4&2 Wheels Rent em Funchal

Hatte einen VW Up für 10 Tage dort gemietet und war sehr zufrieden. Zum Auto: Der VW Up ist völlig ausreichend für die Insel, man kommt überall hin, hoch und runter. Ich habe die ganze Insel erkundet. Es ist zwar ein Schalter, aber dank automatischem hill-hold ist Anfahren am Berg völlig problemlos, was man natürlich oft machen muss. Der Verbrauch ist niedrig, trotz des dauernden Berg hoch, Berg runter. Dadurch dass er so kompakt ist, kommt man sehr gut überall durch und parken war nie ein Problem. Zum Verleiher: Völlig problemlos, man muss keine Kaution hinterlegen. Auch die Abgabe des Autos konnte sehr leicht geregelt werden. Bin insgesamt sehr zufrieden und kann sowohl Vermieter als auch Auto empfehlen für den Aufenthalt.

Very professional, helpful and fair

Very disappointing. We rented a scooter that repeatedly lost braking capability when going downhill. Despite being told this was normal and advised to take different routes, the brakes continued to fail mid-descent. This forced us to stop abruptly at one point, causing the scooter to fall on its side. The owner still withheld our deposit, despite the scooter s poor brake condition, which clearly compromised our safety and contributed to the incident.

Die sehr guten Bewertungen von 4&2 Wheels werden auch von unserer Erfahrung in den letzten Tagen betätigt. Wir hatten vorher schon bei einem anderen Vermieter (Sunny Cars) fest gebucht und auch (per PayPal) bezahlt, mussten dann aber kurzfristig stornieren, da der Vermieter für die Hinterlegung der Kaution unsere VISA Debitkarte nicht akzeptiert hat. War bei 4&2 kein Problem. Selbst, als das Gerät (aus welchen Gründen auch immer) auch meine beiden Debitkarten nicht lesen konnte, konnte ich mit einer Unterschrift unter einer Erklärung, dass ich die 499 Euro Kaution im Falle eines Unfalles selbst übernehmen würde, die Anmietung abschließen. Alles, was danach kam, war freundlich, pünktlich, ehrlich und professionell. Hinzu kommt, dass die Anlieferung des Autos zum Hotel anders als bei Sunny Cars nicht 35 sondern lediglich 20 gekostet hat. Außerdem hatten wir das Glück, dass das Auto eine Klasse höher (Seat Aroma) angeliefert wurde, als wir bestellt hatten. Das Auto war sauber, vollgetankt und den technisch einwandfreien Zustand. Alle Mietwagen üblichen kleinen Beulen und Kratzer waren akribisch festgehalten, so dass auch bei der Abholung keine Diskussion entstehen konnte. Deshalb vergebe ich hier gerne und guten Gewissens 5 von 5 möglichen Sternen und bedanke mich persönlich bei den beiden Verantwortlichen Pedro und João, mit denen die minutiöse Abstimmung via WhatsApp hervorragend geklappt hat. Bereits wenige Minuten nach einer gestellten Frage bekam ich eine passende Antwort.

Goede service en ontzettend aardig personeel. Gelukkig kreeg ik het advies een lagere motor te nemen ipv de motor, die ik in 1ste instantie had gehuurd.. En dat was maar goed ook. Het is er werkelijk prachtig motorrijden, maar ook heel steil en ik ben nogal klein, dus dat was een goede tip. Motoren goede kwaliteit en met koffers. Ideaal voor de helmen. Prima geholpen.

Helmet choices are bad, the whole experience was ruined even more at check out due to an error from the fuel meter of the motorcycle where I had to drive back to a gas station to jam in 0.75 euro worth of gas.

Fue muy paciente, porque tuve un contratiempo en el aeropuerto y tarde más de la cuenta. Aún así me espero y me recibió con simpatía. Y además de hablar inglés también habla español, así que la comunicación con él fue fácil y fluida. Todo salió genial, buena atención, simpatía y la moto estaba en perfecto estado. Location d une moto sur 2 jours (royal enfield hymalayan), le pneu avant était complètement dégonflé (je ne m en suis aperçu qu après niveau sécurité très moyen) (Peut-être l ai-je crevé après la sortie de la location et c est un malentendu mais je ne pense pas) Faites attention a bien cheker (je n ai pu utiliser la moto qu un jour sur 2 après m en être aperçu) et j ai dû payer 10 euros car je n ai pas pu aller faire le plein par sécurité. Sinon l équipe est très sympa et professionnelle.

Sehr zuverlässige, faire Autovermietung. Das Stadtbüro in der Rua erscheint einfach und unscheinbar. Fahrzeuge in hervorragendem Zustand. Habe hier bereits zweimal gemietet...Abnahme bei Fahrzeugrückgabe und Freigabe der geblockten Kaution auf Visakarte schnell und unkompliziert.

My boyfriend called spontaniously 4&2 Wheel Rent when we landed in Funchal. We immediately had great options. First we wanted to rent a motorcycle to explore the island and then we wantes to switch to a car later to do more excursions. We had the best of both worlds. The employees were super fast and friendly. They even gave us a list of their favourite restaurants and bars. The options were great. We asked to extend the car rent for one more day and they made it work which was really nice. At the airport the car rental prices are extremely high and double the price we paid at 4&2. We were glad that we decided to reach out to 4&2 and we will do it again when we visit Madeira again

2 royal enfields hier gehuurd voor een weekje. Konden meteen vanaf het vliegveld opstappen en hem ook weer droppen bij het vliegveld. Uiteindelijk wilde we Funchal nog ontdekken en konden we de motor daar ook inleveren wat top was. Motortje is enorm aan te raden, wij hadden helaas niet het beste weer maar het feit dat we bij elke hike vooraan konden parkeren was de regen meer dan waard! Mocht je veiligheid hoog in het vaandel hebben raad ik wel aan een eigen helm mee te nemen, en op het banden profiel te letten. Hier is profiel op de banden meer een illusie lijkt het, vergeleken met nederland. Desalniettemin, enorm genoten en komen zeker nog eens terug.

Sehr nette bemühte Leute, wir haben zur Hochsaison sehr spontan einen Scooter bekommen. Die Rückgabe war ebenso Problemlos. Achtung: Die Kaution von 300 wird bei der Debitkarte reserviert, also das Geld wird nicht abgebucht, ist aber nicht verfügbar. Ich hab bei meiner Bank nachgefragt und mir wurde mitgeteilt das die diese Kaution bis Ende des Monats reserviert wäre aber die Bank hat diese dann Storniert und dann war es wieder verfügbar. Anfangs war ich also verunsichert wann dieses Geld wieder verfügbar ist aber im Endeffekt wäre es nach der Zeit von selbst wieder zurück gewesen. Also alles in allem TOP.

Serviço impecável! Tive algumas dúvidas no site que me foram esclarecidas na primeira tentativa por contacto telefónico. Presencialmente o atendimento foi ainda melhor, incansaveis no que toca à entrega do equipamento de proteção, apesar do quão selectivo eu fui em relação, por exemplo, ao tamanho e tipo de capacete. A mota respondeu sempre bem e não se negou nas subidas aos miradouros. Apesar de algumas marcas normais de uso, aparentava ter as revisões em dia e tinha um pneu traseiro novo, do qual prontamente me alertaram para os cuidados a ter devido à goma, nota extra neste aspecto. Felizmente não precisei mas senti confiança caso fosse preciso algum contacto. Deixaram-me também à vontade para a eventualidade de querer estender o período de aluguer. Apesar de estar a ser atendido pelo Pedro (se me recordo do nome) estava presente outra pessoa que complementou o excelente serviço. Muito obrigado! Recomendo e voltarei a usar esta empresa!

Ho noleggiato una moto (Honda CB 500 X) per 3 giorni ed è tutto andato per il meglio. La moto disponeva di un supporto per il cellulare e di un bauletto sufficientemente capiente per contenere 2 caschi oppure uno zaino. Prezzi buoni con possibilità di noleggiare in loco una giacca da moto con un piccolo sovrapprezzo. Consigliato portarsi i propri guanti e soprattutto uno scaldacollo per laria. ATTENZIONE: per la cauzione è necessario essere muniti di una carta di credito (non debito, anche se internazionale) o in alternativa il versamento può essere effettuato anche in contanti. La sede si trova in centro a Funchal, è facilmente raggiungibile dallaeroporto e sono aperti anche domenica mattina! Il titolare parla italiano! Grazie

Perfect experience altogether! Extended my rental time (after short interruption) for another 2 weeks, since I found there is no better and funnier way navigating Madeira. The scooter was in perfect condition and a rather good one. The second time I got my scooter I didn t check for any damages - after one day I realised there was a scratch that wasn t there during my first rental. I think I had been given the same scooter as for my first rental period Thought that will give a big discussion when handing back the scooter as to what has happened and whose fault it is and stuff like that... But realised quickly that I am dealing with honest people and am not in .. (different) country anymore. :)

We rented the smalles (e.g. chepaest) car from 4&2 for only 2 days. The pickup was smooth and easy. The car was OK (Dacia Sandero Stepway) and we had no issues at all during the 2 days. The return on a sunday evening was also very smooth. Very friendly staff, good experince and good prices. Well rent again from 4&2 when we return to beautiful Madeira.

Everythings fine. We rented a 350 ccm Scooter. This was delivered to the hotel in canico and picked up again. We had a small accident with a broken mirror, everything was taken care of in an uncomplicated manner. If we will stay another time in Madeira, we will book again.

Fantastic service, I emailed about booking, requested a 20% deposit and that was it the bike was reserved. Nice easy communication. Chose the vstrom 650, great bike for these roads, came with a top box, phone mount and usb charger point which is brilliant planning from the owner as using any kind of maps will drain your phone battery super quick. I like the extra attention to know what your customers will want. Had the bike for 5 days, I emailed asking if I could drop off the evening before as I had a tour the next day for 9am so it was easier for me rather than rushing around and nothing was a problem. Great service and will definitely hire again from here if I visit in the future. Thanks

Im 20 years old and with an AM drivers license and a car, I wanted to rent a small scooter and here they had one that was perfect for me, even though its only 50, it managed to go up all the hills reliably. Good price, nice and fast service, definitely recommend.

Nach einer kurzen Einweisung konnten wir direkt starten. Die Rückgabe lief auch ohne Probleme. Preis/Leistung und Service stimmt, sodass ich eine klare Empfehlung aussprechen kann.

Excellent service, great value for money. The guys were very polite and fast both at pick up, as well as at the dropping off. We came to their office in Funchal on our own from the airport, the office is very easy to find. The bike we had also performed great, I was worried about the power and if it would be able to handle the steep inclines with two people but it turns out it was great. Excellent service, bikes & care. Rented a 125cc and 250cc on 2 separate occasions, always with the same care & quality. Had a minor scratch in second rental and they were very polite and fair.

Ein rundum Perfekter Service und preislich auch top! Wir haben einen Seat Ibiza für 1 Woche gemietet. Als Abholunsort haben wir den Flughafen ausgewählt, das kostet 30 mehr aber lohnt sich definitiv und würden wir jederzeit wieder machen! Man hat sich mit uns noch vor Abflug in Deutschland über WhatsApp in Verbindung gesetzt, um eventuelle Verspätungen berücksichtigen zu können. Angekommen auf Madeira wurden wir direkt am Ausgang mit einem Schild erwartet und zu unserem Auto gebracht. Bei Ankunft und Abreise waren die Mitarbeiter super freundlich. Das Auto war ein nagelneuer Seat Ibiza mit knapp 800km auf dem Tacho (man muss natürlich dazusagen, dass wir Anfang Juni da waren und somit die Saison noch nicht ganz begonnen hat) und allem pipapo (CarPlay, anfahrhilfe, etc. pp). Übergabe Protokoll war der normale Standard und hat ohne Probleme funktioniert. Eine so gute und freundlich Autovermietung habe ich schon sehr lange nicht mehr erlebt. Beim nächsten Besuch auf der Insel werden wir definitiv wieder Kunde.

Dit bedrijf werd aanbevolen door ons hostel. Aangekomen was er geen kleine auto beschikbaar, maar wel een grotere seat. Wij konden deze voor een verminderde prijs meekrijgen. Heel fijn dat met ons werd meegedacht en dat we alsnog met een auto het eiland konden rondrijden. Het was ook nog eens een splinternieuwe auto met een krappe 5000 km op de teller. Super!

I spent more than 2 weeks on the island. Can compare service level in number of restaurants, hotels and this renting office. I can assure you 4&2 are the best. They really know how to treat customer. I used motorcycle (650cc) and two cars. All vehicles in perfect order. They have everything: full face helmets, top cases, charging adapters... Collecting, paperwork and first instructions were easy, understandable and fast. Drop off at the airport was easy and fast, as well. I am fully satisfied with this service. Rad ji bych zvolil men í auto, s vy ím výkonem a automatickou p evodovkou (nap VW Golf 1.4 TSi), proto e Madeira nemá rovné trasy, po ád jezdíte do kopce, z kopce, samé zatá ky, tak e s manuálem se tady nebudete nudit, a stále budete adit mezi 1, 2 a 3 stupn m. Dávám 5/5 proto e jako p j ovna jsou skv lý a rozhodn je doporu uji. Ve své zemi jezdím s Audi A5 3.0TDi.

Aufgrund der guten Bewertungen haben wir uns für zwei Tage einen 125ccm Roller gemietet. Der Service vor Ort war sehr gut und das Personal sehr nett, sodass man sich direkt wohl gefühlt hat. Ebenso war die Zahlungsabwicklung sehr transparent. Bei einem kurzen Gespräch wurden uns auch direkt ein paar Tipps mitgegeben. Wir bekamen einen brandneuen Roller mit 69 Kilometern gelaufen. Nach einer ausführlichen Einführung ging es auch schon los. Mit dem wunderbar funktionierenden Roller konnten wir die Insel super erkunden. Besonders die inkludierte Handy-Halterung hat das navigieren über die Insel besonders einfach gemacht. Auch die Rückgabe des Rollers verlief einwandfrei. Die Kaution wurde direkt zurücküberwiesen. Das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis war sehr gut und ich würde bei einem erneuten Besuch der Insel nochmal hier einen Roller oder ein Auto leihen. Viele Grüße an die netten Inhaber von Marie und Nico!

Spontane Anmietung war problemlos möglich, freundliche und umfangreiche Einweisung. Schon vorhandene Schrammen wurden gemeinsam angeschaut. Die Rückgabe verlief genauso reibungslos. Die Kaution wurde direkt gutgeschrieben. Um die Insel zu erkunden, ist ein Roller sicher das beste Verkehrsmittel. 125ccm waren trotz Sozius für die steilen Bergstrassen ausreichend. Weitere Vorteile: keine Parkplatzsuche, keine Parkgebühr, geringer Spritverbrauch.

Wir sind via Google auf diesen Anbieter gestossen und waren überrascht über die überdurchschnittlich gute Bewertung. Folglich sind wir spontan vorbei und haben für 4 Tage einen Roller gemietet um die Insel zu erkunden. Zum einen empfehle ich allen einen Roller für die Erkundung der Insel einem Auto vorzuziehen und zum anderen möchte ich diesen Anbieter empfehlen. Es war alles sehr profisionell und unkompliziert. Wir wurden gut instruiert und auch die Abgabe lief problemlos. Ich würde sofort wieder hier einen Roller mieten.

Top Empfehlung um einen Roller zu mieten! Preis/Leistung waren hier wirklich klasse. Wir haben uns einen 125er Roller für 7 Tage ausgeliehen (inkl. 2 Helme, Hard Case & Handyhalter 140 ). Die Abholung sowie die Rückgabe waren einwandfrei. Beide male wurden wie sehr freundlich behandelt. Wir sind persönlich zum Laden gefahren und haben vorher nicht online gebucht (kleiner Tipp von mir!). Gesamte Buchung erhält von mir 5 verdiente Sterne!

We rented a car for 4 days and were glad we did! The rental process was easy and Pedro was very accommodating. He even offered to drive us back to our hotel after returning the car. Definitely a great way to see the island.

Mieteten ein Motorrad für eine Woche und waren mit allem sehr zufrieden. Das Bike war gut gewartet und in top Zustand. Es hatte genügend Power, zwei Personen über jegliche Steigung zu bringen und Motorrad sticht Auto hier sowieso, da die Straßen oftmals schmal und gut beparkt sein können. Das Team war wirklich freundlich und gab uns bei der Abholung hilfreiche Tipps zum Fahren auf Madeiras steilen Straßen. Abgesehen von den Tipps waren alle sehr freundlich und daran interessiert, dass wir eine schöne und sichere Zeit erleben. Zum Bike kamen zwei Helme und ein Backcase dazu. Es ist grundsätzlich unserer Erfahrung nach empfehlenswert, sich warm und wasserfest anzuziehen, da das Wetter schnell von Sonne zu Nebel umschwenken kann, vorallem in höheren Lagen. Das Backcase ermöglicht, die zusätzliche Kleidung entspannt zu verstauen, wenn s dann doch zu war wird. 10/10, freuen uns auf unser nächstes rental.

Wir hatten Anfang November für 4 Tage eine Suzuki V-Strom 650cc für ingesamt 136 bei 4&2 Wheels gemietet. Bei dem Preis war bereits eine anpassbare Smartphone-Halterung und ein Top-Case mit Platz für zwei Helme dabei. Manch anderer Anbieter verlangt dafür nochmal extra. Für einen Klapphelm und einen normalen Integralhelm haben wir noch einen geringen Aufpreis von insgesamt 5 gezahlt. Die (Größen)auswahl der Helme hätte etwas größer sein können. Da wir es mit der Schutzausrüstung aber ohnehin nicht so genau genommen haben, fällt das nicht groß ins Gewicht. Die Übergabe an uns verlief problemlos und schnell. Der Mitarbeiter markierte detailiert alle Vorschädigungen am Motorrad und wies uns auch darauf hin, dass wir auch gerne selber Fotos machen können. Das Bike mit 25000km machte aber nach wie vor einen neuwertigen Eindruck. Nun wirds interessant: Am zweiten Tag haben wir einen Schaden verursacht. Durch suboptimales Abstellen des Bikes in Hanglage und einer plötzlich auftretenden Windböe ist uns das Bike an einem Aussichtspunkt umgefallen. Handbremshebel teilweise abgebrochen, Hand-guard verbogen, Sozius-Tritt Halterung verbogen, evtl. auch Lenker leicht verschoben... Mir blutete das Herz und ich sah unsere 500 Kaution schon brennen. Nach einer Nacht drüber Schlafen, beschlossen wir gleich beim Verleiher vorbeizufahren und den Schaden begutachten zu lassen. Das stellte sich schlussendlich als den absolut richtigen Weg heraus; man lobte uns als gewohnt ehrliche und korrekte Deutsche und versprach man würde sich wegen der Schadenkalkulation zeitnah über Whatsapp melden, was dann auch am nächsten Tag geschah: Knapp 120 hat man für den Schaden verlangt, das Urlaubsbudget war gerettet. Die Abgabe des Motorrads verlief ebenso problemlos. Wir durften vor unserem Abflug sogar noch unser Gepäck im Laden verwahren. Ich kann 4&2 Wheels Rent uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Das wahre Gesicht zeigt sich ja oft erst wenn Probleme auftauchen und diese wurden von 4&2 Wheels Rent äußerst ehrlich und fair gelöst.

Rented in October 2023 a new car for 45 \day, on a Sunday, without a reservation: that is remarkable in and of itself. They even took care of paying a parking ticket, once I left the necessary cash. Charging goes by 24hrs spans, which is also convenient if you rent at midday like I did. Only CON: no offer of a kasko-insurance for accidental damages, for a higher premium: instead, 700 are booked on your card, so make sure to keep that in mind. Overall definitely recommend

The only way to see Madeira! I only wish I had more time here to fully explore. They have a range of bikes and the V-Strom is excellent with its torque and grunt in climbing some of these steep hills! The versatility and ease of the Suzuki to ride made this holiday truly memorable. Ask Pedro or Guilherme for a phone holder or USB charger for your phone too, they are happy to help. I highly recommend and will be using 4&2 Wheels again in the future.

I dont recommend it. We rented a scooter. I clearly asked if we could change the scooter to a motorcycle tomorrow and the administrator informed me that it would be possible without any problems, only a larger deposit would have to be paid. When we came the next morning to exchange the scooter for a motorcycle, I once again asked the administrator if it could be done. He took the schedule and said that it was possible, but after a few moments another man appeared and the administrator told me that the boss said that the suzuki motorcycle was rented. I asked if any other motorcycle was available, I was told no. Since our holiday was ruined because we didnt receive the motorcycle, we decided to return the scooter more than half a day earlier and, as we thought, there was more than one free motorcycle parked in the garage. It is very unpleasant that we were so deceived. We would be willing to pay more...

The pick up and drop off was excellent! The staff was friendly and contact via WhatsApp made everything really easy. We rented a car because of the positive reviews and were pleasantly surprised. Since we got the full ensurance, we didnt have to pay a deposit. The only thing we would change is that we rented a Dacia Sandero Stepway and if you want to go up all the small steep streets on the island, we would have preferred a car with a better motor (sorry not a native speaker). It was possible to get everywhere we wanted but not always easy

Es hat auch sehr gut geklappt zu Zweit auf der Royal Enfield Himalaya unterwegs zu sein. Lasst euch nicht von der PS Zahl täuschen. Die Kommunikation vor Ort hat sehr gut geklappt und der Preis war auch in Ordnung. Gerne wieder.

Haben für 5 Tage einen Roller Yamaha 300 gemietet auf der wunderschönen Insel Madeira. Der Roller wurde uns ins Hotel gebracht und auch wieder abgeholt. Alles lief super unproblematisch, Fahrzeug war in Ordnung nur die Bremsen waren etwas altersschwach. Der Preis war unschlagbar. Würden jederzeit wieder dort mieten.

I rented a 125 scooter and the motorcycle was great, good quality and enough power! Perfect service. You get it full with gasoline and return it full. The owner and staff are reliable and super friendly . Helmet was good as well. I really do recommend this company to everyone and would go there again the next time. Thumbs up!

Anmietung und Rückgabe verliefen absolut problemlos, auch wurden einem keine nervigen Zusatzversicherung angeboten. Hier können sich einige große Vermietungen ein Beispiel nehmen. Als Motorradfahrer kommt man schnell mit den Rollern zurecht. Sie bieten darüberhinaus sehr viel Stauraum, ein 6er Pack Wasser passt in das Helmfach

Wir haben uns zwei 125er Roller gemietet. Für die Insel ist es das perfekte Transportmittel. Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich und haben uns keine Versicherungen etc. abgedreht. Auch den dritten Helm konnten wir problemlos paar Tage später abholen. Auch die Rückgabe verlief reibungslos.

Location d un medley 125 pour une semaine à 210 . 440km plus tard, avec la montée du pico de Arieiro à deux, aucun problème sur les routes, et aucun problème à notre retour avec cette agence ! Aller-retour en taxi (30 /trajet environ) ou par le bus qui passe à 100m de l agence (5 ).

These guys were great, rang them Sunday later afternoon, needed a bike for the next day for the day, usually they wouldnt offer 1 day rental, nowhere else allowed us, but at a pinch they helped us out. Great little 125 and the service was solid. Thanks guys!

Lack of safety gear available. Be warned. Booked 2 months in advance and when arrived they didnt have M or L sized helmets for me and my girlfriend. The only ones available had no chin protection and looked cheap. If you do not know the roads you are driving, you must respect it. Had to cancel the bike and tried to work around it getting another company to lend its helmets. They flat out refused. Ride safe.

Abbiamo noleggiato per un periodo la v-strom 650, bella moto,comoda in due e completa di bauletto,facile da usare,con un motore sempre pronto in ogni situazione,molto apprezzato il notevole freno-motore viste le importanti discese e grande autonomia,ottima x fare tutto il giro dellisola,consumo medio con la mia andatura 17,8km/l. Nel secondo periodo noleggiata la piccola Brixton 125, ovviamente meno potente...ma agile e perfetta x i nostri spostamenti,ci ha comunque permesso di percorrere oltre 100km al giorno in due montati più zainetto (circa 170kg), consumo medio oltre i 35km/l. Entrambi i mezzi con comodissimo porta cellulare x la navigazione. Direi pienamente soddisfatto del servizio,i ragazzi sono gentili e sanno consigliare bene,senza contare i prezzi onesti,consigliati.

10 von 10 Sternen. Wir haben einen 125er Roller für 4 Tage gemietet. Anfangs waren 3 Tage geplant, aber eine spontane Verlängerung war telefonisch ohne Probleme möglich. Zuvor hatten wir bei einem anderen Anbieter gemietet, der jedoch deutlich teurer war. Wir haben hier ca. 33 pro Tag bezahlt inklusive 2 Helme, Versicherung, Freikilometer und Handyhalterung. Der Roller war einwandfrei und der Service super nett und unkompliziert. 300 Kaution werden auf der Kreditkarte geblockt, für den Fall dass was kaputt geht. Wir würden jederzeit wieder hier buchen und empfehlen jedem, der bisschen Erfahrung beim Rollerfahren hat, die Insel mit dem Roller zu erkunden.

Best option we could have chose in Madeira. Motorcycles are perfect for the often very narrow and steep roads, and 4&2 Wheels might be the very best place in Madeira to go for that. The motorcycle was in top condition and almost new, the conditions are very fair and the price is unbeatable. Should I return to Madeira, it wont be without 4&2 Wheels.

We have rented spontaneously on the day second day of our holiday for 4 days. It let us travel the whole island and take amazing photos and had a great experience. With almost 500km, after returning the bike it was inspected and deposit money has been refunded to my Revolut within 10 minutes. Great service.

Wir haben mit 3 Tage Vorlauf 2 Motorräder gebucht: hat alles super geklappt: sehr freundliche und unproblematische Abwicklung, sowohl beim Abholen, als auch beim Zurückbringen. Die beiden Jacken dazu sahen wir neu aus. Helme hatten wir wegen Gegensprechverbindung unsere eigenen dabei.

Spontan entschieden einen Roller zu mieten, hier, bei 4&2 Wheels Rent, überhaupt kein Problem, wir bekamen den gewünschten Roller, Yamaha 125er, nach kurzer Absprache via E-Mail zu uns ins Hotel gebrach. Wir wurden ausführlich Eingewiesen und konnten sofort starten. Ein riesen Dankeschön an den netten Besitzer, der den Roller eine Woche später auch wieder am Hotel abholte. Bei unseren nächsten Besuch mieten wir wieder hier. Preis- Leistung top.

Wir haben uns einen 300 ccm-Scooter für 5 Tage Woche ausgeliehen. Da es auf Madeira duechaus sehr steil sein kann würde ich für zwei Personen nichts schwächeres wählen. Wir haben direkt im Shop gebucht, sie hatten noch eine größere Auswahl verfügbar. Der Scooter war recht neu und in einem sehr guten und sauberen Zustand, Helme und Smartphonehalterung waren inklusive. Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich und haben uns den Scooter ausführlich erklärt und uns Tips gegeben wie man sich hier im Verkehr gut durchschlägt. Preis war gut (35 /24 h), Versicherungskonditionen in Ordnung (300 Selbstbehalt, die als Kaution einbehalten werden). Zahlung ist bar und mit Karte möglich, Rückgabe ging flott und reibungslos. Fazit: unbedingt zu empfehlen!

Sehr zu empfehlen! Ich miete 3 bis 6 Mal im Jahr Autos oder Motorräder/Scooter und kann vergleichen. Die Firma 4&2 war sehr gewissenhaft bei der Fahrzeugübergabe. Das habe ich so noch nicht erlebt - wirklich vorbildlich, wie das Motorrad noch mal erklärt wurde. Moderne Bikes obendrein, auch für kleine Fahrer, Frauen oder Anfänger. Uneingeschränkt zu empfehlen. Preislich fair.

I was waiting for the owner 40 minutes on the street as the opening schedule he submitted at Google Maps didnt meet the actual opening schedule. He was unavailable by mobile but I waited as at the door he left a note I ll be back in a moment . When the owner came, he told me he cannot rent me a scooter as I have a B driving license and too little experience, although the information on the internet site was that B license, 25+ age and one year experience is sufficient to rent both 50cc and 125cc scooters. A complete loss of time during my short stay in Madeira...

I can absolutely recommend 4&2! The have excellent service and are very nice and responsible people rented a 125 scooter for a week (they work with Honda and Yamaha). BE CAREFUL: you really need to have good experience in driving a heavy 125 scooter! This will be the first question they ask! Also, you have to be 25 and need a european B drivers license for cars to ride the 125ers here in Madeira. The roads are steep and driving is dangerous. I had a scooter accident and needed to return my scooter. Even in this case Daniel & his colleague had been very nice and asked about my well-being and acted very very responsible. If you want to rent a scooter - go there

Bei der Abholung wurde ich darauf hingewiesen, dass ich mir die Zeit nehmen kann, Fotos vom Fahrzeug zu machen, um seinen Zustand zu dokumentieren. Die (etwas verfrühte) Rückgabe lief dann auch zügig und reibungslos. Wenn ich mal wieder auf Madeira bin, werde ich diese Verleihfirma gerne wieder nutzen!

However, you have to be very careful, as the mountains here are very steep! Experience is very well appropriate. Value for money is also very good. Would come back any time. Highly recommended!

Wir haben vor Ort einen 125er Yamaha N-MAX gemietet. Der Roller war mit Top Case und Handyhalterung ausgestattet, was für die Navigation auf der Insel sehr praktisch war. Mit dem Roller konnte man (auch zu zweit) jede noch so steile Straße auf Madeira erklimmen. Der Verleih war sehr unkompliziert und sehr seriös, alles wurde bestens erklärt. Preis-Leistung ist hier sehr gut. Wir würden jederzeit wieder einen Roller hier leihen.

Wir können 4&2 Wheels Rent nur weiterempfehlen. Wir konnten 2 mal ohne Probleme unseren Roller verlängern und durften am Ende den Roller für einen halben Tag kostenlos weiterfahren.
