10/10 would recommend. Requested bike on Friday for Monday morning and bike was delivered to the hotel at the time that suited me best. Bike was in perfect condition and was set up exactly as I needed. Will definitely use again

If I had one annual shot at giving 6 stars, Id give them to these guys. They dropped off the bike at my hotel, great bike, e-shift, disk brakes, carbon wheels, all that, for e60. Daniel also shared a route with me through Strava that I rode and that was epic. These are clearly bike lovers that want you to have a good time exploring their hills around Lisbon. Highly recommend them!

Excellent service from Daniel, from very prompt email correspondence to delivering and picking the bike back up at my address. Bike was perfectly tuned and in perfect condition, with appropriate pedals and garmin mount. Road conditions were super smooth and cycling in Sintra park was quiet in parts and offered some good climbing challenges. Would have no hesitation recommending or using Portugal Rent Bike.

Hatte mich bei mehreren Radverleihern umgesehen und hatte schon fast die Hoffnung aufgegeben, hier in Estoril ein vernünftiges Mietrennrad zu bekommen. Im letzten Geschäft habe ich dann eine Telefonnummer bekommen und sieh da, am nächsten Tag hat mir Daniel ein Rennrad abgestimmt auf meine Geometrie mit meinem Pedalsystem und Helm ins Hotel gebracht, das Bike war voll okay, und Daniel hat mir sofort angeboten, mich den nächsten Tag zu begleiten und mir schöne Wege zu zeigen, die ich alleine, trotz Strava, so nicht gefunden hätte. Eine tolle Tour mit viel Windschatten und Kuchenpause, was will das Herz mehr. Daniel ist super nett und lebt für seinen Sport, er ist die beste Wahl, wenn ihr ein Rennrad mieten möchtet oder geguided werden wollt.

My friend and I hired 2 road bikes from here and couldn t fault the service. Arranged very quickly from the main office (be aware they share the same office as the scooter hire place and don t be put off by there not being many road bikes on display). All sorted with a courier via WhatsApp including the extras and correct pedals for our cleats, bikes delivered very punctually the following day which were really nice and in immaculate condition. Picked up on time and they clearly care about their customers. I come a few times a year to Cascais and will 100% rent with them again

Bike was a great, Cannondale carbon road bike with Shimano groupset. Got some good tips for rides and giving back the bike was just as effortless with pick up from my accomodation. Amazing service. Just back from Cascais were we had a wonderful bike rental experience with Daniel & Tiago. The lads personally delivered and picked-up our amazing road bikes from our AirBnB and couldnt have helped more with bike set up (pedals, seat adjustment, locks, helmets etc) and accommodating on timings. Communication beforehand was superb and Daniel sent recommendations on routes around Sintra and the coast via Strava. Hired our two bikes for four days, and for the quality of the bike and the service provided, it was an exceptionally reasonable cost. I couldnt recommend these guys more if you are looking to get some decent bikes to roam around the wonderful Portuguese coast line and up into Sintra. Will definitely use again.

Delivered and pick-up at your door! They also provide tools for adjustments and Garmin holder. I recommend their services!

Daniel provided the smoothest possible bike rental experience. I had not booked a rental bike prior to arriving in Portugal, and fortunately I found Daniel and contacted him via WhatsApp on the day of my arrival. Within minutes, he responded and arranged to deliver a road bike (Orbea Orca) to my hotel. Price was fair and competitive with other rentals in the area. Bike was great. The return was even easier - Daniel just picked up the bike from the front desk of my hotel.

Daniel was amazing to accommodate a very last minute request. I just sent a message and about 1 hour later he showed at my hotel with a nice bike, shoes, helmet, tools and even a water bottle.

Racefiets gehuurd voor één dag. De eigenaar kwam de fiets brengen naar het hotel en haalde hem nadien weer op. Perfect onderhouden fiets, waarop ook een houdertje met herstelmateriaal was voorzien. Topservice! Ook een erg vlotte en sympathieke eigenaar van de zaak. Ideale manier dus om de streek per racefiets te verkennen.

We hired two bikes for a short stay in Estoril. Called in the morning, the bikes were dropped off an hour later by Tiago with all the equipment (helmets, essential bike maintenance tools). We enjoyed the two very good bikes all day. Daniel and Tiago were very accommodating whereas we returned the bikes quite late in the evening. The price was reasonable. A very great experience!

Visited Lisbon in January (2024) and needed a hire bike to maintain my training programme. A Google search found me getting in touch with this team and Daniel was an absolute legend. I could not have asked for more from him. Bike delivered to the hotel and given the time to get some set up all completed and also pointed out some great routes for the planned rides I needed to get done around my business trip.

We have rent two bikes on sunday afternoon. Viktor was very helpful, we had two options /city bike or MTB/ for renting, we choosed two citybikes for our short tour with baskets on the front. The bikes worked very well, with no issue. The price is also reasonable. Highly reccomend!

I don t usually write reviews but Portugal Rent Bike is worth the exception. Daniel and team provided our family with perfect bikes as well as great guidance/advises (itineraries and places where to stop for lunch or coffee). I rented both mountain bikes and road bikes during our stay. I had the privilege of riding with Daniel, pro cyclist, who took le to really nice courses. In brief, great place to rent bikes at very raisonnable prices, and great people too.

Arranged road bike rental the night before and picked up the next morning. High quality and quite new (mint condition) Orbea Orca carbon bike with mostly Ultegra drive train and rim brakes. Very well tuned, did not miss any shifts. Daniel was very responsive. He also suggested alternate routes that made for a spectacular ride.

I rented a road bike for 6 days to discover the surroundings, the bike was in good condition with the necessary spare tools provided all delivered personally to my hotel. I didn t encounter a single flat tire on the not-always-good roads most likely to the high quality tires (Vittoria) on it. You can rent a bike in many places but Daniel s smile and friendly service is unique

Sehr empfehlenswert! Der Besitzer ist sehr nett und kompetent. Ich wollte eigentlich ein normales Bike ausleihen, im Endeffekt habe ich mich für ein E-Bike entschieden. Ich hab es für 3 Tage gemietet und dafür insg. 54 bezahlt. Find ich sehr fair. Mit dem E-Bike konnte ich die ganze Gegend um Cascais herum erkunden: Cabo da Roca, Praia da Ursa, Praia da Guincho, Boca do Inferno etc. und bin zu einigen Nachbarschaftsorten geradelt. Es loht sich. Immer wieder gern wenn ich mal in Cascais bin.

Victor est super sympathique et parle français. On a loué deux VTC pour la journée pour 20 euros. On a pu remonter la piste cyclable jusque Guincho et il nous a conseillé de bon restos typique dans la ville dAreia, loin des sentiers touristiques. Bref une adresse pour tout les amateurs de bonnes balades à vélo !

Victor est très sympa et parle très bien français effectivement. A l écoute de nos besoin, il a parfaitement su y répondre, avec des prix vraiment raisonnables. En résumé, c est le spot où louer son vélo à Cascais.

Renting a bike from Daniel was a very positive experience. I got a very good race bike which was in excellent condition. He also mounted the requested pedals on the bike and provided helmet. Pricing is very correct and Daniel was really flexible in offering me extra day last minute and bringing me a GPS mount in the morning to my holiday home. Highly recommend renting your bike here!

We would highly recommend Daniel and his crew if you are looking for good road bicycles. We had a group of 4 riders that needed bikes (3x road and 1x e-bike) with different sizes and pedal combinations. Daniel was able to fulfill all our requirements, deliver and pick up the bicycles. As he is also an excellent rider he fully understands your requirements and tries his hardest to deliver on them. 5 stars all around.

Daniel was awesome. So chilled and easy to deal with. Would recommend. Bikes were great and it is a great place for a ride. We managed a 60mile loop up the coast and back via Sintra and its extensive one way systems. Finding the shop was slightly tricky as it was below where we first looked in Google maps. But a local put us straight.

A very friendly and accommodating service. We arrived without a booking and everything was done to accommodate us. We were also given a discounted price as we were not able to rent for a full day . Much cheaper then other electric bike rentals, but the bikes were perfect for exploring both the coastline and the rugged hills inland. I would definitely recommend!

Wir haben hier drei Fahrräder mit Helmen gemietet. Es ist viel günstiger als beim Bahnhof. Und der Inhaber ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Er hat sich Zeit genommen die Fahrräder speziell für uns einzustellen. Zudem hat er gemeint wir könnten ihn einfach anrufen wenn wir einen Platten hätten. Wir waren sehr zufrieden.

Eine Nachricht besagte, man solle anrufen, der Verantwortliche sei in der Nähe-Anrufbeantworter-meldete sich aber umgehend zurück-wäre in 20 Min. vor Ort, er hätte aber sowieso nicht die Fahrräder, die wir uns wünschten-hatten das Gefühl wir stören-sorry, war nicht unsere Absicht, wollten doch nur Fahrräder mieten.

Wir hatten Bikes für das 24 h Rennen in Cascais ...war super. Die Räder waren in Top Zustand. Die Ausstrahlung von Daniel ist unglaublich positiv. Allein , dass er abends noch mal rum kam und Lichter verteilte....uneingeschränkt weiter zu empfehlen. Keep on your good work

While staying in Portugal with my girlfriend and her family, I went on a bike tour around Cascais on a 43 mile beautiful journey with a tour guide by the name of Daniel. He was an awesome tour guide and a very nice dude. My Portuguese is at an all time low to say the least, but he was nice enough to try and converse with me about biking and my upcoming triathlon training. He led the pack of us with outstanding signal practice and was a very safe tour guide. I would definitely ride with Daniel again.

Daniel was not only very professional in handling my request for a XS size frame but also joined me for the spin and showed me around the course of the 70.3M. Truly enjoy the company, the technical knowledge and also the extra challenging climbs he brought me. Highly recommend if you are planning to cycle /train /race. There is not enough time in life to ride the wrong bike!

Very friendly and knowledgeable. Supplied bike, shoes and helmet and the tour was great. Guide was very knowledgeable, safety was paramount and the route awesome. Thoroughly enjoyable ride and would recommend it to all avid cyclists.

Great and extremely serviceminded. Good quality bike given it is a rental bike. Unfortunately I could not join a social ride with Daniel.

Daniel has very good and light road bikes to rent and often leads sportive rides through to beautiful landscape of the Serra de Sintra. Hes careful and reads the traffic on the roads very well, so everybody is safe at his side.

Really nice staff, giving tips and uncomplicated process of rental. Would definitively recommend in Cascais to do that and ride along the coastside, even if its cloudy!

Awesome guys! They will help you to choose a bike and share some advice on best destinations to visit. We also got a useful map with surrounding area. They are nice and friendly. Bikes are good and modern with reasonable prices.

Great service, a nice bike was dropped of at my appartement at the desired time. Cycling in the Cascais Sintra area is amazing, beautiful roads along the beach and steep climbs through the magical forest.

Super point de location. Victor parle le français et est dune gentillesse extrême ! Il se soucie des clients qui roulent sous la pluie en les appelant pour leur proposer une alternative, du jamais vu ! Aux petits soins du client, il nous a même fixé un support de smartphone sur le scooter. Les prix sont très bas. Il est plus intéressé du bien être de ses clients que pour largent. Rude... We were ignored for 15mins whilst serving customers who arrived after us. When tended to they tried to give us terrible quality bikes. Ended up going to the bike shop inside the train station who offered better bikes with a quicker service for the same price.

Laut einer Rezension sollte hier die Fahrradmiete 5 betragen. Unsere Fahrräder kosteten 10 . Die Räder waren in sehr schlechter Qualität. Das Pedal knackste bei jedem Tritt, ein Boudenzug stand ab, sodass dieser bei jedem Tritt den Fuß berührte, der angebrachte Korb war rostig und hatte scharfkantige Stellen, sodass unsere Tasche nun Flecken hat... Für das gleiche Geld hätte ich in anderen Stellen ein nagelneues intaktes Rad erhalten...

Le magasin était fermé lors de notre arrivée mais un coup de fil à Rui et le gérant est venue rapidement. Les tarifs sont de 7 pour une demi journée et 10 pour une journée complète. Lors dune journée complète les vélos sont à rapporter à un hôtel près du magasin. Concernant les vélos, ils commencent à être vieux ou alors sont mal entretenu, frein limite, panier usagé, on a meme casser la pédale dun des 4 vélos loués ... A noter que le siège bébé est gratuit.

Extremely uncomplicated... Very fast and friendly service. Great option to bring back the bike outside the opening times of the shop.

Wir wollten ursprünglich zwei Fahrräder und einen Kinderanhänger leihen. Nach kurzer Fahrt mussten wir feststellen, dass Radfahren mit 2 Kleinkindern in Cascais/Monte Estoril sich etwas schwierig gestaltet (bergig, wenige Radwege). Wir haben die Räder dann nach 1h zurückgebracht und Rui hat uns nichts dafür berechnet. Ein sehr netter, zuvorkommender Typ dieser Rui!

Hele goede ervaring met een eigenaar die passie voor het fietsen heeft. Hij heeft twee keer veenendaal veenendaal gereden voor uw beeldvorming als renner in een pro-team. Samen met een vriend twee racefietsen gehuurd, full carbon fietsen gekregen met Ultegra groep er op. Daarnaast gratis fietsschoenen, helm, bidon, binnenband met fietspomp en top service. Echt een aanrader voor iedere fietsliefhebber. Kortom lyrisch.

Flexible and professional service. I would highly recommend the place. Best bike rental experience in Portugal so far. The owner of the business was really friendly, when I called him he immediately came and gave me a nice road bike with spare tires, helmet even look pedals too. The price compared to the given bike is relatively cheap, i was really satisfied and will definitely come back again.

Great service. We rented a tandem and two bikes for our kids for a day. Sizes were adjusted accordingly and we were given a telephone number to call in an emergency if we needed to be picked up. The fee was 5 per bike and 10 for the tandem.

Well organised, great price! Bicycles are well maintained, they install a bicycle seat on site, as well as a basket, at no extra cost. The only disadvantage I find is that the bicycles are very simple and of low quality.

Rents b-twn mountain bikes, solid 5 hours

I contacted Daniel from Portugal Rent Bike in advance to setup bike hire for one day and asked if it was possible he could guide a ride of about 80-100km, which he confirmed could - given the reasonable rate I took him up on this rather than going out on my own! He led us on a stunning route from Cascais around the coastal road past Praia do Guincho and a quick stop at Praia das Azenhas before onto a coffee stop. Daniel is very accommodating so just explain what sort of ride you want to do - he set a nice tempo and helped when I got a bit tired towards the end! He is a very friendly guy to speak with and clearly loves showing cyclists round the area. Highly recommended!
