Wir hatten den Transporter und waren mit allem sehr zufrieden! Es fehlen vielleicht noch ein zwei Haken wo man Sachen aufhängen könnte und noch eine Kiste mehr als Stauraum aber das ist Meckern auf hohem Niveau ;-) Ingesamt super freundlicher, unkomplizierter und schneller Service, außerdem war es in der Low Season kein Problem den Bus früher als angegeben abzuholen, vielen Dank!

De la réservation en ligne au retour du van tout s est très bien passé. Très bonne communication en amont, Check in et Check out rapide et efficace. Nous avions un kangoo maxi modèle Vagabond pour 2 confortable et très bien aménagé nous n avons manqué de rien ! Nous réitérerons.

excellent communication and service. They helped us put the boards on our car and provided everything needed to put it there. You can also borrow bunch of stuff(beach ball, sun cream, cooking stuff, ) for free. One minor downside is that my wetsuit was a bit worn out and had some holes in it.

Sooooo unglaublich freundlich! Sogar nachdem unser Fahrzeug nicht mehr starten konnte wurden uns mehrere Optionen genannt, wie wir weiter machen wollten. Wir haben uns dann für einen neuen Camper entschieden! Per Whatsapp sind wir bis zum Ende ganz unkomploziert in Kontakt geblieben. Wirklich! So zuvorkommend! Unfassbar! Incroyable première expérience en van avec Ocean Camper. On était deux dans le mode le bohemian et cétait très confortable. Le van a tout ce quil faut, très bien pensé, aménagé, propre et équipé. Amazing nearly new Van that ran wonderfully and without a hitch. Amenities in the van were as described, with amazing shower and fridge. Check in and check out ran smooth! Would rent from there again.

Absolut mega! Der Service ist perfekt und für ein paar Tage unterwegs ist der Minivan genau das richtige für einen Aufenthalt an der Algarve. Einfach zu Fahren, sehr gut ausgestattet und sogar bequem. Wer mal einen außergewöhnlichen Urlaub machen möchte und sich nicht zu fein ist, muss das ausprobiert haben. Booked the Bohemiam campervan for 9 days it was perfect for our trip around Portugal. Very well set out and Comfortable for our trip. The guys at ocean camper were great, allowed us an early check in and late check out and even picked us up from and dropped us back to the airport with our bags and boards! Great van with everything you need. Very helpful staff who gave great service including late check in/outs and lots of great advice.

The van is great! Perfectly small and inconspicuous, comfy and has almost all you need (cover/protection for windy/rainy days, salt and pepper could be added). You can always text the team and they reply fast and are very helpful. Also you can add whatever material you need (f.ex. surfboard) and its mostly cheaper than when you rent it somewhere else. The van is good for good weather days.. on bad weather days with wind its becoming less of a joy.. its difficult to cook (no roof/protection), cold during the night & you dont have any space to chill except your bed.

We tried exploring Portugal with a campervan for the first time and our decision to have it done through Ocean Camper has been the best one. With a vibrant team, the whole arrangement has become smooth and painless. The van was well organised for the best camping experience.

Durchdachter Camper mit allem ausgerüstet was man braucht und das für einen günstigen Mietpreis. Klein aber feiner Camper. Freundliche und entgegenkommende Vermieter. Alles bestens, wir mieten uns bestimmt wieder mal einen Kangoo dort. Deshalb 5* für OceanCamper.

Brilliant little van with everything you need and fabulous flexible hosts! Literally left the van at the airport with the key in a lock box attached to the wheel for us to pick up when we landed, we dropped it off the same way when we left as our arrival and departure times were late/early. Non faff at all and no need to find transport from the airport. Would 10/10 recommend

Ocean Camper is the first choice, if you want to make a roadtrip through Portugal, especially the beautiful Algarve. The Camper includes everything you need for your roadtrip and the service is exemplary. They picked us at the airport of Faro and in the end they brought us back to the airport. We had the most amazing time with Ocean Camper in Portugal. The van was equipped with everything you need (you can even rent a guitar or other equipment). The car was really reliable and trustworthy and doesnt need a lot of fuel. Its easy to handle and the interior design ist very practical and thoughtful. The team was very friendly, helpful and easy going. We did a lot of research beforehand and there is nothing comparable in regard to price and service - definitely can recommend ocean camper!

Me and my best friend rented a van at Ocean campers in May to travel around Algarve for 5 days. Everything was definitely unforgettable. Starting from the staff, Raquel was such a sweetheart, extremely friendly and practical. She picked up at Faro, explained to us all the functioning of the van and gave us some tips for the journey as well. The check in and check out of our van was extremely fast and efficient. The van we rented as well, was perfect for two people on a journey of 5 days. Perfect size to travel around the streets of Algarve and perfectly accessorized to have everything we need, be comfortable and enjoy our holidays. I would definitely recommend Oceans camper and thanks for the amazing experience.

We booked a campervan for a couple of days to be mobile around faro. It was the smallest camper I had so far, but they used the available space perfectly. We had a small kitchen, a powerful water shower and a decent bed which was big enough for me (1.80m) and my girlfriend. The price was very affordable and fair! They explained everything you need to know about the car and even gave recommendations for places to visit. Communication was in good English and fast replying (WhatsApp as well) if you had any questions. Would recommend and rent again , thank you !

Der ganze Ablauf war sehr angenehm und unkompliziert. Der Van ist gut ausgestattet und es war prima, dass ich mir im Shop noch kostenlos Dinge aussuchen konnte, die sehr nützlich waren (Sonnenschirm, Gewürze, Kleiderbügel, Spiele, Bücher etc.). Auch die Rückgabe außerhalb der Öffnungszeiten war problemlos möglich und sehr praktisch, da ich den Van direkt am Flughafen abstellen konnte. Ich würde jederzeit wieder bei Ocean Camper buchen.

Highly recommend for an amazing experience on the roads of Algarve.

Super expérience avec Ocean Camper ! Ça vaut tous les hôtels de luxe, clairement. Pourquoi ? Parce que le service est au top du top et vous pourrez dormir dans les endroits les plus insolites et les plus isolés dans une région qui est pourtant très touristique du Portugal. De plus, pour un petit van kangoo, nous avons trouvé ça hyper confortable et très commode. Un bon matelas, une bonne couette, des oreillers, une douchette, un gaziniere, des ustensiles de vaisselles pour deux, de la place pour nos bagages etc etc L autre petit plus absolument non négligeable c est la présence de l équipe et sa réactivité pour la moindre question !! Que ça soit avant ou durant la location, ainsi que le fait de récupérer et déposer le van à n importe quelle heure à l aéroport de Faro. Vraiment tout était parfait !!!! Merci infiniment !! PS : trois petits points à améliorer selon nous : accrocher des filets (ou pochettes) sur les parois du camion afin de ranger les petites affaires d appoints (lampes, livres, affaire de toilettes etc ), mettre de bon rideaux occultants, et améliorer la qualité des oreillers. Mais tout ça ce n est pas grand chose par rapport au reste qui est top !

Un esperienza unica e indimenticabile Con un po di ritardo lasciamo anche noi la nostra recensione a Ocean Camper. Abbiamo noleggiato un van (Vagabond) nel mese di gennaio per visitare l Algarve in una settimana. Partivamo molto titubanti per le temperature, la sicurezza (era la nostra prima esperienza) e le dimensioni del mezzo (Jacopo è alto 1,8mt). Dopo una brutta esperienza in un ostello di Faro, siamo indecisi se continuare il nostro viaggio tra un ostello e l altro, impegnati nei vari check in e check out, o noleggiare un van e andare all avventura. Sapevamo solo delle compagnie più conosciute ma anche più care. Jacopo era il più dubbioso tra i due. Così, presi dallo sconforto, usciamo a fare la spesa e troviamo il volantino di Ocean Camper. Chiamiamo subito, ci risponde una ragazza gentilissima e disponibile. Fissiamo un appuntamento per la mattina seguente. Il giorno dopo ci svegliamo e raggiungiamo subito la sede vicino a Faro. Ci accolgono due ragazze molto tranquille e disponibili. Ci fanno vedere i mezzi disponibili e ci spiegano come funziona il noleggio. Ce ne innamoriamo immediatamente e decidiamo di noleggiarlo per tutta la settimana. Essendo gennaio le ragazze ci forniscono una coperta in più per proteggerci dal freddo (che non è mai stato un problema tra l altro), oltre fornirci tutto ciò che è necessario per cucinare (stoviglie, canovacci, addirittura il sale). Partiamo subito. Felicissimi. Il mezzo-Vagabond è molto pulito e confortevole, diventa subito la nostra tana. L esperienza è stata bellissima, nessun pericolo, nessuna difficoltà a guidare il mezzo o con Ocean Camper. Tutto chiaro sin dall inizio: caparra fermata, restituire il mezzo con il pieno, pagamento a fine vacanza di acqua consumata e bombolette del gas per cucinare. Tutto è filato liscio come ci si augura all inizio di una vacanza. Nessun costo nascosto, nessuna cosa omessa. Tutto alla luce del sole. E per noi è stata una delle vacanze più belle della nostra vita. Dormire vicino a delle spiagge bellissime. Svegliarsi per vedere l alba. La libertà di andare ovunque si voglia. E.. letto comodissimo con nostra grande sorpresa. Per me era uno dei sogni nel cassetto, che si è realizzo nel migliore dei modi. Con la mia dolce metà, in uno dei posti più belli che ci siano, l Algarve, a bordo di questo bellissimo van rosso.

Nous avons loué un van chez Ocean Camper pour 5 jours en Juin. Cette location nous a permis de visiter lAlgarve (surtout Faro, Albufeira, Benagil, Lagos, Lagoa) avec tous les équipements nécessaires. Il nous a été facile de trouver des endroits où dormir (nature ou camping) et de rejoindre les plus belles plages de la région. Ocean Camper nous a permis de réaliser notre première expérience en van, qui a été superbe. Le van est idéal pour de jeunes débutants. Léquipe a été très sympathique, réactive et agréable. Il noleggio di questo van è stata la scelta più azzeccata per girare lAlgarve in una settimana, in quanto ci ha consentito di spostarci liberamente e in totale comodità. È la prima volta che facciamo unesperienza simile, ma lattrezzatura e i confort presenti sul van ci hanno consentito di viverla al meglio. Ocean Camper ci ha dato indicazioni sui posti da vedere e fornito informazioni sempre puntuali e precise. Personale gentilissimo e kangoo maxi super: ci siamo affezionati!

Ocean Camper deserves 6 stars :) Its the perfect way to explore Algarve, and my only complaint is that they are not yet all over Portugal! ;) Their vans are wonderfully equipped; they have really thought of all your needs when you travel and you can rent all kinds of extras to make the adventure more customized to your liking. My husband and I are not avid campers and it was our first time sleeping in a van, and we found the experience very positive. Their staff are helpful, cooperative, and flexible, and will give you a good explanation of the van and surroundings before you drive off. A wonderful experience, I would love to do it again!

I had such a fantastic experience with Ocean Campers. From the very beginning they were easy to communicate with and answered all my (silly) questions. The vans are safe, reliable and super easy to use which was important to me as a solo traveller. The cost is reasonable in comparison to larger companies. Overall had such a great time and will be hiring from them again!

100% recommended. They picked us up in Faro city and it was super easy to get the campervan and start out trip. The van was perfect and super comfy to sleep, with lots of handy adjustments to cook/store our stuff. Drop off was even easier as we had a very early flight and we were able to self-check out at the airport!

Although the tent had some minor damages (like a broken zip), we had a great time camping in Algarve. Everything went smoothly. The crew is very nice and a tent is magical! If you have no experience in camping, dont worry. You can set it up in 30 seconds and tear it back in a minute. The only thing that I would add to the tent equipment is a solar lamp.

Excellent week in our Van (1 electric and 1 normal: diesel) Only happiness with unique and indescribable spots. I highly recommend it!

Magnifique première expérience en Van avec Ocean Camper. Van modele « Vagabond » équipé avec tout ce qu il faut pour quelques jours. Nous avons très bien dormi et voyagé avec lui. Le personnel est très accueillant et arrangeant pour nous récupérer/déposer lors de l arrivée et départ. De supers souvenirs dans cette belle région!

I took the Van with two batteries for 4 nights. The staff are very friendly and uncomplicated. The vans are done nicely and are extremely practical. The fuel consumption is also quite low. This is the place to go to if you want to explore Portugal in a small van Its a small company and you can tell that they really put their heart into this. Lets hope this wont change once they get bigger I have one suggestion: Put a folding shovel in every van, and urge people to use it when there are no toilets available. There is too much waste lying around in the Algarve.

Tolle Camper in Portugal. Pickup und Transport zum Flughafen. Die Camper sind toll ausgebaut. Das ist breit und bietet locker Platz für zwei Personen. In meinem Camper war eine zweite Batterie verbaut, wodurch ich auf der Reise mit Strom versorgt war. Küche mit Kochfeld und Kochutensilien vorhanden. Großer 150L Wassertank verbaut. Empfehlung geht raus.

Highly recommendable. It was my first experience with a camper and these guys will certainly be my place to go any time I can do that again. All I can say is that they are so professional and very communicative. A team anyone can rely on. I had the pleasure to go with the new Vagabond camper and had no issues whatsoever. I had to extend my rental an extra day and they provide all the flexibility not just with my return but also helping me with transportation from/to the airport. Their office by the way is so close and conveniently located, next to FAO airport. Thumbs up.

Wir hatten einen kleinen Camper mit allem was wir auf unserem zweiwöchigen Roadtrip gebraucht haben (ausziehbare Küchenzeile, Wassertank, USB-Ladestation, Campingtisch und -stühle, bequemes Bett, Handtücher uvm.) - hatten keinerlei Probleme Plätze für die Nacht zu finden und waren total flexibel unterwegs. Surfboard konnte auch direkt dort geliehen werden. Außerdem cooles, junges Team bei der Vermietung :) Dinge, die von Mietern nicht mehr ver- oder gebraucht (u.a. Lebensmittel, Bücher, Spiele, usw.) werden den anderen Mietern zur Verfügung gestellt. Vielen Dank dafür! :)

We have rented a campervan from Ocean Camper last April and it was a WONDERFUL experience! The van is very comfortable and easy to drive, its well equipped with everything you need to cook, sleep well and have a great time around in Portugal. The staff is super friendly and helpful for all the information, they gave us also great tips on where to park for night, they also arranged a pick up and drop off for free from the train station in Faro. Nous sommes ravis de notre sejour en Algarve grâce à Ocean Camper ! Cetait notre premier voyage en van ammenagé et nous avons été conquis, cest le moyen idéal pour découvrir la région et ses spots de surf. Le van est très confortable, très fonctionnel et passe-partout. Le personnel est également arrangeant (navette depuis et vers le centre de Faro au début et a la fin du sejour) et très sympa. I rented a campervan from ocean camper for a week in April. It was a great experience, the staff were really nice and helpful, and the camper was exactly as described and ideal for a trip for two people. We had never driven a campervan before and it was the ideal first experience because the vans are small and easy to drive. Totally recommend it!

Our 5 days-4 nights with Ocean Camper was amazing. The team is really nice and helpful, explains everything from how to use the van to places to visit. The vagabond van has everything you need for 2 persons (bed, little kitchen, fridge, outdoor shower etc). Its very easy to drive with. We enjoyed a lot our roadtrip in Algarve in this van and recommend it 100 % !!

My girlfriend and I rented the Vagabond camper for 8 days. Even before we picked up the camper we were so impressed with Cecilia. Knowing our flight landed before check-in she offered to pick us up in Faro when our van was ready. Cecilia was so friendly and professional with all of our questions and gave us so much helpful information about where to go and how best to get there. The camper was great, simple to drive, fantastic fuel economy and covered all our basic needs. We would recommend it to anyone :)

We had a great experience with Ocean Campers! We rented the most basic model, the Atlantic, but it had everything we needed for an amazing 4 day roadtrip throughout the Algarve. Nina and Gustavo were both very helpful and accommodating and made the check in and rental process easy. No hidden fees or extra costs and everything was very straightforward. The van is perfect for 2 people and is much smaller than most other traditional camper vans which made navigating the small streets easy. It also got much better gas mileage which was great! Not to mention the van rental itself was far cheaper than any other company we found. I highly recommend renting from ocean campers!

Großartiges Erlebnis! Von der Abholung am Strand bis zum Check Out war alles wunderbar. Nina und ihr Team sind super hilfsbereit und standen während der gesamten Tour für Fragen bereit. Wir bekamen direkt zu Beginn eine Einführung in die Camping Gepflogenheiten und die schönsten Strände in der Algarve und konnten so bestens vorbereitet in eine wirklich aufregende Woche starten. Der Camper ist top ausgestattet, wir hatten alles was wir brauchten. Vielen Dank, sehr gerne wieder!

What a great experience! We rented a tent for exploring the Algarve three nights and we would definitely repeat with them. They provided us with everything we could need (you can also ask for the things the previous campers left so you can save a bit) Even with a small car we could fit everything. We had a great experience with Ocean Camper!! We rented the Atlantic which was the perfect size for our trip through the Algarve and up to Lisbon. It was big enough to live in but also small enough to navigate so we werent trying to drive a massive motorhome through some of the smaller streets of Portugal! It came with all the essentials which made our trip so much easier so we didnt have to sort cutlery or worry about where we could shower. The service was super friendly and informative, giving us all the details we needed before arriving and helping with a smooth handover at the end! Would 100% recommend them to anyone :)

Tolle Firma und wunderschöner Urlaub ! Der Camper (wir hatten den Vagabund) bietet alles was man benötigt um an vielen Orten zu stehen. Außerdem ist der Camper klein genug um durch etliche Straßen zu kommen und auch ein bisschen Offroad (Feldwege und holprige Straßen) zu fahren. Die Mitarbeitenden sind sehr sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit! Preis Leistung stimmen vollkommen ! Wer etwas größer ist sollte allerdings einen größeren Van mieten, da die Höhe etwas limitiert ist. Wir würden noch eine Wäscheleine empfehlen aber das ist alles was wir an Kritik haben. Das war unser erster Camper Trip überhaupt und es hätte nicht schöner sein können ! Wegen Stellplätzen muss man sich auch keine Gedanken machen , das Team hilft jederzeit und schickt euch genug Tipps und Apps für einen tollen unvergesslichen Urlaub !

We rented the eNomad (electric /automatic campervan) and we really enjoyed it. Checking in was easy. We got picked up from the airport and brought to the shop to get our van. All necessities were inside. Everything was very clean. We parked at a campground during two nights and the last night we parked near the airport because we had an early flight. I recommend downloading park4night while searching for a campground. All in all, very satisfied! We highly recommend it!

Wir hatten ein paar sehr schöne Tage mit dem Camper in der Algarve. Camper hat alles was man für einen Roadtrip braucht und ist super ausgestattet. Team ist sehr hilfsbereit, freundlich, immer erreichbar und haben uns viele Tipps gegeben. Mit Abholung am Bahnhof und am Abreisetag wurden wir auch wieder zurück gebracht. Sehr zu empfehlen!! Wir kommen definitiv nochmal wieder :)

Amazing experience! The van is in great shape, it has everything you need, well organized, clean and aestetic. At first I was a bit worried if it was large enough for me (Im 205 cm tall) and surprisingly it was. :) Team is extremely friendly. They provide you with all the tips and extras you need, they help you customizing your wishes and they even werent mad when we arrived slightly late ;) And what suprised me the most is the friendly attitude of the company. They are not greedy in any way (which is very rare nowadays). The offer is by far the cheapest you can find in the area and yet they keep standards extremely high. You can even pick a bunch of free extras which would normally be charged. Absolutely amazing! Highly recommended.

We Booked a van for four night and then asked for more! These van are perfect for exploring Algarve. We had everything we needed to cook pasta, salads and bbq-ing right in front of the ocean! We were given a lot of extra stuff for free to enjoy the beach and our time in general (beach umbrella, inflatable mattress, rackets, etc...). I couldn t recommend their vans enough. Ocean campers vans were extremely comfortable, clean and well equipped. They were easy to drive and park. The kitchen was fully stocked, all bedding/towels provided. We were provided with sports equipment and sun umbrellas included. Check in/out was flexible with transfers to and from the airport. Nina and team were excellent, very helpful and kind. Fantastic experience with Ocean Camper! Our small car/van was absolutely perfect for travelling along the coast for a few days. We saw a lot of Portugal in a small amount of time, and this providing us with the perfect way to do so. Hat alles super geklappt. Wir hatten den Elektro Van. Nachdem wir verstanden haben, wie das mit dem Aufladen am Supermarkt funktioniert, war es kein Problem mehr. Wir waren zu dritt und haben nicht im Van geschlafen. Zum Transport der Surfbretter, zum Abduschen der Füße, zum Kühlen der Getränke, zum Mittagessen draußen und zum Ausruhen war das Fahrzeug ideal für uns. Die verschiedenen Ladekabel nehmen leider viel Platz weg. Eine Wäscheleine und ein Kehrbesen wären super gewesen.

This is the second time I ve hired from ocean camper. The first time I hired a tent and this time a Van. The whole process from booking to pick up was easy. We had a early flight home And they let us do a contactLess check out by leaving the van at the airport. The team were really friendly and helpful. The van was well equipped meaning my friend and I could travel with just hand luggage. The fridge was great for keeping the beers cold. I will hire from them again and recommend!

Hat alles mega funktioniert. Wir waren zu zweit 16 Tage in einem Kangoo Maxi unterwegs und hatten viel spaß. Der Service war gut sogar noch mit einer kleinen Tour Beratung was sich lohnt und was nicht. Das Auto war von außen etwas lädiert aber von innen in top Zustand ,alles am Auto war funktionstüchtig. Wir würden es noch einmal buchen dann aber mit surfaustüstung Sehr zu empfehlen

We were simply blown away by the kindness and service provided by the ocean camper team. They are available 24/7, the check-in and -out are as easy as can be and we even received tips for our route and camping in general. The car has everything you can wish for on a road trip, despite being so compact and easy to drive. I dont think there is a better way of exploring the Algarve region than by going in this little van. Would recommend doing this to anybody and everybody, especially if you like to travel independently and want to stay away from the very mainstream touristy spots. Absolut empfehlenswert!! Wir haben den Van für 5 Tage gemietet und sind sehr zufrieden und glücklich. Zusätzlich dazu haben wir zwei Surfboards und Neos ausgeliehen. Der Van ist mit allem ausgestattet, was wir brauchten. Die ausziehbare Küche und der kleine Kühlschrank waren sehr hilfreich und für 2 Personen gut geeignet. Wir sind die Küste abgefahren und haben auf Campingplätzen geschlafen. Der beste Campingplatz war übrigens der in Salema (Eco Camp Salema) zwischen Lagos und Sagres. Emilia war super nett und zuvorkommend. Wir konnten schon morgens in den Camper und sie hat uns in Faro abgeholt. Sie hat uns alles erklärt und wir konnten sie jederzeit ansprechen. Wir kommen gerne wieder :)

I booked a van with Nina for June. Unfortunately our trip was cancelled due to the sudden addition of Portugal to the Amber list, so we didn t get to see the van or meet Nina. But I was very impressed with her prompt and friendly replying, flexibility, and helpfulness. The vans look beautiful and are incredibly good value, and I hope I can to use one another time!

Very friendly customer service! Due to COVID travel restrictions we were not able to travel to Portugal and do the roadtrip but the company refunded the money immediately.

My wife and I were renting the Vagabond camper. The van is built very thoughtfully and is easy to drive and operate. The non branded van allows you to camp wild or on parking lots where it is actually not allowed to camp. We got lots of information from Ocean Camper before our trip. They also picked us up from the airport and gave us a ride back to the airport for departure. Ocean Camper is planning to upgrade their fleet with bigger vans for more than two people. We are looking forward to that and a new adventure in Portugal as a little family. Actually we wanted to stay for 3 weeks in Portugal. But because of COVID and the Delta mutation we had to leave the country nearly two weeks earlier. Nina, the owner of Ocean Camper, agreed on a refund for the days we had to leave earlier, even though she didn t have to. That is a costumer friendly, honorable and honest way of running a business. We were very pleased with Ocean Camper and would recommend it without any doubt.

Emilia and Nina were super friendly and relaxed. The car was well equipped and we could go from beach to beach with the surfboards. They also made sure that our trip was smooth before, throughout and after the rental. All in all, we enjoyed traveling with ocean camper. Charlotte & Noe

Beyond happy with how good the service was! In conclusion: Ocean Camper reacted very fast, was really friendly and made us feel welcome! The van was also really nice! Definitely recommendable! *** Within 5 minutes after arriving at the airport we were picked up! ++ After that, we did the check in where we discovered that for the surf rental there was only one board of 7 while we wanted two boards of that size. Me and Emilia looked for a solution together and eventually that became Ocean Camper getting a new surfboard that we could pick up the next day in the morning. Quickly handled and very neat! ++ The day of the check out was very relaxed: after texting with Emilia from Ocean Camper we could check out later then the original time! ++ During the check out we forgot to take our purchased ceramics out of the van (we put it for safety/non-break reasons in between the blankets... a spot where you cant see it). Emilia already dropped us off in the city center of Faro, when we discovered that we forgot to take it out! I immediately called Emilia after the drop off and she brought the goods as fast as she could... again... really great service! ++ Also quite important ;) The van itself was also really nice! Very easy to drive and it had all the basics we needed. The shower was great for a quick rinse after a surf session. The cooler worked like a charm in combination with some ice, we where perplexed! The kitchen was perfect for.. well cooking! We where very happy! *** Our only (potential) point of critique: the sleeping place was very cosy and comfy (its something that comes with vanlife), but in this vans case is may be not very suitable if you are a really tall person. It was no problem for us as we fit in precisely but I can imagine that its not suitable for everyone (as Im 1,60 m) Overall: 10/10 would recommend, it was very great! Lots of love from Holland!

De camper is geweldig, goed geïsoleerd (je wordt niet de camper uitgebrand), de uitschuifbare keuken met gaspit en koelkast werkt top. Heerlijk buiten koken. Goede airco en de bus rijdt fantastisch. Het team is ontzettend beleefd en behulpzaam! Een echte aanrader, ik kom graag terug.

I had the best vacation ever with my vagabond! be it at the 6.45am morning surf, supplying me with coffee, or the lunch time nap, giving me a comfortable place to rest before driving off to the next beach. equipped with all camping gear you can imagine, I could easily travel with only hand luggage and safe money on the flights, while even being picked up at and brought back to the airport for free. And if that all wouldn t be enough already, the staff is the sweetest, most uncomplicated I have ever encountered. I can nothing but recommend this perfect way of traveling around portugal! <3

Perfect travel with Campervan. The team is so nice, they picked us up at the airport and drop us off at the hostel we were staying for one night more. Emilia is very kind and she gave us all the information we need for a nice 5 days journey in the Kangoo van. It was fully equipped, even with a big water container, a shower and a battery to charge our phones. No more words needed : Perfect!

We had such a great experience with Ocean Camper in Faro. We rented the car for only two nights, but it was our big dream to try this camper van once in our life, so we enjoyed it soo much for this three days. The van is very well equiped with own kitchen/grill, fridge, plates, cups, mugs etc. The bed linen was clean and comfortable. It had USB to charge our electrical stuff. The van has a small window on the top so you can still have fresh air during the night without leaving the doors opened. No mosquitos at all, as the rooftop window has a net. The staff was very friendly, helpful and ready to give answers for all of our questions. Highly recommended! :) Bianka & George

We booked a car and already left a deposit there but in the end we were not able to travel because of covid. So i wrote oceancamper an e-mail in which i explained the situation and they texted me back without hestitation and told me to retransfer the money of the deposit back. After a long time and no response to my e-mails in which i reminded them to please transfer the money back, i made a call and asked again for the retransfer. I got the money back within a few minutes but got no apology or further explanation. Unlucky situation because the communication and the staff was acutally very friendly, but that kind of situation makes an untrustworthy impression. Good luck anyway for the future.

One of the best ways to discover a beautiful country. Nina is super helpfull and the vans are very cute! Sadly, the law changed in March 2021 -> wildcamping is forbidden in certain regions. So always doublecheck park4night before you fall in love with a place.

I would highly recommend this company if you want to rent a car and get lost in a beauty of Portugal. Me and my girlfriend rented out a vagabond van for 4 days and explored beaches and places. Emilia texted us 1 day prior to arrival with all the info we needed + they picked us from the city and dropped us back in the city after our trip what we found very helpful as an extra service. When we arrived there we checked the car together and Emilia explained us how everything works and answered all our questions. Then she sent us links regarding camping rules in Portugal and camps where we could stay overnight. I day before check-out I received a message about check-out process so we had enough time to prepare everything. They are always available on WhatsApp or phone in case you need. The car is made in a very practical way for everyday use whether its a kitchen or shower. Overall I am very satisfied with a level of service and professionalism from their side and will use this company next time for sure!

We travelled around the Algarve and Alentejo with the Vagabond Campervan for a month (mid September - mid October) and it was just perfect. The van is large enough to sleep in, and small enough to drive you anywhere, from old towns to the mountains, the van will get you there. The van is also well equipped with an outdoor kitchen, fridge, shower and comfortable bed (and much more, see their website for details). If something was unclear or not working properly during our trip, we immediately received adequate support over whatsapp. Ocean Campers is a small, Portugese company and you feel that: they run the business with love and dedication. We d absolutely recommend renting this van if you like a comfortable adventure.

We had an amazing time exploring with our Ocean Camper van!! It was the perfect size for our boards, bags and groceries. We had the best time in our ocean camper, it had the perfect size and includes all that we needed, from warm bedding, an outside shower and a fridge to biodegradable dishwashing liquid and shampoo. Me and my husband were planning the trip for late July 2020. After reading a lot of great reviews about OceanCamper we decided to book a campervan with them. The communication was great and Nina was helpful and always replying all our question. Unfortunately our flight got canceled (COVID or low loads, they did not inform us). So we had to cancel our booking with OceanCamper too (on a very short notice, 72 hours prior to check-in). We received full reservation payment back. So even though we did not use the service, we still liked the communication, we appreciate that we got our reservation payment back and we defenetly will book with OcenCamper next time when we can come to Faro

Rented a van for a week from Nina. Was not disappointed. Nina communicated really well from booking up to pick up, on pick up she gave us lots of useful hints and tips for the must see in the algarve and also some guidance to suit our specific needs. The van was spotless, had everything we needed and we couldn t complain about anything. The only thing we regretted was no hiring an SUP board from her as this would of saved us hiring them from around the algarve. Fuel consumption was magnificent too. Only needed to fill up to return, we travelled the whole algarve on one tank. Loved the shower, the fridge, the cute bed time lights. Bed was comfy and we slept well every night! Nina was really helpful, running us into the town after check out and allowing us to leave our bags and pick them up just before going to the airport. We absolutely loved our trip and we were both very pleased that we rented the van from Nina, there is a lot of love in that company and we look forward to more adventures from Ocean Campers!

I rented a van with my girlfriend to travel across the coast of portugal, we spent 5 nights and we were surprised with its facilities. The van had everything we needed to be completely comfortable. In addition it was very warm during the night and cool during the days so we could take some well deserved naps. We really appreciated the help and kindness we received from Nina. In conclusion it was a wonderful trip and we highly recommend it!!

Fully equipped and ready to go, it offered us everything we needed for a memorable experience! During a few days, Kangoo led us through the most beautiful places and landscapes of the southern and western coast of Algarve. The car is very comfortable and easy to drive. Also, we really enjoyed the multifunctionality and the design of the van. Basically, everything we needed to add was our toothbrush and a great traveling partner, of course. Bedroom, terrace, kitchen, living room, shower, stargazing point Ocean Camper can do them all. Nina, the owner, is an amazing person, very helpful, kind, and enthusiastic. You can see from afar that she loves what she does, she s really passionate about her business. Her advice regarding the landmarks, the camping spots, the activities, and the secret beaches was very useful. And she was always available if we needed any help. We are really glad and grateful that we met her! Our experience was spiced up with the guitar and the rented SUP (stand-up paddle) which was a perfect way to explore the caves. Nature, silence, a little bit of adrenaline, music around the bonfires and a cool tiny home what could you wish for more? We are very grateful for this whole inspiring experience and we will always remember it!

I rented a van for approximately a week in August and it was fantastic. The van was extremely well equipped for its size, and with the exception of some minor problems with the fridge, the van worked brilliantly. The staff were helpful and gave me plenty of pointers on places to visit and things to see and several tips in where to stay. If youre thinking of exploring Portugal, this really is the way to do it. The freedom that comes with having your own hotel in the back is fantastic.

Me and my girlfriend were able to book an older Vans (Kangoo Maxi 2011) but that didnt affected our trip in any way. Its a small company runned by a lovely couple. Nina was very kind and helpfull. Major positive point is that the Van is equiped with everything you need to camp and that free of charge, contrary to most other campervan rentals where you need to pay extra for basic stuff. We were also picked up and dropped off free of charge in the centre of Faro. The van was very cosy and is designed in a very functional way. The vans might be smaller but it invites you to chill outside! Very nice first Van experience. I recommend OceanCamper to everyone who likes camping the old school way!

Weve had such an amazing time roaming Algarve beautiful coast with our house on the wheels. Nina is an amazing host and all of her stuff was very friendly, helpful and professional. Weve really enjoyed the size of the campervan as it gave us a possibility to drive and park on little off the track hidden parking spots where big campervan cannot go. There was everything you need for preparing your breakfast and a BBQ for our dinner. Fridge, outdoor shower, USB ports, and magical fairy lights inside. The campervan was aslo very economic on fuel and incredibly easy to drive. Ill definitely recommend Ocean Campers for your trip in Portugal

Nina is a very nice and helping host. The van has everything you need, the outdoor shower is the great bonus (even the big fancy vans dont have it!) and it is very convenient that the car is small: you can park anywhere and no one knows youre sleeping in :)

The van is super well equipped, there is a normal size double bed (comfy mattress), there is an outdoor shower, a fridge, a gas stove, and all the kitchen tools you need. They also provide towels and all bedding supplies. The car was in excellent condition, very easy to drive. The checkout was super fast. I recommend 100% !!!

Amazing service! The renter is a very friendly woman who picked us up from and droped us at the airport for free. She also gave us thorough local recommendations for places to visit which helped us a lot. We rented a van which had everything you need: shower, towels, fridge, gas cooker, french coffee maker, BBQ and all the cutlery you need. There is even a big, cozy blanket which keeps you warm enough even if you decide to rent a van in December. Would definitely recommend this rental place to anyone!

Great service, they really go out of their way to give you the best solutions. The van was very cozy and it was clear that it was being checked regularily and worked very well. Very professional, but still a lot of personality. It was really nice that the van didnt have any stickers or ads on the outside, it felt more like home and it was easier to blend in. This is also one of very few companies who rent to people under 25, wich was perfect for us. Also if something happens out on the road, oceancampers are very quick to pick up the phone and help you out were super happy!

Nina met us at the airport and we picked up our T4 camper van from Ocean camper.,and we were on the road within 20 mins. Nina was so helpful and the van had everything we needed for a weeks wild camping, with surf boards packed we headed off to Sagres and worked our way up the coast.The weather was hot and we had 5 day of great surf, We dropped the camper back on our last day and spent some time in Faro which is very beautiful, then back to Nina who very kindly gave us a lift to the airport with our boards. Nina s Ocean Campers have everything that you need if you are planning on living the best van-trip of your life alongside breathtaking views of Algarve s coast. In the van you can find all of the necessary things that you need during camping and staying on the beach. Everything was perfectly cleaned and packed so that was still a lot of space. You can have a romantic dinner thanks to a folding table and chairs, portable gas stove and also a little freezer to keep your things cold which you will really appreciate because the sun in algarve is crazy! The van itself drives smoothly, the size of it may be a little bit intimidating for a someone who have never driven a van before, but trust me - 5 minuts on the road and you won t feel a difrence from any other car, so I m definitely recommending these vans and for sure will be back! Nous ne pensions pas être aussi bien équipé de la tente avec coussin et couverture douillet, à un ensemble de cuisine complet ainsi quun petit jeu de société. Tout était parfait (fonctionnel, propre et bien entretenu)! De plus Nina est une personne très attentionnée et serviable qui a répondu à toutes nos questions, et qui a même pris le temps de nous fournir une carte de la région en nous indiquant les plus beaux endroit a visiter en fonction de nos critères. We had a great time staying in an Ocean Camper van. Nina was really helpful and I would definitely recommend this for exploring Portugal.

Wir haben uns für 10 Tage ein komplettes Campingset gemietet. Zum Start wurden wir super nett begrüßt und nach einem kurzen Gespräch, bei dem uns auch Tipps zu Campingplätzen und schönen Stränden gegeben wurden, konnte es auch schon losgehen. Der bürokratische Aufwand war gleich null, was wir als sehr angenehm empfanden. Unterm Strich waren wir rundum zufrieden und würden garantiert wieder bei Ocean Camper buchen. Nina, vielen Dank, auch für das nette Miteinander!

Highly recommend if you re considering a relaxed, authentic and adventurous trip in Portugal. Ninas campervans are perfect. New, modern and kitted out with everything you could possibly need, from a shower to a fridge. Not to mention the lovely little touches shes added. We opted to have the portable wifi which was great for using google maps along the way. I would definitely recommend Ocean Campers to family and friends and will use them again when we return to Portugal.

We had an awesome time in Ninas campervans. Pick up was really easy with Nina luckily able to come and meet us at the airport, same with drop off. The vans were fairly priced and well kitted out. The little thoughtful touches we what really made it. Any issues that we had, Nina was really helpful and understanding with. Id definitely do another, longer roadtrip with Ocean Campers again.

I have rented the tent camping equipment from Ocean campers. The whole booking process was easy and the payment also. The place is next to the Airport so you can plan you can start your trip directly after arrival in Faro. When arriving we got a really warm welcome from Nina and she gave a couple of really important tips and places to go and she dedicated almost half an hour of her time just to let us know about Algarve. The tent were really good and high quality, during six days of travelling with tent and equipments, we did not have a problem or felt that we are missing something. The company thought about every small detail that could be important in a long camping trip. I had so much fun in Algarve and Ocean Camper helped me to have an affordable means of accommodation and mobility. I would recommend it to any camping enthusiast and even inexperienced ones as they could have all what they need in 3 little bags. Thanks a lot for an amazing experience.

Experience with Ocean campers for me and my friends was amazing. We rented the camping equipments for 4 days and Nina gave us more than expected. She gave us every basic thing that would make our stay comfortable while camping. We literally had to keep some of the things back since we were left with no place in the car. Nina was very informative and gave us perfect suggestions to camp at secluded places..we are definitely hiring a camping van from ocean campers next time.

I was very happy to find it is possible to rent camping equipment to discover the beautiful Algarve. Nina was super helpful, gave tips about the region and camp sites, everything was ready for us when we arrived and communication (arranging pick up and drop off) was very good and uncomplicated. Can only recommend!

Im so glad we chose to rent a campervan from Nina. Shes done a really nice job of fitting out the Kangoos which made our trip very comfortable and enjoyable! Along with the Kangoo, we rented surfboards and wetsuits from her. You can tell Nina really cares about the experiences of her guests by the attention to detail in the campervans and the time she takes to provide local suggestions. OceanCampers are definitely my number 1 suggestion for anyone looking for a campervan in the Algarve.

Super organisiert und sympathisch. Wir hatten für 7 Tage einen Camper mit Surfausrüstung gemietet. Wir wurden direkt am Flughafen abgeholt und direkt eingewiesen. Nach einer halben Stunde waren wir unterwegs und hatten eine wunderschöne Woche. Danach konnten wir den Camper einfach in Flughafennähe parken und abreisen. Der Camper war perfekt für den Urlaub organisiert und eingerichtet

Wir hatten eine super tolle Zeit in Portugal mit dem Campervan. Die Besitzerin ist super nett, immer erreichbar und hat uns vom Flughafen abgeholt. Der Camper hat wirklich alles was man braucht und noch weitere tolle Extras, wie die Solarlichterkette. Ich empfehle wirklich ein Surfbrett zu buchen. Günstiger bekommt man es nirgendwo gemietet. Danke für die wunderschöne Zeit die wir dank deinem Camper hatten.

Nina is very helpfull and polite. The campervan was well equiped with everything you need to have a marvelous holiday! The van is easy to ride and to park on all the beautiful spots (this is hard with the bigger campervans). We had a great time!

Très bonne expérience avec le van de Nina. Elle a pensé à tout, nous navons eu besoin de rien amener mis à part nos vêtements. Nina est adorable, elle est venue nous récupérer à laéroport et nous y a déposer au retour. Elle nous a donné plein de petites adresses supers. Nous avons passé une excellente semaine grâce à Nina !

Der Camper war für unsere Zwecke mehr als ausreichend und lässt sich auch super fahren. Nina ist super freundlich und bemüht sich sehr, den besten Service zu bieten. Und das schafft sie echt gut. Außerdem ist sie rund um die Uhr erreichbar, falls mal was sein sollte. Es gibt sehr viel Material, dass man sich ausleihen, kann. Vieles ist schon dabei und auch gratis. Der Pick up und Drop off nach der Miete war ebenfalls im Preis mit inbegriffen. Zwar ist der Preis relativ hoch, aber das kompensiert sich z.B. wieder mit den Spritkosten, denn der Flitzer ist echt sparsam. Wir sind damit 12 Tage in Portugal rumgefahren, bis Sines hinauf und mussten am Ende nur einmal voll tanken, was gerade mal 70 gekostet hat. Wir würden diese einzigartige Erfahrung echt jedem weiterempfehlen!

I have been to Portugal a few times but only stayed in hotels. The campers was a whole new experience! Got to see so much of the coast I never seen before with camping under the stars. I have recommended so many if there going to get ocean campers it was a chill fun holiday that I wouldn t definitely be doing again! And Nina was brilliant! Getting the camper was fast and so straight forward and very layer back. Nina also showed us some great sports to wild camp at that just added to the whole experience!!

We rented the tent from Ocean Camper for 11days. It was such a great experience to roam around the Portugal with the tent. Fortunately we had very nice person to rent the rent from Ocena camper. And her name is Nina.. very helpful supportive and friendly. I highly recommend ocean Campers and for sure next time I visit them again.

Best experience ever thanks to Nina! We rented the Nomad Kangoo and it was perfect. We managed to drive everywhere. The van was fully equipped and really easy to drive. Moreover Nina is really friendly and accommodating. She even dropped us at the airport. I would definitely do it again and I recommend Ocean Camper!

It was a pleasure to hire one of the nice and cosy camper vans of Ocean Camper. The owner is very friendly and helpful. She was always able to answer our questions and giving tips for nice places to stay during the night.The van has everything inside you need for a nice roadtrip. We drove really easy and comfortable around the south of Portugal. We definitely would hire this van again and recommend Ocean Camper to everyone who is in for a bit of adventure!

Really beautiful friendly tiny home on wheels made by a lovely and friendly owner perfect for a road trip. Its totally fully equiped so that you enjoy it without any problem. We spent more than 2 weeks on road and we would love to continue much longer with our oceanvancamper. :)

Wir hatten tolle Tage in Faro und Umgebung. Der Camper ist mit allem ausgestattet was man so braucht. Nina hat uns direkt vom Flughafen abgeholt und am Abreisetag auch wieder dort hin gebracht, sie ist super sympathisch, hat uns tolle Tipps gegeben und bei Fragen war sie immer erreichbar. My girlfriend and I had a great time renting a van from Nina at Ocean Camper. We got to see a lot of great places in our little room on wheels. I would recommend this for people who enjoy camping in general.

We rented a van last summer and it was magic. We drove an old school van from the west to the east coast from beaches to other beaches. It is one of the best trips ever thanks to Nina, the owner of ocean camper. At first we chose her because of her good comments online. For real she is the best. She is so young but so smart. She created this company thinking about everything to make your trip confortable. We recommend Nina and her vans a thousand times. Go for it and the region is beautiful!

It was my first time camping and renting the equipment was essential for having a great experience. Just got back from a trip to the Algarve,rented a van from Nina which was excellent,has everything you need, great for a surf trip if you want to do a bit of exploring,Nina was very helpful and will be going back this year for sure

Besides that the host of Ocean Camper is incredibly nice, the van was really clean and easy to drive. We traveled in December so it was already cold outside, but the insulation is really good and the van had a super nice warm blanket. I loved the fact that the vans are so well equipped with inventful and thoughtful touches like the nice lights in the back of the van. Would definitely go again with Ocean Camper! Hopefully soon :)
