Passez votre chemin ! Javais une réservation complète. En arrivant au comptoir un employé ma vendu une assurance 20 par jour alors que je lui ai dit que je ne voulais rien dautre. Avec mon portugais, il ma bien manipulée,! Fuyez cette agence ! Ajout dassurance forcé !

Je choisis Alamo pour le nom sécurisant (aucun souci dans dautres pays) , quel regret ! Alamo-Guérin : séjour de 5 jours. Je précise à la réception du véhicule que jai déjà une assurance supplémentaire avec rentalcar. Il facture 137 : je pense que cest pour le plein dessence comme dhabitude et que cest restituer ensuite. Ne voyant pas le remboursement, je relis le contrat, en fait, jai une assurance premium en sus facturé 137 ! ! ! finalement heureusement, en effet, au retour, inspection minutieuse de la voiture et on découvre des coups qui nétaient pas indiqués à laller... heureusement jai pris des photos au moment de la prise en charge. Finalement lagent me rassure car jai une assurance (que je navais pas demandé car javais rentalcar) qui couvre ces coups... BREF VOLEUR ET ARNAQUEUR.

Twee weken geleden auto gehuurd in Faro Algarve, die na 4 dagen buiten onze schuld mankementen vertoonde. Deze auto werd opgehaald en we moesten terug naar Faro per taxi waar we een nieuwe auto kregen. Hadden dus geen gelegenheid de tank zelf vol te vullen, die nog halfvol zat. Kregen daarvoor een rekening van 72 euro. Klacht ingediend, geen reactie ontvangen.

Sehr schnelle Abwicklung bei der Fahrzeugübergabe genauso bei der Rückgabe. Beides war in 5-10 Minuten erledigt. Das Fahrzeug, ein VW Polo war in einem sehr guten Zustand und es gab nichts zu reklamieren. Etwas irritierend war einmal der Versuch einem verschiedene Versicherungen zu verkaufen und es gab auch kein Protokoll über die vorhandenen Schäden am Fahrzeug zu Beginn des Mietverhältnisses. Als wir den Vermieter auf mehrere Kratzer hinwiesen, hieß es nur, wir sollten Fotos machen. Bei der Rückgabe des Fahrzeuges gab es keine Probleme. Deswegen beim nächsten Besuch an der Algarve gerne wieder ein Auto von Guerin!

Vorsicht Abzocke! Sie haben meine VISA Karte nicht akzeptiert, obwohl es eine offizielle VISA Karte ist (hatte noch NiE Probleme damit!) und genug Geld darauf zu Verfügung stand. Nie mehr!

Ich habe bereits zum dritten Mal über Sunny Cars ein Auto von Guerin bekommen, war die ersten beiden Male sehr zufrieden mit allem. Dieses Mal wurde mir leider eine zusätzliche Versicherung aufgeschwatzt von 179 obwohl ich bei Sunny Cars das Rundum Sorglos Paket gebucht hatte. Trotz Hin - und her Mails sowohl mit Sunny Cars als auch mit Guerin werde ich wohl mein Geld für die unnötige Versicherung nicht mehr bekommen. Aus diesem Grund möchte ich dort zukünftig kein Auto mehr mieten. Mittlerweile wurde mir nach E Mail Kontakt mit Guerin und auch mit Sunny Cars mein Geld zurück erstattet, was mich wirklich sehr gefreut hat

The Fawlty Towers of the car rental industry minus the humor We had a very disappointing experience with Guerin Faro. We had reserved a Nissan Qashqai, but when we arrived to pick up the car, we were offered a Toyota CH-R, which was claimed to be an equivalent vehicle. This is simply not true the Toyota CH-R is a compact car with significantly less space than the Nissan Qashqai. Instead of being offered a free upgrade, as is standard practice with other rental companies, we were forced to pay more than double the original price to upgrade to a station wagon to meet our needs. This was both unreasonable and poor customer service. I strongly advise others to be extremely cautious with Guerin Faro and to instead choose AVIS, SIXT, or any other company. Guerin seems to have a business model based on not delivering the car you booked and pushing customers into paying for an expensive upgrade. In hindsight, we probably should have refused to pay, but when it s late and you re holding an overtired baby in your arms, it s easy to prioritize that over arguing with Guerin. We have since tried to file a complaint via email at [email protected], but they don t respond. Guerin is simply a company to avoid at all costs!

Had a great time. Pick-up and dropof perfect. Very new clio wich was very nice!. Would go again with guerin. Only downside: watch for double insurance when booking with a Middleman.

Voor de tweede keer dit jaar een auto bij Guerin gehuurd en erg tevreden, er werden geen extra verzekeringen aangeprezen wel op gewezen, maar die keus ligt altijd bij jezelf. Snel op weg geholpen en bij het inleveren geen enkel probleem. Eigen fotos maken van binnen en buiten de auto voor vertrek voorkomt discussie over eventuele schade bij inleveren. Tol die achteraf nog betaald moet worden is volgens mij normaal.

Goede service, voor normale prijs. Onze gelijkaardige wagen was wel van iets mindere kwaliteit dan de voorgestelde wagen.

Honestly the car is very good and 1 employee I met when I returned the car is friendly. However the experience of picking up a car and extending the contract is bad. We booked the car and bought the full package of the insurance (from Rental Cover) via booking.com. However when we picked the car, the staff there spent more than 15 mins try to convince us to buy extra insurance to cover windows, tires ad wheels which is already covered by the insurance I bought, and they said booking.com is sharing the wrong information and the insurance from Rental Cover is not validated..... Moreover I was extremely frustrating when I was trying to extend my car contract because of the cancellation of my fly. I made > 15 calls and it took me > 1 hour until I reached the right people. Last but not least the car returning procedure is not clear: I parked the car and went to desk, but was told that I need to wait beside the car. after 15 mins someone came and check but it was slow..... I think they need to align with their partners (e.g. booking.com, Rental Cover) about the information shared with customers and give more trainings to their customer service employees ....

Réception du véhicule Ok. Tout est automatique, via des bornes. Par contre à lusage, jai dû ajuster la pression des pneus (alarme au tableau de bord). Remplir le lave-glaces. De plus, toujours sur le tableau de bord, lalarme entretien (pas réalisé) apparaissait en permanence. Parallèlement, sur la fin du séjour, ce fut les témoins danomalies du système de freinage qui sont apparus. Lors de la remise du véhicule, la demoiselle qui a réceptionné la voiture nous a gentiment signalé que ce nétait pas son problème et que ce nétait pas non plus le job de ses collègues de contrôler le véhicule lors de la remise... Donc, en fait, si je comprends bien, comme personne ne fait le suivi, ces voitures sont louées... jusquà la panne. Sympa pour lutilisateur en bout de chaîne...

I rented a car from Guerin at Faro airport between 22 and 30 September 2024. Everything was normal during the rental. I left the car at Faro airport at around 4:30 in the morning, so the car was not inspected when the car was returned, as expected when a car is returned outside of business hours. A day later - 1 October - they sent an email (from an email address that does not accept replies) informing me that they had charged me for damage to a wheel rim ( 214.50) and charged my credit card immediately before giving me a chance to respond. I do not recognise this damage, but the charge is already on my card. I asked for photos of how the wheel rim looked before and after my rental and only on 15 October did I receive a photo of how the wheel supposedly looked after I returned the vehicle. I asked for a photo of the wheel rim before I picked up the car again and Im still waiting for that photo today (November 4th). Moral of the story: Be careful when renting from Guerin, especially if you are returning the car outside of business hours. I had 2 more rentals booked with Guerin this year on October 18th (2 days in Porto) and December 14th (6 days in Faro) and I cancelled them and booked with other rental cars.

unfriendly liars! They were very unfriendly and pushy to take extra local insurance although I already had full coverage from booking agency. I said NO. I got a stinking dented rundown car. At drop off they said perfect condition ... now I get a bill of 1180 euros!!! Disgusting people they are, genuine thiefs! Dont rent there!

Bij het ophalen van de auto probeerde een chagrijnige dame ons een verzekering aan te smeren van 153. Wij hadden al via booking een verzekering afgesloten en dus geweigerd. Hierom 1 ster minder. Auto was super! Geen problemen mee gehad & het terugbrengen ging helemaal goed. Natuurlijk is het wel slim om altijd foto s te maken voor het wegrijden.

Faut aller dans les autres agences que chez eux... Je récupère la voiture et personne de chez eux ne vient faire le tour avec moi. Je vérifie la carrosserie, prend des photos des dégâts présents. En partant de laéroport, le voyant de pression de pneus est allumé, je vérifie à une station service, les pressions sont bonnes. Je ramène la voiture à laéroport, on me dit que le compresseur pour gonfler les pneus nest pas présent et on me facture 360 . Alors que le fameux compresseur nétait pas présent au départ. Laéroport ne veut rien savoir et demande de voir avec le service client, qui discute avec laéroport et qui ne cherche pas à comprendre ma version, je discute avec la patronne de lagence qui est daccord avec moi mais que ça doit être géré avec le service client. Du coup, dans tout les cas, les 360 du compresseur en platine/or 18 carats est à ma charge. Petit conseil: faut demander une impression du contrat, faire le tour de la voiture (et même létat des pneus, si ya la roue de secours, le compresseur, lantenne, la radio et jen passe), tout noter et retourner au bureau pour leur faire signer à leur tour... Bon en résumé, en français, leur pratique çà sappelle du vol...

Bonjour, Si je peux vous conseiller du mieux que je peux c est de ne jamais avoir affaire avec eux ! J ai réservé un véhicule pour 4 jours que j ai rendu le 1er septembre. La caution sur ce véhicule était de 300 . Nous sommes le 15 novembre 2024 et je n ai toujours rien sur mon compte après avoir relancé pendant plus d un mois consécutif. Attention aux mensonges tout préparé : - il y a un blocage sur votre compte dû à votre banque ce qui fait que nous ne parvenons pas à vous rembourser - le remboursement sera visible après 5 jours - je transmets votre demande au service en charge (Apio grand compte, qui ne daigne pas donner le moindre signe de vie) - ne vous inquiétez pas nous sommes sur le sujet + 500 dépenser auprès de cette compagnie désastreuse qui m a presque dégoûté complètement du séjour. Et malheur à vous si vous comptez leur faire confiance !!! Leur service après vente est LA-MEN-TA-BLE, c est presque indigne de l hospitalité du pays. N* de contrat 4917973 > toujours rien de créditer sur mon compte ! C est une HONTE

Fuyez, cette agence est une arnaque. Vous faites létat des lieux seuls, avec la possibilité de prendre en photos les défauts éventuels de la voiture. Sauf que les photos sont enregistrée par leur application, plus moyens de les récupérer tout est fait exprès pour vous arnaquer : prenez des photos avant et après de TOUTE la voiture. On nous a débités 130 pour une jante que nous navons jamais endommagé. Évidemment nous ne lavions pas prise en photo... Pas sérieux du tout et partenaire Booking inadmissible quils puissent sassocier avec eux. Surtout évitez de passer par cette agence!

ATTENTION !!!! vous devez savoir que cette entreprise de location malhonnête vous facturera doffice des réparations après votre restitution de lauto. Ils inventent des dégâts, malgré des photos faites et envoyées comme preuve, ils ne veulent rien savoir et vous vole votre argent. Entreprise arnaque, une honte et on fait confiance car proposé par Booking... À fuir à tout prix !

Finger weg von Guerin Faro Airport. Ich habe ein Auto von Guerin übernommen. Bei Übergabe gibt es keinen Mitarbeiter mehr der mit dem Kunden bekannten Mängel durchgeht. Das muss der Kunde jetzt selber erkennen und fotografieren. Offensichtliche Mängel habe ich fotografiert. Bei Rückgabe würde mir ein Mangel an der Unterseite des Wagens belastet, der bei Übergabe nicht ersichtlich war. Guerin erwartet offensichtlich das ich mich mit einer Taschenlampe unter den Wagen lege. Ich habe 2 mal Guerin customer relation gemailt mit Fotos aber die haben nicht geantwortet. Niemals mehr miete ich ein Auto von Guerin, man wird hier echt hinters Licht geführt.

Zeer snelle check in, vriendelijke medewerkers. Auto was praktisch nieuw. Inleveren geen enkel probleem. Prima ervaring!

VORSICHT!!! Wir haben schon Dutzende Male in ganz Europa und USA Autos gemietet. Immer ohne Probleme. Hier wurde bei der Rückgabe ein Kratzer am Felgen bemängelt, der angeblich vorher nicht da war. Uns wurde gesagt, wir hätten bei Abholung des Wagens alles selbst kontrollieren sollen. Außen und innen und davon Fotos machen. Wir hatten auch das Gefühl, dass die kontrollierende Frau als erstes zu diesem Kratzer am Felgen gegangen ist. Sie wusste also bescheid. Hier sind Betrüger am Werk.

Wir haben im September einen Mietwagen gebucht. Wir waren mit den Mitarbeitern vor Ort und mit dem Wagen zufrieden. Als wir den Wagen zurückgaben, stellte der Mitarbeiter fest, dass am Autoschlüssel etwas defekt war: der darin steckende mechanische Notschlüssel (falls die Batterie leer ist) fehlte; er war herausgebrochen. War das schon bei Beginn der Fahrzeugmiete der Fall? Wir haben das bei Beginn nicht kontrolliert. Wir haben auch nicht bemerkt, dass während unserer Nutzung etwas passiert ist, wodurch der Metall-Schlüssel herausgebrochen wurde. Wir mussten ca. 900 für die Reparatur bezahlen. Das erschien uns sehr hoch. Eine Rechnung über die durchgeführte Reparatur haben verlangt, aber wir nicht bekommen. Unsere E-mails dazu wurden nicht beantwortet.

Guerin provided excellent service for our rental. Although we initially booked an SUV, we were able to negotiate for a Volvo V60 AWD, which made the trip even better. We found a few charging stations during our travels, and for a whole week of driving, we only spent 20 on fuel. The typical concerns we have with car rentals no longer apply the world is going electric, though the Algarve still has some catching up to do with charging infrastructure. The rental agreement was straightforward, and the staff were friendly and helpful.

Nous n avons pas fait le tour de la voiture à l arrivée car d après le vendeur j allais recevoir un mail sur lequel serait indiqué les éraflures. Je n ai rien reçu. Mais comme je n ai pas eu de problème, tout s est bien passé. Lorsque l on rend le véhicule, cette fois, on reçoit bien un mailavec les chocs avant d avoir pris la voiture et après. Si j avais eu un problème, je ne sais pas comment cela se serait passé ?

3 weken geleden heb ik een auto gehuurd via Guerin. Renault Clio gekregen die na 2 dagen kapot ging buiten mijn schuld om. Krijg ik een mail dat ik 61,94 euro extra moet betalen voor het niet bij vullen van de brandstof. Gelijk na dit bericht heb ik een Mail gestuurd met bezwaren. Tot op heden nog geen reactie ontvangen.

Como a de lisboa a de faro tambem nao fica atras, meu voo foi adiantado em 1 hora e nao me deixaram levantar a viatura que ja estava disponivel, perguntei se poderia pagar a diferença de uma hora disseram que tinha que pagar mais uma diaria! Nao recomendo a ninguem! Barato que sai caro! Realmente nao sabem como fidelizar os clientes!

Betrüger! Bei der Abgabe des Mietwagens wurde alles gecheckt und geklärt, die Mitarbeiterin sagte uns es sei alles in Ordnung und wünschte uns einen schönen Abend. Einen Tag später kommt eine Rechnung über 68 EUR über einen angeblichen Schaden, den wir verursacht haben, was völliger Quatsch ist. Wieso wurde das dann nicht schon bei der Abgabe geregelt? Seitdem (mittlerweile 5 Wochen) haben sie meine Kaution behalten und nicht wieder zurückgebucht, obwohl wir den angeblichen Schaden schon längst bezahlt haben. Der Kundenservice ist komplett unbrauchbar (auch die Antworten bei Google Maps verweisen auf diesen Kundenservice), man bekommt keine Antwort. Schlechteste Erfahrung aller Zeiten.

SCAM! I don t write reviews much but this is pure scam. We rented a car, took pictures of all existing damage. after dropping it off early in the morning because of an early flight, we used the key drop service. A day later they took 560 from our credit card for damages that were already there. Still fighting to get our deposit back but they just ignore us and our proof. Never ever rent a car here.

Keine Empfehlung für diese Mietwagenfirma. Fühle mich betrogen. Bei Abgabe wurden sofort kleine Schäden an zwei Felgen festgestellt. Die aber nicht von mir stammen. Habe leider bei Übernahme keine Fotos von den Felgen gemacht. Deshalb wurde der Schaden mir in Rechnung gestellt. Es waren knapp 800 Euro. Ich werde bei Guerin nie wieder ein Auto mieten.

Enkel geweest voor het inleveren van onze auto. Afhaling was in porto. Enkele minuten bij de balie staan wachten. Er was geen personeel te bekennen. Hierna werden wij geholpen door een wat sacherijnige meneer. Er werd een nieuwe kras ontdekt op de auto. Gelukkig hebben wij bij afhalen van de auto alle schade gefotografeerd, hierdoor konden wij aantonen dat de kras niet nieuw was. Verdere afhandeling verliep direct wat onvriendelijker. Uiteindelijk zonder gezeur de auto in kunnen leveren.

Flotte und professionelle Abwicklung bei Guerin in Faro. Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich. Bei Fahrzeugen mit Autogas (LPG) und Benzin Möglichkeit, ist das Fahrzeug auf Benzin Modus eingestellt und es ist auch nur Benzin zu tanken. Für die Maut auf der Autobahn (z.B. A22) war im Fahrzeug ein Via Verde Transponder angebracht. Kostet zwar ist aber überaus praktisch.

Ich habe das, über Sunnycar gebuchte Fahrzeug in Faro am Flughafen, in sauberem Zustand, mit 13000 km und vollgetankt entgegengenommen. Habe vorher den angebotenen Checkin gemacht und hatte keine Wartezeit am Schalter. Ebenfalls die Rückgabe erfolgte schnell und ohne Probleme. Noch am selben Tag bekam ich eine genaue Abrechnung, was die Autobahngebühren betrifft.

Hoe Geurin een leuke vakantie verpest door slechte rapportage vanuit het bedrijf.. Wat een grote grap zeg. Ze raden je aan bij het op halen foto s te maken van schade op de auto en dat hadden we gedaan van bestaande krassen en deukjes. We hebben mooie ritten gehad met de Hyundai Kauai. Bij het inleveren van de auto in Lissabon stuiten ze op missende touwtjes van de hoedenplank. Daar hebben wij geen foto s van, want wie valt dat op? (Aanrader: maak OOK foto s vanuit elke hoek van de binnenkant). De vorige klanten hadden ook geen foto s er van gemaakt, dus weer geen bewijs dat het al weg was. We hadden een eigen selfie gevonden dat er aan 1 kant al touwtjes mistten, maar dat was helaas niet genoeg als bewijs. Wie moet er nu 450 betalen voor een gehele plank waar 2 touwtjes van missen die er al niet op zaten.. WIJ?! Ik vraag me af of de vorige klanten dan ook hebben betaald voor de touwtjes als zij geen foto s hadden. Je handtekening moet je uiteindelijk wel zetten, want je kan niks anders.. Ik haat onrecht en daar heb ik echt wat van gevoeld op dat moment. Helaas bedankt voor deze ervaring Geurin. - Savannah

After hours of searching and reading reviews of various rental companies I decided to go ahead with Guerin. The booking process was straight forward and I got a good price for a family car (estate). I chose the basic cover and booked my own insurance separately. I checked in online before my trip providing all info required. On arrival I was greeted by friendly staff and directed to a self checkout machine. I had to confirm a couple bit of info again which took no more than 5 minutes. I was given my keys to an upgraded vehicle, ford kuga which couldn t have been better with 2 young children and me being 6 8. Car worked perfectly. It had a number of scratch and dents. They don t come with you to do a check on the car beforehand and tell you to take photos and videos of car conditions. The car park is tight so getting out was a little tricky but we were away in no time. Drop off was even more straight forward. Greeted by a very friendly lady who took her time to talk to the kids and ask out our trip. And went to get us a trolly as we had car seats, suitcases and a travel cot to transport, going above and beyond! A quick once over of the car condition and a signature and we were away. The security block was taken off my credit card almost immediately. I will absolutely be using Guerin again. Best rental experience I ve had by a long way. I don t using leave reviews but felt this one really deserved the positive review!

A dishonest car rental company who makes these customers take out unsolicited additional insurance!! No customer service, 273 more for premium gold pack insurance, supposedly impossible to negotiate a refund To flee !!!!

Sehr korrekte und vor allem transparente Abwicklung. Keine Wartezeit. Deutschsprachige Terminals die selbsterklärend sind und EVENTUELLE Extras mit Kosten anzeigen. Diese sind nicht voreingestellt, so dass man keine Extras bekommt wenn man sie nicht ausdrücklich auswählt. Auf Wunsch hilft ein Mitarbeiter. Auch hier: Keinerlei Aufschwatzen von weiteren Versicherungen oder ähnliches. Das Auto war im sehr guten Zustand. Für mich war alles perfekt und ich habe schon viele Mietwagen auf der ganzen Welt angemietet.

Entreprise aux pratiques douteuses. Escroquerie en bande organisé pour une voiture qui na pas été contrôlée au retour. Arnaque à la rayure, un classique. 300 euros. Une plainte sera déposée à la répression des fraudes de la cour européenne. A fuir.

Lamentable. Nous avons loué une voiture dans cette entreprise, lorsque le véhicule nous a été confié, nous avons constaté quelques rayures et dégâts (pare choc avant). Nous avons pris des photos, en cas darnaque potentielle. Aucun état des lieux na été réalisé en notre présence. 2 jours après la restitution du véhicule, un mail nous a été adressé comprenant la facture des sois disant dégâts sur le pare choc avant, sélevant à 430 . Hors, les dommages étaient déjà présents lorsque nous avons pris le véhicule. Létat des lieux retour a également été réalisé en notre absence. Entreprise à fuir absolument, nous allons porter plainte et signaler une fraude (European Anti-Fraud Office), et par la même occasion, les pourrir sur les réseaux et auprès des autres agences de location Guerin. Ce sont des voleurs, résultat, on travaille pour payer leur p***** darnaque. Fuyez.

Wir haben ein Fahrzeug (Renault Capture) in Faro am Flughafen abgeholt und sind damit bis nach Porto Flughafen gefahren. Während der Abholung wurde man ausführlich durch das Buchungssystem geführt. Es wurde einem selbst die Wahl wegen einer Zusatzversicherung oder ähnlichem überlassen. Das Auto hatte keinerlei Mängel ( gerade mal 3800km Fahrleistung) und hat uns auf ca. 1800km begleitet :). Auch die Rückgabe in Porto verlief reibungslos und ohne versteckte Kosten. Die Fahrzeugvermietung ist sehr zu empfehlen. Wichtig ist, dass man eine ausreichend gedeckte Kreditkarte (keine Debitkarte) für die Kaution hat!

Just rented a Corolla estate for 3 weeks from Guerin in Faro. I took a video of the car before driving out. When I returned the employees immediately noticed one rim of the car having some scratches on the edge claiming these whether I have photo evidence these were already there. I immediately told them I have video but they ignored that and said without photos they were going to charge me. I then pulled out the video which showed the rim and after seeing the evidence they said to speak to the manager. The manager (Maria Filomena Dionisio) said send the video to an email address but I had to pay for damages. I then put the phone on her face and told her I have evidence here to show it was already scratched. After raising my tone calling them scam artists they said ok we ll close the account with no damages . But they failed to acknowledge that they need to report the damage on the car for the next clients, otherwise they will risk being scammed too. Upon further thought given the body of the car at the back right wheel sticks out, for the rim to be scratched (given the back wheel cannot turn) the body of the car around the wheel had also to be damaged. This likely means that the body of the car was fixed in a previous incident but the slight rim scratch was kept in place for exactly the reason to scam clients.

If you would potentially rent a car, make sure to take a video of the full car from 5 centimeter distance. They will charge you for previous damages if you cant proof it was you. Luckily enough, we could proof it with a video. All the employees can do is refer to policy, proper answers are too difficult. I would recommend other rental companies. It looks like it is their business model to keep charging the damaged towards all next people who rent the car. They do not register any damages. Responsibilitys it all with the customer.

We were given a completely damaged car, so we had to change ours during the course of our rental. At first we were told that we would have to pay for the damage, and only after a long discussion they apologised and gave us a new car. As a gesture of goodwill, we were even exempted from the toll costs. At least that s what they said. Despite written confirmation of the agreement, attempts have been made to debit my account for over a year. Emails lead nowhere. At most, you are harassed with even more stupid payment requests. miserable service, which resembles deliberate fraud, which seems to be systematic

Fined £250 for 3mm mark on alloy which was already there. Avoid this scam company at all costs!!!

Fantastic company to deal with, we had an issue with the rental car. I contacted the dedicated support line my call was answered immediately, I explained my situation with the car, 45 minutes later a truck was there collected the car, I was then in a taxi supplied by Guerin back to Faro for a replacement car. I was back on the road again in 90 minutes. I must say I was very impressed with the service from start to finish. I ve used most of the rental companies in Faro airport and surrounds at this stage and I can safely say Guerin are by far the best! They delivered excellent value, service and customer care. Their employees on the ground are a credit to the company, always a smile and nothing a problem. Highly recommend Guerin

Rental was OK. For those going there from NL - you can use a Bunq credit card ( make sure to have enough money in your account). All went great at pickup, the car was new and clean.A minus point at drop off - we dropped off the car at 5am but the QR codes (on the pillars in front of the building) for the self checkout did not work - we got an error message. The checkout was fortunately completed by Guerin themselves after we left the car there and when they started work.

Réservé par internet arrivé à l agence accueil correct et nous devons faire notre enregistrement sur une borne automatique mais c est en Français. Personne qui nous accompagne pour la réception de la voiture et nous présente les défauts et nous informe de faire des photos. Guerin nous envoi une adresse pour faire le plein de gazoline. station de l aéroport mais prix dans la moyenne basse. Retour parfait rien à redire personnels compétents. Bcp d avis négatifs j avais peur mais ça été! Prenez l assurance pour rembourser la franchise ça rassure.

Betrifft: Abholung eines Fahrzeuges Eine absolute Top Adresse im Bezug auf Mietwagen für den Urlaub. Sofort nach dem Betreten der Servicestelle wird man außerordentlich freundlich unterstützt bei der Eingabe aller Daten. All das geschieht total nutzerfreundlich und in der Sprache der Wahl. Die Mitarbeiter erklären alles verständlich, was man für die Zeit wissen muss und jubeln einem keine Versicherungen oder sonstige Zusätze unter. Besonders positiv fällt auf, dass man aufgefordert wird, das Auto gründlich zu fotografieren, um für sich selbst auszuschließen, dass man für einen Schaden belangt wird, mit dem man nichts zu tun hat. Die Auswahl der Autos inkl. Ausstattung ist hevorragend. Kann jedem nur wärmstens empfehlen, einen großen Bogen um die üblichen Anbieter zu machen.

War vor ein paar Jahren schon mal da, war auch ok, diesmal echt besser als erwartet. Die Dame am Schalter war super schnell und hilfsbereit, hat uns keinen Quatsch aufgeschwatzt und der Selfcheckout funktioniert erstaunlich gut. Klar, war noch off-Season, aber wir hatten das Auto in 10 Minuten, Babyschalenwar da und die Rückgabe war ähnlich schnell. Abrechnung hat auch gepasst. Gerne wieder

Pathetic experience! - Started with a decent car, car broke down because of engine issue, they replaced the car and later charged me 700 euros quoting contaminated fuel, I filled it via regular BP service station, no way escalate - hardly response to email. On top of it, its been around 10 days but they have not returned even a part of the deposit. In the 700 euros they charged refueling fine (25 euros) and charge for fully fuelling the car: - The car showed issues on highway, had no way to refuel as car had errors - The cost of fuel they charged for more than the capacity of the car in liters (45) x cost of fuel in portugal Again no way to escalate! Be really cautious if you are from another country and have no way to go back and get things resolved with them

If the car has existing engine issues - they will charge you for getting it sorted quoting random problems that you cannot have a check on like contaminated fuel (its not Petrol filled instead of Diesel)

They do a great service. The only thing, I had to go around 3 times lol as I couldnt find how to get to them when you have to drop the car. So, you go to the airport parking lot, but ignore the last sign and take it right at the very end. Hope that helps.

My plane arrived with 1h30 of delay consequence I picked up my car at 10 past midnight instead of before midnight. What a surprise I had Guerin decided to charge me 44 eur because I was 10 minutes late.

Rented a Toyota Corolla which was brand new with additional extra s such as Wireless Apple CarPlay. The check-in was super smooth on the terminals with staff available throughout if there were any additional questions. During our rental period we encountered some issues with the car and reported these to Guerin customer service. Guerin were very supportive and logged the case and offered a replacement car for us. Very impressed with the customer service and responsiveness - would definitely book again if we return to the Algarve.

Hatten für einen Fiat Panda für 7 Tage für einen super Preis. Vor Ort gab es noch mal ein kurzes check-in mit zusätzliches Infos zu Mautgebühren etc. Insgesamt eine total schnelle und freundliche Abwicklung - meiner Meinung nach auch sehr transparent. Ich war am Anfang wegen der Bewertungen auch skeptisch, aber ich würde hier ohne zu zögern erneut ein Auto mieten.

Gebucht war ein Renault Clio oder ähnliches. Abholung des Mietwagens lief einwandfrei ab und die Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich und haben alle Fragen beantwortet. Die Rückgabe hat 2 Minuten gedauert und auch hier war die Mitarbeiterin sehr sehr freundlich. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Rented a Hyundai Kauai for a few days. Check in process is quite quick with terminals to enter details. No hard sell on insurance. Nice new car with 9000km, couple of marks on it which I reported on the checkout report. When returning the car, I would have expected the marks I reported to automatically be noted for the staff to see on check in rather than having to show the report on my phone. Other than that, I am very happy with Guerin at Faro and would use them again.

Booked a small car for a few days via Alamo, but Guerin handle their booking at this location. The car had a fault that put on a warning light when indicating (blown blub), so had to quickly return to their office. The staff couldnt have been more friendly and helpful sorting this out, they had me in a replacement car which was a slightly bigger/better model in a matter of minutes. No hard sell of extras, easy collection/return and the replacement car ran perfectly. Even my credit card deposit was returned in a matter of hours. Would definitely use them again.

Guerin Faro airport Just back from the Algarve. Best car rental experience in 15 years going to Portugal. Collection to car 10 minutes. On return JULIE went the extra mile and ran me to the terminal after an injury on holiday.

Rented a car with a defective GPS, and the oil light on before I got it. Was told to drive it anyway. It ran fine. But Its been nearly a month and still no refund of 77 for the faulty GPS unit! Thats over $112.Cdn. They keep stalling. Disgusted at the dishonesty.

To run away, its a trap! When you collect the car, NO inspection is done. Then, when you return the car, they invent damages on the car and charge you a few extra hundreds! To get things even worse, they charged us twice because the system was slow and now I see there are two transactions on my card. A total of 800 hundred euros taken from my account just like this ...

They have charged me full day extra fee for returning the car 50 mins before (!!!) the time I expected to drop it off. They have explained it to me as a system fault (like I had to return it 10 min before I did, although I have booking confirmation in hand) and the can do nothing but to charge and assured me that they will refund once I contact the customer service. I have already contacted them and will update the review if they react. But at the moment it seems like absolutely unpleasant experience. UPD: Customer Service refused to provide refund. Stay of away from this company!

Theres a big controversy about this rental in reviews. However, its individual experience I guess. We rented a small Seat Ibiza. The staff was super kind and helpful. All external damages were already carefully listed in the rental agreement before we picked it up. Car was clean and in good shape. Still, having the fear we might be charged additionaly for damage after drop off we took the full insurance. Which was not necessary. Make sure you take toll included if you decide to travel quite a bit. We are absolutely satisfied and our fears were not fulfilled. Deposit arrived next day, even though not in full, or maybe it was a misunderstanding (there was 3 amounts deducted and and only one arrived). The only drawback is that to return the car you have to cross double solid line, which is violation of the traffic rules. Thus 4 stars.

Car collection and return next to Faro terminal. All staff very helpful quick collection and return with no problems. Car came with electronic tag for motorway tolls, which are charged after return to credit card. Would use this company again.

Reviews here are of course based on personal experience, and after renting cars at Faro a number of times, this was the worst experience I have had. Upon returning the car, a small scratch was noted on a plastic hubcap. I was charged over 100 Euros for this but assured that I could request photos from the company showing the hubcap before the damage I allegedly caused. The response to my emailed request for the photos was essentially to get stuffed and that they would keep the extortionate charge. I was not the only person in the office having this experience on that day and would strongly urge others to avoid Guerin.

The staff ( both ladies in the office as well as the young gentleman doing the hand over ) were very curteous and polite, answering all my questions. There was absolutely no upsell or presure to buy other services. The car was in good shape, only 4k on the clock, clean and did pretty much everything you expected of it. Babyseat was sealed and also clean, no issues here. Can definitely recommend.

Smooth and uncomplicated transaction. Cheap rental, no need for additional insurance. Employees are nice. Highly recommended.

I am accused of harm that I did not commit. You can clearly see this in the pictures I took earlier. I wrote them an email but it was ignored. I definitely wont rent a car there again.

Good service during pick up. Only suggested extra was automatic road tax payments, which we took for convenience (1,85/day). We booked through Sunnycars and everything was as expected and no extra insurances were offered to us. Car was good, clean and all existing damages were noted down in their system. When returning the car, they did a quick check and everything was good after which we received the report.

Odmówiono pokazania mi ich zdj wykonanych przed wydaniem mi auta. Bardzo nieuprzejm obs ug, wykorzystuj ca fakt ze klient spieszy si na samolot i nie ma czasu n spór. Ponadto podejrzane wydaje si ze uszkodzenie nie przekracza kwoty wk adu w asnego prywatnego ubezpieczenia, tak jakby chcieli unikn ewentualnego dochodzenia ze strony ubezpieczalni.

Car we received was extremely good and brand new - it only had done something like 1000 kms. However they need to adjust some things that give stress to customers. For instance, when you return the car I had to sign something on a tablet which I was not allowed to read. So you have no clue about what you are signing. They told me everything was ok with the car but not knowing what you are signing doesnt feel well to me. The locked amount on your credit card stays locked for too long and makes you wonder why. Also, suddenly an amount from Guerin had gone off my creditcard without knowing what it was. After asking it was about the toll, which is fine offcourse but please communicate better to your customers so they actually know what is going on. Anyway, Julie Rowntree from Guerin did an excellent job helping me and I would like to thank her for that. So yes, they can do a few things better but the car was really good and the customer service is very helpful and kind.

Ordered Nissan Qashqai from Faro airport beginning of the year (2023) through Jet2 for two weeks starting 23/06/2023, on arrival I was taken to the car. Now the car park for Guerin is full of next to new cars but this car can only be described as slightly used, and dated, 71000KM on the clock and quite a few dents and scratches on the car, it took a while to take photographic evidence of said dents and scratches, anyway car ran smooth, was clean inside,no issues and on returning the car they had a quick look around confirmed ok, no charge signed a tablet and that was it, it s the second time I ve used Guerin and would use again from Faro airport.

Die Wahl fiel auf Guerin, da eine Vollkasko ohne Selbstbeteiligung auch bei Fahrern unter 23 angeboten wurde, was sich bei anderen Anbietern schwierig gestaltete. Die Buchung war unkompliziert und alles wurde direkt per Mail versendet, die Station ist 2 Min Fußweg vom Terminalausgang entfernt und die Übergabe erfolgte innerhalb von nichtmal 10 Minuten. Das Auto war wie vereinbart und sehr sauber und hochwertig. Die Rückgabe ging ebenfalls problemlos, falls wir nach dem vereinbarten Zeitpunkt erst da gewesen wären, hätte man uns eine Kulanzzeit eingeräumt. Keine versteckten Kosten (außer natürlich evtl anfallende Maut auf der Autobahn). Jederzeit wieder.

The worst experience ever. They charged me money for a small crash despite there was full declared responsibility from the other driver. After 3 months I have not received the money back. They Don t reply ti the phone. Their phone line doesn t work and they don t reply to the emails. Workers are bad treated by a management which only look for profits on the shoulder of clients and stressed workers.

Teníamos la hora de entrega del coche a las 5:30h pero lo entregamos a las 00:20h y ningún problema, el día de la entrega nos explicaron dónde dejar la llave y muy fácil todo.

Seit Jahren ein perfekter und kundenorientierter Anbieter. Wir haben wiedermal ein Auto bei Guerin gemietet. Wie immer war der Service perfekt. Die Mitarbeiter sind mehr als höflich und zuvorkommend. Neu für uns waren die Self-service-Geräte, die das ganze Leihen noch bequemer machen, da die Sprache problemlos auf Deutsch bzw. andere Sprachen einzustellen ist. So ist jeder Schritt verständlich und wer wollen würde, könnte sich den gesamten Vertragstext auf deutsch durchlesen. Es wird auch so keine Versicherung ungewollt zusätzlich abgeschlossen bzw. gibt es so gar nicht die Möglichkeit, dass jemand - was bei Guerin auch früher niemals der Fall war - versucht eine zusätzliche Versicherung zu verkaufen. Was bei Guerin ebenfalls beeindruckend ist, ist dass wir bisher (seit über 15 Jahren) immer sehr gute und neuwertige Fahrzeuge erhalten haben. Dieses Jahr hatte das Fahrzeug erst rund 3.000 km runter. Besonders zu erwähnen sind die zwei Herren, die bei der Aus- bzw. Rückgabe der Fahzeuge arbeiten. Sehr jung, aber ausgesprochen höflich und hilfsbereit. Sogar ein kurzes Gespräch über die Erlebnisse in Portugal wurde geführt. Unser erneutes Fazit: Wir würden jederzeit wieder bei Guerin ein Fahrzeug leihen. Guerin hat in den letzten Jahren den schon bisher hohen Anspruch an Kundenzufriedenheit noch weiter ausgebaut und ist absolut empfehlenswert. Vielen Dank!

Honestly they just try to rush you in and out when you re trying to book a car when i arrived the lady was rushing me and never told me anything about what im signing watch out they do a 500 security deposit and will give it back after return i just returned it and was charged a 50 fee for not filling the tank up before returning..but again as im saying they never told me that i had to fill it up before returning it to begin with the car was fine everything was ok just horrible customer service.

Quick and easy to book and collect car. They do scare monger you into buying the extra protection. Drop off was easy and they didnt try and look for any false damage (as Budget do).

Wir haben nach wie vor unsere Kaution nicht zurück erhalten, obwohl das Auto wie bekommen zurück gegeben wurde. Es gab keine Schäden und uns wurde gesagt, dass wir die Kaution in 5 Werktagen zurück hätten. Auf E-Mails bekommen wir keine Antwort. Das gemietete Auto, ein Opel Corsa hatte 55000 km runter. Es hatte schon etliche Beulen und Kratzer. Ist für Madeira aber kein Einzelfall. Es wurden alle Macken dokumentiert. Rückgabe lief problemlos. Es wurden uns keine Schäden untergejubelt. Wir haben bei Guerin zum zweiten mal gebucht und werden es in Zukunft wieder machen. Aus unserer Sicht völlig seriöses Unternehmen. Dass bei der Anmietung versucht wird eine höhere Fahrzeugklasse zu vermieten und dass zusätzliche Versicherungen angeboten werden ist zwar etwas nervig aber normal. Machen alle. La nostra esperienza con Guerin è stata pessima. Al ritiro al aeroporto di Faro ci è stata consegnata una VW benzina e non una hyundai gasolio come era scritto. La macchina risultava con dei graffi e abbastanza sporca. Per procedere al pagamento ti assistono,ti stanno vicino ma una volta che paghi ti arrangi, non ti aiutano in niente. Ti lasciano allo sbaraglio Ti fanno fare il check in in autonomia, senza troppe indicazioni e spiegazioni. E li ci è stato detto che al ritorno ,alla consegna, dovevamo fare dassoli il check out e qui inizia l inferno! Il codice qr appeso davanti ai uffici non funzionava l! Nonostante abbiamo avvisato che saremo arrivati alle 4:30 e il volo era alle 7:45 ci hanno detto di stare tranquilli che ci sarebbe stato qualcuno che ci assisteva. Non c era nessuno! Uffici chiusi, aprivano alle 6 e ci siamo ritrovati con la macchina in mano, assistenza non risponde essendo ancora chiusa, ZERO INDICAZIONI o cartelli e l aereo che a breve partiva. Solo alle 6 sono arrivati i ragazzi che nemmeno parlavano bene inglese , c era la coda di persone che hanno avuto lo stesso problema, fanno il giro della macchina con la torcia, segnano quello che vogliono senza nemmeno farti vedere cosa effettivamente hanno scritto eventuali danni ecc e li restituisci le chiavi. Ci è andata abbastanza bene perché fortunatamente siamo riusciti a prendere il volo in tempo, ma nel caso avessimo avuto il volo alle 6 l avremmo perso!!!!! Sconsiglio assolutamente questa compagnia in quanto non ti assistono minimamente,cercano di fregarti in qualunque modo. Oltretutto sei poco assicurato!!!!! Inoltre ho letto varie persone a cui è stato addebitato costi aggiuntivi su danni non causati da loro

Rented a vehicle from here and service was fast. We took the vehicle back the next day because the gps system they supplied us was not working properly. They apologized and swapped out our car with a built in gps unit and we were on our way again in half an hour. Special thanks to Maria for taking care of us.

Problemloser Autoverleih, hatten einen recht neuen Fiat Panda Hybrid mit 39.000 km auf dem Tacho. Beim CheckIn hat irgendwas mit der Datenübernahme nicht geklappt, alle meine Daten waren falsch erfasst, war aber schnell zu ändern. Leider wird hier versucht viele Zusätze zu verkaufen, alles kostet extra. Rückgabe war auch problemlos, aber etwas intransparent. Wir haben keinen Beleg für die Abnahme bekommen und erst nach einigen Stunden erst eine Rückgabemail. Die Dame an der Abgabe sprach such kein Englisch.

Al momento del ritiro, senza dirci nulla, ci è stata consegnata una macchina diversa da quella per la quale avevamo pagato, ma altrettanto funzionale. Per curiosità, il giorno prima della riconsegna, siamo venuti qui su Google per leggere le recensioni e ci siamo scoraggiati moltissimo. Per fortuna, però, non abbiamo avuto alcun tipo di problema: check-out molto rapido, e lintera caparra (600 euro) ci è stata restituita immediatamente! Achtung unseriös und betrügerisch! Gebucht wurde (leider) über Check24 mit diversen Extras, vor Ort wusste man nichts von den bereits bezahlten Zusätzen. Der Fall wurde reklamiert, seit 8 Wochen gibt es keine Rückmeldung. Zusätzlich wurde nach 4 Wochen erneut ein Betrag von meiner Karte abgebucht, ohne Leistung versteht sich! Niemals wieder! Und die Standardantwort vom Inhaber könnt ihr euch sparen, warum soll ich euch eine Buchungsnummer bekanntgeben, wenn doch keine Antwort zurückkommt?

Wir hatten für unseren Urlaub am Faro Airport/ Portugal einen teure Mittelklasse SUV (bestellt ein VW Tiguan/ T-Roc, bekommen haben wir einen Dacia) bei Guerin/ Alamo/ enterprise gebucht und haben den Mietwagen mit einer Tankfüllung von 95% übernommen, obwohl wir im Mietvertrag voll - voll gebucht hatten. Als wir zum Ende des Urlaubs bei der Abgabe des Mietwagen tanken mussten, bekommt man natürlich eine 95% Tankfüllung nicht wieder hin und wir haben voll getankt. So habe ich bei Guerin mal nachgefragt, das wir die zu viel getankten 5% Tankfüllung erstattet/ verrechnet haben wollen, die Antwort von Guerin: Laut dem beigefügten Mietvertrag wurde das Fahrzeug mit vollem Tank übergeben, so dass wir Ihren Antrag auf Rückerstattung nicht berücksichtigen können. ... da wir das Problem schon in vielen Bewertungen gelesen haben, ist es einen weitere Art die Kunden zu betrügen, da es auch keinen ausgedruckten Mietvertrag mehr gibt! Bitte bei der Mietwagenübernahme, alle gebuchten Punkte/ Auto genau überprüfen und den gebuchten Mietwagenvertrag selbst ausgedruckt mitbringen und Abweichungen sofort unterschreiben lassen! Schon zum 2. Mal einen Mietwagen bei Guerin gemietet und beide Male sowohl mit den Autos, als auch mit dem Service sehr zufrieden. Das 1. Mal war es ein Toyota Corolla combi Hybrid, das 2. Mal ein Hyundai Kauai. Null Probleme beim Check in und auch beim Check out. Der Service hat sich seit dem Letzten Mal sogar verbessert, indem Sie für die Fahrzeug Abholung Automaten eingeführt haben. Ich hatte keine Schäden am Fahrzeug verursacht.

Ich habe über Opodo einen Renault Clio oder ähnliches gebucht. Am Ende war es ein VW T-Cross mit weniger als 10.000 km Laufleistung. Die vorhandenen Beschädigungen konnte man im digitalen Übernahmeformular mit Fotos dokumentieren. Die Mitarbeiterin war sehr freundlich und beantwortete die gestellten Fragen. Ich habe das Fahrzeug gestern außerhalb der Öffnungszeiten abgegeben und den Schlüssel im vorgesehenen Kasten abgelegt - die Kaution kam heute schon zurück. Ich kann nur Gutes über das Leihgeschäft berichten. Gebucht habe ich offenbar bei Alamo, lief aber alles über den Guerin-Schalter.

Das Auto zu mieten war top ohne Probleme das Personal könnte ein wenig netter sein aber die Auto sind sehr sauber und konzroller sind absolut sympathisch und profissional.

I was worried after reading some reviews about being charged hundreds of £ for small scratches especially we got the car in a late evening so we couldnt check the car conditions properly in the dark. Although we didnt have any accident but it plays in my mind, what if they charged us for a tiny scratch weve missed when collecting? Thankfully the return process was very smooth and easy, we didnt get any suprise bills apart from toll charge service which we agreed. Overall a good experience with Guerin.

Vorsicht Betrüger am Werk! Wir haben über check 24, bei Auto Europe, die mit Guerin zusammenarbeiten, im Juni 2023 ein Auto mit Vollkaskoversicherung und unbegrenzten Kilometern gemietet und bezahlt. Das Geld haben wir an Check 24 überwiesen. Sämtliche Risiken waren somit abgedeckt. Als wir am Flughafen in Faro bei Guerin das Auto abholen wollten, wollte man uns das Auto nicht aushändigen. Angeblich hätten sie kein Geld erhalten. Wir haben Ihnen unseren Zahlbeleg gezeigt und sie meinten, bei Ihnen sei kein Geld angekommen, wir müssten den vereinbarten Betrag nun bei Ihnen bezahlen und würden dann das Geld von Check 24 zurückerhalten, das würde immer so laufen. Da wir unbedingt ein Auto benötigten, mussten wir den Betrag dort noch einmal per Kreditkarte zahlen. Man fragte uns, ob wir zusätzliche Leistungen wünschen würden, wir verneinten mit der Begründung, dass wir mit unserem Vertrag bereits alle Risiken abgedeckt hätten. Dies haben wir immer wieder betont. Der Vermieter fragte nach unseren Daten, die er in ein Tablett eingab, deren Eingaben wir uns immer zeigen ließen. Am Ende erschien eine Unterschriftenseite, die komplett leer war. Dummerweise haben wir die Unterschrift geleistet. Unterschrift und eingegebene Daten, waren jedoch zu keiner Zeit auf einer Seite zu sehen. Dies ist uns zu dem Zeitpunkt gar nicht merkwüdig erschienen, da wir uns ja jede Seite mit unseren Daten zeigen ließen. Nach einer Quittung gefragt, sagte man uns, die würden wir nach Rückgabe des Autos erhalten. Wir wähnten uns in Sicherheit, da die Bezahlung ja per Kreditkarte erfolgte. Da es schon spät war und wir endlich ins Hotel wollten, haben wir erst am nächsten Tag bei check 24 angerufen um die Angelegenheit zu klären. Dort sagte man uns, wir hätten bei Guerin nicht zahlen sollen. Check 24 stieg in die Prüfung ein. Das Ergebnis war, dass wir angeblich einen Zusatzvertrag mit Guerin geschlossen hätten(diesen haben wir nie gesehen). Das war für uns völlig unlogisch und sinnlos, da wir bereits alle Risiken über Check 24 ausgeschlossen hatten. Eine Ausfertigung erhielten wir per Mail und waren erstaunt. Guerin hatte auf dem Tablet ohne unser Wissen einen Zusatzvertrag aufgesetzt, den man uns nicht gezeigt hatte und die Unterschrift, die wir geleistet haben darunter gesetzt. Wir haben von Check 24 unser Geld zurückverlangt, da sie lt. Aussage von Guerin das Geld nicht erhalten haben. Check 24 teilte uns mit, dass sie das Geld an Auto Europe gezahlt und diese Firma das Geld dann an Guerin überwiesen habe. Einen angeforderten Beweis, dass unser Geld weitergeleitet wurde, blieb man uns schuldig. Das ist für uns z.Zt. auch unerheblich. Das Wesentliche ist, dass man uns einen unnötigen Zusatzvertrag untergejubelt hat. Check 24 , wie sie sagten kulanterweise 100,00 Euro (die Hälfte des Mietpreises) an uns erstattet. Wir werden trotzdem eine Strafanzeige gegen zunächst einmal Guerin wegen Betrugs anstreben. Dieser Firma ist absolut nicht zu trauen!!!! Also Finger weg von der Firma. Schade dass Check 24 bei der Zusammenarbeit mit der Firma wohl nicht so genau geprüft hat, mit wem sie eigentlich zusammenarbeiten. Für den Ruf von check 24 ist das nicht gerade rühmlich. Booked with this company through a travel agency. Went smoothly from start to finish. Went almost completely digital using tablets. The car was good. I had no idea I was being dropped off, a feeling that often comes with renting cars. Thats a nice feeling. Solid 4 stars.

Suspicious. They rent cars that are prone to theft. Avoid if they give you a Fiat Panda, or get theft insurance. It is really suspicious that my rent car had the key lock broken on the day that I had to return the car, so you dont have time to make a police report. It also happened to other 3 customers I spoke to on the same day, all Pandas. They charge you in total 400 for the repair, admin fees, etc. Likely the repairman is happy. You can make your own conclusion thou, but I would be wary to rent from the again.

Après avoir donné 5 étoiles en avis car tout était bien, ils ont facturé un dommage au rétroviseur alors que nous avons toutes les photos prouvant le contraire...après 3 relances par mail, toujours pas de nouvelles de leur part !! (véhicule loué à laéroport de Faro). Très déçu au final.

Inchecken ging heel fijn, we waren laat en het proces verliep vlot. Auto was fantastisch, we hadden de volkswagen taigo. Niks op aan te merken, zeer comfortabel. Inleveren van de auto verliep ook weer zeer vlot, en netjes. Prima service, en zeer professioneel.

Was a bit concerned about the one star reviews also this being the first time renting a car. Rented a car for two days through a third party company. There was a bit of a queue when checking in but thats understandable due to maintaining covid restrictions in this country. Check up was easy done at a display panel and there were staff helping with that. Never felt pushed on getting services we didnt need like extra insurance. Had all my documentation required with me like it was stated in the insurance voucher including a credit card. Got the check-in done in 15 minutes and got the key to the car. I had 300 held for insurance excess and 50 for petrol and fees. Another employee came to the car and inspected it with us, some small issues on the car that were already knowed byt them and were stated on the car inspection already. Got all the information we needed and we were on our way in 10 minutes. Upon returning we were advised by text which was the closest petrol station and we filled up there, it is like 500m away. We parked at the return area and were greeted by an employee that checked the car and miles and gave us a leaflet for termination of the rental. I was returned the 300 on my credit card for the insurance excess right away and the 50 for petrol a few days later. I was very happy with the service and the price I paid for the car that was great, in great driving shape and had everything we needed for our holiday.

A fuir !!! Nous avons réservé pour une voiture a 8h30 du matin le 17 avril avec siege auto du coup avec notre bébé de 15 mois. Nous avons eu la confirmation avec bsp auto donc que la réservation était valide et bien confirmée! En arrivant la bas, l agence Guerin n a rien voulu savoir et n a meme pas bouger le petit doigt pour nous aider ou trouver une solution. Juste il avait rien a notre nom! Nous avons demandé de faire une nouvelle réservation avec une autre voiture, il ne pouvait pas non plus! Je déconseille cet agence qui nous a planté et laisser dans une galere pas possible avec nos bagages et notre bébé! De plus, il etait 3/4 personnes ce jour là et il n y avait meme pas de monde donc il avait largement le temps de nous aider Ils ont juste opter pour la facilité donc de ne rien faire! Sur internet, ils proposent des locations moins cher mais l accueil client est catastrophique. Merci a l agence Hertz qui est a côté.

Ich reihe mich ein in die Zahllosen Beschwerden der unmenschlichen abzocke. Ich rate schwer davon ab bei diesem Unternehmen ein Auto zu leihen. Auch werde ich allen Bekannten, Freunden und Familie von euerem unangemessenen Verhalten erzählen. Keiner wird je mehr ein Auto von euch leihen. Faro und Umgebung soll wissen was ihr für ein Unternehmen seit. So wie man in den Wald ruft kommt es meistens auch zurück. Wir haben im Endeffekt nach langem kämpfen eine Rechnungen Zahlen müssen die nicht rechtens ist. Mir geht es hier nicht um das Geld, ich zahle Aufrichtig einen Schaden sollte er von mir verursacht sein, mir geht es um das RECHT und dieses wurde hier deutlich und ABSICHTLICH gebrochen. Ihr solltet euch schämen. Ihr fragt euch warum diese Welt immer mehr den Bach runter geht.??? Ihr seit ein Teil davon. Menschen verlieren ihren glauben an die Menschheit wenn sie solche Dinge erleben.

Im a but surprised by some of the 1 star reviews. I often rent cars around the world and I would highly recommend Guerin in Faro. Car ( Toyota Yaris) had 20.000km which I guess is okay and the car drove very well and was extremely clean. Check-in was quick and efficient, and the return even quicker ! Employees were friendly and professional.

Todo sábado vou pegar um carro nesta empresa no aeroporto, neste último sábado dia 28/05 não gostei do modelo e pedi para a atendente me trocar de carro, a mesma me disse que não teria carro para trocar, após 5 minutos, mais dois amigos de trabalho que faz o mesmo processo de toda semana, também não queria o mesmo carro, logo os homens disseram que não iria levar aquele modelo, logo apareceu carros para a troca! Qual o critério desta empresa? É mesmo ridículo, chulo, vergonha mentir para um cliente que paga o vamos valor que qualquer cliente! Me respeita Guerim aeroporto!

Efficient on collection and drop off and no hard sell for extra insurance. Little bits of damage on collection but no issues, I photograph the car myself anyway. Make sure you dont go in to the wrong car park on return linke I did.

Returned from 8 days car hire with sand in the car. Man said he was going to charge 25 Euros for extra cleaning - this car hire company do not want you to visit the beach so I highly recommend you dont book with Guerin if you are a family who want to enjoy the beaches! Guerin - too lazy to vacuum up some sand and know they can charge as most people will be staying in hotels and not have access to a vacuum cleaner. Sand.

Des fraudeurs !! Nous avons eu une amende pour stationnement de 10 euros nous avons voulu la régler a Guérin ils ont refuse disant que cétait impossible nous nous sommes renseigne a laéroport et pour régler il fallait un compte au Portugal nous avons laisse tomber et il y a quelques jours Guérin nous a prélevé 30 euros car ils avaient garde notre numéro de carte !!! Jappelle sa de la fraude !! A fuir !!!

Nous venons de vivre la même mauvaise expérience que vous autres qui avez laissé un avis négatif Leurs mode opératoire.. à la remise du véhicule il minimise tout impact sur la voiture ( vous qui avez pris une assurance « Basic » franchise de 930 pour ne pas faire des journées de location trop onéreuse, finalement la location va coûter très chère car au moment de rendre le véhicule il marque tout problème visuel et vous demande le justificatif qui prouve que l impact était bien présent au début de la location. Sauf que rien ne nous a été remis et ils nous font signer un document électronique qui valide la location . ( sans pour autant avoir mis ce qui a été constaté. Je vous recommande à tous les futurs loueurs de bien contrôler le véhicule et prendre des photos avec en présence de la personne sur le plan du véhicule marqué les impacts ou autres et le faire signé . Des Voleurs ! Ça ira au tribunal pour ma part .

Nous navons pas eu à nous plaindre du véhicule mis à disposition, neuf et surclassé. Par contre ne comptez pas sur cette entreprise pour être serein, nous étions passés par un comparateur en ligne avec des conditions de franchise et dassurance spécifiques... ils vous font signer leurs papiers, afin de bien les décharger si pépin le jour de la remise des clés. I have just picked up the car. In the last ten years have never been in a rental car which doesnt have built in navigation. Its a new Toyota chr. They disable navigation and then charge you extra for giving you a GPS device. I have never used a GPS device in ten years. The car Bluetooth also doesnt show the phone map. At the counter the rude manager says where does the contract say that the car will have built in navigation. Too flabbergasted to say anything. Highly avoidable company.

Why we paying for something already been there?! We picked up our rental in Portimão and it was already damaged on the right front wheel. The employee who gave us the car told us to don t worry and took pictures of the damage and said it s gonna be uploaded. So if we drop off the car at faro airport (as planned) they ll know and don t charge us for the old damage. And now you can imagine what happened and who paid for some useless promise, because there was no picture uploaded or notes taken. Definitely there s no trust in Guerin. They just wanna trick your money for anything. Stay away from Guerin. You going to find a better car rental.

Bei uns alles voll in Ordnung! Obwohl wir im Getümmel unseren Wagen noch upgraden mussten, weil das Gepäck in den geplanten City SUV nicht passte und daher die Schadensaufnahme für das Upgrade Auto im Stress verbaselt hatten: keinerlei Beanstandungen bei den doch zahlreichen kleinen Lackmängeln bei Rückgabe. Ich hatte ja quasi nichts schriftlich.. bei der Rückgabe aber überhaupt keine Probleme. Insgesamt sehr schneller und netter Service. Wir hatten den Wagen innerhalb von wenigen Minuten zurück gegeben. Das Auto selber top gepflegt und zuverlässig. Auch das Upgrade auf einen Kombi unkompliziert und schnell.

A uma amiga foi-lhe atribuído por 5 dias, um veículo de substituição, pela respetiva seguradora. Foi levantá-lo à Guerin - aeroporto de Faro. Aquando da devolução dessa viatura, a Guérin invocou a existência de um dano na parte inferior da mesma - ou seja, um risco subtil na pintura, à altura das duas jantes (estes sim, danos assinalados aquando da receção, 5 dias antes). Foi cobrado o valor do dano, a que não deu causa e cuja responsabilidade refutou de imediato. Sou testemunha de tudo. Jamais alugarei viatura na Guérin, em Portugal.

The company was good, as the pick up and drop off was sub 10 minutes (each way). The car we got was not so good, as it was small, beepy, but it did the job. To be fair to them we did buy the cheaper option. One bonus, the gas was dead cheap!! Half a tank was 29 !!!

Kann mich nicht beschweren. Es hat alles funktioniert. Hatten ein Fiat 500 mit vielen Dellen und Kratzer bekommen. Hatte dabei Bedenken. Es wurde protokolliert auf Portugiesisch. Bei der Abgabe habe ich nochmals darauf hingewiesen dass das bereits so war und es wurde akzeptiert. Kaution bereits nach wenigen Stunden zurück. Auto war Technisch in gutem Zustand. Auto Annahme und Abgabe hat in englischer Sprache gut funktioniert und würde verstanden. Personal war ganz freundlich. Hatte ab 6 Uhr morgens schon geöffnet. Am Parkplatz Flughafen Faro war es sehr leicht zu finden. P4 und nach Guerin Schild ausschauen. Hatte über Enterprise gemietet. Mietwagenpreise natürlich wie gerade üblich ein Wucher.

La pire expérience de location... Je pensais pouvoir faire confiance suite aux commentaires mais faites attention !! Lagence nous a débité 300 de caution que nous devions récupérer au check mais nous navons jamais revu cet argent. Après notre retour de vacances, jai attendu quelques jours comprenant quun virement peu prendre du temps. Après une semaine, jai commencé à envoyer des mails pour réclamer cette somme. Tous les mails restent sans réponse. Jai récemment appelé lagence, on ma raccroché au nez avant de me rediriger et ne jamais répondre à ma demande. Lagence nous a également débité 46 pour avoir mis plus dessence que nécessaire dans le véhicule.... Est-ce réellement possible ? Le personnel est très peu serviable, pas à lécoute... Je regrette davoir fait confiance. Je ne sais pas si vous savez voir ce msg mais suite à votre demande, mon numéro de contrat RA 4311486 SVY

Auto war ok, aber die Politik für Schadensfaelle ist lächerlich. Wir mussten trotz Versicherung 300 Euro extra für einen Kratzer in der Stoßstange zahlen plus extra kosten für Säuberung. Angesichts der Tatsache, dass in der Algarve überall Schotterstraßen mit entsprechender Staubentwicklung sind, absolut kundenunfreundlich. Nicht die Versicherung aufschwaetzenlassen! Die bringt absolut gar nichts, außer nochmehr Geld in die Kassen des Car rentals. Nächstes Mal wieder avis. Die sind fairer. Update:thanks for your response. My rental contract was 4327551

The car that we were given was good and the process of picking up was very easy. The woman who gave us the keys told us that we could return the car by 16:00h with no extra charge. However, on the day of its return, we dropped off at 15:00h and for our surprise, we were charged with one full extra day, because apparently we were supposed to return it at 13:00h. I would recommend everyone not to believe what the workers say in this company, therefore I wouldn t recommend this company at all.

If you want good customer service and easy transparent payment methods, go somewhere else.

Muss ehrlich gestehen, bin mehr als zufrieden. Mietwagen in Lissabon Flughafen geholt und in Faro zurück gebracht. Man musste zwar Schäden selbst dokumentieren beim abholen, dafür war die Rückgabe super easy. 5 Minuten das Auto angeguckt und fertig.

Après avoir loué une voiture cette été et avoir prit une assurance arrive à l agence nous avons dû payé de sommes en plus pour l assurance au départ on devais payé 500 et quelques puis nous avons payé 900 au total. Et la surprise je viens de constater un prélèvement de 33,65 de leurs part sans aucun motif. Je dois appeler la banque pour pouvoir les bloque car je ne sais pas s ils ne me prélèveront pas à nouveau.

Ich kann diese Autovermietung in Faro nur empfehlen. Es hat alles geklappt, das einzig Negative für mich war, dass bei der Abholung des Autos, mir die Mitarbeiterin etwas genervt rüber kam. Alles andere hat schnell geklappt, das Auto stand bereit und wir konnten nach Eingabe unserer Daten los. Ich würde jedem vorschlagen vorher und nachher Bilder zu machen, so ist man auf der sicheren Seite falls doch Mal eine Beschädigung nicht eingetragen wurde. (Was bei uns nicht vorgekommen ist). Die Abgabe ging auch recht schnell, klar dass man Mal 10 Minuten warten muss wenn jeder den gleichen Flug hat ;) der Mitarbeiter hat sich nochmal das Auto angeschaut alle Daten aufgenommen und auch das ging schnell. Keine zusätzlichen Kosten.

Booked online as it was so cheap, Car collection was so quick as the car was readily kept as per booking timing, got fairly new excellent car, enjoyed the Algarve for 5 days and dropped off the car at Airport that was so quick, Deposit returned on the next day. BIG SCAMERS! AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL Cost! I read before the comments and I thought this cant happen to me so I took the chance. I rented a Toyota Aygo for 4 days, no insurance (I had one from my credit card provider) and I took the car at 20:00, so during night time. I couldnt inspect the car properly due to lack of daylight. I asked the lady who handed over if it is OK to inspect it next day during daytime and send her pictures if I spot extra scratches (like I did in the past for other rentals) , but she refused saying :what you see now is what you get. When I returned the car they spotted a tiny dent on the back door, no scratches whatsoever. This dent could be seen only from a certain angle. I asked them to take again a picture, with their camera, from the same angle the first picture was taken when I took the car but they definitely refused. There was no way I could of spotted the dent during late pick up - you could barely see it in the daylight and only from a certain angle. I even went to the airport police and their first reaction was Oh, Guerin, not again. I asked them to file a plaint but they refused also saying I should make a note to the rental company. How? Since they refused any kind of observations on the exit paper and any kind of dialog! They are hunting for people who do not take full insurance! IF YOU WANT A QUIET HOLIDAY - - - STAY AWAY FROM GUERIN!!!!

Politique commerciale scandaleuse. Ils nous ont prélevé 300 euros pour des soi disant dégâts (1 griffe dans le pare choc et 1 dans la jante). Le véhicule nous a été délivré dans un garage sombre à Lisbonne le 25 décembre . Impossible de détecter ce genre de dégâts, que nous naurions jamais signalé tant ils sont mineurs. La reprise sest faite à faro, dans un parking en plein air. Nous sommes certains que nous navons pas commis ces dégâts. Malgré des discussions à faro et une dépose de plainte par mail, rien ny fait. Ces gens sont vraiment scandaleusement malhonnêtes. A fuir. Nous aurions dû lire les nombreuses remarques négatives avant.

I would never recommend this company. I rented a car from them for a week, without any incidents or scratches happened. But I was told after a couple of days that damages detected , and they charged me 380 euros!! They took all the deposits (300 euros) and kept asking me to pay the remaining cost. No any evidence even I asked for many times. I feel desperate and don t know how to argue with them. These people are liars!!

Ich wandte mich durch Adac an diese Firma, um während einer Woche, die ich im Dezember in der Algarve Urlaub machte, ein Auto zu mieten. Von der Abholung des Fahrzeugs bis zur Rückgabe lief alles so, wie ich es vorhergesagt hatte. Ich erhielt ein Auto mit wenigen Klms, etwa 7500, sehr sauber, bis heute das sauberste Fahrzeug, das ich von einer Autovermietung erhalten habe. Der Mitarbeiter Bruno Farula war sowohl bei der Entgegennahme als auch bei der Übergabe des Fahrzeugs von einem unausweichlichen Freundlichkeit! Aus der Erfahrung, die ich gelebt habe, empfehle ich diese Firma. Super Service!

Wir hatten am Flughafen Faro ein Auto gemietet. Alles hat problemlos geklappt, kein Versuch Zusatzversicherung aufzuzwingen. Ich wurde in perfektem Englisch auf die Bedingungen hingewiesen und dann ging es schon zur Übergabe des Autos. Der Mitarbeiter hat alle vorhandenen Kratzer und Dellen in meiner Anwesenheit fotografiert ich habe das gleiche getan. Bei der Rückgabe hat es etwa 10 Minuten gedauert bis das Fahrzeug geprüft war, keine Diskussionen über angebliche zusätzliche Schäden. Alles war perfekt und die Mitarbeiter freundlich. Ich komme beim nächsten Mal wieder dorthin.

Warning - if you book on Enterprise website in advance only book for the car itself. I paid extra for Super CDW and toll tag and they do not offer zero excess insurance and I had to pay again for the toll tag. Customer service from the team were friendly and they were available for pre inspection and return with no issues at all. 300 EUR deposit for car and 50 EUR deposit for tag on check in. Check in process is long as you must input all your information on a touch screen. The car was modern and supplied with full tank of petrol. Overall I would use Guerin again but it is important to note they are only a franchise of Enterprise, Alamo and National.
