Als wir das Auto bekamen wurde uns mitgeteilt, dass neue Bremsen eingebaut wurden und daher im Auto etwas vom Geruch eindringen kann. Leider war es so, dass es beim Bergabfahren fürcherlich stank und auch rauchte, sodass wir ab und zu stehen blieben, da wir fürchteten die Bremsen würden nicht mehr halten. Das blieb auch noch nach einer Woche. Wir machten den Verkäufer zum Schluss darauf aufmerksam, aber er vermutete nur, dass wir dauernd am Bremspedal standen. In Wirklichkeit sind wir mit dem ersten Gang den Berg hinunter und trotzdem rauchten die Bremsen. Ansonsten war es ein relativ neues Auto (16.000 km, warum da schon neue Bremsen wussten wir auch nicht) mit guter Ausstattung und auch das Fahren war angenehm (bis auf die Bremsen). Da wir bergab Angst hatten fuhren wir allerdings nicht so oft wie geplant und mieden zum Schluss auch die hohen Berge. Abgesehen davon hat aber alles geklappt.

Sam samochód by w bardzo dobrym stanie i dobrze radzi sobie na stromych maderskich drogach, a by y to najbardziej strome drogi ze wszystkich, które w yciu widzieli my. Dobrze sprawdzi si dla 4 doros ych osób. Tak e jak najbardziej polecam wypo yczalni :)

Experiência muito positiva pelo que recomendo a 100% esta rent-a-car! À chegada aquando a entrega da viatura explicaram-nos os procedimentos e cuidados que deveríamos ter ao circular pela ilha. Como contratamos o seguro completo de danos próprios, seguro SCDW (altamente recomendável) andamos mais descansados e não nos foi aplicada qualquer caução ou franquia.

Went to rent a scooter and was denied for not enough experience. Told him I have lots of experience driving in Asia and in the mountains, his response was: Not enough. Asia is flat Wonder if he knows Mt. Everest is in Asia . Didn t get a scooter, but 1 star for the hilarious story I now get to share Edit for response: 1. He didn t ask if I had a motorcycle license so you don t know that 2. He didn t ask how long I was in Asia so you don t know that either 3. I also have dirt biking experience in my own country, but again, he didn t give me a chance to tell him that The man working denied me as soon as I walked up, and I tried to tell him about the lots of experience I have, especially experience on windy steep roads, but he refused to listen to me. This wasn t about safety, this was about an extremely rude staff member.

Kamen ohne Reservierung und bekamen direkt das Motorrad was wir wollten. Schnell, professionell und zuverlässig. Das Motorrad war neu und fuhr sich super. Die Abgabe lief ohne Probleme. Preise sind absolut in Ordnung!!

Nous avons loué une voiture avec Renting Madeira et tout s est bien passé. On a pris une Dacia Sendero en boîte automatique : hyper pratique pour conduire sur les routes difficiles de l île. La voiture était assez puissante pour monter, assez haute pour certaines routes escarpées et hyper simple à conduire avec la boîte auto, un vrai confort. L équipe était à notre disposition, à l écoute et de bons conseils. Pas de problème pour rendre la caution en fin de location. Je recommande.

Très bonne expérience avec Renting Madeira : véhicule impeccable très propre et en parfait état, siège bébé nickel illico adopté pour la sieste de notre petite. La remise des clés et le retour se sont fait en un rien de temps, malgré un tout petit peu d attente à l aller, normal en période estivale. Nous étions 3 + 1 bébé dans une Seat Arona, très bien pour grimper les côtes de Madère, mais peut être un poil juste niveau place du coffre pour les bagages ! En tout cas tout parfait, on recommande +++ Merci !

Hemos alquilado por una semana un Seat Arona, y todo muy bien. El coche limpio, con algún arañazo de aparcamiento to, pero que ellos te lo indican y te dicen como actuar si tienes algún percance. Una empresa confiable y con un buen precio. Sin duda, si volvemos alquilaremos con ellos.

We rented with my friends 3 motos : the crf450, the vstrom 650 and the cb 500x. They were very recent and in excellent condition. The personal is very nice and helpful. I recommend without any hesitation !

Wir haben einen 125ccm Roller für zwei Tage gemietet. Der Verleih ging schnell und unkompliziert. Der Roller war in super Zustand, zwei Helme und Handyhalterung waren inklusive. Der Preis war absolut fair und bei der Rückgabe gabs keinerlei Probleme. Wir würden das Angebot jederzeit wieder nutzen!

EXCELENTE Sevicio y Comunicacion en español. A finales de Junio alquile un coche durante cuatro dias. Me entregaron un coche con 2000 kms el dia, hora y lugar (hotel) que yo indiqué, con puntualidad y RAPIDEZ , tanque gasolina lleno. La Devolución se desarrollo de igual manera. Al tener Seguro Todo Riesgo nó tuve que dejar depósito. Al realizar la Reserva aboné el 20%, al recibir el coche el 80% según el precio acordado inicialmente. Inicialmente contacte con Sr Fillip, la entrega del coche con Pedro ambos respondieron mis preguntas satisfactoriamente. Empresa totalmente RECOMENDABLE.

We rented a scooter here for one day , this already nice of them since normally they do not rent it for 1 day. During this day we did create some damage to the bike and we thought we had to pay a lot. But they were realy nice and only asked a reasonable amount of money for the damage, because there were already some scratches on it before we rent it. Beside that they were happy that we were not hurt. In short: really nice people, not expensive and will not rip you off in case you create some damage.

I rented a 125cc scooter from this place, and although the scooter was slightly damaged, it performed excellently. Initially, I had reservations about the location, as it didnt seem too inviting, but my concerns quickly faded away. The staff appeared friendly and, most importantly, very professional. Overall, a solid experience despite initial doubts.

Dieser Motorrad-/Motorrollerverleih hat faire Preise, eine gute Auswahl an qualitativ hochwertigen und gut gewarteten Zweirädern, freundliches Personal und liegt zentral in Funchal. Ich habe vorher nicht reserviert oder angerufen und es war zum Saisonübergang ausreichend Auswahl vorhanden. Wir hatten mit dem Maxi-Scooter Yamaha XMAX 300 eine Woche richtig Spaß und gerade bei engen, steilen Gassen und geringer Parkplatzanzahl ist die Entscheidung für ein Zweirad die richtige gewesen. Wenn wir wiederkommen, leihen wir hier wieder ein Fahrzeug aus.

EPIC AND HONEST, TOP CLASS! Rented a motorcycle from here for three days so that we could ride around the island and explore. Zero problems encountered, the owner was extremely honest and trust worthy. The bikes didn t disappoint either, great condition and super safe (not one single problem encountered, tyres were also in fantastic and safe condition). I hired the Suzuki V-Strom 250, perfect to get around the island, the twists and turns were absolutely delicious! Fully recommend as a motorcycle bike hire in Madeira, I will use again when returning for sure. Thank you for an awesome service and for being so amazingly honest and trust worthy (if only all hire companies could be like you!)

The team seemed very friendly and helpful, but the entire scooter rental experience in Madeira left a bitter taste. I booked a Piaggio Beverly hoping for a powerful scooter to conquer the hills, but it stopped working shortly after picked up (thanks that we were at office, choosing another helmets). I understand that technical issues can happen, but providing people with a knowingly faulty vehicle is negligent, irresponsible, and simply disappointing. If this model wasnt available, I would have easily booked from somewhere else, considering there are plenty of rental options in Madeira. Moreover, the staff said that the 125-horsepower scooter could handle the hills, but achieving only 20 km/h uphill and 40-60 km/h on the highway is not what you expect.

We needed an offroad capable vehicle to do some safaries of our own and not many rental servises here have even the basic 4x4 models available. These guys however came up with Polaris tractor quad that was awesome for local style of offraoading. With rear, central(and front) locks and enough power to make the thing that weighs less than a proper pint of lager easily accelerate even on the steepest climbs here you would be having a hard time getting that thing stuck even if you tried. And the service was very pleasant and staff extremely nice. Got a good tour of the vehicle and no nonsense just nice clear instructions: Dont drive into the ocean and if you get it covered in mud wash before you return it. :)

Top business. We rented 2 vehicles for a week in Madeira. The attention and customer care are the best so far of all car hire experiences worldwide. The cars were both latest tech with Android Auto and Apple Car Play and despite being 1000cc went up the mountain roads with ease enabling full coverage of the sights of the island.

Ich habe hier für 16 Tage eine Suzuki V-Strom 650 DX gemietet, dazu habe ich den Transfer vom Flughafen zur Ausleihstation und zum Hotel und das Ganze vice versa zurück am letzten Tag gebucht. Alles hat absolut zuverlässig und super geklappt, die Kommunikation im Vorfeld bei der Buchung, aber auch vor Ort, der Vertragsabschluss selbst, die Einweisung und die Verabredung via Whatsapp zur Abholung vom Hotel. Das Motorrad war in einem sehr guten Zustand, die Bremsen waren top, ich hatte wirklich sehr viel Spaß mit der zuverlässigen und robusten Maschine. Die Rückgabe hat super geklappt, der Leihhelm ist mir leider heruntergefallen, worauf Kratzer an diesem zu finden waren. Das hat man sehr kulant gehandhabt. Ich werde hier immer wieder mieten, die Preise sind sehr fair und das Team ist zuverlässig, kulant und freundlich. Meine Empfehlung! Herzlichen Dank auch an das Team, mit euch wurde es möglich, diese schöne Insel mit seinen freundlichen Menschen auf außergewöhnliche Weise zu erkunden. PS: Zuguterletzt habe ich noch meine Jacke noch in der Leihstation vergessen, was ich erst am Flughafen realisierte. Diese hat man mir anstandslos vorbei gebracht. Vielen Dank!

Von Reservierung bis zum Abgabe hat alles super geklappt. Die Suzuki V-Strom 650 war im guten Zustand und hat mir zwei Tage viel Spaß gemacht. Sehr netter Team mit einem Boss der sogar etwas deutsch spricht.

Wir haben hier eine Suzuki V-Strom 250 für vier Tage gemietet. Der Vermieter war sehr freundlich und flexibel und das Motorrad war in einem guten Zustand. Auch mit Sozius gab es in den Bergen keinerlei Schwierigkeiten. Beide Helme, die wir vor Ort geliehen haben, passen ins Topcase. Würde wieder hier ein Bike mieten.

Great bikes with high quality tiring, smooth clutch and breaks (V Strom 250cc). They made this trip to Madeira a whole lot greater. Definitely recommended!

I chose this company because when comparing some of the others, this firm came out cheaper with the free day I got for the extended rental. Unfortunately, I had a minor accident with the scooter, breaking off the mirror as well as the wand that attaches it to the bike. The company was great about this and treated me brilliantly, they were also able to repair the part for a good price. Finally, you can leave the scooter overnight just down the street from their office (central location), which will save money in parking fees. By scooter is the ONLY way to explore Madeira and if I ever return then Ill be using this company again.

I was waiting for the owner 40 minutes on the street as the opening schedule he submitted at Google Maps didnt meet the actual opening schedule. He was unavailable by mobile but I waited as at the door he left a note I ll be back in a moment . When the owner came, he told me he cannot rent me a scooter as I have a B driving license and too little experience, although the information on the internet site was that B license, 25+ age and one year experience is sufficient to rent both 50cc and 125cc scooters. A complete loss of time during my short stay in Madeira...

We had two great rental cars for a really good price. Collection and dropoff was very smooth. They are very communicative and flexible when you talk to them on the phone. Just be on time for the collection otherwise they may give your car to other client (its very busy with the rentals in Madeira at the moment).

Habe einen 125er Piaggio Scooter gemietet. Der Roller ist nagelneu und dementsprechend in einem super Zustand gewesen. Ich empfehle mind 125ccm Roller zu mieten,da man damit auch auf die Schnellstrassen darf(VR..) anderseits ist die Leistung für die Berge hier angemessen. Top Service und nettes Personal. Empfehle ich definitiv weiter!

Totally recommend the rental agency! I rented a car during my stay on Madeira Island for 4 days (Dacia Sandero). The car had few scratches, but no major damage, and the owner, Jose, was very honest, precise, straightforward and easy going in the whole process. The only drawback was the communication via email. The answers were fast, however not always full (out of 2 questions only one answered). But you can easily call the agency and they will be happy to answer all your questions. The office itself is fine, and the price that we got was very competitive. It was a real pleasure and stress-free experience that I can fully recommend to other clients :) The deposit was refundned after few days - very fast. Thank you once again!

Dieser Rollerverleih ist absolut zu empfehlen. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit. Während unserer Miete ist uns ein Autofahrer an der Ampel hinten auf uns drauf gefahren. Wir hatten sogleich Fotos gemacht, auch von der Versicherungsnummer in der Windschutzscheibe und wir haben dann sofortigen Ersatz unseres Scooters erhalten und der Fall wurde sehr zuvorkommend vom Verleih aus behandelt. Aber: Madeira ist für Zweiräder ein sehr gefährlicher Ort. Die VR1 gen Osten ist bei starkem Gegenwind lebensgefährlich. Ich habe 30 Jahre Zweiraderfahrung, auch mit Scootern und bin wirklich an meine Grenzen gekommen und habe die Autobahn VR1 immer dort umfahren, wo wir es konnten. Es gibt keine Auffahrstreifen und die LKWs fahren sehr schnell, dicht auf und erzeugen auch sehr viel Windbewegung, was sich auf einen Roller mit sehr kleinen Rädern stark auswirkt. Menschen die nur PKW Erfahrung haben, sollten mit einen Roller nicht auf die VR1 fahren. Das ist lebensgefährlich.

I highly recommend. Personnel is really helpful and friendly. Car was in good shape. Deposit on card is returned right after returning the car (after personnel finishes inpecting the car for any eventual damages), so theres no room for additional fees after the renting period.

We rented a car very quickly, with no additional problems. The contract, the terms are very clear. The staff was very helpful and our car was well prepared to go. We had a lovely holiday driving around Madeira and then we returned the car with no problems at all.

I rented a bike for 12 days. After two days ther electrical system on the only 6 month old bike broke down!! I won´t blame them for that, they have wellmaintained bikes. I was 40 km from Funchal, in 45 minutes I was picked up, back to the shop, where they gave me a much better bike in stead for the rest of the period. Nice, friendly and very helpfull staff. Just go there...

Rented a car for 2 days and everything went very well. I had to choose between 2 options : with or without deposit. With the deposit I had more guarantees to be covered for any problems and so I left the deposit and after 3 days I got it back on my bank account. Man bekommt das Motorrad innerhalb von 10/15min und ohne lange disskusionen. Die 125ccm fahren sich recht gut, die Bremsen waren für meinen geschmack etwas schwach (anscheinend bei allen 125ccm so) aber sie funktionieren einwandfrei. Preis/Leistung ist gut, die Helme waren schon älter und es gab nicht alle grössen. Alles in allem war es keine schlechte entscheidung, würde dort wieder ein Motorrad mieten.

Zaplatili sme presne to ko ko ko bolo na nete pri objednávke. Suzuki Celerio je malé mestské auto, pre nás nová skúsenos , aj motor má mali ký ale vyjde do ka dého kopca... nedá sa v ak poveda , e sa netrápilo. Pri tejto kategórii áut je to zrejme normálne. Auto je priestranné ale interiér od Suzuki je ako pri aute výroby cca rok 2000, pre udí ktorí nemajú radi nové veci, to je príjemné, ak h adáte pekné moderné auto, rad ej siahnite po Fiate alebo Seate. Toto je vyslovene iba praktické a jednoduché auto.

This place really made my holiday! Good price, good motorbike, decent helmet. I even got a phone holder included! This island is half of Europe cropped in a few kilometers and always good weather, why wouldn t you go on a motorbike? Very beautiful, 10/10 would recommend!

Hat sich gelohnt das Geschäft in der Rua da Alegria 23b in Funchal zu besuchen und einen Scooter für 3Tage auszuleihen. Sie haben verschiedene Scooter und Motorräder und Autos. Wir haben einen 350 cm3 ausgeliehen. Die Kubikzahl braucht man schon, um z.B. auf den Pico do Areeiro zu fahren. Und der Scooter hatte noch ABS und ASR, was in den Bergen und feuchter Fahrbahn von Vorteil ist. Der Scooter war techn. in hervorragenden Zustand und wurde uns von Funchal aus ins Hotel nach Caniço de Baixo für 20,00 geliefert und wieder abgeholt. Der Preis der Ausleihe ist Saisonabhängig, aber top. Helme waren inclusive. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Wir können es nur empfehlen. Fam. Müller Germany

Un bon service, nous avons loué une CB500X et une Sandero qui furent 2 excellents véhicules pour découvrir Madère.

Rented a suzuki v-strom 650. Bike was in excellent condition. Comes with a 42 liter top case. And had good power for trekking into the hills of Maderia. Bike was delivered to my hotel. And Daniel give me a full break down of the bikes feature. They even had a universal cell phone holder so i can use my cell phone as a gps. There is a 12v cigarette lighter socket. If you need to plug in a gps or car cell phone charger. If you do not have a helmet. You need to set up the rental at there location. So they can size you to the right size helmet. I brought my own gear. So the bike was delivered to my hotel. And we did all the paper work there.

We rented a Fiat Panda for the 2 of us. We could pick it up and gave it back at the airport which was super comfortable. The company was super flexible, we arrived at 1am and the car was waiting for us with a very nice and helpful employee. The car was almost brand new and in perfect conditions. We rented a Suzuki Celerio just for the two of us. Next time we will probably remt something more powerful because of the Madeira mountains. Anyway, the guys from the agency were amazing! Really nice and helpful. We got the car at the airport also with some tips about local food and drinks. When we got a flat tire we got another car (Seat Ibiza - upgrade) for one day until they fixed it. On the way back they even took us to a local bar for some drinks (Poncha, Nikita, Pe de cabra). Moreover you can use a debit card (most agencies require a credit card) and the deposit was quite low, 150 compared to 800 from other agencies. Really recommend!

I have rented the car this July from the company Renting Madeira. They where on time, the car was clean and ready to drive. Professional service with the pick up and drop off the car. Take into consideration that roads in Madera are very steep and sometimes narrow. Have a good GPS or google, many roads are not in the GPS and sometimes was difficult to find the best road.

I was picked up at the airport in time though the plane was half an our earlier. All the papers and insurance was in order and done on the spot. The person attended gave is also cool tips were to go on the Island and so on. The car was as New and very clean. Listen to their advice which car to take! They know the island and its roads wel. If you are looking to rent a motorcycle these guys have a great range! I personally rented the Benelli and it was super comfortable for someone being 165cm tall - the bike did perfectly fine going up and down the hills. I also had to extend the amount of days I required the bike for and Daniel sorted me out without any issues. I also managed to meet two other guys working there which were really nice too. Petite agence locale spécialisée dans la location de motos mais où nous avons pu louer une voiture pour deux jours. Personnel très accueillant, clair et patient. Rien à redire sur laccueil et la disponibilité. Tout semble fait pour que la location se fasse le plus simplement, et avec de la souplesse pour les heures de récupération et de rendu du véhicule. Foi-nos concedido um carro muito cómodo, em ótimas condições, económico e ágil para andar pela ilha. O Filipe (funcionário da agência) foi impecável! Muito atencioso, simpático e disponível. Já de partida, combinamos encontrar-nos no aeroporto e lá estava o Filipe à hora marcada. Facilidades de pagamento: o POS foi transportado até ao local de entrega do veículo. Muito profissionais! Brand new motorcycle, completely uncomplicated process, very friendly staff. Without reservation positive experience, had contacted other providers, would have been a much more complicated process. I will definitely rent a motorcycle here again.

Ho affittato una moto fantastica per 6 giorni. La moto nuovissima una Suzuki 650- Vstorm é stata perfetta per girare lisola con tutte le sue curve e saliscendi. Qui la moto é ideale per fermarsi lungo le strade che sono molto strette e poter godere di viste mozzafiato (non dovete soffrire di vertigini però) . Altrettanto fantastico il gestore che oltre utili consigli mi ha fatto restituire la moto direttamente allaeroporto. Il prezzo piú che ottimo. Consigliato

Super loueur à Funchal, sûrement le meilleur! Luis Filipe nous à accueilli à laéroport souhaitant la bienvenue sur lile tout réglant les formalités en 15 minutes et livré notre Fiat Panda dans un état sans reproches. Nous avions loué 7 jours pour visiter Madère. Les pentes dans Funchal et autres villages sont très impressionnantes ...maitrise du démarrage en côte obligatoire ! Notre voyage sest très bien passé et au retour, Luis était à laéroport toujours aussi souriant pour réceptionner le véhicule sans chercher le petit défaut comme tant dautres... Comme à larrivée, pas dattente et toujours aussi aimable. RENTING MADEIRA EST LE LOUEUR N°1 à FUNCHAL : sérieux, très professionnel, sans mauvaises surprises. The rental office is in a good location. Daniel is friendly, professional, the administration part is quick and fun with him. They have a good selection of bikes of all sorts, they are in excellent condition. Their daily rates seem to be lower than most other rentals (as of October 2018). All in all I was very happy with the service and vehicle I got from Renting Madeira, I highly recommend them.
