easy rental, nice car, helpful staff (though they could answer their telephone more often 😅)

Rented a car here in March. Picked it up here and dropped it off at the airport in Faro. I only had to wait a bit while the customers ahead of my completed their rental paperwork. The employees were very nice and efficiently handled my rental. I made reservation online through the Budget website, but they had all my information and the process worked just as well as it does in the USA. The car was very nice and perfect for exploring the Algarve. Drop off at the Faro airport was quick and easy and right next to the terminal. I wanted to contribute a “positive review” since most that you see online are negative. I guess you never see comments when there was no problem.

Booked online and picked a car up here. Quite a wait given there was only one person on the desk but managed to process people efficiently with a smile. Would use them again. This office is branded as both Budget and Avis.
