We rented a Fiat Panda for three days on the island. Everything was perfect! From the first contact with the nice Ruben at the airport, to the delivery of the car. The car didnt cause any problems, it was very clean and it was also a hybrid car, so we used less petrol. I recommend this agency for your trip, and if I return to Madeira I will definitely call them!

Top Autovermietung, bei der sich Zeit für die Kunden genommen wird. Sehr einfache, schnelle und unkomplizierte Abholung und Rückgabe des Autos. Ausgesprochen freundliches Personal und gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Wir hatten eine teure Sonnenbrille im Auto vergessen, die uns noch am gleichen Tag ins Hotel zurückgebracht wurde. Das Autos auf Madeira rund rum verdellt sind ist nicht erwähnenswert. Was mich gestört hat war ein muffiger Geruch im Fahrzeug. Wir sind vom Vertrag zurück getreten als uns ein Kindersitz für unser 10 Monate altes Baby ausgehändigt wurde, welcher nicht eng genug eingestellt werden konnte für ein Kind, vermutlich weil die Einlage fehlte. Der Höhepunkt war aber die reperatur mit Kabelbindern an den Gurten, das ist fahrlässig. Wir haben dann ein Fahrzeug bei einem großen Autovermieter gemietet, dort wurde uns ein Premium Sitz ausgehändigt.

We left booking a car until the last minute. Prices were high, this wasnt the lowest but it was on the lower end. Reviews seemed decent so we took the chance. Very happy overall. We ended up with a little Smart car. A friend had just been in Madeira a week before and recommended using Sport mode in the car. There were a couple hills where this recommendation definitely paid off. Staff we dealt with were great.

We rented a Smart with automatic transmission and received the car on time right at the airport exit. The car performed well, and we drove 600 km across Madeira without any problems. However, I wish the windows had been cleaned before we picked it up. Driving to our first stop in sunny conditions was uncomfortable due to dirty windows and mirrors.

We have rented a Fiat Panda. The auto was delivered to our hotel, clean and with full tank of gas. The return went also smooth and we even got a ride back to our hotel from one of the staff members.

Great service! We rented a Smart in Madeira, the picking-up process was nice and easy, a polite assistant gave us the car and understandable instructions, everything was really good! We also took an optional insurance for lights, wheels and mirrors to feel safe for the whole period of rent. We didnt face with any problems, so I can definitely advice Rent-A-Car Madeira to every visitor of this paradise island :)

Service guys are cool, they have automated digital system for everything, no paper work, no fustration and all really went quick, you got copy in email about everything. Car comes with full insurance but at very good price so same one as not fully insurenced from others, no tricks, no suffering. I rented a small car(Renault Clio 75kw), it was in nice condition (some minor scratches but similar as all rental cars have). In Madeira you need minimum this powered car. Additional 2 plus: no advance payment(at time of booking), no debit/credit card blocking, and you can pay with debit card as well! Return also done within 5minutes so happy customer who will return one day!

I had a really great experience renting the car here. From the first step everybody was very helpful, answered all my questions quickly and explained me all the details. The company representative with the car patiently waited for us in the airport despite the flight delay and he was very nice and welcoming. The car was clean and in a very good state, like a new one, we have no problems with it at all. By the way, we rented 2-seat Smart car and I had some doubts that it will be too weak for all the heights and mountains in Madeira. The company representative reassured me and told that the car would be enough for everything. And he was right, it was perfect! It got fit everywhere, its really important on the narrow Madeira roads. Highly recommend this company, Ill definitely rent the car there again!

We have rented a small car for 9 days. We were picked at the airport with said car and the driver did all the paperwork there and gave us the car right away. Absolutely no problem, fast communication and amazing people not trying to delay anything. We had a small problem with returning at the right time, but we contacted them and we came to conclusion really quickly and it was great for both parties. Everything about the deposit is true, you will just pay for full insurance, but no deposit for driver over 24. When we will come back we know where we will rent again! Josef

El teníem assegurat a tot risc així que no vam patir per possibles ratllades o sinistres. La recollida i entrega molt fàcils i sense problemes. Lúnica cosa a millorar seria la informació els dies previs, nosaltres anàvem amb una mica dincertesa tot i que després va anar tot molt bé. Repetiríem.

I have used this company a few times and the service is always excellent. The cars are always in good condition and they have a good range of options. I wouldnt use any other company going forward. Buenísima empresa de alquiler de coches. Tras un estudio de todas las empresas de alquiler en Madeira nos decantamos por esta, porque habíamos leido muy malas críticas de empresas que se encuentran en el aeropuerto. La oficina se encuentra a 20 minutos andando del centro de Funchal, también puedes llegar en bus. Cuando llegamos, el coche estaba listo (Fiat Panda), la recogida fue rápida y la entrega todavía más. Cogimos los seguros, lo recomiendo. Madeira tiene muchas cuestas y curvas, y al coche le costaba un poco subir, pero en segunda marcha íbamos bien. Nada que no se solucione cogiendo un coche más grande la próxima vez...

Great service, booked car for next day, ACCEPT CARDS and NO DEPOSIT (yes, there are still some old fashioned rental agencies asking for up to 2000 eur deposit in cash, which is of course nonsense). Cars are new and clean, service was very friendly.

Két személlyel az autó zseniális, az automata az emelked k miatt er sen javalt, így mindenhova eljutottunk vele, legyen az bármekkora hegy. Fogyasztása kedvez , mellette még elég dinamikus is. A leadás kicsit nehézkesebb volt, de néhány telefonváltás után megtaláltuk a parkolót. Az ár kedvez , teljes biztosítást ad az autóra, ami sok esetben jó lehet.

I travel a lot and so always unsure of what to expect when it comes to rental companies ill start off by saying: We booked online and everything was exactly what we wanted, we booked a clio but got a vw polo but still great car, new with the needed infotainment and safety systems. Price did not change, it was all the same, delivered back as per instruction and therefore the contract was fully respected. Also want to say The young gentelman that helped me with the inspection was very professional, really great service all in all which made the Madeira trip very special. Thank you, will be back soon.

Très bonne agence de location. Les tarifs sont corrects, lagence na pas de comptoir à laéroport mais cest très simple, lagent vous attend à la sortie du terminal avec votre voiture et le retour se fait aussi très simplement. Gros point positif : contrairement à la plupart des autres agences, il ny a pas de caution à avancer et le contrat est sans franchise en cas de dégâts sur la carrosserie. La Clio que nous avions louée était en bon état. Après avoir beaucoup comparé les agences, je ne regrette pas mon choix et recommande cette agence.

Noleggiato auto per 6 giorni a Madeira, come da richiesta, ci è stata consegnata un Fiat Panda, ibrida che ci ha portato ovunque e con la quale abbia fatto il giro di tutta lisola praticamente. Super soddisfatti del servizio! Ci hanno consegnato lauto allaeroporto e allo stesso modo sono venuti a ritirarla là. Come abbiamo fatto noi consiglio di prendere l auto e aggiungere assicurazione vetri+ruote così siete totalmente coperti in caso succedesse qualcosa. Ultima cosa ma non per importanza, anzi forse la più importante e utile è il fatto che si può pagare il noleggio dellauto in qualsiasi modo si voglia, carta di credito, bancomat o contanti e si paga al momento della consegna e senza dover lasciare deposito cauzionale o dover fornire dati della carta di credito. Nachdem wir bei einer großen Autovermietung am Flughafen aufgrund einer nicht akzeptierten Kreditkarte leider keinen Mietwagen bekommen haben, sind wir zu diesem lokalen Anbieter gekommen. Und was soll ich sagen? Es war die beste Entscheidung! Der gesamte Prozess war unglaublich unkompliziert und schnell. Innerhalb weniger Minuten hatten wir unseren Mietwagen kein unnötiger Papierkram, keine langen Wartezeiten. Der Service war freundlich und professionell. First the positive parts. Easy and hassle free rental. All documents provided as digital per e-mail. Staff was friendly and fast. Made a reservation for a Smart fortwo Cabrio and for 10 am and soon got a mail that it would be available at 12 and a question if that was ok. I said it was. On the day of rental we arrived on location at 11 am and the staff said that the car would have been available at 10am as per reservation request. This was a a bit frustrating as we would have gotten on with our day and driving earlier. The car was a Smart Fourtwo Cabrio from 2018 with 98500km on the Odo. This is far from the experience with near new cars in other reviews. The car had some wear as can be seen in the pictures. It had quite some travel in the brakes and a bit more rear brake bias than I expected. It had a drive train engagement delay of some 2-3 seconds when pressing the accelerator, makes parking in steep angles a bit challenging. It had quite a bit of noise from the left rear wheel bearing. The key was falling apart. This was most likely a really fun car when new and drivable but not enjoyable. Tyres where in good condition. The price was ok but not cheap considering the condition of the car Edit 9.7 2024 Changing my rating from 3 to 4 due to the response from the company.

We rented a fiat cabrio 500 for 6 days, the comunication with them was very fast and simple. If you chose the insurance, no deposit required. The car was ok, clean and good for our trip. The price with insurance was 300 .

Great service. I recommend it. The car was good, like promised, and the staff was nice. The price is affordable and you really get what you pay and more. The car was waiting for us at the airport like we ve agreed and the last day we simply just left it at the airport. There wasn t any complications.

Alles top, kann ich nur empfehlen! Sehr nette Jungs, entspannte & professionelle Atmosphäre. Abholung & Rückgabe denkbar einfach & in 5 Minuten erledigt. Das Auto (Fiat Panda, hybrid, schwarz) war ideal für die allermeisten Straßen Madeiras, fast neu & in sehr gutem Zustand. Gerade der Hybrid-Motor hat sich bei Steigung & Gefälle wirklich ausgezahlt. Die Größe ist perfekt zum Parken & Wenden. Bei den sehr starken Steigungen in den Gebirgen der Mitte der Insel kommt das Auto auch bei zwei Personen allerdings schnell an seine Grenzen. Das liegt allerdings ausschließlich an der Leistung des sehr kleinen Wagens, nicht am Zustand. 90% der Straßen sollten mit diesem Auto aber gar kein Problem darstellen.

Great service. I was contacted by phone as soon as we had landed. The car was ready for us just outside as soon as we had picked up our bags, collection was easy and straightforward. Low mileage, manual, electric/petrol, Fiat Punto that was easy to drive. The roads are generally in good condition - a lot fewer potholes than in the UK! but steep and narrow in places. Just took our time and didnt feel rushed along, I pulled over occasionally to let locals pass if they were working/knew the roads and in more of a hurry than we were. Struggled on the hill climbs sometimes with only a 1 litre engine but I found a smaller car was otherwise ideal for the roads. I used google maps on my phone to navigate, maybe remember to take a phone holder for the dashboard, although we were provided with one. We had 11 nights stay and it was great to have a car to explore the island ourselves at our own pace. Really fun experience on a beautiful scenic island from the coast to the mountains with some amazing views. Phoned the guys when we were at the airport to return the car and they were straight there. Overall a great experience that was trouble free.

No issues at all. I got a WhatsApp message once we left the plane on where the car is. We went there, did the handover and payment, and we drove of. The car fully served its purpose. Handoff at the shop 8 days later was easy and quick as well. Only minor complaint, we made a reservation for a compact car (Renault Clio) and indeed got a Clio, but a Clio Grandtour (Station Wagon). I thought it would be an issue, because many people recommend smaller cars on madeira, but the car size was honestly no issue at all and we visited the entire island. The car was already a bit worn (112.000km, many dents, squeaky brakes), but got us everywhere with no issues. Would for sure book another vehicle if we return to Madeira!

Got lot of positive reviews on this but wasn t worth it. The car was not in the best condition, was given a Seat Ibiza but there seemed to be an issue with headlights, wipers were not working properly, smelled really bad while turning on the AC. Overall, it was easy pick up and drop services but they could ensure good condition of their cars

I have rented cars in most European countries, but this was the best and most hassle-free experience: no advance payment, no credit card blockage, and smooth coordination for pickup and drop off. I wish there were more such rental services. PS: I rented a convertible mini-cooper for one week and had no issues with the vehicle.

Hired a 150cc scooter from here. Was powerful enough to get me and the other half up all the hills! Apart from not realising they need driving license and passport it was seamless. Reserved it online to collect at 9am. Had the scooter by 9.30, which considering they open at 9am I thought was decent. No deposit needed and staff were helpful not trying to sell me anything extra. Was in perfect working order, and I didnt mind there was some scratches on the paint from previous users. Returned it with same fuel as started with was the only requirment, and they asked to return it around 30 mins before closing. Would use this place to hire from again.

A very pleasant experience. Payment made in cash, no deposit required. The car was quite good, I had opted for a car from the Renault Clio range or similar and I received a fairly new Seat Ibiza that could handle the roads there. I opted for full casco insurance for the entire period, so in the end I just returned the car, having the insurance, the only thing they were interested in was having the same fuel level. I made a reservation in advance, and when we got there everything was already prepared, the car was waiting for us. Very friendly staff. I recommend with confidence.

Außerdem kann man erwarten, dass ein Mietwagen Unternehmen bei Buchung mehrere Tage im voraus in der Lage ist ein Mietwagen bereitzustellen.

We rented two cars for our weekly stay. Upon arrival, the cars were already waiting for us. The formal procedure was minimal, which saved time. The cars were new and we enjoyed driving them. I would use this car rental service again next time Im in Madeira.

A noi è stata noleggiata una Seat Ibiza 1000cc con 60 cv e devo dire che qualche cavallo in più non ci sarebbe dispiaciuto, quindi se avete timore delle salite e volete evitare svariati minuti in prima (che per quanto mi riguarda fanno parte del fascino della vacanza, visto che le strade di Madeira sono verticali) chiedete indicazioni precise sulla motorizzazione (al tempo stesso eviterei auto di grandi dimensioni, che soprattutto nei dintorni di Funchal dove le strade sono più strette sono scomode e ingombranti). Precisi e veloci anche alla riconsegna. Tutto molto bene!

Nous avons loué une voiture pendant 4 jours avec rent-a-car Madeira et cétait top! Très bonne communication, personnel très réactif, que ce soit pendant la réservation et avant par mail, payement sur place, le prix convenu et la voiture prévue. La prise du véhicule sest passée très facilement et cétait aussi le cas pour le retour. De plus, étant un couple de tous les 2 24 ans, beaucoup dentreprise de location nous considère comme jeunes conducteurs ce qui nest pas le cas de rent a car madeira donc pas de frais supplémentaires. Je recommande totalement et si je reviens à Madère je relouerai chez eux !

I was very pleased with renting a mini cooper. The car had 15,000 km of mileage, but the brakes were new, this is important. The company is reliable and everything met expectations. I booked this car for the next period, I hope everything will be fine too. One of the previous drivers left a noticeable scratch. Be careful and dont rush, especially in city parking lots.

Car rental was very nice and helpful. Even after having a car accident, they supported us what to do and switched the damaged car to an undamaged one. Receiving the car and giving it back at the airport went really smooth as well. No deposit was needed.

In short: if youre looking for a not-expensive car for 1-2 days, you can use their service. If for 5+ days I would rather try another rent service. I want to start from the positive sides: - No hidden fees and payments. All financial details are clear from the early beginning. - Fast and easy to review available cars on their website, booking process was smooth. - We got the exact car model and configuration that was requested. - For 9 days of renting a Fiat 500 cabrio we paid ~300 euros, which is a good price. - Easy pickup process. Not so positive: - The inside of the car was pretty messy. Its ok for low-budged cars to not glow but in our one the steering wheel and controls did not want to let go of my hands, gluing them a little to themselves, which was not very pleasant. We solved this problem by simply wiping everything down with wet wipes and overall things got better. - The windshield wipers in the car were in terrible condition and simply smeared dirt across the glass. There was also no washer fluid, so we had to add it ourselves a little later. All of the above is generally solvable and can be ignored, which cannot be said about other problems: - Technically, the car was in poor condition, starting from a bad clutch in the gearbox, poor engine traction, and ending with the fact that within 9 days we received an error about checking the engine 3 times and some functions stopped working. This constantly disrupted our plans, because we didnt know how safe it was to continue using the car, so we had to cancel most of our plans for one of the day due to a breakdown. I contacted the support service with a request to replace the car, and they told me that there was no need to worry, it was just a problem with the electronics and it was safe to continue using the car. I was not offered a replacement even with my request and additional payment from our side. The next morning the error was gone, but we got it again a few hours later. I have wrote to support one more time, because I didnt longer feel confident in the car, given that the island is quite mountainous and I didn t want to completely stop somewhere on mountain serpentines or a highway. This time my request to replace the car with an extra payment was again ignored and they advised me not to worry...again I understand that the car can break down and this is normal, but it is very bad when in such situations this issue is not resolved in any way by the service and you are left alone with this problem ruining your vacation mood and plans.

I found the guys purely by chance, I don t have much driving experience, so I was worried and all that. I was traveling with my gf and initially booked a Renault on the website; the office offered us a powerful smart car. I had thoughts in my head about how a smart could be powerful, but we agreed, the car is small, it s suitable to fit into any turn)) in the end, the smart was very successful, it was very cool! we rented a car for 2 days and at the end of 1 day I didn t notice a huge stone, as a result the wheel broke, it was late evening, we were in the mountains about an hour and a half drive from Funchal, in the end passing motorcyclists helped us contact the company and through In 2 hours they changed our car to another smart one! which also had a panoramic window on top! In general, everything was prompt and cool and we didn t even have time to get too nervous! It s was a really amazing experience and I suggest for everyone these guys!

Einzigartige Zustellung direkt an der Ankunftshalle am Flughafen. Man muss sich nicht in der Schlange der Flughafen Mietwagenanbieter anstellen. Die Kollegen waren sehr nett und erklärten mir alles ausführlich. Das Auto selber war zwar innen etwas dreckig, vor allem die Sitze waren nicht mehr ganz sauber. Außen war das Auto bei der Annahme auch etwas dreckig, der Vermieter meinte es sei dem Wetter geschuldet. Mich persönlich hat das auch nicht gestört. Bei den 5 Tagen Mietdauer hat alles gepasst, keine Probleme, es war eine sehr schöne Zeit. Die Rückgabe war ohne Probleme. Der Vermieter hat sich nicht mal das Auto angschaut, einfach nur gesagt passt schon. So soll Auto Vermieterung funktionieren, vielen Dank an das Unternehmen. Ihr habt dazu beigetragen, dass man eine sehr schöne Zeit in Madeira hat! - Aufgrund des nicht ganz sauberen Autos nur 4/5 Sterne

Korzystalem z wypo yczalni bedac na Maderze. Samochod zostal podstawiony na lotnisko i zostawilem go rowniez na lotnisku pomimo tego ze nie maja biura na lotnisku. We rented a Fiat 500 for a week-long holiday. The team was incredibly helpful and friendly. They arrived at the airport earlier than we had scheduled to ensure we wouldnt have to wait and were always available and helpful whenever we had any questions. The car itself was perfect for the island - easy to park and navigate through the sometimes narrow, steep, and winding roads of Madeira. This little (only seemingly!) car handled them without a problem! It was fantastic to use, and we would not hesitate to choose the same car and rental service when we return to this paradise island

Wypo yczalnia godna polecenia. Mo e nie najtaniej, ale za to wszystkie mo liwe ubezpieczenia zapewnione. Samochód nowy i sprawny. Panowie prowadz cy wypo yczalni bardzo kontaktowi, mo na bez problemu porozumie si po angielsku. Warto skorzysta :)

La experiencia con el Rent a car fue excelente desde el principio hasta el final . Su página web es sencilla y los precios están claros . Para realizar la reserva no me pidieron ningún tipo de depósito ni garantía . El local se encuentra muy bien ubicado en Funchal, atendido por un equipo de chicos y chicas jóvenes . Nos atendió un chico (no sabemos su nombre) que nos atendió medio en portugués medio en español que fue extremadamente atento y servicial . En poco menos de 5 minutos nos había hecho el contrato , nos explicó lo necesario y nos entregó el coche . Excelente que pidió permiso a la hora de fotografiar mi documento identificativo y carnet de conducir . Sinceramente muy profesional. Alquilamos un pequeño smart for two automático para recorrer la isla la semana que estuvimos y resultó ser una decisión muy acertada . El coche tiene potencia de sobra para las montañas de la isla . A la entrega del coche nos atendió otro chico joven que con la misma profesionalidad y buena predisposición en pocos minutos revisó que todo estaba correcto. Sin duda es el rent a car que uno debe utilizar si está en Madeira

Großartige Autovermietung, bei der sich Zeit für die Kunden genommen wird und extra der gesamte Vertrag vor Unterzeichnung mit uns durchgegangen wurde. Sehr transparent! Keine Kreditkarte nötig, sondern auch Barzahlung oder Debitkarte wurden für die Kaution akzeptiert. Zudem sehr einfache, schnelle und unkomplizierte Abholung und Rückgabe des Autos. Ausgesprochen freundliches Personal und gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Wenn wir wieder nach Madeira kommen, würden wir direkt wieder dort buchen!

Sprawnie i bez problemów, auto zosta o podstawione na lotnisko, zwrot na umówiony parking, kluczyki do schowka. Panda nowa, bez problemu pokona a nawet najwi ksze wzgórza Madery. Dobry kontakt z wypo yczalnia.

Easy and simple process for renting a car Good value

Very smooth and easy rental experience. We picked up car in Funchal office, rode it for 7 days around the island and left it in the airport when we were departing. Definitely would rent here again next time!

Perfekt Service!

We rented a Fiat Panda for three days to drive around the island. Service was excellent and no deposit needed. Everything was done by just showing my driver s license and ID card. As for the car, I wouldn t get a small engine car if you re going to be driving in the mountains etc. Almost every hill requires using gear 2 to get up. Nevertheless, we got around nicely; even to the top of Pico do Areeiro in pouring rain.

Great and smooth service :) We had a cosy Fiat Panda. Everything went well, after our arrival we received our car on time, drop off was also easy and smooth. Car was brand new and in great shape.

Great service. Genuinely helpful and not too worried about scratches or exact petrol levels which made a pleasant change. Also kindly gave us a lift to our hotel when we were struggling to get a taxi. Would definitely recommend. Many thanks
