I had an amazing experience with Nice Rent! I booked a car for my parents while they were visiting me in the Algarve, and the process couldn t have been smoother. The car was delivered directly to the airport, and the staff was already waiting at the exit upon their arrival, making pickup effortless. The team was incredibly friendly and even provided some water for the journey. Since we planned to travel to Spain, we appreciated the option to add extra insurance at a very reasonable price for peace of mind. Highly recommend!

Geweldige service binnen paar minuten auto geboekt keurig op de afgesproken tijd bij ons appartement gebracht en na 5 dagen keurig op tijd opgehaald voor een zeer scherpe prijs. Auto was keurig schoon en ondanks mijn leeftijd 72 jaar zonder problemen gehuurd Bij vrijwel alle verhuur bedrijven geven ze leeftijden aan van 24 tot 65 of 69 jaar. Wij hebben alle bekenden die regelmatig in Portugal komen het adres van Nicerent doorgegeven en gaan zelf bij de volgende vakantie weer bij Nicerent huren

Je confirme tous les avis précédents, nous avons loué début octobre pour un séjour de 10 jours, peut être un peu plus cher que les offres alléchantes sur internet mais après plusieurs expériences chaotiques (notamment au Portugal) au moins pas de surprises du genre assurance complémentaire obligatoire (malgré le paiement par carte Gold), tout est limpide efficace sympathique...bravo !

Excellent rental car experience. Was met at arrivals by a friendly and warm lady and the car was ready for us to drive off in no time. We enjoyed driving the T-roc cabriolet with the top down Drop off was super easy as well and we were good to go with no fuss. Highly recommend!

Great rental experience with this company! Always prompt responses to all our questions via email and Whatsapp, and pick up was right on time. Drop off had a bit of a snag as it was 6:30 AM, but we were able to leave the car and it was picked up promptly so we didnt miss our train. 5 stars!! Skvelá po i ov a áut, boli sme nadmieru spokojní (mo nos po i a auto aj na menej ako 3 dni). Dali sme si plné poistenie 8 /de a nemuseli sme sa stara o prípadné krabance na aute/po kodenie (flat tires neboli zahrnuté). Pri prebratí nám bolo v etko vysvetlené a nepotrebovali sme kreditnú kartu. Odovzdanie prebehlo rýchlo (5 min) a bez problémov. Komunikácia s pánom majite om rýchla. akujeme Nice rent za spríjemnenie ná ho pobytu v Algarve. Vyu ijeme Va e slu by aj pri al ej náv teve.

Nous avons effectué le contrôle du véhicule et sommes partis sans perte de temps. La voiture était en très bon état, propre et deux petites bouteilles deau nous attendaient à lintérieur car il faisait chaud. Pour la restitution à laéroport, il a suffi de stationner au dépose minute et prévenir. Quelquun est tout de suite arrivé et tout sest bien déroulé. This was the best car rental experience we had in Europe! Our family was a bit tired from our overnight flight and when we arrived at the airport, a wonderful young lady was waiting for us. She had our rental car parked at the curbside parking. She provided excellent recommendations for our journey (as well as commute times) to the areas we planed to visit. We quickly signed the forms that we completed online for the reservation, checked the car and we were off for our drive to Lagos. The car provided was a wagon which was clean, quiet, fuel efficient, low mileage and reliable! We enjoyed our journey in this car! The most impressive part of this rental was the customer service! We asked if we could return the car at the Faro train station (for our journey to Lisbon by train). Nice Rent response: No problem! We initially thought we were on the 12:00 train, but realized the time conversion was incorrect (we were on the 17:00 train). This was realized the day before our rental return and departure. We contacted Nice Rent and let them know our error. Even though this was our error with the time conversion, they still accommodated us the next day and met us at the train station at 16:30. It was so nice to have someone with a wonderful and caring attitude help us along! It s the people who make companies great! 5 solid stars for Nice Rent! Thank you!

Najlep ia po i ov a aut. Milý a ochotný personál nám v etko vysvetlil. Dokonca nám poskytli bezplatný upgrade auta. Auto bolo v perfektnom stave. Na konci sme nemuseli odovzda auto na letisko, ale sta ilo v ich depe odkia nás zadarmo odviezli na letisko a bez starosti. Nepýtali fyzicky ani zálohu, len vraveli kolko by sme platili keby sa stala nejaká nehoda. Ur ite odporú am ;)

Nous avons pris l assurance optionnelle On nous attendait dans le hall de l aéroport,. Finalisation du contrat papier et paiement par CB de ce qui a été prévu par contrat et remise des clés le tout en 15 min sans problème, La personne est très sympathique, altruiste, et de très bon conseils pour la prise en main de la voiture .Véhicule Clio de 47000 kms très propre, bien entretenue.. .Au retour, avec le plein de carburant effectué à la station proche de l aéroport, la reprise du véhicule devant le hall de départ en 5 minutes sans souci Pas de mauvaise surprise. The best car rental experience we have ever had. Alex was already waiting for us in the arrivals hall with my name on a paper. He was very nice and helpful. The car was parked right in front of the exit. The paperwork was done quickly and we were on our way within 10 minutes of leaving the plane. The drop-off was also seamless and comfortable, right in the passenger drop-off area. If you are tired of the bored and unwilling staff of big rental companies, always look for local customer-friendly rentals with fair prices like Nice Rent Faro. The car was like new, clean, and in perfect condition. It also looked good - we got a sport packet version with nice wheels and seats (in the cheapest category). I appreciate onboard e-toll system so you can use the motorway anytime you need and the fee is charged later from your card. Well definitely use Nice Rent services anytime we come back later to visit Algarve.

I travel a lot and I have never come across better car rental than Nice Rent. Very easy to hire car online which is a massive plus. Alex was waiting on us at Faro airport and he was extremely helpful ( he gave us few recommendations and tips on travelling in Portugal ) and was super friendly! we were able to leave the car one hour early than expected drop off time which was fabulous ( the guy on the phone was very friendly and non problematic ). Overall the experience was smooth and the car looked like brand new. We had little puegot which was easy to drive and easy to park!

Rui Gomes is exceptionally helpful. He met us at Faro station, in person, when he took details of my credit card and wished us well for our trip to Tavira. We had a Fiat which was mostly good except for a tyre issue, which was my fault, see photos, and he helped us to get a replacement tyre fitted the next day, and he also offered to replace the car but it was unnecessary as the car was good. We returned it at Faro Airport after a wash to get the sticky stuff off. Nice Rent is a well run friendly place to rent your car.

Nice Rental. We rented a nine seater from 20th to 27th May 2023. Quite simply, the very best experience I have had with renting cars - by far. I have rented many cars over the years and nothing came close. No, I am not connected with the company and am not even from the same country. Why I had such a good experience: 1. Unlike many companies, they reply to my emails. 2. I got the car I ordered, not some alternative I did not want. 3. This is a big plus: no shuttling a mile from the airport followed by a long line (queue) and endless paperwork. Rui and his wife (apologies, I did not get your name) met us at arrivals. The nine seater was literally outside the terminal. Signed one form, paid by credit card on a portable machine, and, eh, that was it. 4. On return, I simply left the car at drop off, again literally just outside the terminal, and handed the key back to another member of staff who met us at the car. 5. Staff were 10/10 in every way. There were even six bottles of water in the car when we picked it up. The only negative, and this has nothing to do with Nice Rental, is that I know I will never experience this again unless I go to Portugal. The next time I rent, I know from experience I will have lots of things to complain about and will always remember being in rental heaven once. Thank you, Nice Rental, for a 100% customer satisfaction service.

Excellent experience! We booked car via web page, Alex waited for us in the arrival hall at Faro airport and did all the documents within 10 minutes. He added extra insurance for going outside of Portugal, because we planned to visit Spain and Gibraltar. We had full cover insurance, so no deposit was blocked on the credit car. We had Fiat Panda Sport, car was as new, clean, had Apple Car Play and did its job well. Car had highway toll unit, so there was no problem with traveling on highways, toll was charged after our return within month or two. When returning the car, the process was even easier, Alex arrived at the airport and picked up the car just outside the departure hall. Really reliable service for fair price! Definitely will use them again when comming back to Algarve! 10 of 10 stars!

Nous avons loué une voiture du 23 mai au 4 juin 2023. Nous avons été bien accueillis à laéroport. La prise possession de la voiture est très rapide. Nous avons été surclassé avec une SEAT Ibiza, voiture neuve avec 4000 Km au compteur. Le système de navigation est vraiment superbe. La voiture est très propre. Aucune surprise en ce qui concerne le prix de la location, il correspond au devis. La remise de lavoiture au retour à laéroport est aussi très simple. Nous recommandons Nice Rent, agence locale, pour la location de la voiture.

Rui, the owner, was friendly, attentive, and prompt. The car was in good condition, cleaned, and operated well. Pick up and drop off were easy and fast. I highly recommend!

June 2023. Having used various car hire companies at Faro airport over the last 20 + years we only discovered Nice Rent this year. I have never left any review before but the experience deserves one. Rui and his team provided an excellent service and a lovely car at good value. We were taking friends to Portugal for their first visit so I added the full excess cover for the first time ever to have carefree driving. We were met in the airport reception with a name board and a friendly smile. Taken just outside the terminal to the nearest carpark where the car was waiting. I had already logged all my passport and driving licence details for the booking on their website so only had to pay. The whole operation from the meet and greet to driving away took less than 15 minutes. You simply have to ring their office 20 minutes before getting back to the airport and they meet you in the departure drop off zone. With a petrol station at the airport the full tank to full tank fuel policy works well. We will now be using Nice Rent for all future visits to Faro. Thank you to Rui and his team.

Our flight was delayed 2 hours, we got in late but a lovely women named Ines, I believe the owners daughter, was there to greet us with a smile. After paperwork she walked out to the car which was literally just steps outside the door! A Navi unit was included in a near new Suzuki, she even input our Hotel address for us! Drop off was at the bus station in Faro, a quick friendly exchange and that was it. So easy and convenient, the best car rental experience! Really nice people, highly recommend them!

Der Name ist Programm! Die Entscheidung mit Nice-Rent den Mietwagen für unseren einwöchigen Algarve-Urlaub zu buchen war goldrichtig und ein wirklich nices Erlebnis. Da ich anfänglich über die Website nicht genau erfahren konnte, was ein Mietwagen im gebuchten Zeitraum kosten wird, stellte ich eine Anfrage per E-Mail, die innerhalb eines Tages mit einer genauen Preisangabe beantwortet wurde. Daraufhin nahm ich die Reservierung/Buchung über die Website vor, füllte alle notwendigen Angaben aus und bekam unmittelbar darauf Antwort und Bestätigung. Am Flughafen in Faro angekommen, wartete der sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter mit einem Namensschild auf uns und führte uns wenige Schritte zum Mietwagen. Wir haben ein super Upgrade erhalten und durften die Algarve mit einem FIAT 500 Convertible erkunden. Die Bezahlung (von 250 EUR für 7 Tage zu unserer Saisonzeit) mit Kreditkarte erfolgte direkt am Flughafen mittels mobilen Terminal und hat den Vorteil, dass man am Ankunftstag nicht noch erst in ein Büro muss, sondern direkt vom Flughafen in den Urlaub starten kann. Vorausgesetzt man hat zuvor alle persönlichen Angaben online abgegeben. Der Wagen war sehr neu und absolut gepflegt. Der Service-Mitarbeiter hat sogar das Bordsystem vorab auf unsere Sprache (Deutsch) eingestellt. Danke dafür! Vollgetankt bekamen wir den Wagen und haben ihn vollgetankt am Abreisetag einfach an der gleichen Stelle auf dem P2 des Flughafen wieder abgestellt bzw. dem Mitarbeiter übergeben. Alles wirklich ALLES lief ganz ausgezeichnet, einfach und sorgenfrei. Genau so, wie man sich das für den Urlaub wünscht. NICERENT ist daher absolut zu empfehlen. Wir würden ds nächste mal wieder dort ein Auto buchen.

Excellent en tout point Accueil à laéroport parfait et remise de la voiture rapide, et retour de la voiture aussi rapide. Aucun souci avec la voiture une Clio, nous sommes très satisfaits de cette agence. Nous lavons restituée nickel. Donc mise à part les frais dautoroute nous espérons ne pas être prélevés abusivement comme le font de façon coutumière les autres agences. Je vous conseille fortement cette agence :)

Wish all rental car companies could all be like this. Alex met us at the airport, loaded our luggage and showed us around the vehicle. No high pressure sales or last minute insurance pushes just lovely first name basis customer service. Hope they can somehow expand and keep their pain free rental ethos intact!

Ich bin mehr als zufrieden! Alles war hier aus Deutschland sehr unkompliziert. Ich habe eine Übergabe am Flughafen gebucht und war erstaunt, als auf einmal ein Mitarbeiter mit meinem Namen in der Hand am Ausgang des Flughafens stand. Nach 10 min hatte ich mein Auto und es konnte losgehen. Auch habe ich eine frühe Rückgabe am Flughafen gebucht. Ich konnte das Auto problemlos auf einem Parkplatz abstellen. Ich machte mir etwas Gedanken, wie es denn mit der Maut laufen würde. Aber auch das war gar kein Problem. Ein installierter Transponder zeichnete alles auf und mir wurden ein paar Wochen später, die Gebühren von etwa 10 abgezogen. Besser geht es nicht.

Best car rental experience ever! I got exactly what I booked online. No lines (queues), hard up-selling, and crazy paperwork. Pick-up and drop-off was super easy. Staff was very friendly. Car was very clean and came with a couple of bottled waters. Something to note, the car only had USB-C ports so make sure to bring a converter and/or the right cord if youre used to USB ones.

Best car hire experience of my life! Genuinely these guys were amazing. We were met at Faro airport by one of the Nice rent family , walked out the airport to our car (a new Skoda Scala) - and within about 10 minutes we re on our way. No queuing, upsell of optional extras, just really nice, simple and quick. Exactly the same on drop off - a quick WhatsApp message and they were there to meet us and hand over the car. We have often rented cars in the Algarves. Each time for several weeks. With big and with small agencies. But the experience with Nice Rent far outshines everything. The communication via email or phone works immediately and easily. We got exactly the car we booked. The car is ready upon arrival in front of the Arrival and the paperwork is done in minutes. The drop-off is directly at the Departure entrance and also took only a few minutes. Everything is as good as it can be!

Correct,vriendelijk en eerlijk. Absoluut aan te bevelen. Rui staat in de aankomsthal met je naambordje en je krijgt de auto aangeleverd in propere staat incl 2 flesjes water. Omdat de gevraagde auto niet meer beschikbaar was, kreeg ik voor dezelfde prijs een duurder model mee. Inleveren ging even vlot. 20 minuten voor aankomst bel je hem op en je geeft je auto (volgetankt) weer af voor de ingang van de luchthaven. Volgende keer Faro, zeker weer met Nice Rent!!

Highly recommended for car hire in Algarve. Decent price and excellent service. The owner, Rui, met us at the airport with the car, which was less than a year old with built-in satnav, and even loaded our cases. The paperwork was completed quickly and easily, Rui explained how the automatic motorway toll payment device worked in the car and we were good to go. No problems whatsoever in our 10 day rental. When we called to say we needed drop the car off a little earlier than planned, it was no trouble, he just told us to leave the car in the airport car park with the keys in for him to collect later. An excellent rental experience.

I strongly advise Ruis (NiceRent) bookings over any of the other big brand vendors, anyday! 5 star concierge-like service and No hidden costs!! Well aware of the various issues with the big rental franchises, I was scouring tripadvisor forums for reviews on car rental options in Faro/Algarve and came across about 40 reviews - all 5 stars - for NiceRent. So I called their number and straightaway spoke to Rui (no automated IVRs nor hold options) and within 5 minutes he had arranged a car, latest model, alongwith Sat Nav and a free booster seat! He met us at the Arrivals - no queues, no elaborate form filling, no sales pitch (pushing excess cover etc.), and sent us on our way with very useful local information and guidance. Upon return, I literally drove right to the departures gate where he was waiting for for collection with a trolley to help us unload our bags. Overall, the rental experience was The Best ever! We need more service providers like these everywhere!

The best car hire I ve ever been too. No deposits, you can pay with debit card. Free car upgrade! We paid for the cheapest one and got brand new Renault Captur! Why would you want to rent from a huge international chain when you can have a nice guy like Rui meet you off your flight, walk you to a perfectly clean and comfortable car, hand you the keys and remind you that any problems, just call or mail him? Fantastic service end-to-end.

By far best option to rent a car in Faro. Price is fair and there are no hidden costs (like the other companies do and fool the customers). Cars are good and service is great. Rui is very attentive and punctual.

javais très peur des commentaires laissés par les gens sur les arnaques a la location de voiture au Portugal en particulier, ca semble être le point critique,,,,jai donc trouvé Nice rent sur trip advisor ou il ny avait que des bons commentaires; je nai pas été déçue bien au contraire, Antonio est très arrangeant, est venu mapporter la voiture a la gare de Faro au lieu de l aéroport, voiture de modèle supérieur a celui commandé sur internet et tout cela sans aucun supplément; durant mon séjour, le montant convenu a été prélevé sur ma carte sans le moindre centime en trop; javais dis que je ne prenais aucune assurance supplémentaire ayant payé avec une carte visa première, il na absolument pas essayé de me faire payer quoi que ce soit de plus, il est si confiant quon se demande si ca ne cache rien et au final cest juste une homme gentil et honnête et ca fait plaisir! le retour de voiture sest passé de la façon la plus cool et la plus facile, merci !
