Auto Rent a Car em Funchal

Wir hatten für drei Tage ein Auto von Deutschland aus gemietet. Der Service war sehr gut. Am Sonntag das Auto abgeholt, Übergabe sehr ausführlich mit vielen nützlichen Tipps. Auto ( Seat Ibiza ) war tiptop. Auch die Rückgabe völlig problemlos. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Nagyon kedves, segít kész és kommunikatív személyzet. Kaptunk hasznos uticél és éttermi ajánlásokat. A kijelz t magyarra állították nekünk. Mindent köszönünk! :)

Très bonne prestation. Lentreprise ma appelé la veille pour confirmer la location. Pou retirer la voiture, un employé a pris le temps de mexpliquer les boutons principaux naturellement (ce qui nest jamais fait ailleurs). Voiture avec réservoir plein au début et à la fin, ce qui est simple.

Perfect Service - we were not able to reach Funchal last week (weather to bad for AIDA cosma to reach the harbour). But it was no problem to get our reservation canceled. Other people I talk to on the ship booked via AVIS and had to pay the booking of their car. Therefore thank you for service making the cancelation a charm

Wir sind im Rahmen einer Kreuzfahrt auf Madeira gewesen und hatten online vorab ein Auto über Auto Rent a Car gebucht. Es hat alles reibungslos geklappt. Das Auto war gepflegt und die Dame, die uns dieses übergeben hat sehr nett. Die Verständigung war aus einem Gemisch aus englisch und sogar deutsch sehr gut. Netterweise wurde uns sogar noch ein Kindersitz gegen eine Sitzerhöhung ausgetauscht, da er für unseren Sohn zu klein war. Einen tollen Routenvorschlag gab es auch noch dazu. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Delighted with the all round service! Like many have said on these reviews, I was very skeptical about how a hire car company can have universal praise & 5 star reviews given my prior experience with the other very corporate multinational brands. This is very much a well run family firm that cares about customers. We were picked up and dropped at the airport which saved a lot of hassle our side navigating through Funchal, filling with petrol etc. Communication was very quick directly via whatsapp. No funny business whatsoever about inspecting the car pre/post rental. We were grateful for the many local suggestions, enthusiasm for all things Cristiano Ronaldo and will definitely hope to call on Ana and team again when we return! Edit - hired a car for second year running from Ana, Rafael and Team and all great experience again. Thanks so much.

We received the car in a nice condition. The gentleman brought him to our hotel. Communication is fine. Probably also the price - I cant judge that. Fortunately, we didnt have any accidents. Wij hebben bij dit verhuurbedrijf een auto gehuurd voor onze trip op Madeira, mede door de vele positieve reviews. Helaas was onze ervaring niet positief. We hadden bewust gekozen voor een automaat met een krachtige motor, gezien het heuvelachtige terrein. Bij aankomst bleek de auto echter slecht onderhouden te zijn, met veel zichtbare krassen en beschadigingen. Daarnaast maakten de remmen een piepend geluid, wat ons geen veilig gevoel gaf tijdens het rijden. Bij het inleveren van de auto kwam een medewerkster naar buiten en wees op een kleine kras van slechts enkele millimeters tussen de vele andere krassen op de auto. Ze beweerde dat wij deze kras hadden veroorzaakt en wilde 150 inhouden van onze borg. Wij gaven aan dat dit echt niet eerlijk was. Toen heeft ze 100 euro ingehouden. Hoewel ik bij de start een video had gemaakt van de grotere schade, was dit kleine plekje niet goed zichtbaar. Dit voelde voor ons oneerlijk en alsof we werden afgezet. Bijgevoegd ook een ingezoomde foto van het stipje waar de medewerkster naar wees. Jammer om de mooie vakantie zo af te sluiten Na mijn review werd ik gebeld door de verhuurder en bedreigd dat ik verantwoordelijk zou worden gehouden voor andere problemen met de auto. Zeer onprofessioneel.

Genial! Jai été accueilli direct à laéroport malgré le retard de mon vol. La voiture était parfaite, propre, confortable. Laccueil était tout aussi parfait. Nous avons eu une carte de Madère et tout pleins dexplications en prime sur les bons coins à visiter et les bonnes adresses où bien manger. Tout cela a été un atout majeur à notre super voyage. Haben das Auto heute morgen direkt vor der Aida in Empfang nehmen können, sogar 1 Stunde früher wie eigentlich gebucht. Das Auto war top, der Kindersitz für meine Tochter wie besprochen drin. Die Abgabe war auch flexibel, wir waren sehr zufrieden.

Ein Auto mit Automatik (in Madeira wegen der steilen Straßen sehr sinnvoll), in einwandfreiem Zustand wurde uns an den Hafen gebracht, direkt ans Schiff und auch zur vereinbarten Zeit dort wieder abgeholt. Rafael toonde veel interesse en is erg behulpzaam. Je kan merken dat hij erg aanwezig is en geeft allemaal goeie tips. Aanrader!

Une agence à fuir, on nous a fait payer 600 de pare-brise l année passée car, soit-disant il n y a pas d assurances pour les bris-de-vitre. Effectivement c est noté sur le contrat mais cela n empêche que les assurances qui couvrent ce point existent ! Comme cela s est déroulé dans un tunnel, il aurait fallu prendre en photo le camion (impossible). On nous a refilé une première voiture automatique dont les freins étaient déjà loin (voiture qui tremblait dès que l on freinait et odeurs de brûlé dès que l on appuyait un peu plus sur le frein et pourtant nous n avions emprunté que des ER). Durant nos vacances de cette année, autre agence et nous avions full assurances pour moins cher à la location et bizarrement aucun soucis. Leurs pratiques sont très douteuses et les avis négatifs retirés. Ne vous fiez pas à leurs paroles car je peux vous assurer que si la voiture tremble dès que l on freine c est que les disques de frein sont cuits. Et ce, dès le premier jour donc ne nous accusez pas de freiner excessivement ! Je ne comprends pas que l on puisse laisser les gens prendre la voiture dans ces conditions, c est dangereux. Il suffit de rencontrer un pépin pour comprendre leur fonctionnement ! Nous avons lu d autres avis qui depuis, ont disparu vous concernant, qui font écho à notre vécu d où notre évaluation. Les assurances accepteront toujours de couvrir si on leur en fait la demande.

Très bonne expérience de location de voiture. Petite agence familiale comme on aime, il nous a été facile de communiquer en français et en anglais. La voiture était adaptée à la configuration de lîle et de plus nous avons eut les conseils sur les spots de lîle. Le must: on vient vous chercher et on vous ramène à votre résidence!!!!! Nous avions fait le choix de louer à Funchal plutôt qu à l aéroport au vu des mauvais avis et des cautions exorbitantes demandés par les loueurs situés à l aéroport. Nous avons loué pour 5 jours une Skoda fabia qui n avait que 13 000 km en excellent état. Nous recommandons de prendre une voiture automatique vu les reliefs de Madère et cette voiture était parfaite même en pleine montée. Au niveau de l agence, accueil professionnel par une dame parlant français. Elle a pris le temps de nous indiquer des lieux à visiter, des routes à éviter etc. Pas de mauvaise surprise au moment de rendre la voiture. La caution carburant de 80 en espèces nous a été rendue. Nous recommandons cette agence pour leur transparence.

Wir haben uns vorab bei Auto Rent a Car ein Auto herausgesucht (Skoda Fabia, Automatik) und unser Wunsch wurde auch umgesetzt. Das Auto wird einem direkt an den Hafen gebracht. Wir wurden freundlich von Anna empfangen, die uns das Auto mit vielen guten Tips übergab und alles auf deutsch erklärte. Auch die Rückgabe war völlig entspannt und problemlos. Für uns ist klar, dass wir bei einem erneuten Besuch auf Madeira wieder unser Auto hier mieten werden.

Super ervaring bij deze lieve mensen. We hebben heel last minute een auto gehuurd per mail contact. Later duidelijk via whatsapp instructies ontvangen. Bij het ophalen van de auto goede uitleg gekregen over de auto zelf en het rijden op het eiland. Goede tips gekregen. Auto reed super en was perfect voor de (steile) wegen op Madeira. Bij het terug brengen van de auto werden we nog tegen een goedkope prijs naar het vliegveld gebracht. Je hebt hier geen credit card nodig en kan de borg contant betalen. Zeker een aanrader!

It was my first time renting a car on my own so it was important that the company I was renting from was a reputable one. Ana was so responsive and helpful from the very start despite my last minute request. Even though she did not have a car for me, she liaised with a partner company on my behalf and everything was so seamless! The partner company delivered the car to the airport and the agreed time, and the handover was fuss-free. Even though I wasn t renting the car from her, Ana was available on WhatsApp whenever I needed help during my trip and even had great recommendations for pastel de nata! The car I got was great and I had no issues at all. Definitely recommend this company and I will be using them if I ever return to Madeira. Hope to see you next time Ana!

We had looked for a car rental company that would bring a car directly to the port, as we were arriving for a one day stop through Royal Caribbean. When we got there, Anna was there waiting for us directly at the port and walked us to our car, which was less than 60 seconds from the gate. She and her peers showed us how to run all of the features of the car and even helped link our phones to the GPS system! We arranged a time to bring the car back and they were there waiting for us, as we returned the car to the same place where we picked it up. Anna and her colleague were so kind and welcoming, and the service was bar on the best car rental experience we have ever had, I would highly, highly recommend this rental company without hesitation! Seeing Madeira by car was fantastic as we were able to go up to the north coast and see the lava pools and other places of interest.

Perfektni sluzba. Auto zdarma privezeno i vyzvednuto pred hotelem. Odpovidajici vysvetleni pri predani, vcetne vyskrtani nebezpecnych silnic na mape. Pujcila jsem Seat Ibizu s prekvapive silnym motorem, ktery byl do hor idealni, auto nove, se senzory, navigace pres Android auto na primerene velke palubni obrazovce. Byla jsem velice sppkojena a doporucuji.

Auto Rent a Car define excellent customer service. I thought it was ridiculous for a company to have so many 5* reviews but they are really excellent. Friendly, efficient, responsive and a pleasure to deal with. They were very accommodating to our needs and I cannot recommend them highly enough. Comms was done via email / WhatsApp - both extremely quick. In person they were even nicer. The car we hired (Skoda Fabia) was perfect for the hills (and parking spaces) of Madeira. It was a well equipped car and all that we needed to get around the island and smaller towns.

Wir haben vor der Abfahrt wertvolle Infos für Sehenswürdigkeiten auf der Insel Madeira erhalten und haben uns darüber sehr gefreut, denn es waren wunderbare Sehenswürdigkeiten und Aussichtspunkte. We rented a Seat Ibiza for 3 days to explore the island. The car was excellent , the owners are very friendly and helpful and gave us excellent advice about where to visit and which roads to avoid. I would definitely recommend this company , they are the best!

Wir waren am 11.11. auf Madeira im Rahmen unserer AIDA - Kreuzfahrt und haben uns bei Auto Rent a Car ein Auto gebucht. Das Auto wurde uns direkt vor´s Schiff gebracht und dort auch wieder abgeholt. Auto war in einem tip top Zustand und wir haben sehr sehr wertvolle Tipps bzgl. der zu nehmenden Straßen erhalten. Wenn wir so gefahren wäre wie es Google Maps vorgeschlagen hätte, wären wir warscheinlich in Schwierigkeiten gekommen. Dank den Tipps , haben wir die vernünftigen Straßen genutzt und konnten überall ganz normal und gefahrlos fahren. Übrigens wird sehr viel über die schrecklichen Straßenverhältnisse und schroffe Fahrweise der Einheimischen geschrieben. Stimmt nicht ! Wir waren wirklich fast einmal komplett um die Insel und haben nicht einmal eine gefährliche Situation gehabt. Wir werden sicherlich wieder auf Madeira sein und dann wissen wir ganz klar wo wir uns einen Mietwagen nehmen. DANKE ANA Liebe Grüße Lisa und Stefan
