Such a bad company, they try scam people. I call them and I asked abut all fees and car rental details and they told me to pay first far a rental car and after I gonna be able to view all contact details.

Great service, plenty of staff at collection and drop off. Car was perfect and everything was quick and easy.

First time using them. Car was a bit banged up but that doesnt matter. It worked fine. Getting the car was quite slow at the kiosk. Guy was friendly BUT there was an airport charge AND late pick up charge as our flight was delayed and we arrived around 9. That was an additional 30 euros which was 20% of the entire rental fee! Watch out

Myself and my family (2 adults and 2 teenagers) did the Flash Hakone in a GT-R and it was a great experience. The service was excellent, on arrival we asked about getting a taxi/bus back to the train station as we had a tight turn around. They said they would see what the could do. On return to the depo there as a taxi waiting for us - which was amazing as its hard even get a taxi from that location. Made the experience remarkable as we didnt need to stress about missing the train!

Best rental company I ve used in Europe. No scare mongering or hard sell on other cover whilst collecting the vehicle. Quick and painless return too. I m normally anxious about the whole experience, worrying about getting charged for the slightest damage but I was at ease from start to finish.

Komen al jaren in Portugal, Faro. Niet eerder gehuurd bij Drive4fun maar dat gaat zeker weer gebeuren. Snel geholpen bij j ophalen, vriendelijk geholpen en geen gezeur over verzekeringen. Goede uitleg over het eigen risico. Mooie auto welke overeenkomt met de boeking. Zonder gezeur weer ingeleverd.

Honest and reliable car hire at Faro airport. After returning the car, I realised I d left a bag in the car when I boarded the flight. By the time I landed Drive4fun team had left a voicemail to say they had found it. They were easy to communicate with via email/phone to organise return. Excellent customer service. Will definitely be hiring from them again.

I was a little apprehensive using a hire company I had never heard of and with the instructions just drop the car back with the keys in it in the car park as we were returning it before the office opened for an early flight. But everything was perfect and I neednt have any concern. Straightforward collecting, perfect little Panda, dropping off worked as they explained - even though the tyre pressure light came on as we drive into the airport at 6am - I was wondering OK, this is where they get me All I got was a refund, I think maybe for the toll gadget. I can recommend these guys highly and without doubt be using them again next time in Faro

I recently rented a car from Faro Airport and I have to say, I was thoroughly impressed with the level of service I received. From the moment I arrived at the airport, The process of picking up my rental car was seamless and the car itself was in good condition. not brand new, but who cares once it good condition The vehicle I rented was well-maintained, clean, and had all the necessary features that I needed for my road trip. ( just remember to return the car to P1 not P4) During my booking, I was pleasantly surprised with the quick response and the professionalism of the customer service representative. They were able to resolve my issue in no time. Overall, I would highly recommend to anyone in need of a rental car at Faro Airport. Their exceptional service and all deposit refunded on time ( even the 7.40 tol tag fee) , it is my top choice for car rentals. I would definitely use their services again in the future.

In Dec 2022 we rented a car from Drive4fun at Faro airport for over 6 weeks...the pickup/return process was pleasant... the staff were very helpful ..they did refund the transponder deposit few weeks after we returned ...honest and great customer service...

My wife rented a car from Drive 4 Fun and was told there car was brand new and immaculate. However, she quickly noticed 2 evident scratches which were later noted on the rental agreement. When she returned the vehicle, the first place the Drive 4 Fun rep looked was a small scratch on the bumper, only visible in a certain light. It was not caused by my wife. Clearly this company was aware of this scratch and I wonder how many future customers will be charged for it. We normally use Masterkings and have never experienced a problem. Needless to say, we will not use Drive 4 Fun again in the future. Beware!

Nous avons loué un fiat panda pour 10 jours en février 2023. La location était parfaite. La voiture correspondait en tout point à celle que nous avions réservée. Quasi neuve. Comme beaucoup de français notre carte bancaire était une simple carte visa DEBIT, alors attention la caution vous sera débitée (mais tout cela est parfaitement clair dans le contrat de location. Acceptation de la carte de débit sans frais supplémentaire contrairement à dautres loueurs qui refusent la carte de débit ou qui vous compte des frais en plus... Restitution de la caution environ 15 jours après la restitution du véhicule. Je recommande Drive4Fun pour la qualité de ses services et pour le prix imbattable de la location.

Rented a car for 10 days, the pick up was smooth, friendly staff, got a great car. Prices are below average for Faro even with the full insurance. Deposit was refunded within less than 2 weeks. Would rent with them again!

En ce mois d avril 2023, j ai loué un véhicule à Drive4Fun Car Rental, pour sillonner l Algarve. Tout s est particulièrement bien passé. Les prix annoncés lors de la réservation sur internet ont été strictement respectés ! Les relations humaines lors de la prise et remise du véhicule ont été bienveillantes ! Bref, une entreprise fiable.

Best car hire company I ve ever come across in Portugal or Spain. For the first time I didn t feel ripped off!

À notre arrivée, on nous casse les pieds pour cette histoire de carte de débit/crédit. Ils nacceptent les cartes de débit que si lon verse une caution de 1750 ou de 300 si on paye lassurance à 70 . Tout ça bien sûr sans nous prévenir à lavance. Comme ça sent larnaque à plein nez, on choisit la deuxième option et on se retrouve à payer 190 au lieu de 120 . Lors de la remise du véhicule, on nous fait payer le parking à 4 50 et on ne nous donne aucun document indiquant que tout est ok. On attend à ce jour la caution qui peut être rendue sous 15 jours !! Je déconseille, je ne comprends vraiment pas les avis positifs !!!

Molto soddisfatto. Macchina (Seat Arona) perfetta, pulita e con soli 35.000 km. Usata 3 giorni tra Portogallo e Spagna. Suggerisco vivamente il Telepass locale noleggiato per pochi euro e la copertura completa che ha un costo onesto, ti fa stare tranquillo e non devi bloccare la carta con importi elevati. A 5 minuti dagli altri noleggi ma molto comodo (seguire per P4). È costato decisamente meno di altri più famosi . Buon servizio di accoglienza e restituzione.

We returned the car on Saturday and we were charged 350 Euros after the assistant text the photo of the superficial scratch to the Manager who was not on site to inspect. A T cut and polish over the affected area would be all that is required for the firm to put the vehicle out on the road. Am not happy with their business practice. We cannot recommend you to use this organisation. We used 3 of their cars over the month as well!

The best car rental in Faro by far. My girlfriend and I hired for a week. Completely hassle free. Easy pick up from P4 and return to P1. Return hassle free. Professional rental company. Will 100% use again next year.

Beware - scammed out of 500. Advice to anyone renting from Drive4Fun: 1) take photos & videos of the car when you get the car AND when you return the car 2) Don t use them if you need to return the car before they open in the morning 3) Insist they return the paperwork to you when you return the car with signed acknowledgement they have checked the car and no damage during your rental. We rented a car from Drive4Fun in May 2023. Car was quite tired (lots of existing bumps & scratches) and we had a long wait (45mins) to get the key but these weren t big issues for us and we had no issues during the rental. Our problems started upon returning the car. We had paid extra for out of office hours returns as we needed to return it 30mins before the office officially opened (in reality, these office hours don t mean anything as we collected the car at 1am despite officially being closed at 8pm). Having done this with many other car rental companies, there is usually a key deposit box for returning if no members of staff are present. When we got the key, we were informed there was possibly someone going to be working at that time but if not, just leave the key in the unlocked car! Although not happy with this, we didn t have a choice as we had already paid for the rental. When we returned the car, we were relieved to find there were members of staff. One checked the car over against pre-existing damage and confirmed all ok so we headed on our way. The next day we got charged 500 and we were sent a photo of a huge dent that wasn t there when we returned it. We never thought to photograph/video the car on return (like we always do on collection) given someone had checked it over. I challenged this with Drive4Fun but they insisted we returned it like this and denied a member of staff checked it hence my advice at the start. Now we will always photograph and video the car on collection and return, whether a member of staff has checked it or not. According to Drive4Fun, they have no CCTV convenient. Given the number of positive reviews, I hope this is a 1-off e.g. member of staff lied about checking it but frustrating to lose the money. Lessons learnt!

Tienes que pagar por todo, hasta por dejar el coche aparcado en su parking. Llevad tarjeta de crédito, porque aunque os digan que vale la de débito, NO VALE. El trato del personal de Drive4Fun en el aeropuerto de Faro deja mucho que desear. No volveremos a coger un coche con ellos.

Always believe in leaving a review especially when you ve had great service. Have to say - Drive4Fun is brilliant. Great service, fast check in and very helpful staff. Initially was sceptical at first - it s not one of the bigger rental companies, but read reviews here and took a chance anyway - figured I d get external car rental insurance regardless (you can find online for like 2£ a day) in case I needed to claim down the line. When you arrive you head to P4 car park and you ll find an open hut and find your rep. I was surprised at how many companies are operating out of P4 car park, and also working off a paper system, but it was well organised and works perfectly well! A rep outside pointed me to the right desk and we were away. The agent from Drive4Fun at the desk was incredibly helpful and explained everything fully, including pick up and return. Gave me a 24 hour number to contact if there was any problems. Reminded me I just needed to return the car with the same level of petrol before you leave which is pretty standard. Helpfully there s a petrol station at the airport car park on entry, so you can fill up before you drop the car off - so you can save on any admin fees etc. The car they gave me was brilliant. It was super clean and apparently a brand new car off the factory line (it was a Peugeot with the car menu still in French!) it was absolutely perfect for what we needed and in great condition. I would just take photos of everything as you normally would do, and before you leave after picking up the car - highlight any issues / Scratches / dents etc with the company rep before you leave so they can mark it and have a record. I d also take a pic of the dashboard for fuel gauge, mileage etc. The price was fantastic for the rental period. I think including taxes and the airport fee it came to £82 for a 4 day hire. A really good price! They ll put a temporary block off 1,750 on your credit card to cover the rental period as a deposit, so make sure you have that free. They don t take Amex, but do take Mastercard. This is released relatively quickly. Mine came back within a week of returning. Just to flag, there s a 15 charge by the airport on top of your rental. Plus due to the toll system on Portugal - there s a little fob that s built in the car you pay for as a deposit per day. If you use a toll road, the fob hire and any tolls used will be billed to you. If you don t use them, you ll have the fob deposit returned to you. Very happy with Drive4Fun and will absolutely come back and use them again when I return to Faro!

Reasonable prices, transparent and fair pricing structure. Really straight-forward hiring process, including allowing us to use a debit card and pay a deposit to hire the car. Refund came through around two weeks later, not a problem, but something to be aware of if youre using this option. Had an awful experience at Goldcar, ended up losing £150. Was very nice to deal with honest, non scammers and would definitely use again and recommend. Thank you Drive4fun - we did drive for fun!

Nous avons eu une c4 aircross neuve daoût 2033. Propre mais abîmée par un client précédent ( triste). L employé avait tout signalé sur le pv de location. Mais jai quand même fait photos et films avant de démarrer (et également le jour de restitution. ) Nous avions du déposer 2250e de dépôt de garantie. Car nos cartes sont à débit et non à crédit ( par choix). Le dépôt vient de nous être remboursé avec en moins les quelques trajets autoroutes. Soit 14 jours apres notre retour . Parfait. Nous sommes rassurés(.ils nous avait dit sous 1 mois.). Employés drive4fun sympathiques. Explications claires pour la restitution du véhicule. Juste quils ne parlent pas français... pas un problème pour moi bilingue mais pour pour mes amis, cétait casse pieds. Je reprendrai drive4fun sans problème lorsque nous reviendrons en Algarve.

Location dune petite voiture pendant 5 jours. Prix intéressant, personnel très gentil. Nous avions pris lassurance et avons dû payer 300 euros de caution, comme convenu, avec notre carte de débit ainsi que la location du badge autoroute que nous navons pas utilisé. Tout nous a été restitué très rapidement à notre retour. Très bonne expérience, on recommande.

I rented a car for my holidays in Portugal two years ago. Full insurance, all went good and smoothly. Then after two years all of sudden they charge my card again, I cant recommend their service to anyone due to that. No attempt was made to contact me they just charge out of blue. This is certainly very unprofessional, I would say fraudulent behaviour and was reported to my bank

Op parking een auto van Drive4fun gehuurd voor een periode van 8 weken. Dit van huis uit al geregeld voor een nette prijs. De auto stond klaar voor ons. Prima, zo goed als nieuwe auto. Heel prettig geholpen bij zowel afhalen als inleveren van de auto. Alle lof!

Voor derde keer een auto gehuurd bij Drive4Fun op Faro Airport. Elke keer weer snel en vriendelijk geholpen. Deze keer kregen we een gratis upgrade naar een ruimere en meer luxe auto. De tarieven zijn zeer gunstig. De bereikbaarheid op de luchthaven is zeer goed. De afhandeling na inlevering van de auto is correct en snel.

Tolle Autovermietung mit sehr freundlichem Personal. Übergabe klappte auch am späten Abend ( am 11.01.2022 nach 22 Uhr) reibungslos. Wagen war top und fast neuwertig. Sehr gutes Preis- Leistungsverhältnis. Auch bei der Rückgabe keinerlei Probleme und schnelle Abwicklung. Jederzeit wieder!!! Sehr zu empfehlen. Alles Gute und bleiben Sie gesund!!!

Please stay away from this company! When returning the car they try hard to steel your deposit by making ridiculous accusations. They told me that I had to vacuum the car before return, but they never mentioned it at the start of the rent. Moreover they estimated the price for vacuuming to be 50 Euros! When I have asked to speak to the manager the guys simply declined. He was extremely rude and unprofessional!

I ve been dealing with Drive4fun for 6 years, using them more than 3 times a year. I ve already used them twice this year. I have never had a problem in all that time, honestly. Booking is easy, picking up from P1 at the Airport is just a short walk. The representatives are courteous and pleasant. During my last hire (from 3 to 12 May), I drove over 1200kms, as we decided to visit Cadiz and the surrounding area as well as the Algarve. The hire car was a nearly new Seat Ibiza. Immaculately presented. We took out the Super cover so as not to have any worries at all should anything happen to it. We went to several beaches, inevitably picking up sand, no extra charge. Anyway, in my experience, this is a well run honest business and I highly recommend it. I rarely post reviews.

Outstanding service. Price was great, so was car, no hassle with pick up or return. Pick up point was at a kiosk in the main car park, closer to the airport than it shows on the map. I would definately use them again!

A good car company service, however when we tried to contact the 24hr service due to a delayed flight there was no answer on multiple occasions. Easy pick up and drop off with no problems with the car throughout. This is the third time we have used this company but worth checking the 24hr service is correct when checking the car out.

Booked a small hatchback for a week back in October for the half term in May just gone. Everything was as per email, collection was easy, car was fine, price very good and easy to drop off, no issues. Thanks guys I ll definitely use again when I m back.

Excellente expérience avec Drive4fun Nous avons réservé une voiture pour 1 semaine, nous avons eu une C3 quasiment neuve, très propre, en super état. La remise des clés se fait sur le parking de laéroport. Nous leur avions précisé par email en amont que nous ne disposions que dune carte de débit française, ça ne leur posait pas de problème. Nous avons pris lassurance, payé la caution de 300 (qui na même pas été débité) Au retour, lagent a simplement vérifié le niveau dessence et cest tout ! Simple, sans mauvaise surprise, nous recommandons !

I rented a car for a full week with Drive4fun after reading bad reviews for the big chains and was delighted with the service. Picked up a Peugeot 208 in good condition took full insurance which was very reasonable and the car also had a toll tag for the motorways. Returning the car was really quick and easy compared with many other airports and had no issues with claims the vehicle was damaged etc. I recommend them and will definitely use again. Thanks

We always use Drive4Fun when visiting the Algarve. They usually give a better deal than other companies but not only that, they are honest and reliable with no surprise extras, easy on airport collection and friendly, helpful operators.

Bonne expérience avec Drive4Fun. Jai eu la chance de tomber sur quelquun qui parlait anglais car sinon, cest sur, cela peut vite devenir compliqué ! Ils sont difficiles à trouver à laéroport car les instructions ne sont pas claires. Prenez bien une assurance complète car au moindre pépin, ils vous facturent.

Je loue actuellement à faro une Fiat panda, payée 750 pour 15 jours soit le 10eme du prix de la voiture et c est un veau, sans aucune reprise, aucune puissance, aucun modernisme, vitre à main a l arrière, un port usb qui ne fonctionne pas, donc pas de gps pas de possibilité de brancher sa musique Tout à fait anormal de louer une voiture aussi bas de gamme à ce prix là Je suis extrêmement déçu et je ne recommande pas ce loueur et pourtant j ai l habitude de louer des voitures et je n ai jamais eu un modèle si bas de gamme, sans aucun équipement à un prix aussi cher J ai bien noté votre réponse mais vous ne répondez pas à ma question. Le système audio USB ne fonctionne pas ou fonctionne par moment et donc je suis bloqué. Que fait on alors? Je me doute bien que vous avez des voitures mieux équipées et que nous sommes en été, mais à ce prix là, on peut s attendre à beaucoup mieux 750 pour 15 jours, pour une voiture qui vaut 8500 neuve, prime hybride déduite en france, , c est exagéré Au Portugal je ne sais pas

Pas facile la première fois de trouver le parking 4 , pas d inquiétude , on est pas seul ,bon contact avec drive4fun qui parler français , 108 impeccable , avec badge ,payer en carte de débit ,caution 300 , remis en compte 1 semaine après comme il m a été dit, pour le retour à 5h30, laisser la voiture sur le parking 1 juste à côté du 4 et laisser la clé dans la boîte à gant, bonne expérience avec cette location, seul bémol, je ne passerais plus par carjet

Nous avons loué un véhicule pour une semaine. La location c est déroulé parfaitement, prise en main rapide et retour rapide. Nous avons pu payé avec une carte de débit sans supplément, le tarif de location est avantageux pour le type de véhicule que nous avons loué (Peugeot 2008), pas de frais de supplément pour les jeunes conducteurs, la full assurance est pas chère (10 /jour). Hele goede service. We konden met een debit kaart de auto huren door de borg vooruit te betalen. Binnen 2 weken na het inleveren van de auto hadden we de borg weer terug. We kregen een nette, bijna nieuwe auto mee. Drive4fun was goed telefonisch bereikbaar als dit nodig was.

Notre séjour nest pas fini mais à mon arrivée ils ont été très compréhensif face à ma situation avec mon conjoint bloqué à laéroport en France, ils ont acceptés sur simple photo de mon permis de maintenir la réservation pour que je puisse conduire la voiture. Je suis donc venu avec une carte de débit et cela na posé aucun problème ce qui a vraiment sauvé le début de mes vacances. La voiture est neuve et toutes options ! Jespère que le séjour se finira aussi bien car rapport qualité, prix et service cest super ! Le plus est quil ny a pas besoin de payer à lavance jai pu faire le règlement du véhicule directement sur place.

A straight forward and great car hire company. I had 0 issues and the staff were friendly and helpful. I received my full deposit back and all fees and charges were explained in the beginning when hiring the car. If I m ever in Portugal again I will definitely use this company again

Rented a Fiat Panda from these guys during a recent October break. Great little car, fairly new and clean & tidy too. Easy to find the office when leaving arrivals at Faro airport, the member of staff who dealt with us was polite and professional. First time weve been to the Algarve, should we return then wed definitely use Drive 4 Fun again.

Second time we rented from this company. Great car, fairly new and clean & tidy too, exept for the inside of the front window. But lets be honest, these are never clean, from whom ever or where ever you rent. SAFETY!!! Easy to find the office when leaving arrivals at Faro airport. Staff was very friendly and professional. I am really happy with drive4fun. We were looking for a car rental company and we are very glad we found them. The communication is very clear and they are very friendly on every channel: telephone, email, and conversation. We were warmly greeted and every detail of the car rent was explained clearly. The car is almost new, no problems and very smooth and comfortable. We enjoyed the time travelling with the car. Returning back the car was also simple and efficient and we could catch our flight. I wish I can give 10 stars in this review because drive4fun is simply amazing.

Check your car in detail before signing for it. Friends with us arrived in the dark and were given a black car, so while checks were made it was difficult to see detail on a black car in the dark. When they returned the car they were then charged 450Euros for some minor scuffs in the front quarter that they did not do. I was with them the whole time so Im sure the scuffs werent caused by them The Drive4Fun reps were waiting in the car park and went immediately to the damage as soon as the car was parked, yet showed little to no interest in checking the other car that was with us. Its almost as though they knew exactly where to look! ETA e-mail sent with hire details- as requested by Drive4Fun. No reply received 3 days later!

Kaikki toimi erittäin hyvin. Vuokrasin auton suoraan yhtiön sivuilta vakuutuksineen, ei ennakkomaksua ja autoa ei tarvinnut tarkastaa ja palautuskin toimi moitteettomasti. Auto oli siisti ja vähän ajettu. Suosittelen ja tulen käyttämään yhtiötä seuraavalla matkalla .

Sehr freundliche Autovermietung mit guten Konditionen, auch für <25 Jährige. Leider mussten wir unseren geplanten Urlaub absagen. Stornierung war kostenfrei und ohne Komplikationen möglich. Wenn es doch mal nach Faro gehen sollte, werde ich definitiv wieder hier ein Auto mieten. Bei der Buchung auf jeden Fall exzellenter Service und superschnelle Antworten!

Great car rental. We rented an automatic for about 3 weeks. They were significantly cheaper then other rental options. Fast and easy pickup, no push to upsell. We did go for the toll road device which is super nice on the toll roads. Its $20, but they give you $15 in credit to use on the device. Drop off was also easy and fast. I would both recommend, and use them again in the future.

Location d une petite voiture a Faro pour 14 jours, assez cher (+405 sans assurance). A l arrivée, l agent me conseille de prendre l option autoroute et m informe que les 20 sont remboursées si non utilisées ou le restant du forfait -5 est remboursé en cas d utilisation du forfait autoroute. J accepte en dernières minutes cette option en supplément. Au retour, les conditions avaient changé. Les 20 sont « cadeaux » quoi qu il en soit. Résultat: j ai payé encore plus cher que prévu cette location. Je ne trouve pas normal ces loueurs qui racontent n importe quoi à leur client à leur arrivée pour ajouter des options. Dommage!

Voiture réservée par internet a l avance. Rapport qualité excellent: 330 euros pour 13 jours ( 108 Peugeot récente et propre) avec assurance complète incluse. Second conducteur gratuit. Caution de 300 euros a déposer + dépôt de 20 euros pour système péage . Le tout restituer en 1 semaine . Retrait/depot voiture très pratique sur parking aéroport p4 avec guichet multi compagnies. Je recommande!

Nous avons loué chez drive 4fun via un comparateur. Point +: Excellent rapport qualité prix environ 230 pour 7 jours pour une 207 avec siège auto. L intérieur n était pas nickel mais ça passait... Point -: Ce serait bcp mieux d avoir le plein à la prise en charge. Leur bureau se trouve sur le parking de laéroport et les loueurs parlent suffisamment anglais. Autre problème. Ce qui devait être une empreinte de carte va être débité. Édit: ils ont répondu très rapidement à mon mail et le problème de la caution devrait être réglé.

Le meilleur service de location que nous avons trouvé. Dune grande sympathie. Nous avons loué notre voiture cet été et avons beaucoup apprécié. Pas besoin de payer à lavance, prix correct et surtout pas besoin de prendre un car pour aller au dépot de location, la voiture vous attend à laéroport. Nous louons depuis plusieurs année dans dautres agences mais celle-ci reste la meilleure que nous avons trouvé. Nous allons retourner cest sûr. Je vous recommande

950 excess fee charged to my credit card rather than being placed on hold as would normally happen when you hire a car. Returned car 5 days ago and they still Haven t refunded this charge so now I have to pay it myself or face further credit card charges. Not impressed. *UPDATE* 16 days since returning the car and still no sign of my 950.

Difficult to find on Google , but excellent company. They were recommended by a other rental company , who had no rental cars left. We could pay with debit card, credit card is needed in case off... Almost new car ....Will hire next time here again . P4 is a short walk from the airport.

We had an excellent experience with Drive4fun at Faro Airport. The place is a short walk through the car parks but trolleys are fine to go. We were directed to the right company at the hut and service was friendly and smooth and we got the estate car we rented which was perfect for traveling with kids. On drop off the girl came and found us as we were unloading and was very friendly and efficient in getting he paperwork done and us into the airport. Would definitely use again.

Worst car hire experience ever. 1,250 excess amount taken from my Credit Card without explanation or receipt. Other Car Hire companies worldwide take a holding excess amount and do not charge Credit Card. Their T&C state that excess amount will be refunded when car is returned undamaged. I returned my car on 02nd Oct but refund to my Credit Card did not happen until 21st Oct. I contacted the Company on several occasions. Staff on phone were rude, could not speak proper English and kept telling me I had to wait for my refund. Similar experience to Mel Gates review below. Extreme caution advised with this company.

You say I did not mention about the car, and you are right I did not because I wanted to get my main point across that if you pay an excess charge at Drive4fun it will be deducted from your credit card immediately, and you will not get your money refunded until 21 days have elapsed but with customer centred companies it is a holding deposit not a charge, so the amount is not taken from your credit card. But my comments on the car, it was old had 40k kilometres on the clock badly dented outside and in covid times was not properly cleaned inside. As for price it may have been cheap but then so was the service, the quality of the car and customer support. Be very careful with this Car Hire Company

Une première expérience avec drive4fun au Portugal. Accueil sympathique, nous avons eu un peu de difficulté à trouver le lieu de réception à notre arrivée. C était pourtant bien indiqué en petit sur notre réservation. Il ne faut pas vous précipiter comme nous, vers les autres loueurs de voitures, ce nest pas la!!! Le seul point négatif était le rendu des clefs où nous navons eu aucune personne directement à qui nous adresser... Pas toujours évident de faire confiance....

Sérieux, je recommande. Pas de mauvaises surprises lors de la restitution du véhicule comme chez la majorité des autres loueurs et pas de forcing pour prendre leur assurance.

Have used drive 4 fun on 3 separate occasions and would not consider using any of the other companies... Last time being last week. The staff and service has always been exceptional they certainly do not try and catch you with extra charges and are always honest about any damage on their vehicles at time of hire. I even had use of a free sat nav on this occassion even though I had brought my own. As regards excess charges these are not paid from your account as some have said they are held as pending and released within 5 days ....as they state quite clearly at the time of booking. Only wish they had a presence in Lanzarote and Croatia.....would never have to use anyone else . Keep up the good work and looking forward to using you next year.

Voiture donnée pas celle choisi sur internet mais surclassée donc ça va, par contre pas du tout propre une odeur de pipi de chat affreux! Le problème c est que les voitures ne sont pas sur l aéroport donc si ont veut changer il faut attendre qu ils amenent des voitures sachant qu on avait deja attendu une heure... Deja mieux que certaines compagnies ou on doit prendre une navette pr aller chercher sa voiture (deja vecu donc faites attention) mais en resume pas terrible.

Very friendly, competent and honest car hire service at Faro airport, situated a short walk from the entrance/exit, in an area of the airport car park where a few other rental companies also keep their cars - they provide all the guidance needed. I went with them back in August 2019, after reading horror stories of other companies then spending days searching for a service that would not rip me off. The car was returned with some slight damage to the paintwork sustained in a car park in the end and I was actually suitably contacted and charged very very fairly for the damage left, no issues. That being said, I also took out my own European excess protection (also recommended for any rentals abroad) so I was able to pay Drive4fun and claim my money back from excess insurance. I would suggest to contact them directly for a quote, they were very clear and fairly priced and I experienced good communication via email before and after our trip. Thanks to the team, will be sure to return when travelling to the area again. Highly recommended

I would give them 10 stars if I could! This is an exemplary company of young people that are polite, engaging, informative, precise, punctual, friendly, and professional. Due to the complicated nature of our arrival, due in part to the changing travel restrictions with COVID, I needed to change my date and arrival time numerous times. Every time that I wrote an email sometimes even instantly I received a response, always in perfect English and super polite, patient, and supportive. I can´t say enough great things about this company. I have rented cars in many countries around the world and this is definitely the best car rental experience that I have EVER had! Highly recommendable to rent from this company. I highly doubt that you will regret it!

For the last 10 years, Portugal has been our winter destination. We always use Drive4fun, the cars are always modern and clean. The staff are extremely helpful. Weve had one problem with a car in ten years, luckily, we where on the road to Faro airport to pick our friends up, phoned Drive4fun a new car was waiting and the airport. When you fly back home, you just park up and walk to departure. Theyre a very helpful company

Fantastic service. Quick response, free delivery and pick up of the car. Reasonable prices on insuraces made us take the full one just in case. Low prices overall compared to other big rental car companys. We got a nice, clean small Clio. Everything worked perfectly. When we called for them to pick up the car it only took them 3 minutes, impressing! Would NEVER choose another company. Especially hat of for Carlos.

I have found Drive4Fun on zestcarrental website and I decided to email them to get an accurate quote for all my requests. They have answered very quick and provided me with all their options and prices in a very professional manner and they even replied back after I have informed them I wont go ahead with the rental as a different company offered me a better deal. So I recommend emailing them as you will be surprised how professional they are and what offer they have.

Mailed them directly for a quote, quick response, really fair price, car was brand-new (1.500km) and spotless (and had an integrated navigation system which is really important by the way since Google Maps cant seem to make its navigation work in Portugal), pickup procedure was easy and they didnt try to upsell anything, 300 deposit on the credit card was quickly refunded. What can I say - perfect service, excellent product, truly deserves 5 stars.

Rented a car from Drive4fun by email. Very fast communication. We rented a seat ibiza, a nice car for a good price! We definitely recommend renting a car from Francisco to explore Faro and the Algarve!

Just back from 3 weeks touring around the southern half of Portugal. From Faro we went up the Spanish border to Marvao, across to Tomar, then down to Lisbon, before travelling down the Atlantic coast and back across the Algarve to Faro. Weve found that hiring cars from Faro airport can be difficult, but for our past two trips weve used Drive 4 Fun and found them to exceptional. Clara was extremely helpful when we checked in, the car was an almost new Fiat Tipo hatchback and we had a most enjoyable time. Wed certainly recommend Drive 4 Fun, theyre straight, easy to use and from our experience, very reliable.

Booked a couple of times with them now through Zest. Hire is straightforward. Security deposit only 300 which doesnt get deducted unless there is a problem. 18 deposit for incase toll roads used (this was refunded on arrival hone). Car received was clean and a model up from what we ordered and well maintained. Return was unfussy, agent waiting at airport, gives the car a very quick look over, thumbs up and takes the keys. Nice to see a very honest car hire that makes the whole process easy. Oh and the prices were highly competitive too.

Jestem bardzo zadowolona z wypo yczalni. Samochód wypo yczony (na prze omie maja i czerwca, czyli w sezonie) na 5 dni za 115 z pe nym ubezpieczeniem. Auto by o nowe (mia o nieca y miesi c). Wniosek by wype niony przez ich stron internetow , nast pnie ca a komunikacja odbywa a si przez maila. Po dotarciu na lotnisko i wype nieniu dokumentów trzeba by o zostawi depozyt w wysoko ci 300 (co jest bardzo nisk kwot w porównaniu z innymi wypo yczalniami, gdzie chc ok. 1200 ). Dodatkowo pobieraj 20 depozytu w razie gdyby my planowali korzysta z ich p atnej autostrady A22. Samo zdawanie auta polega o na odstawieniu samochodu w wyznaczonej godzinie na teren lotniska i koniec. Dzi ki pe nemu ubezpieczeniu nie trzeba by o martwi si o ewentualne obtarcia, lekkie zabrudzenia w rodku jak i na zewn trz (jak to przy normalnym u ytkowaniu samochodu przez par dni) czy tego typu rzeczy. Depozyt zwrócony po 4 dniach roboczych. Dodatkowym atutem jest mo liwo posiadania dodatkowego kierowcy bez adnych op at. Naprawd polecam.

Good rental car service. It is small but cars are new a decent spec. The company is smaller with only one person at the caunter so in busy periods you might need to wait a little. Read the terms and conditions as sometimes the email exchange is but confusing. I would definitely use them again.

Overall renting experience was good, staff was helpful and warm welcoming. The car, Nissan micra 2016, was in good shape except for some scratches, all listed in the rental dorm and some minors were added by my request without any problem. Pros - cheap price for baby car seat, staff, fuel policy, car condition, rental included insurance for Spain (specifically for my needs and 4 rental days it was more economic compared to other car rental who request additional insurance, but on longer periods it might be less economic) Cons - Toll road policy, for some reason they charge you for a fix amount. As a result eventually you could pay more than you used(unlike other rental companies). Drop off can be without a representative on site, I would always prefer to wrap up and close the rental, car inspection and so when I am on site and not without my presence.

Car was 2016 and a bit grubby,arrived at airport at 7.30 pm but couldnt find the pick up area until 8.10 pm,I was charged a 20 late fee,total rip off,would not use again
