I’m normally don’t leave reviews, but this time I have to . Collecting from airport top class , also regarding the car it was clean , almost new and with full tank of fuel. Don’t want to say much, but the actual person in office will know what I’m talking about “fiat 500 convertible” our kids really enjoyed thank you so much for going extra mile to make a customer happy.

Complete red flag: - say debit cards cannot block deposit so you have to pay full coverage insurance which is itself more expensive than rental - force you to pay for the fuel promising return this back when you deliver the car - force you to pay for tolls fee that also should be returned. Overall my rental was 40 euros and they tried to force me pay 45+90+100 more. I refused, next time I would be picking up something at the airport. You can get an Uber from here and it’s quite cheap.
Bit of treck to the pickup point at the airport, but it's the same for all off airport car hire companies. The transfer van takes about 30 minutes to go round so pot luck how long you have to wait, plus there wasn't room for our group 1st time round. Once at the car hire place sorting the paperwork was quick and the staff efficient. We booked through an agent, jet2, who told us about the $1600 hold on your credit card, but not the fuel and toll road charges, $128 plus $100. These were refunded after the car was returned with a full petrol tank. It took 2 days for the 1st and 2 weeks for the latter as they have to wait for the toll data. The car came with a few scuffs and scratches which were all detailed on the form so there were no issues when it was returned. The return process was very quick.
I recently had the pleasure of renting a car from Centauro at Faro Airport and I must say, their service exceeded my expectations. From start to finish, every member of staff I encountered was professional, friendly, and incredibly helpful. Our flight was delayed due to a broken seal on the door which required an engineer's attention. Unfortunately, this meant we were arriving much later than planned. Despite this, a lovely lady from Centauro called me just before they were about to close, making sure I was still planning to arrive. Her thoughtfulness and reassurance really made a stressful situation much easier. When we finally arrived, the staff at Centauro were ready and waiting. The check-in process was swift and efficient, and they ensured we had all the information we needed before setting off. The car itself was in excellent condition, clean, and well-maintained. Upon returning the vehicle, the process was equally seamless. The staff again were courteous and efficient, making the return as hassle-free as possible. A big thank you to the lady who called me and person that stayed over to make sure we were happy before we leave. Your outstanding customer service will definitely bring me back next time I'm in Faro. Highly recommended!
We visited Portugal and I booked with Centauro. A minibus picked us up from the airport and took us to the office where staff were very friendly. I got upgraded to a car which had all the mod cons and it was a delight to drive everywhere. It was actually good value. It cost us roughly £20 per day including fuel and insurance! Thoroughly recommend them.
Have used Centauro several times there is a reason why I return to this company. Great prices and they don’t rip you off with the full cover insurance. The guys in the Faro office are very nice and action everything in a timely manor. We booked a category A car but received a Citroen C4 which I am sure is a Category C car so that was super nice. Thank you!

Navette arrivée à l aéroport avec 10 minutes d attente ce qui est indiqué lors de la location. Les chauffeurs aussi bien aller que retour super sympas. Dame à l accueil super sympa. Voiture prête et récupérée sans trop d attente. J ai pu lire certains commentaires assez ridicules sur cette agence. Allez faire les riches sur la Côte d Azur. Algarve c est pour les gens humbles qui aiment les endroits beaux et simples. Les gens le sont aussi. Véhicule parfait pour le lieu. Conditions impeccables. 185 de dépôt c est rien comparée à d autres agences. Merci pour le service!

Wir waren mit dem Shuttle Service und der Anmietung zufrieden. Hatten über Check24 plus Zusatzversicherung über Allianz gebucht. Das war aufgrund der Nebensaison sehr günstig. Wir hoffen dass wir alle Kautionen zurückbekommen. Das Auffinden des Shuttles in Faro Airport ist nicht ganz einfach und nicht deutlich ausgeschildert. Er befindet sich am anderen Ende auf einem Parkplatz.

Péssimo atendimento. Desloquei-me á Centauro Faro para alugar um carro de 25 de Dezembro a 27 de Dezembro, na qual ficou estipulado estas datas pela vossa colaboradora. No dia 25 de Dezembro de manhã fui buscar o carro na qual me foi dito que teria de entregar a dia 26 de Dezembro às 11h00, sendo que tinha reservado de 25 a 27 de Dezembro (a vossa colaboradora errou nas datas da reserva). Quiseram fazer um upgrade mas teria que entregar o carro a dia 26 de Dezembro. Disseram que para dia 27 não teriam como reservar-mos, no entanto ao telemóvel pela número de atendimento disseram que se entregasse o carro fora da data teria de pagar uma multa.. mais uma vez solução nenhuma. Fui entregar o carro hoje, porque como vamos para Lisboa a uma consulta às 10h30 não é teria como entregar o carro amanhã às 11h00. Pagámos á mesma o dia por interio, sendo que o fomos buscar às 11h00 e fomos entregar hoje por volta das 17h00. E o atendimento na entrega foi péssimo, tudo a despachar, nem boa tarde, nem disponível para atender as nossas duvidas e perguntas, nem arranjar uma solução para os clientes ficarem satisfeitos. Péssimo, péssimo, péssimo. E atenção que ainda nos entregaram um carro sem estar limpo. Uma vergonha. Não recomendo de todo esta rentacar.

Auf der Webseite von Centauro und in diversen Portalen wird angegeben, dass vor Ort Kredit - und Debitkarten akzeptiert werden. Leider wurde uns dann aber bei der Abholung des Mietwagens in Faro mitgeteilt, dass Debitkarten nur akzeptiert werden, wenn wir eine Zusatzversicherung von 156 abschließen. Ohne Zusatzversicherung werden nur Kreditkarten akzeptiert. Die Informationen auf der Homepage sind somit eine absolute Täuschung. Ich kann nur jeden warnen einen Mietvertrag bei Centauro abzuschließen, der eine Debitkarte hat und sich auf die Informationen auf der Homepage verlässt. Es gibt ja viele Mietwagenanbieter die keine Debitkarte akzeptieren, was ja grundsätzlich auch nicht verwerflich ist, aber dann wird es in der Regel auch nicht auf der Homepage beworben. Leider absolute Abzocke.
Alors si vous pensez faire une bonne affaire ravisée vous. Ils oublient de venir vous chercher à l aéroport, vous vous débrouillez comme vous pouvez. La voiture que vous avez réserver n est plus dispo. L assurance que vous avez pris surbooking ne leur convient pas. Résultat, le prix est multiplié par 4 et vous avez perdu 1 journée.
J ai eu un peu peur en voyant certains commentaires mais au final 58 pour une Renault Clio pour une semaine, c est vraiment pas cher. J ai rajouté l assurance proposé par Ryanair, soit 107 au total pour une semaine. Il faut inclure une caution d environ 100 pour un plein qui sera rendu lors de la restitution du véhicule. Il y a aussi une caution de 100 euros pour le télé péage qui est automatique au Portugal. La caution est remboursée sous 10 jours car il faut le décompte des derniers péages. Comme dans toutes les locations il vaut mieux avoir une cb avec un plafond > 1500 pour la caution de la voiture sinon vous devrez opter pour le package du loueur qui était à 187 pour supprimer cette caution. Équipe efficace et tarif imbattable pour un mois d octobre.

L autocar viens à l aéroport toutes les 30 ou 40 minutes et quand on appelle on tombe sur un service en espagnol l agence de Faro mériterait un service qui parle en portugais ou un numéro propre non ?

Ive hired 4 cars this year, from 4 different providers in 4 different locations and this one was the best. I took the premium package, so all included, no excess (just deposit for fuel and tolls, c200 EUR) direct from Centauro, which meant that there was no aggressive upsell when collecting, as with another provider this year (who insisted that the Autoeurope protection was not valid, and neither was the deposit amount promised) - so just walked in, paid deposit, drove out in about 10 minutes. Drop off was the same - checked the fuel and the car, said everything was fine, and dropped us at airport immediately - fuel deposit was repaid within a day or two, toll deposit came back after a week). And, car didnt breakdown and leave us stranded at the top of a mountain for 7 hours, so thats always a bonus! (as happened with another provider!)

Os preços de locação são bons, mas após conferir a viatura, vi que não se encontrava e tive que pedir o kit de segurança (triângulo e colete reflectivo). O veículo não vem com pneu reserva (estepe), apenas uma máquina para encher pneus. Em uma das locações só quando já estava em viagem vi que não havia água no reservatório do esguicho para lavagem do parabrisa. Portanto, é importante conferir todo o veículo para evitar surpresas.

Je suis toujours en attente du remboursement de 100 de l avance des péages cela fait plus de 10 jours c est une honte. Ça va être la dernière fois que je passe par centauro et je suis un client de longue date ainsi que mes amis et parents je leur dirai de ne plus passer par cette agence entre les problèmes de navette , le service client et maintenant le remboursement manquant cela fait beaucoup. Si je n ai pas de remboursement sous 48h j appellerai mon avocat

After several email and 11 days, I have not seen my money deducted from deposit back. They have no shame in this company. They promised that after maximum 10 days the 100 from the deposit will be reimbursed to my account, however they don t reply to any email and don t reimburse MY MONEY! AVOID!!
Pésimo servicio, nos timaron con las autopistas y al reclamar ahora dicen que no les llenamos el depósito cuando al dejar el coches lo miraron y nos dieron el Ok. No, no me digáis que contacte con vosotros porque lo hemos hecho en varias ocasiones y no dais respuesta ni resolvéis el problema

I would avoid Centauro like a plague. 1. Booked a car rental from the UK for 11pm with my wife and 2 kids. Centauro accepted the booking knowing fully well they will be closed by that time. 2. Arrived Faro Airport, there were other rental companies picking up their customers but no sight of Centauro. I would think a car rental loke that takes your flight number so they can track your flight to know when you land. 3. After standing at the meeting point for more than 30mins with 2 young kids and calling Centauro several times with no answer, I decided to take an uber to their office. 4. Got there and the staff were still there at the back of the office smoking weed. 5. I told them I had a booking, they said I will have to pay 120 so they can turn the computers back on as they have closed (I thought it was a joke too). 6. After several back and forth and considering I had young kids and needed to still drive to Albufiera, I paid. 7. That was not all. They changed me extra for the booking and for insurance even thought I already booked from the UK. 8. Ended up paying almost extra 300 that night before I could take a car. 9. I booked for a high end car and was given a fiddly Renault, which was awful. Again it was late and the kids were tired so I was left with no option. 10. Eventually returned the car 4 days later with a full tank. I have a picture. 11. I told them to come go through the car and petrol level before I leave and the lady said it was fine. They were supposed to refund 100 the fuel deposit immediately, but they didnt. 12. Got back to the UK and called them for a refund of the deposit and fuel deposit, and they said it will take to the end of the month. 13. Out of about £400 I was to be refunded, they only gave me less than £150! And no reason. 14. They deliberately prey on foreigners and once you are back in the UK, it is expensive to call and they just charge what they like. 15. I have been renting in faro for years, but this is the first time with Centauro and it was my worst rental experience to date. 16. I will never use them again and if you are traveling from the UK or anywere outside portugal, just dont book with these or else ofcourse you enjoy the exercise of throwing money in the bin. 17. This is my honest review from personal experience and believe me, it was a lot worse than than this summary I wrote.
Shuttle parked in a parking lot a little far from the airport exit. Lots of people at the agency. More than an hour of waiting to get the car. Beautiful recent vehicle. On the other hand, he smelled strongly of cigarettes. Deposit for gasoline ( 100) collected 10 days after return.

Si vous avez loué une voiture par internet, préparez -vous à avancer 1200 euros au titre dune franchise en cas daccident responsable et munissez vous dune carte de crédit et non dune carte de paiement. Plus une avance de 100 euros pour payer les autoroutes et une avance de 100 euros pour avance sur le carburant. En bref venez riche, sinon pas de voiture. Les voitures malgré le fait que vous payez une franchise sont toute cabossées. Elle ne sont pas réparées malgré quils encaissent la franchise.

Es hat am Anfang alles gut geklappt Auch bei der Rückgabe ging alles reibungslos. Nur das Deposit für die Maut (100Euro) habe ich nach 14 Tagen immer noch nicht zurück erhalten. Nach meiner Bewertung habe ich meine Maut zurück erstattet bekommen. Vielen Dank darum gibt es jetzt 2Sterne dazu.

Everything went fine for me! It is important to book directly on the companys website and there will be no deposit. Only 180 euro deposit for gasoline and tag (payment of toll roads). The documents were completed in 10 minutes, they gave me a new car with a mileage of 10,000 km, they accepted it back within a minute. They returned the deposit in about 12 days. I recommend it!
This time I have to write it...maybe 7th time i hire car from this company. I must say every time the fuel tank is not full. But this time in Faro this was too much. The car says 840 kms to go. When i return the car the representative said the fuel tank is not full. I topped up the fuel and the car says 1040 kms to go. 200 kms is for centauros personnel to use it as a home service. I know that this is all common for all car hire services. But this time this is too much. Sorry Centauro i will not hire from you anymore.

Franchement si vous souhaitez louer une voiture sans problème, éviter ce loueur. Navette à laéroport qui râle et veut nous facturer 40 euros car notre avion était en retard donc après 23h cest surtaxé (Arrivée à 23h10 à lagence). Au moment de montrer mon permis la personne le refuse car la date de validité de mon permis poids lourd nest plus valable. Je précise que je louais une voiture 7 places. Mon épouse propose le sien qui est aussi refusé car la réservation nest pas à son nom. Il faut recontacter lorganise de location pour faire un changement didentité. Bref, on a commandé un taxi et nous sommes allés à lhôtel pour relouer une voiture le lendemain mais ailleurs. Je précise que le deuxième loueur à accepter sans problème mon permis.... A fuir.

Schnelle und unkomplizierte Abholung und Rückgabe. Sehr neues Auto (6.000km), ohne Mängel und Schäden. Erstattung der Pauschalen ging schnell -- im Moment der Rückgabe war der Betrag auf der Kreditkarte nicht mehr geblockt. Nach Abgabe hat es aber noch ca. 10 Tage gedauert, dann war auch die letzte Gebühr für Maut & Benzin erstattet.

Booked from website with no excess plan. Fair price and got upgraded with a larger and better car. Be aware of deposits 140 for fuel and 100 eur for tolls. Got it all back though but took 10 days. Overall a good experience.

Très content de la voiture pour nos vacances. Cependant, on nous demande de payer 100 de péage et 54,50 d essence au départ pour le prêt de la voiture jusqu à la pas de problème ! Au retour, on nous rembourse 45,84 Nous avons utilisés que 8,64 de péage donc ils devraient nous rembourser 145,86 correspondant au calcul 100 - 8,64 = 91,34 + 54,50 d essence C est une honte !!!! Il nous manque 100 Nous voulons être remboursés !!

Onwijs aardige dame die ons hielp bij het inleveren van de auto. Ze controleerde alles en vroeg beleefd of we bepaalde voorwaarden hadden gedaan (bv de tank vol). Al dat gesnauw en die arrogantie is dus nergens voor nodig. Deze locatie liet zien dat het zeker ook anders kan!
Perfect and quick handling
We have paid 81 for fuel and 100 for tolls. Weve returned the car with more than what we got it with, and we didnt get the fuel money back. We are still waiting for the tolls rest. On top of that, we paid 40 because the flight had a delay, which is nowhere mentioned in the terms and conditions.

I rented a car with zero excess plan. I find the price is very competitive. It was so smooth from pick up to drop off. The location may put you off, but the shuttle bus comes frequently. So, I see not much difference with queening at airport for picking up a car.

As I pre-booked the vehicle a couple of months in advance, I obtained a very good price, and I was served straightaway when I arrived at the office, as I had been asked to provide my flight time, so they had my details ready. The only advice I would give was that we used the Waze app to find the drop off location at the end of the rental, and it sent us to an incorrect location a few miles away! Google maps on the other hand, found the correct location first time.
Muy buen servicio. Cumplieron con todo lo que dijeron, el personal muy amable. La van que pasa a buscarte desde el aeropuerto hasta el sitio es cada diez minutos por lo que no genera molestias. Reservamos un coche con seguro todo riesgo y no tuvimos que hacer un depósito más que el de la gasolina que nos fue devuelto cuando comprobaron que estaba lleno y los peajes. Volvería a contratar con ellos
Le doy una estrella por no poder darle 0, resulta que contrato un seguro plus, el cual no hace falta supuestamente franquicia pues no, ellos te la cobran igual, también te cobran la gasolina por adelantado, el peaje por adelantado y están días para devolverte casi 1400 , la atención muy prepotente y como saben que si no quieres el coche con sus condiciones pierdes lo ya pagado juegan con eso, seguidamente pedimos hoja de reclamaciones y aun dicen estamos acostumbrados piden hojas de reclamaciones a diario como si eso fuera algo bueno para la compañía. A la hora de devolver el coche nos decían que no iban a devolver la fianza por tener un rascazo menos mal que grabamos el coche a fondo y tenías el vídeo que demostraba que ya estaba sino se quedaban con nuestro dinero. Pero al final la culpa no la tienen solo los empleados sino los jefes que son los que ponen las condiciones. En conclusión mi valoración es muy negativa.

Prise en charge à laéroport via une navette. Il faut marcher sous le soleil et attendre la navette sans point dombre, seul point négatif. Rapidement arrivés à lagence. Personnel très sympathique, efficace et à lécoute pour diverses questions. Toutes les modalités ont été effectuées clairement et rapidement. Retour, juste à déposer le véhicule, petit check-up rapide et navette immédiate pour laéroport. Nous avons été agréablement surpris par cette agence de location. Nous la reprendrons sans hésiter et la recommanderons.

Pas de navette et de réception/ retour véhicule entre 22h et 7h du matin !
Javais fait une simulation pour le sud du Portugal avec plusieurs loueurs de voiture et cest centauro qui ne vous arnaque pas car tout est visible dans le contrat. Vous louez la voiture avec lassurance car cest plus simple pour tout le monde. Vous payer des acomptes pour lessence et le badge dautoroute qui vous sont remboursés par la suite.

Esperienza pessima, ci hanno fornito unauto dicendoci che andava a diesel di conseguenza una volta vuoto vado a fare il pieno di diesel ma scopro solo dopo che la macchina è a benzina, nessuna indicazione sul tappo ne sul vano serbatoio, nonostante assicurata con formula casco abbiamo dovuto sostenere i costi di uscita carroattrezzi e di Transfert, per un ammontare di 600 anche se,da meccanico, svuotare un serbatoio costa 200 a farla grande, hanno addebitato un costo a caso senza nemmeno sapere l entità del danno, che in questo caso era ovviamente sotto i 600 . Da evitare come la peste, ladri e truffatori.
The car was ok but they added 176 of assurance (for a 100 car rental) and didnt refund all the advance paid for the fuel and highway; they stole us other 56 . Its a real fraud.

First of all Id like to note that this review is directed at Centaur as a business and not the workers at this particular office (those who were working on the 11th of August). Once we made it to the rental place, our car was not available as the previous renters had not returned it and the company did not have a replacement. In addition to this, we were asked to pay a fee because the driver was under 25, fee that had not been stated when carrying out the reservation (where the driver was asked to provide her age). In fact, in the reservation papers it clearly stated that everything had been paid. This is clearly a mistake on the website, the company should be accountable for. Costumer service provided no solution but to pay the fee and wait for a reimbursement (if it were to happen). As for the car, the workers that day André and Erikson offered the only solution they could, which was to take us to our Airbnb and then bring as the car. This is what happened, André took us, and he was phenomenal and very resourceful (he also spoke good Spanish and English). As for the issues mentioned, we were given the option to email the manager of the office (the person who had the ability to fixed it) a week ago, but he has not replied, which is simply unacceptable. As both issues are clearly the companies fault (the first one even being in breach of consumer law).

I rented a car online with insurance included. They deducted 190 euro out of which 100 for the highway. I never used the highway and was told that within two weeks I would get the money back. Guess what? After several calls and promises, I never saw the money. Be careful.
AGENCY TO AVOID!!! Ive been waiting 2 months for my 800 deposit to be refunded. Ive been calling every day for 2 months, they tell me theyre going to reimburse me but to this day I still havent received a refund. They are liars and thieves!!! Do not go to this agency, I do not recommend it !!!

I was convinced to pay an additional 132.50 euros for insurance, even after telling the person at the desk that I had already paid for insurance online. DO NOT pay for the additional charge even if they advise you to. They ignore emails regarding a refund for the insurance wrongly charged.

Shuttle bus was there waiting for us in Faro. All the staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Nunu and Leonardo. Was offered extra insurance but we had our own so declined. Nice & clean car. Very quick and easy to return, no quibbles from staff. Couldn t recommend more highly.

Wij hebben hier een auto gehuurd op 3 juni 2024. We moesten de auto terug brengen voor openingstijden i.v.m. dus netjes achter gelaten. Krijg ik achteraf een rekening van 75 euro voor schoonmaakkosten. De auto is echter gewoon netjes ingeleverd. Ik heb hierover gebeld, er wordt gezegd een mail te sturen. Echter wordt er niet op gereageerd. En is er al 3 weken geen contact mogelijk met Centauro. Zeker geen aanrader!

Poor communication. Was told shuttle bus would arrive every 30 minutes however we waited over an hour. Also robbed us!! Have not refunded fuel deposit or holding fee for tolls which did not exist either!! Charged me an extra £150 which was suppose to be refunded and was not and also charged us extra £160 for insurance even though I had taken out third party insurance which covered me! The option was to pay this cost for insurance or leave a deposit of £1,800 which is NOT mentioned during the booking! I want the rest of my money owed refunded. Avoid company at all costs! EDIT: I have contacted tried to contact your team several times now with NO REPSONSE!!
Centauro Faro Aeroporto kann ich mit bestem Gewissen empfehlen. Es verlief alles Reibungslos. Mietwagen in einem sehr guten Zustand. Die Fuhrparkflotte ist auch ziemlich jung. Auch der Shuttle klappte sehr gut. Mitarbeiter sind motiviert und machen ihre Arbeit. Freundlicher und höflicher Umgang.
Cuando llegas al aeropuerto tenes que esperar a una camioneta que te lleva a las afueras donde se encuentran las oficinas. Nos dieron un auto hermoso y en perfectas condiciones. Te cobran por adelantado deposito de combustible + peajes via verde (ojo que la devolución tarda bastante alrededor de 10 días). Son claros y amables así que recomiendo esta empresa. Devolvimos el auto en Porto sin problemas.
Teníamos reserva a las 17:15, por temas de espera y demás (en el aeropuerto hay que esperar bajo el sol) llegamos a las 17:50, el coche no estuvo listo hasta las 18:15. Suelo reservar con esta empresa en España y es bastante más eficiente. El coche que me dieron tenía muchos arañazos y raspones. La devolución de deposito y gasolina se llevo 11 días.
Esperienza veramente positiva, vi consiglio questo autonoleggio per le seguenti ragioni: prezzo finale ragionevole considerato che è comprensivo di tutto e non è richiesta nessuna restituita cauzione per eventuali danni. Autovettura nuova, pulita e perfettamente funzionante, pratiche di consegna e riconsegna veloci. La cauzione versata per pedaggi autostradali restituita con applicati i pedaggi fruiti correttamente. Non comprendo invece come è stata gestita la cauzione del carburante (a mio avviso inutile) ma si tratta di una cosa trascurabile... servizio navetta per laeroporto veloce e confortevole. Sicuramente sarò cliente Centauro anche in futuro.
We had no real problems with Centauro, finding the Mini Bus can be a little bit difficult so for anyone reading, head through the terminal left to the very end and its pretty much through the parking lot opposite. Its a bit of a Trek with the bags but fortunately it was there waiting for us, checkout was quick and pain free, and checking back in was fast and easy. The car arrived in good condition apart from a few small scratches which is to be expected with hire cars. I didnt like the big yellow Centauro sticker on the back, some of the places we parked up in were not secure and Id prefer not to advertise Im in a hire car. Overall good service from Centauro would definitely use again.
Voor onze vakantie de autohuur via Centauro geboekt. Informatie was goed, pick up point was makkelijk te vinden. De afhandeling verliep snel en soepel. We kregen een prima auto mee. Ruim en netjes. Terug verliep alles ook weer super. Vriendelijk personeel. Een volgende keer zullen wij weer bij hen een auto huren!

Logre hacer la reserva por la web por discovercars un día antes, apenas pague la reserva por la web. Inmediatamente llame al personal de Centauro para confirmar la reservas y montos a pagar. ¡Fueron muy claros con el contenido por parte del call center que me atendió incluso en castellano! Elegimos por pagar el seguro con cobertura total. Que fue agregado en nuestra factura. Pagamos exactamente lo que indicaba la web más el costo del seguro. Adicional por temas de Portugal, es solicitado obligatoriamente el tema de un fondo para el pago de los peajes Vía verde, con esto también se puede acceder a algunos estacionamientos. Check in, lo adelante por la web, sin embargo, igualmente en las oficinas. Personal amable y rápido. Como optamos por la cobertura del seguro, se pudo pagar con tarjeta de débito. Pero sino lo quieren adquirir, deben pagar con tarjeta de crédito y dejar la garantía que depende del carro puede ser entre 1500 - 2000 según el vehículo (confirmen con ellos). Al cual llegue por mis propios medios (uber) desde la terminal de buses/tren que ronda entre los 4-6 euros hasta Centauro. Check out, fue apenas llegar, entregar, hacer la revisión del nivel de gasolina. Me preguntaron si quería llenarlo yo, o cubrirlo con la garantía que dejamos (obte por el segundo). Dado que tenía que volver al terminal de buses, me costó pedir el uber unos 20min, recomendable que tengan buen espacio de tiempo entre la entrega y su ticket de vuelta.

Faire Preise, keine Probleme bei der Rückgabe. Trotz der späten Stunde waren die Mitarbeiter im Büro entspannt und hilfsbereit. Die Rückerstattung der Benzin bzw. Maut Kosten erfolgt (bei mir in 2 Schritte) nach ca. 2 Wochen, also bitte ein wenig Geduld. Das ist auch gerechtfertigt, da die Mautgebühren verzögert bei Centauro eintreffen. Ich hatte das Auto über Ryanair gemietet, hier hätte im Voraus die Kommunikation besser sein können. Der Abholort in Faro war uns nicht bekannt, erst nach einem Telefonat mit Centauro konnte dies geklärt werden (P4!). Die Angebotene Versicherung durch Centauro bei der Abholung war allerdings recht teuer (mehr als der Mietpreis). Ich hatte über Ryanair schon eine Versicherung zum 1/4 des Preises. gebucht.

Schlechte Erfahrung und unschöne Überraschung bei der Übernahme: Der Verleih liegt etliche Km vom Flughafen entfernt. Dort angekommen wurde sofort versucht eine Zusatzversicherung für Beschädigung zu verkaufen (die ich aber bereits über den Veranstalter mitgebucht hatte). Beim Versuch das Deposit per Kreditkarte zu hinterlegen, ließ sich diese in allen drei angebotenen Terminals nicht verwenden. Fehlertext war dass die Karte angeblich nicht erkannt wird. Um das Fahrzeug zu erhalten, ließ mir Centauro keine andere Wahl als die zusätzliche Versicherung zu bezahlen, die dann teuerer war als die gesamte Leihgebühr für eine Woche. Nach dem Urlaub bei Rücksprache mit Bank und Kartenherausgeber geklärt, dass das Limit und Kontostand der Karte weit mehr als ausreichend gewesen wären. Vor allem kann der Kartenherausgeber jede einzelne Buchungsanfrage sehen und konnte keinen Versuch von Centauro feststellen, auf der Karte die erforderlichen 1.200 Euro zu reservieren. Hätte es wirklich eine Ablehnung des Vorgangs gegeben, wäre dies nach Auskunft von BCS im System sichtbar. Damit bestätigt sich meine Vermutung, dass die Einlassungen von Centauro nur vorgeschoben waren um mir diese unnötige Versicherung aufzuzwingen. In diesem Fall war der Versicherungsbetrag mit 182,- Euro höher als die gesamte Leihgebühr des Fahrzeugs. Also lieber Finger weg und zu einem reellen Anbieter gehen.

Centauro Car Rental in FARO at first seemed like a great deal, and the process of picking up the car at the airport was pretty simple on the day of our arrival. We were told that there was a full to full fuel policy, of which we made sure to return the car with a full tank. What we didnt expect was to have our fuel and toll deposit of 250 euros taken away from us due to the smallest stain on a back seat likely left by water which we insisted they would easily be able to remove but they would not budge at all. Really feel like we were scammed there, they were never really going to give us back those 250 euros. Would avoid Centauro at all costs as they are not as cheap as advertised, theyre out for your money!

La location s est assez bien passée malgré que la communication sur place fut compliqué. Nous avions prévue une location type Fiat 500 mais aucune voiture correspondante. Le retour du véhicule se fit rapidement mais aucun document attestant le retour nous a été remis, juste de la communication orale. Cependant, après 12 jours, je n ai toujours pas eu le remboursement des 100 correspond à la caution. J ai beau contacté le service client, aucun retour. C est scandaleux, merci de m apporter un retour rapide ET DE ME REMBOURSER !!
Agence à fuir, cest une arnaque à tous les niveaux. On vous demande 1 caution ou un paiement non remboursable à larrivée (environ 186 ), le paiement du plein de carburant + la remise à niveau de lessence au retour (soit double paiement du carburant) + paiement péage même si vous ne prenez pas lautoroute ... Le carburant et le péage devaient être remboursés, on na toujours pas vu la couleur. Cest purement scandaleux. Passez votre chemin.

Vino un pequeño bus a recogernos al aeropuerto de Faro para llevarnos a recoger el coche alquilado. Tuvimos que esperar a un 2. viaje (solo disponía de 7 plazas) y cuando llegó hubo gente que no quiso respetar la cola. Deberían tener o más frecuencias o más asientos para poder llevarte. Todo lo demás bien.
É sempre com muito gosto voltar a esta casa. É um prazer conduzir as viaturas que me são atribuídas. Excelentes profissionais e simpatia dispensada 5 estrelas. Voltarei sempre de coração cheio recomendo e não vou mudar muito obrigado

À l agence de Faro/Portugal, mauvaise expérience. Ils acceptent des réservations pour les arrivées de vols entre 22h30 et 23h alors que leur agence ferme à 23h. Aucun avertissement, on arrive sur place et on attend bêtement jusque minuit une navette qui n arrivera jamais, personne ne nous renseigne sur place, on a dû prendre un taxi à nos frais et revenir le lendemain pour apprendre qu ils ont annulé notre réservation et ne peuvent rien faire car nous devons appeler les services rental car. Sur place aucune excuses, aucune coopération on se retrouve face à des murs qui ne cherchent pas du tout à nous aider.
They accept evening reservations but forget to mention they close at 11pm. Nobody informed us, we had to call and reach someone in England to get that information, waited for an hour for a shuttle that never came with another group of people. And the next day we showed up to the agency and they told us our reservation got canceled since we didn t show also they didn t apologize or take any responsibility, I m pretty sure this happens everyday.. to find another reservation we had to call RentalCar and deal with them because Centauro could not help with anything. Won t book a car with them again.
Very good experience, everything went smooth, there is a shuttle bus that takes you to the airport every 10-15 minutes, but the services are better than the other car companies. Booked directly on their website.
Decepcionante o serviço! Não há nenhuma vistoria na entrega do veículo para mostrar o estado do carro, apenas na devolução. Nos cobraram 205 euros por um arranhão quase imperceptível que, inclusive, possivelmente já estava lá. Daria zero estrela se fosse possível.
Péssimo serviço! Não houve vistoria na entrega do carro, deixando o cliente a própria sorte de checar tudo, abrindo mão das suas responsabilidades como prestador de serviço. Quando formos fazer a devolução, disseram que haviam arranhões na roda do carro, o que eu acho muito surpreendente, já que não aconteceu nada nos 2 dias que estávamos com o carro. Ele perguntou se tínhamos tirado foto ou feito vídeo do carro antes, como se a responsabilidades da vistoria fosse do cliente. Não recomendo, mas se forem usar os serviços, gravem videos e tirem fotos, mesmo que a responsabilidades de fazer os checks antes de entregar o carro para o cliente sejam da empresa, para evitar dores de cabeça. No fim das contas estão cobrando valores absurdos, totalmente fora da realidade. Muita falta de profissionalismo!!!

I rented a car to a fair price and in good condition. Check in and check out process was fast and without any issues. Make sure you have a valid credit card for the deposit as described in the booking. Shuttle service was quick and supportive with the baggage. Only small improvement I suggest is a better description of the pick up point which is at P4 close to the arrival area. Very easy to find, but my description stated a meeting point in the arrival area, which was a bit confusing

Des voleurs et mal honnête. Après une location pour une voiture cabriolet, arrivé sur place pas de cabriolet le Mr mexplique que la voiture et en réparation et il me propose un autre véhicule. Que jaccepte. De retour après mon séjour je rend le véhicule et le même Mr va directement au niveau du par choc avant, il se baisse et me dit il ny avait pas de rayure à cette androit là. Je lui dit sur le bon de sortie il est indiqué 1(par choc ), il me répond que ce nest pas à cette endroit là. Il me facture une franchise avec sur la facture le mention par choc (1). Si vous avez le malheur de louer chez eux. Préparez vous à payer Faites des vidéos de la voiture et surtout nhésitez pas à vous baisser pour bien prendre le bas de la voiture . Still waiting on contact and a refund from a car rental that was returned in March. Emails aren t replied to and auto reply tells me my booking is complete. Poor experience for my first time, looks like my last also I have already followed the link you replied with and got the same closed auto response- This makes you hard to contact which you no doubt already know. I would appreciate a proactive call or email with regards to this booking else I ll see further legal advice.

I ve rented from many companies across Europe, for little money at off-peak times and it s never been a problem. This company is clearly out for the extra charges. We rented a base model Peugeot 208 which upon return we were charged 210 for a scuffed wheel trim which I am totally sure did not happen during our rental. Take a full, thorough video before leaving the site of the entire vehicle, as this parasitical company will take you for what they can upon return. The guy approving the return said to me this is being charged unless you can completely prove it wasn t there when you left . There was also an unmarked Peugeot wheel trim sitting being the desk at the time. Swapped? Make your own mind up. Avoid at all costs.

Always honest and vehicle is either brand new or a year old and it s always very easy to deal with. My recent car rental at Centauro in Faro, Portugal was a letdown. They sprung the Smart Cover insurance on me during check-out without warning about the franchise charges, messing up my credit card limit. At the airport, finding the shuttle pick-up spot was a mess, and the staff were unhelpful, making my family wait in a random spot with no Centauro signs, stressing us out even more. The Smart Cover insurance cost way more than I expected, doubling the booking amount. Going with Avis or Europcar wouldve been a better choice, given the hassle. And to top it off, customer service didnt bother replying to my complaint, which just added to my frustration. The whole experience was marked by bad communication, unprofessionalism, and a lack of care for customers satisfaction.

Les sugiero que tengan mucho cuidado al alquilar vehículos con esta empresa. Al entregarlo se lo van a revisar con lupa. Esa por lo menos fue nuestra experiencia. Por dos minúsculas rayitas que casi ni se ven y no tengo como demostrar que lo más probable era que ya estuvieran ahí al cogerlo nos van hacer pagar 240 euros. Su forma de proceder me parece un abuso. Nunca me había pasado esto al alquilar un coche. Experiencia pésima. Adjunto fotografías super ampliadas, de lo contrario no se apreciarían las marcas de las que ellos hablan que cuestan 240 euros.

Il faudrait préciser la nécessité de cette carte de crédit de manière plus évidente, car pour nous qui n avons pas l habitude de cette différence (carte débit & crédit), ça n était pas évident Malgré cela, très bonne experience !
El coche que me dieron era uno similar al contratado, pero mucho más moderno de lo que me podía imaginar. Totalmente automatizado, luces, Android auto, autopistas, ... Nuevecito y limpio.

Portanto, deveriam ter devolvido meus 209,00 euros, Peço que a empresa entre em contato comigo, pois tem todos os meus dados, inclusive telefone,..... ou me envie um número de telefone que possam realmente resolver................. A RECOMENDAÇÃO É QUE NÃO CONTRATE COM ESSA EMPRESA.................

Geboekt via een tussenpersoon; keurig op luchthaven met pendelbus naar locatie gebracht, ritje van 10 minuten. Auto stond klaar. Twee keer een borg betaald, te weten voor eigen risico schade en een borg voor benzine en tol. Inleveren ging lekker vlot, keurig weer naar de luchthaven gebracht. Borg voor de schade werd meteen vrijgegeven en het deel voor de benzine ook. Nu 12 dagen later ook het laatste deel na verrekening van de tol. Bovenstaande m.b.t. de borg werd goed uitgelegd en men is dit ook netjes nagekomen.
Fatal!!! Experiencia pésima. Sugiero a todos los usuarios que hagan fotografías de todas las partes del vehículo antes de cogerlo. A nosotros nos culparon de realizar las dos marquitas que veis en las fotos y por ello nos van hacer pagar 240 euros. Bueno ya se lo cobran de los 1.200 euros que te retienen. No son listos ni nada!! No estábamos de acuerdo claro, pero allí no hay forma de reclamar. Aceptas y punto. Lo dicho, fatal!! No recomiendo a nadie alquilar coches con Centauro. Pero bueno leyendo el resto de reseñas ya veo que hay muchísima gente descontenta con el servicio.

Die Firma Centauro hat vor Ort eine weitere Gebühr für einen Komplettschutz in Rechnung gestellt, obwohl über Booking alles gebucht wurde. Centauro hat über Buchungen über Booking abgeraten und Booking sehr schlecht gemacht. Wir haben nun für das Auto fast das doppelte bezahlt und sind sehr verärgert mit Ihnen und der Firma!
Prise en charge par la navette très rapide à laéroport, très rapide également à lagence pour récupérer la voiture (service premium choisi) et également pour la déposer. Seul le réservoir à 50% est difficile à gérer pour rendre la voiture avec la même quantité.
Toen we aankwamen op Faro, was het erg zoeken naar de opstapplaats van de shuttlebus naar het autoverhuurbedrijf. Daar aangekomen hebben we een auto gekregen met wat schade aan beide voorkant links en rechts. (Dit stond gelukkig ook op het formulier) En nu komt het; wij moeten heel vroeg op het vliegveld zijn om onze vlucht te halen. Het bedrijf is dan nog niet open. Nou kunnen wij de auto achter laten op het parkeerterrein P4. Dit kost ons 40 plus het parkeren. Nu blijkt dat de auto ook pas na 3 uur opgehaald kan worden a reson van 4 per uur . Toen we aan het begin van de week belde was het alleen de 40, wat overigens ook erg veel geld is. Ik ben benieuwd of we de borg ect terug krjgen. Hele onduidelijke informatie vooraf. Ik zal jullie niet aanraden!

Beware of the 12 hour collection window - our flight was late and while we did email, the delay was even longer than expected. When we landed the phone lines were closed and sadly by the time we arrived for pickup the next day we had lost our booking and the money we paid in advance. If your flight is in the evening and even a little delayed, definitely make sure to call them or the agency you booked with directly.
Ho letto tutte le recensioni prima di prenotare e ero abbastanza preoccupato perché molte negative, poche positive Penso che i clienti soddisfatti scrivano meno di quelli contenti, io ho prenotato dal 31/8 al 24/9 quindi non in piena stagione e senza casko ma per precauzione assicurazione sulla franchigia con rentcar che ovviamente costava meno della casko proposta da centauro ( per fortuna non usata la copertura) . Esperienza positiva navetta da aeroporto , seguendo le istruzioni addetto allarrivo, 10 minuti di percorso per arrivare al deposito un po lenti al check in , carta di credito ( quella con lettere in rilievo ) addebito per franchigia e benzina un po di firme , parlo poco inglese ma ce la siamo cavati lo stesso, macchina nuova pulita , al rientro check out velocissimo ( fin troppo) non rilasciano nessuna ricevuta solo firma su tablet addetto , riaddebito sulla carta di credito costo benzina e franchigia dopo qualche giorno... in sintesi esperienza positiva .. forse la prossima volta farò la casko e non ci penso più .. attenzione i prezzi variano .. migliore 30 gg prima dell arrivo... dopo 4anni ritornato a Faro.. e ripreso macchina a noleggio.. tutto bene.. solo la mattina ritiro apre alle 7.. un po tardi per prendere volo per Milano Easy jet.. ho prenotato vicino aeroporto..

Je recommande clairement la location chez eux. Le staff est super agréable, explique bien, et réactif. Le véhicule était top, aucun soucis durant mon séjour. Il faut prévoir une caution de 200 pour l essence (qu ils rendent de suite au retour si le plein a été remis) et 100 pour les péages qu ils rendent 10 jours après. Prenez l assurance tout compris, clairement niveau rapport qualité prix on ne peut pas faire mieux.

Took my rental car back with the correct amount of fuel. The staff member said all is fine we will now refund your 67 fuel cost and would we mind filling in a review form which we agreed to. Checked our account and only 45 refunded. Also we booked through easyJet and paid for extra insurance. When we showed the proof of extra insurance at the desk at 10pm when we arrived off our flight the staff member said we don t accept it and demanded we pay a further 160 .. we had no choice but to pay this to get a car. This is pure dishonesty on both counts. I ll be raising a dispute with my credit card company unless I am refunded both of these amounts I will never use this company again
For anyone happy to have a short bus ride to an off airport car rental site, Centauro is a brilliant, effiecient and professional car hire company to use. The hire its self if competitive, the service, excellent. The Faro site held 100 euros for toll fees, in Almaria they didnt. Its actually easier knowing you dont have to have money ready for a toll booth and any unused money gets credited back. If you return a car with the same fuel that its issued with, you get a full refund of fuel charged at collection time. Having used other car hires in the past, Centauro is actually the best Ive used so far. We plan to buy a used car through centauro in the future, when we move to Spain.

When we picked car up we took photos of obvious dents and scratches,we were not aware you had to evidence every blemish however small. On return the inspector went straight to the front bumper pointed out a very small scratch and said this must have been you as it was not recorded!! I know it was not me but could not prove it, he then removed 250 from my account and kept repeating the words claim off your insurance I will never touch this company again !! The sad thing was up until the end things were fine ?

DO NOT USE.. they refused to acknowledge the CDW I had purchased via their partner easyJet and forced me to pay an extra £160 insurance or I could not collect the vehicle. Then took £67 fuel deposit and confirmed I had returned the car with the required fuel level and then only reimbursed £40 onto my credit card. 10 days have past and I have still not had reimbursement of the £100 deposit for tolls. Absolute crooks I will never use this company again. I will be issuing a dispute via my credit card company. The refuse to answer the phone ... I cant find any email address

Un desastre ! Nunca me ha pasado algo así Reservamos un coche indicando la hora de llegada 23:00. Resulta que nuestro vuelo se retrasa 30 minutos y lógicamente llegamos tarde , eso que no hemos tenido que esperar al bagaje y fuimos corriendo al parking. Llamamos y nos comunican que están ya cerrados y no nos pueden dar ninguna solución Nada, tuvimos que coger un taxi para llegar al hotel Mañana vemos que solución nos dan Día siguiente... 10 estrellas por la atención. Empleados así cualquier empresa triunfa! Muchas gracias

Profesjonelt utleiefirma, hyggelige ansatte. Kort vei og veldig lettvint med shuttel-minibuss til og fra utleiestedet / flyplassen i Faro.
Bitte vorsichtig! Wurde von der schlecht zu verstehenden mit mittelklassigen Englisch sprechenden Frau über den Tisch gezogen! Wir hatten einen Opel Insignia extra mit Automatik gebucht! Bekommen haben wir einen Ford Focus als Schalter mit Lenkrad. Sonst keinerlei Ausstattung. Da wir das Auto über Rentelcars.com gebucht hatten und dort eine Zusatzversicherung (Komplettschutz) dazu gebucht hatten wollten wir explizit keine weiter Versicherung von centauro. Nach mehrfachen nachdrücklicher Aussage unterschrieb ich den Vertrag digital und bekam diesen erst kurz vor Abfahrt ausgehändigt. Dort viel mir nicht auf dass die ach so nette Mitarbeiterin eine Versicherung im Wert von 160 dazu gebucht hatte. Dies viel erst bei der Kreditkartenabrechnung später auf. Eine Erstattung war dann nicht mehr möglich. Ich hatte ja schließlich unterschrieben. Fazit : war das erste und letzte mal bei diesem Hobbyverein
Really friendly and helpfull staff, our flight was delayed but they waited for us, nice clean car, everything explained by proper english speaking staff, deposits refunded in a timely manner, shuttle to and from the airport every 10-15 minutes, shower/bathroom available on site. All in all a nice experience, will definitely use again.

Wij hebben een hele goede ervaring gehad met dit verhuurbedrijf. Personeel was zeer vriendelijk, nette en schone auto meegekregen en alles was heel goed qua communicatie & afhandeling (in het Engels). Er zit een tolbadge in de auto waarmee je automatisch de tol via een reservering op je Creditcard kan afreken. Was super geregeld. Zowel het ophalen als inleveren van de auto ging perfect en verliep zonder problemen. Er was alleen wat onduidelijkheid waar je moest wachten op de pendeldienst op Faro AirPort, locatie was weliswaar duidelijk vermeld van tevoren maar het was een beetje chaotisch omdat er meerdere bedrijven bij elkaar stonden. Ik zou dit bedrijf zeker aanbevelen.
Centauro is quickly becoming my favorite European rental car company! After renting in Valencia, I decided to rent in Faro, and it was the best decision again! Cars are new and in perfect conditions, the check in and check out has always been super quick and easy, the staff very warm and welcoming, what a treat and I could not recommend more!
Fantástico!! Cogimos el shuttle en el P4 del aeropuerto, nos llevaron a las oficinas a unos minutos de allí. Muy amables en ellas, rapidez y nada de esperas. Nos dieron un coche mejor que el que habíamos alquilado, nuevo y limpio. Las retenciones de fianza de gasolina y peajes, nos la devolvieron en su totalidad 10 días después de la entrega del coche. Tout sest bien passé avec cette agence, la navette passe bien nous récupérer à laéroport (prévoir 2 trajets si vous êtes nombreux les chauffeurs partent en premier mais cest rapide). Le personnel est gentil et serviable et le véhicule conforme à la réservation. La restitution sest bien passée également et le retour à laéroport aussi). Je recommande Centauro.

Where is the after-sale? They charge us 300 for a tire and they told me they will email me the detailed bill. Only received a joke bill with 300 written for a tire and absolutely no detail of the so-called buyed tire. I replied but no answered after 3 weeks.

Worst service ever. They rob you while you are standing there. Dishonest, not correct. They charge 60eu for some sand in the car and we took a full insurance with rentalcars but they said that was not valid so had to pay 289eu. Do NOT rent a car here
Do not, I repeat, do not ever use this car rental company. Car was booked under my name with my friend as the main driver. Apparently, they failed to recognise this and proceeded to charge a further euro 200 to add another person and insurance we didnt need. Held us to ransom just before they closed and were extremely uncaring!

La peor experiencia que he tenido alquilando un coche. Reserve con mas de un mes de anticipación un coche de 7 plazas, cuando llego a la oficina no lo tenían y me dicen que la única solución es devolverme el dinero y ya, y ademas nos decían que no les importaba si dejábamos una mala reseña o llenábamos la hoja de reclamación. Despues de tanto insistir que nos buscaran una solución, no has dado dos coches pequeños porque éramos 6 persona y nos prometieron que nos iban a hacer una devolución por cambio de categoría. Ya han pasado mas de 15 dias desde que supuestamente se solicitó la devolución por cambio de categoría y aun no he recibido ni la devolución ni se han puesto en contacto conmigo. Ademas ya han pasado mas de 12 días desde que devolvimos los coches y aun no me han devuelto ni el deposito por el combustible ni el depósito por el peaje. He enviado infinidad de correos a la oficina de faro y no me han respondido ninguno. A parte parece que han borrado mi cuenta de centauro de la web ya que cuando intento ingresar me dice que este correo no se encuentra registrado . Es decir, un completo desastre y falta de respeto, sigo exigiendo una solución. Ha pasado casi un mes y aun sigo esperando la devolución de mi dinero y que al menos me den una respuesta. Además he tenido que ir a una oficina en Valencia para que me den respuesta y me he enterado que me han cobrado 60 euros por limpieza de coche, cuando el coche lo entregamos en perfectas condiciones. Es un abuso, una burla y una estafa.
Voulant faire des économies en passant par ce loueur, je ne le ferai plus. Le personnel daccueil est désagréable. Aucun moyen pour rendre avec sécurité le véhicule en dehors des heures douvertures de lagence (même quand notre vol est à 5heures du matin) Prise de caution sans aucune justification. Cest du juste du vol. Fuyez et louez ailleurs.

Bei der Auto Rückgabe morgens um 7 Uhr meinte der Herr, der das Auto entgegennahm zu meiner Überraschung, dass da ein kratzen in der Beifahrertüre sei, über den er aber hinwegsehe (der Kratzer war allerdings bereits als vorheriger Schaden vermerkt) jedoch müsse er mir 60 Euro von meinem hinterlegten Depot abziehen da sich im Kofferraum und im Fussbereich der Rückbank etwas Sand befindet und die Reinigung koste bei ihnen so viel. Das sei deren company policy und ich solle doch froh sein, dass er über den Schaden hinwegsehe Bei keinem anderen unternehmen an der Algarve wurde mir jemals irgendwas fürs wegsaugen von Sand in Rechnung gestellt. Die Algarve hat die mitunter schönsten Strände der Welt. Da bleibt Sand nicht aus. So kommt man auch zu seinem Geld Da ich es, wie vermutlich jeder andere der sein Auto so früh abgibt eilig hatte zum Flughafen zu kommen und ich darum auch schnell aufgegeben hab zu diskutieren hab ich mich schlichtweg über den Tisch gezogen gefühlt. Ich hoffe das Reinigungspersonal bekommt wenigstens einen anständigen Lohn. Ich werde dort in Zukunft aber nie wieder buchen.
Moeilijk te vinden waar je de shuttelbus vindt. Vooraf betaald en een all in verzekering genomen. Ter plaatse geldt deze niet, nog eens moeten bijbetalen en een waarborg om U te tegen te zeggen. Dus zeer veel geld kwijt om een wagen te krijgen die vuil is, overal geblutst is EN bovenop stinkt naar cigeretterook waardoor het niet doenbaar is om met ramen dicht te rijden. Zeker niet nemen om te huren want ze doen alleen aan afzetterij om hun blutsen betaald te krijgen die reeds in de wagen zijn.

0 sterren waard. Onduidelijk waar het afhaalpunt was. Bleek een parkingplaatsje te zijn op de luchthaven en dan met een shuttlebus. Onbeleefd personeel, auto stinkt naar sigaretten en is vuil en geblutst, vragen geld voor verzekering terwijl deze al betaald werd. Terugbetaling waarborg duurt minimum 10 dagen, laten we hopen dat we het effectief terugkrijgen. Zon hoge waarborgen die met dezelfde kaart betaald moeten worden, wat onmogelijk is waardoor je dus eigenlijk een andere optie moet kiezen en dus geld effectief kwijt bent in plaats van een waarborg. Bleek dat wij niet de enige waren, een ander koppel Belgen had juist hetzelfde probleem.
Heel vriendelijk personeel, met glimlach en goede sfeer gaat alles beter. Wij hebben klein autootje besteld, zoiets als F500, maar verrassing wachtte op ons, wij hebben mooie Citroen C3 met goede outfit gekregen. Centauro heeft ook bijgedragen om ons vakantie nog gezelliger te maken. Heel erg bedankt en tot ziens, wij komen terug!

Das ist nicht seriös! Hatte über Booking.com einen Wagen bei Centauro angemietet und zusätzlich das empfohlene Komplettschutz-Versicherungspaket gebucht um im Schadensfall 0 Euro Selbstbeteiligung zu haben. Der Agent von Centauro wollte trotzdem 1.600,-- Euro SelbstbeteiligungsKaution in bar von mir haben, sonst könne er mir den Wagen nicht aushändigen. . Die Versicherung die ich über booking.com für seinen Wagen mitgebucht hatte interessiere ihn nicht, da der Vertrag angeblich nur mit booking - aber nicht mit Centauro zustande gekommen sei. Auch eine Kaution über die Kreditkarte - wie bei anderen üblich lehnte er ab. Um mich von der 1.600,-- Euro Bar-Kaution freizukaufen bot er mir n zusätzlich zum Mietpreis 243,-- Euro zu bezahlen. Selbstverständlich lehnte ich beides ab - fuhr zurück zum Flughafen und mietete über einen seriösen Anbieter einen Wagen an. Die Fahrerin des Shuttle-Busses brachte nicht nur mich zurück zum Flughafen, sondern auch noch ein anderes Ehepaar, die ebenfalls Ärger mit ihrer Anmietung hatten und sie erwähnte dass das sehr oft vorkomme, dass sie verärgerte Kunden zurückbringen müsse, weil die Anmietung nicht zu den gebuchten Konditionen durchgeführt werde.

Superfijne auto en alles netjes geregeld. Wel was bij aankomst heel onduidelijk waar we werden opgehaald door het busje. Je gaat met een shuttlebusje naar centauro gebracht. De borg is wel heel hoog voor een auto. Prijs/ kwaliteit is top dus zeker voor herhaling vatbaar.

Nice staff, there was no car of the chosen category available, so they provided a higher category with no extra charge. The car was new, clean, in great condition, there was no problem with anything.
This was way better than my previous experience with a different company. The whole thing was efficient, from the courtesy pick-up, to the lady in the office, who was efficient and personable, the rental location and the car itself, which was a pleasure to drive.
Ich reise viel und habe auch schon viele Mietwagen gehabt. Centauro in Faro ist -mit Abstand- der beste Mietwagen-Verleiher, den ich bisher hatte. Ich war vor 4 Jahren schon zufrieden aber mittlerweile ist der Service perfekt. Faire Preise, keine unnötigen Zusatzversicherungen, alles inklusive. Ich konnte vorher meine Daten eingeben und hatte den Wagen innerhalb von 3 Minuten. Centauro ist zwar nicht direkt in Flughafen aber es fährt ein Shuttle-Bus alle 15 Minuten. Dieser ist leicht zu finden, einfach vor dem Flughafengebäude zum Parkplatz-Schild P14 gehen und kurz warten bis der gelbe Bus kommt. Von mir eine klare Empfehlung!

Not recommended... it seems price competitive, but it feels they are looking for a way of getting more out of you at the end. First, watch out because when booking a full insurance not directly from their website, they have no agreements. So you will have to get another full insurance directly at their office if you dont like being in the middle of insurance companies... secondly, the car was with a bit of sand on the inside (we have 2 kids and came to the beach!). They said they had to charge me for 20 min extra of cleaning inside, so they just charged me for an additional 60 eur. More than 120eur/hr rate for vacuum cleaning a bit of sand... honestly is quite disappointing. The car was nice but this unexpected surprises doesnt make it a nice experience.
I have rented many cars with Centauro over the years, however for the last 2 years I keep receiving fines in England from a collection company, EPCPLC, which adds absurd admin costs to these fines. The first one was a fine from Porto, a city em PT that I never been, when checked the contract it was not within the time I had the car so I had to appeal with the Porto Town-hall as Centauro just would not help. Now I received two more regarding to via-verde from 2 different cars that I have hired with Centauro, however I have paid for via-verde token in all my rentals and all charges were settled then, again Centauro did not have an explanation for it or offer any assistance. Be aware, it is not worth it! Update 23/11/23 - I have received today a reply from the collection company saying that I have to pay the fines anyway, this is absurd as I have done everything properly with all my rentals and you are the only company that gives me grief. Contracts PR20066025 and PR21079915. I have emailed again Centauro through the link given on the comments. Update 02/01/24 - Centauro finally responded saying for me to pay the collection they would reembolse me the administrative charges only. However, it has not been reimbursed yet. Meanwhile, I received a forth penalty for a different contract regarding to the same issue, via verde (toll charges) that was again included in the contract. I truly dont know many are out there to come!! Centauros failure to process their contract or their faulty via verde device is appalling!! Please does anyone knows how to complain to the right gov. body? Thank you
Hired a car during our holiday and found the service was really good. No forced insurance sale or threatening.. they just gave options, but they didnt force to take their insurance coverage, unlike other companies who emotionally target to sell their insurance... all went well throughout the car rental.. I definitely recommend to those who want to hire from Centauro..
Nette ontvangstruimte maar een beetje kaal. Prima geholpen door medewerker maar door ict problemen lang moeten wachten voordat we de auto konden krijgen. Prijs kwaliteit verhouding is prima.
P j ení auta prob hlo v po ádku, pronajali jsme si skupinu Seat Ibiza or similar a dostali jsme Peugeot 2008, cht jí depozit, ale jen 246e a sta í debetní karta. Auto jsme vrátili v po ádku, natankované a b hem 10 dn jsme m li depozit zp t. Rychlé p j ení i vrácení auta. Doporu uji!

Oplichters daar. Auto vol deuken mee gekregen. Er was niets anders ! Tuurlijk...en hadden achteraf een half volle tank diesel mee gekregen, maar dat was me niet opgevallen, en had de auto volgens afspraak vol ingeleverd. En daar was niets aan te doen. Blijf weg daar...
Très bonne agence de location de voiture à Faro airport. Personnel très professionnel et sympathique. Agence située à quelques kilomètres de l aéroport mais il y a des navettes régulières. Nous avons attendu moins de 10 m tant à l aller qu au retour. Voitures récentes, propres. Nous avons opté pour la formule assurance complète donc zéro soucis et zéro stress
Great service, car had some cosmetic damage but was all accounted for on documentation. Car was relatively and drove well. Staff were courteous and professional. Shuttle service was quick.
Encore une bonne expérience avec Centauro début janvier. Habitués des agences de Malaga et de Séville, qui nous donnent entière satisfaction, nous sommes passés un cran au-dessous avec léquipe de Faro. Accueil excellent, véhicule (très) propre et récent, formule Premium sans mauvaise surprise et remboursement des cautions essence et péage comme prévu. Centauro est un prestataire fiable que nous recommandons.
Leider nicht zum empfehlen. Nehmen 60,- Gebühr da Wagen bei Rückgabe nicht gesaugt. War aber nicht im Vorfeld besprochen und steht nicht in den AGBs. Kindersitzerhöhung übertrieben teuer. Mitarbeiter teils sehr unfreundlich, reden über einen und denken, man versteht es nicht.
We had a great experience with these guys. David and his colleagues were professional and available. Shuttle to airport was fast and prompt. Cars are very well kept and very new. Strongly recommend this car rental. We had some previous bad experience with others who were pushy and highly unprofessional. Centauro in Faro is the place to go.
Fantastic company and service that found me a better deal on car hire very new car low mileage from pickup from airport to getting in the hire car only took 20 mins see you next time
