Operating in the Algarve since 1999, we founded Algarve Online where we provide tourist information and tourist services troughout the Algarve and AlgarveSEEK, a directory and news portal, as an open space to the Algarve Companies. To respond the demanding of new services we started the offer of car hire at Faro airport with great success. We have a professional multilingual staff and we manage a rent-a-car with eleven different groups with more than 300 models of vehicles to fullfil the needs of all kinds of tourists visiting Portugal and the Algarve. Reservations are available through our website. Our rental cars are delivered at Faro airport car park or to hotels, villas or resorts all over the Algarve.

Great service. There was a queue when I got there so expect a wait to pick the car up
We rented a car from Portugal Cars for our first visit to the Algarve. The email communication was fast and responsive even prior to the trip. I had booked a particular model, which turned out to be unavailable. They emailed me on the same afternoon to offer an alternative station wagon. The pickup instructions were very clear and the pickup process was efficient and business-like. We had a Fiat Tipo Stationwagon (diesel) which was new, clean and had only a small number of scratches on the outside. It was a nice car to drive. The opening hours of their airport kiosk (at the far end carpark) also suited our flights. We were the last flight of the evening into Faro and left on the first flight on a Sunday morning.
The worst experience ever. If you want to return car in the morning you have to pay extra 30euro. Its not in the terms of renting, only at booking terms somewhere. The guy sitting in the office anyway is very mean and not helpful at all. Not doing his job. Only sitting with hands in the pockets. And to answer you. Yes, we rent a car there. Doesnt have to show up with with personal name. Finally to make the whole picture clear - we received back only deposit. We supposed to receive another 40Euro, we send a claim, but until now, no one answered!
I highly recommend it, there are no problems with any additional fees that could surprise me, I received a three-month-old car in very good condition, I gave the car no problems, no one checked it, it's great

For the third time I use Portugal Cars recommended by friends and I just have to rave their excellent service and good cars delivered. And most important, unlike many others, they have a fair price policy and don't try to cheat their customers. Thank you and Keep on the Good Service!

Je prends le temps de laisser un commentaire, car quand une location se passe bien, il faut le dire! je vais à Faro 4 à 5 fois par an, et cest la première fois que je passe par Portugals car! plusieurs raisons de ma satisfaction: je les ai contacté par mail 2 fois, et jai toujours eu un retour clair et rapide. A la livraison, nous avons eu le plaisir de rencontrer une femme parlant le Français, et cest plus simple! pas dinsistance sur les assurances, options...tout est clair dès la réservation en ligne. Notre voiture réservée a eu un problème, ils nous ont fourni un véhicule supérieur, en excellent état, peu de kms. A la restitution, vous avez une personne qui nous a reçu dès 5 H du matin, ce qui rassure, car vous navez pas de mauvaise surprise quand vous rentrez...Tout sest passé vite et simplement. Merci pour votre professionnalisme, je vous recommanderais également! Nadège
Very good rental company. Almost new cars. Great service. The deposit is returned to the account after about one week. Return the car on time and say thank you nicely.
