Wir hatten im Dezember 24 einen Taigo Automatik für 3 T. Eigentlich darf man für diesen Autovermieter keine Werbung machen, dann bekommt man evtl selber kein Auto mehr ;)). Der Wagen war in einem super Zustand, gepflegt, sauber, wenig gefahren. Ein netter Mitarbeiter brachte sehr pünktlich den Pkw zum Hotel. Auch die Abgabe war völlig problemlos über die Rezeption unseres Hotels möglich. Ein fettes Lob für den Anbieter. Bei den vielen Leihwagen die wir weltweit ausgeliehen haben, war Er mit Abstand der Beste. Vielen Dank und weiter so. Am 10.02. sind wir wieder auf dieser Wunderschönen Insel, dann werden wir uns wieder dort einen Pkw ausleihen.

Sou residente da Madeira, e muitas das vezes preciso de carro ocasionalmente e por isso não compro um, encontrei a Point Car, através de uma pequena pesquisa na internet, e durante cerca de mais de 1 ano e meio fui um cliente regular com certa de 2 alugueres mensais, sempre um processo muito rápido, e parece tudo um conto de fadas até acontecer alguma coisa a um carro.. tive o infortúnio de ter um furo no pneu traseiro direito durante a condução, efetuei a troca do pneu pelo suplente e não me sentia seguro com o mesmo carro sabendo que ainda iria fazer muitos mais km s até ao final do período de aluguer, solicitei a troca de veículo pois é um direito quando o mesmo não está 100% seguro e em condições de conduzir com segurança, foi me recusada e apenas após várias insistências me foi cedida a troca do veículo, depois disseram que iria ter que pagar por 2 pneus quando apenas um furou, e antes de dizerem que tinha que pagar os 2, caso o pneu tivesse arranjo não me seria cobrado nada, senti-me uma autêntica bola de ténis com várias pessoas diferentes da mesma empresa a dar diferentes informações. No ato de entrega e final do aluguer foram me pedidos 37,50 pela troca do pneu e ainda fizeram questão de me informar que tinha sorte em não pagar os dois. sem qualquer tipo de relatório ou análise se o mesmo tinha arranjo. Senti-me completamente enganado por algo que não tive culpa absolutamente nenhuma, uma falta de cuidado extrema por um cliente habitual com vários alugueres mensais. O funcionário Bruno é o mais arrogante e estava constantemente com um ar ameaçador e arrogante. Depois de tanto tempo com a mesma empresa e com a minha total confiança, paguei o pneu e escrevi no livro de reclamações e ainda fui chamado de mentiroso. Em suma, a empresa tem bons funcionários tanto quanto de maus.. como tudo. Mas é a velha história é tudo um conto de fadas até aparecer o primeiro problema e serem extremamente mal educados e rudes com clientes que deveriam ter no mínimo um consideração por ser um cliente sempre educado, pontual e bom pagador. Se estão à procura de boas condições para alugar um carro, até pode ser um bom lugar, mas tenham em atenção quando acontecer alguma coisa, todos eles vão se virar contra si.

Très bonne expérience. Location dune Renault Clio début septembre pour 10 jours. Voiture amenée à laéroport juste à la sortie du terminal, très pratique ! Papiers et paiement faits sur places (cartes de débit acceptées !). Loueur très réactif par message au besoin. Seule chose qui pourrait freiner : dépôt de la voiture à la fin du séjour en la laissant ouverte avec les clefs dans la boîte à gants sur un parking de laéroport. Il faut avoir confiance mais apparemment il ny a aucun problème à Madere. Je recommande.

Ottimo affare! Quando, molti mesi prima del viaggio, ho cercato di noleggiare una macchina per Madeira, ho riscontrato non poche difficoltà, sia perché non avendo una carta di credito non potevo noleggiare con le grandi compagnie, sia perché ho letto di molte macchine a noleggio con freni in condizioni pietose e altri problemi che, considerando le strade spesso ripide di Madeira, non augurerei a nessuno. Mi sono poi imbattuto in Point Car Rental, che con prezzi competitivi prometteva macchine in buone condizioni e assicurazione completa. Abbiamo opzionato la 500 ibrida, poiché sembrava il perfetto compromesso per avere un minimo di tirata e dimensioni ridotte, e ne siamo rimasti soddisfatti, anche se con qualche riserva. Il prezzo (310 con assicurazione dalla sera dell1/08 alla sera dell8/08) è indubbiamente imbattibile, ho confrontato tantissime altre compagnie ma non ho trovato di meglio. Primo appunto: lassicurazione non ho avuto modo di leggerla da nessuna parte, si leggeva full insurance sulla prenotazione ma non mi è stato specificato cosa prevedesse. E allarrivo mi dicono che i danni alle gomme e agli interni non sono inclusi. Per fortuna non abbiamo avuto problemi, ma penso dovrebbero essere più trasparenti da subito al riguardo. La macchina era in buone condizioni ma non proprio impeccabile, piena di graffi e strusciate sulla carrozzeria, volante consumato e sedili visibilmente datati. Lassicurazione copriva tali danni quindi ci è stato detto di non preoccuparci, anche se non ne abbiamo procurati di nuovi. Contava 80.000 km, il cambio (automatico ma utilizzabile anche in manuale) faticava ad inserire le marce, aveva sempre un singhiozzo nello scalare, e in salita risultava abbastanza noioso, soprattutto sui tratti più ripidi, in piano e in discesa non creava fastidi. I primi due giorni i freni hanno striduto e si sentiva uno strano suono provenire dalla ruota anteriore destra, ma fortunatamente si sono risolti da sé. I freni, a parte gli strani suoni, hanno retto benissimo anche nelle discese più scoscese. Avevo letto da moltissime recensioni che Madeira risulta unisola piena di strade ripide, scoscese e strette, ed in effetti i primi 4 giorni, allhotel dove alloggiavamo sulla montagna dietro Funchal, abbiamo sperimentato le asperità menzionate, ma per il resto si guidava senza troppe problematiche, almeno per chi è abituato a guidare in Italia in condizioni (soprattutto di traffico e parcheggio) ben peggiori. La macchina in salita spesso doveva tirare la prima oltre i 4000 giri (considerando che noi eravamo in 2), ma la vera difficoltà in realtà era trascinarla sulle strade montane in salite graduali ma costanti e lunghe diverse chilometri, dato che la potenza della macchina risultava estremamente limitata e bisognava tenere lacceleratore costantemente spianato. Consiglierei di prendere macchine leggermente più grandi (come le Clio, che si vedevano numerose in giro), ma con una potenza e una coppia migliori, per evitare di farsi venire crampi ai polpacci o stonarsi con gli RPM alti. In quanto alle dimensioni, come già detto, levando qualche strada e qualche tratto particolarmente stretto, e tenendo conto che è abitudine sullisola parcheggiare lungo la carreggiata, finché si resta entro i 4 metri o poco più non ci sono problemi. In generale un noleggio che consiglierei sia per il prezzo, che per la cordialità dello staff (hanno aspettato nonostante il nostro volo allandata in ritardo) che viene in aeroporto (su richiesta) e in maniera snella e veloce spiega tutto il necessario anche per il ritorno, ma con qualche appunto riguardo alla trasparenza sullassicurazione e le condizioni delle auto.

Nous avons choisi Point Car Rental sur les conseils du propriétaire de la Vila Marta. Pas de surprise sur le prix. Les cartes de débits françaises sont acceptées sans problème. Le payement s est fait en prenant possession du véhicule sans dépôt de garantie. Le kilométrage est illimité. Malgré notre manque de maîtrise du Portugais, Henrique, qui nous a accueilli à l aéroport, a su nous rassurer en nous donnant toutes les informations nécessaires via l application WhatsApp et en direct. Nous avions choisi une petite Panda, qui fait le job pour 2 personnes. Véhicule propre qui semble entretenu. Une très bonne expérience. Je recommande vivement.

We were in Madeira at beginning ofJuly and rented a car from Point Car Rental. Henrique delivered our hire car, he was friendly , he took time to explain everything about the car we were hiring .There was a technical fault, we called Henrique but he was on his day off , said not to worry he would contact his company and get back to us.Shortly after he called back saying that they would come the following day to collect the car & deliver a new car. In the future we will be definitely using their service again .We would highly recommend this car rental company. Thank you for making our holidays in Madeira more memorable.

Donaldo and Point Car Rental provided me with the best service Ive ever received at a car rental agency. Typically renting a car is full of pain and hassle...but not with these guys! I forgot to specify I needed automatic transmission when booking the car and I couldnt drive the manual they had for me on arrival. Luckily, Donaldo called around and found an automatic car for me that was available the next morning. Not only did Donaldo drive me from the airport to my Airbnb himself that evening, but he also delivered the automatic car to me the next morning. Talk about incredible service and kindness! On top of all of that, he only charged me for the manual rental price (a very pleasant surprise given the mix-up). I highly recommend booking with Point Car Rental -- their excellent service ensured I was able to make the most out of my 5 days on the beautiful island of Madeira.

Pretty efficient service, everything has been smooth as soon as we landed. Overall price including the baby seat is cheap! The most basic Fiat Panda works well for 2 persons and a kid, but I would not recommend it for more.

OK, the car we got was far from new and had quite a few scrapes and bashes but it was cheap and was all we needed. It was delivered and picked up to our door on time. Full insurance cover included in the price too although I dont think they would notice any new scrapes ! Id rent from them again.

My wife and I rented a Seat Ibiza manual from Point Car Rental for 14 days in March 2024. An absolute 100% plus recommendation. There was no deposit. The car was delivered to, and collected from, our apartment block. Car condition was excellent. In error, we put diesel in the tank - phoned PCR at about 7pm - Bruno came immediately and arranged tow truck and a replacement car - no fuss - no accusations - good humour - perfectly reasonable charge for flushing the diesel out. We cannot thank Bruno enough for his super response and customer care. This manual car (same model both before and after the dieselgate episode) handled the Madeira roads well (often steep, narrow and winding) with the two of us - however, I would recommend an automatic if you are not fully proficient in driving a manual car. Full insurance (other than using wrong fuel, tyres and keys) is included in the quoted price - no surprises at all. Again - a 100% plus recommendation.

Best experience renting a car! Not only did I choose a specific model, but it was cheaper than other competing services and the staff makes everything super easy! I decided to go with the Peugeot 208 1.2 Puretech and literally couldnt have been happier! Its plenty powerful, super easy on the hills (it has start and stop) and looks super cool too Android Auto worked flawlessly and seemed to get pretty good mileage. Picked it up at their offices in São Martinho because it was right by the place I was staying at and was just a 30 min walk coming from the hotel area... I know its unlikely, but if you are in a similar situation, just grab an uber, trust me (those hills man ). I booked an airport drop-off and was asked to drive normally to the airport but, instead of parking it I simply met up with one of their employees at the departures zone and delivered the car directly to them, which made it even easier and quicker! Definitely recommend their service, will use again on my next visit to the island!

I couldnt recommend it enough. Everything was perfect, theyve got the best prices and no hidden costs. The car was perfect and very clean. But a very special thanks goes to Enrique, who has been extremely kind. He suggested us a place to eat (which was too good, we went there two times during our stay) and he even dropped us straight in front of the airport entrance, when we were struggling with the parking (and risking being late for our flight) during the drop off. Bezahlt wurde bei Übergabe des Auto in bar. Ich hatte ein Hyundai i20 welches sehr modern und mit bester Ausstattung war. Wirklich top Service, dass Auto wurde am Hotel wieder abgeholt, den Schlüssel konnte man an der Hotel Rezeption abgeben und die Vermieter haben es dort abgeholt. Sehr unkompliziert und einfach. Kann ich Wirklich nur weiter empfehlen.

Got a better car than booked, The automatic Volgswagen Polo was brilliant uphills, we really enjoyed driving it. I think it was the cheapest option i could find for this class. Easy contact through WhatsApp, with full insurance everything is covered except interior, tires and lost keys, so there is not much to worry about. Man who met us at the airport explained everything and provided some tips, i would select this rental again once i am back in madeira.

Nous revenons tout juste de voyage. Je conseille pour la location de voiture. Quelqu un nous attend en sortie d aéroport avec la voiture (qui parle français), paiement sur place avec assurance tout inclus. Nous avions pris une petite Toyota Aygo pour nous deux, elle nous en aura fait gravir des montagnes à Madeire

Thank you Henrique! We rented a Mitsubishi Space Star, which at first seems like not such a strong car for the mountains of Madeira, but we had no problems driving it anywhere on the island. The car was clean, Henrique helped us with information and tips and everything is exactly like on the website, no surprises, full insurance and no extra costs.

I recommend to everyone! Next time I travel to Madeira, I will only choose point car rental. Our flight was delayed 1 hour, this was not a problem. Donaldo was waiting at the airport with the car. We rented a Fiat Panda, it was better than we expected, it had a digital display that we could connect to with the telephone cable. So we could easily use the gps. No hidden costs, reliable company.

Man hat mir am Flughafen diese Autovermietung empfohlen (Reservierung bei großer Agentur hat nicht geklappt). Habe von dem freundlichen Mitarbeitern von Point Car-Rental am nächsten Morgen ein Auto ans Hotel (ca 20 km weg von Funchal) geliefert bekommen. Zahlung auch mit EC-Karte oder Cash möglich. Das Auto war super motorisiert, was bei dem Gelände auf Madeira auch nötig ist. Rückgabe direkt am Flughafen. Einfacher geht es nicht. Bin begeistert!

Point Car Rental is very solid renting company, prices are very competitive, customer service very polite and responsive, the car was in perfect condition so neither I nor my girlfriend felt intimidated by Madeiras roads (believe me they are challenging). Pagamento feito no levantamento, sem burocracias ou franquias e com seguro de total cobertura, excepto pneus. Carro limpíssimo e com as cadeirinhas adequadas aos meus filhos. Foi dos melhores valores que encontrei para alugar automóvel. De negativo, e por escolha e desconhecimento meus, apenas a pouca potência do veículo. Recomendado para quem faça uma viagem à Madeira, e sugiro também que aluguem carros mais potentes e maior binário, vai ser necessário nas muitas subidas e descidas desta ilha.

We rent mitsubishi spacestar for 7 days during september. We are very satisfied about service and car. Before our rental Mr Donaldo very patiently answerd our questions. Car was delivered to hotel and at the last day of our journey we could also leave vehicle there. Car was full insured, and we havent any objections about use it. Die Abwicklung verlief völlig problemlos ... und selbst beim Problem der leeren Batterie (es wurde vergessen, das Licht auszuschalten) war innerhalb von weniger als 20 Minuten ein Mitarbeiter mit Überbrückungskabel vor Ort. Freundlich und hilfsbereit, trotz Feierabend! Optimal war das Angebot, mit dem Mietwagen bis zum Flughafen fahren zu können und das Fahrzeug dort abzustellen. Rundum ein perfekter Mietwagen- Service, den wir bei unserem nächsten Besuch auf Madeira bestimmt wieder in Anspruch nehmen werden!!!

Excellente expérience sans soucis Tarif plus intéressant que les majors habituels. Aucun acompte à la reservation et un employé très sympa nous attendais à l aéroport (à 23h !) comme convenu avec le véhicule. Lassurance tout risque est incluse et on laisse donc la voiture sur le parking avec les clefs dans la boite a gant ! Le paiement se fait aussi bien en cash quen carte bancaire lors de la prise en charge du véhicule. Je recommande ce loueur que je remercie à nouveau
