Mivel a foglalt kategóriában éppen nem volt szabad járm , ezért egy osztállyal magasabb szint t kaptunk az eredetileg megbeszélt áron. A díj tartalmazza a teljes biztosítást, nincs letét, nincs kártya terhelés. 126 Euro volt az össz költség négy napra és egy szinte új Skoda Kamiqot kaptunk. Tökéletes szervezés, öt perc papírmunka és már mehettünk is. A visszaadás is hasonlóan pontosan és gyorsan zajlott. Csak itt fogunk foglalni, ha újra megyünk! Egy jótanács : érdemes reptéri átvétellel és leadással kérni az autót (ez 2x10 Eur többlet), viszont a buszköltség a szállodákhoz ill. a városba két személyre ennél magasabb. Plusz az els t l az utolsó percig tudod élvezni a nyaralást a mobilitás segítségével. Köszi Ruben !

Reservamos mediante la página. Sin fianza ni tarjeta. Al llegar al aeropuerto nos estaban esperando con un Volkswagen up. El auto estaba como nuevo y cumplió con creces todas las exigencias de las rutas de Madeira , aparte de no consumir mucho combustible. La devolución fue súper sencilla en el aeropuerto como acordamos. 5 estrellas para esta empresa. Al venir a Madeira , lei sobre muchas compañías que estafaban a sus clientes. Afortunadamente los encontramos a ustedes .

Super Autovermietung. Sehr freundlicher Mitarbeiter, Reservierung vor Ort war unkompliziert, Bezahlung erst bei Autoabholung. Wir hatten einen sehr Leistungsstarken Opel Corsa der Kategorie B, mit dem wir ohne Probleme jede noch so steile Straße befahren konnten. Auch die Rückgabe war einfach und unkompliziert. Bei unserem nächsten Besuch auf Madeira kommen wir wieder ;)

Très bon expérience. Voiture récupérée à l aéroport avec toutes les explications nécessaires. Nous avons loué une voiture type A (la plus petite, modèle super star) et avons fait le tour de l île, montagne etc c était suffisant même si nous étions en 2eme voir 1ere dans la plus part des montées. Je recommande vivement cette agence !

Had a fiat panda for one week, the car was in good shape, took it from the airport leave it at the airport. The staff was friendly and helpfull. Paid cash.

Very kind stuff, no insurance costs and no deposit! The car was clean and had apple car play. Price is fair. The car couldn t go any faster than 50 km/h uphill on the freeway and 20 km/h when the road was very steep, other than that great car. I would recommend.

2eme fois que nous louons une voiture à Madère avec eux. Très sérieux , aucun problème ni soucis . Heures de rendez-vous respectées. On remplit les papiers sur internet à l avance puis on récupère le véhicule en 5 minutes, très pratique. Aucune mauvaise surprise une fois rentrés à la maison. Aucune difficulté pour gravir les longues et grandes côtes de cette île magnifique (mise à part une gestion du stress pour le conducteur haha). Nous avons récupérer la voiture très vite et le retour est aussi rapide. Prix compétitif. L assurance comprend l habitacle de toute la voiture mais pas les pneus ni les vitres (7 /jour sinon). My Experience with a Seat Ibiza Rental At the office, I was greeted by a polite employee. He offered to add extra insurance for the windows and tires for 7 euros on top of the basic coverage, which would allow us to skip checking the car for damages when picking it up and returning it. I agreed. They handed over the car, gave a quick overview, and wished me a good trip. On the road, I discovered that the air conditioning didn t work. I decided it wasn t a big deal, as having the windows open would provide more fresh air. However, more serious problems began when we started driving uphill with a steep incline. First, a yellow EPC signal appeared, which could limit the engines power. Then, the Check Engine light (a yellow engine symbol) came on. I immediately stopped the car and informed the company by phone and WhatsApp, attaching photos and videos. They reassured me that everything was fine and that I could continue my trip while they looked for a replacement. Later, they informed me that there was no similar car available, but they could offer a lower-class vehicle (Kia Picanto). They also reiterated that I could continue my journey in the Seat Ibiza. In the evening, I visited the office, considered switching to the Kia Picanto, but realized that the car was even weaker and would struggle on Madeira s steep roads. I then messaged them again, asking for a car in the same class with a working air conditioner. There was no response to my last message. The car clearly had engine power issues, as I had to shift down to 2nd or 3rd gear on the highway to maintain speed and climb hills. On Funchals steep roads, I had to use 1st gear to ascend. When returning the car, another company employee, after learning about my situation, asked why the car hadn t been replaced. He looked at the message history and shook his head. He was surprised by the situation himself. I recommend carefully choosing your car. If there are any problems, request a replacement or cancel the contract. Le service était super. Nous avons rapidement et facilement pu récupérer la voiture, de même pour le dépôt à laéroport à la fin de nos vacances. Le personnel était très sympathique et a répondu très vite à nos questions par mail et par message. Nous avons eu une petite voiture très agréable mais les pentes de Madère sont raides et il manque parfois un peu de puissance. Nous conseillons donc de prendre un modèle un peu plus puissant si vous voulez visiter toute lîle. Nous recommandons fortement cette compagnie de location.

Very good value for money car rental. They brought the car to the hotel punctually and on time, and the drop-off at the airport was also problem-free. The car was in good technical condition (brakes!), like new.

They say full insurance... Be careful, when you receive the car, they will tell you that only the car body is covered by insurance and that you should be aware that if anything happens to the tires or windows, repairs will be very expensive. We didnt have the presence of mind to check the tires, and when we did, we saw that they were in an advanced state of degradation. We were often worried in traffic because the wheels would skid on the asphalt. When we returned the car, I told the company representative that what they did was not right because they put four peoples lives in danger, and he replied that the tires were still good and that if I wasnt satisfied, I should speak with the companys management. If you book with them, ask what this total insurance actually means. And dont forget to check the condition of the tires.

Super tevreden van deze autoverhuurfirma! Auto staat klaar als je van de luchthaven komt en je kan hem er zo achterlaten bij vertrek (uiteraard wel af te spreken). Geen waarborg moeten betalen en niets misgelopen. Zeker een aanrader om hier je auto te huren om door de bergen te rijden.

Superbe expérience ! 284e pour 10j, on a pris la voiture la moins cher. Alors c est vrai que pour ce prix il n y a rien à dire! (Nous avons cru avoir pris une assurance complète qui nous a couté 70e mais sur place on nous fait comprendre que cette assurance couvre juste les rayures. Pour avoir les pneus et vitres il fallait ajouter environ 7e par jour de location sur place). La voiture Fiat Panda Hybrid n était pas très puissante mais ça faisait l affaire ! L équipe et genial et Rafa super disponible et très sympathique ! Nous recommanderons pour la prochaine fois! Merci

Pick-up and delivery of the car without any problems. Great value for money. The car also had no problems, but I recommend renting a car with more power on the island (ours was a Fiat 500 hybrid).

Très satisfait par cette location. Horaires respectés et tarif compétitif. Prise du véhicule et retour très rapide. Voiture en bon état. Je regrette juste de ne pas avoir choisi une motorisation plus importante, car 75ch pour aller dans les montagnes cest très juste. Nous avions une Opel Corsa et elle peinait dans les montées.

I really recommend. They delivered and picked up the car for our hotel and did not charge for that. They do not require any deposit or card number so it is super fast and easy to rent a car. The car was nice too. We got pretty new car and everything was working perfectly.

The car had a faulty gear box and a very weak engine ( 1.0 volksvagen polo). The reverse gear didnt work on many occasions, and the car went forward, which was quite dangerous and caused some serious issues when parking (on board computer showed reversing). We had to drive up some steep hills using the first gear. Thank God they offer full insurance and no deposit like most companies on the island, as driving on the Madeira island can be stressful even for an experienced driver. Rafael was very nice and professional. The collection and return of the car went smoothly. Thanks.

We are satisfied with the car rental. The car that we hired from the first cattegory was small but managed everything we threw at it. Sometimes you had to drive it in first gear but thats normal because of the hills and the small engine. Very positive that you do not have to leave a deposit or credit card. Dropoff and return of the car was fast and simple. Recomend.

Fair price and a good service. Rafa waited for us at the airport and then picked the car as we were leaving from the airport. The process was quick and hassle free. We reserved a Group B car and got a new Skoda Kamiq with 25k Km on it. It handled the steep roads of Madeira adequately. I dont recommend having something smaller if you intend to go anywhere out of the city:)

Ive rented a car for 3 days, these guys have new cars, powerful engines (at least what I got) and competitive price. Perfect for the terrain, enough power to accelerate quickly uphill, compact so the parking was easy. We got it delivered to the airport and dropped it there too, 5 minutes of formalities, tops. One negative memory stayed with me - at the pickup I was informed the insurance was only for the body. Wheels and windows cost extra. Asked once, I refused to take it and got given the (i think) standard talk about the cost of a flat tire (hundreds of euros), broken windows. Asked the second time and thats all. Was not pushy about it so thats a positive. But we were afraid during the first day that flats and broken windows are happening frequently. (didnt happen) Writing that so you are not taken by surprise. Overall experience was very good. Punctual staff, friendly, eager to explain if you have doubts or questions. I would use their services again!

Very friendly people and very helpful with all the information. I fully recommend Go Car Rental Funchal. The rental was a small car (VW Up) for 6 days. The car ran smoothly and was very clean. The gentleman who gave me the car was also present when returning it, and we chatted about Madeira and its wonders. He gave me advice about parking spaces in Madeira and roundabouts. He explained to me all the necessary information about renting the car and about dropping it off. Ha ido todo muy bien durante nuestro alquiler. Nos dieron un C1, que al principio me pareció algo insuficiente para subir algunas cuestas, pero aunque a veces el coche se ahogaba un poco, pudo con todo. Nosotros pagamos el seguro para olvidarnos del tema, siempre lo hago y la verdad que voy tranquila aunque no haya tenido problemas. Rafa muy amable.

I rented a Seat Ibiza from Go Car for a week in May -22. The rental experience was surprisingly nice! Raffa was there at the airport when our flight arrived a bit late - and he showed up as agreed on our departure a week later. No fuzz or hassle what so ever. Quick and easy and we got the car for a fair price. Though, the Ibiza isn´t really the kind of car you want for all the up hill driving on Madeira. At times I almost thought they had forgot to put an engine in the car? But I guess you get what you pay for. Maybe an idea would be to inform on the website about engine CC and how many HP you can expect from each car? Raffa told me the Ibiza had 75 HP, but I had a hard time finding more then 35. Or maybe it was just pony power in the Ibiza?

10/10 rental experience. Ive had a fiat panda which i was worried was not gonna make it up some of the hills, but it managed to go everywhere. The car was very clean.

Such a good experience with GO CAR. From the moment we landed we were delivered the car at the airport arrivals. We were offered the full insurance, which we took to be extra insured on the island roads. Drop off at the airport was super easy as well. We met Rafael at departures to provide him the car. Após chegada ao aeroporto de são miguel, pedimos preços e condições para alugar um carro a imensas rent a car que lá se encontravam. Escusado será dizer que todas pediam uma caução exorbitante (a mais alta que pediram foi de 1800 ) ou cartão de crédito. Após pesquisa rápida, encontramos a go rent a car através do Google e lá fomos ao encontro da sede, que fica no centro de ponta delgada. Atendimento excelente, diretos e sem burocracias, não foi preciso nem caução nem cartão. Apenas pagamos 10 a mais de seguro por dia. Preço super acessível. Quanto ao carro, 5 estrelas, novo, com bluetooth, sistema de navegação, câmara traseira e surpreendentemente económico. Recomendo a 1000%.

Sinon dans lensemble jai payé a la réception du véhicule on remplit le formulaire en 10 min cest fait,pour le départ on pose le véhicule sur un parking a laéroport ou autre avec les clé a lintérieur et cest terminer merci.

The car was ordered more than two weeks before arrival. Of course, I received order confirmation. Upon arrival, he receives a group B car instead of group C. Its the first time Ive encountered a situation where I receive a worse car than the one I ordered. I guess if I hadnt said anything, I would have paid the amount of the order. Apart from that, it was ok, but I dont recommend the Opel Corsa for inexperienced drivers.

We rented a Fiat Panda and got a slightly better car. You cant complain about the bigger Kia, but as a professional driver, I recommend taking out full health and car insurance because the island is extreme. Great experience! Everything went absolutely seamless, got a Fiat Panda for one week. A surprisingly fun car, even if its quite underpowered on the steep roads if there are more that 2 people. Not the case for us, the little car was amazing, and the experience with the company was excellent.

Excellent, nous avons récupéré notre voiture très tard (00h30) notre avion a eu 30 min de retard, mais l agence a attendu. La voiture (Citroën c3 classé C) était très bien. Pas de caution, paiement par CB ou espèces à l arrivée (a vous de choisir). Check up rapide, siège bébé à disposition (sur demande). On est habitué aux voyages, et nous n avons jamais eu de location aussi rapide et efficace que cette agence, c est exceptionnel ! Merci GO CAR Rental pour votre efficacité et votre confiance !!!!

El coche que me alquilaron fue un opel corsa que no tenía potencia para las subidas de la isla, pero la atención fue buena y estaba muy limpio.

Very pleasant experience. We got a very clean Opel Corsa that was prefect to navigate through the island. No hidden fees and fully insured for a very reasonable price. We chose the pick up and delivery at the airport. Both times they were a bit late but other than that everything was perfect.

Very good rental car company, we rent a Peugeot 108 for 2 weeks, everything was OK with the car but we use it a lot and after 1000 Km of driving in Madeira, the front axel brakes were beginning to colaps, but the guys from GoCar immediately bring us a new Citroen C1 in Sao Vicente and we could continue our journey safely. So, nothing to complain about their services. Good comunication, no credit card needed, the payment was made in cash, the car has full insurance.Totally recommended and definitely I will rent another car from them when I come back in Madeira.

Alquilamos un coche para recorrer la isla de Madeira, nos cancelaron el vuelo y tuvimos que ir al día siguiente. La empresa no puso ningún problema y nos dió facilidades para recoger el coche. El coche fue un Renault Twingo, que estuvo perfecto para recorrer la isla, al ser pequeño y fácil de manejar, incluso en las cuestas y calles estrechas(que es de lo que más hay por allí ). Quedamos muy contentos, muy recomendable.

The rental company is excellent, the French car I rented is piece.....but this not their fault. Remember, to rent a car with strong engine otherwise you will stock on the middle of the uphill road and start to crying. There is no room to turn around on many secondary roads.

Avoid this company!! Ive rented a car with my friends. Suppose to be an automatic class A however we got a manual faulty Fiat 500. Clearly, the engine wasnt in the right condition. On bypass, we needed to keep changing gears from 3rd to 1st simply because the car stopped working ( on a busy road). Never mention about high hills and the faulty engine again! Many times we were in panic and close to anxiety because of the cars condition. On the next day when we turn to give this car back to the company ( we needed to wait for another 15 minutes coz guy was busy delivering a car to another client ) we mentioned problems with this particular car his answer was : next time rent a better class car THIS IS A MADEIRA!!

Keurig op tijd kwam de aardige medewerker naar onze hotel, duidelijke uitleg en wij konden vertrekken met kleine, nette peugeot. Ook aflevering is giga snel gegaan. Wir hatten einen Opel Corsa mit 75 PS (Klasse B), der eigentlich für die Berge auf Madeira geeignet sein sollte. Leider hatten wir schon am Hotel Probleme an einem kleinen Berg anzufahren. Das Auto zog schlecht und ruckelte im 1. Gang. Nachdem im Gebirge die Kupplung rauchte und es nicht möglich war anzufahren, mussten wir rückwärts wieder runterrollen, bis eine geeignete Stelle zum Umkehren kam. Das war gefährlich und für uns der reinste Horror! Wir fuhren zurück zu gocar und schilderten das Problem. Dort wurde uns erklärt, dass das Auto vollkommen in Ordnung sei und es wohl an uns liegt. Ein Umtausch war auch nicht möglich, da kein Auto frei, da alle vermietet waren .Wir haben uns dann einen Smart bei 7M gemietet, mit dem wir ohne Probleme jeden Berg hochkamen.

Positive experience. The car was delivered to the hotel at the agreed time - it was picked up from there. It is convenient that the car can be ordered online in advance without any problems, a deposit is not required, and payment can be made when picking up the car. The car itself (we received a citroen C1) was technically sound and economical. I recommend!

Very good car rental company. Easy to rent. The employee contacted us at the day of our arrival to Madeira and waited us just after landing at the airport parking with our car. We signed the contract, payed the rental fee (with no deposit) and we got the car. The payment was possible aslo with card. So arrival was very convenient. Returning was simple too. We jad an early morning flight, so we parked car at the airport, left keys within the car and texted the company that the car is already returned. That was all. We had a new Opel Corsa (approx. 16 000km only). The car was clean ndd reliable and suppirted Android auto, which made us easy to connect phone with GPS and music. I recommend this company.

A nice and straight forward car rental company. Its a quick procedure for picking up your car. Within a few minutes you get your car and you can explore the island. Also, a very friendly and helpful staff.

Depois de muitas pesquisas e os maus comentários de grandes empresas, encontrámos a GoCar. Muito transparentes, rápidos na resposta e sérios no serviço. Não é necessário cartão de crédito, franquias, e não somos pressionados a adquirir seguros desnecessários. Demonstraram o porquê de alugar em pequenas empresas pode ser seguro. Alugámos um carro citadino, que até aguentou as subidas nas montanhas, e gastou pouco combustível. Valores com alguns dias de antecedência, 24 ao dia, 20 de recolha no aeroporto e 15 de seguro que foi opcional. Cumpriram o horário de entrega e recolha do carro e foram muito simpáticos, não existiu qualquer problema com o carro. Sem dúvida que voltaremos a usar os vossos serviços.

good experience! Very friendly staff and it meets all expectations. I was a day too early at the pick-up location (my mistake), I called and it was also possible to rent the car that day for an additional cost. Everything was super arranged. I had booked a seat ibiza, it was not available, but I received a brand new Opel Corsa as a replacement! A nice car which had Apple Carplay, which was very nice to navigate. I would definitely rent a car here again! Price-quality was very good, about 180 euros for 4 days a car including all-risk insurance.

Sehr zuverlässig. Alle Vereinbarungen wurde exakt eingehalten. Das Auto wurde pünktlich um 11 Uhr zum Hotel gebracht. Die Übergabe des Schlüssels verlief problemlos und schnell. Bezahlt wurde vor Ort in bar. Eine Kaution wurde nicht verlangt. Der ausgesuchte und gelieferte VW Up war sauber und zuverlässig. Dass er nicht den stärksten Motor hat, wusste ich vorher. Zurückgeben wollte ich das Fahrzeug um 8:20 Uhr am Flughafen. Wir vereinbarten die Übergabe am Departure- Eingang des Terminals. Auf die Minute traf der Mitarbeiter dort ein um mir das Fahrzeug wieder abzunehmen. So unkompliziert und zuverlässig stelle ich mir Autovermietung überall vor.

We rented a car volkswagen polo group B for 15 days. Acceptance and delivery of the machine was quick. We recommennd that company. We recommend for Madeira take a car of group C or D. We were 5 people ( this is 320 kg +) and on steep roads only in first gear there were climbs.

I reserved a car with Go Car not realizing it was manual. They did not have automatic cars but they were more than willing to refund us our money and even come pick up the manual car from our Airbnb an hour away. They were such nice people. Definitely suggest using them if you can drive manual vehicles.

We had an excellent experience with the company. Even though our flight was significantly delayed, a company representative was waiting for us at the airport and contacted us by phone. The agent was very professional and nice, the car was in perfect condition, the whole delivery process was very quick and easy. Rental fees include insurance. We had a bad experience with go car rental in Funchal, they give us a very old Renault Clio which was in bad conditions, and After 3 days of driving....the battery was gone forever! We waited 3 hours for the guys of the rental Company to come and installing a bran new battery on the car. I expected a message from the company or a partial refund (we lost our last afternoon on the island and we spent 25 euros of taxi to go back to hotel) but none from the headquarter of the company contacted us. I dont give ZERO only because the staff guys do their job with professionality and did all they can to help us.

I give one star for creating a post otherwise I would give 0 star for such bad service. Unprofessional people sit in the office, who lie to their customers and talk far from nicely. Pass by Go Car Rental to avoid being cheated and disappointed. No office may rent a car that is not technically in order. Go Car Rental did not care that an accident could happen to their customers. We rented a car, which was supposed to be technically sound, but the car reported an engine failure the next day. We contacted Go Car Rental. We were told that they forgot to tell us that there was a fault which was not serious and we could continue to use the car. A man in the office said that a CO2 meter was broken and that they were waiting for a new meter to arrive from mainland. We asked why signs of faults in the car were removed when the car was rented out? Why did Go Car Rental rent a car that pollutes nature? We did not get a new car, but the man in the office insisted that we keep the car with the fault in it. It was not other cars that were offered to us. We went out to talk a little together. The man was gone from the office within 10 minutes, although he indicated that we wanted to come back. We ended up renting another car from another office and did not use that car from Go Car Rental anymore. We could only deliver the car the next morning (the office was unmanned until the evening that day) and we had to pay for that day, even though we did not use the car and because there were no employees in the office. The employee seemed very rude and not least arrogant and did not want to give his name to us. You can see a message about engine failure on the screen (message is in Danish).

We got a new Seat Ibiza, it was OK but the 1.0 MPI engine is too weak for this relief. Pick up and return went smooth, we didnt had to wait at all. The only thing I didnt like was the fee for extra insurance for tires, wheels and windows, it costed 7,5 EUR / day, while FULL INSURANCE and NO HIDDEN FEES can be seen on the website ...

We rented our car from them for 10 complete months and because of a lower bar that could have been filled with 5 , they deducted 25 for it, even though we gave the car back 3 weeks earlier! very important! be sure to rent your car somewhere else. never with GoCar that is a total fraud!

Sehr gute Autovermietung. Wir waren voll zufrieden. Die Lieferung ins Hotel erfolgte super pünktlich. Die Übergabe war schnell, problemlos und freundlich. Ach ja, das Auto war fast neu und sauber. Rückgabe ebenfalls sehr bequem: einfach den Schlüssel an der Rezeption hinterlegt und fertig. Keine Zusatzversicherung aufgedrängt bei der Übernahme, die in 5 min erledigt war.

Wir waren auch voll zufrieden. Schnelle, einfache Abwicklung zu top Preis. Wir hatten sogar ein fast neues Auto. Nett, freundlich und seriös.

Great service! Honest, easy, everything included!

Easy to deal with, paid up front and no need to leave credit card details or deposits etc., full cover included in price. Met us at the airport arrivals on time and collected from departures on time with no fuss (nominal extra fee for this vs. picking up in Funchal itself, well worth it). A breath of fresh air compared to the multinational rental companies, highly recommended.

Sehr gutes Preis/Leistungsverhältnis. Bei Buchung über die Website ist Versicherung inkludiert, so dass keine Kaution nötig ist. Wagen wurde pünktlich zum Hotel gebracht, sehr nette Übergabe. Upgrade auf höhere Klasse ohne Aufpreis. Rückgabe am Flughafen wird sehr individuell und bequem organisiert. Sehr empfehlenswert anstelle einer Buchung über die großen Portale.

Last Friday I returned a Fiat Panda after 11 days rental with Go Car. I was very satisfied. The price was not the lowest on Madeira, but you don t pay any deposit. Neither was there any amount you would be liable for in case of damage. I also insured windows and tyres as falling grid or stones on the mountain roads happens a lot on Madeira. For all that the price was still very affordable. Service accurate and friendly. The Fiat Panda was fine, although the handbreak did not hold the steepest slopes and reversing on steep slopes was also not possible. When you are with more than two people or lots of luggage I would advice a bigger car with stronger engine!

Alugamos carro nas nossas ferias na Ilha, fomos super bem recebidos, a viatura estava impecável, não nos pediram deposito nem cartão de crédito. Eles têm um seguro total incluído na qual não tivemos preocupações nas estradas mais perigosas. Recomendo!
