This branch is run by a company called Guerin. It’s not quite the service I have been accustomed to from Enterprise. In my experience, they will try every trick in the book to charge you for damages. If you do rent from here do take lots of photos and add every minor scratch to the report at the time of checkin (via their online system).
I had the car booked for 4 days, but told them that was a mistake and I only needed the car for 3 days. They said they'd reimburse me for the extra day, which they never did and then charged me extra. They totally lied and only sent me the updated agreement after I left the country. What a scam.
Picked up our vehicle in Lisbon and returned in Faro. Lisbon staff advised us to take a video of vehicle to show all previous scratches and damages, so we did. We did purchase full insurance last minute and thank goodness we did. When we returned to Faro staff kept saying “you’re so lucky you purchased insurance”. we advised that all damages were previously there and showed her the video and she said “video is not good enough, must have photos”. When I told her staff in Lisbon told us to video it, and other customers standing there said the same. She said staff in Lisbon and Porto were not supposed say take videos and are known for doing that and told us we would have been charged regardless. We were completely insulted by insinuating we damaged the vehicle and repeatedly saying we are so lucky is just rude. Also blaming customers for something staff at another location does is horrible behaviour. I would BEYOND recommend getting insurance if you rent from this company. They are looking to rip people off it seems.
I returned my car at Geneva Airport with no visible damage. I handed over the keys without a check, only to be billed £1,400 later for minor scratches. This seems excessive and unlikely to cover actual repairs. Very disappointed with Enterprise’s practices and would not recommend them.
The price was reasonable and a decent new model car. They will try to sell you their insurance and when you advise you have your own, they will say things like "I hope nothing happens then." All to try and put doubt in your mind. Make sure you take photos of all aspects of the car. No damage check was made by the employee when i collected the car. The document they then emailed showed no damage to the car, despite there being scratches on the body work. Upon return of the car they identified damage to the front bumper and asked if I'd taken photos on collection. Luckily I had, and they showed the damage already to be there. If I hadn't taken photos I have no doubt they would have charged me for old damage. I wouldn't say it was a bad experience with enterprise as everything was dealt with fairly quickly, however just be aware to record all damage to cover yourself.
Thank you for your provided service of a car rental at Faro airport. -Pick up was comfortable and fast as I just had to step out the airport and hat to wait only 5 mins outside nearby the Coffee Bar. -car was ok, no issues. Rental price was a good pick and -return, special thanks to your colleagues. Very clear communication, friendly and fast. Deposit was relieved asap. No concerns to recommend KLASS to a third party/ to book it the next time again.
Received a car with extremely low oil; warning light came on 20min into driving. Told us to buy oil and we'd get reimbursed, but roadside assistance wouldn't come out for it. Annoying; should be checking all cars for fluids before renting them out. Otherwise, an easy experience and the management checked in to see how the rental had been, so that's why they get better than 1 star.
Really good experience with Enterprise. Easy check-in and everything went well. Car had some damage but all details were already identified in the contract. Super nice people. Definitely would rent again with them

Sowohl die Abholung des Fahrzeuges (erfolgte an Self-Desks mit ggf. MA-Unterstützung) als auch die Rückgabe waren absolut unkompliziert! Das Fahrzeug war sauber und bis auf die gewohnten Kratzer im Lack in einem einwandfreien Zustand. Herzlichen Dank, wir buchen hier gerne wieder.
Price-performance ***** Vehicle ran perfectly!!! Pickup was super easy. One star deducted because the interior wasnt really clean and the windshield washer system only has water, which does next to nothing for the windshield wipers!!!

Très mauvaise expérience la personne à profiter de nous (ne parlant pas anglais nous nous sommes bien fait avoir ) pour nous vendre une assurance à 192 euros pour une semaine de location alors que nous avions déjà payé une assurance global au moment de la réservation nous avons beau lui montré le document, rien à faire. Zeer goede ervaring met deze autoverhuurder op vliegveld Faro. Het digitale ophaalsysteem werkt goed en snel en de nagenoeg nieuwe auto staat om de hoek op loopafstand. Tijdens de verhuurperiode lichte schade gereden aan spoiler en ook dit werd zeer coulant door vriendelijke medewerker afgehandeld. Volgende keer zal ik zeker weer een auto bij hun huren.
Everything was easy and good - great service. Pick up/drop off is very close to the airport (you can walk) - and it is easy to find when you drive there.

Prise en compte et retour des véhicules rapides, ne cherchent pas la petite bête au retour du véhicule. Attention tout de même au véhicule délivré par rapport à celui réservé : ils vous disent que ce sont des véhicules qui sont du même groupe ,mais nous avons eu un T- ROC à la place dun Qashqai, et pour 4 grands adultes, on sent la différence dhabitabilité et de coffre.... (20 cm de moins en longueur)

Nach einem schönen Urlaub folgte die Enttäuschung: 2021 hatte ich für meinen Urlaub einen Mietwagen für eine Woche gebucht, inklusive Mauterhebungsservice. Nun habe ich 1 1/2 Jahre später eine Zahlungsaufforderung von 152 erhalten, da die Mautgebühren in Höhe von 19,60 nicht beglichen wurden. Ich habe mich daraufhin mit Enterprise in Verbindung gesetzt, bekam allerdings nie eine Antwort und muss diese Strafe jetzt begleichen. Meine Kreditkarte war hinterlegt, das Mautgerät hat nachweislich funktioniert. Ich hatte keine Chance, gegen die Strafe irgendetwas zu unternehmen. Im Internet findet man unzählige Fälle wie meinen. So sollte man nicht mit seinen Kunden umgehen! Bucht nicht über Enterprise in Portugal!
Check-in in allen möglichen Sprachen an einem Terminal. Eine freundliche Mitarbeiterin half beim Ausfüllen. Auto neu und gepflegt. Schlüsselabgabe über einen Briefkasten, wegen frühem Flug. Absolut zu empfehlen!
Wirklich sehr schlechter Service, man wird im Vorfeld nicht über etwaige Schäden aufgeklärt noch über die buchbaren Zusatzprodukte. Insgesamt wirken alle Mitarbeiter so, als würden sie keine Lust auf Interaktion mit dem Kunden haben

BEWARE! We are in Faro Airport Enterprise in Portugal! Not only did the Enterprise driver run over Mike s foot, but they are also trying to get us to give them $280 for made-up scratches! Their Lisbon airport told me to stop being so picky over the tiny scratches on a black car. Now in Faro, they are trying to charge me for two tiny scratches. Police said Enterprise does this to visitors all the time! @Enterprise, you can do better than allow this kind of behavior! Enterprise!!! Watch this! @enterprise!

Horrible liars. I called Alamo to cancel my booking due to a canceled flight. On the phone, I was clearly told that my booking was now canceled and that I should contact the broker (expedia) to get a refund. But expedia says that in their system Alamo never canceled the booking (there is a NoShow warning) and when contacted by expedia Alamo claims I never called. Do not trust them.
Everything is run by Guerin, not a separate company. Its been a month and still no refund from the 300 eur deposit. Besides, new charges have been made to my credit card two days ago and i left Portugal about a month ago. They don t reply to emails or phone calls. SCAM.

This was by far the worst experience I have had with Enterprise/Guerin. When we picked up the rental car, we specifically asked which type of gas the rental car takes. When we went to load the car with gas at the end of our trip, we ended up putting the wrong gas in the car, even though this was the type of gas the employee told us to use. As a result, we were responsible to pay all the damages/charges to fix the car. When we asked the employee more questions about this, they said this happens all the time with Americans - if this happens all the time, perhaps your company should do more to fix this problem. If I could give them 0 stars, I would. Never, ever rent from here.
Took photos of damage on collection of car and emailed it to us. Returned back in same condition then accused us of causing the same damage we collected it in, tried to get us to sign and didnt explain what we were signing. When confronted acted sheepishly then directed us inside to resolve it. Would have taken 2 seconds to check the original email/system which clearly stated the damage the car was in upon receiving it ... It would have been 5 stars if not for that.
Goede ervaring. Boeking is gedaan via Sunny Cars. Goedkoopste klasse gehuurd en kregen een nette zo goed als nieuwe (3.000KM) Mitsubishi Spacestar. Inspectie van de auto gaat netjes en medewerkers zijn zelf ook scherp bij de voorinspectie (auto had velg en bumper schade). Documenten krijg je gelijk per mail ter bevestiging. Geen problemen bij inlevering en waarborgsom binnen een week vrijgegeven. Personeel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Op het parkeerterrein zag ik eigenlijk alleen maar nette en recente autos staan. Bij andere verhuurders heb ik dit regelmatig anders meegemaakt.

Horrible horrible horrible ! Use any other car hire services but these! Booked a car for a week through the Ryanair app, put in all my partners information and when I got the confirmation email it had all my details. I followed the advice of the email and changed the details to his again... It said it would change within 24 hours.. 5 days later in Faro trying to get the car and they only have booking for my name. Asked nicely if I could change it now and they one just whole her head at us.. asked is there anyone we can contact and again she shakes her head at us. Rude and over priced

After reading horrendous reviews ab out Enterprise at Faro airport, I was very concerned booking with them but as our previous experiences with Enterprise have been positive I gambled. We had a very positive experience from collection to drop off, our car was in perfect condition and the staff serving us were helpful and didnt try and force any extras on us (we had our own excess insurance). Fortunately our car didnt have any scratches etc on which may have helped.

Watch your charges on toll roads make sure your clear on pre pay or not. .. Pay before you go and save in our case 38 pound... we didnt pay on booking ..bad move.ended up paying approx 60 pound more than believed charges . . despite paying for toll in advance still charged afterwards. car was good though..but ended up expensive.

I wasnt given a car and the money for the reservation wasnt returned. It was November 12 - 2023 in Faro. My confirmation number is 599760989. I wrote to the support service 5 times and called. So the money was never returned. Terrible service(

Warning! Record and take photos of every detail at pickup. Ive used enterprise many times and theyre great but this was awful. Charged nearly 200 euros for damage I couldnt have done. Was told at drop off they had photos of before so was forced to sign and then told they dont photograph the cars before. This is my mistake as I trust enterprise. I will never use these again.
Jessaye de faire lavis le plus objectif étant donné quil y a quelques semaines je scrutais les avis (souvent désastreux) des agence de location à Faro. Je me suis tourné vers Guerin, à deux pas de laéroport. Je suis arrivé vers 10h jai été pris directement, il y avait beaucoup de personnel disponible. Lenregistrement guidé par quelquun se fait sur une borne, il explique bien les péages (via un badge télépéage assez spécial au Portugal bien se renseigner), les potentiels assurances (toujours mieux de les prendre tout de même). Puis un autre collègue nous guide à la voiture nous faisons le tour avec lui, il nous montre les griffes et autres dommages déjà enregistrés, on peut lui dire den ajouter (il y a une taille minimum pour être comptabilisé, griffe supérieure à 2 ou 3cm environ). Jai remis le plein à Lagos (assez loin de Faro) et ils nont rien dit. Bien enlever le sable et rendre une voiture pas trop sale pour ne pas avoir les 30 de frais de lavage (prévenu également avant). Je recommande, après je ne sais pas sils sont embêtants pour les griffes et autres problèmes pouvant amener à des frais supplémentaires mais je nai pas eu ce genre de problème. Seul bémol les prix très cher durant lété.

Systematische Abzocke! Mir wurde gesagt, ich hätte vollen Versicherungsschutz. Nach drei Tagen hatte ich einen Plattfuß. Den Reifen für den Kleinwagen musste ich mit 185 bezahlen. Allein dieser Preis ist schon absolut unverschämt. Dafür bekommt man im teuren Deutschland zwei neue Reifen. Beim Ersatzauto wurde mir klar und deutlich gesagt, die Radkappen wären in der Vollkasko enthalten. Somit dachte ich, ich bräuchte mich nicht um bereits bestehende Kratzer an einer Radkappe sorgen, da sie ja über Vollkasko abgeglichen werden. Nach der Abgabe wurden mir 47 auf der Kreditkarte für eine verkratze Radkappe berechnet. Auch wurde ich beim Ersatzwagen nicht auf den unvollständig gefüllten Tank hingewiesen, was ich selber herausfinden musste. Wer das nicht zusammen mit dem Personal checkt, muss natürlich vollgetankt zurückbringen. Die Übergaben erfolgen sehr schnell und hektisch. Das wird meiner Meinung nach ganz vorsätzlich so vom Vermieter gesteuert. Reifen- und Glas-Schäden sind nicht versichert, auch wenn man dies meint abgeschlossen zu haben. Ich ärger mich nun mit dem ADAC, über die ich den Vertrag inklusive Reifen und Glas abgeschlossen habe, das Geld zurück zu bekommen. Leider scheinen meine Problemchen mit dem Vermieter auch vielen anderen so widerfahren zu sein, weshalb ich von systematischer Abzocke ausgehen muss. Auch scheinen diese Probleme bei allen anderen Airport-Vermietern vorhanden, weshalb es nichts bringen wird zur identisch organisierten Konkurrenz zu gehen.
Really good experience, and we got an exceptionally low price. Nice, friendly staff who didnt try to upsell us on any insurance or other extras. The car was one of the best Ive ever rented in the economy category, very new and with many advanced features.
AVOID!! We drove to hotel and back. They claimed there was damage on the middle edge of the door car costing $250 which was clearly there prior. No chance anyone would review each interior door edge upon inspection. I will obviously dispute this nonsense. Do not trust this company! Use any other if you don t want to be inconvenienced. This is the only bad car rental company / experience I have ever had too. They gave a number to call and email for disputes. Been two weeks and haven t responded to anything yet charges the exorbitant faulty charges. Please be careful people, avoid at all costs. I ve never given this bad of a review but this was pure robbery.
In the end I managed not to pay any extra amount but the vibe was very bad. A lot of gaslighting going on like laughing at you that why do you make car photos. Also pushing you that you have to pay cross border charge if you take the car to Spain - I insisted that I will not and that it is a single market without borders. Finally they accepted but noted that I would not get assistance if anything happens. All in all a very shady enterprise. Best avoided or approached with extreme caution.

Situated right next to the airport. Good value and they supplied us with a modern and clean car. There were a few scratches on the car but thats to be expected for hire cars. Efficient and quick pick up and drop off - no queue for either for me.
Je me suis présenté avec un devis de 91 euros pour 6 jours. Résultat : au moment de prendre ma carte bleue, ils ont argumenté que ma carte était une carte de débit ( une CB classique quoi), et que par conséquent si mon compte était vide, ils ne pourraient pas se faire rembourser en cas de dégâts. Seul option possible : prendre la full assurance : 260 euros pour 6 jours !!!!!! UN CONSEIL prenez le bus ligne 16 et allez louer en ville.

Leider kann man keine 0 Sterne vergeben. Absolut unfreundlicher Kundenumgang, die Kreditkarte wird mit 50 für einen möglichen leerenTank + 450 Kaution + 1189 Wert des Autos belastet (steht wohl irgendwo im Kleingedruckten, war in diesem Umfang bei bisherigen Mietwagen anderer Anbieter nie notwendig). Dazu kommt dann natürlich noch der eigentliche Preis (die ursprünglichen 190 ). Die Kreditkarte war für den restlichen Urlaub nicht mehr zu gebrauchen, zum Glück war die Unterkunft bereits bezahlt. Keinerlei Aufklärung bzgl. Maut, etc., selbst die unzähligen Lackschäden wurden nicht besprochen - man bekommt eine lange Liste ausgedruckt und muss diese dann abgleichen (alles nachts um 23.45 Uhr). Bitte wieder Enterprise!

Service rapide pour prendre la voiture comme pour la rendre. Certains employés parlent aussi français. Aucun problème concernant les rayures qui avaient été constatées au départ lors de la prise du véhicule. Résumé de la location: -350 de location pour 9 jours avec assurance complète en cas de dégât d une valeur inférieure à 960 . - 80 de taxe pour la location One way ( départ Lisbonne + arrivée Faro) - caution de 1200 . Je n ai pas pris le boîtier électronique pour les péages puisque je n ai pris que des nationales pour admirer le pays. Aucun frais n a été caché. Bref je recommande cette entreprise pour louer une voiture au Portugal.
Alles bestens. Schnelle, korrekte Abwicklung und das Auto fuhr einwandfrei. Es fehlte allerdings bei Unterschrift der Hinweis bzgl. vorhandener Mängel, die erst nach Ausdruck des Formulars mit Unterschrift ersichtlich wurden. Dbzgl. sollte man vorher die Mängel erfragen bzw. sich das Auto anschauen.

We didnt have to queue for too long as by the time we arrived the airport was not that busy. They provide Alamo cars as well as Enterprise is their oficial supplier in Faro. Not a problem, but please make sure you check all windows as well the bodywork and take pictures of every single damage.
Très inquiet par les commentaires, jai fait 5 photos des micro rayures avant de prendre la voiture mais aucun souci: délai très raisonnable à la prise du véhicule et à la restitution, aucun frais caché, voiture quasi neuve (7000 kms), tarif excellent (pas de surtaxe pour rendre la voiture un dimanche à 6h30 du matin, alors que tous les autres prennent des frais). je repasse par eux sans problème la prochaine fois. attention, contrairement à ce qui est mentionné sur le voucher, lagence est dehairs mais pas loin, marquée guerin en gros.

Slow service. Long queues. We waited over 45 minutes in hot sun to collect our car. Staff didnt seem to care at all. Usually very pleased with Enterprise in other countries, but the service at Faro airport branch was terrible.
