We had a day trip with Márcio from Gold Limousine to Fatima and Nazare.. The minivan was very comfortable and hospitality was great. Márcio guided us around important spots and recommended a very good restaurant for lunch.. Very satisfactory service if you want to be independent while receiving some guidance when necessary.. Thank you very much..
Very disappointed in the manager and this company. Our concern: Our driver wasted my family’s time for 20 minutes because he didn’t want to drive us with our luggages, and then he was using his phone while he was driving us, which is illegal. Instead of addressing our concern, the manager used an excuse about safety and then purchased many suspicious looking perfect reviews that were all posted right after my previous review. All on the same day. I wouldn’t hire this company if you value your safety.
We called our hotel, Pestana Palace, to tell them we have 5 people and many, many luggages so we need the biggest car. The hotel said we’d be fine with an 8 seater van, and I agreed after confirming twice since we were coming from Madeira’s Reid’s Palace, and they also took us to and from the airport with the same exact size van. When we were picked up by our driver in Lisbon, he made us wait in the parking lot for 20 minutes as he: 1. Told me I booked the wrong size car. Word for word, he said “I don’t know if it was miscommunication but it was either you or the hotel. Big mistake. Big mistake. Big mistake.” He said this while shaking his head repeatedly. 2. To be more specific, he said, “you made the booking? Next time, you must say SPRINTER.” I told him I explained to the hotel we need the biggest car. He said “That’s not clear language, the word is difficult for us, so next time, say SPRINTER.” If I had the option of booking a bigger car, I would have. But the hotel told me this car was big enough. 3. My mom told him we just came from Madeira and we already fit our luggages in this size of car twice. He said, “ok then we can try.” But he still wanted us to wait while he called his company. 4. So he stood there shaking his head as MY HUSBAND and mom were loading luggages and figuring out the way we put them in Madeira. 5. He then stopped us while we were loading and said, “I want to raise a concern: this a brand new Mercedes. I don’t want the company to come check for damages and send bills.” 6. Again, word for word, “I’m just a simple driver. But this is a new car and I don’t want the company to see there could damages if you are putting the luggages this way.” He repeated this many times. 7. Even worse, he then said the police will pull us over on the highway if they see us with this many luggages. 8. At this point, I call the hotel and tell them exactly what has happened and what the driver said. The hotel confirmed that an 8 seater is fine. The hotel calls the driver to speak with him. 9. The hotel calls me back and tells me the driver only said he was worried about OUR safety. He completely lies to the hotel. I told the hotel: no, we’ve been here standing around because he keeps repeating that either the hotel or I made a mistake, and that we are going to damage his brand new Mercedes van. He repeated many times that he was afraid we would damage his brand new car and he would get in trouble. 10. The driver sees me take photos of the luggages in the van and then changes his tune completely, saying he was only ever worried about OUR comfort and safety as “VIP guests.” This is now the story he is telling. 11. If he was really so concerned with our safety and comfort, he wouldn’t have made us load our luggages ourselves or made us wait in the parking lot for 20 minutes while he lectured us on how WE made a “big mistake” booking this van. 12. He ends our conversation by saying he will drive us, and says to me after he saw me taking a photo: “you can make your report, and I will make mine.” 13. He is driving us and he is complaining about us over text to the company. We have a video of him driving while texting the company a photo of our luggages in the van. He was texting while driving us. So he is concerned about our safety? Either drive us or tell us you can’t take us. Don’t waste our time lecturing us about how we are going to damage your company’s car or get pulled over by the police. I think you should be more worried about getting pulled over for texting on your phone while you drive us. You follow laws? Very funny. And once you see us getting angry, don’t lie to us and say you didn’t mean to say these things and act like you were worried for OUR comfort. If you wanted to make us comfortable you would have taken us immediately just like every other luxury car service in Portugal. This kind of supposed VIP car service for Pestana Palace is a joke. I don’t know why Pestana Palace would work with this company. Go ahead and make your report. We will definitely make ours too.
We asked the concierge of our hotel to book us a transfer from the airport with this company. We had 5 people and a lot of luggage and the hotel reassured us it would fit in an 8 seater. When we arrived in Lisbon, our driver made us wait around for 20 minutes while deciding if he wanted to take us. He talked about how the car was a brand new electric Mercedes and how the company would look for damages at night. He refused to load our luggages properly because he didn’t want to take us. We had to load the luggages ourselves. He finally agreed to take us after we started taking photos of how the luggages fit in the trunk and he got scared. We called the hotel when he was refusing to take us and he said he was worried about our safety, but that was the first mention of us, and we all fit fine in the car. He also claims he was concerned about our safety, but was texting while driving.
We spent the most enjoyable and memorable day with our driver/guide Marcio. We appreciated his enthusiasm for sharing the sights and Portuguese history with us and answering our many questions, as well as going out of his way to respond to our particular interests. His English was excellent and his driving was also superb, all while navigating the challenges of narrow streets, curvy roads and highway traffic. He made our visit to Portugal even more special. Marcio Lucas is the best. My baggage held me up a bit. He waited helped me with it. He was so kind and helpful with places to go. Best time of day for certain things to see. I will be back in a few days and would love to have him take care of my driving needs. The man is one hundred percent reliable and has the integrity of a saint. If you are lucky enough to get him you are on your way!!!

These reviews are not real and it s very obvious. Our driver was texting while driving and made us wait for 20 minutes debating if he wanted to take us or not because of our luggages. The manager doesn t care and instead bought a lot of suspicious reviews to cover up his mistake.

We used Gold Limosine during a visit to Lisbon for a group of 17 for 3 different services: one to Sintra, one to Fatima and the last one for an Airport transfer. Very good service, punctual, new comfortable vehicles, polite drivers. Good communication via Email and phone calls. We were unable to make payments via Credit Card, but the company offered to fix this for future travelers. November 2024
Max, our driver, was terrific. He was polite and knowledgeable, and accommodated our wishes. We had a lovely day exploring the exurbs of lisbon, such as Cascais, sintra, and Cabo de roca. Very nice, comfortable day!
Professional, courteous are two of the attributes I can provide to Maxim, our driver to Sintra. Always keep in touch with us to ensure everything was alright. Has only been driving for five years, yet it was as hes been doing this for longer. His driving skills were calm in nature, never stressed when cut off. Gold Limousine is fortunate to have Maxim as one of their chauffeurs.

We had a transfer from Porto to Lisbon with an awesome driver, Samir Costa. He was much more than a driver. He should be a tour guide. We made stops in Batalha and Nazare. He told us about what we were seeing and took us to the best viewing locations. He also recommended a great restaurant in Nazare for lunch. Samir is a very professional driver and just a great guy. I highly recommend him.

It s our first trip to Portugal and we were on a private 8 hour day tour of Sintra, Cascais and a few other stops. Our Guide/ Driver was Marcio, and he was excellent. There was a. Issue due to the high fire risk and the Pena palace and the park was shut down. This was a big part of our tour. It did not phase Marcio. He did a great job of filling in the extra hours. He showed us a special place he take s his clients too, We had an amazing day with Marcio and thank you Marcio! I would highly recommend Marcio as your guide. You will not be disappointed! This is from my husband- he normally does not give high praise- but Marcio received it.

My family of 4 contracted Gold Limousine for transfers from the airport to our hotel in Cascais and from thr to Lisbon, and also for a full day tour of Obidos and scenic and historic spots along the coast. We cud not be more pleased!! All the drivers were friendly, punctual and professional. The Mercedes vans were impeccable and stocked w waters, umbrellas and all efforts were made to ensure our comfort. Marcio in particular receives our highest compliments!!!! He treated us to the most spectacular tour we will never forget!! He went out of his way in every way possible to make our experience fit our needs and personalities (too many examples to fit in this review!), and his knowledge of the area and passion for what he does was clearly evident. From April 11th to 18th,2024, our team rented a van to travel to Portugal. Marcio was the best driver in the world. Of course, the condition of the car was very good Thanks to him, we were able to handle our busy schedule. In addition, he was really kind and tried to help us. Thanks to Marcio, it was the best trip ever, and Portugal has become my best travel destination. A direct flight to Lisbon will open in Korea from September this year, and I really want to go again. Falta de civismo e educação, ainda hoje no aeroporto um dos condutores ditos profissionais decidiu parar e descarregar a carrinha no parque do aeroporto, entupindo todo o fluxo de trânsito e nem um esboço de desculpa pelo incómodo.

After a few good experiences we had a really bad one. The driver never showed up. They didnt give us any information and never called back after calling the office. We had to take another taxi to not miss our flight. After months of emailing and calling them we never received our money back. Very poor service!

The car never showed. Kept telling us 10mimutes, 10 minutes...30 minutes later we took an Uber. Almost missed our flight.
