Thinking about using this company? Think again. Terrible customer service, they’re manipulative (especially to foreigners), their drivers are always late and/or have car trouble. But they don’t work with you as the customer, they just ghost you or tell you they’re going to work with you or give you a refund. Neither happens.

This is the last time I will use these guys. I used them last year and their cars were late or had AC issues. I was not too fussed because at least the cars were good quality. 1 year later, I use them again and it's a nightmare. They send a prado jeep that was falling apart. All 4 tyres were completely work out to the point you could literally see the white material, not even black anymore. The interior was even worse. AC not cooling, old and worn out seat, door was falling apart, AC duct was broken and was just a gaping hole. Doors creaking and squeaking as we drove. The car smelled of cigarettes and weed, it was so bad that my 7 month baby kept sneezing. The driver said he was out late night till the morning on another job and the clients smoked in the car. He was visibly tired and was sleeping at every chance he got. I wonder why Autogirl would send a driver who has barely slept to drive another full 12 hours. I had to request a replacement. That car was not road worthy at all. They sent me a replacement and the tyres were much better but the car was also old and worn out with the door falling apart. AC not cooling and the interior filthy. At this point I was too tired to complain and went on with the day. They promised to send me a better car with excellent quality the next day. The next day arrives and they send me details of the driver who would come get me. I text the number and got no response and then suddenly start getting messages from a random person saying he is coming to pick me up and that he was sent by my previous driver as a replacement. Autogirl did not inform me of any changes so I was concerned. I reached out and they said my previous driver called in sick so that is his replacement. I was quite surprised such a change was not communicated especially given the security issues we have in Lagos at Christmas. They once again apologised for the slip up and offered me 20k refund. The car was old, dirty and with AC not cooling. At this point I realised it is not a case of one bad experience but it is just that all and I mean ALL of the cars in their fleet are bad. Shocking to see because they charge such high fees and never give discounts. I booked for 2 days and was told flat out no discount when I asked. I said OK and paid without arguing. Only for me to get sent unsafe cars that are not roadworthy and have no business being called luxury. It was like riding a danfo bus and that's putting it nicely. The final straw that got me here is when I got out of church and the driver told me he was instructed by Autogirl not to go any further because we were out of their service area and I had to pay extra. I get my phone and see an aggressive message informing me to pay extra and that my driver will not move unless i paid. I was so embarrassed and frustrated because I specifically told them where we would be going and they charged me extra already and I paid. I forwarded the conversation where it was discussed plus proof of payment and then got yet another apology. The lady claimed it was an error because she wasn't the one who took my booking but that was a big lie. Her name is Phoebe and the lady who took my booking is also called Phoebe. The driver also confirmed that he got a call from Phoebe instructing him not to move the car because I haven't paid. Honestly avoid this business because they are utterly unprofessional. Their cars are all dead. They have incompetent back office staff who lie and have no idea what they are doing. You can see photos and videos of the cars sent to me after paying a premium for what is supposed to be luxury.

The service was really great. From the CS response to the timing and yes the cars are very neat! Well-done!!!
