Easy process to rent a car. I was met at the airport, where within minutes I was on my way out to enjoy the island. The car worked out perfectly. Highly recommend this rent a car service in Madeira.
Rented a car here, the communication was perfect, car was clean and although we didn't get a car we ordered, it was a better car. Although the car was not perfect for Madeira roads, it was enough to get around the island and go to hiking spots. Also, a huge plus that there is no deposit and credit card required.
It definitely was from A to Z the best car hire experience I ever had. Communication, punctuality, no hidden costs, price in comparison with the other places,quality new vehicle. We are very grateful that you made It so good and easy for us. Keep Up the fantastic work !
Hi all, I highly recommend them!! For me it was by the best renting experience ever: no deposit required; staff was friendly and helpful ; they replayed fast on WhatsApp ; the price was fair. I initially had the car (Fiat 500) booked for 5 days but soon after taking it I decided to extend for two more days. There was no problem. I got the "OK" from Abel (Thanks 😊) on WhatsApp almost instant. They also delivered and picked up the car at the Airbnb. Again. I highly recommend them. Probably the best for car rental in Funchal! PS: What I would suggest to anyone who wants to drive in Madeira : get a more powerful car! It's really nice to drive in Madeira but the roads are twisty with a lot of ups and downs 😉!
We had great experience with Madlobos in Madeira. Friendly and flexible service, offered to drive us to our hotel as we were ahead of booked schedule and the car wasn't ready yet for our use. Car itself was in good condition.
If you travel to Portugal, rent your car from Madlobos! We had such an easy and pleasant experience renting with them in both Madeira and Porto. Everyone we dealt with was friendly and helpful, the process was simple and transparent, the rental was affordable and we were allowed two drivers with full insurance. They even met us at two different airports in both Madeira and Portugal for pick up or return. There were no shenanigans and no extra charges on our credit card when we returned back to the United States. Can’t recommend them enough!
Very good and flexible service, no hidden costs. Unlimited mileage, no credit card or deposit needed, full insurance coverage - easy and comfortable. Reasonable prices! We rented a Citroen C1 in Madeira for 6 days, drove nearly 500 km all across the island. It is not too strong compared to the uphills, but enough. Would use their service again.
I rented a Clio Renault in Porto. I was really kindly and professional treated. THE WHOLE PROCESS WAS SO EASY AND SMOOTH! The owners were so charm and friendly! I 100% RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY! 5-STARS FULL OF SATISFACTION!
Cest juste parfait....je recommande vivement....on est venu le 28 Décembre.... voiture prévu pour 14H....est elle était la a 14H....a lhôtel....juste parfait....prix imbattables...la gentillesse et le professionnalisme de la part de Madlobos... exceptionnelle......on aura du rendre la voiture vendredi dernier 03/01/2025 a lhôtel pour 14H...jai téléphoné la veille donc jeudi si possibilité de reporter a 19H.....aucun problème....tu pose ta voiture donne la clef a la réception....et voilà......jai loue très souvent des voitures..... Madlobos....sont de loin les meilleurs.....et les tarifs exceptionnels...... surtout nhésite pas

Minimum formalno ci, samochód podstawiony na lotnisku, szybka procedura przekazania mi go. Bardzo mi y i pomocny pan z firmy. Pe ne ubezpieczenie, dobra cena, mo liwo p atno ci gotówk , brak depozytu. Samochód Fiat Panda Hybrid Cross 1.0 - jako da rad w górach z tym silnikiem :) Przebieg 2500 km, czysto, klimatyzacja, malutki minusik za brak radia. Procedura oddania samochodu bez konieczno ci obecno ci pracownika firmy a wi c szybko i bez formalno ci. Polecam!
The owner - Abel is a very kind person. Everything OK. On our trips It happened that I slightly scratched a back of the car. Abel was OK with that, no issues. He stayed in a possitive mood. If we get here again, we will definetelly rent a car with this company again.

Top Autovermietung, ich habe spontan abends eine Mietanfrage geschickt und habe am selben Abend eine Bestätigung erhalten. Das Auto wurde zum Hotel gebracht und von dort dann später auch wieder abgeholt. Die Kommunikation mit Abel bei der Übergang war schnell und sehr einfach. Ich konnte ohne Kreditkarte bezahlen und der Preis war einfach top, ohne Kaution und mit Vollkaskoversicherung. Ich bekam einen noch sehr neuen Fiat 500x (ohne Schäden) mit 120 PS, elektronischer Handbremse, welche bei den steilen Straßen sehr hilfreich ist und ein Bordsystem mit integriertem Navi. Ich kann diese Vermietung absolut empfehlen!

Todo o processo de receber e entregar o carro foi muito simples. Quando chegamos o carro estava estacionado mesmo em frente as chegadas a nossa espera, na hora de partida foi só deixar o carro estacionado e entrar no aeroporto. Tive um pequeno toque com o carro, só tive de informar e não precisei de fazer mais nada para resolver o assunto.
I ordered and paid for Clio in turbo, got small and weak Fiat Panda instead. Then i was asked to pay in cash. On top of that I had to pay full tank in advance (even though I did not want and need it)... I mean it is still the cheapest car rental around, you should just be prepared to get low service :).

Bardzo dobra wypo yczalnia. Korzystali my w marcu 2019. Clio z litrowym silnikiem da o rad , koszt za 6dni to oko o 200 euro (w tym ubezpieczenie). Pan nie zmusza do podawania numeru karty kredytowej. Bardzo dobrze mówi po angielsku i oferuje miejsce parkingowe. Zdecydowanie polecam.

Har använt stort antal lokala uthyrningsfirmor i Europa. Denna är tveklöst bäst. Liten byråkrati, samma självriskkostnad som exvis Rent a Car, flexibel, ingen deposition, nyare bilar ofta extrautrustade

These guys are taking it easy. They are very friendly and warm, eager to give you some travel tips. Renting a car vas very easy, i just made an order in the evening and the next day in the morning, they delivered a car to my desired location on the other side of the island for a small reasonable fee. They dont ask for a credit card or deposit and there is no problem with droping the car at the airport after your trip. Very trustworthy company. No secret additional prices, the costs on the website are final, with all the insurances. Thank you MadLobos for helping us explore your beatiful country! :)
Sin duda duda una excelente opción para alquilar coche en Madeira, condiciones flexibles y no te buscan las cosquillas con tema de gasolina o de un posible rascazo pequeño para quedarse con la fianza (sin fianza) si vuelvo a Madeira reservaré con ellos, una gente super amable en todo, un 10.

They may be more expensive base rental than some of the big names but the full CDW is included in the price (and trust me, you WANT it in Madeira). The lady in the office was extremely efficient and from walking in to driving off was about 10 minutes. Also the child seats are free. It was about as Hassle-free as you can get and would use them again.
Perfekte Autovermietung in Sao Martinho! Ganz unkomplizierte Abwicklung mit Rundumschutz ohne Kaution. Sehr freundliche Betreuung die uns rund um die Uhr zugesichert wurde. Der Clio hatte zudem noch ein Navi, das sich als sehr hilfreich erwiesen hat. Die Autoschlüssel haben wir bei der Abreise einfach an der Rezeption im Hotel abgegeben. Bärig!!
Hier würde ich jederzeit wieder ein Auto mieten! Gute Beratung, einfache Abwicklung. Wir hatten den C1 eine ganze Woche und haben jeden Winkel Madeiras problemlos erreicht.
Excellent service. The cars are not expensive, fairly new and clean. Rented a C1 and it worked fine. I was helped well and quickly, no hassle. Recommended.
Goede en vriendelijke service. Duidelijk voordeliger dan anderen. Geen gedoe alles all in, controle deukjes, krasjes, beschadigingen niet nodig. Kortom een aanrader.
Une note de 5 étoiles sans aucune hésitation. Le personnel serviable et est revenu chercher le véhicule à lhôtel. La location de voiture sest opérée très rapidement. Notre choix (Citroën C1) nétait pas disponible le premier jour, nous avons donc eu le modèle au dessus (Renault Clio) durant la première journée. Un véhicule de base suffit amplement pour faire le tour de lîle. Les prix sont très démocratique, nous en avons eu pour un peu plus de 150 euros pour 5 jours.

I have rented cars in many countries and this was the most pleasant and easy experience I have ever had. A quick no fuss process and no attempt to sell add on insurance - all included! Carro alugado nesta empresa com entrega no aeroporto tudo como combinado e a horas. Rapidamente tratou dos papeis pequenos conselhos e siga lá fomos nós. A entrega foi sem a presença do representante da empresa apenas nos indicou onde deveria deixar o carro pronto ficou assim combinado. Ps: carro de 2017 tudo impecável. Obrigado pelo serviço prestado
Atendimento 5 estrelas. Preço acordado na reserva é o que é pago no final e sem surpresas. Outra grande vantagem é que é possivel pagar com cartão de débito sem deixar franquias nem outros esquemas. Aconselho vivamente

Very good experience: we had the good looking C1 for a week which is good enough to drive across the island (we had a paper map). Basic price includes full insurance, additional driver and unlimited mileage. Would rent from them again!

Very pleased with this car project company. Very friendly service. I rented a car for 10 days, without deposit. The car is 1 year old with 50,000 km mileage. The body and interior are washed before delivery. The opportunity was given to choose a car between Peugeot and Opel. I am very pleased with my communication with Abel. I recommend this company.

Rezerwowa em samochód drog mailow , negocjowa em cen i wszystko odby o si bez problemu. Samochód (nawet mocniejszy silnik ni chcia em) dostarczono do apartamentu punktualnie. Krótki instrukta bez specjalnego ogl dania samochodu. Szybko podpisa em umow , p atno gotówk . Karta kredytowa niepotrzebna. Dodatkowy kierowca w cenie. Pe ne ubezpieczenie. Po 5 dniach przedstawiciel firmy przyjecha po samochód do apartamentu znów bardzo punktualnie. Sprawdzi tylko poziom paliwa i ... odjecha . Formalno ci trwa y mo e 2-3 minuty. Nast pnym razem ju nie b d si zastanawia nad wyborem wypo yczalni. TYLKO MADLOBOS! Pozdrowienia dla Pana Abla.
