Hired a Fiat Panda through Panda Car rental this week, the hire process was very streamlined, service was good, and the car was clean and in good condition. Price was also very reasonable. Overall great experience.

It is possible to rent a car without a credit card . BE AWARE: you WILL be mandatory charged for toll fees (fixed amount) and an exta insurance fee . Also you have to make a deposit of a few hundred euro's that will be returned after rental. Posible to rent pandas or VW up. Although no toll used, you will never get a refund from them ! Not possible to argue about this for a later refund as they can see after an few days that no toll has been charged. A later refund to the customer of this amount would be a much beter service . This extra mandatory fees makes it not the cheapest rental option, but if without credit card, this can be an option. Ask for the local knowlegde on a spectacular route to Sagres. As cab feed are low and affordable , take a cab to this place.

Recommended compared to the "big" rental companies who dare to offer a Fiat 500 for more than €1000 per week! Christina is very friendly and even brought us and picked up the vehicle from the hotel. All for a normal price. I advise

Close to our hotel no cars to rent. Fortunately, the receptionist helped us and called the panda car agency. We had a mixed experience renting a car at Pandacar Albufeira. The price was fair, and the staff was generally polite. However, after inquiring over email about delivery time, they replied simply 24hrs rental time. When we showed up to sign the contract, it became clear that we had to return the car prior to 18:00 due to office opening hours. As we had an early departure the day after, we had to cut down on our one-day roadtrip. It would be helpful with clearer guidelines on the deadline in their online presence (no info on website, Facebook) or clearer answers during email exchange. Larger rental companies provides 24hr return option.
