Muchas cosas podria decir de este sitio, todas genial desde luego. Alquilamos aqui, tan solo fue un dia pero se portaron genial, muy atentos y amables, el coche en muy buen estado y las condiciones de alquiler muy buenas, rapidos y economico. Y al devolverlo nos agraciaron con el detalle de un postre, delicioso he de decir. We rented a small Hyundai i10 car, paid 300 for 5 days. Somebody must have accidentally scratched the paint, probably when opening their door and the rental company charged me 130 for reparis, non negotiable. Initially, they said the cars are insured and that in case of an incident all would be covered. They gave us a receipt for service repairs, so Im guessing they make more money from such incidents. Awful customer service. Would have been cheaper just to pay for taxis.

We rented a car and I specifically asked if the insurance will cover any damage not caused by us and they told us that yes, the car is full covered. I asked this because I knew about the narrow streets and parking places in Madeira. This morning when we took de car back they noticed a very small, superficial scratch on the passenger door that was made for sure by someone else with their door and they asked us 165 for it. Then they told us that the conditions of the insurance in english are somewhere online on their website(but at the moment when we rented they didnt tell us about it). So they lied in our faces just to make a sale because they knew about the hidden policies in the contract. Plus the lady told us that you could rent the car without insurance for 40 /per day and with insurance is 60 , but this morning another lady told us that is impossible to rent it without insurace. We trusted them and they lied to us. Avoid this place because Im sure there are other companies in town that wont lie and take advantage of you!

Fantastische Autovermietung auf Madeira - absolut empfehlenswert! Wir haben uns für die Autovermietung auf Madeira entschieden und waren rundum zufrieden. Der Kontakt war von Anfang an sehr nett und professionell. Besonders praktisch war, dass der Mietwagen, ein Fiat Panda, am Sonntag direkt von unserem Hotel abgeholt wurde und das ohne zusätzlichen Aufpreis! Der Fiat Panda war in einem sehr guten Zustand und hat uns sicher über die teils anspruchsvollen Straßen Madeiras gebracht. Der Preis war absolut fair und das gesamte Angebot hat einen sehr vertrauenswürdigen Eindruck gemacht. Auch der Service war top sehr zuverlässig, freundlich und flexibel. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wieder hier buchen und können die Autovermietung jedem, der auf Madeira ein Auto braucht, uneingeschränkt empfehlen!

Esperienza positiva. È una delle poche agenzie che non richiede un deposito cauzionale. Quando ti consegnano l auto si fa un check su tutti i danni eventualmente già presenti sull auto e alla riconsegna controllano che non ci siano danni aggiuntivi. Durante il check preliminare non avevamo notato una piccola ammaccatura presente su una portiera e il giorno stesso gli ho inviato un video su whatsapp per farlo notare e non mi hanno fatto problemi. Ho noleggiato l auto per 7 giorni e ho percorso l isola di Madeira da cima a fondo. Ho noleggiato un auto di piccola cilindrata, una mitsubishi space star. Un auto di questo tipo, secondo il mio parere va bene per 2 persone. Per più persone consiglio un auto di cilindrata superiore in quanto l isola è piena di salite sopratutto se si vogliono raggiungere le vette più altre.

I booked 2 different cars during my time in Madeira, the grey Mitsubishi (who we named Gerty) and the red Hyundai (who we named Coccinella which is ladybug in Italian! Both cars were fantastic and the service and communication from AKI Rent a Car was excellent. The people who work in this small company are really lovely and helpful and they have great prices that are well worth the money. Super organised and trustworthy. They were very helpful when allowing me to book extra days on both vehicles, giving me extra freedom. Renting a car is by far the best way to travel Madeira and this company made my vacation so so good! 10/10

Highly recommended. We took the Hyundai i10 (Red with black roof). The car was in very good condition. The staff was friendly and helpful. No deposit was needed! The price was like in other rental companies. I really recommend it.

This must be the best place to rent a car in Funchal. Got very recent Clio RS Line with an engine that let us move around Madeira with comfort (its REALLY steep everywhere so the regular rental <1L engine will not be comfortable to drive around). All that at a very good rate compared to other local shops, let alone big rental chains. The service is outstanding - responsiveness via email and whatsapp, and last but not least - a smile!

Very easy 5 stars, which I think is particularly difficult for a car rental company. I rented a scooter for two days then switched to a small car (fiat panda) for 2 more days when a third friend arrived. The switch was seamless and we coordinated via WhatsApp the whole time. They are very friendly and responsive. The scooter and car were in excellent condition and perfect for the island. We dropped the car at the airport as we left which just made life ultra easy and saved us a taxi fare. The costs for the vehicles, last minute was extremely reasonable and much lower than the other quotes we received. All round a top class small business making life easy on holiday - what s not to love .

I usually hire vehicle abroad from the big five or six well known companies more for peace of mind than anything else and always had good service. When booking our recent holiday in Madeira, the prices for car hire with these companies were very high IMO and so I shopped around the multitude of local car hire companies and came across AKI. I have to admit I was a bit hesitant mainly because their prices was considerably lower than the big companies and because Madeira is known for being hilly and so I wanted to make sure I got a decent vehicle. I have to say, the whole experience with AKI was a pleasure before arrival, on arrival, during our stay and for the vehicle return on our last day. Before we even arrived they were kind enough to give us some restaurant recommendations and we tried a couple, both very good. The handover at the airport was seamless and no large deposits or reservations against your credit card taken. During the holiday there was a minor electrical / system fault on the vehicle which did not delay us but AKI (Celso & Daniela) responded quickly. On our final day, I suggested that rather than us driving to the airport for the handover and to save time to both parties waiting for each other, that we meet in town and Celso drove us to the airport. I would have no hesitation in recommending this company and their staff and I have hired vehicles all over the world.

No he alquilado con ellos ningún vehículo pero sospecho que las reseñas no son auténticas. Muchas personas hablan del buen precio que les ofreció, no fue mi caso. 40 euros por una moto al día y 97 por un coche pequeño. Finalmente en otro lugar 25 euros por la moto...

Processo de aluguer muito fácil, rápido e prático. Carro novo com 4000km. Tudo correu bem, desde a entrega à devolução! Recomendo

Dupa ce am sunat la cateva companii care presteaza servicii de inchiriere masini in Madeira la preturi foarte mari, aflandu-ne pe strazile din Funchal, am gasit biroul celor de la Aki Rent. Am fost intampinati din primul moment cu ospitalitate si transparenta, pretul final pentru inchirierea unei masini clasa A pentru 5 zile fiind foarte avantajos. De asemenea, la finalul perioadei de inchiriere, cei de la Aki Rent au fost disponibili pentru a ridica masina de la locatia unde am fost cazati, in afara Funchalului. Recomand cu toata increderea sa apelati la serviciile lor pentru ca sunt cu adevarat niste profesionisti in domeniu.

Problemlose Buchung. Hatte einen Wagen für 5 Tage gebucht. Aufgrund eines Sturzes und damit verbunden eines Handgelenkbruches konnte der Wagen nicht mehr übernommen werden. Seitens der Agentur wurde der Vertrag sofort zurückgenommen und das bereits bezahlte Geld zurückerstattet. Perfekter Service!!

Nous avons été extrêmement bien accueillis dans cette agence de location de voitures nouvelle ( je crois!) . La voiture proposée dans la premiere categorie une Hyondai I 10 est parfaitement adaptée à Madère -ville et balade dans l île - Cest suffisamment rare pour être souligné . Nous sommes vraiment contents de cette agence que nous ne connaissions pas malgré un grand nombre de vacances passées à Madere et de voitures louées.

No need for a credit card blocation, great communication, very kind staff, everything was fast, we got a nice and reliable car. They dropped us off at the airport the last day with no additional cost. Can 100 % recommend :)

Car was old and some of the parts started breaking like gas cap or brake pads. When our car got broken we had to come back to their office and even go with them to the mechanic. They didnt give us replacement car and we simply lost our holidays time by waiting for our car. At the end of rent they pressured us to clean the car even thougt nothing was mentioned before about cleaning it.

I want to warn you to avoid this company!!! We got a broken car for this we cant continue our holiday, we was forced to stop our journey for half a day and the owner didnt compensate us for the lost time, he was hysterical and threatened to call the police if we demanded compensation. Very bad service, the contract is only in Portuguese, so owner can cheat customers. Be carefull and dont risk getting a broken car for your holiday.

We rented a car for 5 days, but we had to be disappointed because the car was defective, so we had to stop the trip. The company assumes no responsibility. Dont risk your money and good mood!

We rented the Hyundai i10 N line in advanced: we were told the car would have full insurance and its power would be enough in Madeira. Cost = 60 euro / day. Days after, when we took the car and another person from the company told us that that the insurance only covers costs higher than 250 euro, so, in case any minor damage below 250 euro we would have to pay up to 250 euro. And also, only one person could drive, if we both wanted to drive, we had to pay 10 euro more per day. We had to accept because it would have been impossible to find any other car in August. Once we drove the car , its 100 cv and gasoline engine were not enough in the steep roads of Madeira. So, I recommend to rent a car in the airport or in a website weeks before coming

Probably one of the the nicest & most modern scooters Ive rented, dealt easily with Funchals steep streets and took two of us all over the island, mainly on the old roads as they are quieter & much more scenic / fun. The staff at AKI Rent were great, I would rent a scooter from them again

We were very satisfied with the service. The employee has explained us everything well and was very friendly. We were also very satisfied with the car itself. What bothered us a bit afterwards was the fact, that we were told to fill up with Super 98 although Super 95 (which was also written on the gas cap). You have to know that Super 98 is a lot more expensive. So you can save your money and can fill up with the cheaper gasoline. Unfortunately, we only noticed this later. Otherwise, we would definitely recommend AKI Rent and would use the service again.

Everything worked fine. We had the possibility to return the car in the middle if the night at the airport, which was very convenient, since we had an early flight. The car we got was well equipped and seemed pretty new. The car rental was always responsive and available if needed.

Really liked the service! Stuff is really friendly and helpful, car was perfect, worked well, was clean and comfortable. Also it was a bit sporty which is very important in such a mountain landscape. And the most important is that all details of a deal were clear at the beginning and met eventually. Unfortunately, it is not a rare case that in car renting services business tries to scam people and charge additional money. Nothing like it was met here, which is the most valuable for me.
