Five Rent a Car em Funchal

Letztes Jahr hätte ich 5 Sterne vergeben aber dieses Jahr nicht einmal einen. Das Auto war einfach überall demoliert. Und wir haben gesagt, dass wir die Kaution zahlen weil wir das letztes Jahr genauso gemacht haben. Am Tag der Abgabe die böse Überraschung. Angeblich wollten wir ein Vollversicherung, obwohl wir mehrmals gesagt haben Deposit ! Und dann wurde uns noch unterstellt, dass wir das falsch verstanden haben. Somit war dann unser Geld (Kaution) weg und wir mussten viel zu viel für so ein Auto zahlen.

A nossa experiência não foi positiva!! Fizemos a reserva on-line e a retirada do carro estava marcada para as 09:00 da manhã. Ao chegarmos lá ( no horário combinado) a atendente nos recebeu de forma arrogante e confirmou que não era possível termos uma reserva. Péssima recepção e atendimento, e não nos trouxe segurança da reserva. Mostrei o e-mail de confirmação e então ela foi olhar no sistema. A esse ponto eu já não tinha mais confiança nesse serviço e estava longe de ter boas expectativas. Depois de um tempo ela confirmou que existia uma reserva e que a colega estava a preparar o carro. Nos pediu que fôssemos tomar um café e então nós ligaria quando estive pronto. A esse momento a atendente já tinha um sorriso no rosto e nos tratava de forma amigável, completamente oposto a forma inicial e para mim muito contraditório. Sentamos à frente do estabelecimento e após 30 minutos não recebemos ligação ou informações e nos dirigimos novamente ao estabelecimento, onde a atendente nos disse que estava à nossa procura e o carro estava pronto. Recebemos instruções do local de retirada, que não é longe e fomos até lá. A atendente que lá estava nos aguardava, existia realmente uma reserva e por fim um carro . Fizemos o pagamento, e finalizamos tudo isso.

Problemas com a cadeira auto de criança. Pedimos na reserva cadeirinha de criança, confirmaram a reserva mas no momento de entrega do carro não tinham cadeira disponível. A justificação foi que entregaram a que estava destinada à nossa reserva a outro casal que chegou antes e não tinha pedido na reserva, ainda ouvimos de um funcionário com alguma arrogância isto é para quem chega primeiro como se a confirmação da reserva de nada servisse. Estivemos 1h à espera que arranjassem uma cadeirinha para desenrascar, depois foram ter connosco para trocar de cadeirinha e colocaram uma com a peça que prende o cinto do carro partida. Pedimos troca da cadeira, trouxeram outra mas também não funcionava a 100% em termos de segurança (não me refiro a marcas nem questões de limpeza da cadeira porque num rent a car do género não se espera muito, falo apenas em não estar funcional para prender ao carro de acordo com a especificação da própria cadeira). Resumindo, oferecem um serviço de aluguer de cadeira auto mas corremos o risco de chegar lá e não ter cadeira ou então uma cadeira estragada. Em relação ao aluguer do carro em si, sem a questão da cadeira, foi o expectável.

Tried returning the vehicle 3 times on the return date but the door was locked every time and none of the 4 numbers provided on the ticket answered the calls. I left the vehicle outside overnight and returned again the next morning with the keys. Despite my evidence of call logs and videos of the door being locked, the lady was extremely rude, put her hand in my face, demanded I stop explaining and refused to help me; then told me to go to an address on the other side of the island without a vehicle with the proof if I wanted my return deposit. I was charged for an extra day. Terrible customer service.

Fair. Nice. I thought I had an issue with the car. Immediately given support and shortly after, a mechanic was there. My wrong judgment. Still, the car was tested. Nothing to do with all the other like companies I had been a customer of. And the prices were quite welcoming. Will come back.

Tivemos uma experiência carrossel com esta rent a car, alugamos um carro da classe mais baixa e embora o veículo tivesse claras dificuldades nas subidas mais acentuadas, cumpriu o serviço, na penúltima noite, o carro sobreaqueceu e aí começaram os problemas. Na ótica da maior parte dos consumidores um número de emergência será um número que estará disponível a qualquer hora, no entanto ninguém nos atendeu, dizendo que só estavam disponíveis até uma certa hora, o que é confuso e enganador mesmo que involuntariamente. No dia seguinte estiveram as 9 no nosso hotel para trocar a viatura e até nos deram uma melhor, no que toca ao serviço foram excelentes mas pecaram ao darem a entender que possuem um número que na verdade não funciona

Sle na kouknula na auto jestli se neobjevilo po cest n jaké nové po kození. A poté vrátila deposit. Skv lá cena, rychlé slu by. Mohu pouze doporu it :)

I had really good experience, everything went easy and very smooth, we were collected at the airport , car weve received had some minor body damage but other than that car did very well including all crazy uphills, we did a lot of driving and had no issues at all . Were able to get us a car for the next day, offered a higher class car as that s all they had, but was still reasonably priced, didn t try and up sell any extras, other than tyre/glass insurance, which after driving in Madeira tyre insurance makes sense as some of the roads were pretty bad with potholes. Diesel Renault Clio was excellent and had apple carplay so connecting phone was easy to use GPS. Didn t give any hassle when returning deposit even though I d driven 500km, overall great experience and would use again.

Wir waren mehr als zufrieden. Sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter die alle perfekt englisch konnten. Das Auto haben wir spontan, ohne Reservierung gemietet und am Tag der Rückgabe konnten wir sogar ganz flexibel noch einen Tag verlängern. Der Preis war super und sie Kaution haben wir ohne Beanstandung sofort zurück bekommen.

Rental in april 2023 - 8 days. Reservation via email without problems. We got picked up at the airport very fast. Problems started when came to car pickup. Reservation was made for Fiat 500 cabrio automatic. Ive confirmed it 5 days before BUT when we came we were informed that our car was sold few day before and someone forgot to inform us about it. We got discount because of it, but still there were cheaper rental companies renting fiat 500 automatic without cabrio so even with discount price wasnt the best. I didnt want to waste any more time for searching new rental company so we stayed with the one they gave us. They also said that 2 days later they will have fiat 500 cabrio manual, and they gave us an option to change first car to cabrio, but we decided to stick with automatic transmission. I cant complain about anything else, pickup/transport/service were very good and stuff was also friendly.

What a great company! Because: - they came to pick us up from the airport exactly at the time we told them we would arrived; - they offered me exactly the car I told them I wanted; - the car was a brand new Citreon C3 automatic -full option- with only 2000 km. I drove over 1000 km in 2 weeks without any kind of problems; - I was able to pay with cash and the deposit (100 euro) was paid with a debit card. The deposit was returned to me a few days after I returned the car; - they have the best prices on the whole island; - also, they told me to return the car in parking lot no. 7 but because that parking lot was full, I left the car in the immediate vicinity of this parking lot (parking lot without a barrier). I communicated this to them on WhatsApp and everything was ok. Thank you! Out of topic! Advice for those coming to Madeira for the first time: - you have to be a very good driver because the roads have many curves, they are narrow, very steep or inclined, you drive a lot through tunnels, and on the highway, pay attention to the entrances from the secondary roads on the highway because you have to wait a long time especially on the rush hours and position yourself carefully so that you dont get hit from behind; -I saw 4 accidents, one of which was very serious due to not adapting the speed when exiting the tunnel; - do not drive aggressively and do not make risky overtaking. We had booked online two weeks before arrival. Upon arrival at the office they told us that they had responded to the email the same day telling us that they no longer had machines available, but this email never reached us. Very disappointed

We had the absolute best experience you could ask for when renting a car. Excellent and fast without problems. They will ask for your flight number and come pick you up as soon as you arrive. You have your car within a few minutes and the same is when returning. The prices are adequate and you dont have to pay anything in advance. The deposit is 100 , which was a big advantage compared to other car rental companies. There was no problem when returning the vehicle, which we were afraid of when reading reviews from other companies. I definitely recommend it if you want to rent a car quickly and without problems.

In August of 2021 I rented a car from this company for the several days. On the last day, I was fined 30 EUR for improper parking. While returning the car to the company, I asked its employee - how can I pay the fine? I was told that I had to pay the fine to them (Five Rent a Car) in cash and they would take care of it. Then I was very grateful for their service, although I did not receive any payment receipt for these 30 EUR. Now, after one and half year I received a letter from the Police of Madeira with a demand to pay the fine plus an additional fine for the delay. Totally 60 EUR. I am an honest and unfortunately naive person, so I paid everything. Im not saying this company is dishonest, but some of their staff are definitely

Reasonably priced; small deposit of 100 euros for car body damage, everything else insured, good condition car, perfect for us and for the roads of Madeira, friendly staff, prompt service. We dropped off the car in the airport carpark before our flight and the deposit was refunded in less than 2 days. Cannot fault them and would use them again. Thank you for a great service!

We booked the automatic fiat 500 cabrio which they promote on their website but received a different car. When we told the guys they said there was nothing they could do and we should send an email, so we did... many! We found out trough one of the staff members that the car they offer they do not have! It is a SCAM! They will tell you it was rented out and they will offer you the manual version. When you decline they will tell you to cancel your booking even if you are halfway trough your holiday. We paid for an automatic cabrio and received nothing similar and no solution. When you email they just dont reply that is their solution. This also explains all the other reviews where people also did not get the car they booked. In response to the owners reaction: you are a liar and you more than deserve this review. Your staff literally told me about your scam, pretending to have a fiat 500 automatic cabrio and then offering people another car. Pretending it is rented out or broken just like you do in your response. You did not respond to all my emails and never gave us a proper solution and you never offered a replacement car with the same specs. We paid for something we did not get so you deserve peoples bad reviews.

Everything perfect,even if I booked for a 500 they gave me a smart,the problem they dont answer me back,they ask me 100 insurance ( gas,etc) ,the car is perfect they even reply back everything good,put more than necessary tank fuel,brang the car to a car wash,still no sign for my money,not even a reply back! The car i delivered Saturday,you reply me Thursday?if a car has a damage you let me know immediately,and you send me pictures, because from Saturday I let the car until Thursday its a big period of time you reply and you inform me about the situation immediately, dont expect the customer to write you 4 emails to discover after 5 days the car is damaged,this a scam next time Ill check with Auto Rent a Car,much more serious, at least they reply immediately and when the car is taken they send eventually the pictures; Madeira is a beautiful island,but for companies like you people start to hate it

Me confirmaron la reserva rápidamente por email, muy buen precio. Me recogieron en el aeropuerto aunque el vuelo se retrasó sin ningún problema. No piden tarjeta de crédito, solo un depósito de 100 puede ser en efectivo. Me lo devolvieron súper rápido . Entregue el coche en el P7 del aeropuerto de madrugada, te dan facilidades para todo. Pick up from airport was organized, office very close to airport to sign up contract and take a car, all paper work was ready in advance everything was explained clearly regard car use, contract and etc. Had car mechanical issue, car was replaced in couple hourd, even I lived in a mountains were maps not show the adress. Vrácení vozidla jsme m li domluvenépo p ti dnech, v 9:00 p ed hotelem Duas Torres. Po 45. minutách ekání jsme volali do p j ovny, e pot ebujeme auto odevzdat, proto e máme zaplacený výlet za delfíny. Byli jsme uji t ni, e do 15 minut si pro vozidlo p ijdou, a e klidn m eme nechat klí e na recepci. P i po ádání recepce jsme byli odmítnuti, e nem ou vzít na sebe ádnou zodpov dnost ohledn p edání - emu rozumím. Pán zp j ovny nedojel za 15 minut, ale za 25. Arogance na míst , typu e jsme m li nechat auto s klí ema uvnit odem ené, proto e máme plné poji t ní byla zcestná.... Je t jsme rychle sp chali na taxi s vidinou, e na nás na lodi po kají. Bohu el. Výlet jsme nestihli ztratili jsme 70 Eur za výlet + 10 Eur za taxi. Z d vodu nespolehlivých zam stnanc , kte í p ijedou o hodinu a p l pozd ji a ani se neomluví tuto p j ovnu nemohu doporu it. Peníze které jsme ztratili p í t rad ji p edám dra í p j ovn , na kterou bude spolehnutí.

Najlepsza wypo yczalnia aut na wyspie, jestem ostro ny je li chodzi o wynajem aut na wakacjach( du o oszustów), ale Five Rent za atwi wszystko profesjonalnie. Potwierdzenie terminu szybciutko, potem Przemi a Pani odebra a nas z lotniska i pojechali my do biura. Za chwile kluczyki do auta mia em w r kach , nowiutkie i czyste Renault w bardzo fajnych pieni dzach. Serdecznie Polecam , auto ubogaci mi urlop jak równie zwiedzanie wyspy o 1000%. Po najmie auto zwróci em i zosta em odwieziony na lotnisko. Pojedy cze gwiazdki to chyba od turystów, którzy wymagali nie wiadomo czego. Dzi kuje wam i do zobaczenia jeszcze kiedy :) :) :)

Excelente ! Fizemos marcação online e demoraram poucos dias a confirmar a nossa reserva. Os preços são bastante competitivos e exigem apenas uma caução de 100 . Essa caução recebemos na conta logo no dia seguinte a entregarmos o carro. Logo que chegamos ao aeroporto entraram em contacto conosco para nós levarem até ao local onde estão os carros. No final, pedimos extensão do horário de entrega do carro, não nos puseram qualquer problema, pediram apenas que efetuássemos um pagamento de 30 , deixamos o carro no aeroporto no parque que nos indicaram e tudo correu bem. Se voltarmos à maravilhosa Ilha da Madeira, voltaremos a escolher esta empresa.

Reserva feita através do site da empresa com seguro incluído(franquia 0). Levantamento da viatura bastante rápido, sem complicações. Foi pedido apenas um depósito no valor de 100 . Devolução foi feita depois das 20:00 horas no parque do aeroporto com um custo de 30 relativo a taxa de fora de horas. Depósito devolvido ao fim de três dias. Recomnedo

Das perfekte Mietwagen-Erlebnis: Wir haben für 9 Tage ein Automatik-Auto (Gruppe BA) gemietet und waren wirklich maximal zufrieden! (Ich kann übrigens sehr empfehlen das Geld in ein Automatik-Auto zu investieren, weil es in Madeira sehr steile Straßen und auch Parkplätze an steilen Straßen gibt und man mit einem Automatik-Auto super entspannt ist.) Der Service hätte eigentlich 6 Sterne verdient: Da wir sehr spät auf Madeira angekommen sind wollten wir schnellstmöglich in unsere Unterkunft und haben das Mietauto für den nächsten Tag reserviert und konnten es gratis zu unsrer Unterkunft (in Gaula) liefern lassen. Dort wurden dann die Kosten gezahlt (Debitkarte reicht aus); die Kaution von 100 wurde nochmal seperat gezahlt, damit sie leicht zurückgezahlt werden kann. Beim Abgeben des Autos war eigentlich geplant, dass wir es aus P7 am Flughafen abstellen, da dieser jedoch voll war, haben wir bei Five angerufen und vereinbart, dass wir uns direkt am Abflugbereich treffen. Keine fünf Minuten später wurde eine Mitarbeiterin vorbeigebracht, die kurz das Auto auf Schäden begutachtete, den Tankstand überprüfte und schon wurde die Kaution zurücküberwiesen. Einfach perfekt! Falls ich nochmal nach Madeira komme, werde ich definitiv wieder bei Five mein Auto mieten!

Reserva fácil e sem burocracias extremas (é verdade que ao reservar no site fica sujeito a confirmação mas isso esta bem explicito.) Atendimento rápido e cordial, com postura justa aquando da observação na entrega e receção carro, na eventualidade de qq dano . Creio que a opção por deposito cheio/depósito cheio seria mais justa, economicamente, para o cliente, do que a opção de entregar depósito tal como se recebe...Ainda assim não é por este ponto menos bom que a empresa perde! Sem custos adicionais disponibilizaram banco elevatório da criança e carro tinha GPS.

Chegado ao aeroporto do Funchal, ligaram-me a combinar um sítio para nos encontrarmos. Passado uns 5 minutos chegou uma carrinha que nos levou as traseiras do aeroporto onde estava o parque dos carros. Aluguei um carro de grupo b e deram-me um simpático Mitsubishi SpaceStar. O carro era recente e estava limpo. Vinha equipado com ar condicionado automático e gps. Não foi preciso pagar por fora para utilizar o gps. Vinha equipado também com Android Auto o que eu achei bastante útil para navegar pela ilha. O seu motor 1.2 foi suficiente para me levar a todo o lado. Os pneus estavam em bom estado e os travões também. Gostei de trabalhar com esta empresa e recomendo!

Enorm tevreden. Er werd altijd snel gereageerd op berichten. Toen onze vlucht geannuleerd werd en we ineens midden in de nacht zouden arriveerden was het geen probleem en konden we tegen een kleine extra betaling alsnog de auto ophalen. 3 weken plezier gehad van de auto die prima in orde was. Van begin tot eind werd alles goed geregeld en dat voor een hele goede prijs. De borg stond ook supersnel weer op onze rekening bij thuiskomst.

não tinhamos reserva com esta empresa. chegámos ao aeroporto fomos recebidos, após esperar mais de meia hora e efectuar telefonema, por outra empresa concorrente, que acabou por nos deixar na mão com a reserva. entrámos nas instalações da Five e fomos super bem acolhidos, prontificaram-se a resolver o nosso problema, tendo disponibilizado de imediato uma viatura a qual foi entregue nas devidas condições, totalmente limpa e verificada. foram super profissionais e simpáticos, recomendo . .

Great experince, they provided a relatively new car in good condition for a very reasonable price, which included full insurance. The security deposit was only 75 which can be paid in cash as well so its possible to rent a car without credit card. I would suggest booking group B or higher, as our 1000ccm Fiat Panda (Group A) was a bit weak on the steep roads of Madeira, but it got us everywhere nonetheless.

Did not go into this establishment, but it can be found in the front of The Four Views Shopping Centre. It does seem to have good reviews. Take time to read the reviews if you want to hire a car. Most of their clients seem very satisfied with the car and service they got!

Wir waren uns vor unserem Urlaub unsicher, ob alles klappt. Aber es hat alles super geklappt mit Five Rent a Car. Ein Mitarbeiter hat uns den Mietwagen bis ans Hotel gebracht & dort auch wieder abgeholt. Wir haben direkt am ersten Tag die Kosten für den Wagen + eine Kaution i.H.v. 75 gezahlt, die wir am letzten Tag auch wiederbekommen haben. Das Fahrzeug war im top Zustand & der Preis unschlagbar. Empfehlenswert!

Tutto ottimo fino al giorno del ritiro della macchina. Ci presentiamo al punto e allora concordata ma non troviamo nessuno. Dopo mezzoretta decido di chiamarli e mi rispondono dicendo che avrebbero ritirato lauto alla sera perché il signore era già impegnato da altre parti. A quel punto accettiamo e chiediamo però di restituirci il deposito. Prima ci dicono che ce lo avrebbero restituito, poi, ad una terza chiamata, ci riferiscono che ce lo avrebbero restituito dopo la revisione della macchina e che non sarebbe servita la carta di debito utilizzata per il deposito. Essendo che mancavano parecchie ore allora del ritiro e noi sapevamo di aver lasciato la macchina perfetta, non volevamo rischiare che succedesse qualcosa e che fosse poi anche a carico nostro e quindi abbiamo insistito per far recuperare la macchina al più presto. Sono arrivati nel giro di 5 minuti e la carta di debito era NECESSARIA per annullare la transazione. Mi chiedo se il deposito sarebbe mai arrivato se avessimo concordato a tutto dallinizio.

Contraté recogida del coche en el aeropuerto pagando el suplemento y lo que hicieron fue 1- nadie en el aeropuerto 2- tras esperar y llamar yo, nos vinieron a recoger y nos llevaron a su oficina a 2 km que es donde nos dieron el coche. Contraté sin fianza y en la oficina me dijeron que habían cambiado y que tenía que abonar 75 euros de fianza, me negué. Nos dieron el coche con la gasolina en reserva, mal detalle la verdad. Y lo peor, habíamos dicho devolver el coche a las 14 h, pero como no era en el aeropuerto sino a 2 km le dijimos al chico (Miguel) que lo llevaríamos a las 13h, sin problema dijo, aquí hay gente siempre. Llegamos a las 13 h y no había nadie, tuvimos que volver a llamarles y decían que nos recogerían a las 14h, íbamos a perder el vuelo y al final nos dieron la opción de dejar el coche con las llaves en la guantera en el parking del aeropuerto, cogimos el vuelo por los pelos. Yo no volveré a contratar con ellos.

Its a very good company. There was no problem with communication and the car was ok - we rented the cheapest. The whole process was straightforward and there were no hidden costs. Big plus - theres no need to have a credit card. Thank you!

Een hele fijne partij om samen te werken. Stonden netjes klaar op het vliegveld, na een korte rit bij de autoverhuurder aangekomen. Daar stonde de auto klaar, het papierwerk was snel geregeld. Bij het inleveren van de auto ging ook alles voorspoedig en werden we netjes bij het vliegveld afgezet.

Good prices and service. No need a credit card for deposit. Deposit also was very small for MA group witch was 2022 Citroën c4. Highly recommend!

Top experience. Good communication, competitive pricing, fast hand over and easy return after companys working hours (I left the car at 9pm at the airport, as agreed, next to the departure terminal which was sooooo convenient). Deposit refunded in 24working hours. Car was in good condition (just few scratches, which is normal). I booked a class C Renault Clio with a manual transmission and a diesel engine. It was a right choice as the roads in Madeira are very steep and you need few extra horses for comfortable driving. I totally recommend this company! 5/5

Serviço 5 estrelas correu tudo bem foi entregue o carro com certo nível de combustível foi tudo apontado apenas para entregar o carro com o mesmo nível, o carro foi todo visto a nossa frente antes de nos entregarem (aconselho a tirarem sempre fotos pois o rapaz que vê o carro pode não ser o mesmo na entrega). Na entrega viram e inspecionaram o veículo nada muito a fundo, o depósito estava igual e entregaram a caução. Ainda nos deram boleia ao hotel que era ao lado do aeroporto! 5* quando vier cá será esta companhia que irei alugar o veículo sem dúvida!

There are a lot of stars here but for me it did not work well! The car in itself was fine.. the issue was that I was told it would have GPS and it did not have it! Also i took the car with less than half of the tank full and was told that should return it with the same amount however if I returned it with too much fuel then they d give me back a little bit of the money spent on the fuel.. no surprise there the guy at the desk did not comply with what he had said! His attitude was not nice! Said one thing and then refused ! Regarding your reply I was told the car would have GPS on the day I got it it did not and the attendant said there are no other car available so logically I took what was in front of me and hence what it says on the paper you mention! As for the fuel I returned the car with the tank around 80% fuel while when I took it was only two bars full which was way less than even 50% of the thank and the attendant said if impossible to return the car like you take it than the company would contribute towards the excess! I don t mind if it was or had been even a 5 what annoyed me was the attendant s lie, he said something that he either did not want to or could not do! Ideally why don t you just follow the policy of renting the car with full thank and request it to be returned with a full thank! Certainly would help and avoid disappointment s

So we booked a C-class car from this company, which should have been a 4 door hatchback with a diesel engine, suitable for the steep and narrow roads of Madeira. We expected a Renualt Clio, instead we got a Fiat 500 diesel, 2 door, small car. The car was in decent shape, but not with a full tank as we requested. After picking up the car, the guy who did the paperwork told us he will change the car the next day or so but that didn t happen, instead they postpone it, and don t call back. It is a nightmare fitting 4 people in a 2 door Fiat 500, and the turn radius of this car is horrible.

O site aceita reservas para datas nas quais já não têm viaturas disponíveis e posteriormente envia um email a dizer que sw deve aguardar confirmação e nunca chega nem a confirmação, nem um email a avisar que não têm veículos disponíveis. Só depois de ligarmos é que informam.

A car was booked a month ago. They didnt informed me that they dont have available cars on my selected date. I got answer to wait order confirmation. A week before arriving to Madeira i asked them about the car and they replied that there are no cars on my selected and reserved dates.

Excellent rental company in Funchal. They seemed much cheaper than competition, but car was still a relatively new, clean Fiat Panda in good condition. Friendly staff delivered to our hotel. No big extra costs for insurance, it was all included.

Service provided: fast, efficient, fair price. It was without a doubt one of the best car rental companies. Simple, without unnecessary bureaucracy. The rental price was exactly the same as the reservation, with full insurance included. I recommend it without a doubt.

Não são de confiança!! Fiz uma reserva de 5 dias , através de email, para este mês de outubro de 2021 e quando pedi para alterar a reserva para 3 dias eles deixaram de responder aos mails e até às chamadas telefónicas.. Pelos vistos tinham muito trabalho.. Deviam ter mais respeito pelos clientes!!

Rented a car for 1day on Porto Santo from Five Rent a Car. Read the reviews upfront so straight away texted them for confirmation. All worked perfectly. They brought the car on time to my house and picked it up from my house a day later. Took the 5 insurance, which on Porto Santo comes in handy, since you have a lot of roads, that are close to being offroad. Also had some troubles going down somewhere with the car (be carefull since the municipal doesnt warn you upfront you cant go down without 4x4druve), so I couldnt get up. Five areanged a jeep to pull us out for a small price. Happy about the service. We probably rent for one more day while we stay here.

All good! Picked them because I didnt had credit card so a lot of other companies were out of reach. Also, the price was better than competition. Got a Fiat Panda, which was more than enough even for the steep hills of Madeira. Sure, some hills were doable only in 1st gear, but it worked. The car was clean, around 30k km, and everything worked as expected.

Prestem atenção à quantidade de combustível que o carro tem, quando este vos é entregue.. Peçam sempre com deposito cheio! A agência tem como política entregar o depósito a meio, sendo esse o meio de recolha também. Como poderá alguém que não conhece a viatura saber quanto é meio depósito ? Enganam-se, metem a mais e a agência fica sempre a ganhar! No meu caso ficaram a ganhar e muito! Nada justo para o cliente.

We had a great experience, the car was clean, almost new fiat 500 cabriolet, really great for enjoying the beautiful mountain and coastal drives around Madeira, they dropped it off in Machico and collected it from the Hotel in Funchal. No extra charge for few hours early or late if arranged properly, reasonable cost and no fuss.

Although the car we rented was really good, we had really bad experience with the rental company. We accidently scratched the car in the parking lot. Despite having paid for full insurance (scdw) which should cover the accident, they evaluated the accident as negligence and said that the insurance doesnt cover it. We went to the rental company personally and complained that the contract we signed said nothing about scratching a car being negligence. After showing them the contract they apologized for the mistake and let us go. THEY DEFINITELY TRIED TO SCAM US FOR MONEY!!!

We had car from this company for four days. Easy procedures, good price, car almost new and in good condition. Collection of the car was simply and took less than 10 minutes with all paperwork. On the return day we just left keys in the hotels reception. Payment in cash or card available.

We rented a car for 10 days (OPEL Corsa). We booked the car by money transfert (-> no credit card imprint like classic car dealers = no bad surprises). The car dealer was very nice, came picking us straight to the airport. The car inspection was fast , the car in very good condition. We left the car at the airport also. We paid 250 for 10 days (car body & headlights covered) + 10 for an additionnal driver = 260 total. Great! Professional and chill, we highly recommend! :)

Bardzo dobra wypo yczalnia. Nie pobieraj depozytu. Samochód dostarczony pod hotel, sami równie odebrali go z hotelu. Auta nowe i zadbane. Formalno ci za atwione w kilka minut. Za nowe Renault Clio na jeden dzie zap aci em 45 z pe nym ubezpieczeniem. Bardzo mocno polecam!

Eventhough they came to pick up the car 25 minutes late with no excuse, It was the best choise we could make. The car was in an amazing state and everything went well. No extra necessary fees or anything. You can pick between 200 cash deposit or insurance. They accept cards (credit and deposit too). Also they didnt require young driver fee (23yo).

Have had to chase this company 7 days for invoice. No answer to WhatsApp msg or calls to their office. Finally I went there. Guy who said a week ago no problem with invoice looked at me like somebodey with deep Alzheimer disease. Definitely some staff is in need of more efficient training. Dont trust their smiles. Invoice upfront. Otherwise Madeira is beautiful island and full of nice people. Answer to comment of company owner: No its no joke, I have evidence of our communication or to be more exact - lack of any communication from your side after I asked for invoice. Issuing invoice is not that painful, its easy, takes few minutes. So instead of fooling others you should say sorry. But probably you dont know this habbit. After your answer I feel more convinced I did right giving one star. Hopefully from now you wont have this problems in future, but even if you get so busy again, at least you will inform about that. Good practice: simply issue invoice at the moment of receiving payment, ok? :)
