Several issued happened to me they said for extra day in same price of reservation but they extract 3 times more than the reserved of price and it happened several times and the clerks are unprofessional and filling out documents without correct check.

One of the worst I've ever worked with. I ordered a replacement car, and there was some confusion about the rights I was entitled to. In addition to getting the days I was entitled to wrong, they also charged me for one day incorrectly. Well, I had to return the car by 6pm. I returned it at 5:50pm (I have proof). Unfortunately, Avis incorrectly entered the delivery deadline into the system by 5pm. As a result, I paid a late delivery fine and an extra day of rental. After I managed to contact them, they checked the error. But I still haven't received the adjustment/refund. I've been on the phone with customer support for about 35 minutes, waiting for them to answer me. No one answers. I tried calling the number for the Guimarães store that is online and the number is not available. In short, yet another company that only cares about taking money from customers and doesn't care about giving money back to people who need it so much. I'm still waiting for someone to help me.

Well, I had an unpleasant experience. On a Monday, when I was entitled to a replacement car, I made the same request. A few hours later, they called me to deal with the whole process, where to pick it up and the days. I told the girl that I needed the car by that very day and she promptly said that there would be no problem, so far so good. I asked what time I could pick it up, “until 6:30 p.m.” So I travel 15 km by bus with my 2 children (one is one year old and one is five) to pick up the car. As you can imagine, a bus and 2 children could be a little late. So I arrived at the company at 6:35 p.m. (time on my cell phone). So I made 6 calls to the number listed there but without success. Well then, I walked to work without a car... The other day, I went by there at 6pm and asked, and it was 6:35pm on my phone, which was easy to prove. They answered me like this: "6:30pm, it's 6:30pm." That's true, but I appreciate the help and no work. So I said I wanted to pick it up today. Now I have to call the insurance company again, because I could even pull the reservation, but they might question it. I said, but it's no problem, you'll get paid that day for that. So nothing done... With a smile I said, "You know, I don't even want a car anymore. Because I felt unwilling given the whole situation.

Price changes every day! Why? It's not a normal for company and for people too. Last week we rented the car with price 75€ per day, today the guy said, that it will be 100€ per day with discount, without discount it will be 167,25€ and it's the price for 4 days and more. I'm very upset with such service in Guimarães!
