New and necessary location on the south bank, very useful for a large part of the population, and in a location easily accessible by public transport or by own car, young and friendly team on site.
I rented a Renault Master for a day at the Corroios station. When I picked up the vehicle, the employee Félix asked if I could reduce the excess in case of an accident for an extra €20. I declined the offer, and he tried to influence my decision and asked me 3 more times to see if I would change my mind. I declined again. While I was checking to see if everything was ok with the vehicle before taking it, the same employee said that it was not worth filming the inside because they do not take into account signs of wear. That was when I started to find this employee's behaviour strange... On the day of delivery, I filled up with fuel but the indicator on the dashboard did not change. The employee Félix claimed that we had not put any fuel in. We had driven a total of 60km and had put €35 worth of fuel in! (we have the receipts). He still kept saying that we should have filled the tank... They gave us a car with a fault on the dashboard and they want to charge us €90 for the fuel. After much conversation, he mentioned that many vehicles have this defect! But he didn't have the capacity to tell us this at the beginning. This is very unprofessional and uncaring towards the customer.
I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with my recent rental experience. Charging an extra day for a 30-minute delay (I was already home at 11:13), without any prior notice, is unacceptable. When I picked up the vehicle, I stated that I would prefer to wait until after 11:00 so as not to be charged for the extra day, and I was informed that this was no problem. Furthermore, the lack of clarity in the information about the insurance, which led me to believe that there would be no daily charge, is a clear sign of incompetence.
I rented the car for 2 days, picked up at 11:49 on 23 October, and the delivery time was 12:00 on 25 October. I returned the car at 11:53. The delivery was only completed at 12:47, so I was charged an extra day. As the rental company is a good company, the "error" was only detected now, when the invoice arrived.
