Excellent top-of-the-range cars, qualified service. I dont give it 5 stars because the deposit amount after closing the contract is not made available immediately, we have to wait 5 days, the best in this aspect.

Haben auf Madeira ein Auto gemietet. Bei der Übergabe der Fahrzeugschlüssel wurde mir ausdrücklich gesagt, dass egal was mit dem Auto wäre, selbst bei einem Platten Reifen (obwohl ein Reifendichtset an Bord ist), ich immer erst die Hotline anrufen solle. Während der Fahrt ist dann einfach so die Heckscheibe zersprungen (wahrscheinlich wurde sie unter Spannung eingebaut und durch eine Bodenwelle ging sie dann kaputt). Also, Hotline angerufen und der Dame erklärt, was passiert ist. Leider sprach sie extrem schlecht englisch. Sie sagte mir, dass es abgeschleppt werden soll. Ich habe mehrfach am Telefon darauf hingewiesen, dass ich das Auto auch selbst zur Mietstelle fahren kann, was alles verneint wurde. Der Abschleppwagenfahrer kontaktierte mich per WhatsApp, auch ihm teilte ich mit, dass ich selbst fahren kann, da das Auto ja trotzdem noch fährt. Bei der Abgabe dann die Info, ich solle die Abschleppkosten bezahlen, da das Auto noch fahrtüchtig war. Es wäre meine Verantwortlichkeit gewesen, das Auto nicht abschleppen zu lassen - auch wenn mir die Dame am Telefon gesagt hat, das es definitiv abgeschleppt werden soll. (Als ob ich da widerspreche wenn die Mietwagenfirma selbst festlegt, dass es abgeschleppt wird?!) Ich hätte mich weigern sollen und der Abschleppservice wäre komplett optional, aber da ich mich für den entschieden habe, müsste ich ihn auch zahlen. Genial! Nach ewigem Diskutieren vor Ort wurde mir dann gesagt, dass sie es sowieso nicht entscheiden können, ich solle mich an eine E-Mail-Adresse wenden. An diese Adresse hab ich mich mit allen Details gewandt und musste mehrfach nachfragen, ob die Mail angekommen ist. Nach zwei Wochen kam die erste Antwort, ich solle doch bitte die Reservierungsnummer mitteilen, welche ich aber bereits in der ersten Mail geschickt hatte - nur dazu hätte man die auch lesen müssen. Als ich diese schickte kam nach vielen Tagen und unzähligen Nachfragen dann wieder eine Antwort: Sie haben in Madeira angerufen und ja, die Zahlung ist so korrekt. Keine Begründung, keine Nachforschung, nix. Und damit ist der Kreis wieder geschlossen. Die Leute in Madeira sagten mir ich soll mich an die Zentrale wenden und die Zentrale sagt, dass die Leute auf Madeira meinten, es wäre korrekt. Was für eine frustrierende Erfahrung. Bei dem nächsten Mietwagen werde ich einen ganz großen Bogen um Guerin machen.

Une arnaque! Il me charge 90 euros pour nettoyer l arrière de la voiture alors que nous étions 2 et que nous avons jamais utilisé la banquette arrière et tout ca 1 semaine après avoir rapporté la voiture!

Alles gut außer den großen Preisaufschlag im Airport für Automatik.

Es hat alles wirklich gut geklappt, sind sehr zufrieden mit dem Auto (Hyundai Kauai) gewesen. Abholung und Endabwicklung hat mit dem freundlichen Person sehr gut funktioniert. Mit der Bushaltestelle vor dem Gebäude kommt man auch gut hin und wieder weg, auch wenn es eher in Stadttandlage von Funchal liegt.

ARNAQUE 1 étoile car on ne peut pas mettre 0 ! Nous avons loué une Polo, les disques de frein était foutus !! Dès que je freinais, la voiture tremblait comme une folle même en rétrogradant !! Aillant du mal à freiner nous avons griffé le phare. On nous a facturé 255,70 pour une petite griffure sur le phare !!!! INADMISSIBLE Voir photo Je déconseille vivement !!!

More than one hour to get a car. Staff dies not talk to you and just take their time. Avoid

Zuerst hatten wir keinerlei Probleme mit Guerin. Abholung hat geklappt und wir wurden sehr nett beraten. Auch die Rückgabe ging Problemlos und wir erhielten unsere Endabrechnung ohne Mängel und Kosten. Nach Hinweis von uns, dass das Auto ab und zu Probleme bei der Beschleunigung gemacht hat, bekamen wir zwei Tage später eine E-Mail mit einer Zahlungsaufforderung in Höhe von 590 Euro weil jetzt festgestellt wurde, dass wir falsch getankt haben. (Benziner - wir sollten Diesel getankt haben - was interessanterweise nicht möglich ist, wenn man nicht von weiter weg auf die Tanköffnung zielt) Wir haben dann um einen Werkstattbericht mit Zeitstempel gebeten. Diesen gab es natürlich nicht oder wurde uns nicht weitergeleitet. Es wurde immer nur weiter die Forderung erhoben. Ohne eine Rechnung oder Ähnliches zu stellen. Nachdem wir klar gemacht haben, dass wir ohne Rechnung und ohne Werkstattbericht nicht zahlen würden, hat Guerin ein deutsches Inkasso Unternehmen eingeschaltet und angegeben, dass wir unsere Miete nicht gezahlt hätten. Nun haben wir auch an das Inkasso Unternehmen alle Belege gesendet und warten ab, was die Firma als nächstes versucht. Also kurz gesagt aus unsrer Erfahrung: Vor Ort nette und hilfsbereite Mitarbeiter. Aber was danach kam ist eine Schande !

O aluguer até correu bem, embora não tinham o carro que inicialmente tinha escolhido, o que me fez dar um nota mais negativa e a publicidade enganosa que eles dizem que teria um desconto de 50% no depósito a quando entregasse o carro sem ter o depósito cheio, o problema é que os valores que eles usam não são os valores de mercado ( mesmo sendo o mais alto na ilha da madeira) mas sim uns valores internos em que os supostos 50% ficam mais caros indo eu atestar o carro sem qualquer desconto. Considero isso publicidade enganosa e tenham cuidado com as ditas promoções.

Es un Timo. Teníamos una reserva para recogernos a las 22:00 en el aeropuerto de Madeira y no vinieron a recogernos. Llamamos al número de contacto y no cogieron.

UN FRAUDE. Alquilamos un coche y pagamos la cobertura por adelantado ya que no había otra opción. A la hora de recogernos no venía nadie por lo que llamamos al número que aparece y nos cogieron desde Faro. Nos proporcionaron el número de Funchal supuestamente y lo único que hicieron fue insultarnos y colgarnos. Perdimos el dinero y nunca vino nadie a por nosotros.

Betrug. Definitiv KEINE Empfehlung! Das online gebuchte und bezahlte Auto wurde uns nicht gegeben da ihnen die Kreditkarte nicht passte mit der wir das Auto bereits bezahlt hatten. Das Personal vor Ort war inkompetent, präpotent und null daran interessiert das Problem zu lösen. Am Ende haben sie uns 150 verrechnet (das Auto hätte für die Tage Ingesamt 250 gekostet) um uns anschließend das selbe Auto für den selben Zeitraum um 600 anzubieten!! Wir sind dann zur Konkurrenz einen Schalter weiter gegangen. Nie wieder.

Todo perfecto y muy recomendable. Nos atendió la chica en español, muy amable y rápida en la entrega, El vehículo fue superior al reservado, más amplio y con buen motor. El coche estaba casi nuevo, 4000 km, e impecable en todo. Trato perfecto. Muy recomendable.

Mauvaise expérience l an dernier avec cette agence. Nous n avions pas de carte de crédit mais une carte de débit. On nous a facturé le pack premium d assurance alors que nous avions demandé l assurance minimum car nous sommes déjà couvert en cas de risque par ailleurs. Mauvaise foi de l agence qui dit avoir respecté notre demande alors qu elle nous a bien facturé une assurance facultative. A fuir !

Basically they dont accept debit card or American Express card for the deposit or, and thats even worse, any card that is not under the drivers name ! And obviously they cannot change the drivers name so we could pay with another card. So, never again !

Experiência a não repetir! Adorei o atendimento do stand. Todos os colaboradores foram 5*, no entanto o serviço em si é péssimo! A começar na inflexibilidade e a terminar no péssimo aconselhamento quanto à viatura, não recomendo.

I tried to rent a car this morning and I couldnt pay for it because the payment link didnt work and I lost the car without any message saying why. Then I found out the car wasnt actually available. Its the second time I rent from them and both times were disappointing

Very disappointed. Renting a car online with this company is a horror experience. Might be cheap but they will waste your time and ruin your vacation. Avoid this company at all costs!!!

Worst rental car experience. They work through 2nd parties which means they will not take responsibility for the reservation. I booked through Discover cars. I arrived and had pre-paid for my car but they would not give me the car and told me I needed to contact discover cars. Discover cars told me Guerin had already taken the money and both companies refused to fix the problem leaving me stranded at night with no rental car and missing $900 out of my bank account. These are terrible people who give zero effort to take care of customers that spend a lot of money with them

I had an awful experience with Guerin. They scammed us out of our money. DO NOT USE GUERIN. I booked a rental car for a week-long holiday with Guerin via Trip.com. All smooth sailing in terms of the booking process, but when we arrived to pick up the car, Guerin said we needed a credit card to place a deposit. This was hidden away in the small print of our booking, and often the distinction between a credit card and a debit card is lost in translation, so we didnt realise until we had arrived. Guerin were extermely unhelpful as they wouldnt let us use any other type of deposit - not a credit card taken over the phone (it had to be physically present), not a debit card, not even a cash deposit. It is a bizarre policy to have to take a 300 deposit exclusively by physically present credit card. This is the policy of almost all of the airport car hire desks. Guerin made no effort to be flexible on this policy, so we were unable to rent the car. They recommended I had to cancel through Alamo. We hadnt even made the rental through Alamo in the first place, so this was a completely pointless suggestion. After all our best efforts to correct the situation, the start time of the rental had passed, so we were unable to get any of our money back from either Guerin or Trip.com. We lost all of our money wed prepaid for the car rental and Guerin did nothing to try and sympathise with us or help with the situation at all. Guerin and Trip.com were happy to scam us out of our money and keep it even though we never received the car wed already paid for. Im incredibly angry with Guerin and Trip.com for providing no refund and making no effort to help. It really ruined the beginning of an otherwise excellent holiday. Luckily, we found a really good car hire place called Futuro in the centre of town. They were miles better and more professional than Guerin. I want to make sure no one makes the same mistake as us. So please, AVOID GUERIN AT ALL COSTS.

Très mauvaise surprise au rendu du véhicule. Location 10 jours dun véhicule déjà bien endommagé de partout et facturation 122 dune jante déjà abîmée à la réception du véhicule. un autre choc était déjà mentionné sur cette jante, nous navions pas fait mentionné la rayure le long du pneu. Grave erreur....
