We booked a cab for one day in Amritsar, with RK holidays. Sandeepji drove us to the Attari Wagha border. He was kind and polite and made sure that all the passengers were comfortable. Since it was our first day in Amritsar he shared a lot of useful information with us that was very helpful for the coming 2 days in the city. It can be safely said that one can surely book a cab with them and ask for Sandeepji, when in Amritsar.

Horrible . I had used their service in Amritsar based on Google reviews. Driver was extremely rude and unprofessional, lacking in basic mannerism. He asked us to board car at far end from place where we got down. Once we sat in car we asked him politely others cabs were standing there why you refused us to board at the point where we got down. Mad driver just started shouting at us. My wife asked him to control his tongue, He started shouting at my wife. Hearing such tone we got down midway in Dec cold night and took rickshaw to hotel. We narrated incident to owners who was equally rude. Never use them.

We booked a package in Amritsar through an agency, and we were allotted Rana as the driver, with a Toyota Innova Crysta. Rana was nice and polite- he was eager to show us around, and accompanied us wherever he felt we might need help. He was very familiar with all the sight seeing places and the roads. He drove us from Amritsar to Chandigarh as well, and we felt he is a very safe and confident driver. He was always very respectful and we felt safe and comfortable with him. The car was clean , spacious and well maintained. We would definitely recommend Rana and RK Holidays to our friends visiting from Dubai.

We had booked 4 days tour with this company for Amritsar & Dalhousie. We enjoyed the whole trip. We were just two ladies but our driver Mr Sandeep made the whole trip safe & comfortable. The service provided was not up to the standards expected. The driver and vehicle were satisfactory, but the booking process was unprofessional. The initial communication was professional, but the tone changed after the advance payment was received. The payment breakup was sent via WhatsApp, and the full payment was made, albeit not as per the agreed-upon breakdown. The behavior of the agency became quite rude after the advance payment was received. It is concerning that there may be false reviews with 5-star ratings, which shouldnt be expected from such an agency.

I hired a taxi from RK Travels for my 4-day trip to Dharmshala based on their high ratings, but it turned out to be a poor decision within minutes of boarding the cab. I was traveling with my wife and 9-month-old baby, and I specifically requested Mr. Bharat, the owner, to provide a good cab and a decent driver. Unfortunately, neither was provided. The driver appeared drowsy, was speeding, demanded toll fees, and asked me to turn off the AC. After I contacted Bharat, he resolved the issues, and the rest of the trip was manageable. However, this experience tarnished my trip. I would have given them more business, but given the poor experience, I will recommend someone else instead. I wish Mr. Bharat had taken my request more seriously.

We had booked a Spiti trip from RK Holidays taxi service which was a 6 nights 7 days tour package !! I must say, right from the very beginning Mr. Bharat was enthusiastic and supportive and made sure we had one of the best trips and indeed we did, we won t ever forget this trip for years to come. Hotels booked were nice enough and we didn t have any complaints, the absolute BEST part of our trip was our driver Rana! He is such a skilled driver for such extreme terrain and if anyone knows how to overcome such terrain with ease, it s Rana. He is also such an entertaining guy with full of jokes. Terrible. Even though I booked multiple trips in advance they only sent me driver info while I was on the plane. Had no internet and no way to contact the driver when I landed. For both trips I had to ask like 5 times when they will send me details of the driver. I also requested for a few different stops which they acknowledged. I reminded the driver about the stops, and then he proceeded to not bring us to any of them. When I checked with the company they just said they hadn t understood my request, even though they had acknowledged it. Awful . Not worth paying the premium.

Amritsar-Dalhousie-Dharamahala When we are on vacation we dont only need good stay and good food, one of the important aspect is the driver we have for the entire trip. Very good service provided by RK Holidays - Mr. Bharat and Ms. Ayushi. We opted for accommodation plus travel package provided by them. The coordination they provided during our entire trip was very good. All the queries / requests we had before and during our trip were professionally handled and resolved. Hotels selected were decent and considering our budget. The Innova Crysta provided by them was very well maintained, and (driver) Rohit was very co-operative throughout. Pros: Super responsive. Quickly provided an all inclusive quote. Although their prices were highest, but their review scores were the highest too, so presumed their services too would be best. Caution: Don t get carried away by the all inclusive ask for details Cons: Organization of the trip and service quality was not up to the mark and full of surprises. Unless you know how the cab system works, you will be always wondering what next. Details were kind of sketchy and were given only when you call them, else you are on your own. We had two cab drivers for different parts of the journey (which I didn t know and was surprised, if I knew I would not have hired them). First cab person was good. The second cab and person we got was on the phone talking loudly throughout the journey, texting and watching phone on the highway. Very dangerous. Car was also run down and old. The cab person also was quite pushy. We stopped for a meal and he wanted us to rush, while he stopped multiple times on his own when he wanted at the places he wanted.

I drove with Ajay ji for 5days from Amritsar Dalhousie and Dharam shala he drove professional throughout and was helpful to drop my daughter to hospital as she fell sick and fever without raising any concern or reimbursement

Used the services of rk holidays for my recent outing from Amritsar - dalhousie- dharmshala - palampur. The cab provided was neat , clean and well maintained through out the journey. The driver Gurdeep Singh ( Gopi) was a thorough gentlemen extremely polite, humble, punctual, respectful efficient at driving and well versed with all the routes. I would highly recommend their services for future travels.

Bad service

Overall an ok-ok Experience. Have used their services for booking an innova chrysta with driver for pickup from Amristar - Dalhousie - Dharmshala - Amritsar including local sightseeing for 6 days. After providing our itinerary and hotel locations where we would be staying, we got an all inclusive quote(nothing additional for petrol, road tax, parking, night charges, driver accomodation and driver food). First the good things 1) RK Holidays were fast to respond and meticulously followed up after i initially contacted them for taxi booking.Had to pay only token amount of Rs 2k to confirm the booking and rest was to be paid to driver when we arrived at Amritsar. 2) The vehicle/driver details were shared one day before our trip on WhatsApp. 3) Innova provided was clean, well maintained and overall good. 4) Driver Mr Manjit Singh was courteous, arrived on time to pick us up at Airport, extremely good driving skills and did not even require google maps for any part of our 6 day trip. 5) Excellent guided trip by Mr Manjit at Golden temple. Now the not so good things: 1) Day 2 at Dalhousie: As per itinerary we were supposed to go to Chamba sightseeing via Chamera lake. However it was a gloomy day with mild rains. So Mr Manjit(driver) did not take us to Chamera lake saying we wont be able to do boating at Chamera as it is raining and instead just went to Mall Road/Panchkula. 2)Day 3 at Dalhousie: Kalatop Sanctuary was part of itineary. However Mr Manjit refused to take the vehicle to Kalatop and said that we have to take another local taxi as taxi union forbids taking private taxi inside the Kalatop Sanctuary. We had to pay additional 1.5k for the taxi for a distance of 3 km one way. However later when we reached the entrance of Kalatop sanctuary we saw there were private taxis parked there and the guard confirmed that there is no restriction from local taxi union on bringing private taxi inside to sanctuary. I feel there is some kind of understanding between the taxi union and Mr Manjit for taking commission. BEWARE 3)Day at Dharmashala: A)Dal Lake and Nadi view point were part of the itinerary. However Mr Manjit was first only telling us there is nothing over there and dissuading us not to go there.. However on our insistence he proceeded that side, but on the way where the traffic was there pretended to talk to one person on the road and spoke in Punjabi something we did not understand and that person told us there is a traffic jam of 2 hours to go to Dal Lake and Nadi view point. So Mr Manjit asked us if we wanted to waste 2 hours to go there to which we said no. Later when we changed course, it struck me to check google maps, and it was showing just 20 minutes to reach Dal Lake and Naddi view point.BEWARE. Check the google maps to validate what the driver tells. B) As we had not gone to Chamera lake earlier in Dalhousie, inorder to compensate for the Kms not travelled, we requested Mr Manjit to go to Kangra Valley(not part of our itinerary) in Dharmshala which was at a distance of only 20km one way. However he said we have to pay 3k more as it was not part of the agreed itinerary and the kms not travelled in Dalhousie cannot be covered in Dharmshala. This was totally not fair. 3) Mr Manjit would somehow stop at only those places for lunch/tea which are frequented by other tourist taxis/bus/vans even though we told him we want to try authentic local restaurants. I guess the restaurants frequented by the tourist taxis have a tie-up with the driver to bring the customers in return for some commision. 4) Mr Manjit will cajol you with his talks along the journey to visit some specific local shops/paragliding places at different places in Amritsar/Panchkula/Khajjiar for buying dresses/bedsheets/shawls/doing paragliding etc.. Of course you guessed it right, its all about getting commission.

It was great experience.hectic free tour for us to Himachal.Everything was finely taken care by the R.k holidays.hotel was were also good with great view.

Dont go with the reviews in google as we had Worst experience with the kind of service they provided , at the time of booking he said we are providing luxury cabs but when got into cab he dropped at golden temple and left for work....he said AC is not working so getting repaired...we were 16 members including kids and elders...we had to wait for him in too hot weather for almost 2 hours, finally we took auto to visit the attari border otherwise we would have missed waiting for him. During the booking they will talk very nicely to get booking but after that no professional talk.

Was part of a group from Kerala. Right from arriving in Amritsar last Saturday till today we were taken around the city and to Dalhousie, Dharmshala,Waga border etc , in your tempo traveller. Thanks for your splendid service and special mention of our driver Mr. Harvinder pal Singh. His behaviour with us was something more than a driver, being new to the place he took extra care of all and was kind enough to stop the vehicle midway, when we had some health issues. Special thanks to him. I recommend him for long trips as he is the best person to move along.

This the second bad experience with this Taxi service. First during and intercity travel the fast tag was not working properly and wasted 10-15 mins at almost every toll. Second time I requested for Airport transfer, Innova at 11.45 PM at night and it came late by 15 mins and the driver was not tying our luggage on the carrier with a rope. Only after I myself took down the luggage from the carrier, then driver agreed to tie the luggage. This angered me and I cancelled the taxi. This seems like a fly by night operator with some artificial jacking of reviews. This operator cannot be trusted because I have heard luggage being stolen on the way in this way.
