While being in Madeira, you have to rent a car to see this beautiful island. And when you do, you have to rent a car with an insurance that covers everything, just to be sure. We highly recommend to rent a car at this place. Nuno is such a cool guy. He made it so easy for us. We didn‘t have to worry about picking up the car or bringing it back. He brought it to our hotel and picked it up himself. It felt more like as is we were using a car of our friend, than renting it. He did all the paperwork very quickly. We were more than satisfied with the car rental. We booked through our travel provider. Mr. Rosa from the rental car agency brought the car to the hotel on time and we were able to pay easily with a credit card. There were also a few helpful tips for our island tour.

We rented a car through the travel agency; They brought him to the hotel at 10 a.m. At 10:15 a.m. we called the company, and with an excuse about a bicycle race, they said they would bring it at 12:00 p.m. The car arrived at 12:30 p.m. First, they didn't let us know that they were late...and we wasted the morning waiting. Second, to pay for the comprehensive insurance it had to be in cash, since they did not have a dataphone... without prior notice. Third, the man who brought the car and with whom we signed the contract was unkind; speaking in Portuguese (normal) but having to ask him 3 times to speak more slowly or tell us in another way because we didn't understand it. Zero effort in communication...feeling that we were not to their liking. No, I do not recommend this agency; disgusted And, what less than a little kindness/facilitating communication...for what it has cost: 307 euros for 5 days rent plus 75 euros for comprehensive insurance...

I recommend it. Mr. Paulo was our driver, friendly and made a point of showing us everything on the island, always concerned about our well-being and always with good tips. Congratulations.
