I rented the Yamaha XSR 125. Its a nice little motorbike. Its possible to pick up the bike in Machico as well. Reservation is simple and straightforward. Staff is really pleasant. Prices are good also. I can only recommend this place for renting a bike or scooter and explore the island. Ich habe die Yamaha XSR 125 ausgeliehen. Nettes kleines Motorrad. Fährt auch schon mal 120 km/h . Man kann das Motorrad zu einem Pick-up Point in Machico liefern lassen und es dort abholen. Reservierung sehr unkompliziert. Personal sehr freundlich. Kann ich nur empfehlen um mit dem Motorrad oder dem Roller die Insel zu erkunden. Preislich auch top.

Je me suis donc rendu sur place et jai été très bien reçu, je voulais un modèle de moto bien précis qui nétait pas disponible le jours même, cela ne posais pas de problème car je comptais louer pour le lendemain. Dimitri ma dit que la moto serait disponible le jours que je souhaitais et en quelques minutes la réservation était faite. Le jours de la récupération et du rendu de la moto tout à été fait rapidement et efficacement. Je recommande ce magasin, ils sont professionnel et donne de bon conseils. Hat alles super geklappt. Sehr freundlich und gute Einweisung. Jederzeit wieder! Wir haben zu zweit einen 125er Roller gemietet. Wir hatten erst Bedenken, ob dieser mit 2 Personen für die Berge genügend Power hat. Wir kamen aber problemlos überall hoch. An sehr steilen Stellen war bei 35kmh Schluss, hier sollte man aber eh nicht schneller fahren. Auch auf der Autobahn ging es mit 80-90kmh gut voran. Ich kann Madeira mit dem Roller nur empfehlen, wenn man die Insel nicht komplett umrunden möchte. Bonus: überall kann man in der 1. Reihe parken. Bei vielen Wanderungen sahen wir Hunderte Autos sonstwo parken, wir konnten stets direkt vorfahren.

We stayed in Machico at the hotel Dom Pedro. Me and my boyfriend like activities so we rented a scooter from these guys. They have the best prices in the island! Service is amazing. Wanted to rent a scooter for a day on Sunday and they were open, which is not typical for Portugal at all. As they were open till 6pm I left the scooter on their parking at 9pm and they returned me the deposit next day when they checked the scooter. Note though that they are checking scooter very thoroughly for any body damage before and after the rent, and can charge you a fee (which is a lot!) even for a damaged part which you damaged second time. Fortunately I didn t run into any accidents.

Wir hatten ursprünglich einen 125er Rolle gemietet, der uns am Flughafen Funchal übergeben wurde. Der Kontakt verlief sehr freundlich. Es traten beiderseits gleich Bedenken auf, dass der Roller nicht für uns geeignet wäre, da wir einen großen Reiserucksack und Handgepäck dabei hatten, was das Fahren erschwerte und fast nicht möglich machte. Uns wurde direkt angeboten, dass wir jederzeit vorbei kommen können um uns ein anderes Fahrzeug auszusuchen. Das taten wir man zweiten Tag unserer Reise auch. Wir haben sehr nette Beratung erhalten und das richtige Fahrzeug für unseren Trip gefunden, wodurch wir unsere Reise besser genießen konnten, da wir gemerkt haben das es mit dem 125er Roller doch etwas schwer geworden wäre. Wir bedanken für die nette Begegnung und den tollen Service. Können es gerne weiterempfehlen hier zu mieten.

Twice in 2023 I have had a great experience working with Crazy Snail in Madeira. I rented a Honda PCX 125 for 4 weeks in March and a 350 Forza over September/October. They maintain their scooters in good condition, their prices are competitive and I found Dimitri to be very personable and a pleasure to work. I can highly recommend this outfit.

First of all, I must thank you for your kindness and for communication and organizing through the Whatsup application with employees and their excellent approach and help with any kind of advice, even outside their domain. We rented a Yamaha XSR 125 at a price of 33 Eu per day + 10 Eu for the passenger / helmet. The deposit for this motorcycle is 300 Eu which is eventually returned and it covers all material damage done to the motorcycle and cannot exceed that amount. The price includes gloves and a jacket that you definitely need for safety and if you decide to go to the highest part of the island of Pico do Arieiro, which is located about 1800 meters. Also every motorcycle has a very functional mobile phone holder that works perfectly simple and it is impossible to imagine a trip to an unknown island without it. With this motorcycle we made approximately 250 km and we went everywhere on the island in just 2 days. With a consumption of only 3.0 L / 100 km and a 6-speed engine, showed a very high quality engine and although small volume (125cc) you will feel with the passenger on the great hills of Madeira but you will not be bothered on fast roads where you can easily reach 100-110 km / h without any problems. I definitely advise everyone to arrange a motorcycle rental 2-3 days in advance.

Jai loué cet été un pcx Honda 125 pour une dizaine de jours à ce loueur, je nai eu aucun souci, le scooter était bien entretenu et assez neuf (5000 km), les casques de qualité et sécurisants... Le lendemain de la restitution du scooter, ma caution était remboursée. Dimitri le gérant est très sympa et réactif, je recommande donc sincèrement sa société !!!

Wir können Crazy Snail komplett empfehlen. Wir hatten aus Deutschland einen 125er Roller gemietet und dieser war zum vereinbarten Zeitpunkt an Ort und Stelle. Der Roller war in bestem Zustand, Bj. 2021 und die Helme waren ebenfalls gepflegt und in verschiedenen Größen vor Ort. Besonderen Dank möchten wir Dimitri sagen. Wir hatten in der zweiten Urlaubshälfte bei einem anderen Verleih einen Roller gebucht, jedoch war dieser in schlechtem Zustand sodass wir uns damit nicht sicher gefühlt hätten. Also kurz Dimitri kontaktiert und innerhalb von einer Stunde konnte er uns einen modernen, sicheren und gepflegten Roller besorgen. Also long Story short...immer immer wieder! :)

Alles perfekt. Haben am Abend vorher spontan 3 125er Roller gemietet. Vermieter war extrem flexibel und wir konnten unsere Roller am nächsten morgen 300m von unserer Unterkunft abholen und abends wieder zurück bringen. Preis ist unschlagbar und es gibt keine versteckten Kosten. Gerne immer wieder. Wir können Crazy Snail wärmstens weiterempfehlen!

Madeira mit dem Motorrad erkunden kann ich nur empfehlen! Und dann auch noch ein wirklich super netter Vermieter und eine total unkomplizierte Abwicklung. Wir hatten eine 125er - darf man auf Madeira mit Führerschein Klasse B und 3 Jahren Fahrerfahrung fahren. Das Motorrad war wie neu, lässt sich super fahren und kommt auch die steilsten Straßen hoch (und davon gibt es viele auf Madeira). Wer noch am zögern ist: Ich kann es euch nur empfehlen!!!! Erst so lernt ihr Madeira so richtig kennen

Very good experience and great rental motorcycle! Only small issue that I had with Crazy Snail was that the owner didnt come in time to the drop-off location, luckily this didnt matter too much for me but might cause an issue for someone else with a tighter schedule. In our case there was some issue with messages not being received via Whatsapp so perhaps just a techincal issue rather than issue with Crazy Snail.

I rented a 125cc bike for 10 days to use for exploring the island and it was perfect. The machine felt like it was very well kept and I got to see many more things than I wouldve been able to otherwise. The rental process was super painless as well. And Dmitry was always available when I had questions via phone. I can wholeheartedly recommend renting a scooter here.

When you feel comfortable with a Scooter or a Bike then you should rent one instead of a car. Its so much cooler and better to discover the whole island. Even in the winter month and a week with a lot of rain and wind, it was a nice experience. Dimitri is a really good guy! Price-perfomance is great. We will come back.
