Worst car rental company I have ever used. One tiny scratch on a rim, which was already there: 261 euros. If you rent here, make sure you have insurance and take pictures of every part of the car (including the interior).
Helpful friendly staff. Orlando helped us to solve a small problem at the beginning of the rental and it was nice to see him again when we returned. Would certainly use this company again. Obrigado to the team at Faro.
Even though the pick up location was Faro Airport the office is not there so you get shuttled from the airport. Despite the directions provided where to find the shuttle it's not that easy. The actual shuttle was labelled SurPrice rent a car, the company which handles the check in and return ,and this was pointed by a helpful driver of another company. The so-called helpline is a prerecorded message which just repeats the same instructions. It took an hour from exiting the airport to picking up the car and you have to wait in the scorching heat for the shuttle. The agent who checked us in was very professional. There was another person who handed us the car and he tried to rush me through the damage checks. And believe me there were LOTS of marks on this vehicle. When we returned the vehicle, much like everyone else ,a small paint chip the size of a rice grain was uncovered and it was pointed that would cost me £158. That was on a body panel which already had 3-4 marks on it. Luckily I was composed enough and had more time on my rental to go to a detailing place and get a touch up pen which hid the mark however it was real stressful. The charge was escaped however another person who was returning the car at the same time was charged 250+ euros for the tiniest scrape at the door edge. If you decide to rent from this company please please please take your time and be thorough with your initial check-in walk around and take as many photos as possible. EDIT : For some reason the company has taken £2.26 from my Credit Card a whole month after returning the car. Luckily I caught them quick and was able to get a refund. If you're planning on renting please save yourself the hassle and choose another Oh and by the way all the "positive" reviews are clearly fake , especially the ones mentioning their Names , Jose , the manager etc. none of them wear name tags or actually give you their names
We enjoyed the car. Transfer from OPO to the rental station was not easy to find and help desk was not so helpful in case noone takes the phone. However we managed to find the shuttle bus after some unnecessary delay. Please put some signs to the pickup point. Thank you.
Surprise were very efficient when we got to deal with them direct. Jose Osorio made the car drop off a very simple task and was very professional. The lady in the office at Surprice was also so helpful and explained things in detail unlike the broker we had booked through.
Good service, fast and efficient, shuttle is 5 mins from airport and prompt, for the saving the extra step of shuttle bus rather than on site at airport is well worth it. José was a real nice to close off with. Obrigado
We already rented a car several times in Portugal with other car rental companies and never had any problems. Unfortunately, we had the same bad experience as many others have mentioned here in the reviews when we rented a car for the first time at Drive4Move (they are also linked to SurPrice Car Rentals). The pick-up of the car at the reception desk was OK and we mentioned to each other that we could rent a car with this company again in the future. The car did already have a lot of damages and there were also little spots of dirt. I went around the car together with the employee who was marking the damages on the paper. He missed a damage on the roof rail of the car, which I pointed out and asked to mark it on the paper as well. But unfortunately, I myself, did not look thoroughly enough to the wheels and the lower part of the car. When we returned the car, we had the same person to check it. Within less than 1 minute he accused us of a scratch on the wheel rim, that according to him, was not there before because he had not marked it on his paper and he said that he had checked the car very thoroughly (note: the damage on the roof rail would also not have been indicated on the paper if I hadn't point it out to him). We had to pay 202,99 € which we did because we definitely wanted to have our security deposit of 2460 € back and we wanted to be on time on the airport for our flight. There were also other people who didn't have a problem, so of course they will leave a good review. But what else can you do you if they pick you out and accuse you of a damage you didn't cause when you have to be at the airport in time, you can do nothing else than pay and they know that. We contacted the company before leaving this review, we got the same kind of response as you can find on the other bad experiences reviews here. We will need to rent a car several times in the future, but we will never book at this company again.
Scammers check the car very carefully.3 tiny black dots on the bumper which were already there and I couldn't see them cost me €190.use them at your peril.you will have to zoom in!!

A laéroport aucune indication dorientation afin de connaître le point de rencontre de la navette. Impossible davoir lagence au téléphone. Manque dinformation concernant les conditions de restitution du véhicule. Absence totale dintérêt du le client.

A right scam... When to take the car and they charged me an extra 250 for insurance plus a deposit of 500 which you dont get back for 4 weeks!!! And if I didnt buy insurance they wanted 3000 deposit which would be held for 4 weeks!!! A right scam the hole thing!!!

Ottimo rent-car veicoli in ottime condizioni, serietà gentilezza del personale, navetta puntuale. Occhio alla carta credito chiedono almeno 1600 di copertura per deposito cauzionale. Comunque alla riconsegna, se tutto in regola, dopo poche ore viene rimosso il blocco. Prendere anche telepass è indispensabile per viaggiare sereno e senza scocciature, alla riconsegna verrà conteggiato i pedaggi fruiti. Complimenti posso veramente ritenermi soddisfatto del servizio. Esta manhã recebi um pedido de autorização no valor de 0,80 cêntimos no meu cartão de crédito utilizado num aluguer recente (há mais de um mês)....isto é invulgar... fez o pedido ou foi uma tentativa de clonagem, obrigado pela resposta.
Un peu excentré de l aéroport mais des navettes existent entre l aéroport et le parc de location. Équipe de loueurs très sympas à l aller comme au retour. On a pas le stress comme quand on ramène une voiture à Paris. La personne qui s est occupée de moi (Orlando) était très sympathique. Je relouerai ici.

International Car ist sehr zu empfehlen, alles sehr unkompliziert und günstig. Wir hatten 3 Wochen ein Fiat 500 Cabriolet. Haben diesen in Porto gemietet und in Faro zurückgegeben. Absolut empfehlenswert inklusive Airport Shuttle.

Arnaque. Le personnel est très malhonnête et désagréable. Nous avons loué une voiture SIAT Ibiza sur un site comparateur de location de voiture car le prix était très attractif. Cependant, lorsque nous sommes arrivés sur place, la voiture était dans un très mauvais état (nombreuses traces de lavage, rayures, bosses, saleté ). Le monsieur n avait pas le temps de réaliser l état du véhicule, il nous a fourni un document incompréhensible sur lequel était noté les différents défauts. Lorsque nous lui avons demandé de rajouter des rayures non indiquées sur le papier il nous a arraché la feuille des mains et l a déchiré. Attention, lors de la prise du véhicule ils font passer des rayures pour des « traces de lavage » et ils vous les reproches lorsque vous rendez le véhicule. Les photos prises avant ne servent à rien car on ne voit aucun défaut en raison des traces de lavage. De plus, ce n est pas la même entreprise qui gère les papiers administratifs pour la location et qui réalise l état du véhicule
il faudrait pouvoir mettre une note négative tellement cette entreprise de location de voiture le mérite. Je rejoins chaque avis précédent en disant tout simplement que sils veulent trouver la petite rayure de 2mm que personne navait vu au départ, croyez-moi, ils la trouveront !!! A larrivée, cest 200 balles de moins dans le portefeuille, provisionnez le tout de suite en complément du montant de votre réservation et vous obtiendrez le coût réel dune location de voiture chez eux. Plus jamais ;)
ATENÇÃO-FRAUDE Senti-me completamente enganada quando me cobraram por um arranhão no puxador da porta do condutor. A carrinha de 9 lugares tinha imensos arranhões e amolgadelas, seria quase impossível marcar todos. Quando a senhora verifica a carrinha e diz que tenho de pagar 154euros pelo arranhão que podem ver (ou não) na imagem. Tenho a certeza que não o fiz, pois tive todo o cuidado de não estacionar perto de outros veículos. CONSELHO: façam um vídeo de todo o veículo para terem provas.

Mauvaise expérience client. Malhonnête. Tout est mis en uvre pour que le client attende et que le véhicule soit donné après lheure du bureau car facturation de frais de remise après 20h. Jai donc payé 40euros pour avoir attendu 1h30, double peine. (mon avion avait atterri vers 19h). Comme tenu de la malhonnêteté , je ne recommande pas car jimagine quen cas de litige, cela doit être pareil.
Je confirme les évaluations précédentes. Je viens de rendre ma voiture juste avant de prendre l avion. Une voiture de plusieurs années avec 75000 km et de très nombreuses rayures superficielles. Ils en ont trouvé une qui n était pas référencée. Je n avais bien sûr pas tout vérifié tant le papier de location est illisible. Bref je suis obligé de régler près de 350 pour pouvoir prendre mon avion dans les délais. Ce sont des escrocs et je ne recommande pas du tout cette agence. Ils m ont dit que je serais remboursé par mon assurance ou grâce a ma carte bancaire. Du coup, pourquoi se priver ? Dommage car ça donne une mauvaise image de ce pays qui mérite beaucoup mieux !
ACHTUNG - BERTUG Hier werden Schäden aufgeschrieben und in Rechnung gestellt die bereits vorher vorhanden waren. Die Autos werden als Neuwagen tituliert und jeder Waschanlagen Kratzer wird angekreidet! Bei mir haben sie 200 zusätzliche verlangt. Die Verrechnung über die Kaution war auch anfänglich nicht möglich, nach weiterer Diskussion ging es dann plötzlich doch. Alles sehr sehr unseriös und unprofessional!!! Habe soetwas weltweit noch nie erlebt! Bitte einfach Finger davon lassen !
A Fuir absolument. Arnaque assurée. Je viens de rendre ma voiture le 28.07.24 et j ai été contraint de payer 341 euros pour une trace qui était déjà présente. L operateur connaissait la trace et doit la facturer à tous les clients qui ont eu un prix de location extrêmement bas. Il me l a signalé immédiatement après avoir regardé les photos que je disposais au départ de la location et ayant vu que je n avais pas cette zone il s est précipité pour me la signaler. Menace de payer immédiatement pour ne pas rater le vol. Escrocs ne vous forcez par a répondre avec votre mail bidon d excuse et de fausse satisfaction client - changez de profession ou remboursez moi !
Unhelpful, unprofessional & inflexible. After their systems refused to accept any of my debit or credit cards for their security deposit, they told me I had to buy their upgrade they even had the nerve to suggest cancelling the booking. Avoid like the plague

Abzocke.. wenn ihr bei diesem drecksladen nen Auto ausleiht, macht von allen Macken Fotos. Auch vom Außenspiegel und Felgen.. Es werden nur teilhaft Macken eingetragen und die restlichen muss man bei der Angabe bezahlen!
Ich habe eine volle Versicherung gebucht und warte Monate später immer noch auf die Rückerstattung des Geldes einer Autoreparatur. Es ist nicht möglich jemanden zu erreichen auf Emails wird nicht geantwortet. Definitiv nicht zu empfehlen.
ATTENZIONE! COMPORTAMENTO FRAUDOLENTO, NON AFFITTATE MACCHINE DA QUESTA COMPAGNIA Ho affittato una macchina il 3 giugno pagando in contanti 250,24 (61,04 di noleggio, 17,20 per una sorta di telepass e 172 di top cover assicurativa per i danni esterni) e, com e giusto che sia, lasciando bloccare un ammontare dalla carta di credito in caso di incidenti. Ho restituito la macchina il giorno 11 giugno senza problemi, il giorno 18 giugno dalla carta di credito sono stati scalati 250,24 (il costo del noleggio). Dopo aver contattato la compagnia mi è stato risposto che non ci sono prove che io abbia pagato in anticipo e che i soldi scalati sono quelli dovuti per il noleggio. Ai limiti dell illegalità e della logica comprensione. Secondo loro mi hanno affittato la macchina senza chiedermi un euro per poi scalarmi soldi dopo una settimana dalla riconsegna del veicolo. Io vi denuncio, ladri.
Sehr schwer zu finden. Achtung bei Drive4more arbeiten nicht immer mit sauberen Methoden. Unbedingt vorher alles fotografieren, sonst werden Sie teuer zur Kasse gebeten für Schäden die schon vorher da waren. Am besten gar nicht erst hin.

Bad exprerience. we rented a car for two days and we didnt even touch we let it on the farm that we rented and they found an old scar on the car and told us that we caused it so we have to pay 108e we payed the money because we needed the deposit back. A scam company be careful
