The driver was a bit rude, and we asked to drop us at terminal 2, and she said she wasn't allowed ... Really you spend 2 weeks with them car waiting for a pick-up about 1 hour on our arrival and when we ask 2 minutes favor she wasn't allowed... Thank you but was first driver answer us like that ....

Waited for an hour curbside at the airport for our complimentary shuttle. We ended up taking a taxi to their location and was greeted with rudeness. Another couple in their office experienced the same issue. I highly recommend avoiding Drivalia.

Charging €20 extra for toll fee while it was only €0.60. System activation cost €20, what a trick to make extra profits. The only result of doing this kind of business is receiving a 1 star review.

Really bad experience with Drivalia Portugal. I made a reservation for a car in Lisbon paid for by credit card. After a few minutes I received an email telling me that the booking was NOT confirmed. I immediately write to customer service for the reimbursement. The next morning, seeing as the trip was close, I booked with another company. After a few hours, without further explanation, I received a confirmation from Drivalia. Since I had already booked with another company, I ask for the reservation to be cancelled. Drivalia cancels it for me but retains 10% as if it were a standard cancellation and not the consequence of a failed booking confirmation. EXTREMELY INCORRECT behavior. Since then customer care has no longer responded to any emails requesting clarification.

We had great experience using Drivalia Lisbon. We hired a car for 2 weeks which we drove around the whole of Portugal. As long as you take care on where you park and are not reckless, you will be fine (This applies for any and all rental companies). Our deposits were paid back (after a lengthy wait, but that is due to country restrictions) but can happily suggest using them for your rental needs. Thanks to them, the awesome team and of course our Seat "Sergio" which looked after us for the 2 weeks on the road.

I rented the car for 7 days and would do so again! The whole team were complete professionals. When I researched all the companies in Lisbon, this was the only company without reports of fake damage charges when you don't purchase the rental company insurance. They were great. No push to buy theirs. Albeit, I went through the car thoroughly inside and out and under the bumpers. Just book using a credit card ( no debit) and plan ahead during peak times.. We had metro/bus passes so no need for any shuttle. This is the only company to use in Portugal!

I waited more than 2 hours for pick up and give back to car. Always over crowded, not enough staff. Even there is no chair 🤷‍♂️ Car was good but they giving the car on a dark space and you can not see the previous damages, that’s why they can charge you. Be careful.

Do yourself a favor and avoid this car rental company. Lousy customer service, I had to call multiple times to know where I could pick up my car and have been waiting outside the delivery point for 30 minutes after being suggested by the front desk that I go elsewhere to return the car. Fortunately there are many alternatives in Portugal. This one, never again.

Attention sous les air d une entreprise bien cadre, ne pas faire confiance a ce loueur. Bien tout verifie. Certes un prix attractif mais je me suis retrouver a prendre une seconde assuranve sur place sinon deposit de 3500 euros. 85 euros de plus Ensuite sur le check in , ils ont inscrit reservoir a moitie alors qu il y avait un quart. Ils ont rien voulu savoir. Et n oublie pas , leur agence n est pas a l aeroport. Systeme de navette. Ne soyez pas juste dans le temps.

Schlechter Pflegezustand der Fahrzeuge. Bei Abholung fotografierte ein Mitarbeiter mit einem Tablet die Schäden. Warum bei der Abholung? Auf mein Bemerken, dass weitere Schäden vorhanden und nicht dokumentiert sind (für Mietwagen recht altes Fahrzeug mit 40.000 km), wurde es nur widerwillig vermerkt. Eine schriftliche Bestätigung wurde verweigert, angeblich System kaputt. Vom Hof gefahren, Anzeige Batterie schwach sowie Reifendruck prüfen. Wagen nur halbvoll betankt. Das null Wischwasser vorhanden war sowie die Vorderreifen nur ca. 3 mm Profil hatten, passt zur Pflege der Fahrzeuge. Ein Plastiknippel der Hutablage (Centbetrag den zu erneuern) war abgebrochen, sodass die Hutablage immer in den Kofferraum fiel. Betrag für Mautgerät sowie für abgerechnete Mautkilometer verschwanden ohne Quittung in einer Handkasse. Bei Rückgabe gab es natürlich keine schriftliche Bestätigung, das alles ok war. Sie bekommen eine Mail!. Da warte ich heute noch drauf. Insgesamt nicht zu empfehlen.

Ein Stern ist ein Stern zu viel. Shuttle-Service vom Flughafen zur Vermietung hat trotz diverser Anrufe über eine Stunde gedauert. Übergabe des Mietwagens wieder über eine Stunde Wartezeit. Nach knapp einer Woche Mietwagen defekt. Halben Urlaubstag verloren, um einen Ersatzwagen zu bekommen. Bei Rückgabe wurde uns vorgeworfen, den defekten Wagen falsch getankt zu haben, wofür uns über 700 EUR in Rechnung gestellt wurde. Nachweislich haben wir den Wagen während der Mietzeit nicht getankt, interessiert die Vermietung jedoch nicht. Wird jetzt unter Einschaltung des Rechtsweges geklärt werden müssen. Empfehlung: Auf gar keinen Fall bei Drivalia einen Mietwagen buchen, hier wird betrogen und abgezockt!

Ik had een auto online geboekt en betaald. Toen we de auto wilden ophalen, bleek dat hun systeem mijn Cards niet kon verwerken; aldus de medewerker zelf. Beetje vreemd. Maar OK. Dus aangeboden om op een andere manier extra te betalen voor verzekering, borg, cash, bankoverschrijving. Anything. Was allemaal niet mogelijk. Na overleg met zijn manager bleek; U krijgt de auto niet mee! En, de medewerker gaf aan dat ik een refund aanvraag moest indienen. Dan zou ik mijn geld terug krijgen van de autohuur. Uren later heeft een Uber ons naar ons hotel gebracht, zonder huurauto. Het antwoord op het indienen van de refund... Nee u krijgt niets terug. Dus geen auto, geen refund welke wel beloofd was, en hogere uitgaven daar ter plekke.... Drivalia Portugal? Niet aan te raden!

Unless you plan on walking back to the airport from here AVOID. We got back and we re told that the shuttle stopped running for today. Even though we were within shuttle s apparent timeframe and no one ever told us that the shuttle would stop running. Learned the hard way that no Uber or taxi will pick you up here so you are forced to walk all the way to the airport on not safe roads. Absolutely insane. One of the people behind the desk could have hopped in the shuttle van that was parked and drove us. Dropping off the car took an hour plus when we picked it up the shuttle took a half hour to come and then it took an hour to pick up the car too. This place is a mess.

Good value for money. Nice VW T-roc. Oil light came on so we called to advise. Call handler wanted us to return car to Lisbon which we werent able to do. No alternative action was offered. Was checked the oil level which was low. Car was returned to Lisbon so hopefully this matter will be dealt with. Call handler didnt appear to be too interested. We would used thus car hire company again however.

I am not used to publish bad Google s review but Sadorent deserves it. I rented a car for 4 days in Lisbon Portugal. At the check out, Sadorent asked an extra 200 fee because I crossed the border with Spain. The 3 problems are the following: 1. At the check in, the service desk didn t tell me that I was unauthorized to go to Spain. Or at least that my rental was only valid in Portugal. Btw, the 200 fee for « crossing a border » had never been display anywhere. How I was suppose to know? 2. The service desk told me « everything is written in the contract ». The thing is after checking, nothing was written in my contract. Customer service told me « it is because your booking was through a broker ». Hum, you cant hold me responsible for YOUR bad internal processes with your commercial partners. 3. Last but not least, the customer service was just rude - with an « I don t care » mindset and behavior. My analysis: Sadorent does this on purpose to mislead its customers. It must be a quite common situation (going to Spain from Lisbon is a 2h drive!) and therefore an unethical upselling technique. Conclusion: avoid this car rental company. And use trustful alternatives like Europcar or Sixt.

Tudo começou bem com atendimento e veículo. Porém fui cobrado por combustível quando entreguei o carro com tanque cheio (abasteci a minutos do aeroporto). Apesar de ter entregue o carro as 7:20 (meu voo era as 10:00), registraram a entrega as 12:30 e alegaram que o tanque tinha 5/8. Liguei para 4 números e cada pessoa me repassava a outro numero (uma delas claramente irritada comigo dizendo que não havia erro), mandei email e mensagens por whatsapp. Somente após colocar review negativo decidiram pelo reembolso. ----------------------- All started well, great price, good service at first. Car was clean and functioned well. When returning the car, I fully refueled it at 7:09 (right next to the airport) and arrived at 7:20am (my flight was at 10am) at their off-hours parking. The staff was kind, but did not give me any documentation after delivery. The next day I got an email from them with the invoice charging me for gas (5/8 of a tank) and stating that the delivery was at 12:30pm (time in which I was flying). After e-mailing them (no response), calling in (being redirected to 4 different numbers and one employee clearly annoyed who stated that they werent wrong) and sending a whatsapp message, the company finally decided to refund the charge after I posted my review.

so far we used this rental company 2x and both times we had no issues, on the contrary we had really nice experience and mr. Paulo R. was always really helpful and attentive and even waited for us when we were running late. the cars were always nice and clean and ready, all paperwork sorted without issues and desposit returned quickly. usually people write horror stories about their experience but we are happy to come again, especially to this branch in the center of Lisbon.

Avoid this place at all cost, and just go to the airport to rent. First we tried to pick up our car at 12:30, but could not because they close in the middle of the day from 12:30-14:30 (but do not advertise that in any of their communications). After waiting two hours, we attempted to pick up the car again, at which point we were told they would place a $2,000.00 hold on our card! Absolutely insane for ANY car rental place. We ended up just going to the airport and getting a better car.

I dont often write Googles reviews, but I think that when you receive a service as exceptional as the one we recieved at Sado Rent in Lisbon, it is important to share it : Firstly, we had problems with our credit card when we arrived in Lisbon, the large subsidiaries refused us car rental or offered us an exorbitant price. Initially, communication with Sado Rent was done by telephone, with a very attentive and customer-oriented service. A few minutes later we received an honest offer with a good car for the next day. Once arrived on the spot, the explanations were very clear, the check of the car was carried out with a good accompaniment. A few days later, no problem or extra charge to return the car to the airport, even an hour before the shop opened, at 7am, a member of staff was waiting for us and drove us to the airport right in front of the entrance. Once again small problem with our credit card to get the deposit back, but again the customer service was great: email within the day, transfer with proof to my account within two days. On my next trips to Portugal, I will certainly come back to them and I thank them for this exceptional customer-oriented service.

On Sept 12, 2019 I picked up a car at SadoRent in Lisbon through Argus car hire. I paid the full amount plus a hold on the card. At that time I agreed to an additional 1.85 Euro per day for a transponder that would track road tolls automatically and save having to stop and pay at each toll. On Sept 16, 2019 I handed over the car, they confirmed everything was OK checked the transponder and confirmed I had to pay 24.35 eur in tolls On Oct 16 they charged me another 37.85 eur again for tolls. I asked a receipt and was given one for this amount which I think is fake as the original receipt was 24.35 euro in their office. So they charged me double for tolls 24.35 eur in office and 37.85 eur by their free will. Based on that I would be cautions when renting from them.

Do yourself a favour and avoid, unless you like to spend your vacation hanging around a car park, have nothing else to do with your day or are feeling lucky enough to guess the random times someone will actually be staffing this office. Waited 30 minutes to pick up the car and 1 hour to drop it off, with another annoyed couple. No one was in the office, despite it being opening time and us confirming the time we d be arriving. Number listed on the office door did not answer, had to call a different branch to get rescued. Total indifference of the employee who eventually came suggests this is not an isolated incident and Sadorent isn t a company that cares about customer service.

Smooth operators. Hired a ford fiesta diesel that was perfect. You get taken from the airport by shuttle bus to their premises. Staff speak good english and are very professional. Youll need your navigation for giving the car back at their location. ( lisbon ring roads )

WORST EXPERIENCE OF CAR LOCATION EVER! When I returned my car, they tried to charge me extra fees by pretexting tiny scratches impossible to see without a torch. Personnaly a paid 120 euros and the car had nothing more... Apparently the practice is widespread at the agency. Dont go!!!

Ich habe über Check24 ein Auto von Deutschland aus reserviert inkl. aller Kilometer und vollem Versicherungsschutz. Mir wurde noch angeboten für 16,85 das Gerät freizuschalten um alle Straßen nutzen zu können (einige sind Mautpflichtig), was ich zum Glück angenommen habe, da unter anderem die Brücke des 25. April Maut kostet. Die Abwicklung funktionierte einwandfrei, der Service war nett und mein kleines Smart Cabrio war einwandfrei, sauber und bis auf etwas zu wenig Luft im Reifen tadellos. Die anderen, schlechteren Rezensionen kann ich persönlich nicht bestätigen.
