Amazing experience with Roadsurfer @ Faro! We rented the Volkswagen California for a week - the van was great to drive, complimentary kitchen box had everything we needed for meals, pop-up roof was very comfy and good for views from bed. Staff were very friendly and thorough in explaining to us about the van during pickup too. Highly recommend!

I am deeply disappointed with Roadsurfer. Our Portugal vacation is supposed to be next week, and we specifically booked the "Road House" camper van for its toilet and surfboard space. Just a week before our trip, we were downgraded to the "Surfer Suite" without a valid explanation. This vehicle lacks the essential features we needed, complicating our plans significantly. To make matters worse, we discovered that a "Road House" van is available in Lisbon, which is not far from Faro. The company has not responded to our messages and informed us of the change just one week before the trip, making cancellation impossible due to their policy. This is highly inappropriate and disappointing.
Rented a California van for 4 nights at the end of August. The staff was super nice & helpful both at pick up and drop off. The main issue was that the water system did not work and we only realised this at the end of the first day after we filled the water tank. Upon pick up, I asked why doesn't Roadsurfer fill up the 30l water tank right there and I got the answer that "We used to, but now we run 30 vans so.." which is silly since it makes no cost difference if you think about it. If they did, they could've found and fixed the water issue right there, and we wouldn't have spent 4 nights without water.
Thank you Roadsurfer for the great experience. The pick-up was really easy - just a 10-15 minute walk from the airport. We got a comprehensive explanation of every detail of the van. The van was well equipped and almost brand-new. We felt really welcome and would definitely recommend Roadsurfer for a ‚vanlife‘ trip along the coast.

Atendimento excelente, fomos convidados a sentar enquanto esperávamos pela carrinha e até nos foi oferecido água pois estava muito calor. Carrinha limpa a fundo e muito bem equipada. Fomos atendidos pelo Francisco que nos explicou tudo tranquilamente e com pormenor e ainda nos deu dicas para a rota que fizemos. Voltaremos com certeza!

Horrible experiencia. Hemos pagado 700 y Por llegar media hora tarde no nos van a esperar y van a dejarnos en la calle. Con una persona discapacitada. Hemos pagado 5 días y no nos van a dejar recoger la furgoneta ni devolver el dinero. Nos ha cogido el teléfono una argentina y solo nos decía que lamentablemente no podían hacer nada. Me parece indignante que te den un margen de 2 horas para coger una furgoneta en Faro y no te esperen media hora si has tenido un imprevisto, además que es de 18:00 a 18:30 que no fuera de horario común. Nos dejan a 4 personas en la calle por un servicio pésimo. Necesitamos una solución y no ofrecen nada. A parte que es imposible comunicarte con ellos.
Solo admiten recogida de la furgo hasta las 6pm (UN viernes en pleno agosto) y como nos hemos retrasado media hora (por causa externa) nos han dejado en la calle. Habiendo pagado Unos 200 por Noche. UN servicio lamentable y unos sinvergüenzas.

Esperienza in van molto bella, ma la gestione di Roadsurfer lascia davvero a desiderare. Al check-in viene presentato un van con il telaio danneggiato, e ci viene assicurato che nessun danno dei noleggi precedenti ci verrà addebitato. Durante il ritiro segnaliamo tutti i danni visibili alloperatore, e chiediamo di inserirli nel contratto, ma questultimo ci rassicura di non preoccuparci di tali danni, i quali a detta sua sono talmente piccoli da non essere nemmeno presi in considerazione. Per tutelarci procediamo comunque a fare le dovute foto al van. Alla consegna troviamo un operatore diverso da quello del check-in il quale, dopo aver controllato il van, ci dice che il van è in ottime condizione e ci assicura che in due giorni la caparra di 800 tornerà. Dopo 10 giorni dalla fine del noleggio, ci arriva una mail nel quale ci viene imputato un danno derivato da un precedente noleggio, con un danno stimato di 425 ! Questo addebito ci viene comunicato via mail e, nella mail stessa, cè scritto che in caso di osservazioni bisogna rispondere ma, dopo un paio di giorni in cui abbiamo allegato tutte le foto mostrando il danno già presente, non abbiamo ancora avuto nessun riscontro. Mi è sembrata una mossa del tutto scorretta e fatta per tirare su qualche soldo, motivo per cui non prenoterò più nessun van con RoadSurfer.
Experiencia inmejorable. Equipo súper profesional con una amabilidad digna de mención . No solo repetiremos la experiencia sino que lo recomendamos a nuestros amigos. Enhorabuena por el servicio!

Première expérience en van au top avec Roadsurfer ! Equipe très sympa et amicale. Check in et check out rapide. Nous avons loué un van (T6 California) pendant plus dune semaine et jen suis ravi ! Van très fonctionnel avec tout léquipement nécessaire, qui a juste un an, qui se conduit très bien et avec un moteur bien suffisamment puissant. Le bonheur de pouvoir profiter de la nature seul À noter : station accessible facilement du centre de Faro en bus et également en VTC (Bolt/Uber) pour environ 10-15 aller retour.
It was our first Van experience and it was so good. Francisco was really friendly and he taught us all the features of the Van. The check in was very fast and the check out as well. Surely the next time we will choose for another Van trip we will refer to roadsurfer again

Très bon accueil de Francisco lors de notre arrivée et départ Pas d attente et prise en charge rapide grâce aux informations et logistique en amont. Très déçu de la propreté du van, traces de saleté placards, table camping sale, donc petit doute sur la vaisselle que nous ´n avons pas osé utiliser lors de notre séjour de 5 jours. Pour une organisation plus simple et permettre de nettoyer personnellement -> pourquoi pas mettre du produit de nettoyage et désinfectant ? Le van est très agréable à conduire et les options sont top. Il serait bien de penser à mettre en place une navette gratuite pour transporter depuis l aéroport nous avons fait l aller à pied en 1h30 c est faisable. Mais le retour en uber a 27 c est moins cool quand nous n avons pas le temps. Ensemble mitigé, le personnel est top, mais côté hygiène à revoir

Première expérience avec Roadsurfer et nous sommes enchantés !!! Nous avons réservé un van pour une semaine fin mai, et tout cest très bien passé, tant au niveau de laccueil que du van, on avait tout ce quil fallait, pour passer des vacances de rêves et sillonner lAlgarve, côte magnifique. Bref, allez y les yeux fermés. Et pour info, de laéroport jusquà lagence nous avons pris un bolt pour à peine 15 a/r.
Notre roatrip à bord du van RoadSurfer était parfait, tout s est passé au top!! A refaire dans un autre pays

Everything was great! On the pick up I had to wait a little bit, because earlier guests were delayed on their arrival, but I didnt mind, since there is a little ha g out area which I could just sit and wait. Once we got started I had a very cheerful experience with one of the workers (I forgot the name, sorry) there, who showed me everything I needed to know about the car, the little tricks and tools. Further on I finished the contract stuff with Isadora who was also very helpful and nice, despite the fact, that there was a lot of business on that day. She also showed us some nice aces we should visit during our trip,which was very helpful! In the day of the return everything happened very quick and easy and I was very satisfied again with the experience. Again, thank you very much for you help and support, we really enjoyed our travels with roadsurfer in particular because if the very friendly workers at the station, who did their very best to get us started into a very nice road trip!
