He showed what was available at a very reasonable price and most importantly with absolutely NO hidden cost . He was very straight up and made it all sound very straightforward and simple . We originally rented from another car rental agency but at the pickup we got dragged into red tape that left us stranded (and a full hiring fee forfeited) on a Sunday morning. Looking online, I phoned Drive4Miles who had us on the road within an hour. No deposits or credit cards required. Friendly service. Had the car for 6 days and when we dropped it off at the airport, they were waiting exactly on time. I wholeheartedly recommend. We will be using Drive4Miles every year from now on.

Great experience from the team - turned up at the door and they provided a car instantly (off-season I know). I am grateful to Duarte and Paulo for their outstanding service and professionalism. They truly made my car rental experience in Faro smooth and pleasant. Renting a car can often be a daunting process, especially in Faro. However, these gentlemen eased that challenge and their expertise was evident throughout the process. The price of a full insurance option was expensive though (130 for 3 days, 43.30 /day), with additional costs at the end for gas and highway tickets. It was a bit intimidating to be asked those extras given the initial price, but their kindness and professionalism made it all worthwhile, plus no deposit was required, therefore no regrets at all. I had expected to be treated with mistrust or discrimination because of my origins, but that wasn t the case at all. On the contrary, they were genuinely friendly, down-to-earth, and hospitable. I hope their business flourishes and they continue delivering this exceptional level of service. If I ever return to Faro, I wouldn t hesitate to rent from them again, and I will gladly recommend them to my network. Obrigado

Wonderful experience! Prior to arrival, communication via email was very easy and responsive. Upon arrival, the office is right down the street from the Faro train station (close enough to walk for a family of four with two children under three). He had a car seat as requested for our son. The car was very clean and seemed brand new. Drop off was even easier and he met us at the train station at 745 in the morning so we didn t have to make the (short) walk. We couldn t have been happier and will definitely use Drive4Miles if ever renting a car in Faro again.

The guys at Drive4Miles have been one of the best experiences of car rental Ive had. We reserved a car only a couple of days before, and they offered us a good solution. Had a nice & smooth experience with Drive4miles at faro! The office is a short 2min walk away from the bus terminal (car parking space opposite). There, the office was well organized, and only had a short wait in A/C cooled room. Paulo, who managed our booking was great, super friendly and really helpful.

Je conseille sans hésiter. On a loué une Opel Corsa 5 jours chez Drive4miles. Tout s est bien passé. Cerise sur le gâteau : ils parlent très bien français. Le gérant est très arrangeant et extrêmement gentil. On a récupéré le véhicule à l agence dans le centre de Faro car notre hôtel était juste en face. On est venu réserver 2 jours avant, on a voulu régler et le gérant nous a dit qu on réglerait le jour du départ. Il fonctionne à la confiance. Il y a le télépeage mais on a évité d utiliser l autoroute sur les conseils du gérant. Et il a bien eu raison car ça nous a permis de visiter des petits villages sur notre trajet. Pour le retour on avait rdv à la station service à côté de l aéroport. Puis la personne (désolée je ne souviens plus des prénoms) nous a déposé devant la porte d embarquement. Aucune surprise aucun supplément caché. Au top. Je recommande. Si je reviens en Algarve je n hésiterai pas une seconde et je reviendrai chez Drive4miles.

Cette agence de location nous a été recommandée par notre hôtel. Craignant une arnaque en raison des mauvais avis sur dautres agences, nous avons été rassurés par le contact direct avec le gérant. À notre arrivée à l aéroport, une personne fort sympathique nous attendait pour nous conduire à la voiture, qui était très propre. Grâce à l assurance tous risques, nous étions totalement sereins. Le prix était également très abordable, et le retour à l aéroport s est déroulé sans problème. Un grand merci à toute l équipe, nous ferons de nouveau appel à eux lors de notre prochain séjour !

Si vous cherchez une location pour votre passage à Faro n hésitez pas. Ayant des difficultés pour trouver une agence acceptant de nous louer une voiture en jeune conducteur et avec une carte de débit seulement (et non de crédit comme exigé par les agences d aéroport), nous avons loué la voiture pour 5 jours lors de notre séjour sans aucun soucis, nous avons pu récupéré la voiture facilement malgré notre retard. Très disponible pour échanger par mail afin d avoir des informations préalables. The owner was super helpful with all the tips (what roads to avoid not to pay extra tolls etc.) Price with full insurance was very good compared to other more popular rentals near the Airport (90 euros for Opel Corsa). No additional fees for returning the car after closure hours (up to midnight). We left the car in whatever available spot in the vicinity of the office. Highly recommend!

Honnêtement, jai eu qq doute sur la crédibilité de cette agence qui se situe au niveau de la gare routière au premier étage dun collectif. Les avis Google mont rassuré et franchement je ne peux que conseiller. Paulo nous a accueilli en français dans son petit bureau. Contrat avec toutes les options ne nécessitant aucune empreinte bancaire. Paiement en espèces ou cartes bancaires. Le seul mot dordre de cette agence : la confiance. Si vous devez prendre lautoroute, aucune difficulté, chaque voiture est équipée dun bip pour les télépéages. A vous de dire au retour si vous avez utilisé ou non cette facilité. Vraiment allez y les yeux fermés.

Excellent car renting company, based on our own experience two weeks ago. We rented a comfortable car (Opel Corsa, super clean, only 54.000 km on the meter) for 11 days to explore the Algarve. Our contact person was relaxed, very clear about price and conditions and good English language skills. Fair renting rates, we also opted for full insurance to avoid any discussion afterwards (total price: approx 350+150=500). We picked up the car at their office in Faro and handed-over the keys at the airport. We planned to meet at 8 am, we were there 30 min earlier but he was also already there, great. Nous avons fait un départ de l aéroport et une arrivée à l aéroport et tout s est bien déroulé. La voiture était exactement celle demandé et neuve toutes options. really nice guy, pocked me up near the airport. i paid 495eur for 10days with full insurance, which is maybe a bit to much i think. but no credit card and no cash deposit. i arrived at his business through guys that i asked bc i didnt have a credit card and few companies would rent me a car bc of this. im happy that i found him and the whole process was easy and also to give it back i just sent him a picture of where i parked and through the key in his post box. i had a big scratch on the sode of the car and maybe some other smaller things, but he said only no problem you have full insurance. easy no problems

Absolutely flawless experience renting a car from Faro airport! We were greeted at the airport right on time (they had even checked the flight to arrive for when we landed). Drop off was equally smooth and stress free. Paperwork was sorted out really quick and we were on our way in no time both during pickup and drop off. They are a real genuine family run business and I really recommend them when in the Algarve! Our only regret was not getting the full insurance and our credit card was held for the duration of the rental (we were luckily okay but you cannot risk it with other drivers and the road conditions-as we had a few scares with people driving dangerously and dodgy roads when exploring the coast). The full insurance may be a tad bit more expensive but really worth it to have a stress free holiday!

I rented a car for 3 days and give 10 out of 10 for the experience. I had booked by sending mail and got confirmation next day. Price was inclusive of all taxes. Rental office was on the 1st floor (what we refer as 2nd floor in US). Very friendly service and we completed the paperwork in less than 5 minutes. I was explained about the roundabouts and toll system, and the basic features of the Skodia-Fabia. I had a train to catch upon return and so we agreed that I could drop the car at the train station. Super convinient. Good price and great service.

We rented an automatic car for 3days. They were the only reliable renting place in downtown Faro so we went with them. We arrived an hour early than our expected pick up time without notice and Paulo was able to sort us out. The process was the easiest I ve experience. No credit card needed! We paid using mobile transfer. They also explain how the highways work in Algarve to not pay additional for the tolled highway. They also allowed us to drop off the car in the airport outside of their service hours for a minimal fee. Highly recommend this rental company for your car needs in Faro/Algarve!

Wir hatten Probleme am Flughafen ein Auto zu bekommen, da wir keine Kreditkarte mitgenommen hatten. Die Agenturen am Flughafen waren komplett unkooperativ, weshalb wir total verzweifelt auf Drive4Miles Rent a Car gestoßen sind. Die Vermietung lief total unkompliziert. Sehr zu empfehlen. Und wurde noch das Maut-Prinzip erklärt und großes Vertrauen entgegen gebracht, dass wir es auch verstanden haben. Mietbedingungen sind aus der Internetseite gut zu entnehmen. Wir hatten zusätzlich die Versicherungen pro Tag genommen, da wir keine Kaution auf einer Kreditkarte hinterlegen konnten. Alles in allem sehr zu empfehlen!

We went directly into the office without a reservation, but in 5 minutes we already managed to rent an Opel Corsa o nly for 2 days (we stayed a short time in Algarve), which was in a very good condition and perfect for 2 people to see the surroundings. Als wir das Auto wieder abgeben haben wurden wir sogar noch bis zum Flughafen gefahren.

I had a great experience renting a car for the weekend. Paulo was waiting when I arrived Friday afternoon. There was no wait time. He walked me to the car to explain everything. When I returned on Sunday, earlier than we had discussed, I phoned him and he showed up within 5 minutes. Again, no issues. Car was new and drove beautifully.

Would highly recommend, easy to deal with, no beating around the bush with prices just tells you a fair price and thats that, car was a skoda and was basically brand new, lovely to drive and very good on fuel, We stuck to the N125 roads to avoid further charges if you use the highway, we must of done around 200miles over the 3 days and it was no arguing or any charges when we dropped the car back off to the office. Sehr unkomplizierte Autovermietung. In Portugal benötigt man in der Regel eine Kreditkarte um ein Auto zu mieten, um die jeweilige Kaution blocken zu lassen. Eine Debitkarte wird meist nicht akzeptiert. Ich war offensichtlich schlecht informiert, da ich ohne Kreditkarte nach Portugal gereist bin. Die Jungs von Drive4Miles haben mir aus der Patsche geholfen. Hier ist eine Kreditkarte oder Kaution nicht zwingend nötig. Ich konnte hier mit meiner Debitkarte bezahlen, jedoch musste ich die rundum Versicherung nehmen (in anbetracht meiner Lage akzeptabel und in Portugel wohl auch empfehlenswert). Die Rückgabe war nach Absprache ebenfalls reibungslos. Das Auto war ein fast neuer Seat Ibiza mit vielen Extras (vor allem die Klimaanlage war ein Segen!). Für die Autovermietung in Faro absolut empfehlenswert! Ich kann mich der Gesamtbewertung nur anschließen!

I recommend 200%!! Rented a car in April there, I was just out from the train station and went there in hope to find a car asap. As it said on the sign on the door, they are not always at the office because they are taking care of the cars and everything so I called and Duarte was there like in 15min. Im always scared when I rent a car because I had bad experiences with car companies in the past like everyone I guess. But I highly recommend this one! Paulo and his team were so transparent, kind, they even dropped my mom to the airport after she dropped the car. Also, I damaged a bit the car but because I took the insurance everything was covered. So, I only had good surprises with them! I will not hesitate to rent there and reach out next time I come to Faro for sure! ;)

Great car rental company! The communication was very smooth, we easily booked a car before our arrival. The owner is really friendly and professional. We picked up the car in the city and could return it at the airport without any additional cost. The car was in great condition and worked perfectly! It had a small device that was recording our highway passes, so we could easily settle up the highway payment while returning the vehicle. Totally recommend!

We had rented a car from Drive4Miles for 3 days during our visit to Faro in April 2023. Service was attentive and the staff were very professional. Pick up and drop off was smooth and we had no issues with the car at all. The office was also very conveniently located just opposite the central bus station, and a short walk away from the train station. Highly recommend Drive4Miles if you ever find yourself in Faro.

I had a great experience with Drive 4 Miles and cannot fault them. The office was easy to get to from the bus station and the booking and collection process was seamless. Payment was upfront and costs were transparent. There were no hidden fees. The car was in excellent condition and the team were helpful in other queries I had about the local area. Very happy about this company, I can only give positive comments about them: we rented a car for 2 days everything went very smoothly, they allow renting without a credit card which is very rare in Faro and Duarte was helpful and very kind. La voiture que nous avions été propre et dans un très bon état. I prezzi sono competitivi e, con un piccolo supplemento per l assicurazione completa, si può evitare di lasciare il deposito (utilissimo per chi, come noi, non ha la carta di credito). Paulo ci ha persino dato uno strappo in un posto vicino all autonoleggio per ripartire da Faro in completa comodità. Super consigliato!

Excellent car rental experience! Staff was friendly and very accommodating. Went out of their way to meet me earlier than designated to return the car. Rental includes the electronic highway toll meter most other rental companies do not I believe. You just pay the actual toll value. Car was brand new and drove beautifully. Super fijne ervaring gehad met Drive4miles. We werden tijdig opgewacht op het vliegveld. Een vriendelijke en zeer representatieve meneer kwam ons ophalen en begeleiden naar de gehuurde auto. De auto was keurig schoon. Goede uitleg en op de airport de papieren ingevuld. Bij terugkomst stond hij wederom al voordat wij aankwamen op ons te wachten en ging de overdracht vlotjes. Ik zie dit iedereen aanraden.

Aujourdhui nous avons reçu une contravention de 60 pour 8 de péage non payés (abonnement autoroute non valide) lan dernier. Le propriétaire de lagence nous avait pourtant loué un appareil, et on a payé 10 en fin de location. Non seulement il refourgue des abonnements non valides mais en plus il balance ses clients !

Whilst they maybe more expensive than most of the other car rentals in Faro it is more than made up for with their customer service! From the first enquiry, to me booking incorrectly and being able to rebook without any charge they were great! Nothing was too much trouble. They meet you at the airport (returning when we called as our flight was delayed), and it was no trouble to drop the car off at the railway station at 08.00 on a Sunday morning. The chap who met us was polite, professional and happy to work round our holiday. The car was spotless and all the paperwork easy to sort. Vorher online das Auto reserviert und dann in Faro ins Büro nahe dem Hafen gegangen. Wir haben sicherheitshalber eine Kasko von 15 pro Tag dazu gebucht, alternativ hätten wir eine Kaution von 1500 auf der Kreditkarte sperren lassen können. Der Mitarbeiter vor Ort war sehr freundlich und angenehm bei der Beratung. Wir hatten 7 Tage einen Opel Corsa und dieser lief die gesamte Zeit tippietoppi! Es gibt Autobahnabschnitte, wo eine Maut zu entrichten ist. Das Auto hatte diesbezüglich an der Frontscheibe einen Mautscanner. Der Mitarbeiter sagte, dass wir uns die Beträge einfach notieren/merken sollen und den Betrag bei Abgabe einfach unkompliziert im Auto hinterlegen sollen. Abgabe des Autos erfolgte direkt in Nähe des Flughafens, wie vereinbart. Die restlichen 100 Meter kann man gern laufen, jedoch hat uns eine netter Switzer Mitarbeiter hingefahren, danke dafür...

Duarte, the owner of the rental place, is the most pleasant person Ive met in recent years. He has excellent communication skills in both German and English, and he extends superb hospitality. Duarte provided us with valuable tips on where to go and what to see in the Algarve region. Making an agreement and renting one of his cars was very easy; the entire process took just 5 minutes. The car selection is fantastic; we opted for the Opel Corsa with low fuel consumption. The rental location in the city center of Faro was convenient, and theres even the option to return the car at the airport. Additionally, its worth noting that not only can you pay with a card, but cash is also accepted, making it convenient. Moreover, there are no high deposits required. This flexibility in payment options adds to the overall ease and satisfaction of renting from Duarte. Highly recommended! Certainly, I will come back without a doubt.
