Whats not to like. Beautiful hotel set in Sola da Juda Medeira. Well worth a visit, we have been going there since 2009. Lots a nice restaurants to visit. Don't go all inclusive there are to many eateries to visit.
Getting tired. Could do with an update
We stayed at both the Carlton Madeira and Alvor beach club. Both hotels, rooms and staff were excellent.
Sent 3 emails no response. I had a timeshare at Promenade and feel I am no longer of interest now my 10 year timeshare has ended.
Been owners here since it was built and have become very disillusioned. Emails bounce back so impossible to contact anyone. Last visit was 4 years or so ago and it was so shabby we were heart broken. Pestana are now firmly in the hotel trade and that appears to be their top priority.
We have been apartment owners/club members for 16 years now. Lovely people to deal with - nothing too much trouble. Most staff recognise you and say hello year on year, almost like being part of your family.
As members of the Pestana Vacation Club, we really enjoy all the facilities that the 4 and 5 star hotels offer whilst staying in self catering accommodation within the hotels themselves.
We feel very much at home here. The owner relations staff are very professional

Excelente clínica Veterinária. Dr. AMARO é nota 10! Tem também o Banho & Tosa, além de uma farmácia completa.
Love this place so much
Es gibt sehr vorteilhafte Angebote für Madeira und Portugal Urlauber. In anderen Ländern gibt es Cityhotels, die über dieses Kontingent buchbar sind. Die Organisation klappt und die Betreuung ist persönlich. PVC mit der 3 Wochen Variante, gerne wieder.

Im Vacation Club werden Urlaubspakete verkauft. Diese Pakete beinhalten einen Anzahl von Übernachtungen in einem Pestana Hotels. Nicht nur auf Madeira, sondern auch außerhalb. Hierbei wird man geködert mit der Aussage, wenn man das Urlaubspaket bucht, würde man bessere Zimmer bekommen. Sogenannte Studios. Diese Zimmer haben auch noch eine kleine Küche. Die Buchung funktioniert auch unproblematisch. Die Mitarbeiter sind alle sehr hilfsbereit. Das Problem an der Sache, es gibt nicht nur bessere Zimmer. Die Zimmer haben zwar eine Küche haben aber eventuell kein Meerblick. Es ist also bisschen wie Lotterie. Tragisch ist hierbei, dass man nicht downgraden kann. Bei uns war das halbe Hotel leer. Auch genügend Zimmer mit Meerblick waren frei. Jedoch kein Studio. Und der Vacation Club hat nur eine begrenztes Kontingent. Hier muss man für sich entscheiden, was einem nun wichtiger ist. Sicher den Meerblick zu bekommen oder das Studio mit Küche zu bekommen. Uns ist der Meerblick so wichtig, dass wir das Urlaubspaket nicht verlängert haben. Ab nächstes Jahr fahren wir wieder nach Madeira, werden aber direkt ein Zimmer mit Meerblick buchen. Dann haben wir es sicher.
