I had an incredible experience with Budget Rent a Car Estoril both times this year, thanks to Enrice's exceptional customer service. He was not only amazing but also incredibly professional, making the entire process smooth and enjoyable. The service was lightning-fast, and both collecting and returning the car were seamless. I highly recommend this for anyone looking for top-notch service and efficiency! N.B: Fill in the digital check in form for faster process and make sure to have all requested documents when collecting the car.

2 weeks after delivery of the car I received an email charging 1200 euros extra cost for damage to the car. Shameful! Fortunately, on the day I received the car, I took photos that showed all the damage that already existed. Advices 1. Make a video of the car upon delivery 2. Do not sign the contract before checking and recording all existing damages

Be warned that store hours and posted phone numbers are unreliable. I made a reservation for noon on a Tuesday when store is supposed to be open. No one was there except other confused clients waiting for their reservations. Phone number on the door did not answer, and posted number on site is out of service. Central reservations for avis and budget could not help at all except to say someone should be there. No kidding. The lone employee there eventually appeared. He is left alone manning the store and has to go get other cars when needed. He was very polite and competent, so the issue here is avis and budget who leave a person alone with no backup at this agency, and don't provide correct information about what is happening.

We have only had the best experiences on three trips to Estoril. The booking via cheap rental car was implemented there without any problems. Very accommodating, an employee stayed an extra hour to collect our rental vehicle. Once again we underestimated the traffic jams in and around Lisbon. All of this for free. The toll highways should also be booked. At the electronic toll station (usually on the far left of the road), it's much quicker than searching for change or a credit card.
