Booked a Toyota Yaris the day before, which was almost instantly confirmed, too. The car was in perfect condition, the pickup and the drop off was very fast, and the staff is friendly. Highly recommended!

We just had a great experience with them. Their rental prices include full insurance coverage including windshield and tires. This was important to us, as the last thing we wanted was to argue about a tiny scratch that might have been missed, etc. We all read or experienced enough bad stuff when the insurance didnt cover something. They bring and pick up the car to your preferred location, in our case the hotel in Funchal. They seem to be open to alternate pick/drop-off locations, I would just put it in the notes or call them. They were also flexible with the pick-up time because we scheduled a tour at the original scheduled pick-up time, so someone was able to pick up the car the evening before. Drop-off took about 10-15 minutes, pick-up a solid 2 (just checking the fuel level). Side note: unless you are used to driving in hilly areas (e.g. San Francisco, Alps, etc.) I recommend getting an automatic.

Very easy online booking process. Check-in was just as seamless. I liked that the price I paid included insurance which provided ease of mind. I booked an automatic economic car, which ended up being a Toyota Yaris hybrid. The hybrid aspect was great as I got to use a weeks worth of driving around the island on just one tank. To my surprise the car fared very well on the steep hills of the island and I never felt in danger while driving the car. Nuno who was operating the shop at the time was communicative and highly professional. He also provided insight to Madeira which was helpful. Would recommend 5/5.

David was great to work with, by the time we landed we already had a message from him that he was waiting at arrivals with our car. The car he provided was great for handling the really steep curvy roads. He was also very responsive when we wanted to add some extra days. Everything was easy with picking up and dropping off the car, he was waiting for us at the airport at departures to make the drop off easy too!

Booked online and the car was ready (and delivered) within 2 hours. The staff were excellent, the car was in great condition and was a smooth ride. No hassle, would definitely recommend

We had a great experience with Ondas! They met us at the airport arrivals with the car even though our flight was delayed and arrived late in the evening. Communication was very clear and kind. The car was the exact car that we requested and it was in perfect condition. Driving on Madeira involves lots of steep hills and wet roads, so having the right vehicle was very important. Great experience! Got the car right at the airport the moment we arrived. And since we had to drop the car off very early on the the day we left (had to catch the ferry to Porto Santo), we could leave the car at a local car park next to the port and they picked it up later. Staff is very friendly and responds promptly on WhatsApp. Highly recommend!

Hat alles perfekt geklappt! Wir hatten einen Fiat 500 Cabrio und können das Auto für Madeira absolut empfehlen. Übergabe war sehr unkompliziert und konnten die Schlüssel am letzten Tag am Hotel abgeben und das Auto wurde dort wieder abgeholt. Würden jederzeit unser Mietauto wieder dort holen.

We rented a Fita500 Cabrio. Everything was alright with the car and the staff very friendly. Changed the drop-off location on the last day and everything was done very smooth and fast. Just as an FYI, the Fiat500 is a great car it s just the fact that Madeira does have a lot of high roads and hills and the small engine of the Fiat is going to struggle for a little but this is not Ondas fault.

Great car rental! No deposit required, payment can be made in cash or by card, the price includes full insurance without any excess. We received the chosen car at our hotel, clean and nice, presented by a pleasant and not intrusive company employee. By the way, the car was a brand new Toyota CHR hybrid. Ive rented a car in March 2024. Everything was perfect! Rented car was brand new and delivered being clean with the full fuel tank. Credit card was not required and payment was made in cash, which was convenient for me. The car was delivered timely to my hotel as was agreed, as well as picked up from that place. We have rented Toyota Yaris car with Ondas company. Great experience, nice service and there is no deposit required! We enjoyed it a lot, the car is perfect for this island and quite economical in petrol usage.

First time renting at this fairly new and rather small company. You will get a WhatsApp call when youve landed where to meet for the car pick up. I booked the cheapest class and got a Seat Ibiza, with about 400km, so pretty new. I had to cut my stay short and leave a day early on short notice. I called the company on the day of departure to adjust the meeting time for drop off and they were very flexible. Drop off quick and smooth.

They have delivered the car to my hotel and picked up at my hotel aswell. No hidden costs and all in price really competitive! seat arona is perfect choice for Madeiran roads, especially automatic transmission did its job. Car was new (only 2,5k kilometers, almost factory new).

However, I must emphasize that with Ondas, you can have full confidence that everything will proceed seamlessly. They are a trustworthy company with a fleet of new cars perfectly suited for Madeiras terrain. The Yaris Hybrid performed admirably on steep hills and all other types of terrain. Had the car waiting for us in the airport parking, paid cash to Nuno and while he was preparing the contract, he even gave us some prescius local tips for restaurants and places to see around the island.
