Do Not Rent from this company. First of all, they are not at the airport when you are needing a ride. Then they do not answer the phone when you arrive at the airport. At the counter, they said that our insurance policy I purchased from Discover Cars was not good and I needed to purchase from them or I would have problems if a police officer pulled over or got into an accident. My rental should have been $353.19. after they charged me for their insurance, the price was $885.94 (659.89€ before taxes and conv fees). Then they said we would get $150 back when we turned in the car that was full of gas. When we returned the car, they said it would be given to us later. It never was and I have sent numerous emails to Green Motion and they said no such thing. So they over charge and lie about refunds. save your self money and go somewhere else

Rented a small automatic transmission car for 12 days. Check out process took 30 minutes. Car has a wide scratch 10+ cm on driver side which I could not see inside the garage but clearly visible in the sun. However, they did documented it in the check-out document which was as emailed to me. The car return process was fast because there was no one ahead of us. My experience with Green Motion was okay. But I would have appreciated them if they pointed out to me the damages (there were many) on the car before I signed out the car rather than me finding and looking for them. Better still, repair the car before renting the car to customers. Car rental place was clean although a little out of the way. I BOLT there from hotel in Chiado. My only peeve is their in-house insurance price which is ten times more expensive than the one I got elsewhere. If they offered maybe more competitive prices like 2-3 times elsewhere, I would have gone with Green Motion insurance. Overall, there are professional and according to my wife, honest.

To pick up the car takes a bit long, about 15 minutes per person, I waited for 45 minutes despite there's 2 staffs to help the 3 renters in front of me, the renters have too much small talk. Overall it was very straightforward, I believe they tried to be quick, the staffs didn't try to keep me there longer than needed to sell me anything. Returned the car went very smoothly, I was on hurry to catch the flight, didn't have the time to find the gas station, this time I was helped by Rodrigue, he took care of the return process very quickly for us, and waived the gas for us, and a shuttle was there for us just in time, deposit was fully returned in about 5 days.

Avoid leaving your card details. Although the man I met when I received the car was nice and explained everything to which I followed, they still manage to do something illegal months later. Not only did I pay for insurance when the car was booked on booking.com, I was told the insurance paid didn’t count when I arrived at the location so I had to pay again. I paid for toll after the car was returned just for them to charge my card 3 months later without permission over a toll price. I passed through V mark which picks up the number of times your car passes (As advised) so not sure why an automatic service took an additional 3 months to see full charges. And there’s no way to verify if it’s true. I was never told my card would be stored so it’s simply fraudulent to charge without consent. No where you will make payment of service and the company will store your card to charge you later without your consent. Untrustworthy and disappointing. Best you bring cash

So far so good. Shuttle to the car pick up was pretty quick, car is in pretty good condition. Three or four small scuffs on it but you have to look closely. Staff were friendly and quick Just returned the car with no hassles at all. No extra charges. Fuel is like for like so no need to find a petrol station near the drop off. Shuttle to the airport came immediately.

After a terrible experience at Ok Mobility next door, we had an amazing experience at Green Motion! Great customer service from Bernardo, super friendly and helpful at answering any questions! We were able to get a last minute car on a Saturday, including full coverage which covered tolls, for 2 days at around 110 euros which we thought was a great price! The car was practically new, very clean, ran perfectly, and we didn’t have to worry about any accidental scratches or documenting everything since we had full coverage! Just reminder you need your passport, license, and a visa credit card to book (we almost forgot our visa at home, glad we remembered it!) Will definitely rent from then again!

I think if you document any damage carefully, don't damage the car at all, pay some fees for extras like the automatic tolls (which added up to about 70 Euros over a month for us), then you will probably have a decent experience. Read on for more details. Be sure to check the car carefully and take lots of pictures. Make sure they mark down any tiny dents or scratches. Do this also upon return, so you have proof of the condition when you returned it. So far I have not had the issues others have mentioned with minor scratch charges, though (by luck) there were no extra scratches or dents after using the car for about a month that they could charge me for. Read the instructions they give about the shuttle carefully, and maybe ask someone who looks like they are coordinating shuttle companies or have a clipboard at the airport pickup location, as it is not obvious who to speak to about the shuttle. Definitely leave lots of time for the shuttle to and from their facility, I had to ask them to take us to the airport, when they were just standing around talking after waiting a while. I highly recommend you pay for the automated toll device. There are some toll spots that have no way to pay otherwise. You will probably still have to pay some tolls directly, particularly if you leave Portugal. Also, if you are going to go out of the country, be sure you tell them that and be ready for the fee for it. The office staff I dealt with (particularly Bernardo?) were professional. However, do not count on being able to call them later and have them answer. I got lucky once when I called, and later when I tried to call again about extending, they never picked up. Email them instead, the response was fast and professional then. I did not like the fact that they put a sticker on the window with their company name, as that screamed this is a rental car. However, we were fortunate that no one tried to break into it, and we did our best to keep things out of sight. If you do not have a credit card that covers extra insurance, you may want to consider getting some sort of insurance from them or somebody else. We are trusting that the 1500 Euro deposit has been returned by now, though we cannot tell either way on our credit card. There was no indication or proof that it would be returned when I returned the car other than the verbal indication they gave me. We got a great deal by renting through Ryanair. The car was a very new Fiat hybrid. It was absolutely gutless on hills, did not get quite as good a gas mileage as we expected, and I think that is more on Fiat than the rental company. The gas gauge very quickly went off full, and that could have been the prior renter making it barely look full.

Avoid This Rental Company! We rented a car from Green Motion at Lisbon Airport. Shortly after driving a few kilometers, the dashboard displayed a low tire pressure warning, indicating a potential leak. Concerned, we returned to the rental office to request a replacement vehicle. After a long wait, the staff dismissed the issue, claiming it was simply low tire pressure, and refused to provide a replacement. Unfortunately, their assessment was incorrect. The next day, the low tire pressure warning reappeared, causing significant disruptions: 1. We had to find gas stations with air pumps to refill the tire. 2. We spent valuable time searching for Green Motion locations along our route. 3. We had to coordinate with Greenville Motion office at the Lisbon Airport to arrange for a replacement vehicle. After much back-and-forth, Green Motion eventually agreed to let us exchange the car in Faro, near the Spanish border. However, when we arrived in Faro, the staff insisted on inspecting the original vehicle before allowing a replacement. They then tried to upsell us on more expensive car models, further delaying the process. Frustrated by the inefficiency, we explained that in the United States, car rental companies would immediately provide a replacement without unnecessary complications. Their dismissive response was, This is Europe, Portugal, not your United States. At this point, the situation became unbearable, leading to a heated argument. The staff escalated matters by threatening to call the police and detain us, which was both absurd and unacceptable. This entire ordeal caused significant delays and inconveniences, severely impacting our trip.

Même si à l arrivée à la location de notre voiture tout a été impeccable, on a du à notre retour réaliser que ça n allait pas se terminer aussi impeccable. À l arrivée ils nous ont « proposé/imposé » de faire une vidéo de la voiture « ça serait plus facile après » alors que j étais entrain de faire des photos des dégats. À l arrivée et après inspection double!! du Mr. ils ont comme par hasard retrouvé une bosse sur le pare-choc en dessous/ à l arrière de la voiture qui en la contournant normalement n était pas visible, il fallait se baisser. Sur la vidéo ceci n est pas visible car, pour mon hasard, je ne me suis pas baissée pour la vidéo. Après un séjour on a donc du laisser 450 , même s ils n ont pas pu prouver que c était nous les auteurs du dégat. Je vous laisse les photos afin de vous aider, si vous aurrez la même voiture.. et faites vous la faveur même si cela prend plus de temps, faites des photos!!!

Hyrde med helförsäkring via deras hemsida. Fick då med bizz till tullen och en barnstol. Upphämtningen tog ca 40 minuter många före i kön och bilen var inte nytvättad. Unga killar som vid hämtning var smidiga. Men tjatade på alla före i kö att ta helförsäkring. Vi förbeställde denna. Vi återlämning påtalades endast ett problem och det var att bilen inte var ren. Vi skulle betala rengöring. Jag blev ganska snabbt irriterad och sa att vi inte fick den nystädat heller. Behövde inte betala men får känsla av att man försöker få ut mer pengar. Återlämning inklusive transfer till flygplats gick på 25 min.

12 days after rental I still haven t been refunded 2550 that they took for a deposit . I don t remember giving Green Motion a loan. It was also extremely painful to rent a car from them and I was being forced to pay THE SECOND insurance on top of the FULL insurance I paid when booking. Just to give you an idea, my whole rental with full insurance when booked via Uber was 67 . Green motion wanted to charge me an extra 120 in insurance alone on top of the 67 that already included the full insurance. And on top of that they charged me 2550 deposit that I m still waiting to be refunded two weeks later. This is unacceptable and seems like a scam.

I hired a car and insurance for 5days at Lisbon airport and drop-off at Porto airport through booking.com. Tricky part is I had to find someone with company board (greenmotion) outside at Lisbon airport because they dont have check-in counter in the airport rental car place and waited more than 20min to get shuttle bus because of traffic. At the Porto airport, they checked toll I used and paid there. I had no extra charge other than toll and deposit returned very quickly. All stuff are friendly and well explained (according to them, basically no charge for less than 2cm scratch). Very clean and functional and also very reasonable. Thank you, Green Motion stuff!

Le temps d attente pour récupérer le véhicule est très long, tout comme celui pour monter dans la navette à l aéroport. J ai attendu la navette pendant plus d une demi-heure, et le trajet jusqu à l agence est également assez long. Ils ont failli ne pas me louer le véhicule sous prétexte que ma carte bancaire n était valide que jusqu à mi-octobre 2024, alors que j ai procédé à la location le 17 août. Selon eux, il fallait plus de trois mois de validité pour pouvoir louer le véhicule. D où sortait ce règlement ? Cela n avait jamais été évoqué. De longues négociations m ont miraculeusement permis de louer cette voiture. Un stress inutile. J ai failli me retrouver sans véhicule, avec ma famille autour de moi. Par la suite, pendant la location, j avais besoin d organiser le retour du véhicule en dehors des horaires de l agence. J ai donc appelé pendant six jours consécutifs, à raison de cinq à six appels par jour, le numéro de téléphone qui m avait été donné comme étant celui de l agence. Celui-ci aboutissait toujours sur un répondeur, et personne ne répondait jamais. J ai dû me rendre physiquement avec le véhicule en banlieue de Lisbonne pour convenir des horaires de retour. Il fallait payer 50 pour déposer le véhicule en dehors des horaires, même si l on n avait pas besoin de leurs services à ce moment-là. C est une pure escroquerie, et je n ai pas accepté. Toutes les agences de location disposent de boîtes sécurisées pour déposer les clés. De plus, la vérification de l état du véhicule est proprement stupéfiante. Les rayures mentionnées dans le rapport d état des lieux peuvent faire à peine un ou deux millimètres. Résultat : on utilise la voiture pendant toute la durée de la location en étant extrêmement stressé, car on comprend vite que le moindre accroc ou la moindre rayure fera l objet d une facturation. Je ne recommande pas cette agence. Le prix est attractif, mais ils sont beaucoup trop pointilleux, lents, procéduriers et nonchalants avec les clients.

Venho por este meio reclamar uma experiência aterradora que esta empresa em conjunto com a carjet me proporcionaram. Aluguei um carro para 15 dias de férias, em Abril, para o mês de Agosto. Após efetuar o pagamento e ter tudo tratado acontece que o meu voo atrasou e quando cheguei ao destino a hora de recolha (que nunca foi mencionado que tinha de ser exacta) já tinha passado, pelo que, estas duas empresas acima citadas decidiram por bem proceder ao cancelamento da minha reserva sem que houvesse qualquer tipo de retorno/solução para o dinheiro já pago. Ainda mencionaram que quem tem de fazer a devolução deste valor é a companhia aerea. Tratamento abaixo de mau, sem soluções e zero empatia para com o cliente. Basicamente decidem ficar com o dinheiro das pessoas e não há justificações, não existe um contacto com o cliente e chegam ao ponto de mandar um email a pedir uma avaliação de como foi a minha experiência com um aluguer que foi cancelado pelos próprios e do qual eu não usufrui. Profissionalismo e seriedade nulas.

I contacted the agency and got a cheap explanation that it could take 3-4 weeks and that I should contact my bank if I dont receive the money. Nous avons réservé une auto sur le site de discover au mois de septembre 2024,notre avion est arrivé a lisbonne a 19h, nous sommes sortis vers 19h45 au point de rencontre ou les navettes attendent leurs clients, 20h15 toujours personnes de greenmotion et personnes nous appel ,nous les appelons, rien personnes ne répond, et bien ils sont fermés, oui cette agence ferme a 20h et laisse ces clients a l abandons, résultat nous avons pris un taxi pour nous amener a 110kms a notre maison, la note du taxi fut salé,et bis repetita le lendemain pour retourner reprendre une voiture. Résultat ne pas prendre des agences qui n assument pas leurs clients après 20h.

We booked to hire a car with green motion through a broker (as many people do) and because of this, experienced issues with our booking because there were things that the broker had not been clear about (small print). Despite this, Miguel was really helpful and friendly and helped us to resolve the issues, even giving us recommendations for things to do in Lisbon. I recommend booking direct to make sure the insurance you think you re getting covers you for everything and you are not left with any surprises when you arrive!! Nous sommes arrivés chez Green Motion et au moment de récupérer la voiture une catastrophe un temps d attente monstrueux. 3 personnes et seulement une s occupait des clients. il voulait 500 euros supplémentaires d assurance alors que tout était payé afin de nous restituer la voiture !! du vol !! Pour couronner le tout on a dû attendre dehors en pleine nuit que le Uber arrive car il voulait fermer l agence en sachant que l endroit est hyper caché. Nous avons dû contacter booking pour une nouvelle location de voiture car Green Motion ne voulait rien entendre malgré l échange avec la personne de booking

Noleggio ottimo, uffici puliti e operatori preparati. Ci è stata consegnata la macchina prevista e in ottimo stato internamente mentre di carrozzeria era un po conciata. Freni funzionanti ma consumati in modo anomalo, motore perfetto! Lunica pecca è stata la revisione dei danni al momento del ritiro del mezzo con loperatore che non ha inserito tutti i danni e al momento della riconsegna, loperatrice ha ravvisato suddetti danni non indicati e ci ha chiesto spiegazioni. Prontamente avevo fatto io tutte le foto al ritiro e le ho spiegato tutto. Consiglio ovviamente di controllare meticolosamente il veicolo al momento del ritiro per evitare spiacevoli inconvenienti. Noleggio comunque molto consigliato!

Location voiture aéroport Lisbonne Portugal. A la sortie de l aéroport nous devions attendre sur le trotoire mais il n y avais pas d indication et nous ne savions pas où attendre. Après 30min une navette blanche avec un petit écusson au pare-brise est arrivée. Arrivé au bureaux de location, un très bonne accueil et un service très bien. La voiture ne Fiat très propre, le petit souci la suspension de la voiture pas très confortable. Mise à part sa rien à redire. Le retour c est très bien passé Petit bémol quand il ma dit qu il fallait 10 jours pour récupérer la causions. Mais bon pas de choix. Le tarif est correct Je le recommande

Be very aware for this company. The people seemed friendly, but there were many damages overlooked during pick-up. Some really serious. So really film and photograph everything. The worst came afterwards: 1.5 month after returning my car my cc was charged. No communication, nothing. After I filed a complaint they claimed it was for toll, but after returning, I already paid for this. Check your cc bill regularly, cause there might be a MC Mobility Porto there weeks or months later.

AVOID ! I had the displeasure of using Green Motion in Portugal. I was relocating with two small kids and several large bags. Issues (Yes there is a list). 1. I followed the instructions as its an offsite car rental place. There was nobody representing the company on the day, I called the number with no answer... after waiting 30 minutes and asking around a small van appeared. Then a guy aggressively said you need to speak to the rep this van is full ! What rep, where !!! The rep appeared and said wait for 20 mins for another van. Frustrating with two small, tired kids ! 2. I purchased the car rental with my AMEX using cartrawler/skyscanner. Never had an issue before. Upon arrival turns out this company doesnt accept AMEX. I had a VISA mastercard, debit, amex.. the lady refused ! said you will need to find another car rental. (I have two small children, seven large bags...I explained this isnt possible.. i need some help and also happy to pay a deposit. She said there is a way but I would have to pay 30 A DAY so over 800 euros to rent the car. (it cost me 300 for whole booking...). So there is a way I can take it without a credit card... I refused to leave and I think we were the last customers and she wanted to go home so after 30 minutes of a stand off and me refusing to leave she agreed to take a hold on my debit card... (without paying 800!!!!!) Insanity and fraud and I would feel sorry if there was an elderly or vulnerable person in that situation. 3. Upon drop off i thought was have they got in store for me now. (I was kind of joking) but no... they wanted to charge me 50 to clean the car.... the car was clean, it did have some traces of sand on the foot rugs but it nothing more than a hoover and it would be fine) I have never been charged extra for cleaning with other car rentals.... I simply refused. This was borderline fraud. Yes they are cheap but they will try and sting you with extra charges. Book with a reputable firm.

Run away from them, it s not a serious company at all. First, the car they gave me had a lot of damage to the body. I ve been renting cars for a long time, and I ve never seen a car being rented in this condition before. Second, they gave me the car without checking it, and I had to add AdBlue in the middle of the road. I called them several times, and they guided me on what to do. The light on the dashboard wouldn t stop blinking, so I called them again, and they told me to keep driving because it would stop. End of the story: the car died. They told me I didn t add enough AdBlue (even though they told me just to keep driving!!). I ended up without the car on the last day, and they didn t refund me for the last day without the car because they claimed it was my fault. As I said before, run away because it s not a serious company!!!

I had a great experience with green motion. We rented through booking with bookings insurance. Got a wonderful car, same as we ordered (Peugeot 5008). Its condition was great, it was clean and no troubles. The giy at the service counter was friendly and explained everything, so was they guy that gave us the car and instruct how to use. At the return they checked for damages in a reasonable way, and the process wasy very quick and smoth. I hope theyll keep that high level of service.

Arrived and car was not ready for 30 mins after arriving, had a flight which was departing at 9:30AM so needed to drop off earlier, was advised that they have a drop off next door and a shuttle would be there to take us to the airport. They didn t tell us where to drop off and had to go around for ages trying to figure out where to take the car which in the end was at the back of their warehouse. A bit more communication on this would ve saved some stress and time. Also no shuttle so had to book a taxi. Car worked fine.

They did not show up and I dont have my money back. The application allowed me to rent the car at 20:00. I never received any notification, nor anywhere in the reservation email, that at 20:00 the office would close and the shuttle no longer runs. I thought as any rent-a-car at the airport that they work 24/7, at least that has been my experience. No-show was marked as 2.5h from the booked time. There is no marks anywhere of where the meeting point is, so I arrived at the airport at 20:40 and was looking for them... little did I know that they were not there already from 20:00, as others told me. Other rent-a-car workers told that this happens often. They never bothered contacting me although they had my number. I had to pay for another rent-a-car with an urgent premium which cost me 2x a normal rent-a-car price. They act in bad faith allowing you to book a car at closing time knowing it will cause you problems. I could have just booked with another company. After 2 weeks they still didnt handle my complaint. After 3 calls with customer support, always the same that theyll add a note and escalate to a superior that can help, but nothing so far. Not a call from them. I waited for them to do the right thing before writing this review - I think I gave enough time. With this behavior they lost a returning customer and I know this is not a company to be trusted.

Je déconseille fortement!!! Des grands voleurs. Ils m ont facturés 140 pour une micro rayure sur un enjoliveur, qui coûte 20 . Ils savent très bien quand les clients prennent des assurances complémentaires et ils en profitent le personnel est malhonnête et désagréable en menaçant que si je ne paye pas la somme demandée je serais prélevé de lacompte de 1500 . Je finis mon formidable séjour sur une mauvaise note de cette entreprise Green Motion. Ils font croire que la société est situé à l aéroport alors que c est à 20mn en voiture. Attention pour les détenteurs de CB française ! Green Motion nest pas capable, ou pire ne veut pas gérer les dépôts de garantie avec les CB françaises, nous avons été obligés de payer lassurance supplémentaire de près de 300 (plus chère que la location de la voiture) alors que nous avions déjà payé une assurance à travers lagence de voyage (easyjet).

When returning the vehicle, we showed an advanced service by emailing a document confirming the on-site inspection for any abnormalities (return was at Porto Airport). There was no action such as asking for insurance premiums for price rip-offs or damage to the vehicle, which I was very worried about while reading the reviews. There was a lot of concern when picking up and returning the car because the exterior of the car was very damaged. When picking up the vehicle, you will need to prepare thoroughly, including photos and videos.

Bonjour j ai loué une voiture chez eut il mette Green Motion aéroport mais ces a 5 km de l aéroport j ai du y allez en taxi ces écrit nul part il y avait des navette mais ces écrit nul part. Ensuite il m ont vendu une assurance plus chers que le prix du véhicule j ai pa compris. Je croyait que je paye la location avec l assurance mais enfet c était que l assurance et pour finir à la restitution il m ont mit une amende de 50 pasque j ai fumé dans le véhicule sachant qu il m avait rien dit avant et que j ai fait un nettoyage intérieur extérieur du véhicule vraiment insatisfait.

Péssima experiência, fiz uma reserva para de manhã, após chegar pra levantar carro horas após o período reservado a mesma informa que a reserva foi cancelada por no show , sem ao mesmo comunicar previamente ou ligar confirmando a reserva , a única solução fornecida era alugar um carro com 10 x de maior valor , já embutindo seguros e extras para beneficiar a locadora e o agente, assim inviabilizando a locação como forma de segunda segunda opção, a empresa faltou com respeito e não teve mínimo profissionalismo empurrando assim a culpa para a empresa intermediária da locação. Cuidado não façam reserva nessa empresa e/ou caso façam preparem se para uma péssima e longa experiência. (atendimento lento, moroso)

Unprofessional tiny sign at the airport for the shuttle bus. Fortunately, a lady who works for other company noticed that we were looking for something and helped then we finally met a guy with the Green motion sign. We patiently waited for the Shuttle bus and sadly breathed the heavy exhaust fumes for almost half a hour. Staffs were quite a few at the pick up counter, can t imagine what would be like in summer busy season. We unreasonably had to wait coz only 1 staff was available at the counter, oh dear. Shuttle bus still a problem until the end. We returned the car and were told to wait for the shuttle. We were there waiting with on one for half a hour, finally bus came but the group of people who just finished returning their rental car and reached the shuttle first took the available seat in shuttle instead of us. We were furious and insist to go. Pls manage shuttle bus queue to avoid the uncomfortable among your customers. Besides what I mentioned above, the car itself was in a very excellent condition. It was only 4,000 km. Mileage. Staff who took care of us were attentive and helpful.

Réservation réalisée via Discoverscars pour 100 la semaine pour une Fiat Panda à Lisbonne. Lorsque nous sommes arrivés, la préposée nous a proposé un prix de 500 , puis elle nous a dit que cétait une erreur. Ensuite, cest devenu 300 pour finalement être de 200 . Nous avons demandé à nous en tenir au contrat de Discoverscars pour lequel nous avions un solde à payer de 33 , comme prévu dans le contrat. Le véhicule comportait de nombreux petits dommages. Il nous a été dit que tous étaient repris sur linventaire et que nous pouvions faire toutes les photos que nous souhaitions. A notre retour, ils ont invoqués des griffes à peine apparentes sur une jante arrière qui nétaient pas signalées dans les dégâts. Nous sommes certains de ne pas avoir accroché cette jante. De plus, la jante avant du même côté avait de gros dégâts qui, eux, avaient été signalés. Ils nont rien voulu entendre et nous ont réclamé 36,97 à payer immédiatement, ce que nous avons fait pour être débarrassés de ces individus. Nous répétons quil faut éviter cette compagnie GREEN MOTION.

Dont go there, they are CROOKS. I wish if I have read the reviews here before dealing with those scammers. I have faced the same scenarios mentioned many times in the reviews. - Dishonest with no integrity: During the initial inspection the guy keep saying its perfect, its okay, its new, there is no scratch on it and gave me a blank report that doesnt show any issues in the car. Yet, I showed him many scratches but he refused to added it to the report. I made a video with my mobile, but while Im returning the vehicle, they charged me for EUR 130 for a minor scratch in the wheel rim, less than 1mm by 2cm on the very edge while it is very difficult to be noticed, especially that the rim is full of scratches and the price for it new is EUR 280. -Not customers friendly: Then the documents they gave to me during the handover stated that the fuel type is diesel, when I went to the gas station, I felt that there is something wrong because the car engine doesnt sound like a diesel engine, I kept trying to call them for almost 20 minute, to get their confirmation on the fuel type, then when I returned the car, the lady, not a lady, a woman there start raising her voice warning me that it would be a problem if I had added diesel instead of gasoline, I told the her that the documents saying diesel, she said that I told you it is gasoline, I said no you didnt, she insisted that she told me, while it wasnt her, this lair woman, who handed over the car to me. -Unprofessional: I asked to speak to the manager, he wasnt there, they called him by phone and made a call full of ridicules laughs while telling him about the situation, they took me to another guy who is not the manager, he was a very nice guy but useless. Also during receiving the car, a woman there, said we dont know you, we dont know the company that booked you this car and forced me to leave a huge deposit, or else, they will charge me 4 times the agreed price. To receive the car it took more than an hour. To refund the deposit, they lied about releasing the amount and it took so long for the money to hit my account. -Crooks: UPDATE: Just to show you that they are really crooks, yesterday I contacted them asking about the deposit refund and the woman said that it wasnt done as her colleague advised a day before and asked to share the credit card details, I told her that you have it already, she insisted, I gave her the number and the expiry date, then she asked for the credit card security code, of course I refused, she said ok, I asked why you asked for it if it is ok and you can proceed with the refund without it, she said sorry :)

The car Ive got was less expensive than I ordered, lacking some features I was relying to get. Ive double checked that when picking up the car, but they said it is fine. When returning the car I asked again, and they explained: apparently global Green Motion site has categories split differently than this local branch. So they can merge a few categories and give you the car from cheaper category. And thats how Ive got car of similar size, but with less safety features and comfort. Overall experience was ok, although they overcharged most likely about 3 times more than market value for the scratch Ive got on a car. During checkin Ive noticed a few scratches which were not accounted for, but they added them with no problem. Still, I wonder what if I didnt notice them.

Make sure you check your hire car thoroughly when you receive it. I didnt and found a scuff on the bumper, I managed to fix it before taking it back. However when they checked the car over they just skimmed the rest of the car and hovered around where the scuff on the bumper was. As if they knew about it. Avoid, read the other reviews, they want to take money from your deposit.

Evitem essa empresa para poupar dor de cabeça. Eles te entregam o carro cheio de danos e dizem que já está identificado no sistema e no contrato e no ato da entrega do carro querem cobrar. Hier lieber kein Auto buchen. Die Jungs dort wollen den Mietern einen Schaden anhängen, für den sie nicht verantwortlich sind. Mit dieser Masche verdienen sie offensichtlich ihr Geld. Bei Rückgabe unseres Autos war ein large damage zu sehen, der vorher angeblich nicht vorhanden war. Unser Leihwagen hatte einige alten Kratzer, Macken und Dellen, so dass der angeblich neue Kratzer gar nicht auffiel. Insgesamt machten die Jungs einen sehr unprofesionellen Eindruck und stehen eher für eine Betrügerbande als für eine Autovermietung.

Professional, efficient and friendly. What I especially liked: they offered me a transponder for the road toll. It was not only practical to drive thru the green lanes, but absolutely necessary for those stretches of highway where they just scan the licence plate. Mietwagen über Check24 gebucht, bei der Abholung hat zuerst alles gut funktioniert, jedoch wurde nicht auf bereits kleine Schäden an Felge & Plastik hingewiesen, was bei der Rückgabe zu Problemen führte. Es wurde probiert uns 3 Schäden anzuhängen (2x Felge, 1x Plastik), zwei davon konnten wir Gott sei dank mit Fotos von uns weisen, für einen mussten wir jedoch selbst aufkommen, obwohl er nicht durch uns entstanden ist. Also unbedingt: BILDER AUS ALLEN WINKELN bei Abholung, nicht für etwas bezahlen, woran man keine Schuld trägt, wie schon vorher beschrieben ist das hier wirklich viel geldmacherei und abzocke. Rental office is not in airport, we got scammed for 60 on the ride over by fake cab company. Company should advertise their shuttle service better. Take good pictures of the car before hand, upon returning car, employee saw small scuff on tire and charged us almost 100 . There were scratches on all the rims except that one, prior to renting car, according to them. Car was full of scratches before leaving. Would not recommend. Find more internationally reputable company.

Rented twice. First car was 3000km overdue for an oil change. Second car was different to the class and model booked and on the contract. Like others, we were charged for an imperceptible scratch on return, in which they took great pleasure. More than one-hour stated wait for shuttle to airport, which then never arrived leaving us stranded. In short, avoid at all costs.

Pior experiência que já tive!!! Eu reservei um carro elétrico e na retirada a loja não tinha um carro da categoria e me entregaram um carro híbrido, à gasolina. Me cobraram um valor absurdo de caução (2400 euros). E por fim, o carro teve o vidro quebrado numa tentativa de furto e a central de atendimento não estava disponível. Liguei inúmeras vezes e ninguém me atendeu. Além de cobrarem valores abusivos na entrega do carro, recebi um carro de outra categoria e nenhum atendente estava disponível quando precisei de suporte por telefone. Ao chegar na loja eu fui bem atendida e pude trocar de carro, mas novamente um carro que não correspondia a categoria da locação. A parte positiva foi o atendimento na loja, onde me ajudaram a resolver o problema. Mas fique atento à categoria e às condições de locação.

Highlights of our experience include little to no communication, inconvenient pick up, and complete disregard for people time. Id give zero stars if I could. My advice to anyone renting from out of country is to stick to a company that has a deal at the airport and keeps reasonable business hours. We booked online for a trip to Portugal. The instructions were for us to take a shuttle or Uber to Green Motions office near the airport after arrival. When my husband noted that their office hours have them closing at 8PM, he realized we wouldnt be able to get there from the airport as our flight was scheduled to arrive at 7:15 - even with no delays, there would be no way to get through customs and take the shuttle to get there on time. He communicated this concern to Green Motion who told us that theyd keep the office open, but that this would involve a 50 charge. That seems steep, especially considering the fact that 8PM is a pretty early time to close a business that caters to travellers arriving on international flights at all hours of the day. Green motion asked us to keep in contact with them to make sure they knew when our arrival time was and could keep the offices open accordingly. We emailed them twice during our stopover in London (between 3PM and 4PM Lisbon time) and got absolutely no response before our flight took off around 5:30PM. There was no response when we landed around 7:30PM. We collected our stuff as fast as possible and booked it to the exit of the terminal. My husband tried calling both numbers (right at 8PM) on the confirmation emails from the individual with whom he was dealing and got no answer - it just said that they were having high call volume and said to contact via the website. He emailed the original contact again - at that time we got a email said that the offices were now closed and asked us to pick up the next morning. Now we are at an airport in a country with which we are unfamiliar with nobody to call and nobody to email and no car. We had to immediately start scrambling to figure out what we were going to do - wed been travelling for over 16 hours, hadnt slept in over 24 hours, our kids were exhausted, and we had to get to our accommodations 30 minutes away, we had a full day of sightseeing the next day, and were leaving an a road trip in 36 hours - we NEEDED a vehicle! We ended up booking another car with another company at the airport - they only had SUVs available and the price increase is substantial (the cost for the same rental period would have been about double). We were exhausted and didnt have the time or energy to research all our rental options at that time to find the best priced one, so figured getting it for one night would allow us to get to our place and get some sleep and we would have the next 24 hours to figure out an alternate plan for the car. As we were on the highway out of Lisbon, we get a call - its the guy from the Green Motion desk wondering where we are! This was ONE FULL HOUR after our frantic emails and attempts to call after we arrived. At this point we have paid out 92 for a one day rental on a different car. To go pick up the Green Motion car would mean driving all the way back to the airport, returning the car, taking an Uber to Green Motion, and then picking up the car AND wed have to pay a 50 for late pickup. We told the caller what happened and that it was too late now (he was very polite despite the fact that it wasnt an easy call) that we would pick up the next day. My husband had to wake up first thing in the morning, drive 40 minutes through morning traffic, return the vehicle to the other rental, sit around and wait for the shuttle, travel to Green Motion, and then pick up the vehicle. They took off a day of the rental and waived a fee, but we still ended up spending extra out of pocket and the whole process took almost four hours of time to resolve and significantly impacted our ability to enjoy the one day we had to explore this area.

They were nice when we picked up the car but then charged us a large sum for a knick on the rim. Then someone stole our credit card number and used it at a hardware store for almost $1000. This is the only place we used this card on our trip. Now we are dealing with fraudulent charges and a canceled card while on vacation. Do not use this company.

Heel lang wachten aan de luchthaven op de transfer. Ter plaatse lijkt alles ok. Bij terugkeer blijkt minimalistische schade aan een wieldop te zijn, geen enkel voorval tijdens onze reis gehad. Atendimento muito ruim, fiz reserva pela carjet de um classe de veículos, depois de preencher todos documentos me apresentaram um carro de categoria inferior, ao voltar a recepção tive que ligar para a carjet mesmo no documento constando o modelo superior. Depois de resolvido ao pegar o novo veículo o mesmo apresentou mensagem de falta de óleo no motor, tive que retirar todas bagagens, isso com filha pequena com fome chorando. Péssima experiência.

Hi hired a x7 seater car from Green Motion from Lisbon | Portugal. Really good service very speedy at collection and drop off. The car was of excellent standard and the process from working to paperwork was great. A few tips ..... 1. Take pictures of before and after off all angles of the car including fuel level and mileage. [Policy on fuel is full tank recieve for full tank return]. 2. Be prepared with credit card to pay large deposit [which most hire companies do] ie was 2400 in our case. This is put on hold and if vehicle all ok will be returned back on card once return vehicle. 3. Familiarise yourself with vehicle controls and that driving on right side and vehicle controls are on right side also. 4. Found inadvance check in to brilliant, company will send a link where you upload your ID documents so save time at collection point. 5. Shuttle service to be collected outside arrivals just look for van with Green Motion on [can take 10-15m to arrive]. Less that 10m drive to Green Motion depot to collect car, build 25m extra on departure time for vehicle return paperwork and shuttle back to airport. Drive safe

I booked a car to get from the airport, it could have been clearer that the store is not exactly in the airport but they have a system to pick us up there to finish the renting process and get the car in store, which was around 3 km away. We waited around one hour to have someone to pick us up. In their defense it was probably an unusual day, the weather was awful and the traffic was crazy. Still, it would be good to have this information highlighted during the booking to help us to organize ourselves. Other than this, everything was perfect. The renting process was quick and informative, the team was well prepared to receive us, the price was more than fair, the car was exactly what we chose and it was in mint condition. I would definitely recommend it, and Ill surely use their service again in the future.

Please be aware of additional payments on return car. Little damage to rear bumper e 400 plus v a t 23 % plus e 30 only for driver go to petrol station & you pay the refilling of tank. Car was ok but 54,000 kms is a lot for a rent a car. Look carefully at rental condition. Ask questions to rental staff, some very young & not customer oriented ones.
