Ich hatte für drei Tage einen 125er Hondaroller. Dieser hatte rund 20.000 km drauf war aber in einem guten Zustand. Die Funktion der Handyhalterung konnte ich mir nicht herleiten. Hatte aber auch nicht danach gefragt :-). Was mich letzlich dazu bewegt dort zu leihen war die Möglichkeit eine Versicherung ohne Eigenbeteiligung zu bekommen. Die Mitarbeiter waren super freundlich, haben die Funktionen des Fahrzeugs verdtändlich erklärt. Leihprozess und Rückgabe der Kaution verliefen völlig entspannt.

We got a scooter that broke down ONE HOUR into driving. We drove on totally normal roads and while we were driving in a tunnel the scooters rim literally broke (the metal piece was totally shattered) while we were driving on a totally fine and no bumpy road. They ensured us that this was not our mistake and brought us a new bike, took ANOTHER deposit and after we left Madeira they did not pay back 1,5 deposit - so they kept the other deposit as well, saying it was somehow our mistake now. Total scam to get more money out of customers. The DANGER of a RIM braking in a tunnel in itself is crazy, then they had the nerves to ensure us this is not your mistake! and then later ADDITIONALLY took our deposit?

We had an amazing ride around the island. Service is friendly and well informed, job done wery well. Thank you for this service.

Wir haben am 23.12.24 2 125 Honda Roller gemietet. Wir haben uns vorab auf der Hompage erkundigt und der Verleih wirkte auf uns Seriös. Als wir ankammen waren die Roller teurer als auf der Hompage und Leistungen wie Handschuhe und Handyhalter sollten extra bezahlt werden, obwohl als inklusivleistung auf der Hompage angepriesen. Vermutlich normale Touristenabzocke. Die Roller wirkten äußerlich gepflegt, auch wenn sie schon über 25000Km runter hatten. Wir fuhren los und alles schien in Ordnung. Wir fuhren in die Berge von Funchal. Wir fuhren über eine leichte Kuppel und danach ging es steil bergab und es passierte was nicht passieren darf: die Vorderradbremse hatte keinen Bremsdruck mehr und der Hebel ließ sich ohne Wiederstand zum Lenker ziehen. Man kann sich vorstellen, welch ein Schock das war nun allein mit der völlig überforderten Hinterradbremse den Steilen Berg den Roller zum anhalten zu bewegen, zum Glück ging es dann wieder ein Stück bergauf. Eine kurze Anlyse ergab, dass die Bremsflüssigkeit offenbar gekocht hat. Die Farbe der Flüssigkeit war dunkelgelb bis fast braun, was auf überalterung und Wasser in der Flüssigkeit schließen lässt. Als wir die Roller zurückgeben wiesen wir dem Vermieter darauf hin, die Antwort war erschreckend: das wäre normales overheating. Ihm war offensichtlich nicht klar was passiert ist und welche Folgen die mangelnde Wartung hat. Als erfahrene Motorroadfahrer ist uns durchaus bewusst dass eine Bergabfahrt für so ein Roller mangels Motorbremse eine Herausforderung für die Bremse ist und benutzen natürlich beide Bremsen. Auch ist es normal, dass die Bremswirkung etwas nachlässt und Fading auftreten kann, aber niemals darf der Bremsdruck von eine Bremsung zur nächsten komplett weg sein. Ich kann nur jedem, der an seinem Leben hängt abraten dort einen Roller zu mieten.

Wir waren rundum sehr zufrieden. Super gute Beratung, nettes Personal, fairer Preis und natürlich ein toller Roller. Die Kaution haben wir direkt am selben Tag der Abbuchung zuverlässig zurück bekommen. Jegliche negativen Bewertungen können wir nicht nachvollziehen!! Eine Sache noch, solltet ihr nicht oft Roller fahren und es in Madeira mal probieren wollen: passt auf die steilen Straßen auf!! Die Bremsen überhitzen da schnell mal und es kann gefährlich werden. Motorbremse nutzen, Pausen einlegen. Hat aber mit dem Roller aus diesem Verleih super geklappt :)

abbiamo noleggiato per una settimana uno scooter (a nome del mio amico che guidava, guidatore esperto patentato da anni). lo scooter sembrava in buone condizioni generali, motore ok, motorino con 19000 km, ci hanno consigliato di prendere un honda pcx 125 che vedete in foto (probabilmente perché non avevano altri mezzi disponibili più potenti). il freno posteriore funzionava male, era consumatissimo e rallentava a malapena il mezzo. il primo giorno scendendo da funchal monte a funchal centro il freno anteriore ha smesso di funzionare, la leva si tirava totalmente a vuoto. potete immaginare il nostro panico, siamo vivi per miracolo. anche usando entrambi i freni siamo riusciti a salvarci solo sfruttando una piccola salita improvvisa che ci ha rallentato, esperienza terribile. quando si tratta della vita delle persone la manutenzione dovrebbe essere la prima cosa.

Excellent rental company in Funchal. Francisca is a an absolute gentleman as are the other guys who work here. I rented an almost brand new Africa twin for two days and after my credit card wouldn t work I paid with my debit card and this was refunded promptly on my return it did take a couple of days to show in my account. I m absolutely delighted with the service I received and would say forget the rest of the hire companies use these guys you will be in good professional hands. I can t wait to return to this fantastic place and rent the same bike again. Well done guys

The best rental company on Madeira. Renting a scooter was uncomplicated and took a short amount of time. The employees spoke very good English and were available in their office or via phone. Prenotati 3 scooter 300cc per 7 giorni. Potenza perfetta per percorrere le ripide strade madeirensi e ampio pozzetto per riporre caschi, zaini ecc, anche il bauletto molto capiente. I difetti di questi scooter erano un paio, il primo, in assoluto il peggiore, che caratterizzava tutti e 3 gli scooter, era il malfunzionamento del freno posteriore, andava in surriscaldamento dopo veramente pochi metri di frenata e ciò comportava una corsa a vuoto della leva del freno che quindi non azionava completamente il freno. Gli altri vari problemi erano il cavalletto troppo corto di uno scooter che praticamente lo faceva ribaltare e il completo malfunzionamento del freno di stazionamento di uno scooter a 3 ruote. Lultima situazione poco simpatica è stato al momento della riconsegnare degli scooter, i pos per lo storno della caparra non andavano e quindi ci siamo dovuti affidare alla preghiera che facessero i bonifici per rimborsarci il tutto. Sono passati 6gg dalla mail che attestava il fatto che avessero emesso i bonifici, ma ancora sul conto non è arrivato nulla. AGGIORNAMENTO AD 1 SETTIMANA E MEZZO: di 3 cauzioni che dovevano arrivare ne è arrivata solo una. Unaltra si rifiutano di trovare una soluzione dato che non è ancora arrivata e infine per la terza cauzione si sono inventati che abbiamo rotto il freno a mano di uno scooter, il problema? È che di questo mal funzionamento ci era stato detto immediatamente al ritiro del mezzo. Una truffa in piena regola

I have booked a scooter, Piaggio MP3, for a week and they told me straight away that the handbrake was already broken. When I returned the scooter they told me that EVERYTHING was okay, with zero problem. Now, a week later, they have come up with an excuse to keep some of the money i paid beforehand, they told me that the handbrake is burned and therefore they would take money away from me for something whose fault was not mine. Extremely disrespectful, I dont recommend it to anyone.

Autentica truffa. Hanno inventato un problema che non esisteva ma dopo che avessimo già lasciato l isola, quindi non permettendoci di discutere di persona con l ufficio di rental effettivo. Hanno trattenuto la cauzione per problemi che hanno voluto inventare tanto per intascare ulteriori soldi quando in realtà gli scooter da noi noleggiati sono stati trattati maniacalmente con estrema cura. Altamente sconsigliato.

Non noleggiate gli scooter da loro! truffano e si inventano problemi DOPO che si torna a casa dall isola di Madeira cosicché non si possa più fare nulla. Chiedono 500 di cauzione a scooter e poi ne trattengono una parte per problemi inesistenti. Sconsigliatissimo !!

Esperienza terribile - Evitate a tutti i costi! Ho noleggiato uno scooter con questa compagnia durante la mia recente vacanza a Madeira, e lesperienza è stata semplicemente disastrosa. Allinizio tutto sembrava andare bene: lo scooter era in buone condizioni e il processo di noleggio è stato rapido e senza intoppi. Tuttavia, una volta tornato a casa, ho scoperto lamara verità. Dopo qualche giorno dalla fine della vacanza, ho ricevuto una e-mail dalla compagnia che mi informava di danni allo scooter, con tanto di richiesta di pagamento per una cifra esorbitante. Questi danni erano assolutamente inventati e non mi sono stati segnalati al momento della riconsegna. È evidente che hanno aspettato che io fossi lontano e fuori dal paese per inventarsi dei problemi e cercare di spillarmi soldi ingiustamente. Ho provato a contestare queste accuse, ma la loro risposta è stata arrogante e priva di qualsiasi reale intenzione di risolvere il problema. Purtroppo, trovarsi a distanza rende molto difficile agire contro questo tipo di truffa. È chiaro che questa compagnia approfitta dei turisti che non possono più difendersi una volta tornati a casa. Consiglio vivamente a chiunque di evitare di noleggiare scooter da questa compagnia. Ci sono molte altre opzioni più oneste e affidabili a Madeira. Non fatevi ingannare come è successo a me!

Die Dienste von Rent-a-Scooter Funchal haben wir in den letzten fünf Jahren ca. 15 Mal in Anspruch genommen, hauptsächlich für das Leihen eines Rollers, aber auch für ein Motorrad. Die Service-Qualität hat uns überzeugt. Die Fahrzeuge befinden sich, insbesondere mit Hinblick auf die Sicherheitseinrichtungen wie Bremsen und Reifen, in einem tadellosen Zustand. Leider habe ich auch einmal einen Roller selbstverschuldet beschädigt. Die Schadensabwicklung verlief unproblematisch. Nicht unerwähnt lassen möchte ich abschließend die Freundlichkeit von José und Marcello, die mit viel Liebe zu ihrer Arbeit die Qualität von Rent-a-Scooter Funchal hervorheben.

Dieser Laden ist eine Katastrophe! Leiht hier auf KEINEN FALL euren Roller. Wir haben den Roller zwei Tage verlängert und mussten dann plötzlich die doppelte Menge zahlen. Außerdem war der Lenker defekt, die Spiegel haben gewackelt und wir konnten unsere bezahlte Handyhalterung nicht nutzen. Da uns nicht geholfen wurde waren wir sauer und sind am letzten Tag 2h zu spät gekommen. Dafür wurden uns 8h berechnet mit jeweils 8 !!!!! Jeglichem Klärungsversuch per Telefon oder Mail weicht der Chef aus und nutzt seine Kunden so auf eine gemeine Art und Weise aus. Bitte sucht euch einen anderen Vermieter:) dieser hier ist definitiv hinterlistig und geldgierig!!!

Very nice and friendly customer service, the guys explained everything well, very good english. Very nice scooter and contract with no problems or additional hidden costs. After one week of riding scooter was checked, no damage was done to the scooter while sleeping, no scams etc. :D deposit will be send back after couple of working days. I gladly recommend it!

After spending 5 days all around the island for me renting a scooter is the best way to explore Madeira. The company provided me a new vehicle, very easy in driving, going everywhere with no issue and with a lot of storage place in case you dont want to carry all your stuff. The price was very good, too. In addition, people working there, are very helpful and explaining everything in detail. Highly recommended!

Fuss free and well priced rental of an almost new Honda Transalp. Perfect for exploring the island.

Rental agreement and staff are ambiguous and misleading. Paid for full insurance and was assured (by the staff) that under no circumstances would I be liable for additional costs if the bike was returned with damages. THIS IS NOT THE CASE; THERE ARE CASES WHERE THE FULL INSURANCE DOES NOT ACTIVATE. These cases are not clearly stated in the rental agreement whatsoever. For context, I was led astray by apple maps which took me onto a dirt road where the bike tipped. I had no intentions of going down this road and could not see that the road transitioned from asphalt to dirt before it was too late. Rental agreement does prohibit taking the bike off of conventional roads but does not state that the insurance wont activate if this occurs. Moreover, after returning the bike and acknowledging the damages. I was assured by staff that I would not have to pay more than the full insurance multiple times. Also, judging by the other reviews, this is not the first time this has happened. I would avoid this company at all costs unless you want to be extorted.

I rented a scooter for 3 days in this company, drawn in by their affordable rental prices. However, I was shocked by the aftermath. I want to warn potential customers about their pricing practices which seem disproportionate and unfair. For minor scratches that were barely noticeable, I was charged over 700 Euro. The scratches were on several parts, and despite the scooters pre-existing use and condition, the company insisted on replacing parts with brand new ones at high costs. The initial deposit of 500 Euro, which you might assume covers minor damages, is just the beginning. In my case, the final bill far exceeded this amount. Moreover, the lack of clear communication was shocking. There was no discussion about the potential repair costs for such damages at the time of rental. Also, I wasn t informed about any insurance options that could have mitigated these costs. This absence of transparency left me feeling blindsided. I urge everyone considering this company for scooter rentals to think twice. Ask detailed questions about their damage assessment policies and insurance options. Be very cautious, as even the smallest damages could end up costing you significantly more than youd expect.

Haben hier spontan einen Honda PCX 125 für einen Tag zum Preis von 25,50 gemietet. Technisch Top, erst 6000km gelaufen. Tolle Auswahl an Fahrzeugen, allesamt sehr günstig. Helme waren sehr gut, nicht mit dem zu vergleichen was einem sonst so gegeben wird. Personal sehr freundlich und auch bei der Routenfindung behilflich. PS: Bei Onlinereservierung wäre uns der Roller auch zum Hafen gebracht worden.

Sehr professionelle und relaxte Truppe. Entgegennahme und Abgabe des Honda X-Adventure Scooters ohne irgendein Problem. Nette Atmosphäre und auch das Fahrzeug in wirklich gutem Zustand zu fairem Tarif. Sicherheitsleistung wurde auch nach zwei Tagen der Kreditkarte wieder gutgeschrieben. Make sure to read the terms and conditions fully.. You could pay up to 5000 if the scooter breaks. We had asked if the damage deposit covers all damages and the guy working said yes but did care not mention that if damages are above the deposit that you pay it all. We had scratched the bottom of our scooter, the invoice received was very high, over 350 , after the worker told us to expect an invoice of 150 After going to a different automotive shop to compare they told us that we were getting ripped off and that they were charging double We did not feel like they were being honest during our whole experience. So basically just be careful and before you rent know that you could pay up to the price of a completely new scooter if something went wrong.

Rented a Piaggio MP3 for a week. Came kitted out with a quality phone cradle and Piaggio top box, helmets etc. The guys were very helpful throughout the process and I will be renting from them again.

Ce lieu de location est super ! De bons conseils, bonne écoute et surtout bienveillant envers les nouveaux arrivés. Nous recommandons de prendre une moto sur Madère à 100% surtout pour les personnes expérimentées. Découvrir Madère en moto est extra et évite les embêtements pour se garer, très facile au contraire et ça évite les problèmes de circulation. Nous les recommandons à 100%! Encore merci !

Serviço e atendimento razoável. Veículos - nada a dizer. Nota muito NEGATIVA: deveriam existir toucas descartáveis. Os capacetes estão NOJENTOS de tanta sujidade. Chegam a colar nas mãos. E quando se fala em toucas descartáveis - somos vistos como esquisitos! Algo muito estranho depois de uma pandemia (e mesmo sem esta é falta de higiene!) e que só encontrámos aqui. Só por esta razão - NÃO RECOMENDO (o aluguer não foi em meu nome, mas sim no do meu marido). E ainda respondem que estão limpos e higienizados - essa não é a realidade. No Continente não existem estas situações - até porque em qualquer lado entregam de imediato toucas descartáveis! O serviço e atendimento foram bons. A higiene dos capacetes é que não! E quando faço esta crítica é porque somos motards!

DO NOT pay upfront ! We rented a 300cc scooter in June. We arrived at 2 am at Funchal airport, looked at the beast and decided, with the staff, not to take it because we felt not confortable driving it. The staff informed us that, given the refund policy (no refund after 72h before the start), we were about to loose everything (685 , including 100 oh helmets and 100 of dropping fees). We reacted very quietly, as it was our fault (which was appreciated by the staff, that told us many clients yelled at them because of this policy), and promised us they would get back to us with around 15% refund as they sometimes do in this situation (which was way enough to cover more than the time they spent with us). They never did, in spite of our friendly reminders. So yes we were in fault as we decided to cancel the rent. Yes, we knew the refund policy. But seriously, how can you find it fair to not even give back the 100 (!) of helmets and drop fees ? (Cause of course, it s normal that you keep a raisonnable amount of the booking). And above all, in which reality do you live, to find it fair and acceptable to take all the money of those who paid 100% upfront just to save you time and paperwork, while most of your clients only may 15% upfront (you have the choice when booking), and so only loose 15% when they cancel the rent ? It is an absolutely disgusting policy and behavior, to penalize the most the clients who are the kindest to you and just wanted to make things easier for you. That s the proof a twisted mind, and an absolute lack on humanity. So in a nutshell, NEVER pay 100% ahead with this company, be careful to choose the 15% option.

Best part was the scooter I got worked fine with no issues. The part thats awful is actually getting it, very slow service took us over an hour to actually get our scooters and another hour the next day to return. Ive is us had booked in advance but did not get theres for the same amount of time. Returning was also an hour as well. Great place down the street had is in and out the next day in 20 minutes and return was less than 10.

I went with Rent a Scooter Funchal because of the good reviews and high ratings, so here i am a bit annoyed writing this. The reason i am writing a low score review is because i had two issues; the first being that the 125 scooter i rented had some issues with the engine when i was riding back to my hotel on a 35 km journey, the motorbike engine was really struggling and twice i lost complete revs, i had to stop both times, wait 5 minutes and try my luck again, this was kinda unnerving as i was not sure if i would make it back to my hotel without the bike completely breaking down. I rang the company with the issue thinking it may be low on oil as the oil service light came on, but after checking the level it was fine, when i told the company about this issue and the fact that i was a bit apprehensive to drive back to the airport the next day to drop off my bike and potentially miss my flight they just said itll be fine itll be fine so no luck with changing out the scooter in that situation. Luckily i managed to get back to the airport the next day on time without any issues, this leads me on to the next problem which i see as being inexcusable. Before i landed i asked the company to meet me outside the airport with the bike at 11am as my flight was landing at 10am. They initially said it was okay but then decided to change their mind last minute and make it 12 because it would take some time to be outside the airport, (luggage pickup and covid test) being a responsible adult, i already knew these factors and had a pre covid test before my flight and i didnt have any hold luggage, so as i had initially told them, i was outside by 11am and waited until 12, still no show until 12:20 so i was already frustrated i was waiting for so long. The same happened with the return, i initially asked them to meet me at 9am to pick up the scooter, they at first agreed. The evening before when i let them know about the bike issues i was having i double checked to see if they knew the pickup time we had arranged 11:30 they said? So i was lucky in checking again and confirmed i wanted to drop off at 9, i was told that they can do 930. so finally the next day came and i was at the airport at 9, let the company know i was there with a call as i didnt trust them to be on time at this point, 930 came around and still no sign, 940 and i rang to see where they were 3 minutes ill be there was the response, 950 came and still no sign, i rang again a few times and i was ignored as the driver clearly just made up 3 minutes to keep me happy. 1000 came and i finally managed to return the bike. There was no reason explained as to why they were late twice just an apology, i would have given them the benefit of the doubt if this only happened once but it happened on both pick up and return. Kinda stressful waiting on these guys knowing that times ticking to get on the plane. I would advise to not arrange airport pick up and return as they are not very good at time management and are not honest about estimated arrival times which kinda stressed me out a bit. Im interested to see what the response will be to try to justify the tardiness. Punctuality is a sign of respect so please turn up on the time that has been arranged and agreed upon guys!

Nous avons loué un scooter Piaggio 125 pour une semaine à Madère. Très bon accueil et un personnel souriant qui ne pousse pas à prendre un 300cc ou plus (sachant que j avais le permis moto). Pour le coup c était largement suffisant. Rapport qualité prix nickel, 2eme casque sans supplément et support téléphone en supplément pour 5e par jour mais indispensable pour traverser l île. Encore merci !

Wir haben spontan für ein paar Tage hier zwei Roller gemietet, die in einem technisch einwandfreien Zustand waren. Alle Mitarbeiter waren super freundlich und die Konditionen sind mehr als fair. Wer keine Erfahrung mit dem Rollerfahren hat, sollte erst auf den flacheren Straßen von Madeira etwas üben, da die Steigungen in Richtung Inselinnere nicht ohne sind. Diese konnten die Roller aber ohne Probleme meistern. Wir haben somit innerhalb von 3 Tage die ganze Insel besucht. Wenn wir nochmal wiederkommen, werden wir hier wieder die Roller mieten.

Super chill bedrijf. Wilde last moment nog een scooter huren voor een dagje omdat ik alleen op reis was en even wilde touren. Was zo geregeld. Ik ben zelf 21 jaar en alleen een B rijbewijs, had geen problemen met huren, ze waren vriendelijk en vertrouwden me zelf dat ik geen borg hoefde te betalen. Scooter was echt top, ding gaat mega snel, heb nooit eerder op een 125cc gereden namelijk. Voor het eiland echt het perfecte vervoermiddel. Het was een kymco agility 16+ geworden met weinig op de teller. Heel oost Madeira mee afgereden en was een mooi eiland zeg! Ik kom zeker terug. Een tip: vraag om een helm die dicht kan want op de snelweg is dat wind heel vervelend.

honnêtement j ai trouvé cette agence sur Google sans forcément être trop regardant sur les avis. Le patron est très gentil et amical, nous n avons eu aucun problème à louer le scooter (qui est pour moi le meilleur moyen pour se déplacer sur l île de Madère au vu des côtes très impressionnante, à défaut de savoir piloter), nous avons eu un peu de retard pour le rendre le dernier jour et cela n a posé aucun problème. Je conseille vraiment à tout le monde de louer son scooter dans cette agence. Les prix sont intéressant le dépôt de garantie n est pas cher et en plus l équipe est très sympa. Merci encore, si nous revenons vous pouvez être sure que nous louerons de nouveau un scooter chez vous !

Unlike some other rental shops [7m] the owner was super nice here. The price was good, the tyres were brand new and the brakes were excellent. We rented a 125ccm scooter for 3 days, but I only wish we did it earlier. Oh, the helmets were good and clean plus the boss provided me with the gloves, which came in really handy in the evening. 5 stars earned and hope to see you soon again.

Superb rental: A premier and vibrant service. We had the scooter deliver to us at the airport on a Sunday, which was really uncomplicated and also easy to find. Nous avons loué un scooter pour 5 jours pour visiter lile. Le scooter est en état moyen mais nous avons pris le moins cher. En guise d état des lieux, le gars prend quelques photos. Nous ne sommes pas consultés. Pas grave le scooter est de toute façon rayé partout. Nous partons. Très rapidement des voyants s allument (problème moteur). Avec nos quelques connaissances en mécanique, nous arrivons à arranger ça. Le top case tient mal, la béquille est tordue. Pas grave, c est les vacances nous continuons. Retour au point de départ, le gars nous facture 100 euros pour des égratignures sur les plastiques (rétroviseur et pot d echappement). Ça fait cher le plastique. Nous lui faisons comprendre que son scooter en a plein et qu il n a pas le droit. Il ne veut rien savoir. Mefiez vous donc de ces pratiques. A mon avis nous ne sommes pas les seuls. Il y a certainement des loueurs qui proposent des contrats honnêtes et sérieux.

Me dice que esta conduciendo, que va a ver todos los WhatsApp para verificar todo y darme una solucion. Veo una llamada 1h 30 min despues... Como para perder ese tiempo de mis vacaciones esperando a que me den una solucion alli parado.... MUY PROFESIONALES

Rent-a-Scooter Funchal war super! Ich habe mir den Roller an den Flughafen gebucht. Er wurde mir pünktlich gebracht und auch zur abgemachten Zeit pünktlich wieder abgeholt. Bezahlung war problemlos bar oder mit Karte möglich (mobiles Gerät). Die Kaution wurde zuverlässig und zügig zurücküberwiesen. Es wurden bei Übergabe Fotos vom Zustand des Rollers gemacht, damit man im Falle eines Schadens vergleichen kann, ob diese neu sind oder vorbestehend waren. Alles top! Würde sofort wieder einen Roller mieten

Un peu déçue de cette compagnie, nous avons louer un petit scooter, celui était défectueux et nous sommes tombés en panne en plein milieu de la voie rapide (ce qui est dangereux), ils nous ont donc changé le scooter pour un plus gros (trop gros pour moi) et nous ont fait payer un surplus,( ce qui n est pas normal car ce n est pas ce qu on avait commandé comme scooter), je suis tombée avec ce scooter, il y avait de légères égratignures, ils ont pris (en plus du surplus) les 100 de caution et ont rajouté encore 100 alors que c était de petites égratignures .

Foi sem dúvida uma experiência incrível! A Mota (SYM Jet14) permitiu nos visitar todos os recantos desta ilha linda que é a Madeira de forma bastante económica. Recomendo para quem viaje sozinho ou acompanhado, considero a melhor forma de visitar a Madeira.

My girlfriend and I rented a scooter and we have had a misfortune dripping off the road, damaging the scooter (aesthetically but still several parts damaged). Despite it was our responsibility, the rental company has been very gentle charging only our 150 deposit. The manager has been very comprehensive and managed the issue very well. Thus it did not spoiled our holidays whereas a big rental company that simply follows process and guidelines would surely did by overcharging us. Overall it is a very good experience. The platform is also nice and the contract editing experience was smooth (with no paper!).

Great selection of scooters. The staff is helpful and make sure you have everything you need. Everyone is covered by a third party liability insurance. If you want extra peace of mind, insure yourselves and the vehicle youre riding with a travel/vehicle insurance.

At first we had nice service and we rented a good scooter. But we had to come back the second day to change the scooter because they gave us a scooter without helmet case. The drive was about 2 hours and I left the tank full although I received it empty the day before. I think this was flexible of us. But in the end I was 2 hours to late when we brought it back and I had to pay for a full extra day, so they were not flexible to us and we left dissapointed.

I believe we were bit a pain for the owners but they were very helpful and provided a good service. Thanks!

Sehr unfreundliche Mitarbeiter, kann keine Auskunft geben ob ein Roller verfügbar ist man solle selber mit seinem Handy auf der Homepage nachschauen. Dann sind obwohl es laut Internet möglich seien soll den Roller auch nur für einen Tag zu mieten, bei Nachfrage immer nur 48 Stunden möglich. 300 Kaution müssen hinterlegt werden, die Auswahl an Helmen sehr begrenzt zudem sehr überzogene Preise.

Avevo prenotato uno scooter ad un prezzo preciso, una caparra precisa con pagamento il giorno del ritiro. Quando arrivo li cè un ragazzo in ufficio che mi dice tutta, una, sua, teoria in inglese del tipo : visto che nn hai pagato prima lo scooter prenotato non è disponibile ma ne ho un altro a un prezzo più alto ( invece dei 30 siamo passati a 40/45 al giorno con una, caparra superiore) Lo scooter 125 era un bel polmone ma, ha, fatto il suo dovere. Purtroppo visto che non era il caso allultimo di dire no e trovare altro visto che le disponibilità sullisola, erano poche ho accettato ma molto deluso di avermi venduto una, cosa per un altra visto che danno la, possibilità di pagare in loco. Lasciate perdere o assicuratevi che il prezzo non cambi il giorno che arrivate.

I rented a 125cc scooter for four days at a cost of 45 a day. I booked it and payed deposit online the day before collection as instructed by the guy working there. On collection while trying out the scooter one of the staff told my gf several horror stories of very serious accidents that he witnessed which made her very nervous. Needless to say she did not enjoy her time on the scooter resulting in us retuning the scooter early the next morning. We didnt expect a full refund but at least a day or twos worth. Zero was given. We found the staff quite rude and patronising. At first greeting us with You made it back in one piece. Then when asking for a refund we got You need to think through your decisions. Not only that they spent ages trying to make out a tiny mark on the underside of the scooter was us. Eventually when they couldnt prove it we got our 200 deposit back. All in all not a great experience!!

Buena experiencia con la moto. En nuestro caso, fue una Sym Symphony de 125 (que era la más barata) y nos llevó a todos los sitios de la isla que quisimos visitar sin problema. Hicimos un pequeño pago previo online días antes y el resto en la agencia el día de llevarnos la moto. Cuando te la llevas, comprueban el exterior de la moto y al devolverla también, para poder luego saber si hay algún desperfecto que hayas causado tú. Como cosas mejorables decir que quizá los cascos, ya que son pagados aparte, podrían haber sido cerrados en vez de abiertos. Y también el hecho de que nos dijeran que habían perdido un cliente por devolver la moto 15 minutos más tarde de la hora de devolución. Entiendo cierta seriedad con el tema de respetar los tiempos de devolución, porque deben estar acostumbrados a ver clientes que llegan muy tarde o con desperfectos en la moto. Pero tampoco entiendo que si estás pagando por días completos, tengas que devolverla antes de las 19:00 por ser la hora de cierre de la agencia. Conclusión: La moto cumplió genial, no nos cobraron de más, ni tuvimos problemas.

Nous avons tenté lexpérience de louer un scooter pour 2 semaines car les prix de locations dune voiture étaient ahurissants. Nous sommes tombés par hasard sur cette agence et sen fut une très belle expérience! Le prix défis toute concurrence (550 euros pour 2 casques + un porte téléphone --> Que je vous recommande VIVEMENT si vous souhaitez arpenter lîle sereinement), le scooter présentait quelques égratignures légères mais aucuns problèmes pour arpenter toutes les routes de lîle à 2 (même dans les pentes à 20-25 le scooter avançait très bien). Je vous recommande toutefois davoir quelques notions de scoot ou de moto avant den louer 1, car les routes de lîle sont sinueuses avec de forts dénivelés. Le personnel est également très arrangeant et dune grande gentillesse. Comptez sur moi pour relouer chez Rent a scooter Funchal lors de mes éventuels prochains voyage à Madère. I booked a scooter online but upon collection one of the employees of Rent-a-Scooter told me in a rude and patronising way that I should not rent a scooter because I had only little experience driving one (i.e. 2 days worth). He did this knowing that I already made a deposit when I booked and refused to refund any of this money. This put me in a tough position. In the end I decided to go for the safe option of not renting one, knowing that they will keep my money. When I asked him how often this happens he said that it happens daily. Impresionante tanto el trato por parte del empleado como la moto que nos dieron. Llegamos sin reserva en fechas festivas porque otra empresa de al lado nos había rechazado el alquiler que teníamos reservado y nos lo solucionaron todo con una sonrisa. Al final cogimos la Honda PCX de 125 que nos llevó por toda la isla. La moto estaba nueva e impecable y el trato que nos dieron de principio a fin fue magnífico. Sin trampas y con amabilidad. Se lo recomendaría a todo el que llegue a Madeira con ganas de disfrutar con una scooter.

I have rented a 400cc scooter. Everything went smooth from start to finish. Recommended. *Traveller hint: It will be much better to rent a manual gearbox motorcycle to ride around Madeira; as there is a lot of downhill driving and with the scooter and you constantly need to be on the brakes. (Risk of overheating the brakes)

Waren mit der Mein Schiff auf Madeira und haben uns im Vorfeld einen großen Roller online gemietet. Es hat alles problemlos funktioniert. Der Roller war relativ neu und der Service war super. Der Mitarbeiter hat uns auch nochmal beraten was es für Sehenswürdigkeiten gibt. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis hat für uns gepasst.

Excellent service from start to finish. I ended up arriving over their lunch break, called them , no problem to them at all. Great guys working there.

The guys are super nice and contact via whatsapp works really good. Scooter was also in great condition. So usually I would give a 5 star rating. Unfortunately the locket (the plastic part) of the topcase broke. The guy said, I overloaded it (which is impossible, as I stored the helmet in there once - and the other times in the seat storage, like I am used to from my scooter at home). I understand, that I have to pay a part, as it happened in the time of my rent (even though I dont have the slightest clue, how or when that happened), but they charged me the whole deposit of 100 Euro for a topcase, that costs around 50-60 Euro (source: Amazon) . Also I read in a forum, that you can just buy another of those plastic hooks, unscrew the locket and then change the plastic parts (it was even the very same topcase)... costs around 20 Euro, so I really feel I was being ripped off :-( I am staying for a few months and wanted to rent a scooter for a longer term, but unfortunately I will look for another company. At least I ve learned my lesson and will take photos of every single detail of my next rental and will not sign anything, before that. Very disappointed though as everything made a very good impression :(

Simone und Reiner waren im vergangenen Jahr ( 23.8.bis 6.9.2020 ) auf Madeira. Wir mieteten uns bei José 2 Roller für 12 Tage. Es war alles perfekt. Uns wurden die Roller vollgetankt ins Hotel gebracht. Es folgte eine Einweisung und dann ging es los mit purer Freude am fahren in einer einmaligen Landschaft. Wir hatten wegen Ölverlust einen kurzen Zwischenstopp bei José, der völlig problemlos und schnell erledigt wurde, und weiter gings. Am Ende unserer Reise ( 480 km!!! ) wurden die beiden ( bitte vorher volltanken!!! ) Roller wieder abgeholt und unsere Kaution ausbezahlt. Der Service, die Freundlichkeit und die Abwicklung, trotz Sprachbarrieren :-), das pure Lenbensgefühl beim fahren wird uns dieses Jahr wieder zu José führen!!! Vielen Dank dafür :-) wir hoffen Euch gehts gut und freuen uns auf unseren nächsten Tripp mit Euren gepflegten Scootern. Ganz, ganz herzliche Grüße aus Deutschland.

I highly recommend this store for renting a motorcycle. I highly recommend the Honda with automatic transmission because it is ideal for Madeira Island. The owners are excellent people and help with everything. When I return, this is where I will rent.

La moto que nos dieron no estaba muy bien. Era una agility. Deberían avisar que no es lo más recomendable para salir fuera de la ciudad. Éramos dos y tanto por autopista como por carretera, la moto temblaba. Además te dan casco abierto, para el casco cerrado tienes q pagar extra.

Hello, we rent a scooter 125 for 2 days, everything was great. We also have Phone Holder and we can drive thru Madera with gps and wisit amazing places. Low cost (35 euro with Phone Holder per Day and only 100 euro deposit), and good conditon of scooter. Polecam gor co t wypo yczalnie, bez zb dnych formalno ci, niski koszt, 35 euro za dob z uchwytem na telefon i tylko 100 euro kaucji. Skuter podstawiony i odebrany z hotelu, mi a obs uga.

Recomendo. Bom serviço, honestidade, ao contrário de outros que mostram um preço, e depois dizem ser mais por ser época alta.

Se gostar do contacto com a natureza, se forem só 2 pessoas, se estão indecisos onde alugar uma moto....não vale a pena procurar mais. Aluguei uma scooter e posso dizer que nada falhou.

Feedback negativo, não recomendo. Após ter reservado com cerca de uma semana de antecedência, e após ter confirmado através várias chamadas e mensagens o dia de recolha, na véspera de chegar ao Funchal, recebi um contacto de outro colaborador, a indicar que havia existido um engano e que por isso não teria a mota que reservei. Após bastante compreensão da minha parte, e na tentativa de encontrar alternativas, que estaria disponível, mesmo que por valor mais alto, o suporte foi zero. Infelizmente, não voltarei a usar ou recomendar os serviços deste operador.

Tive uma ótima experiência. O Marcelo, colaborador da empresa facilitou muito o processo. Demonstrou-se sempre disponível para ajudar em qualquer coisa. Recomendo a 100%

Todo muy bien hasta el momento de devolver la moto. Nos cobraron 25 euros por una rayada de unos 2 o 3 milímetros que ni sabíamos que estaba ni habíamos hecho.

Die Roller sind in einem gepflegten Zustand und funktionieren. Allerdings sollte man eine Menge an Zeit für den Verleih und die Rückgabe einplanen Für nur mal schnell einen Roller ausleihen haben wir mehr als eine Stunde benötigt, obwohl nur zwei weitere Kunden vor Ort waren. Bei der Rückgabe ähnlich Ebenfalls empfehle ich von jedem Bauteil Fotos zu machen, da bei der Rückgabe jedes einzelne Bauteile akribisch auf die feinsten Kratzer untersucht werden und keine Scheu davor gemacht wird, jeden kleinen Kratzer direkt von Deposit abzuziehen.

Faire Preise, Klasse neuwertige Scooter und sehr freundliches hilfreiches Personal. Nächste mal wieder.

Para conhecer a Madeira, nada melhor que uns pares de dias com bom tempo ;) e uma Scooter. A rent-a-Scooter Funchal tem o que foi preciso, respostas rápidas na altura de reservar, pessoal sempre cuidadoso e atencioso ao receber o cliente. Os preços são razoáveis e comparando com a concorrência aparentemente são os melhores. A mota era boa, o capacete podia ser melhor, há que saber escolher. Da próxima vez que voltar volto a reservar para ver se termino de explorar a ilha, Recomendo, boas subidas ;)

Perfect bikes and service

We had a blast scootering around the island for a week. Did almost every road on the island with two people on a 125cc and never had a problem. Its was 30 euro a day or 24 Euro when you book for 3 or more. No weekly rates. Its pretty windy/chilly in some stretches so jacket would be recommended (There in December). Found local drivers to be good and roads in solid condition. A little scooter/bike experience will go a long way however. Highlight of our trip for sure.

Avoid this company This company will give you a lot of trouble. I have been renting bikes around the world. Here I experienced the worst service. Agreements doesn t count for the guys and they will try to pull you over when they get the chance. One star for the good condition of the motorbike.

Vielen Dank für 10 Tage pures Vergnügen. Nachdem der erste Roller schon nach ein paar Tagen schlapp machte, wurde er Problemlos umgetauscht. Der Zweite war sehr zuverlässig, brachte mich auf nur jede erdenkliche Höhe und auch wieder runter. Ich bin in den 10 Tagen ca. 850 km gefahren und hatte keine weiteren Probleme, ausser dass das Öl alle war, was in der Werkstatt aufgefüllt wurde. Die Bremsen sind 1A, dass sollten sie auch sein, bei dem zeitweise sehr starkem Gefälle, ich hatte stets einen guten Grip auf den Straßen. Ich würde jedem empfehlen einen Roller zu mieten, man nimmt die Natur viel intensiver wahr, man kann fast überall anhalten und die Aussicht genießen und man darf fast überall parken und das kostenlos. Ich habe 20 pro Tag bezahlt und dazu noch Vollkasko genommen, dass hat zusätzlich 10 pro Tag gekostet. Vielen Dank an Francisco und seinen Bruder, sowie dem gesamten Team.

Problemloses mietem und Rückgabe von 2 scootern. Der 2.scooter war leistungsmässig schwächer und rechter Ruckspiegel war nicht möglich richtig zu justieren.
