Best car rental in Madeira, full peace on the day of rental and collection of the car, handling formalities professionally and nicely. We will definitely come back when we are in Madeira :) We recommend 100% !!!
I had a fantastic experience renting a car from this lovely young couple during my stay in Funchal. They speak great English, and the entire process was smooth and personal. I really appreciated being able to reach them easily via WhatsApp, which made communication simple. Pickup and drop-off in Funchal was hassle-free, and I also used the 24-hour parking garage in Funchal for just 4.5€ per day, which was much more convenient than hunting for free street parking. Highly recommend their service.
Fantastic experience! We arrived in Madeira at the last minute... I sent a request for a car?! The next morning a new car was waiting for us straight from the car wash. The amazing people who delivered it were very helpful. They also provided us with accommodation. Which I appreciate, very much. I will definitely be back to them soon.🧡😎✈️

Hassle free car pick up at the airport. I got a new car with low mileage, which did its job very well on Madeira routes. Very good contact with the rental company.
I highly recommend their services. The staff is friendly and kind. They did not make any problems though i asked about giving them car 1hr later and still i was late at the meeting. The 🚗 was a brand new Hyundai (a bit above the class we ordered 🙌🏽). I will come back to them for sure
The car we rented was new and very well-kept, perfect for driving around the winding and tight streets of Madeira. Wypo yczyli my Hyundai i20. Auto podstawione pod hotel o umówionej porze, czyste, pachn ce jeszcze nowo ci (7k km przebiegu). Przy zwrocie równie terminowo i bezproblemowo.

Great professional service with excellent responses to any queries. Brand new 2024 car which was dropped next to our hotel; we had a great day exploring the west of the island and would hire again anytime.
So we struggled to find a car rental online with a decent price, timing etc... But our Airbnb host recommended we contact City Car Rent, which we are glad we did. They were very helpful right from the beginning and gave us a car that was new and that easily managed the steep hill roads. They helped us with all our questions and even picked up the car with short notice. All in all, great service, price, and cars.
