Man wird gleich am Flughafen abgeholt und zum Auto geführt, alles sehr unkompliziert und ohne Wartezeiten. Super freundliche und entspannte Mitarbeiter. Das Auto war super, hat alles gepasst. Bei der Rückgabe ging alles genauso reibungslos. Sehr zu empfehlen, funktioniert wirklich gut.

Parfait de A à Z, équipe très pro et sympathique. Réactive sur WhatsApp, échanges en anglais. Pris et rendu la voiture à l aéroport. À noter il faut une carte de crédit pour le dépôt de garantie (pas débit). Mais possible de faire sans avec une option d assurance à 10 /j (le tarif reste du coup correct) et dépôt de garantie de 100 en espèces rendu à la fin du séjour :) Conseil si vous allez randonner, prenez vraiment un modèle un peu costaud pour les montées, on y crois pas tant qu on y est pas, mais ça grimpe fort

Mauvaise surprise quand, à larrivée à laéroport à 1h30 du matin, personne ne nous y attendait alors que dans les mails tout était clair et ok pour eux. Obligés de prendre un taxi pour rentrer à Funchal. Quand on les contacte le lendemain, aucune excuse notre employé a donné la voiture à quelquun dautre. Livraison de la voiture dans la journée, mais aucun geste commercial! On nous dit juste quil fallait appeler le numéro dassistance... mais quon nous avait même pas fourni! ça refroidit un peu quand même! Faites attention si vous louez en dehors des horaires douverture... Le reste du séjour et de la location sest bien passé et aucune mauvaise surprise au checkout.

Simplesmente impecável! Indico para todo mundo que for à Ilha da Madeira. Tivemos um problema na hora de levantar o carro que já estava reservado há dois meses e quando pensamos que a viagem estava cancelada encontramos a Insularcar, que ficava literalmente em frente ao nosso hotel, o atendimento foi excelente, nos permitiram pagar o calção em dinheiro e o valor foi bem acessível, devolvemos o carro no aeroporto e como estava tudo bem o caução foi devolvido na totalidade. Super recomendo! Quando voltarmos a ilha da Madeira, com certeza vamos reservar novamente.

Nous avons loué une Skoda Scala en avril 24. Très bon contact avec la personne qui nous a reçu (échanges en anglais), à la perception de lauto état des lieux rapide du véhicule (nous avions souscrit à lassurance supplémentaire: cdw-indispensable si on veut être serein, ce nest pas un coup insurmontable/tranquillité). Voiture livrée avec 1/4 du plein et remis avec la même quantité. Au retour, nous navions pas pu nettoyer lintérieur, mais la voiture a été rendue sans aucune atteinte extérieure. Le retour sest passé en 5 minutes, aucun problème. Adresse à recommander.

We had an amazing time renting a car with Insularcar. They provided us with a good manual car and were very punctual, friendly and gave us great tips and advice. But a word of advice to all of you not from Madeira; do not underestimate the difficulty of driving manually in a mountainous region like Madeira, so please take an automatic!!! It is worth every penny! We had a problem with our manual and couldnt start the car while standing on a hill, the nice people of Insularcar came to our aid very quickly and provided us a great automatic immediately. We cannot thank them enough and please support the smaller companies, as they will help you better than other international rental companies.

Haben über Check24 einen Fiat Panda gebucht. Am Flughafen wurden wir von einem sehr freundlichen Mitarbeiter in Empfang genommen (einen Schalter am Flughafen gibt es nicht), der sogar deutsch sprach. Der Wagen hatte erst 3.000 km und fast keine Mängel. Bei den teilweise sehr engen Straßen war der Fiat Panda sehr angenehm zu fahren. Rückgabe absolut unproblematisch. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wieder buchen.

Très contents de cette agence de location - ils étaient présents à l aéroport pour nous donner notre voiture : on avait demandé une clio et on a eu une micra bien motorisée pour cette île volcanique - pas d embrouille pour essayer de vendre tout un tas d assurances complémentaires - état de la voiture fait au moment où on a pris la voiture et au retour sans aucune difficulté - ajout d un conducteur en cours de séjour sans difficulté même s il a fallu faire le voyage à Funchal pour l ajouter sur le contrat - au retour: toujours bien présents à l aéroport pour récupérer la voiture - 5/5

We hired a car for 4 days from Insularcar & had an amazing experience with them. Fast, efficient, great value for money & super friendly - 10/10 for customer service! We had an issue with the car we rented after 2 days and we were quickly upgraded & back on the road in no time. We will definitely use them again when we are back in Madeira!

We hired a car for 4 days and decided to get a fiat panda because it was cheap and cheerful. After 2 days the car had a brake issue which is understandble because of the steep roads of Madeira. I took the car back and immediately got upgraded to a better car free of charge. They went above and beyond for service and would 100% use them again when we come back.

Everything was perfect. Weve rented an automatic opel corsa. The car was clean and quite new with only 10.000 km. The staff was friendly and helpful. We rented the car from Funchal and dropped it at the airport. I definitely recommend it.

Jai loué des voitures tant professionnellement que personnellement une bonne centaine de fois et pour la première fois, jai causé un dommage : coup mur sur aile arrière .(Au passage je conseillerais de louer une voiture avec plus de puissance quune Fiat Panda à Madère car cest trop galère avec les pentes de dingue quils ont ici ). Ils mont bien aidé à gérer le dossier auprès de mon assurance carte bancaire et je viens dobtenir un remboursement intégral du montant très correct quils avaient évalué Merci Jorge ,merci boss , merci les 2 jeunes gars rencontrés à la prise du véhicule et à son retour. Sehr gute Autovermietung. Die Männer im Service waren sehr nett und alles ging total unkompliziert. Wir haben über Check24 einen Kleinwagen gemietet und dann sogar eine Kategorie höher erhalten. Gegen einen kleinen Aufpreis kann man das Auto direkt am Flughafen abgeben, was dann das Taxi von Funchal zum Flughafen erspart, top. Die Rückgabe am Airport war auch sehr unkompliziert und ging super schnell. Beim nächsten mal Madeira werden wir wieder dort mieten.

Réservation de notre véhicule par internet la veille du départ. Prise en charge et retour de la voiture rapide et facile. Une personne nous attendait à notre arrivée devant laéroport pour nous faire signer le contrat,vérifier létat du véhicule et nous donner quelques explications (essence, réglage du GPS en français, numéro joignable 24h/24 en cas de soucis...). Idem pour le retour, tout aussi simple. Voiture en très bon état (42000 km). Personnel très agréable.Je recommande à 100 %.

Insularcar had the best price for 2 weeks for automatic gear car on island. I received 6-month-old Nissan Micra Automatic in perfect conditions. The company has no office in airport. Usually a representative will find you on arrival and departure. However, it was OK experience with no hassles or problem. You will sign the papers in the car on arrival and you will return the car on departure. I highly recommend Insularcar and I will use it again on my next trip to Madeira.

New clean cars, friendly service

nous avons reçu une confirmation de réservations dun véhicule sur internet pour 250 la semaine. Quelques heures plus tard, un mail nous disait que notre resa navait pu se faire. La nouvelle resa coûtait 280 Là encore, un autre mail identique au premier. On recommence lopération pour la 3ème fois. Dernier essai à 320 . Nous avons fait une réclamation. On attend encore...

Problemlose Abwicklung. Das Auto hatte einige Vorschäden die alle detailliert dokumentiert wurden. Die Mitarbeiter waren alle sehr nett und haben sich viel Zeit genommen. Kann ich nur empfehlen.

Reserva recomendada por outra companhia pelo telefone devido a essa estar já repleta, custo dentro do expectável comparativamente a outras companhias. Pagamento da caução pediram para ser a dinheiro ou cartão de crédito. O carro era recente e bem equipado, com alguns danos prévios, apenas ligeiros riscos sendo que todos foram anotados e detalhados. No momento de entrega deram algumas explicações relativas ao funcionamento de estacionamento na ilha. Indicaram ainda 2 contactos de emergência mas não foi necessário utilizar. O momento da recolha correu tudo bem onde inspecionaram o carro e devolveram a caução como combinado. Voltaria e recomendo.

We got a Fiat Panda with 100k+ km and a small engine but it worked fine and its an extremely common car on the island so all good. It had a few marks but all were documented and no issue on return. The staff for both pickup and drop-off were very friendly. They dont have an office in the airport so someone will be waiting for you in the airport to fill out the paperwork, hence it would be good to be on time - they were punctual and so were we so all was well. The fuel policy is bring it back with the same amount of fuel and good luck guessing how many liters from the current level is the level you got it with. Full to full would have been better. So for the above problems -2 stars, but +1 for the super friendly staff. We would definitely use Insularcar again.

Experiência bastante agradável, não bloqueiam o valor da caução nos cartões de crédito, não exigem pagamentos a dinheiro nem taxas adicionais de entrega e recolha, tudo transparente e realizado de forma mais rápida e prática possível para o conforto dos clientes. Solicitamos uma viatura de gama superior a meio da reserva, e vieram realizar a troca no nosso hotel sem nenhum pagamento adicional. Uma viatura de 2020, completamente nova e em boas condições. Recomendo vivamente, e um agradecimento ao Sr. Jorge, que foi impecável e pratico desde a primeira hora !

I have received their contact details from the rented apartment owner, actually he gave them my details and Mr. Jorge contacted me. The price was cheaper than other rent a car companies, I have paid 192 Euro for 4 days (plus 200 Euro cash deposit) with full insurance and two children boosters. The car was a Renault Clio (initially we have booked a Fiat Panda for the above mentioned amount) which was OK for the roads, but sometime I would have appreciated to have the idea of paying more for a 4x4 car, some roads are really steeps. Mr Jorge waited us at the airport and also on the day of our departure, the car inspection was very fast, not trying to find any kind of small scratches and so on (we have also kept the car safe). If we will return again in Madeira we will use Insularcar again, it was a pleasant experience.

Elle est ultra disponible et arrangeante, et son équipe a été très professionnelle et sympathique. Jai eu besoin de les appeler en cours de voyage et ils ont été rassurants et présents. Bref, cest un 20/20 pour cette agence ultra centrale à Funchal, son personnel adorable et son parc auto propre et en bon état. Kuriose Autovermietung. Nutzt den Mieter aus, um Geld von dessen Versicherung zu erhalten! Die Übergabe findet am Parkplatz vor dem Flughafen statt. Bei der Übergabe wurden alle Schäden auf einem Durchschlag markiert, welche sehr unvorteilhaft zu lesen sind später. Auf Nachfrage von Kratzern (oberflächlich, 2cm) des Unterbodenschutzes wurde sinngemäß geantwortet: Kratzer dieser Größe werden nicht berücksichtigt und diese seien kein Problem bei der Rückgabe. Bei der Rückgabe wurden wir vom selben Betreuer in Empfang genommen. Mit Hilfe der im Vertrag gekennzeichneten Schäden startete er den Rundgang ums Auto und ging zielsicher zum vorderen Unterbodenschutz. Sofort wurden die Kratzer, welche bei der Übergabe als nichtig erklärt wurden, uns unterstellt, dass wir diese gemacht hätten und dafür aufzukommen hätten. Auch das Zeigen von Fotos bei der Übergabe oder des sehr grob ausgefüllten Schadensprotokoll änderten dessen Meinung nicht, dass diese neu wären. Interessanterweise war der Rundgang um das Auto nach der Hälfte (bei den Kratzern vorne) schon beendet. Leider kam mir das vor, wie ein abgekartetes Spiel, da die Vermietung wusste, dass wir eine Zusatzversicherung über ein Buchungsportal abgeschlossen haben. So kam die Vermietung zu zusätzlichen Einnahmen und wir wurden mit dem Ausfüllen und Beantragen von Formularen belastet.

Klasse Mietwagen-Verleih. Wir haben kurzfristig und unkompliziert einen nagelneuen Mietwagen bekommen. Übergabe und Abnahme erfolgte bequem am Hotel. Wir würden hier immer wieder Buchen, klare Empfehlung. Die Mitarbeitenden waren alle sehr freundlich. Preislich lagen wir trotz Osterferien in einem vertretbaren Bereich, der auch unterhalb der Konkurrenz lag.

What a great service! They helped us out when we arrived very late and during a busy period. Our first rental option was cancelled by another company. This company has a good price, nice car and perfect arrangement with insurance. Someone hit our car, and the deposit was refunded partly. We are waiting for a final decision. Communication was clear and easy.

Well priced and were quick and efficient in arranging us a car. Unfortunately going up the mountain roads I ended up denting the rockerpanal but the amount insulacar charged for this damage was fair considering.

Rented a Renault Clio for 4 days with little notice. The staff were incredibly helpful about everything. It was the most reasonable price we could find compared to all online providers. The car was clean and ran perfectly. Could not recommend them enough!

Fast and good service. Good car for a fair price (Nissan Micra / Category C, 3 days for 155 Euros). It was possible to leave the car at the airport so we didnt need to order a taxi.

Rented Renault Clio for 1day. Good price, incl. Insurance with 200eur excess. They did not took deposit, but took card details (not blockade on the card, literaly wrote down card details on paper). Hopefully it wont leak anywhere. Car not new, but in ok condition (everything works, 130k mileage, squeaky brakes, but worked fine on mountain roads). Good value for money.

Good spot to rent a car from. Super handy pick up and drop off. We had an issue with our car after the 2nd day but a quick phone call and 30 mins later we we sorted with a new car! Would recommend

Cette société n est pas honnête. Nous avons louer une voiture 1 semaine, nous avons cassé le miroir du rétroviseur, étant honnête j ai directement écrit à la société pour les prévenir afin qu il puisse en commander un pour les prochains et ne pas se retrouver embêter. Nous sommes passés dans un garage à Funchal afin de connaître le prix, le miroir valait entre 10 et 20 . Nous sommes allés sur internet et c est également les prix annoncés (entre 5 et 10 ). Lors de la remise, ils n ont pas fait le tour du véhicule mais nous ont demander 100 supplémentaire. (Si je n avais rien dit ils auraient rien vu, mais je suis moi honnête) 100 pour un miroir qui en valait 10 ! Je leur ai écrit mais aucune explication, aucun geste, et la personne que j ai eu au téléphone lorsque le sinistre est arrivé à été très désagréable car nous n avions pas les coordonnés de la personne qui a causé le dégât (dans une rue etroite en pente, impossible de faire demi tour dans la minute pour rattraper la voiture..), je suis d accord de payer les dégâts mais de manière juste et honnête ! Je déconseille vivement !

Ich kann die Firma Insularcar leider nicht weiterempfehlen. Während meines Madeira-Urlaubs habe ich bei dieser Firma ein Auto gemietet. Das Auto war stark gebraucht und bei Fahrzeugrückgabe wurde versucht, mir bereits bei Anmietung bestehende Fahrzeugschäden anzulasten.

Agence très sérieuse et abordable. La caution nest pas très élevée (200 ) et a été rendue après un rapide tour de la voiture. Un petit bout de peinture manquait sur la carrosserie au retour néanmoins cela na été facturé que 10 . Une autre agence aurait pu prendre bien plus pour cela. Je recommande pour un séjour à Madère, leurs voitures sont suffisamment puissantes et agréables à conduire.

We have automatic Tiago and car was like very new, only 2k km run. We totally satisfied with car and service, the fee was 240 euros for three days. We have had only one issue with car play on this car when neither mine nor my friend s phone couldn t connected to car. That was unpleasant but it happens. Recommend totally

Super verhuurder! We werden door een andere verhuurder die geen auto s meer had naar deze verhuurder verwezen. Alles verliep heel soepel, prima prijs en we reden binnen 20 min weg met een hele fijne auto, een Renault Clio. Als we weer gaan zouden we opnieuw voor deze verhuurder kiezen!

Wypo yczalnia super. Procedura wynaj cie auta przebieg a bardzo sprawnie i by a mo liwo oddania auta na lotnisku. Obs uga bardzo sympatyczna. Auto nowe, czyste, w pe ni sprawne. Kaucja 300euro oddana w ca o ci.

Wypo yczyli my samochód na 5 dni. Auto zosta o dostarczone do hotelu (VidaMar Resort) o umówionej godzinie. Mi a obs uga, dobry kontakt telefoniczny, konkurencyjne ceny i dobry stan samochodu (praktycznie nowy Citroen C3). Kaucja 200 euro p atna gotówk lub kart (spisuj tylko numer karty, nie robi obci enia). Jak najbardziej polecam.

Nous venons de louer pour 1 semaine chez insulcar. Nous avions un peu peur vu que tout se passe sur le parking. Personne pour nous attendre, après coup de téléphone ils sont arrivés 10 minutes après. Tout s est bien passé, paiement carte sur le parking, pas d empreinte et d argent bloqué sur le compte. Prix respecté. Au retour, quelqu un était là , pour rendre le véhicule. Wir hatten mit der Autovermietung keinerlei Probleme. Sind spontan montags hin und haben ein zuverlässigen Nissan Micra erhalten. Auto stand bis auf kleine Mängel einwandfrei da. Brachte uns zudem jeden Berg hoch und runter. Würden immer wieder hier unser Auto anmieten.

We spontaneously rented a Fiat Panda. The lady at reception was very friendly and very helpful with travel recommendations when asked. The car wasnt the newest, but it was very well maintained and it got us to our destination. Reasonable price/performance ratio

I rented the latest generation Nissan Micra K14 here this August. There were no problems with the car, it worked great, it even handled the hills between Curral das Freiras and Pico do Arieiro and there were no problems when returning it either. The co-payment was up to the amount of the deposit. A big advantage was that the car could be rented almost immediately. I was satisfied, so I can recommend it

Best experience with a car rental. The staff is very friendly, we had a 9 seat minibus perfect for us. The car was delivered directly in airport late in the night. We unfortunately damaged it but Insularcar managed it perfectly, helping us where they could. I definitely recommend this rental over big brands in Madeira. Great car hire - we got a Petrol Clio for a week, plenty powerful enough for all the hills. Car hire guy was great - our flight was delayed by 2 hours and he waited at the airport for us to greet us when we arrived. Drop off was simple - same guy waiting at the same spot. Good car, good service, good price, no quibbles. What more do you need from car hire? Highly recommended.

Notre Fiat Panda était un peu vieille (67000 km) mais en parfait état. On na eu aucun souci, le service est impeccable et le retour (un moment stressant chez nimporte quel loueur) était sans le moindre problème. Pris la voiture à leur agence à Funchal, rendu à laéroport. Tout cela pour un prix imbattable, moins de la moitié des grandes enseignes et avec un franchise nettement moindre. A conseiller! PS. on avait réservé directement sur leur site web, sans passer par un intermédiaire.

Picked up a Renault Clio at the Funchal airport and Jorge provided us the best rental car experience we have ever had. He gave us detailed and perfectly accurate directions considering we did not have a SIM card yet and told me everything I needed to know about the car. He was knowledgeable and extremely helpful and once he knew our plans, he offered us a different drop off location for the car which was a big help. I have driven with many other carriers all over Europe and I will look for Insularcar from now on.

Charged extra 30 for delivering the car earlier than expected (flight time change). This was not written anywhere in the contract and the company doesn t provide a drop-box for keys like any other rental company.

Friendly staff, reasonable prices and good cars. My suggestion for improvement is to fill up the fuel tanks, because it is very confusing to be given a 1/4 tank and then guess how much to put in.

I rented a car in Funchal from July 2nd to 12th and loved it. Impeccable service, no stress...the car, although not new, was clean and in very good condition. I will rent from Insularcar again.

Egy kicsit vegyes a kép, a benyomás az autókölcsönz r l. Rendeltem egy Renault Cliót, helyette kaptam egy szinte új Nissan Micra-t 6200km-rel, ami megfelel a kategóriának. 993 cm3-es, ami a hegyekkel tarkított szigeten nem sok, talán nem is az emelked kön, hanem a lejt kön kevés a motorfék. Az autó tette a dolgát, ezzel nem is volt gond. Érkezéskor jeleztük, hogy nekünk korán indul vissza a repül nk, ezért hajnali 3-ra hoznánk vissza, amibe készségesen bele is egyezett az ügyintéz 30 felár ellenében, amit ki is fizettünk, de mondta, hogy ráérünk találkozni 4-kor is, mert olyan korán ezen a repül téren kevesen vannak. Becsekkoláskor láttuk, hogy a 4 órai találkozás egy kicsit kés i, ezért írtunk egy emailt, hogy találkozzunk 3:45-kor. 4 órára érkezett meg az uriember. Tüzetesen átvizsgálta az autót, pedig teljeskör biztosítás volt rajta. Természetesen hibátlanul vittük vissza. Majd abba kötött bele, hogy üres tankkal vittük vissza, holott üres tankkal kaptuk meg, ami nekem egy kicsit furcsa és szokatlan is volt. Átadáskor elmondta, hogy ha Funchal felé megyünk, hol találunk benzinkutat, de mivel mi másik irányba mentünk, azt is elmagyarázta, hogy a nyugati irányba az alagút után jobbra találjuk az els benzinkutat, és ugyanígy üres tankkal vigyük vissza. Kifogásolta, hogy üres tankkal vittük vissza, holott a papíron negyed tankot jelölt be, amit én este szemüveg nélkül nem vettem eszre. Egy kicsit elrontotta az utolsó élményünket. Lehet, hogy csak feledékeny volt, mindenesetre nem tett rám kedvez benyomást.

Tank fast leer Auto mit neun Schäden nachdem wir am Ende des ersten Tages einen Schaden auf der rechten Seite an der Unterseite des Autos entdeckt haben , hat man versucht , uns diesen Schaden auf zu drücken. Nach Abklärung mit der Zentrale war klar dass dieser Schaden schon alt war. Das Auto hat 80.000 km und neun Schäden. Ein Kleinstwagen, in schlechtem Allgemeinzustand, viel zu teuer.

Wir wurden durch eine andere Autovermietung weitergeleitet und haben ein Auto für 4 Tage gemietet. Das Auto (Renault Clio) wurde uns bis zum Hotel gebracht und auch dort wieder abgeholt. Alle Mängel wurden vorher dokumentiert. Einwandfrei.

Excelente serviço e staff muito profissional. Reservámos por telefone e correu tudo dentro do combinado. A recolha e entrega correram dentro do horário previsto. War alles unkompliziert. Die Jungs hatten echt Geduld mit mir, bis wir das passende Auto für mich gefunden hatten (Fiat Panda, hab ihn geliebt; wenig PS, aber war immer für mich da ;-)). Tivemos percalços com o voo de ida e não conseguimos cumprir com o horário acordado com a insularias mas não existiu qualquer problema e a empresa foi bastante atenciosa connosco e entendeu o sucedido . Uma empresa que não é só uma empresa mas onde trabalham pessoas de um enorme profissionalismo. Um agradecimento especial ao Sr. David pela amabilidade em nos receber no aeroporto sempre com uma enrome disposição e dando os conselhos a ter para obtermos uma ótima experiência , deixando sempre o seu número que estava disponível 24h para qualquer questão que tivéssemos durante a reserva . Aconselho vivamente pois a experiência do serviço foi muito muito boa. Esta empresa embora não esteja no aeroporto desloca-se até ao aeroporto para fazer a entrega da viatura bem como para recolha também. Wir haben ein Auto für 4 Tage ausgeliehen. Es war alles top, nur man könnte die Schäden am Auto (8 Schäden) mal reparieren lassen. Ansonsten hat man immer ein schlechtes Gefühl, dass man die Schaden irgendwie aufgedrängt bekommt. Ansonsten war alles in Ordnung.

Best price I could find, and it comes with a very reasonable deposit of 200 either with credit card or in cash. The car was new, clean and working properly. They have no cubicle at the airport, so the contract signing is right at the chairs in the arrivals hall, but don t let that bother you. Insularcar rep also accommodated the changes in my schedule as my flights got delayed. There was a night hour fee of 30 though, but it makes sense. Overall a very good option to rent a car from a smaller local company!

The service is absolutely amazing. Someone was waiting for me at the airport upon my arrival. I signed the contract and paid by card on the parking, and then got the key. The car was parked outside right at the entrance. Total procedure time : less than 15 minutes. Same efficiency when I got the car back. And the people were really friendly. I got no problem later. And all of that for a very decent price. I would definitely recommend Insularcar!

Nous avons louer la voiture pour 2 semaines , arriver à laeroport nous sommes arriver sur un Mr sympa qui nous à meme proposer de garder la voiture 1 journée de plus gratuitement , nous sommes resté supris mais très content! La voiture etait loué du jeudi au jeudi on navait donc prevu de la rendre vendredi à 17h. Jeudi à 17h passé je recoi un appel ce fameux Mr qui mapelle en dissant quil attendais la voiture je lui explique que je ne comprend quil nous à bien dit quon pouvais garder la voiture 1 journée de plus et pour le meme pris . Il mafirme que je suis une menteuse et que cest totalement faux ! Etant dorigone portugaise jai trés bien conpris ce quil ma dit de plus il parler francais et la dit à mon copain , on la remercie tout les deux pour sont geste , nous avons donc très bien compris ca proposition de la garder 1 journée de plus ! De plus il nous a vendu des accessoirs sur la voiture hors la voiture en avait aucun , elle ne capte meme pas la radio ! Les pneu etait mal gonfler , super dangeureux sur les routes de madere ! Obviously its not expensive but basically we had to have a Citroen for 4 days of rental. They gave me a Fiat Panda and told me that it is more powerful... okay... when you get started the air conditioning doesnt work not nor the opening of the door..!!! When returning the car I reported it to a gentleman but not even an apology or any words

Decided to go with insularcar for a 28 day rental as it was the cheapest after the 3/4 common cheap rentals which have really bad reviews and we was not disappointed. Firstly we was already in Funchal and picking up from the office and there was some confusion as the office was closing for dinner. Jorge got in contact with us and arranged to pick us up from our hotel and took us to the office to complete the paperwork which was very helpful. We have private excess insurance so had to leave an 800 euro deposit and there was no pressure to take their additional insurance. Car itself was in great condition. The pre check was quite brief and basic and only noted major chips and dents. We was slightly worried about this as on closer inspection later, there was some smaller marks that was not included so we took many photos as a precaution. Upon returning the car, the check was the same and there was no surprise intense inspection or questioning of the already noted damages. The car was great for a month. Given the price of insularcar vs the other cheap rentals, I would recommend as you are likely to get a better car, good service and if you dont take additional insurance there are higher excess and more risk as shown by the reviews of other companies.

Ces bons avis sont mérités ! Clio IV réservée simplement sur leur site internet, tarif indiqué en TTC, voiture réceptionnée à laéroport dans un bon état. Retournée également à laéroport. Pas davance sur la caution. Et point important, ils nont pas cherché la petite bête lorsquils ont récupéré le véhicule. Lorsque je retournerai à Madère, je repasserai pas eux. Je recommande !

Klare 5 Sterne für diese Autovermietung. Habe die kleinste Autokategorie (Minicar) in Deutschland über CHECK24 gebucht und hier ein (größeres) Fahrzeug der Kategorie B erhalten. Der junge Mann im Büro war sehr freundlich und hat mich bestens am/im Auto angewiesen. Eine winzige Delle, unten am Auto, die noch nicht einmal mir auffiel, hat er aufgenommen und in die Papiere eingetragen! Auto war in einwandfreiem Zustand mit nur 23 TKM!

La voiture nous attendait à l aéroport, nous avons rempli les papiers dans le hall des arrivées avec une personne très sympathique qui nous a aussi donné des explications sur les parkings et les stations service de l île (en français). Lors de la réception de la voiture, il n a pas essayé de nous faire prendre des assurances supplémentaires ou autres. Lors de la remise de la voiture, nous avons retrouvé la même personne à l aéroport qui a fait un tour rapide de la voiture pour se rendre compte qu il n y avait pas de dégâts supplémentaires, tout était réglé en 2 minutes sans problème. Nous avions réservé une fiat panda (ou similaire) et avons eu une Renault clio (avec gps alors que nous ne l avions pas demandé) Nous avons réservé via cette agence pour sa bonne réputation même si elle est légèrement plus chère que d autres (qui ont beaucoup d avis négatifs) et ne l avons pas regretté. Je préfère payer 2 en plus par jour pour avoir un service comme celui-ci.

Generally OK, car OK, I had no problem with deposit return. But politics with 1/4 to 1/4 tank in my opinion is not honest. I had hotel near car rental, beside they had also garage to clean cars. One day I saw man who pumped out fuel from car tank. I wonder why? Last day I finded out. Pointer was a little below 1/4, I was refueling the car and checking gauge, pointer did not move at all. Only when I tanked in total 13 liters it moved up, but it moved to 3/4 capacity of tank. It was much more than needed. Later it is pump out to 1/4 capacity for next customer. Gauge working perfectly when goes down, but dont work proper when goes up (during fueling), I thing it is on purpose.

Je connais Insularcar depuis quelques années car je suis super host chez Airbnb. Je me dois donc de donner les meilleurs « bons plans ». J ai toujours eu d excellents retours concernant ce loueur : ponctualité, amabilité, possibilité de les contacter à tout moment, honnêteté, fiabilité des véhicules, une personne vous attend avec la voiture dès votre arrivée (pas de queue auprès des comptoirs au sein de l aéroport) etc.. La caution est moindre qu ailleurs et le sourire est garanti ! Les prix sont inchangés selon les saisons et si parfois on trouve des loueurs 2 moins cher, franchement, ça ne vaut pas la peine. Le rapport qualité /prix est excellent. Je recommande vivement.

Location dune C1 et à larrivée à laéroport, bonne surprise, surclassé avec une clio. Réception de la voiture avec Jorge en 10 min en français avec toutes les infos sur la voiture+ conseils+état des lieux du véhicule Pas de vente forcée dassurance complémentaire. Nous avons crevé et mis en place la roue de secours à funchal un soir. texto le lendemain matin pour informer du soucis. Intervention dans le quart dheure : changement de véhicule et aucun frais à notre charge car réparation possible aux frais dinsular car. Pas dassurance complémentaire et pas de retenue sur les 800 de dépôt de garantie alors que dautres loueurs ne se seraient pas gênés... Restitution en 3 minutes avant embarquement. Tous nos interlocuteurs ont été très pro, efficaces. BON rapport qualité prix et surtout une expérience très positive malgré une crevaison qui aurait pu nous coûter cher chez un autre loueur.

Muy buena experiencia. El precio esta bien el coche limpio y completo. Tube que cambiar la silla del niño por otra mas grande y sin problemas. La politica del combustible 1/4 1/4 es dificil de cumplir ya que en estos coches modernos un repostaje de 10 euros no sube la aguja y alomejor es lo que te falta para llegar al 1/4. Yo tube ese problema pero no paso nada. amables y cumplidores.

War eigentlich alles sehr zufriedenstellend bis zu dem Zeitpunkt als wir das Auto zurück brachten, hier wurde uns Geld abgenommen für Schäden die wir nicht verursacht haben.

Eigentlich waren wir vorher so begeistert vom Preis und dem schönen Auto. ABER: Bei Abgabe des Autos wurden uns Schäden von vorigen Mietern angerechnet. Auf dem Durchdruck, der uns als Absicherung gegeben wurde, sah man die Markierung nicht mehr richtig. Wir wollten ihm erklären, dass dieser Schaden bereits war und er seinen Kollegen fragen soll - keine Einsicht! Absolute FRECHHEIT! 60 für NICHTS!!!!

I highly recommend this rental company, we used it while staying at the Don Pedro hotel in Machico. Earlier we went to the airport where each company wanted a deposit of about 1000 euros, but the latter only 200. The gentleman came to the hotel, we signed a contract and we paid 160 euros for 5 days. Opel Corsa, new and fragrant. I highly recommend it

Validation par internet très simple. Kilométrage illimité, aucun frais supplémentaire, prix TTC sur leur site donc pas de surprise. Ils sont venu directement a laéroport nous chercher car nous avions laissé notre no de vol. Personne tres sympathique parlant tres bien francais. 239 euros pour 8 jours avec une clio de 42000 kms avec clim et gps. Rien a redire !!! AUCUN SOUCIS !!! Fuyez les autres loueurs de voitures trop connu, jai lu pleins de choses trop négatives. Louez plutôt chez un concurrent local comme Insularcar. Un GRAND MERCI à vous nous vous recontacterons des notre prochain voyage sur cette belle ile de Madere.

Nous avons loué une voiture pour 12 jours à laéroport de Funchal et sommes très satisfaits : voiture récente, en très bon état, bon moteur. Lautre point fort, cest que le loueur était très pro, très pédagogique et à bien expliqué à chaque fois pourquoi il nous demandait tel document ou comment la voiture fonctionnait. Je recommande Insularcar !

Location dun C1 à la base pour 6 jours le tout pour 115 . A notre arrivée, surclassement pour une clio 4 AC/GPS, quasi neuve de surcrois. Exellent contact avec Antonio. Retour aussi facile, 5 minutes montre en main, aucune mauvaise surprise, je recommande ++++!

Good service, nice people that didnt try to sell me extra insurance. A litte annoying with the 1/4 to 1/4 fuel tank policy and they dont seem to have a lot of cars. But I recomend them.

Really nice staff and awesome no-hassle pick up and deliver routine. I do recommend to use, with a few words of advice below. Unlike to some larger rentals (or other countries) they do require a high deposit to be placed. They have this return as full of fuel as provided policy, which is a bit more annoying than the standard receive full, deliver full. If you are planning to stay only in Funchal you can go for the standard Fiat Panda (1.2 petrol) they offer. BUT if you aim for the hills and there are two or more of you, ask for a better engine/gear transition equipped vehicle. The Pandas second gear usage is rubbish.

I wouldn t normally bother to review a car rental company, but our experience with these guys was superb! They met us at the arrivals gate (instead of having to queue at a desk for an hour). Did the paperwork with a lovely lady, who wasn t intent in selling/scaring us into extra insurance in about 5 mins. The car was waiting for us outside, a nice new Renault Clio. After four days it seemed like the brakes weren t working properly, so popped to the airport as we were passing. They changed the brake discs and pads for us in 30mins while we had a coffee without quibble and with a smile! Handing back the car was quick and easy, and they weren t interested in trying to claim scratches or damage costs from us. It s a no brainer to use these guys.. I heartily recommend! We went through zest to get a good price

Alles reibungslos und professionell. Sogar dann, als ich das Auto nicht starten konnte, weil ich über Nacht das Licht angelassen habe, kam unverzüglich Hilfe von insular car. Ein Mitarbeiter gab Starthilfe. 15 Minuten nach meinem Anruf konnte ich schon wieder fahren. Und das, ohne eine Zusatz Gebühr bei Rückgabe des Autos. Perfekt, vielen Dank. Beim nächsten Mal auf Madeira 100% wieder!

Polecam bardzo t wypo yczalnie. Wypo yczone Renault Clio by o prawie nowe z przebiegiem zaledwie 18ty km. Fotelik dla dziecka p atny dodatkowo 6 euro za dzie by w idealnym stanie. Ca kowity koszt wynajmu(auto, fotelik i ubezpieczenie) na cztery dni wyniós oko o 130 euro plus 200 euro kaucji, któr bardzo mi a Pani z wypo yczalni odda a po zako czeniu wynajmu.

Wir hatten über billiger-mietwagen einen C1 bei Insularcar für 12 Tage gebucht. Bekommen haben wir einen Nissan Micra mit 160tsd Km auf dem Tacho. Darauf hatte ich spekuliert. Der Micra war technisch in gutem Zustand, äußerlich aber mit vielen Kratzern und Minidellen übersät, lief aber wie erwartet wie ein schweizer Uhrwerk. Der Wagen war sehr agil auf den steilen Anstiegen Madeiras. Wir waren absolut zufrieden. Auch die Übergabe erfolgte zu unserer vollsten Zufriedenheit - in gutem Englisch. Ich würde den gleichen Wagen beim gleichen Vermieter sofort wieder buchen.

Inexpensive and absolutely clean car. Very good service and nice guys. No problems at all! We rented a car for three days and got a basically brand new Clio with GPS included for no extra fee. Günstige und sehr saubere Autos. Sehr guter Service und nettes Personal. Alle super! Wir wollten ein Auto für drei Tage mieten und haben einen fast neuen Clio inklusive Navi ohne Extrakosten bekommen.
