When I got to the rental desk I was informed that even though I had successfully booked 2 cars in my name online and had 2 extra drivers with me, I couldn’t hire 2 cars. The rental desk staff said I had to contact Holiday Autos myself to sort out the problem as they had no way of contacting them and were unable to give me a phone number. My daughter found contact numbers for Holiday Autos and having no success with the Portuguese number I contacted the UK number and managed to get a new voucher in my husband’s name. They sent the new voucher by email to me but that wasn’t good enough for the staff at the rental desk. They wanted a non-existent code. So Holiday Autos sent the new voucher by email to the bookings department and then, after over 3 hours, we were able to drive both cars away. We had 9 family members who were tired and hungry having flown from South Africa waiting over 3 hours at the rental desk. It was a nightmare experience. I firmly believe that the extremely unhelpful attitude at the rental desk was designed to get me to pay again for another car. Only by my and my daughter’s best efforts were we able to sort the situation.
The company has a good system however the staff at the counter was not giving the solution for the customer. Yesterday, I had a booking from the booking.com for a mercedez benz at the Lisbon airport. But due to my credit card limit are left with remaining 3500 eur I was not able to pay a deposit of 3900 eur (only 400 eur different). He said I cannot use my wife’s credit card which is odd. So the staff canceled my reservation. I realized after the cancelation, the staff could have offered me a downgrade version of the car so the deposit will be lower and will fit to my credit limit / cieling. Seems like their intention was just to sell the insurance which will cost more than double than the price of the rent itself from booking.com. Instead 146 which already paid, they asked extra 390 eur as an alternative of deposit… “Not a customer oriented staff…”
Our car rental from Drive on Holiday Movida turned out to be a real nightmare that ruined our entire vacation. We arrived on time, but apparently only to spend two precious hours in a hellish queue at the office of this company. It all started with rude and completely indifferent staff who not only ignored us but also allowed themselves to be rude, bringing one girl to tears. Our reserved car - Jeep Compass hybrid - was left in the parking lot as a mockery, and instead we were given a Citroen C5, without even considering it necessary to apologize. And if you think that's bad enough, it's not - they prepared and washed the car for another hour while we were standing there wasting time, as if we were not customers, but an empty place. And that's where the whole horror just started. After returning the car, they charged us extra money for allegedly renting a transponder to drive on toll roads, although no one even mentioned it, let alone agreed to activate the device. The shamelessness of this company knows no bounds: complete indifference to customers, rudeness at every step and the desire to rip off money for every little thing. We lost an important three hours to get to the cultural objects for which we had bought tickets. Because of this disgusting company, we didn't just lose money - they ruined all our plans and left a disgusting impression of the vacation from the very beginning. This is the most nightmarish service imaginable. Never, under any circumstances contact Drive on Holiday Movida unless you want your vacation to be hopelessly ruined. The insurance was purchased, but the deposit they gave us was very huge and we had to pay extra for additional insurance so we didn't have to leave a deposit to this mediocre company!
I had a great experience with this company. I’ve rented many cars with various companies throughout the years and this was pretty seamless. They were easy going with looking for scratches which weren’t there anyway, but that’s unusual in my experience. I recommend!
Very fast check-in, we received our car in 15 minutes (reserved online). It was new, very clean, in perfect condition. There is also the Via Verde toll device present (paid separately), so we could use the motorways conveniently. Recommended!
Great company, great cars, and great service! Been a Drive on Holidays customer for the past 8 years and never had a problem. Their cars are new and always top tier models. No one ever tried to upsell me any extra insurance. All they do is give you options. People need to understand that there will always be a security deposit ( one that increases depending on the value of the car) and if you don’t purchase the extra insurance you will have to hold a specific value on your credit card! I recommend this company to anyone who wants a great car at a great price!
The car was relatively new and well maintained. No issue with the car and only $160 for 3 day rental. However, they required $4500 (4100 euro) deposit for a car that has MSRP around $35,000. This was bizarre and something I never experienced with rental companies in the US or Asia. It wasn’t even a hold on a card, it is a pre authorized deposit on your card. I had to speak with my bank to allow high transaction in a foreign country. What was disappointing was the staff’s attitude during this process. Instead of working with me, he told me I can walk over to another rental company to see if they can offer a better deal because there is nothing they can do to change this price. Very nice car, and very clean building. About 10 min shuttle ride from airport (which comes about every 20 minutes). The staff are in orange polos, Drive on Holidays and Movida are the same company so dont get confused.
It was very satisfying service, and it was a pleasure to rent a car from this company.We love the private car from the company that pick us up and returning us to the airport. We had with us a child on 1 year, and we only missed that they secure the child in a car seat. They rented us a car seat for the child in the rental car. Excellent! Be sure that you read the terms correctly before you picking up the car. If you do that, then you get a quick service and delivering. It is a high deposit, so be sure that you have at least 3600 € on your credit card. We had no problem with the delivering after the rental periode. Thank you Movida! We see you again 😊
Scammers with disingenuous and shady business tactics. Had a month long rental, the guy at the desk offered to reduce the deposit to 1k instead of 4k for 170 euro. Instead they put 1k as an excess payment that was never refunded. Cost more than the car itself. Never ever under any circumstances deal with this company. Pathetic.

Be warned: Never use the services of this car rental company. First and foremost, they will try to deceive you at every turn. I rented a car at one price but ended up paying 350 more because they forced me to purchase insurance, claiming they couldn t freeze the deposit on my debit card. However, they had no problem freezing the deposit for the transponder on the same debit card. When I asked for an explanation, the supervisor, Hugo Mendes, blatantly lied to me, saying that their head office had only just issued instructions prohibiting the use of debit cards for deposits. Moments later, one of his subordinates used my debit card to freeze the transponder deposit without issue. When I pointed out that there were no technical obstacles to freezing the deposit on my debit card, the supervisor, in a condescending tone, confided that the company simply wouldn t be able to charge the full cost of the car to my debit card if I stole it. Secondly, despite paying for the transponder, it didn t work. A minor issue, perhaps, but one that is incredibly frustrating and indicative of their negligence. Thirdly, when returning the car, they attempted to charge me for a full tank of gas, even though the car was handed over to me with an empty tank. Thankfully, I had recorded a video of the dashboard showing the empty tank, but the managers still tried to argue that the car wasn t running in the video, and that s why the fuel gauge was at zero. In short, they are completely incompetent, have no regard for their customers, and will take every opportunity to cheat and overcharge you. Do not use their services. Protect your sanity.
It was a very bad experience that spoilt our holiday. We were not picked up at the airport as planned - nobody was available by phone either. Due to the unclear situation, we were unable to continue our planned route to another city and had to book a new hotel. One day later we had to pick up the car ourselves. The Manager said that we would be reimbursed for the additional costs incurred and should write an email. This was supposed to be clarified before our departure - unfortunately we did not receive a reply. When we returned the car, the employee wanted to charge us an amount of EUR 103 (EUR 2.00 for the highway, EUR 25.00 fees as we had not filled up the tank, EUR 76.50 for the petrol). When asked, the Mister told us passive-aggresively that these costs were correct and that we would have these petrol costs everywhere. Nevertheless, we filled up the car ourselves and paid EUR 50.00. The petrol costs obviously vary depending on the petrol station, but the difference of EUR 26.50 seems suspicious and fraudulent. In addition, the highway costs were then only EUR 1.50. No emails will be answered even though the employees want you to raise the issue and mention that they are only dealing with such situations via email.
The company is a mammoth stuck in the ice age. We have experienced horrific and endangering attitude and behavior of staff and supervisor. We arrived in Lisbon late in the evening in need to collect the pre-booked car and travel around 100km to the place of stay. When we arrived, I realised that I did not have a physical credit card with me in my name. A member of staff (I am not allowed to post a video here, but I sent it to the company separately) immediately and in a very rude way said that he could not help. I let him know that I had a credit card connected to my Google account - not good, I also said that I bought a complete insurance package with Easy Jet - no good, I suggested to pay deposit in full by debit card - no good, use credit card of my co-traveller - no good, buy any extra high-price insurance - no good. All in a very dismissive and patronising manner. I asked to call for a supervisor - he came out being immediately very aggressive and said there was nothing they could do and we must leave. Exhausted and bewildered, we pleaded for some understanding. Our luggage was piled high, the hour was late, and the prospect of another 100km journey felt impossible. But we were told they did not care, there is a policy and we must leave. LONG STORY SHORT, THEY NEVER GAVE US THE CAR AND NEVER RETURNED MY FULL PREPAYMENT! Defeated, we trudged back to the airport, where a smiling Sixt representative greeted us like long-lost friends. No problem, they assured us, a debit card would be fine. Within minutes, we were driving away in a comfortable car, for a comparable price, the stress of the previous encounter melting away. I am reading now other reviews and realising that there were options to help us. And even if it is a policy, how can you endanger your clients who prepaid everything and rudely dismiss them in the middle of the night? A lot of similar reviews here, why would they not amend their policy? Why is there no mechanism at least to refund and avoid alienating people whatsoever?! HORRIFIC! EasyJet, beware! This partnership is a stain on your brand. Until this car rental agency learns the meaning of customer service and basic human decency, travelers should steer clear.
Business trip ruined by unbelievably rude staff. Refused to help, left us at night with bags 100 km away from the hotel without the car. Never returned the money. All because we did not have a credit card in the drivers name! Just read other reviews and NEVER use them!

Location payée pour 6 jours mi-décembre avec assurance moins de 100 Le loueur demande 105 de plus car sur la carte bancaire visa, il n est pas écrit crédit mais débit car ma CB est en débit immédiat (et non différé). Cette somme est une assurance supplémentaire rendue obligatoire. Il manquait des dommages visibles extérieurs sur le contrat. Donc il faut bien regarder et prendre des photos avant de partir avec le véhicule.

Prezados, Gostaria de registrar minha insatisfação em relação ao atendimento prestado pelo supervisor Rodrigo durante o processo de aluguel de uma van. Tivemos que aguardar por mais de duas horas para sermos atendidos, o que foi extremamente desgastante, especialmente considerando que estávamos acompanhados de uma criança por quase três horas. A postura do supervisor demonstrou total falta de empatia e disposição para ajudar. Ele permaneceu escondido no escritório e só saiu quando percebeu que estávamos observando pela janela, sem que ele estivesse realizando qualquer atividade produtiva. Essa experiência foi frustrante e está muito aquém do padrão de atendimento que esperamos. Solicito que a situação seja averiguada e que medidas sejam tomadas para evitar que isso volte a acontecer. Agradeço pela atenção e aguardo retorno.

O carro foi posto novamente à disposição de outro cliente estando ainda dentro do meu período de reserva, nem sequer dando a possibilidade de poder prolongar o aluguer. Carro práticamente novo mas com a caixa de velocidades em péssimo estado. Não recomendo.

Most people only write reviews if something doesn t work i think. I rented two times a car and was very happy. They Didn t try to sell anything, fast service, and the caution came back immediately after returning the car.
I have rented many times with Drive on Holidays and had a good experience. Today I called them to return the car at a different airport. I had inquired two days before and was told it would be an additional 198 euro. Its a lot already, other companies charge 50-100 euro for this service, however, when I called today, I was told it is now 325 euro. What a rip off! I checked on their website and it showed me that if I would do a new booking for one day picking up the car in Lisbon and leaving it in Faro it would only be 210 euro including the car rental. And I am now being asked for 325 euro. Its an obvious rip off and they just lost a long term customer.
Les prix sont intéressants mais le dépôt ne se trouve pas dans laéroport. Le Shuttle était facile à trouver, une personne nous attendait près de la boutique Vodafone. En revanche étant donné leur prix attractif, il y avait énormément de monde pour récupérer la voiture, presque 40min dattente..... heureusement nous étions sans nos enfants. Même si le tarif était très raisonnable je pense que je préfère payer un peu plus et être directement dans laéroport.

Had the worst car rental experience with the company. Their staff is full of arrogance and have extremely unprofessional behavior. They add unnecessary extra costs and have no explanation for it. They added 52 Euros for toll tax for using car for one week. Its literally unbelievable. Specially, the guy RODOLPHO FELIZ. He is uneducated and has no experience of how to talk to customers and handle situations. He is full of himself and if hes the one dealing your rental, you will definitely never use their service again. Never going to recommend them to anyone.
Infelizmente, tive uma experiência decepcionante ao alugar um carro com a Drive on Holidays em um momento delicado, pois precisei viajar às pressas para Portugal para o funeral da minha sogra. Cheguei para retirar o carro às 9h, com o velório marcado para as 12h, e expliquei ao atendente a urgência da situação. Mesmo assim, o atendimento inicial foi extremamente demorado e desorganizado. Para piorar, só às 10h20 me entregaram um carro com o tanque de combustível completamente vazio, o que só percebi ao entrar no veículo. Precisei ser assertiva para que me trocassem o carro, já que não conseguiria chegar a tempo com o tanque vazio. A equipe aparentava estar despreparada e mais preocupada em conversar entre si do que em agilizar o atendimento, enquanto vários clientes aguardavam. Após 3 dias com o carro, uma pedra atingiu o para-brisa e o atendimento para a substituição foi eficiente, porém, o seguro deles é bem mais caro que o de outras locadoras em Portugal. Na devolução, felizmente, não tivemos problemas e os motoristas dos transfers foram atenciosos e prestativos.

Location and service in the office was very good. The car condition was not well maintained, the engine broke down, and I was brought back to the Lisbon rental station to pick up a new car. This cost me half a day travel and highway fees. The replacement car I finally got (the one allocated also had technical issues obvious already at the rental station) had an engine with ca. 55000 km that consumed excessive fuel, a clear indication of a tortured engine. I would never again choose this apparently low-cost option as there was certainly no value for the money.
Beware, this company will charge you for everything possible. For a car for two weeks it was +20 EUR for a rental of toll box which is mandatory and cannot be removed (which I wanted) +70 EUR deposit for tolls (which I had to pay in the end anyway as the toll deposit serves only for tolls from last day). The deposit for a car is extremely high, in my case 2200 EUR for a small SUV, and if you do not have such limit, you pay extra hundreds of EUR to lower it. So although I had great experience with Movida in Brazil in the past, in Portugal it feels like a scam. Will never use again and I recommend you the same.
Den vielen schlechten Berwertungen muss ich mit meiner Erfahrung widersprechen: Gut, bei der Abholung musste ich mittags 20 Minuten warten, aber um 12 Uhr beginnt auch die übliche Mietdauer. Eine für mich unnötige Vollkasko-Versicherung würde mir zwar angeboten, aber nicht aufgedrängt. Dass die Mautbox etwas kostet, wusste ich vorher. Ebenso war klar, dass eine Kaution (bei mir 1500 Euro) auf der Kreditkarte geblockt wird. Das Auto war sauber und mit 9000 km neuwertig. Die Rückgabe drei Wochen später verlief trotz vieler gleichzeitiger Rückgaben problemlos und schnell. Der Shuttle zum Terminal war fast ohne Wartezeit und angenehm. Das gesamte Personal war professionell und freundlich. Was will man mehr?
Abbiamo provato questo autonoleggio questestate e ci siamo trovati benissimo. Abbiamo noleggiato una Fiat Panda, con possibilità di aggiungere con pochi euro anche il secondo conducente. Sono stati precisi e puntuali nella restituzione della caparra. Consiglio di pagare un po di più e mettere il rimborso della franchigia perché è un po alta. Unica pecca un po di fila per il check in, ma fattibile.
I highly recommend avoiding this company. Despite reserving a car months in advance, they did not provide the vehicle I had booked at the airport. Instead, I was given an old car with over 80,000 km. Unfortunately, I had no choice but to accept it, as refusing the car would have meant paying significantly more to rent a vehicle on the spot. The car they gave me broke down in the middle of the highway, and it took four hours for them to send a tow truck. To make matters worse, the taxi they promised to return us to the rental company never showed up, and they refused to reimburse me for the cost.

Overall, my experience was quite mediocre. Upon arrival, the staff member didn t speak English, and I had to wait for the shuttle which took about 10 minutes, which was fine. However, the assistant at the desk wasn t particularly friendly. To make matters worse, the car wasn t properly cleaned, and the fuel tank was only 3/4 full. The real frustration came later when I requested a final invoice. After several phone calls and a long wait, I finally received it 6 weeks after returning the car. Despite multiple emails to customer service, I never received a single reply. Very disappointing!
Waited one hour and forty five minutes to get a car. When finally came thru, turn on the car, engine lights on, got another car with a repaired tire, was leaking since day five , I had to pump that tire every morning. The only good thing about this place was the price.

Po zwolnieniu depozytu na karcie, dokona em p atno ci przez link do rozliczenia, który przes ali mi na mail. Ale aby by o zabawniej w tym tygodniu obci yli mi kart op at za rozliczenie autostrad, któr zap aci em w czerwcu! Totalnie nieogarni ta firma. PS Min o ponad 30 kolejny dni, od kiedy przes anym Drive On Holidays mail z dowodami na dokonanie p atno ci, któr ponownie pobrali z mojej karty i oczywi cie cisza. adnej reakcji. I cannot recommend when there is better options available right at the aiport. Rented a car through rentals.com to avoid all the high prices from companies like Europcar, Sixt ( located at the aiport.) It was around 600 for 14 days and I choose to have full-protection. To get there, you have to take a shuffle to the rental place, which is not a big issue by itself. The issue was the queue. This was off high season and we still waited over 1hour to be attended by an employee. Not their fault, as they were clearly understaffed. The biggest problem was that at the end of doing the paperwork, they presented a caution of 3600 ( I would get the money back after delivering the car) or, I could go for normal protection ( valued at around 300 ) or full-protection ( valued at around 800 ). And this was not only with me. I heard them having this conversation in EVERYONE in front of me. Cautions from 2000 to 4000 . I ended up paying for more for a worse service and car than if I had gone with Sixt.

Cest tout simplement de larnaque! Jai pris une assurance premium avec carjet et lors de la prise de la voiture on ma dit quelle nétait valable, et on ma Obligée à en prendre une autre chez eux pour le prix de 456 euros. Ce qui ma doublé le prix de ma location de départ ! Largent avancé pour les autoroutes ne pas toujours pas été remboursé. A fuir!!!
Attention !!! un an plus tard, jai été débité de 20 dollars par la compagnie, je ne sais pas ce que cest et je trouve ça inacceptable un an plus tard sans prévenir ou sans même envoyer un email regarder vos comptes car sils font ça à tout le monde cest une somme importante pour eux.
Locaram um carro para meu marido e na hora de devolver alegaram que houve um erro na matrícula do carro e ficaram de devolver o dinheiro do calção até o final do dia e não devolverem. Uma total desorganização!
Aluguei uma viatura com esta empresa, foi debitado o valor do aluguel duas vezes no meu cartão de credito. Liguei para a empresa, enviei um email com a foto da fatura do cartão. A resposta foi: um problema com a empresa que faz o pagamento, não sabemos quando sera resolvido. Primeira e ultima vez.
Mise à jour : les frais avancés nont jamais été remboursés/ pas de réponse aux mails. La hotline ne donne aucune réponse. Moralité : si un tiers abime votre véhicule, même avec un constat à lamiable rempli cette compagnie vous fera payer (en plus dêtre certainement remboursé par lassurance du tiers), du vol ! ------ Agence industrielle, mais honnête. Le check-in et check-out sont rapides (en fonction de la queue bien-sûr). Pousse un peu les options dont lassurance tout risque cher dautant que le paiement est fait avec une carte premium. Une autre voiture de location nous est rentrée dedans pendant notre séjour. Le centre dappel répond rapidement et aiguille plutôt bien. 309 HT de frais de réparation ce qui apparaît honnête si nous avions nous même causé de tels dégâts. Parler anglais ou portugais est un plus.
Wir hatte einen Mietwagen über Booking.com bei Drive in Holidays gebucht. Im Vorfeld hatten wir viele negative Bewertungen gelesen und uns wirklich ein wenig Sorgen gemacht. Über Booking hatten wir dann die Zusatzversicherung abgeschlossen, so dass es bei Abgabe zu keiner bösen Überraschung kommt. Bei der Abholung in Porto wollte man uns jedoch mit einem Zusatzbetrag von ca. 450 Euro diese Vollkaskoversicherung noch einmal verkaufen. Da ist man dann schon unsicher, aber die Mietwagenfirma hat ja auch keine Infos von Booking, dass diese Versicherung bereits abgeschlossen wurde. Wir haben das Angebot dann ausgeschlagen und es wurde die Kaution für den Schadenfall in Höhe von 2.700 Euro auf der Kreditkarte geblockt! Aber das stand ja auch so in den Unterlagen. Der Wagen war genau der, den wir bestellt hatten und top in Ordnung. Bei der Abgabe in Lissabon hat auch alles reibungslos geklappt. Die freundlichen Mitarbeiter haben einen zügigen Ablauf der Rückgabe und den Transport zum Terminal gewährleistet. Ich würde da jederzeit wieder buchen.

Where to start..The check in process takes forever. In addition we returned the car alittle early the day of our return and guess what happened?.........DRUM ROLL THEY CHARGED us a fee to return in early. We will never use this company again. Pessima experiência! Contratos com letras miúdas (tome cuidado)! Cheguei no aeroporto às 23.30 esperei uma hora e ninguém apareceu! Liguei 5x e a mensagem eh que eles estavam fechados! Tive que pagar taxi para ir para o meu hotel e para ir buscar no outro dia de manhã (quase 50 euros). Atendimento lentissimo no check-in, funcionários ficavam falando entre eles, rindo e a fila soh crescia. Meu voo de retorno ao Brasil era cedo e tive que pagar uma taxa de 33 euros pra devolver o carro antecipadamente (surreal). O valor q parecia ser competitivo se mostrou CARO pela péssima experiência! Found I owed for via Verde when returned the car as was not yold there was a charge to yse the facility. Also never had a hire car with so many excessive multiple scratches, when I queried the amount of scratches was just told. Take a video and the rep walked away

Tivemos muitas duvidas em alugar carro aqui com base nas avaliações negativas que lemos, mas diante da diferença entre outras empresas resolvemos arriscar e por aqui foi tudo ótimo. Fomos atendidos rapidamente, o atendente, brasileiro, nos explicou sobre o seguro, perguntou se queríamos, mas deixamos claro que já tínhamos do cartão. Para nós, não houve de forma alguma um oferecimento de forma insistente, apenas um atendente que precisa explicar os prós e contras da contratação. Além disso, é oferecido a tag de pedágio ( 7,95), já que dependendo de onde você for, não tem pagamento manual. Isso é necessário e no caso é feito um caução de 70 no cartão referente a possíveis gastos. Mas em menos de 15 dias já tinham liberado o custo no nosso cartão. Não tivemos problema algum com a empresa e recebemos um carro novo, com apenas 3 alugueis. Para quem se interessar, o seguro oferecido custa 200, isento de franquia, que no nosso caso, como não fechamos, foi de 2mil.
Hier via Sunny cars auto gehuurd. Netjes op vliegveld van lissabon opgehaald. prachtige Hyundai i30 meegekregen. Alles wordt perfect uitgelegd, maar had alle info al van de website gehaald. Advies aan huurders lees de website met alle info dan kom je niet voor verrassingen te staan. echter de chauffeur die ons terugbracht in de ford transit had wel erg veel haast werden flink door elkaar geschut.
All good and in line with booking I made. Car was also new and very nice. My experience is that if you are familiar with your booking (ie need to leave deposit) and local regulations (ie need for international driving license) you will be fine with car rental here.
This is the car rental provider that I usually try to book with in Lisbon as they are more efficient than the others and are very competitive pricewise. Usually I have been in and out with my car in less than 10 minutes but when I rented during peak season in August it took close to an hour of waiting in line to get the car.
The customer service and the cars are great! However they seem to have either slow process or not enough workers because the wait is SO long. I ve rented here several times, as I m now standing in a 3 hour line, I won t be renting from here again. Each customer takes 15 minutes and there s a line out the door. They are helpful and generally provide great service but this is not the first time I ve spent hours here trying to get a car.

Attention a bien avoir une carte bancaire de CREDIT et non pas de DEBIT. Si vous avez une carte de débit vous serez sur-facturé car il ne peuvent pas bloquer la caution et donc ils ajoutent en moyenne 35 /par jour à votre tarif initial. Ce nest pas une arnaque mais ils profitent de notre ignorance en tant que touristes.
Prezados, Venho, por meio desta, expressar minha insatisfação com o atendimento prestado pela Drive on Holidays, referente a um incidente ocorrido durante o aluguel de um veículo, contratado via plataforma Booking. Durante o período em que estivemos com o veículo, tive um mal-estar causado pelo calor excessivo de Lisboa, o que resultou em um desmaio. Neste episódio, acabei perdendo a chave do carro dentro de um táxi, o qual pegamos em caráter emergencial. Apesar de todos os esforços empenhados na tentativa de recuperar a chave junto ao motorista, não obtivemos êxito. No dia seguinte, buscamos assistência diretamente na Drive on Holidays, mas, para nossa surpresa, não recebemos nenhuma ajuda ou empatia diante da situação. Em vez disso, fomos informados de que deveríamos pagar uma taxa de 387 euros para substituir a chave, um valor que consideramos desproporcional e abusivo. Adicionalmente, fomos orientados a recorrer à Booking, sob a alegação de que a Drive on Holidays não poderia resolver o problema. Diante da falta de assistência e da ausência de uma solução razoável, solicito formalmente o reembolso integral do valor cobrado pela chave, uma vez que o atendimento prestado foi insatisfatório e não condiz com a situação vivida. Aguardo um retorno urgente sobre o assunto, esperando que este seja resolvido de forma justa e transparente.

Pay peanuts, get monkeys. I have hired cars all over the world, and this would be the worst company I ve rented a car from. Check In process took over an hour, check out process wasn t that much better. Stated fuel in car was at 7/8, but closer to half. Do not use this service. Looks very cheap but they will kill you with many costs they don t tell you about when making a booking through Expedia or Booking.com
Make picture of all car when taking!!! I did it even person who was at check out assured me all damages are on check out form. Fortunately I made pictures and when giving back the biggest, most obvious damage disappeared from system looked liked extortion

ESCROCS ARNAQUE !!! Nous avons loué 1 voiyure qui se met à fumer 24heure plus tard. Là on dit d avancer 2000euros pour avoir une autre voiture et que cette somme nous sera rembourser si le garagiste attesye que ce n est pas de notre faute. Nous n avions rien fait evidemment. Depuis appels mails et impossible d avoir no le rapports du garagiste ni le remboursement. Et quand on les appellent ils disent soit que le garagiste ne leur a pas envoyé le rapport soit qu ils ne savent pas quel garagiste a reçu l voiture pour analyse. Clairement soit des escros soit une organisation et un service client lamentable ! On va contester lopération.

Actually super easy and simple service, Movida or Drive on Holidays (same company). Was easy and reliable and car was good. Huge line at the pickup as they constantly try to upsell every add on rather than just moving through quickly. One bad thing was a colossal deposit of 2000, most I ve ever heard of for car hire (do so very regularly around the world) But was returned promptly after off hire. Only thing to avoid and these are lessons for all car hire. The up sell. It s how they make their money, ignore all their insurance offers etc and buy yours through a third party- google car hire insurance and you can get cover for like £50 for a year rather than the huge amounts these ever trying salesmen will try to catch you out on!

The hours on the google page should be updated and the phone line, I had a last minute change that made me get to the airport for 6am, I checked on google and said closed until 8am , I called the number and the phone was also off, so I ordered an Uber before getting to the location to make sure I wasn t gonna miss my flight. Little that I know that i got there to drop off the car and it was actually open. The gate to drop off the car wouldn t open after me waiting for a while so I just parked the car in front and dropped off the keys at the counter since I was already late and the guy was still insisting for me to drive the car inside.

All the dashboard reading went dead while we had the car. It looked like a dead fuse. No way to get phone response. I sent E-mails and asked to have someone call me and tell me where to find the fuse box and which fuse to replce. The service reps claimed that they support me only if my car goes dead. They tried convincing me that driving 3.5 hours to the next station is the best they can do :-( Three e-mails didnd help. They just echoed their answer. BTW: Respons time on E-mails for general issues, before pickup was ~48 hours. Reasonable?
!!!!Richtige miese Abzocke!!! Wir haben diese Autovermietung über Booking gebucht. Die Hälfte des Betrages wurde vorab überwiesen, die andere Hälfte war vor Ort zu bezahlen. Nach über 20min Diskussion und trotz der Bestätigung über den Zahlungseingang der 1. Rate, mussten wir den gesamten Betrag zahlen und obendrein wurde uns dann noch eine Versicherung angedreht, obwohl vorab schon eine Vollschutz Versicherung abgeschlossen wurde. Schlussendlich kam uns die Automietung um fast 400 teurer. Die Verständigung war äußerst schwierig, da der Mitarbeiter sehr schlechtes Englisch sprach. Bei Rückgabe des Autos am Flughafen in Faro wurde uns dann eine Rückerstattung von 70 (für was auch immer) versprochen, die immerhalb 30 Tage am Konto einlangen sollte. Natürlich wurde bis dato kein Zahlungseingang verbucht.

Auto war der gebuchten Kategorie angemessen. Wenig KM, zustand gut. Auf unsere bitte auf ein Auto mit verdunkelten Fensterscheibe hinten (wegen Kleinkind) konnte/wollte nicht geholfen werden. Wartezeit bei Abholung (45min) etwas lange. Rückgabe ging wiederum reibungslos und schnell.
Wir haben am Anfang Angst gehabt wegen der zum Teil schlechten Bewertungen aber es war eine 10/10 Mietwagen Erfahrung. Wir mussten nur 20 min warten auf unser Fahrzeug. Es war ziemlich neu und sehr sauber. Die Abwicklung lief sehr gut. Die Abgabe hat nur 5 Minuten gedauert und war auch unkompliziert. Wir sind sehr zufrieden vielen Dank!
Unseriösestes Unternehmen, das ich je erlebt habe. Wollen einfach nur Versicherungen verkaufen, um zu hohe Kautionen ( von ihnen noch mal schnell geändert ( auf 2.200 hochgesetzt trotz online Buchung über Uber Rent hier bereits sehr hohe Kaution über 2150 reduzieren. Bei allen Kunden die dort auch wie wir ewig nämlich 2 h warteten gleiche Masche nur anders. Am Ende behalten sie die hohe Kaution vermutlich ein. Sind ohne Auto dort weg, da wir nicht 217 oder mehr Versicherung extra zahlen wollten , da wir so bei einem seriösen Unternehmen wie Europcar etc . Hätten buchen können und sollen. Super unfreundlich dort. Ist kein Vermieter, sondern Versicherungsmakler. Vorsicht Falle! Ätzend wenn man zwei Kinder dabei hat und Stunden verliert an wertvoller Ferienzeit. Rezensionen sind übrigens alle gleich schlecht hier. Siehe unten! ( Wir haben über check24 gebucht, Drive in Holidays wollten 2100.- Kaution. Muito ruim pedi para fazer alteração para 1 dia a mais, no dia em que aluguei o carro e não me quiseram fazer o serviço, disseram para fazer por internet vou para fazer por internet não consegui ligo para a companhia e dizem que já não é possível fazer alteração agora tenho de abalar um dia antes do meu voo para entregar o carro vou ter de dormir no aereoporto uma noite porque não me quiseram prolongar o contrato de 24h muito mau mesmo
We booked a passenger minibus through a provider Expedia and there was nothing unusual in the booking papers: traffic insurance was included, and a deposit would be needed. Imagine our surprise when Movida demanded a non-refundable FEE of 75 euros with a deposit of 5000 euros or a non-refundable FEE of 500 euros!!! with a deposit of 2000 euros. Movida explained this by saying that the booking was only for 3 days and we were renting a large vehicle. When we asked to rent a smaller vehicle with a lower deposit for the money we had already paid for the larger vehicle, it turned out that they couldnt do that. They could only offer us a new booking and a new smaller vehicle for 500 euros and 75 euros for insurance and no deposit. Moreover, Movida claimed that they would not receive money from the provider for the old booking if the rental didnt actually take place. In the end, when we received the minibus, it had numerous small scratches and several small dents. According to the papers we were given, it was clean and undamaged. We, of course, took videos and photos. When returning the vehicle, Movida claimed that the bus was undamaged, and only the video saved us. Conclusion: stay away from this company.

Efficient and friendly service. Good selection of new cars. There is a free shuttle to the airport (definitely not walking distance), but on the day we dropped off the car it was incredibly busy and the wait to get back to the airport was so long we ordered an Uber.
Mise en garde concernant la location de voiture avec drive on holidays Movida Bonjour à tous, Je souhaite attirer votre attention sur une expérience récente que jai eue en louant une voiture avec Movida. Après avoir recherché des avis en ligne, notamment sur Google (en tapant drive on holidays Movida), il est clair que de nombreuses personnes ont rencontré les mêmes problèmes que moi. Voici quelques points à prendre en compte avant de choisir cette société de location : 1. Mensonges sur les cartes bleues : Movida semble souvent refuser certaines cartes bancaires, obligeant les clients à souscrire à une assurance supplémentaire qui coûte entre 150 et 250 euros.Ma carte avait un plafond à 4000 euros. 2. Frais supplémentaires : Lors de la prise en charge du véhicule, on vous impose un badge de péage pour 18 euros, ainsi quune caution de 70 euros pour les péages. Plus 30 Euros à l arrivée. 3. Service client défaillant : Le jour de la prise en charge du véhicule, personne nétait présent pour faire un état des lieux, ce qui peut poser problème en cas de litige sur létat du véhicule. La voiture était rayées, sale et les jantes abîmés sans compter le minuscule poc sur le pare-brise. 4. Carburant insuffisant : Le véhicule ma été remis avec juste assez de carburant pour faire 40 km, ce qui est loin dêtre acceptable. Pour le retour de voiture à 7 h du matin il faut rajouter 33 euros pour la récupération. Je vous conseille vivement de réfléchir à deux fois avant de louer une voiture avec drive on holidays Movida et de lire attentivement les avis en ligne pour éviter les mauvaises surprises. Si vous avez besoin de plus dinformations ou souhaitez discuter de cette expérience, je suis à votre disposition. Cordialement
Société malhonnête !!!!!!! On a refusé ma carte de crédit pour la caution, mobligeant à prendre une assurance (plus chère que la location). Pour une arrivée de vacances cela fait un sacré trou dans le budget. Malgré les réclamations sur les différentes adresses que lon ma données, pas de nouvelles. Après vérification des différents avis trouvés, LARNAQUE est bien rodée.

Lors de la récupération du véhicule lagent refuse de nous remettre la voiture prétextant que notre carte bancaire ne permet pas la mise en caution et nous demande de payer 228 juste pour ne pas avoir à prendre lempreinte de notre carte. De plus lagent fait mine de ne pas nous comprendre, nous payons à contre c ur. Notre banquier nous confirme connaitre cette ARNAQUE.... Cest une honte pour des professionnels et cette grande enseigne. Jespère que mon avis servira à dautres personnes.
Tempo de espera exagerado.. ficamos em pé em uma fila única durante quase 2h , já me doía os pés de estar levantado a espera . Sistema de senhas seria bom para que pudéssemos esperar tanto tempo sentados . Chegamos às 12.10 neste momento são 13:40 e ainda estamos nesta fila infernal há espera de ser atendidos .. por este andar sinto que vou sair daqui às 15h . Provavelmente não voltarei a alugar carros com esta firma ... deixei minha familia a espera em uma esplanada e estão impacientes me esperando a toda a hora perguntam se ainda vai demorar muito .. inadmissível ter de passar por isto .. no site falam em 20 min para o atendimento o que é uma grande mentira.. aprendam a trabalhar

Took three hours in line to get the car. I had a pick up time of 9 am on the reservation, but even after waiting in line for 2 hours to complete paperwork my car was not ready until 4 pm. Not acceptable. Never booking through this company again.

Movida is for you! Love searching your invoices for hidden fees? Movida! Rude service? Movida! If you dont like these things, unfortunately Movida cannot help you and i would recommend anyone else.
NO LO RECOMIENDO. Pésimo servicio! Alquile un Audi Q3. El primer problema fue como no quise contratar un seguro (mi tarjeta de crédito visa signature me asegura el auto de alquiler) me pedían un deposito de 2.500 euros, mi tarjeta no tenía el límite disponible y no me aceptaron efectivo. Tuve que contratar un seguro con ellos por el mismo valor del que había alquilado el auto. El segundo problema fue cuando me entregaron el auto. Había alquilado un Audi Q3 y cuando voy a buscar el auto era un Skoda rural que usan los taxis. Una categoría MUY inferior. La atención pésima, de mala gana, con cero intención de satisfacer al cliente. También obligan a poner un pase para los peajes que tenés que abonar al regreso. Retienen el depósito unas semanas por si les aparecen más peajes usados. Hoy luego de 6 meses de haber regresado me cobraron 17 usd de más peajes en mi tarjeta. Viaje mucho, y alquile muchos autos. Nunca tuve una experiencia tan mala, se aprovechan que uno llega cansado del avión, y la agencia al estar fuera del aeropuerto (hay que ir en Transfer) no hay opción de cancelar e ir a otra.

Wir hatten eine tolle Erfahrung mit Movida :) Der Shuttle war erst ein weniger schwer am Flughafen zu finden, aber es lief alles reibungslos. Sonst kann man auch einfach mit dem Uber direkt dorthin fahren. Freundliches Personal, schnelle Abwicklung, gutes Auto (Opel Corsa). Auch die Rückgabe lief ohne Probleme. Ich kann es empfehlen.

Unseren Mietwagen haben wir über CHECK24 gebucht. Abgesehen von der Wartezeit bei der Abholung vor Ort waren wir sehr zufrieden. Die Wartezeit bei der Abholung betrug allerdings an einem Samstagmittag, trotz fünf besetzter Schalter, etwa eine Stunde. Als wir bei der Abholung an der Reihe waren, ging die Übergabe dann jedoch recht zügig. Der Mietwagen war in sehr gutem Zustand und sehr sauber. Die Rückgabe war einfach und unkompliziert und dauerte lediglich etwa 10 min. Auch bei der Bezahlung und Hinterlegung der Kaution mit einer Visa-Karte gab es keine Probleme. Eine zusätzliche Versicherung oder dergleichen wurde uns nicht angeboten.

During high season (Aug) there was a line for pickup, about 50min wait. All desks were open. Return was very smooth, 5min of work. Shuttle to the airport, terminal 1.
Avoid if possible, not worth at all - first, the shuttle service is absolutely terrible. No signs at the airport and you have to ask (ironically, I asked sixt employees about drive on holidays shuttle. Wish I had rented w/ sixt) where the shuttle arrives - then, when the shuttle did arrive, the driver took another group that arrive AFTER us first because they occupy the entire van (so what?! They got there later...) - after that you arrive at the store and, DESPITE ALREADY HAVING FULL INSURANCE VIA THE APP, the staff says you either need to deposit 2800 euros in advance to cover any damage or pay another 170 euros to do their insurance (which covers everything except tires, which is the item with highest likelihood of being damaged in your trip... oh the irony). In other words, you have to pay a lot more or just a little more than the agreed value and, spoiler alert, you end up paying more than sixt/europcar/hertz - finally, the car given was inferior than the one we we were promised. All in all, if you can, avoid here and do yourself a favor by saving money and stress by going to a superior rental car company Until never, Movida/drive on holidays. Best regards

Pessima e poco attendibile. Cercano di fare up-selling in qualunque modo e sono poco chiari nell offerta. inoltre sono estremamente lenti e burocratici con standard ben diversi da più note compagnie di car rental europee. La cosa più assurda è che mi hanno costretto ad assicurarmi nuovamente dopo aver gia comprato una copertura completa tramite Booking per questo noleggio! Perché? Beh, ti dicono che la polizza comprata via Booking non vale con loro. Ma diamine e la polizza acquistata tramite il loro intermediario Booking proprio per il viaggio nella loro maledetta auto. E se non vuoi ricomprare la polizza, allora devono chiederti un deposito di 2.200 euro tramite carta di credito. Inoltre, la carta di credito deve essere rigorosamente del guidatore, non vale un altro membro della famiglia. Poi cercano di venderti la qualunque con disco di vendita assai discutibile. State alla larga. Spenderò tempo per generare un vero reclamo a loro e al loro intermediario. Sentenza: inaffidabili. Bocciati.

Waited almost an hour to get the car but after that everything went smoothly. Got the device for tolls (highly recommended because if not you have to pay each toll in kind). Staff was friendly , would use again.
Hired a car from Movida. Car was good quality and in good condition. However two things made it a very poor overall experience: 1. Three hour queue to collect the car when we arrived (pictured). Poor staffing levels, lots of time spent trying to upsell people on unnecessary insurance even as the queue grew. Actually check in process very very slow, even without all the faffing about. Was an atrocious start to a holiday. 2. They make almost no effort to explain the toll road activation. They take a 70 deposit and say that sorts it, but dont explain at all that you have to activate something in order to not incur extra fees. The actual additional charges werent enormous but other relatives who hired from other companies did not experience this problem, and just had an auto-activated car for the tolls. I would not recommend hiring from Movida, and would recommend avoiding this company.
We hired a car for 3 days at a relatively cheap price. Was impressed with the car however the overall service was really poor. We informed the company we would collect the car at 1pm. We arrived on time and it took 30 minutes before the shuttle collected us. On arrival at the office, the queue was out of the door and took 2 hours to get our car. I have hired cars in a number of different countries from different services and have never experienced such a wait. When raising this with staff I was simply told well its summer. 2 friends had hired cars from different providers at the same time and were in and out in less than 30 minutes! This massively impacted on our plans and the start of our holiday. I also noticed the excess they hold is significantly higher than other providers, holding nearly 2000 on my credit card whereby friends had around 250 held. This also took a few weeks to be released which is a lot of money to not have immediately returned. Returning the car was a little smoother however again a longer wait than I have previously experienced taking around 1 hour. Luckily we didnt have to rush for our flight as we decided to drop the car off early given the long wait we experienced collecting it. Wouldnt recommend or use again.
A FUIR! Très mauvaise expérience, JAMAIS je ne relouerais avec cette compagnie. Je suis passée par Auto europe et jai vraiment regretté mon choix. 1er point le loueur nest pas à côté de laéroport il faut donc prévoir plus de temps pour restituer le véhicule. A la réception de notre voiture, lemployé nous a mis une grosse pression pour souscrire une assurance à + de 200 euros en nous disant que nous avons une grosse franchise en cas de sinistre (nous lavons souscrit sous la pression mais à contre coeur), il nous a obligé à prendre labonnement à 11 euros de télépéage! au moment de régler il nous facture 50 euros en plus en me disant que je navais pas tout réglé de ma location. Là je ne comprenais pas pourquoi comme par hasard il ne nous parlait plus en espagnol comme nous lui avions demandé. Jai appelé une amie portugaise qui a échangé avec lui et bizarrement les 50 euros venaient dun bug informatique... nous sommes partis énervés se sentant pris dans un piège à touristes! La location nous a coûté très chère au final.

Avoid this company at all costs. Upon collection of the vehicle we were faced with hidden fees that just weren t obvious to us at the time of booking. What we thought was thought was going to be an expense of around £150 resulted in costing us over £400 due to the pressure of buying additional insurance upon collection of the vehicle, as we were told the insurance we had bought at the time of booking online was invalid. When the vehicle arrived it had multiple dents and scratches that were undocumented and we had to force the employee to walk around the car with us. The real problem lies with the fact that we accidentally left a bag at the establishment with nearly £200 worth of belongings within (childrens tablet, toys, headphones). The company advised us they would hold to an our bag until we returned the vehicle. Upon return of the car we were told they could no longer find our bag and it was not where they had left it in safe keeping. We were later contacted by the company upon our return to the UK advising they had found the bag and would send it to us. This was over two months ago, they are now failing to respond to any of our correspondence and I am left with no option but to file a police report for the theft of our property. I am outraged at the actions of this company and would avoid at all costs.
Wir haben uns für zwei Wochen hier ein Auto gemietet zu einem, wie ich finde, recht günstigen Preis. Vor dem Terminal haltet ihr am besten Ausschau nach einem orangefarbenen Van. Auf meiner Bestätigung stand Drive in Holidays, was aber zu Movida gehört. Eine kurze Fahrt in ein Industriegebiet später waren wir vor Ort. Ich hatte die Kleinwagen- Kategorie gewählt, da wir nur zu zweit waren. Wir bekamen einen Opel Astra in weiß, der knapp 36.000 km auf der Uhr hatte, was also vollkommen ok ist für einen Mietwagen. Der Wagen hatte kleine Macken, die dokumentiert waren, also alles ok. Der Wagen hatte auch Android Auto und Apple Car, sowie ein Navi , obwohl nicht gebucht (musste auch nicht bezahlt werden). Der Mitarbeiter am Empfang fragte uns ob wir das Mautsystem (Via Verde) nutzen möchten, was ich mit ja beantwortete (hierzu gleich mehr). Kurz die Abbuchungen erklärt, dann haben wir das Auto in Empfang genommen, kurz gecheckt und ab dafür. Da wir einen sehr frühen Rückflug hatten und mir das morgens alles zu stressig war, haben wir den Wagen einen Tag früher zurück gebracht. War auch kein Problem. Ich würde auch gefragt ob alles OK war, wir zufrieden waren etc. Alles tutti also. Lediglich mein linkes Bein muss ich jetzt wieder trainieren da die Kupplung von meinem Auto deutlich straffer ist als die des Opels, aber darüber kann ich hinweg sehen. Er war auch etwas schwach auf der Brust, dafür hat er aber sehr wenig geschluckt. Wir haben gut 2.300 km abgerissen, daher war das vollkommen ok. Nun zum Rest: ich hatte mir vorher die Rezensionen hier durchgelesen und hatte etwas Angst. Völlig unbegründet!!! Wenn man sich vorher mal schlau macht, dann weiß man um das Mautsystem in Portugal und ich kann nur jedem raten der ein wenig die Gegend erkunden will das Via Verde System dazu zu buchen. Hierfür werden einmalig knappe 19 Euro von der Kreditkarte abgebucht, was für die Nutzung des Systems ist und einmal 70 Euro, welche als Sicherheit dienen für die Abbuchungen die nach der Rückgabe des Fahrzeuges noch kommen. Denn als wir den Wagen am 2.7. zurück gebracht haben, gab es erst die Abbuchungen von Via Verde bis zum 28.6., es dauert also ein paar Tage bis man die Buchungen /Fahrten einsehen kann, von daher finde ich eine Art Pfand vollkommen in Ordnung. Die bis zur Rückgabe aufgelaufenen Beträge haben wir bei der Rückgabe beglichen und die Kaution wurde auch sofort wieder freigegeben. Jetzt warte ich nur noch auf die restliche Erstattung der 70 Euro und das wars dann. Verstehe die Leute hier nicht die dick darüber beschweren und aufregen. Einfach mal zuhören, den uns wurde alles ganz genau erklärt. Die Mitarbeiter waren freundlich und entspannt, daher jederzeit gerne wieder. PS: wenn ihr Zeit habt, nehmt nicht die Autobahnen, sondern die mautfreien Straßen. Wir kommen aus NRW und sind Kummer mit kaputten Straßen gewohnt ;-) die Nebenstraßen in Portugal sind zu 98% besser als die Straßen hier in NRW, von daher nehmt die, spart Geld für die Maut und man entdeckt viele kleine Dörfer, Strände, Wälder etc, die nicht total überlaufen sind.
We did not get picked up at the airport with the airport shuttle. We called the help line over 10 times and had to take a taxi because the rental was closing. They would not reimburse us for the taxi. We then emailed the provider and did not get a response

Wir hatten ein Auto Klasse C ohne Navi etc. gebucht. Vor Ort gab es bei der Abholung leider leichte Komplikationen aufgrund eines schlechten Marketings von Sunny Cars. Nachdem wir dies geklärt hatten, erhielten wir das Auto und konnten ohne Probleme losfahren. Wir bekamen einen Renault Clio, was ca. 6.000km gefahren war, also quasi neu. Top Wagen, alles sauber und alles funktioniert. Rückgabe lief deutlich besser, dort gab es keine Komplikationen oder Missverständnisse. Top Service, in ca.10-15min waren wir durch. Es wurde nicht versucht, uns vor Ort eine Extraversicherung abzuschließen oder uns sonst was anzudrehen, dass ist ein Pluspunkt. Leider konnten die Mitarbeiter bei der Abholung kein gutes Englisch und es gab Verständnisschwierigkeiten. Beim Auto und der Rückgabe gibt es nichts zu meckern. Daher vergebe ich 5/5 Sterne.
Wir hatten uns einen Wagen , für 4 Tage gebucht . Der Anfang sprich am Flughafen jemand zu finden war bisschen schwer. In der Autovermietung war das Personal sehr sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir können echt nur sehr positiv sprechen . Wenn wir das nächste mal in Portugal sind zu nur noch die Vermietung. Danke für den tollen Service.

Duurde anderhalf uur om aan de beurt te komen, veel te weinig medewerkers: nooit meer!!!! Het kost heel veel tijd om in te checken. Als je alleen komt, ben je de sjaak want dan sta je dus al die tijd in de rij. Slechter begin van een vakantie kan bijna niet.
We checked with the call center if we can return the car ahead of time and they said yes. Once we came to return the car they asked us to pay a fine for an early return of 32 euros. Any attempts to speak with customer service and explain that we were misinformed failed so we had to take back the car... Stupidity at its best

The car reviews you read are 100% true. First when we picked up the car with extra 210 euro insurance payment since they wont accept a debit card even though we had a 3.6k euro deposit available. Second , they wont tell you that you need to activate the rolling device and charge you a 20 euro at a checkout for not pressing a button on the device you didnt known exist. To the company management- Youre literally the biggest crooks of a company and/or your employees dont give a damn about explaining anything to your customers. Theyre just interested in maxing charges for the company using guerrilla tactics. I wont be surprised if my 70 euro extra deposit you requested will never get back to me. On the bright side - cars are in good condition.
Via Sunnycars gehuurd en hier uitgekomen. Er werd keurig op het vliegveld op ons gewacht. Eerst daar een 20 minuten moeten wachten op transfer, omdat de auto vol was. Daarna meer dan een uur in de rij moeten wachten om aan de balie aan de beurt te komen. In principe boek je all-in. Toch aan de balie gedoe over een tolkastje. Deze kunnen ze aan of uitzetten, maar als die aanstaat moet je 16,50 extra betalen. Erg vervelend dat ik op dat moment hierover moet beslissen. Ik boek niet voor niets all-in. Ik moest tekenen voor de staat van de auto, maar niemand loopt mee om de schades na te lopen. Ik kan geen Portugees, dus kan niet lezen wat er genoteerd is. Ik heb dit aangekaart, maar moest er maar op vertrouwen dat alles goed was. Zeer slechte service. Vervelend begin van de vakantie.

Zum Auto kann man nichts negatives sagen. Unser Renauld Captur hatte nur 9000km und war in sehr gutem Zustand. Preis/Leistung war für uns ok. Allerdings dauerte die Abholung zu lange. Man muss mehrmals signieren und es ist alles recht kompliziert. Schlimmer noch bei der Rückgabe. Wir standen 30min in der Schlange um dann zu erfahren dass wir am falschen Schalter sind. Am Drop off Schalter sagte man uns dann man müsse das Fahrzeug zuerst von einem Mitarbeiter checken lassen. Warum wird man nicht besser eingwiesen bei der Rückgabe? Leider muss ich auch erwähnen dass die Freundlichkeit der Mitarbeiter zu wünschen lässt, vorallen der junge Herr am Drop off Schalter war sehr unmotiviert und wortkarg.
They are a fraud, they dont allow you to get the insurance and then someone tried to rob the car and they damaged the lock. They charged me 800eur while a normal mechanic charges 60eur. They are making money on it!

Terrible experience. Avoid at all costs. They lied to me about needing to return my rental because they were selling the car. I had to drive 2-3 hours back to get a new rental. When I arrived, they offered me the same car they claimed they were selling. I watched as they washed it and rented it to someone else. The manager was extremely unhelpful, defensive and full of excuses and lies. I canceled my new rental and will never use them again. Please avoid this company, unless you want to waste your holidays.
Terrible experience. I had purchased full coverage insurance through the intermediary and still had to buy insurance through them. Also had to have an additional deposit. On top of that they didnt give us the card to charge the car (plug-in hybrid) and then their exuse for that was that if they had given us the card we would have had to pay to charge the car. Well no kidding, same as paying for gas.

Les points positifs : - Navettes régulières de/vers l aéroport sur le site qui se trouve à 5 min - Le centre pour récupérer et ramener la voiture est facile d accès et fonctionne bien. - La voiture est dans un état correct pour le prix payé (quelques griffes) Les points négatifs : - On essaye à tout prix de vendre une assurance complémentaire en demandant des cautions importantes. Il faut tenir bon pour ne pas la payer. - La facturation exorbitante de l essence alors qu on reçoit la voiture avec un demi plein. Mon conseil : faire une photo de la jauge d essence au départ (pour éviter la discussion sur le niveau précis) et si nécessaire faire l appoint à la pompe BP située à 200m (ouverte 24/24). Nous avons ajouté 10 d essence pour épargner un supplément de 45 et on se garde bien de vous conseiller d y aller vous même. En résumé si vous prenez garde aux tentatives de suppléments, le rapport qualité / prix est très bon.

Only after I insisted did she look again and got me the reserved car. 3. The agent tried to sell extremely expensive insurance. 4. The car was in good condition. 5. Haben über booking.com unser Auto bei dieser Autovermietung gebucht. Vor Ort mussten wir feststellen, dass es eine reine Abzocke ist. Hauptproblem war erst, dass die Kreditkarte nicht mit dem Hauptfahrer übereinstimmte. Es war weder möglich einen zweiten Fahrer einzutragen, noch den Hauptfahrer zu ändern. Schon hier war die Lösung der Mitarbeiter, dass wir einfach eine teure Versicherung abschließen könnten und somit keine Kaution zahlen müssten. Sehr einstudiert, hat der Mitarbeiter hierbei Zettel und Stift gezückt, um uns die verschiedenen Möglichkeiten der Versicherungen aufzuzeigen. Während unseres mehrstündigen Aufenthalts aufgrund dessen wurden wir darauf aufmerksam, dass es scheinbar eine Masche dort ist. Mehrere weitere Kunden haben sich beschwert, andere haben es so hingenommen und zusätzliche Versicherungen abgeschlossen, um ein Auto zu bekommen. Auch kamen uns die Mitarbeiter wenig entgegen. Sie verwiesen uns darauf, das Problem mit booking zu klären. Wir haben schlussendlich das Ganze storniert und über eine vertrauenserweckendere Autovermietung ein Auto gebucht.

Tudo correu bem até que, depois de entregar o carro, me informaram que não podiam fazer o transporte para o terminal 2 do aeroporto devido a carros civis nao poderem ir ao local, coisa que ate ao momento em todos os contactos com a empresa, me foi informado que o faziam rotineiramente. Conclusão, sou deixado com a esposa e bebe no aeroporto, no terminal 1 com 3 malas de 20 kg e 3 mochilas com a informação, o terminal 2 é para aquele lado. Fui-me informar com um policia e descubro que é mentira. Não só me mentiram em todos os contactos em que os questionei sobre este assunto, mentiram também no último momento deixando uma família super carregada a uma longa distância do local prometido. Se não for para fazer o serviço em condições, não o façam. Aluguem só carros porque assim as pessoas já fazem os planos a condizer com as necessidades

If you plan to rent a car with them be careful as they try to force you to buy unnecessary insurances! I booked a car with them through Expedia and the price was reasonable. In Expedia it had properly stated that it will include insurance with 2100 Euro deductible. Additionally, it was clearly stated that for travelling to Spain additional Cross border fees are required. When I arrived, the reception clerk lied to me and said if I want to take the car to Spain, in addition to Cross Border fee I have to buy additional insurance (approximately 250 Euros) otherwise if I have an accident in Spain it not be covered by the insurance! The individual forced me to buy the insurance although it was not required. When I returned the car, the person who competed the check in told me the insurance was nit required!!!!

Der Shuttlebus war schnell da. Bei der Abholung das Autos standen wir lange an (15 Min). Wir haben keinerlei Einweisung zum Auto sowie das Fahren in Portugal erhalten. Das Auto hatte keine 14.000km gefahren. Nach 8 km hatten wir einen Reifenplatzer auf der Autobahn. Am Telefon wurde uns geraten auf der Autobahn das Notrad zu montieren. Das Auto hatte kein Notrad. Nach über 2 Std und mehreren Anrufen wurden wir von einem Abschleppdienst zu einer Werkstatt geschleppt. Da haben wir erfahren das wir beide Hinterreifen tauschen lassen müssen und dies selbst bezahlen müssen (305 ). Nach 4 weiteren Stunden konnten wir unsere Fahrt fortsetzen und die Reise lief reibungslos. Bei der Rückgabe des Autos ging es chaotisch zu. Der Mitarbeiter tippte auf seinem Display herum. Uns wurde das Tablet zur Unterschrift hingehalten. Eintragungen und Notizen waren nicht zu sehen. Später sahen wir dann, dass 3 neue Schäden bei unserer Rückgabe registriert wurden. Angeblich alles Schäden die wir bei unserer Abholung vor 10 Tage durch uns gefunden wurden. Ich persönlich würde diese Autovermietung nicht noch einmal nutzen. Das Auto an sich war super.
A Drive On Holidays
We hadden voor onze flydrive via TUI en Sunny Cars een auto gehuurd bij Drive on Holidays. Nu paste er niet één koffer in de achterbak en we hadden er twee. Dat is erg lastig tijdens een fly drive. De lieve medewerkster van Drive on Holidays heeft ons een grotere auto aangeboden. We waren bereid om extra te betalen, maar we mochten hem meenemen zonder toeslag. Wat een super service. Heel blij met deze start van onze vakantie.
A éviter absolument !! Voiture dégueulasse, personnel désagréable, donne des prix en ligne attractif et arrivé sur place on vous réclame 15 fois le prix indiqué et évidemment ne vous rembourse pas!! Ce sont des escroc. De plus endroit très sale

Met at the airport - representative in orange top so easy to spot. Orange mini van to VERY orange building, about 10min drive away. Easy check -in, car ready and available, all explained very well. Polite, Friendly, good English all round. Clean WC in main building. Would happily use again. Wish it was a bit closer, but at least I wasnt in the traffic in/out of the airport!
Muito ruim, comparando com as outras locadoras de Portugal com certeza essa foi a pior. Cobram taxas abusivas, demoram a fazer o estorno do caução, carro estava sem óleo (coloquei e não me reembolsaram), fila gigantesca para devolver o carro (eu paguei a mais pra não ter isso). Resumindo: não escolham essa locadora.
Good pick up but long check-in, we were the first in line but still waited at least 20min for all the paperwork, do not understand why a self check-in like on planes is not possible
Pick up took bit time, but the car was very good. Dropping car back took also bit time as I had a stone hit, but at the end we managed it and shuttle bus was ready to take us to the airport. If you look for the pick up, just go right when you arrive at the airport. Not to all the pick up in front.

Op het vliegveld stond op de afgesproken plek een aardige dame klaar die ons naar een shuttle-busje begeleidde. Na 10 minuten waren we op de verhuur locatie. Na ongeveer 10 minuten wachten waren we aan de beurt. Bij Drive On Holidays in Lissabon werden wij goed geholpen met een duidelijke uitleg over het huurcontract. Het voertuig, een Skoda, stond netjes en schoon binnen voor ons klaar. Ook het inleveren -na 6 dagen- verliep voorspoedig en vlot. Een uitstekende prijs/ kwaliteit verhouding en we huren in de toekomst weer graag bij Drive On Holidays.
Réservation via discover cars, peu chère une voiture de gabarit moyen, 30 000km état ok qui fonctionne bien, on a eu directement un problème de clef (carrément la clef...qui était sacrément abîmée quand on y regarde de plus près ! Des le premier jour. Très désagréable mais nous avons trouvé comment nous débrouiller pour louvrir la fermer et démarrer. Laccueil était sympa, un jeune homme qui parlait anglais et français, pas de frais surprise, retour identique, on m a indiqué après un check essence et état que la caution était rendue (2000 + 70 pour les péages). Je mets 4 étoiles a cause de la clef vétuste pas en état mais sinon très bien. A mon avis il faut passer par un intermédiaire pour ce loueur cu les commentaires qui font peur.
Ich kann die negativen Bewertungen in keinster Weise nachvollziehen. Sowohl das Abholen, als auch die Rückgabe verliefen ganz geschmeidig (je ca 5-15 min). Mir wurden keine weiteren Versicherungen angeboten. Das Auto war krach neu (Renault Kaptur). Die Via Verde konnte für 19 für 3 Wochen problemlos dazugebucht werden. Der Shuttle-Service war zuverlässig und schnell. Alle Angestellten waren super nett. Meine volle Empfehlung.
Auto gehuurd via Carjet. Alles geregeld daar aangekomen bleek dat ik toch nog een extra verzekering moest afsluiten terwijl die al in de deal van Carjet zat. De jongen bij de balie was redelijk agressief in zijn houding en zei alleen dat het zo was en klaar, verder geen uitleg of iets. Hierdoor werd het huren van de auto nog duurder en heb ik een naar opgelicht gevoel overgehouden.
Não compreendo alguns dos comentários negativos em relação a esta empresa de aluguer. Tenho feito diversos alugueres com esta empresa tanto Lisboa como Porto e sinceramente nunca tive o mínimo problema. Tanto a nivel de preços, seguros ou outras taxas inerentes ao aluguer. Por mim continuarei a alugar sempre que precisar. E há anos que chego a precisar mais de 5 ou 6 vezes. Penso que este ano já foram 3. 2 no Porto e 1 em Lisboa( com novas instalações). Sem problemas.

AVOID IT I had a terrible experience with the car rental company in May 2024. They gave me a damaged car that broke down on the motorway because the clutch gave out. I had to cut my trip short and return to Lisbon the following day. Despite this, they charged me 2,000 euros. So far, they have not provided me with a mechanics report so that I can contact my insurance, and they are not responding to my emails or the complaint I made using the Portuguese Livro de Reclamações. I will seek legal assistance due to this companys lack of professional support. Now, checking the reviews, I noticed there are others with the same problem. AVOID IT

Muito Ruim Solicitaram uma pre autorização que foi aprovada e em seguida lançaram como débito o carro foi devolvido um dia antes do prazo sem qualquer dano A gerente despreparada além de tratar mal e não proceder o estorno do lançamento indevido foi rude elevando a voz solicitei a regularização e me mencionaram que isto ocorreria em até 10 dias ou seja ficar o com os recursos por todo este prazo
Wie beschrieben war ein Mitarbeiter von Drive on holidays am Vodafone- Shop im Flughafengebäude. Er sagte uns dann Bescheid, als der saubere Transferbus da war. Am Schalter dort ging alles gut und flott. Das Auto hatte ca 16000km und war sauber. Rückgabe in Faro hat auch problemlos funktioniert. So sollte es laufen

Toller Service, sehr schöne und neue Fahrzeuge, alles lief sehr schnell und professionell ab. Unbefugte das Gerät für die Maut mitbuchen. Gerade Richtung Algarve geht sonst nichts auf der Autobahn.
Bei uns hat alles wie gewünscht geklappt. Keine Wartezeiten bei Check-in und auch nicht beim car return. Zudem ein tolles neues Auto. Sehr gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis.

Didn t have the car as promised, tell us to wait until it s ready, was never ready, got a car that was already there since the beginning - waiting game of two hours and a half, why don t give us the other car immediately? And the manager said : wait for the car or cancel your reservation. Don t rent here. Never.
Best Car Rental. Transfer from and to Airport was fast without any problems. Car handover was quick and professional. No problems about additional insurance or credit card. Return was also quick and experience was fair. Deposit was directly cancelled on the card. Car return is seperated from car checkout so you dont have to wait, when you are on a rush to the airport. Would book again there, If i need a car at LIS Airport.
On va commencer par le mieux: voiture nickel, pas de soucis lors du retour. Navette ok. Le pire: vous dire que votre carte de credit naccepte pas la caution assurance de 1500 euros. Et vous faire payer une assurance de 250 euros supplémentaire pour que vous puissiez prendre le véhicule. Des voleurs, impossible de discuter. Ils font comme si ils ne comprennaient pas. Bref je ne recommande pas du tout ce loueur. Je précise que ma carte de crédit avait largement un plafond au dessus 8000 euros. Un attrape touristes.

Die Abholung des Fahrzeugs verlief obwohl die Station außerhalb des Flughafens ist recht einfach. Der Verkäufer erklärte uns das meiste und händigte und anschließend den Mietvertrag aus, welchen wir unterzeichnen sollten, obwohl wir das Fahrzeug noch nicht gesehen haben. Anschließend fiel noch eine zweite?! Jungfahrergebühr an, da mein Mitfahren ebenfalls erst 23 Jahre alt war, was bei anderen Autovermietungen so nicht üblich ist. Aber naja wenn es viel kostet wird es wohl auch ein gutes Auto sein. Bei Inaugenscheinnahme des Fahrzeuges fiel recht schnell auf, dass es mehr Dellen und Beulen hatte, als auf dem Vertrag angegeben. Als wir den Verkäufer darauf ansprachen, meinte dieser lediglich, dass die Vorschäden nicht in das Fenster auf dem Vertrag passen, aber alles eingetragen sei. Zur Absicherung riet er uns Bilder zu machen. Als wir am nächsten Tag in Richtung Porto fuhren, merkten wir bei dem nächssteileren Berg, dass das Auto nicht richtig zieht. Der Berg war nur mit erheblichen Geschwindigkeitsverlust machbar, an der Bergkuppe zeigte das Tacho noch stolze 30 Kmh an. Auf der Autobahn. Daher entschieden wir uns umzukehren und das Auto umzutauschen. Der Verkäufer schaute sich das Auto erst garnicht richtig an, meinte stattdessen das dass Auto nicht so leistungsstark ist und zweifelte meine Fahrfähigkeit an, da ich meinen Führerschein erst 5 Jahre besäße und Keine Ahnung vom Autofahren hätte. Nach einer 20 minütigen Diskussion sowie Kontaktierung von Check24 konnten wir das Auto zum Glück dennoch tauschen. Ohne einen Freund welcher fließend portugiesisch spricht, wäre mir das wohl nie gelungen, denn Englisch sprach der Verkäufers wohl recht ungern. Immerhin haben wir im Anschluss einen leistungsfähigeren und ebenfalls mit Kratzern und Dellen versehenes Auto bekommen. Immerhin die Rückgabe des Fahrzeugs sowie der Shuttle zum Flughafen verliefen ohne weitere Probleme. Nochmal Buchen würde ich hier unter keinen Umständen.
I ve rented with Drive on Holidays a couple of times now and always had great experiences! Best prices, reasonably priced extras (like night drop-off and extra driver), hustle-free and efficient pick-up and drop-off, friendly personnel. They don t try to force any insurance on you and are also not trying to cheat you with damages on the car. Everything was very easy, fair and friendly. For me the best rental company in Lisbon
Delayed service, delayed our plans for about an hour. A bit disorganized, when the vehicle was delivered they had not reported any scratches from the carriage in the report, so we made sure to record videos. They themselves recommend it, how illogical, but the detailed video of all the scratches on the car worked very well. If we did not have it, we were charged the insurance (2.100 )...
We made the reservation online and picked up the car at the airport. We were very well looked after by Guilherme upon arrival and also when checking in and returning the vehicle with the attendant Michel. A great car, we got a hybrid C5. I highly recommend it.
Unfortunately, there is no knowledge of the language or the willingness to explain things in an understandable way. Only expensive insurance is sold. Unfortunately it cannot be recommended.
Já aluguei em diversas locadoras de Lisboa e essa foi uma das melhores. O atendimento do funcionário Rodolfo foi excelente. Achamos o porta malas do carro que alugamos muito pequeno. Após ele nos acompanhar por vários modelos, nos deu um upgrade grátis para um carro muito maior. A devolução também foi muito rápida e os atendentes foram gentis.
No dia de pegar o carro havia a fila considerável e ficamos quase 1 hora ali. Mas correu tudo bem o carro foi o solicitado, deixamos todas as cauções necessárias e ainda aguardamos os cancelamentos no cartão.
We had an overall great experience renting from Drive on Holidays for our Portugalroad trip. Our car was awesome (clean, barely used, etc.) and the nice woman who helped us was sweet. I had read through many of these reviews prior to renting from this company and was a tad concerned, but we had no issues that would keep us from renting from them again. The only downfall in our experience was that we waited at least two hours in line at pick up and that pushed our first day back a bit. It is true that they have you put down a $3,600 (maybe it was euros?) deposit, which I thought was pretty intense and had never experienced before when renting a car but eh, we had no issues.
Via Sunny Cars twee autos gehuurd. Op de aangegeven plek stond een aardige dame met een herkenbaar bordje en tenue die ons wees waar we in het shuttlebusje konden stappen. De chauffeur reed wel wat haastig door het drukke verkeer, maar zo`n elektrisch busje trekt nou eenmaal snel op... Inchecken duurde wel wat lang, maar dat lag vooral aan de verwerkingssnelheid van de medewerker. (en als hollander zijn we wellicht niet zo gewend aan zuid-europees tempo). Autos waren netjes. Bij terugkomst wordt na inleveren een korte check gedaan. Verliep verder vlot. Busjes rijden continu rond, dus waren we weer snel op de luchthaven. Dit keer een rustiger type achter het stuur ;-). Al met al een prima ervaring!

Cette compagnie est à éviter. Si vous avez pris une assurance préalablement ils feront tout au comptoir pour vous intimider, dénigrer lassurance que vous avez prise et vous forcer à prendre la leur à un prix excessif. Le commis qui nous a accueilli à la prise en charge et au retour avait une attitude exécrable. Heureusement que nous avons vérifié le niveau dhuile à moteur car la jauge touchait à peine lhuile. Heureusement que nous avons eu la présence de vérifier et ajouter de lhuile. Le commis ne nous a pas cru et à refusé de rembourser lhuile ajoutée même si nous avons peut-être sauvé un montant énorme à la compagnie. Il vous vous éviter des frustrations et opter pour une compagnie qui démontre un minimum de considération pour sa clientèle.
Pas super recommandable. Personne très désagréable au comptoir, la voiture que nous avions réservée avait été louée, nous avons eu heureusement une autre mais avec un sous classement sans compensation financière. Aucune explication sur la voiture, le siège enfant réservé cher ne fonctionnait pas, nous avons finalement eu juste un petit rehausseur apres moultes palabres mais à nouveau sans modification de prix... bref, sentiment dêtre arnaque.

Mussten länger warten bis wir an den Bearbeiter kamen. Dann die übliche Zeit Papiere bis man den Wagen entgegen nehmen kann. Alles fotografisch festhalten am Auto auch die Tankuhr fotografieren und Tankbelege aufheben bei Abgabe.

Abholung per Shuttle hat super geklappt. Nettes Personal. Wir hatten über CHECK24 Vollkasko ohne Selbstbeteiligung. Bei Abholung sollte aber bei der Kreditkarte die Selbstbeteiligung hinterlegt werden. Das wurde aber kurz geklärt. Ggf aufpassen bzgl Verkauf von Extras und Versicherungen! Zusätzlich mussten wir noch 17 für ViaVerde bezahlen + 70 Kaution die auf der Kreditkarte blockiert wurde für die Abrechnung der anfallenden Mautkosten nach Abgabe. Bei Abgabe gabs eine Aufschlüsselung der ViaVerde Buchung, die dann beglichen werden. Waren ca 4 Tage alt. Die weiteren Buchungen werden dann mit den 70 verrechnet. Gerne wieder.

Beatriz was so helpful, and met all of our requests and gave us great advice. We got the full insurance and the transponder for toll booths, we had no worries and got a great car.
Das Abholen am Flughafen in Lissabon war super. Im Gebäude war dann aber eine lange Schlange, und zeitweise haben nur 3 von 9 Mitarbeitern die Wartenden abgefertigt, so dass wir über eine Stunde warten mussten.

A slow checkin caused by other tourists who had problems. Car was good low mileage and as ordered (hybrid). Toll option accepted. Good and friendly transfer to airport.
It was the most affordable rental place online until you checkin. Then it was the most expensive rental I have had after their obligatory insurance fees.

This is the worst car rental company I have ever dealt with. They push insurance that is several times more expensive than the rental, block a deposit of 3600 euros for three months, and as a result, you waste a lot of time and money. Use other services. Dont fall for the supposedly cheap rental. In the end, you get a much worse quality car for much more money and time.
Nunca é o valor contratado pelo site. Fui até o balcão fazer o levantamento da viatura e o valor a pagar era ainda mais superior .

These guys are scam artists....avoid them at all costs! Tell you that you pay a refundable deposit verbally, give you a contract to sign which says different. That is a false sale. I already had car insurance when picking up my car and told the person behind the counter, he still made me pay 220 euros for what I thought was a holding deposit that would be returned, turns out it was insurance which I didnt need. I tried to clarify this many times verbally with the service attendant when picking up car and he promised me money would be returned. When dropping back was explained this was not the case. I was not the only person they had done this too. I found the attendant who falsely sold me it and said to him you explained this wrong at which point he said he never said that it would be returned and that I signed the contract. Absolute weasel of a bloke, lieing to my face. AVOID AT ALL COSTS
Faz algum sentido a empresa não garantir um assento de bebê, mesmo constando na reserva? Relata que mesmo na reserva é mediante disponibilidade e não podem garantir Do que adianta fazer uma reserva se tenho que contar com a sorte? Então não é uma reserva.. Ainda mas que é algo obrigatório, e não posso correr o risco de chegar no aeroporto e não ter disponível. Não faz sentido nenhum Falta de gestão básica....
Não tive uma boa experiência, acabei abastecendo o carro errado ,não tirei do posto mas mesmo assim a empresa cobrou uma manutenção exorbitante...
Hired a car for 12 days, got an almost new one. Sound service. Declined additional insurance, but have cover as part of our travel package. Pickup took a bit of time, returning the car was swift and easy.
Cars are Ok but they sell insurances . We had one already but if you dont buy they block 2500 usd ! From credit card . Otherwise you can pay usd 200 and they will only block usd 400 . Never seen .

Si vous rapportez la voiture avant 8h, il vous charge 33Euro. Pour 30 min ont à décidé d attendre. Ils ne veulent pas que nous stationnons leur véhicule sur leur propriété, il a fallu stationner dans la rue en attendant. J ai jamais vu ça en Amérique!!! There s a reason they have terrible reviews. Save your money and go elsewhere. Paid insurance that was 3x the price of the vehicle also putting down a 2000 euro deposit. Car had engine alarms before entering. The clutch gave out on the highway, on the phone they assured me they would replace the vehicle free of charge. I thought this was quite reasonable until I got back to the office where they tried to charge me a further 2000 euro deposit for the remaining week. I of course said no I didn t want to fork out 4000 euros on top of what I was already paying. I had to cancel and went with an alternative company. Where the rates where cheaper insurance was cheaper and the deposit was cheaper. I went through booking.com originally with these guys thinking they where a legit company, will always read the reviews from now on. I d rather walk, swim even ride horseback than use these guys again.

No ato da contratação de um aluguel de carro que duraria 19 dias me foi cobrado o valor de R$ 3.600,00 como garantia , sendo que foi informado que seria apenas um bloqueio , sendo que o tal valor foi descontado da fatura e até a presente data ( 17 dias após o término do contrato ) o valor não foi devolvido .

Our car had an accident and we paid for it, but drive on holidays refuses to provide us with a description of the damages so we can t use our insurance. They claim to have delivered the documents when they haven t. Infuriating. Also, check in took an hour because their computer rebooted all the time.

Old reviews probably posted about old franchise. Everything was fine, no cheats, fines and hidden commissions. Guarantee deposits was resolved in couple of minutes after car returned. Recommended!

NE LOUEZ SURTOUT PAS AVEC CETTE ENTREPRISE!!!! Le personnel a l accueil est très désagréable (nous avons traité avec Thiago Marqués) Il y a des frais cachés de partout (jeune conducteur, heure précise pour rendre la voiture, carte de péage ) alors que nous avions payé la réservation à l avance avec l assurance. Au final cela revient presque 2 fois plus cher que de louer avec un loueur classique (Avis ; Hertz ; Europcar ) De plus ils ne prennent pas l emprunte de la carte mais prélèvent 2250 qu ils rendent presque une semaine après avoir rendu la voiture. Ou alors il est possible de payer 400 de deposit mais il faut payer en plus de sa réservation 250 / jour en plus du prix de la réservation initial. Enfin bref de vrais voleurs
Pick up of the car was very slow, it took more than an hour! The car indicated low tire pressure after one day, which you would not expect, but other than that the car was fine. No issues to return the car.
