Very scary experience that felt like a complete scam. We were hit with a surprise €40 extra just to pick up the car that she angrily demanded be paid in cash. Wouldn’t let us pay it on card, had to be cash “because she stayed late” after having made us wait for an hour in arrivals. Felt completely mugged off and lots of extortionate extra fees too for tolls, insurance etc. I warn you all to STAY AWAY
Do not book with this company! At the beginning I felt like I had stepped into a scam trap. In the high season, when the rental prices are already very overpriced, I was told about further additional costs. The lady was extremely incompetent and very demanding. Not a service-oriented company! I will remember this rental forever, unfortunately in a very negative sense. Normally I am not a person who writes bad reviews, but in this case I would like to warn others against doing so. I was all the more pleased when I rented a car from the competitor a month later (I am in Portugal for a longer period of time) and was amazed at how incredibly uncomplicated and friendly everything was handled.
So awful, left us waiting for an hour at arrivals and claimed we were late even though we provided our flight number. The woman who showed up was really angry and then revealed lots of hidden fees. She also tried to make us get out €40 cash to give to her because we were late? A really horrible start to the holiday
Charged me 40 euros because I picked the car up at the airport at 13:55, their lunch hour. Charged me another 40 euros because I had to drop the car off at 4:00, outside of their business hours. The drop-off consisted of leaving the car in the Faro Airport. It's not like someone needed to meet me. The radio didn't work, and there was no antenna. When we were checking the car out, I pointed it out to the guy, and he brushed me off. Horrible company. Stay away
