Prima vooraf afgesproken welke auto we kwamen ophalen. Auto stond klaar, binnen 5 minuten ko den we rijden. Nette auto en met volledige garantie zonder eigen risico op pad en ook nog eens voor een scherpe prijs. Over 3 dagen auto terugbrengen. Auto teruggebracht. Korte controle en binnen 5 minuten weer weg. Kortom....snelle en correcte afwikkeling en een goede prijs. Echt aan te raden als je in Funchal een auto zoekt om het eiland te verkennen. Iets wat je zeker moet doen.

Via Sunny Cars hier een huurauto gehuurd voor 6 dagen. We werden netjes opgehaald bij ons hotel en naar deze vestiging gebracht voor het papierwerk (ging heel vlot). Aan het einde van huurperiode werd de auto weer netjes bij het hotel opgehaald. Super service hele aardige mensen. Geen gezeur of gedoe over extra kosten. En we hadden een mooie goede auto met airconditioning.

Snelle service, hele goede prijs en dan ook nog een splinter nieuwe auto rijden. Fijne ervaring gehad zonder problemen.

Wenn man etwas ungeübt damit ist Berge zu fahren oder zu schalten, sollte man nicht die kleinste Fahrzeugklasse (Fiat Panda & co.) nehemen, da die Berge damit teilweise etwas stressig sind. Wir sind mit unserem Panda aber dennoch überall hoch gekommen :).

Gebucht hatten wir die kleinste Kategorie bekommen haben wir einen fast neuen Audi A1 den wir erst am folgenden Tag vormittags zurückgeben mussten, obwohl wir ihn nur einen Tag gemietet hatten. Super Service und gutes Auto. Wir hatten die kleinste Klasse für einen Mietwagen gebucht, aber ein größeres Auto ohne Aufpreis bekommen. Der Mietwagen hatte alles was man brauchte (Klimaanlagen, Kameras, Radio, AppleCarPlay etc) Die Abwicklung zuvor und danach war total einfach. Ein Shuttle hat uns von Flughafen geholt und zum Schluss dort wieder abgesetzt.

Pick up was good and problem-free and the rental car was also neat. The employee at the return in Funchal was extremely unfriendly. He even questioned the photos of some scratches taken when he picked it up (the date on the iPhone was fake???) and only released the deposit after a phone call with his boss.

Leider nicht zu empfehlen. Laut Buchung über die Reiseleitung von alltours sollt der Wagen 125,- für zwei Tage kosten. Vor Ort hieß es dann 145,- oder es gibt kein Auto. Da der Rest des Urlaubes schon verplant war, wollte man natürlich nicht mehr zurücktreten und hat den nicht vereinbarten Mehrpreis zähneknirschend akzeptiert. Darüber hinaus war der Mitarbeiter vor Ort sehr unhöflich. Ich kann jedem Urlauber nur raten, sich einen anderen Anbieter zu suchen.

I would fully recommend the place, we were given a rental within a couple of minutes before closure. Guys were kind and helpful. We selected a Clio, nippy engine, great performance for the mountain roads. Anything bigger is unnecessary for these tight streets.

Le meilleur plan pour louer une voiture a Madère. Déroutant de simplicité (pas détat des lieux ni au début ni à la fin, pas de caution a prévoir) pour une prestation parfaite (voiture en bon état, possibilité de récupérer la voiture la veille au soir et de la rendre le lendemain du dernier jour) et pour un prix qui défie toute concurrence (450 les 7 jours, assurance incluse). Das Personal war sehr unfreundlich und herablassend, meinte auf Nachfrage, wie es mit einer Vollkaskoversicherung aussieht, ob wir nur in den Urlaub fahren, um Autos kaputt zu machen . Wir wollten lediglich, aufgrund wenig Fahrerfahrung bei hoher Steigung, ein Vollkaskoversicherung und keine blöden Kommentare. Es wird zu viel Geld verlangt bei einer Vollkaskoversicherung, im Vergleich zu anderen Anbietern. ( Trotz Preisnachlässen bei Buchungen über Reiseveranstalter )

Wir hatten Mitte August einen super ausgestatteten Ford Fiesta, der erst 900 km aufm Tacho hatte. Wir waren mit dem Service super zufrieden und würden dort jederzeit wieder ein Auto mieten. Anmietung und Abgabe dauerte zusammen keine 10 Minuten. Der Wagen war voll versichert. Der integrierte Bordcomputer ließ sich über App mit dem eigenen Handy verbinden, so dass Google Maps auf dem Bildschirm als Navi genutzt werden konnte.

Wir hatten für 3 Tage einen Wagen gemietet. Positiv: das Auto war wirklich gut, ein fast neuer VW Taigo, knapp 700km gelaufen. Kategorie D, da wir Automatik haben wollten. Sauber, keine Probleme bei der Rückgabe, Servicemensch bei Reservierung und Rückgabe des Fahrzeugs sehr nett. Negativ: - der Servicemensch bei Abholung des Wagens ging garnicht. Absolut unfreundlich und unverschämt, dass ich kurz davor war, mich umzudrehen und einfach wieder zu gehen. - die Tankregelung ist bescheiden. Man bekommt den Wagen Viertel-voll und soll ihn Viertel-voll zurück geben (oder voller, wenn man zuviel Geld für Benzin hat). Üblich ist voll abholen - voll zurück geben

Correu tudo maravilhosamente bem. Pode não ser a rent a car mais barata, mas compensa claramente a diferença de valores. O comercial da rent a car trouxe-me a viatura ao hotel na hora combinada e durante o preenchimento da papelada quando soube que era a minha primeira vez na Madeira tirou um mapa da mala e mostrou-me o percurso a percorrer durante os 3 dias que tinha a viatura, os locais de visita obrigatória e os menos recomendados. O que me poupou com toda a certeza dezenas de kms. Em relação à viatura, não podia ser melhor porque só tinha 800km portanto nova. Acrescento ainda que a confiança foi tanta que simplesmente me disse para deixar as chaves no hotel com mais ou menos a mesma quantidade de combustível.

Uma certeza. Alugar carro no Funchal será sempre Atlantic Lido. Extraordinário.

Wir waren nun das dritte Mal in Funchal und haben uns dieses Mal ein VW Taigo Automatik für 7Tage gemietet. Besonders muß man den tollen Service und vor allem die netten Mitarbeiter hervorheben was man nicht immer so hat. Tolle Beratung und guter Preis sowie ein Lachen wegen dem Navi was beim nächsten Besuch bestimmt klappt, denn wir kommen wieder um weitere tolle Touren durchzuführen. Diese Autovermietung ist nur zu empfehlen. DANKE

Faire Preise zu guten Autos. Schnelle Abwicklung ohne viel Tam Tam. Unser Wagen, ein größerer Citroen für 75 Euro mit All Inklusive für einen Tag. Für mehrere Tage natürlich weniger. Der Wagen hatte ca. 30.000 Kilometer runter und war im Top Zustand.

Ein Punkt für den Wagen der wirklich gut war und ein Punkt für den netten Mitarbeiter bei dem wir das Auto wieder abgegeben haben. Leider können wir nicht mehr Punkte geben weil der Service Mitarbeiter bei dem wir den Wagen abgeholt haben absolut unfreundlich und unverschämt war. Also nie wieder, geht einfach nicht sowas.

Very efficient service at a good price.

First time in Madeira, hire car was spotless and the check in service was efficient. We were picked up from airport and taken to their premises not far away. Very smart and courteous staff. Only criticism was they were not happy when we returned car too early, our form stated 2.30pm but our flight home was 3.45pm and we knew it would be too tight for check in especially with all the new covid rules etc in place. Member of staff was rather curt , however we were glad we returned car early because the check in queues were horrendous and took ages. This situation with present rules and forms etc will only get worst sadly as more flights arriving. Would recommend this company however, service was professional and their policies give you peace of mind.

Super unkompliziert bei Anmietung und Abgabe. Leider sind die Preise (durch Corona) unglaublich hoch. Statt 30 wurden 90 für das kleinste Auto verlangt. Dadurch ein Stern Abzug!!!! Leider haben diese Abzockmethoden alle Auto-Verleiher in/um Funchal so umgesetzt.

During a busy September for car hire, managed to secure a Fiat Panda for a couple of days to explore Madeira and do some levada walks. Antonio at the Funchal office was totally genuine and helpful. Id been stressing about being rinsed for add-on insurance and deposit, but we got an all-in fee, no hidden charges, pay and go. It may have cost me slightly more, but the peace of mind was priceless. Car was great and we had an excellent time sightseeing

Mit Abstand die schnellste und unkomplizierteste Autovermietung, die ich je erlebt habe. Sehr fairer Preis und keine Extraangebote aufgeschwatzt. Gesamte Verhandlung hat 5-10min gedauert. Ich habe einen Renault Clio bekommen, der zwar ein paar Kratzer hatte, aber ansonsten in einem top Zustand war. Es wurde nicht erwartet, dass Auto vollgetankt zurück zu bringen. Für den Fall eines Unfalls/Probleme wurden Kontaktdaten gegeben. Verglichen mit den Reviews von Europcar und Hertz in der Gegend kann man Atlantic nur empfehlen.

We have rented a car with Atlantic car rental twice and would do it again. The station is located in the center and only 15 minutes walking distannce from the cruise terminal. The cars were new and the service friendly and quick.

Wir haben unseren Mietwagen über Sunnycars dort gebucht. Der Angestellte war freundlich und das Auto, das wir gemietet haben war sauber und es gab vor Ort keinerlei Probleme.

Péssimo serviço, péssima atenção ao cliente!

Wir haben unser Mietwagen über sunnycars gebucht, dies war auch kein Problem! Aber: - lange Suche (ca.15-20min) am Flughafen bis man die Mitarbeiter von Atlantic gefunden hat & weitere 20min Wartezeit bis es zum Büro ging (mittels Sammeltaxi -> ca.10min Fahrt!) - NICHT das Auto bekommen was wir gebucht hatten sondern eine Kategorie drunter! - Tank war leer, wir haben es gerade so zur nächsten Tankstelle geschafft!!! - Navigation war sehr veraltet! Positive war dafür: - Auto war sehr sauber und desinfiziert! - Mitarbeiter waren freundlich! - Abgabe vom Mietwagen hat sehr gut geklappt und es gab nur eine sehr geringe Wartezeit bis es zum Flughafen ging.

Do not rent a car! Very dangerous!! Op 6 februarie een Renault Clio gehuurd met kenteken 57-SE-89. Nette bediening bij afhalen van auto. Naar Pico Arieero gereden met de Clio. Alles prima. Na een bezoek van ca 2 uur terug naar huis. Aangezien het zeer steil is rustig afdalen in 1 ste versnelling en regelmatig bij remmen. Niet harder dan 25 km per uur. Na ca 15 minuten trap ik het pedaal in, maar er is geen remdruk. Pedaal tot op de bodem ingetrapt. Geen resultaat. Handrem aangetrokken en vlak voor afgrond tot stilstand gekomen. Uitgestapt en naar remmen gekeken. Remvoering bijna nieuw. Links voor normale temperatuur en kleur. Rechtsvoor warm en blauwe schijf. Conclusie: VAPOUR LOCK!!! Even gewacht. Rem op druk gepompt en heel voorzichtig in ,eerste versnelling, 1550 mtr omlaag en 7 km lang naar Funchal gereden. Bij aankomst bij verhuurmaatschappij de klachten aangegeven. Deze geloofde mijn verhaal niet en zei dat alle autos op Madeira dit doen. Ligt aan de bestuurder. Zelf ben ik pas 44 jaar werkzaam in de automobielbranche en ben bekend met het verschijnsel dat bestuurders de rem onnodig gebruiken bij een afdaling. Daarom rij ik de helling af in dezelfde versnelling als de berg op. De medewerker van Atlantis kon ik hier niet van overtuigen. Daarbij komt het verschil tussen Linksvoor en rechtsvoor. Hoe wil hij dit verklaren? Ik heb er geen moeite mee dat een huurauto eventueel een gebrek vertoond. Maar de behandeling van Atlantic was ver beneden peil. Er is mij nog een andere auto aangeboden. Ik ben echter het vertrouwen in Atlantic rent car volledig kwijt. Ik hoef er geen meer. De 50,- euro brandstof mogen ze ook houden. Ik wil iedereen waarschuwen: Huur geen auto bij Atlantic Rent a Car. En zeker niet de Renault Clio 57-SE-89. De remmen zijn echt niet in orde! Joep Bustin

Zuverlässiger Autovermieter. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis war fair. Bei kleinerem Problem mit dem Fahrzeug (blinkende Warnleuchte) konnten wir direkt einen Ansprechpartner erreichen, der sofort vor Ort war. Abholung vom Flughafen bzw. Transport dahin auch problemlos. Jederzeit wieder.

We hired a Renault Zoe, on two separate days, and did our own tour of the North and West, and then the East and North of the Island. The car was Superb. Could not fault it. On both days it was delivered fully charged, there was no need to top up the charge, although if there had been there are plenty of charging stations around, and that number is increasing, as the island gears up to accommodate electric vehicles. On both days we did over 130km which didnt even dent the battery capacity, having over 150+ km left in reserve. This car is smooth, quiet, quick and fast, this is NOT a milk float! And all for 40 euros a day.

Super! Aardige mensen, geen gezeur. Proberen ook niet in nutteloze verzekeringen aan je te verkopen. Aanrader dus. Wellicht betaal je ietsjes meer maar ik had dit er graag voor over. Via Sunny Cars en Tui hier terecht gekomen. De autos zijn netjes. Hier en daar wat krasjes en deukjes maar dat is volledig verzekerd blijkbaar.

Betraubaar Rentoffice met goede autos met prima service.

Verhuurder via Tourist information aangeraden gekregen. Hele soepele auto verhuurder. Doet niet moeilijk over wat krasjes, mochten die op de auto komen. Auto werd keurig op afgesproken tijdstip bij het hotel afgeleverd waar we het huurcontract hebben ondertekend. Contant afgerekend en geen borg hoeven betalen of borg via creditcard. We wilden later nog een extra dag huren. Geen probleem. Stop het geld maar in een enveloppe en lever maar met de sleutels in bij de receptie. Terwijl we op die dag ook weer vertrokken naar Nederland. Wat een vertrouwen! Denk dat je bij de grote internationale verhuurders er niet zo makkelijk mee weg komt. Aanrader en niet duur, ongeveer 42 euro per dag voor een Clio.

März 2016 einen Mietwagen geliehen. Der Service war in Ordnung. Wir haben unseren Urlaub verlängert und konnten die Verlängerung des Mietwagens vorab am Telefon und noch mal unkompliziert vorort klären. Das Mietwagenvermieter typische Nachbelasten der Kreditkarte o.Ä. hat nicht stattgefunden. Ich kann Atlantic empfehlen!

Nachdem unser Mietwagen nach 3 Tagen komische Geräusche abgab, kam ein Mitarbeiter zur Untersuchung vorbei und tauschte den Wagen anstandslos und ohne jegliche Komplikationen oder Mehrkosten aus. Da auch die Abholung vom und die Rückbringung zum Flughafen super schnell verlief und die Mietgebühren mit zu den preiswertesten auf der Insel gehören, kann ich die Firma nur empfehlen !

Kilka dni chodzili my i szukali my najlepszej oferty, aby wynaj samochód. Atlantic by przede wszystkim najta szy (36 euro za jeden dzie ), wymaga minimum formalno ci, adnej kaucji czy dodatkowego ubezpieczenia. Na dodatek trafi nam si samochód, który mia ledwie... trzy miesi ce! Clio z lipca 2017 by o wietne, bogato wyposa one nawet z nawigacj w polskiej wersji j zykowej bez dodatkowych op at. Do tego wszystkiego dochodzi jeszcze przesympatyczny facet z obs ugi. No i jeszcze jedno - tu jest zawsze szansa, e w najni szej cenie dostaniecie troch lepszy samochód je li akurat b dzie wolny.

Great offer with the option to return the car at the airport. They gave me a great service and price when I came to prolong my rental and wished to reurn at the airport. All in all a really simple proces and a good deal. I can definitly recommend.

Horrible Service. Am ersten Tag musste ich das Auto wechseln, da es unmöglich war, bergauf zu fahren. Mit voller Versicherung nach einem kleinen Kratzer wurde von der Kreditkarte ohne meine Genehmigung das Geld abgenommen. Ich hatte mit ihnen für ein paar Monate zu beschäftigen...

I stumbled on this small and local car rental company whilst on holiday with my young family in Madeira. We werent intending on renting so hadnt done the usual thing of booking through the large chains. Our experiences with the national brands whilst on holiday has always been mixed and left us feeling ripped-off with poor service, hidden charges, rude staff and frankly cars that were in poor condition and werent roadworthy. Atlantic were different. After trying some of the major chains in the town, with nothing left to rent being high season - I tried Atlantic. They searched their books and despite being fully booked / found me a rental for several days between bookings. The staff were lovely - friendly, helpful, trustworthy and informative. The car was in excellent condition with all emergency documentation in the right place including warning triangle and spare wheel. They didnt try to sell me things I didnt want or need. They charged me what they said they would in the original quote - with no extras to pay. For the very first time Ive rented a car and not felt ripped-off - I even venture to say I enjoyed the experience. Well done Atlantic - Fully deserved = 5 Star Rating from me. Id recommend this company and this team without hesitation. Fantastic local gem of a company. Thank you.
