Great customers service! After our trip through Portugal and Spain that saw us pick up and drop off multiple cars (5 total locations!), this was by far the best Avis agent we worked with. The overall experience was friendly, quick, and easy. As of June 2024 there is one small thing to be on the look out for (and not this location's fault): there are other "Avis"s that show up on the map in Evora but they are closed or Google Maps has them in the wrong place. This location is in an industrial park on the south side of town — with plenty of space to drop off and pick up cars!

Its not there. It is in the industrial park with Avis rentals. Poor costumer service. Could not get a baby seat and had to cancel plans... even if the baby was booked day ahead...

Booked online with a baby seat. Even did the online check-in... There was no baby seat. Lost a day and had to pay roundtrip taxi to this end of the world location. And staff couldn't care less about our situation.

Carlos with Budget greeted us as if old friends and took care of us quickly and was completely service minded. Being from California we do not speak any Portuguese but Carlos spoke perfect English. When we returned the car we were running late to meet the train and Carlos arranged a courtesy ride back to the train station so that we did not miss the train. We cannot recommend this smaller-sized Budget rental enough when traveling around Evora. Evora is a special city with much to offer and off the tourist beaten path. A special Thank you to Carlos !

Professional courteous customer service. No public transportation near by, however, a taxi was approx €5 to center of town.

Truly excellent staff and service at Evora car rental! When my husband and I needed a car for a day trip, we found Avis, and with an easy phone call were able to arrange it. Carlos was wonderfully friendly, welcoming, and helpful, taking his time to make sure we were getting the right car at the right price, and comfortable driving it. He is fluent in English, so communicated with complete clarity, a real advantage for us. And on top of this, Carlos picked us up to bring us to the car rental office, and dropped us off when we were finished with the car; his boss, the Avis proprietor also led us out to the main highway from the office so we had an easy start to our day. He and the Avis proprietor gave us lots of tips, including a couple of great suggestions for places to include on our day's exploration. Thank you! I will recommend Avis to anyone looking to rent a car here.
