Just the math behind this business concept again: The actual rental fees for a car are very low per day. In our case it was 10 EUR. For the possibility that both of us were allowed to drive, it was another 10 EUR per day. The largest item is insurance at EUR 20 per day. Extrapolated over a year, that would come to EUR 7,300. And there is almost no apparent insurance coverage given for this. We left the establishment, wrote off the 80 EUR that had been debited and will take action against it with a lawyer. We feel betrayed and therefore warn all potential customers of this car rental company. Before transfering the loan amount, make sure you get a sufficient insurance coverage that is worthy the name. Or even better avoid going to 7m Rent a Car at Canico de Baixo.

Ordered online, paid in advance and everything was good. Of course online you can't choose exactly a car you want just a type of car. Car was nice, clean, everything went well. Small downside is fuel. They giving you not full tank and you have to bring it back with similar amount, that it just not compatible and not regular rule..

I don't recommend it at all. We arrived at the store around 6:45 p.m., the lady was just finishing serving a customer. She came to talk to us as if she was doing us a big favor. We asked about prices and available cars. She had some but was already closing, so she told us, "Now, only tomorrow," which we agreed to, since we were going to take a walk around the area. The next day, at 9:30 a.m., we went back to the same store. The lady, with the same disposition for delivery, told us that she only had a car at noon. Since we hadn't signed a contract the day before, of course she didn't want to work anymore. How could she?? It's extremely unprofessional.

Brakes started making strange noises on the first day. On the second day the car had to be changed on the way because the brakes were completely worn out. Annoying and time consuming. The car had 26,000 km - probably still the first pads?... and the first tires, which were also completely worn out inside. No emphasis is placed on maintenance. Note: A takeover with a full tank is simply a clearly regulated matter, I would insist on that next time. But more likely with a different landlord or a newer car.

Wanted a Rent a Car station near the hotel and 7m was the winner. I don't regret it. Large selection of vehicles, at affordable prices. Not so much locally. There were also two-wheelers. I decided on a Ford Focus with only 8000 km. Be sure to take out fully comprehensive insurance as almost all vehicles have some damage. Unfortunately, due to careless drivers who don't value other people's property, which is a shame. Payment options: Cash or credit card. I didn't have to pay a deposit, probably because of fully comprehensive insurance. I can only recommend it, especially because the friendliest employee in Madeira, Maria, works there.
