I originally was supposed to rent with Europcar at Faro Airport but due to some issues with my documentation I tried to reach out to them many many times. No one ever picked up their phone. To err on the conservative side, I started to reach out to a number of local car rental companies and then I came across Golfauto. Dina was super responsive to my messages so I decided to switch to them. Everything was transparent and the staff members are trustworthy. No sudden price increase in "insurance" or charges whatsoever. I returned the car at Lisbon and Luis was also very helpful in arranging the return. Aa such, I highly recommend Golfauto

Rented a car through sunnycars with Golfauto in the Algarve. Easy pickup at P2 Faro airport waited a representative. Fast checkin and instructions how the tollsystem works in Portugal. I had an unfortunate accident with the bumper. When returning the car for checkin the representative of Golfauto was easy going and relaxed with the damage and I felt less guilty about it. All the necessary papers were send to me for insurance. I can recommend this company. And will definitely rent again with them
We rented a car in September 2022 and were very happy with the car and the service. Golf Auto team was very responsive to emails and phone calls. Everything was as agreed: the vehicle, the price, the time of the pickup and the hand over. Obrigado!
PERFECT and very friendly communication before, during and after our vacation. We always got quick and precise answers. Also the best pick up we ever had. We met the guy from Golfauto in the arrival and walked 25 meters to the car and did the paper work there. Their gasoline rule is half full -half full. During our trip we had a little crack in the windshield from a little stone. we had booked the car via sunnycars, and verything was handled professionally. First Golfauto took the money for the damage from my credit card (it is the normal procedure), informed me about it and sent me all the documents needed. I forwarded them to sunnycars and got my Money back within 2 days. (about 300€) CLEAR RECOMMENDATION for Luis and his team!

Almost everything went smoothly. However, the failure to show up early in the morning for the return was easily resolved over the phone and the fee was refunded. Overall, highly recommended, gladly again!
Wszystko odby o si ksi kowo. Samochód czeka na nas od razu po przylocie, w kasie Volkswagen Polo lub podobne trafili my na nowiutkiego Peugeota 208 z android auto i niewielkim przebiegiem. Odbiór samochodu równie przebieg bezproblemowo - pani z wypo yczalni jeszcze przed czasem odbioru czeka a na nas na parkingu. Wszystko by o jasne i przejrzyste. Samochód by zadbany, czysty, nowoczesny i z niskim przebiegiem. Zatankowany by równie do pe na. Pani z wypo yczalni czeka a na nas ju od razu po przylocie, tak samo czeka a ju przed czasem na punkcie odbioru. Dodatkowo auto by o wyposa one w Via Verde, wi c nie musieli my si martwi jazd autostradami
Tutto perfetto, dalle pratiche di consegna auto alla riconsegna finale dopo una settimana. Inoltre risolto in tempo zero un disguido tecnico di addebito costo del noleggio. Paulo e Luis, sia telefonicamente che attraverso WhatsApp, sono stati davvero efficienti e molto presenti per qualsiasi dubbio. Nel prox viaggio in Portogallo saranno sicuramente i fornitori che contatteremo! Grazie ancora

Zeer goed auto en buitengewoon goede service. Nog nooit zo snel een auto opgehaald en weer ingeleverd, geen enkel probleem. Gewoon top!
Dieven!! Mensen blijf hier weg. Het lijkt goedkoop maar ze verzinnen de gekste dingen om je te beroven van je geld. Allereerst is de overdracht van de huurauto een ramp. Heb je eindelijk contact wordt de auto op een parkeerplaats door een medewerker met een mobieltje overgedragen, wat een armoede. Verder een prima auto mee gekregen weliswaar ruim in de beschadigingen maar dat wordt vastgelegd. Dan de inlevering van de auto, dan begint het pas echt. Een medewerker is onvindbaar op het vliegveld, telefonisch contact is nagenoeg onmogelijk, op het gemailde contract is geen nummer of iets te vinden. Dan eindelijk iemand van Golfboeven inc gevonden. Deze spreekt amper Engels maar naar blijkt is de auto OK bevonden na uitvoerige inspectie en tekent zowel zij als ik voor een correcte overdracht. Dan 2 uur later een bericht voorzien van wazige foto s en de tekst we found damages . Geen idee waar deze het over hebben, 100% zeker er zat geen enkele beschadiging meer aan de auto dan bij in gebruikname. Wel schrijven ze in no-time een bedrag van je rekening. Op berichten zwijgen ze in alle talen. Wanneer je opgelicht wil worden kies dan voor Golfauto rent a car te Faro Portugal.
Ich habe kürzlich ein Auto bei Golfauto gemietet und war absolut begeistert! Die Kommunikation war hervorragend, sowohl während des Buchungsprozesses als auch bei der Abholung des Fahrzeugs. Das Personal war äußerst freundlich und professionell, und das Auto selbst war in makellosem Zustand und fuhr einwandfrei. Die Rückgabe verlief reibungslos und schnell, ohne jegliche Probleme. Insgesamt war meine Erfahrung mit diesem Autoverleih ausgezeichnet, und ich kann ihn uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen!

Prima verhuurbedrijf. Je wordt bij aankomst opgewacht en alle formaliteiten werden snel afgehandeld. Ook kregen we uitleg over de auto en werd er gewacht tot alles duidelijk was en we wegreden. Betere service dan we gewend zijn! Toen er een alarmlichtje ging branden ( de ruitenvloeistof was bijna op) kwamen ze naar ons toe om het bij te vullen. De communicatie was prima. Niet aarzelen, gewoon bij Golfauto boeken!

We waren zeer tevreden met ontvangst en afleveren. Tot we twee dagen later een mail kregen dat de pen afgebroken was van de hoeden plank. 73 euro werd gereserveerd op. Cc. Maar de auto was niet gewassen bij aankomst en toen we de koffer in de kofferbak wilden doen zagen wij dat de hoedenplank scheef stond. Maar de dame was al weg. Bij inleveren zei de man alles okay. Vandaar onze verbazing 2 dagen later. Waarschijnlijk is dit al heel lang kapot sunny cars is er mee bezig. Heel jammer dit nooit gehad bij andere verhuur bedrijven
Très bonne expérience avec Golfauto. Nous avons loué en arrivant à Faro au bout dune heure la voiture était prête. Voiture nickel, rien à redire. Pas de frais cachés, tout est expliqué dès le départ (frais dautoroute prélevés 3 semaines après). En plus, lune des personnes parle très bien français, ce qui est vraiment un plus pour être sûr de tout comprendre ! Je recommande

We have rented a car for a number of years from Golfauto, from the airports both in Lisbon and in Faro. The personal service has always been outstanding, friendly and efficient. If you rent from Golfauto you never waste precious time standing at the counter of an international car rental company or waiting for the car to be delivered from their car park.
Excellent service, no more trekking up to the top car park to collect the car, agent waiting at arrivals and the car is just across the road, also all details taken in advance so its just sign the agreement and your off. Highly recommended

Além do excelente preço comparativamente a outras empresas o funcionário super prestável e que nos deu dicas fantásticas para aproveitar as nossas mini-férias - que nos permitiu conhecer locais fora dos roteiros e também alguns restaurantes na zona. Ich habe mich von Anfang bis Ende gut aufgehoben gefühlt! Alles war sehr reibungslos. Fernando hatte mir das Auto übergeben. Bei Fragen konnte ich mich jederzeit an ihn wenden. Die Rückgabe verlief auch ohne Probleme. Ana hatte bereits am vereinbarten Treffpunkt am Flughafen auf mich gewartet und die Übergabe war innerhalb von 5 Minuten erledigt. Vielen Dank den tollen Service!

Super Service! Anna erwartete uns am Meeting Point im Flughafen und übergab das Auto direkt auf dem Parkplatz 1, also ganz in der Nähe der Ankunftshalle. Auch die Rückgabe hat wunderbar geklappt. Unser Flug war bereits am frühen Morgen, um 06.20, und Anna erwartete uns zwischen 04.30 und 05.00 Uhr wieder auf dem Parkplatz 1. Die Zusatzgebühr von 35,00 haben wir gerne für diesen Früh-Morgens-Service bezahlt und haben uns so viel Stress erspart. Das Auto selbst war auch in Ordnung.
