A well-executed car rental procedure, friendly service and a small upgrade in the form of a better car than the one previously booked. To rent, you need a credit card as security, but you can pay for the rental itself, e.g. with Revolut. Return the car at the agreed place - punctual and very nice employees. Everything is ok - I highly recommend it.

Achtung Abzocke!!! Ich würde die Vermietung keinem empfehlen! Sie waren freundlich und hatten ziemlich die günstigsten Preise, aber das ist auch schon alles das Auto wird nur gegen Gebühr an das Hotel gefahren. Hatte ich bisher noch nicht und das Hotel ist nicht weit entfernt. Die Über- und Abgabe hat fast eine Stunde gedauert. Das Highlight war aber, dass wir das Auto mit Versicherung gebucht haben und uns diese im Endeffekt nichts gebracht hat. Untern vorne sind Kratzer entstanden die allerdings auf der anderen Seite auch schon waren. Wir mussten hierfür fast 200 bezahlen. Viel mehr als wir für 3 Tage für das Auto bezahlt haben! Habe ich bisher noch nie erlebt, sehr schade.. Nie wieder, dann biete keine überteuerte Versicherung an!

Very trustworthy service, contract terms in the full insurance are made to make you pay... either is your fault or not, full insurance is nonexistent. They will also charge for any minor chip that was or not prior on the car. Stay away from this guys.

A bunch of scammers who will charge your credit card even if you have full insurance and absolved of any fault.

They will charge your credit card in an unequivocal manner, using a fabricated reason, just to make extra money. They are unreliable and dishonorable.

We chose this car rental office by the google feedback, and we can only give them the best feedback as well. We chose Seat Ibiza with manual transmission. It was a nice, almost new car that could easily cope the up and down roads of Madeira with 2 people on-board. No deposit needed, payment in cash or with card. All the rules of rental agreement were clearly explained. A very good experience!

Encontrei nas buscas no Google, fazendo contacto via WhatsApp e sempre foram prestativos. Com prévio aviso, pode-se solicitar vosso carro no aeroporto, mas acabamos por retirar na loja no Funchal. Solicitamos cadeira para nosso bebé, e foi tudo impecável, carro novo, sem necessidade de pré pagamento e ainda sem precisar bloqueio no cartão de crédito. Recomendo muito.

We rented a Fiat Panda for two days in this rental agency. The registration was quick and competent, the manager had all the necessary applications and schemes, suitable for different types of situations and clients, without paperwork. The car was returned on time, without damage, as indicated in the contract, so the reception and the return process of the car was quick and smooth! Recommended! The only thing, who has never driven a Fiat, it is better to take another brand of car, because when changing speeds it jerks, and it is not a very pleasant moment, especially when driving uphills, and there are a lot of hills on Madeira. But this the rental agency itself and the communication with the manager was great and quick.

Very pleasant rental, we took the car (Seat Arona) for 3 days and then extended it for another 3. The employee explained all the points of the contract in English, everything is very easy and fast. Highly recommend!

Terrible Experience I rented a car and ended up with a flat tire due to terrible road conditions near the city center. I was shocked when I returned the vehicle and found I was charged for two tires! I only had one flat, and I had full insurance. It feels like a complete scam. The insurance should have covered this situation, especially since the damage was not my fault but due to poor road maintenance. They charged me an extra 180 for 2 tires for a fiat Panda, so I paid close to 480 for a 6 days rental, and I had full insurance. Total scam, and most probably the car rental company got an extra 180 from the insurance company as well because it was a situation that has been covered by the insurance anyway, so me and the insurance company got charged. Also they kept me and my girlfriend waiting for almost 2 hours to get assistance (in Funchal, close to city center) and to wait for the road management team to asses the damage and for them (car rental representative) to document the situation for insurance purposes, they took pictures and completed a form with the road management team. So they took extra money and extra time from us! Total scam, there are a lot of other car rental companies in the area, I would go to anyother one.

**Unfair Charges** l had a flat tire on a city road and was wrongfully charged for two tires upon returning the car. Despite having full insurance, which was supposed to cover such incidents, they refused to honor it. Charging me for something I didnt cause is not just unfair-its outright theft!

Easy pick up and drop off. Car was clean and drove well (Hyundai Arona). I was late picking up my car, but they were able to accommodate. Andre was thorough with explanations. Honest business. Would rent from again.

Super happy with CR Rent! We rented a Skoda for 5 days and the experience could not have been better. I had a paperwork problem regarding my license and CR Rent did everything to make it happen when other places would not care at all. The car was clean and in perfect shape. The process of renting was explained in detail and very understandable. We also got some advice on how to drive the car safely around the island.(believe me you want this advise) Price was very fair and the employees are friendly. I would always rent here again and will advise all my friends and family to do the same! Thank you so much!

If not one but extremely important behavior, I would give 5*. Hired car had highest available insurance purchased. When returning it, it occurred that there was small scratch on front bumper (not caused by me), so small that I didn t even notice it before car return. CR Rent refused to call it to the insurer (not even trying to call it) saying that there is no proof who caused that (me or someone else) and that in such cases insurer may refuse paying the compensation because of neglected driving . They showed me ~250 price calculation for similar case (painting the front bumper) and demanded that I pay it right away. So at the end Seat Ibiza which should cost ~450 per week (including the highest insurance), costed me ~700 . I feel being cheated by CR Rent.

We had to Arange a car at last notice. CR Rent was the only company that could. Arrange a (afordable) car at such short notice. Personel was verry friendly and supportive and brought the car to our hotel for pick up. Brand New car with only 900k. Just Phone CR Rent and the will fix it.

Ich hab in unserem Urlaub auf Madeira für vier Tage ein Auto gemietet und bin mehr als zufrieden. Die Buchung sowie Übergabe erfolgte direkt an einem Tag. Alles verlief unkompliziert und das Fahrzeug (Seat Ibiza) befand sich in einwandfreiem Zustand. Bei der Rückgabe gab es ebenfalls keinerlei Probleme. Besonders positiv hervorzuheben ist das freundliche und kompetente Personal. Auch preislich war die Vermietung sehr fair. Ich würde hier definitiv wieder ein Auto mieten!

Recomendable, servicio correcto, explicaciones extensas, atención amable. Coche prácticamente nuevo y muy limpio, lo hemos cuidado como si fuera nuestro. Cogimos un Ibiza 110CV no aconsejo menos si van 5 personas como nosotros, dadas las cuestas en Madeira. El coche respondió muy bien.

Il s agissait d une Dacia Sandero 3 qui était parfaite pour les trajets. j ai pu récupérer la voiture en avance sans frais supplémentaires ni changements d horaires pour le retour. Ils sont réactifs par téléphone et arrangeants. J ai eu besoin de changer le contrat sur place et ils m ont expliqué chaque parties du contrat avant de payer. Ils acceptent la carte bancaire ou le cash. Point positif : pas de caution à déposer Je conseil une Classe C pour pouvoir profiter d une conduite fluide même en montée. La voiture était en bon état, propre et fonctionnelle. Aucun soucis durant tout le séjour. Pour le retour il s est fait très rapidement et rien n a été rajouté sur la facture. Je suis vraiment satisfaite du service proposé car j ai pu profiter correctement de mes vacances jusqu au bout.

Ive rented a Kia Picanto, technically new with only 6k km passed, but such a small car was good enough for us and our needs. It was hard sometimes to go uphill, but because the roads are asphalt everywhere, there were no issues with driving, even downhill or uphill. Honest service for honest money, easy and fast way to reserve and pick up a vehicle. It was my first time on Madeira and its absolutely stunning, CR Rent has helped us to develope this beautiful island and left us with great memories. Gentlemen from the office in Funchal are very professional and helpful.

Geweldige service van CR Rent! Door de vele autoverhuurders van Funchal zagen we door de bomen het bos niet meer, maar CR Rent gaf ons gelijk een vertrouwd gevoel. Eenvoudig hebben we de gewenste auto via de site kunnen reserveren. We kregen een fijne Seat Arona met slechts 5.000km op de teller. Ze nemen de tijd om alles goed uit te leggen en bestaande schade samen te bespreken. Contracten teken je ter plekke en worden handig naar je eigen mail verstuurd, zodat er geen misverstanden kunnen ontstaan. We keren zeker nog eens terug naar dit prachtige eiland en zullen dan ook zeker weer voor onze huurauto naar CR Rent gaan!

Únicamente hay que tener en cuenta que 120 cv. son algo escasos para llevar 4 adultos, por las innumerables cuestas empinadas de esta isla. So wie es sein soll, unkompliziert und alles digital , kein Papierkram. Da das gewünschte Fahrzeug nicht verfügbar war wurde uns die nächsthöhere Klasse angeboten zum selben Preis. Fahrzeug war ein Seat Ateca mit 110 PS, weniger sollte man auf Madeira nicht haben, da es teilweise ganz schön steil nach oben geht. Und eine gewisse Bodenfreiheit ist auch zu empfehlen. Auto war neuwertig und die Autovermietung ist auch zu empfehlen.

Smooth experience renting, getting and returning the car. Car was very new, less than 2k kms. Service was good in explaining the contract and the car. As a tip for potential renters, consider is to rent a car with a bigger engine (ours was from the smallest group and struggled a bit on the -very- steep hills :D ) but thats completely my mistake for not studying the height differences of Madeira.

Car we took was Renault Clio, with turbo engine and it was more than enough for big Madeira hills. Car was clean and almost brand new. Staff is very friendly and informatitive. Price was also good. Easy check-in, easy check-out.

El único punto intermedio fue un malentendido en el que no había quedado claro que al entregar el coche el tanque de la gasolina tiene que estar lleno lo que aumenta el precio de la experiencia considerablemente. Awesome experience with cr rent. We have walked around and among the sea of other rental chains, this one seemed like a nice place with individual approach. Weve walked in, and after 15 minutes we have been driving a brand new Seat with only 1500km on it. Reasonable pricing and good personal experience. We had some issues with the credit card, but Mr. Serrão helped solving the issue. Definitely would be returning to these guys when Im back.

Étant jeune conducteur, nous avons eu un supplément à payer mais rien d exorbitant comparée à d autre (55 en plus pour 6 jours). Voiture de qualité, il ne nous ait arriver aucuns pépins donc niveau assurance on peut pas vraiment témoigner mais sinon apparemment aucuns frais cachés. Rendu en 5 minutes aussi pour le retour. Si vous hésitez sur cette agence, foncez.

We rented a Fiat Panda Hybrid from this car rental company for 4 days, which we used to travel all over Madeira. The negotiations on the part of the rental company were serious and reliable, the car was loaned to us in perfect condition and was reliable the whole time. The rental companys handling of the return was quick and trouble-free.

Would highly recommend this company. They were really helpful in finding the best solution for us. They spoke excellent English which is great for me as my language skills are non existent. I used their office at the Forum which is well located for many hotels. This year instead of just hiring a car from the airports we made use of the free transfer and then hired a car more locally to our accommodation which worked well as we had a few days exploring things around the hotel before venturing further afield. Their location is perfect for this.

The experience was perfect. I rented Skoda Ibiza manual online and thats exactly what I got. It was NEW Ibiza with 110hp engine and 2000 mileage. It looked like it just left the dealer. The power was more than enough for the steepy roads of Madeira. I even kinda miss this car already for the experience it gave me. They dont fill in paper forms, everything is done online. You sign the contract on the phone of the agent and its sent to your email. Because of that, you dont spend a lot of time on paper work. Its done very fast. Although, dont forget your credit card because it was required from me. I left the car in the same state it was given to me. They didnt ask any extra charges. I would definitely recommend CR Rent. Helpful stuff and amazing NEW cars that will give you unique experience of driving on Madeira.

Wir hatten einen Kia Picanto gemietet. Selbst mit diesem Auto kommt man hier die Straßen hoch. Bei der Abgabe wurde ein minimaler Schaden am Reifen gesehen, den wir bei der Übernahme nicht dokumentiert hatten. Hier gab es aber dennoch keinerlei Probleme bei der Übergabe. Dennoch sollte man bei der Übernahme genau schauen und Fotos machen. Das macht es allen viel leichter. Ich kann diese Firma auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen. Die Mitarbeiter sind wirklich nett.

Os preços foram os mais em conta que encontrei para o tipo de viatura que pretendia. O carro era um automático praticamente novo, com poucos kms e uma motorização surpreendente pela positiva. Bom serviço por parte da equipa, simpáticos, pontualidade na entrega e na devolução no aeroporto. Todo o processo foi ágil. Recomendo e voltarei a alugar na CR Rent.

Wir hatten letzte Woche bei CR Rent - Car Rental in Funchal ein Seat Ibiza mit Automatik für 4 Tage ausgeliehen. Ein tolles, fast neues Auto mit nur ca. 4000 km auf dem Tacho. Das Auto fuhr super auf den steilen Straßen und wurde sehr sauber übergeben. Das Personal von CR Rent war sehr nett und freundlich, hat sich viel Zeit genommen um das Auto zu erklären und die Schäden vom Vorgänger zu zeigen, die auch im Vertrag dokumentiert wurden, Annahme und Abgabe verlief sehr einfach und unproblematisch. Hier werden wir sicher nochmal buchen.

Polecam dobra ubezoieczenie SCDW oraz na opony i szyby. I na koniec najwa niejsze. Regulamin wynajmu auta, który wydrukowa Pan i dostali my przed wypo yczeniem, aby na spokojnie si z nim zapozna by bardzo przejrzysty, bez dziwnych zapisów jak u innej bardzo du ej wypo yczalni z czerwon cyfr . Co do samochodu, to na 2 osoby ma a benzyna turbo wystarcza spokojnie, eby zwiedzi Mader , na 4 osoby zdecydowanie albo wi ksz benzyna turbo lub diesel.
