Wir hatten bereits das Vergnügen, unsere vierte Tour mit dem E-Bike Madeira Team zu machen, und es ist jedes Mal eine absolute Freude! Das gesamte Team ist professionell, freundlich und unglaublich engagiert, um jedem Teilnehmer eine unvergessliche Zeit zu bereiten. Die letzte Tour mit Marco war erneut ein Erlebnis, das auf unser Konto der unbezahlbarsten Momente kommt. Seine Herzlichkeit, Ortskenntnisse und Leidenschaft für Madeira machten die Tour zu einem Highlight. Er versteht es, die perfekte Mischung aus Abenteuer, Spaß und Entspannung zu schaffen. Die Streckenführung war beeindruckend und bot atemberaubende Aussichten, die man nur mit dem Bike in dieser Form erleben kann. Besonders schätzen wir, dass das Team immer darauf achtet, individuell auf die Wünsche und Bedürfnisse der Teilnehmer einzugehen. Ob Anfänger oder erfahrene Radfahrer jeder fühlt sich willkommen und bestens betreut. Auch wenn man außergewöhnliche Wünsche hat - es wird stets versucht diese zu erfüllen und die Vorstellungen werden übertroffen. Vielen Dank an das gesamte Team und besonders an Marco für die tollen Momente, die spannenden Geschichten und die perfekte Organisation. Wir werden diese Erlebnisse immer in Erinnerung behalten und freuen uns schon auf die nächste Tour! Bis ganz bald. Da bin ich mir sicher :)

Super Service und eine extrem gute Auswahl an Trails. Bei der privaten Tour bekommt man sehr viel Infos und auch noch Fahrtechnik Tips. Sehr gut eingestelltes Bike. Sehr freundlicher Guide und Shuttle Fahrer. Ein absolut tolles Erlebnis was ich bei meinem nächsten Urlaub wiederholen werde. Vielen Dank

Excelente Atendimento

Ich hatte für 5 Tage ein E-MTB hier gemietet um die Insel mit dem Bike selbstständig zu erkunden. Ich hatte mich im Vorfeld für das Standard Bike entschieden, es gibt auch noch Bergamont Räder als Premium Variante. Bekommen habe ich ein gepflegtes Mondbraker mit Bosch Motor und 750Wh, mit knapp 1750km auf dem Tacho. Mich hat gefreut, dass es keine abgerockte Hütte sondern ein vernünftiges E-Bike gab. Die Buchung hatte ich vorab von zuhause erledigt, was auch mit Anzahlung und der Kommunikation per Mail einwandfrei lief. Leider hatte ich 3x einen Platten, shit happens. Hier hat mir der Anbieter super geholfen und a) unkompliziert, b) schnell und c) ohne extra Kosten den Schlauch gewechselt. Das notwendige Kit um unterwegs auch selbst einen Schlauch zu wechseln gibts übrigens genauso inklusive dazu, wie einen Helm, wer den nicht selbst mitbringt. Gerade die Freundlichkeit des Teams vor Ort und die Unterstützung - auch als ich mobil liegengeblieben bin (der 3. platte reifen) - war super. Hier würde ich jederzeit wieder buchen und kann den Anbieter für E-Bikes nur empfehlen.

We booked the Fanal tour which should be skill level 2 with mostly red and blue trails. We ended up doing the Belle Vue tour instead. We got a notice while booking that this can happen if weather conditions are not good for the Fanal tour. At the day of the ride they just drove us up to the Belle Vue tour without informing us. So we made this tour where most of it was on tarmac and it was finished a little after 2pm including a quite long lunch break. This half day was not worth 180 at all. However the guide was friendly and nice.

Wir haben sehr leistungsstarke E-Bikes bekommen. In 5 Tagen ging es um die Insel. 1 Tag 1.500 Höhenmeter rauf und natürlich wieder runter. Die Räder haben alles mitgemacht. Super Deutsch sprechende Servicekraft

Wir haben für 4 Tage e-Fullys gemietet, incl. 2 Touren Level 1 /Level 2. Level 1 Tour wetterbedingt etwas kürzer als geplant. Zustand und Ausstattung der Bikes sehr gut, kleineres Feintuning auch sofort erledigt. Pedro ist ein sehr netter, fahrtechnisch versierter Guide. Biken auf Madeira ? unbedingt ausprobieren!

Walked in without a reservation and 15 minutes later was back out on a gravel bike. They not only switched the Garmin mount to a Wahoo mount so I could use my bike computer, they also put road pedals on the bike allowing me to use my own bike shoes. Will definitely choose them again when I m back in Madeira!

Très bonne expérience avec E-Bike Madeira avec la location simple de eMTB et deux sorties privées. Je les recommande pour le professionnalisme, la connaissance locale et la bienveillance.

We booked 2 tours: The first was the level 1 with two ebike fullies from Poiso to Machino. The group was very mixed level , the guide paid great attention to make sure everyone was comfortable and we made enough stops for refuelling & taking pictures. The second tour was even more fun, we took regular mountain bikes this time and did the level 1 tour on the west side of the island. This was mainly on dirt roads and just one single trail based on the skills of the group overall. Well worth the money and we even got dropped off at our apartment on the way back :) Thank you!

Wir hatten eine geführte Level 1 E-Bike Tour gebucht. Zu Beginn der Tour mussten wir leider feststellen, dass ein Akku fast leer war.Unser Guide organisierte telefonisch ein Ersatz-Fahrrad,welches nach einem Teil der Tour angeliefert wurde. Leider war der Motor des Ersatzfahrades defekt. Ich habe dann das Fahrrad des Guides bekommen, welcher die Tour mit dem defekten Fahrrad fortgesetzt hat. Wir mussten daher den Verlauf der Tour etwas umstellen. Die geänderte Strecke war aber auch schön. Fazit:Eine schöne Tour mit tollen Aussichten.Der positive Eindruck wurde jedoch durch den nicht einwandfreien tech. Zustand der Bikes etwas getrübt. Wobei das mehr den Guide als uns betroffen hat.Wichtig (aber eigentlich selbstverständlich) ist, dass man sein fahrerisches Können bei der Buchung der Tour korrekt einschätzt.Auch bei einer Level 1-Tour haben wir leichte Singel-Trails befahren.Dies geschah aber immer in Absprache mit dem Guide.Eine Umfahrung über Straßen/Waldwege wäre fast immer möglich gewesen.

Tolle Tour. Wir hatten Level zwei gebucht. Sehr anspruchsvolle Trails. Pedro war ein toller Guide. Top Bikes. Rundum nur zu empfehlen.

Wenn ich 0 Sterne vergeben könnte, würde ich das sofort machen! Wir hatten damals dort einen Roller gemietet, der schon absolut marode war und nurnoch einen Außenspiegel hatte. Daraufhin wurde uns nur gesagt, das würde kein Problem darstellen und wir sollen im Falle der Polizei bei ihnen anrufen. Absolut professionell. Denn wir haben mit unserem Leben gespielt. Und sind nämlich den Berg runter beide Bremsen versagt und somit knapp dem Tod entgangen. Wir haben gerade so überlebt, mein Mann jedoch mit 2 Beckenbrüchen und einem komplett zertrümmerten Ellenbogen, was ihn sein Leben lang beeinträchtigt. Das Traumata lässt mich bis heute nicht los. Und was macht E Bike Madeira am nächsten Tag, als sie davon erfahren haben ?! Uns frech anrufen und fragen ob wir bei ihnen vorbei kommen könnten aus Versicherungsgründen, damit wir was unterschreiben und sie noch Kohle bekommen wegen dem kaputten Roller!!! Würdet ihr euer Geld mal lieber in eine gescheite Wartung stecken. Wir haben die ganze Nacht im Krankenhaus verbracht und mein Mann konnte zu dem Zeitpunkt keinen Schritt laufen und saß im Rollstuhl.. monatelang!!! Absolut herzlos. Und was macht e bike Madeira nachdem wir unser Schmerzensgeld einholen wollten ?! Richtig, nichtmal antworten. Ihr seid wirklich der letzte Abschaum an Menschen. Das so ein Unfall mal passieren kann, kann man keinem übel nehmen., zumindest wenn der Roller richtig gewartet gewesen wäre ;) Aber sich dann im Nachhinein so ekelhaft zu verhalten gegenüber Menschen die fast ihr Leben wegen euch gelassen hat unmenschlich und widerwärtig. Was wir nach diesem Unfall noch durchmachen mussten.. aber diesem Laden ist jedes Menschenleben egal. Ich glaube an Karma und hoffentlich bekommt ihr eures.

Went on vacation, rented 2 bikes. Bikes were in excellent condition and staff what courteous & attentive to assist us with setting bikes up. They also gave us clear directions on the route we rode. 5 hours of cycling heaven!

Dies war bereits meine zweite Toure mit E-Bike Madeira. Ein absolut gigantischer Ausflug von ca. 1600 Metern bis hinunter zum Meer. Es war alles dabei von entspannten Levada-Abschnitten bis hin zu anspruchsvollen Singel-Trails. Wem die Trails zu schwierig waren, konnte außen herum oder sogar im Transporter mitfahren (absolut super Service). Sehr tolles und professionelles Team. Mein Fahrrad wurde sogar unterwegs ausgetauscht, da es Softwareprobleme hatte. 5 von 5 Sternen!

Great local shop with friends staff and quality bikes. They offer guided tours but I unfortunately only had time on this trip to make a half day trip work. I was able to rent a quality e-mountain bike as I wanted to do as many laps as I could in the few hours I had. Its my first time riding an e-mountain bike and the climb was mostly dirt and paved road so it made the ability to do a few more loops on the fun single-track possible. Highly recommend this shop because of their friends staff, they accommodated my schedule and the bike was in great condition. They also provided me with all the gear I needed for the day....including helmut, allen wrench and spare tires if needed. Great shop and Ill definitely be doing a guided trip with them on my next trip to Madeira.

Rented a gravel bike here. It was in perfect condition. Gears were working very smooth. Did many kilometers on steep hills up and down. No issues with bike at all. They brought and took away bike by themselves as I was staying on the other side of island and was not able to get a bike by myself. Totally recommend this rental.

Estuve el 4 de Enero de este año, y la experiencia fue un desastre. He reservado un tour de MTB y éramos 7 personas, estuvimos por Fanal. Todos hemos llegado a la hora, la camioneta que nos ha llevado estaba limpia y todo bien el guía muy colaborador y simpático. Llegamos al inicio de la ruta y cuando fuimos a probar cada bicicleta ninguna estaba al día, no le habían hecho mantenimiento en años un desastre. -Mi bicicleta no le habían ajustado la presión de la suspensión, cuando el guía fue a echarle aire, el inflador no funcionaba( perdimos como 15 minutos) -la bicicleta de otro se le rompió la cadena al momento de que el chico la ha probado ( de le reparo, perdimos 15 minutos para que la repararan) -otra se le ha roto la pata del cambio y le tuvieron que dar otra bicicleta( perdimos al rededor de 25 minutos) Cabe destacar que el Guía que nos tocó era muy majo y siempre estuvo con muy buena actitud para arreglar las cosas, pero las herramientas que tenía no le ayudaba. Después de más de 45 minutos de espera y reparar las bicicletas finalmente salimos. La ruta la conocía porque la había hecho la semana anterior con otra empresa de alquiler de bicicletas. La ruta eran pistas rojas y azules, algo que me sorprendió porque nunca preguntaron por el nivel de ciclismo que tenéis cada rider y habían principiantes ( no teníamos protecciones ni casco integral) Al pasar 25 minutos de comenzar la ruta, se le han roto los cambios de la bicicleta del guía 30 min mas perdidos . Tuvo que quitarlos y bajar por gravedad porque le tuvo que quitar cambios y cadenas para continuar. Finalmente hicimos el recorrido por lugares hermosos, pero lamentablemente la experiencia no fue buena. EL CONTRATO QUE SE FIRMA EN LA RESERVA DICE QUE TODO DAÑO DE LA BICICLETA DEBE SER PAGADO, en este caso el guía estaba consciente de que no fue culpa de nadie y no se tuvo que pagar.

Sehr zu empfehlen! Ich habe am 31.7.2023. ein Rennrad abgeholt. Es war neu, in Top-Zustand und obwohl nur telefonisch und per Mail besprochen, perfekt auf meine Grösse eingestellt. Im Geschäft konnte ich dann noch den Mechanikern zusehen und war extrem froh über deren Teamgeist und Qualität der Arbeit: Profis bei der Arbeit. Mit vollem Vertrauen ging es dann von Funchal nach Porto Moniz zum Teil mit mehr als 20% Gefälle. Toll, wenn man da so gutes Material und Vertrauen zur Montage hat. Es hängt ja doch das eigene Leben dran. P.S.: Deutsch wurde bei E-Bike Madeira auch noch gesprochen. Super.

Alquilamos dos MTB eléctricas y pudimos subir al pico de Arieiro sin problemas. Las bicis estaban en buen estado y la atención en la tienda muy buena. Nos quedamos con las ganas de hacer unas rutas guiadas de enduro con ellos. Lo dejamos para la próxima vez.

Great service. Paid 60 for two full days for a 750 Bosch motored bike and seen most of the west coast of Madeira ( take the old E222). Stored my baggage there overnight and had a great experience.

My son wanted to go on a 30km tour through the mountains today. Unfortunately, the motor of the e-bike was defective, meaning that the tour could no longer be continued after a few kilometers of ascent. After requesting a solution, the manager was only willing to refund a fraction of the price. Please do not book with this bike rental company!!!

Heute wollte ich eine Fahrradtour mit meinem Freund machen, habe ein E-Mountainbike gemietet. Leider war der Motor des E-Bikes defekt, sodass wir nach einigen Kilometern des Aufstiegs die Tour abbrechen mussten. Nach telefonischer Rücksprache wurde uns empfohlen die Tour abzubrechen. Nach einer kurzen Diskussion mit einem Mitarbeiter, waren diese nur bereit uns einen Bruchteil der 130 zurückzuzahlen. Der Mitarbeiter blieb freundlich, was ich ihm hoch anrechne. Er ist anscheinend nur ein Sprachrohr des Managers. Dennoch gibt es von mir nur einen Stern, weil uns versprochen wurde, das der Akku des E-Bikes für mindestens 100km ausreicht. Nach circa 15km war der Akku leer. Somit war unser Tagesausflug ruiniert und unsere Reisebörse leichter.

Mir wurde per Mail eine Reservierung für 2 Rennräder bestätigt. Als ich dann dort ankam, sagte man mir die Räder seien nicht mehr verfügbar, da sie einen Fehler gemacht hätten. Alternativ wurden uns 2 alte Räder (Alu und Felgenbremsen angeboten) in keinem guten Zustand angeboten - ohne Preisnachlass. Eine Zeitverschwendung.

We brought bikes in at 16.30 after riding with a lot of repairs to be done and they welcomed us with smiles and worked extra hours just to fix our bikes. They did an amazing job everything was perfect!

Great company & staff. During a mountainbike ride I destroyed the rear wheel (derailleur got smashed into the spokes after hitting a rock). The wheel was rebuild by E-bike Madeira the next day so I could continue riding asap. In addition to the wheelbuild, the guys installed my CushCore and tire (within no time) - at no extra cost. Great service & professionalism. Would recommend!

Wonderful experience. If you re even considering this, don t hesitate, book it. I would also suggest you request Nuno knowledgable, caring, funny as hell and conscientious. He really made our day. The whole experience E-bike was wonderful. We opted for electric mountain bikes to cover decent Distance down the mountain.

We had the best day in Madeira with Mario. He chose the best trails, challenged us but kept things safe. Great variety and lunch spot was mighty. Thoroughly recommend.

I had two good rides with Mario, an initial level 1 ride and then a level 2 ride. The e-Bikes are capable (and a very good idea if doing any climbing although actually we did very little). They do give a very useful boost when you need to go from slow and tricky ground and clear a rise or obstacle. Fairly small groups and a knowledgeable and capable guide who also helped with lines in the tricky sections and encouraged but never pushed people to ride what they didn t feel comfortable with. Well worth the 95 a trip. Recommendations, bring your cycling shoes, they have SPD and other clipped pedals available.

Fiz a reserva de um tour de iniciantes mas a empresa decidiu mudar o tour para intermédio porque queriam juntar mais duas pessoas ao nosso grupo de 4, claro que a experiência não correu bem. Uma coisa que não é bem explícito é que o aumento de dificuldade é em termos de terrenos mais técnicos e não de esforço ou capacidade física! Está alteração promovida pela empresa só nos foi dado a conhecer já dentro da carrinha de transporte para o local de início do tour. As bicicletas também não estavam em ótimas condições. Mandei mail a reclamar com a situação é a solicitar fatura há vários dias ainda não me responderam não recomendo fazer tours com a ebike madeira

Group of 4, that requested for Tour 1 with more cross country on E-Bike (level 1), since one person of the group was not confortable riding. No briefing was done at the shop of what it was supposed to do, safety rules, etc. In the van, the guide mentioned that the tour would be for level 2, since it was the information received. Level 2, was much more enduro and 2 persons of the group quit after the 2nd ride, not gowing for the 3rd ride. Communication failed between what it was agreed with the shop and with the guide. Bikes were not 100% fit, and the guide didnt bring gear for simple repais. One bike had the front break in poor condition and another one had flat pedals, with very poor grip. Great views in the mountains!

Wir hatten unsere Mountainbike-Tour bereits vorab zuhause gebucht und bei Fragen wurden wir sehr gut beraten. Am Tag der Tour war leider den ganzen tag Regen angesagt aber uns wurde die Möglichkeit gegeben die Tour kostenfrei auf einen anderen Tag zu verlegen. Wir haben die Tour trotz Regen gemacht und es war unvergesslich. Wir hatten einen super Tag und unser Guido Nuno war einfach klasse! Gerne wieder und nur zu empfehlen: super freundlich und hilfsbereit, top Erlebnis!

Unfortunately, I had a bad experience with this bike shop. We rented two E-MTB Fullys. The rented bikes had certain defects. For example, on the first one, the air pressure was not right for my bike and I had to pump it up directly after the first kilometres. In addition, the gears didnt work properly and I couldnt use all the gears. Besides, my chain has come off several times. On my friends bike, the brakes (which you should definitely check beforehand if you rent bikes that are meant for a downhill experience) didnt work properly and had to be readjusted, plus they were very loud. So we couldnt ride any trails. Apart from the defects on the bikes, the staff and the main manager were not very friendly when we told them about our experience. The head manager didnt even make the slightest effort and didnt even look up from his PC or talk to us in English. According to the motto: Oh, they are here on holiday, we wont see them again, it doesnt matter what they say.

We had a great day with Mario! At first I was afraid of the level because my boyfriend was experienced and I was totally not, but Mario adjusted the road for each of us. He gave useful tips and made sure it was safe but still challenging and fun. The road was beautiful, we had a lovely little group of five and we would definitely recommend it to everybody. No matter your level of experience.

Had a great day out on the trails. The Cannondale E bikes are perfect as hire bikes as I booked on impulse once already on the Island so did not have the option of riding my own bike. There were four of us on the tour plus the guide. We were very much two standards of rider yet Ross, our guide, did a great job of keeping us together without it being obvious that two riders were faster than the other two. We all started and finished together on all the trails. The trails are technical and natural with some really nice flows. Definitely recommend booking a guide as these guys know where all the best trails are and tailor the route to your ability. Top day!!

Première expérience VTT sur Madère réussi avec des vélos au top et une super vue tout le long de la balade.

Très bonne expérience sur le tour belle vue, nous sommes descendus jusquà locean sur une quarantaine de kilomètres. Le guide sadapte au rythme/niveau du groupe. Les vues sur Madère sont superbes, nous avons également longé une levada Les vélos étaient étonnamment performants, ça avance quasiment tout seul, le top Une activité incontournable à Madère !

Nett und hilfsbereit. Ebikes besser vorbestellen

Scheduled an enduro raid with 5 months prior notice (prepaid and confirmed). 2 days before the event, they informed me that the raid was cancelled, because there wasnt a minimum of two (condition not mentioned upon reservation). They offered me instead a raid level 2, for another date, that I accepted because they said it was intermediate level. It turn out to be an easy XC raid on an ebike (not enduro!!), together with a family of 4, with low to none skills. The guide made an honest try to find some trails for me, which were done and dusted before the first hour of ride.

Wir hatten im voraus die Tour 1 gebucht und angezahlt. Am Tag der Tour war mit uns noch eine weitere Person vor Ort, welche vermutlich eine andere Tour gebucht hatte. Im Van wurde dann eine andere Route angekündigt die auch einfach zu fahren sei - laut Guide. Die Tour war deutlich schwieriger, inklusive Trails am Anfang (wovon nichts in der Beschreibung stand) und ist definitiv nicht für Anfänger oder Personen die vorher noch nie Mountainbike gefahren sind geeignet. Hierdurch kam es auch zu Stürzen mit zum Glück nur leichten Verletzungen. Ein Großteil der Strecke verlief auf einem schmalen Weg entlang der Levadas, auf welchem immer wieder große Steine oder Wurzeln waren. Auf einer Seite ging es oft etliche Meter in die Tiefe... hier macht man besser keine Fehler beim Lenken. Unser Guide war nett und hilfsbereit, wenn ich jedoch im Voraus explizit eine Tour buche, erwarte ich als Kunde, dass ich diese auch bekomme! Ich habe die Tour bei dem Fahrradladen aufgrund der Bewertungen bei Google gebucht, würde dies jedoch nicht erneut tun. Andere Rezensionen, welche ich vorher leider nicht gesehen habe, berichten auch von geänderten und deutlich schwierigeren Touren. Die Fahrräder waren OK, auch wenn diese mal wieder einen Tropfen ÖL vertragen könnten. Die Landschaft auf Madeira ist wirklich atemberaubend, lässt sich aber auch auf ungefährlichere Art erleben.

Wir hatten die Tour 1 gebucht, welche die einfachste sein sollte. Die Tour war aber definitiv nur für erfahrene Mountainbiker geeignet. Es ging etliche Kilometer weit über Stock und Stein. Es war auf jeden Fall nicht die Tour die wir gebucht hatten. Auch auf unsere Nachfrage wurde nicht eingegangen. Die Wege sind sehr schmal und es ging an der Seite steil bergab. Wir sind froh dass es für uns glimpflich ausgegangen ist aber finden es unverantwortlich, Anfängern dieser Gefahr auszusetzen. Wir hätten unser Geld besser anders investiert.

Very mixed feelings. The bikes are good. We pre-booked the bikes for 5 days and payed 5 days, but were told on the first day, that we had to return them at 3pm on the last day, because the shop only opened. Also at the first day we were told that no helmets are required. When we passed the shop on another day, a guy told us that helmets were mandatory and there would be a 250 euros fine - which turned out to be a lie. I think there are honesty and reliability issues with this shop.

We went for the Tour Belle Vue with E-Bike Fully Suspension and our guide was Ross. We were around 7 people and our guide catered for everyones level. The tour selected was moderate and the e-bikes were more than capable. It was a breeze really to go through rock gardens, steep descents and ascents, tree branches, mud, etc. We had a splendid day and the views are breath taking. This was one of the highlights of our holiday and Im happy Ive decided to do it. Definitely recommend for the adventurous people as the rewards are plenty.

Ich habe eine Level 2 Tour und ein XL Rad gebucht. Die Trails die wir gefahren sind waren super und unser Guide und unser Fahrer auch. Leider habe ich erst beim Start erfahren dass ich kein XL Rad bekomme, sondern nur ein Fahrrad in L. Das war sehr ärgerlich, aber nicht mehr zu ändern. Nach zwei Trails ist mir dann die Kette gerissen. Leider hatte unser Guide kein Werkzeug oder Ersatz dabei, deswegen musste ich auf ein M Fahrrad umsteigen. Wenn ich das gebuchte Rad bekommen hätte und der Guide ein Minimum an Werkzeug dabei gehabt hätte, gäbe es 5 Sterne. Es ist zu empfehlen dass man seinen eigenen Helm und Protektoren mitbringt.

I recommend this rental company! Super-prepared bikes, affordable prices, we will definitely use it again. I would like to add that we had an accident on one bike, 10 km from Funchal and the owner without thinking after 20 minutes came to help and repaired the bike. Great service!

Leider können wir e-bike Madeira nicht empfehlen. Wir hatten zwei e-bikes gemietet, wovon bei einem die niedrigsten zwei Gänge nicht funktionierten. Bei Anstiegen von bis zu 20%, wie sie in Funchal üblich sind, quasi nicht fahrbar. Die Bremsen brachten es lediglich auf maximal 70% der zu erwartenden Bremsleistung und gaben zudem Geräusche von sich, dass einem Angst und bange wurde. Die Reifen hatten so gut wie kein Profil. Die Fahrräder werden hier offenbar so gut wie nicht gewartet.

I really like mountainbiking so i wanted to explore Madeira by MTB. I had the opportunity to join the E-bike tour (level 2) with 2 other people. - The guide, Mario, was kind and willing to help at any point. He wants to make sure everyone is safe and doing OK. During some stops he gave more information about the island, plants, citys... - Trails were nice. Some flow, rocks, roots, technical parts and jumps (although i cant do jumps). The Madeiran ice made some parts of the trails slippery and so, more challenging for me. I was hoping to do more offroad trails, because the last part of the day we decended on asphalt and trough the city (Funchal). We started at 9u00 and finished at the bike stop at +- 14u40. - The E-bike was powerfull and in great condition, but the flat padels were way to slippery. I crashed one time because of the padels and i would diffently feel more confident on better pedals. I would recommend E-bike Madeira. All guys are nice and willing to help you to find a tour suitable for you, weither you are a beginner or more advanced. Great way to explore the island.

Very good and competent service by the team. Bicycles are of excellent quality for road racing and mountain cyclists. You can get an e-bike with a second battery if you go more than an altitude of 2000m. Ask the owner for tours ... he will offer guided ones as well.

Bon accueil de Sergio. Pour la sortie en e-bike, le guide est très sympa, compétent, à lécoute du groupe et des attentes de chacun. La première heure, le guide évalue le niveau de chacun, puis adapte le parcours pour que chacun prenne du plaisir à rouler avec son niveau. Jai passé une très bonne journée à rouler avec ce petit groupe et Nono comme guide. Par contre, Sergio devrait être plus vigilant et rigoureux pour lentretien des e-bike. Dans le groupe de 4 personnes, la hauteur de selle dun VTT na pas pu être réglée, un autre avait un frein arrière défaillant, et un troisième a perdu une pédale.

Absolutely wonderful bike. We were a bit skeptical renting a 125cc considering the steep terrains but it was perfect. We pretty much covered the entire island of Madeira from Funchal to Porto Moniz, Santana and back. The owner Jorma is a wonderful guy, he even suggested us a pretty good Indian restaurant. The renting process was straightforward and you just need your license. No issues about insurance or damages. Got some off season discounts as well. Best place to rent a ebike or a bicycle in Maderia.

Rode with 3 guides all of them were friendly, knowledgeable and did their best to accommodate groups needs and skill level. Unfortunately as name suggest they ride mostly ebikes which depending on chosen level might be a disadvantage. Generally very positive experience, highly recommend

Went for a day E bike tour with my wife our guide Nuno was excellent. From the start the bikes were set up for our weight and braking preference and helmets supplied. Driven to the mountains and dropped off with a 25mile run through single track, fire roads and levardas. Fabulous views even in the rain! Despite the difference in riding abilities Nuno catered for everyone with more or less exiting routes when required. At the end we had a late lunch and a lift back to our hotel. Great day, great guide, will be back

Hier kann man sich ein sehr gut gewartetes und modernes E-Bike ausleihen. Die Fahrräder sind sehr gepflegt. Der Akku des E-Bikes war auf dem neuesten Stand und hat es leicht von Funchal auf den Pico Arieiro geschafft. Wenn ich wieder ein E-Bike in Madeira ausleihen möchte, würde ich zu diesem Geschäft gehen. Auch der Service ist sehr lobenswert.

Very nice guided mountain biking tour - we went down from Paiso pass back to Funchal with our guide, in a small group of 4 people. Our guide made it super nice for everyone, adapting the level, waiting for everyone to gather, trying to satisfy the expectations of everybody. We definitely loved the day, and can only recommend the experience!

Enjoyed a wonderful whole day cycling with Marco our group leader. We chose to do the Mountain E-bike experience. The bikes are loaded on the car trailer, because you start the ride part way in on the Island. We rode 54 kilometres within the day from 10.00 to16.00 hrs, with a stop for lunch of 45 minutes. Marco takes you on some varied tracks and trails and stops for you to enjoy some spectacular view points. The bikes electric power - cycling assist - allows you the rider to pedal and coast down hill as you would on normal bike. However the hills are flattened with the aid of the electric E-bike of Madeira. If you like cycling or mountain biking, do pay for a brilliant experience and youll include the mountains of Madeira to your repertoire.

Highly recommended! Sergio and his colleagues were most helpful and knowledgeable. We hired two e-bikes for a week and it was an amazing experience. I wholly recommend to explore Madeira with e-bikes from Sergio. At the end of our holiday, he was kind enough to come and pick up the bicycles with his van. Super friendly and a wonderful experience overall.

Two great guys Sergio and Mario, sorted with ebikes and a great ride in Madeiras mountains. Mario was very careful to check our abilities and take us on appropriate trails with stunning views. Also very knowledgeable about his home island including a food stop which was cheap and entertaining. 5 hours of Fab riding.

Had a days riding on a full suspension Lappier ebike. The 2 guides were excellent, Nuno and Mario. We were part of a great group of people. The guides quickly assessed our riding level and matched the difficulty of the riding to each person. Lots of single track, some road, stops for lunch and to take awesome photos. Lots of local knowledge shared en-route. A fantastic day!

Danke an die Leute von e-bike Madeira für einen tollen Tag auf den Trails und in der Natur von Madiera. Alles, von der Anmeldung für eine Tour, über das Bike, bis hin zu den Guides Nuno und Mario und den anderen Mitarbeitern im Shop ist alles spitze. Ich habe mich für eine Tour angemeldet. Am Ende wurde mir eine andere Tour, mit einem E-Fully empfohlen....Sergio hat gleich gesehen, dass die verschiedenen Niveaus zu weit auseinander gehen, als dass eine gemeinsame Tour für alle Spaß machen würde. Im Voraus bezahlen? Sergio hat ganz lässig darauf reagiert Alles zu seiner Zeit ;) Dann ging es auch schon los. Mit dem Auto in die Berge von Madeira. Von da, durch verschiedenes Terrain..Schlamm, Wald, Wiese, Straße alles dabei. Die Guides waren super lässig und entspannt. Während der Tour wurden einige wissenswerte Sachen erklärt und stets geguckt, dass alle mitkommen/Anschluss haben und halten. Ganz, ganz toll gemacht, von Anfang bis Ende. Kleiner Bonus zum Schluss der Shuttle zum Hotel, das ist Service! Jeder Zeit wieder mit den Jungs und der Crew. War echt mega!!

We got there a bit late that day at around 3 pm and asked for a 4-hours rental of 2 mountain e-bikes. The guy got the bikes ready in minutes and offered us a later drop-off (official opening hours until 6 pm) and a little discount. That s great service. I can really recommend this place!

Wir haben hier zwei verschiedene E-Bike Touren gemacht und waren beide Male absolut begeistert. Die E-Bikes sind in sehr gutem Zustand und man kann unterschiedliche Touren buchen, wir hatten beide Male Rundfahrten mit Singletrails dazwischen. Die Trails hier sind toll und mit den E-Bikes schafft man einfach mehr Strecke als auf einem normalen Mountainbike. Unser Guide war Mario, ihn kann ich besonders empfehlen. Er passt den Schwierigkeitsgrad individuell an das Können der einzelnen Personen an, brieft einen vor jedem Trail wo die Schwierigkeiten liegen und hilft, wenn man sich unsicher fühlt. Ich würde E-Bike Madeira zu 100% weiter empfehlen und wir kommen hierher sicher wieder

Booked a XC tour with E-bikes Madeira. We where a mixed skilled group, our guide Sergio did a great job in making sure we all had fun. Beautiful single trails. Would do it again.

We rented both mountanbikes and scooter here and it was super excellent. Very good and safe bikes and scooter! Jorma(the owner) was so nice and cool! he was also very flexible with the rentings. We got all what we needed. helmets and equipment if we punctured. we could also change the bikes if needed. Jorma really took his time to show us good routes and trails (maps and google street view for difficult points) and how to / when to go with the busses. he printed the necessary papers to get through this as well. all in all a great great experience with jorma and his company. thank you jorma - see you next time in madeira :)
