Service folks were extremely polite and pleasant. Definitely the best car rental experience I ever had. The system is fairly easy and the process was quick enough.
Shoutout to Maulo who went above and beyond for me to make sure my car hire went smoothly. I booked through Uber but I missed some of the small print requirements regarding the deposit, but Maulo was super helpful and made sure everything still went smoothly. Great rates, car was perfect and would definitely recommend!
Great check in and great car. Everything is fast and hassle free, except the return of my credit card block for 2100 euro. It has been 4 weeks, and I have sent 2 emails to their operations department, without response. I have rented with them twice, and it's been the same experience, twice. Great customer service at check in, great car, but be prepared to wait for more than 1 month for the block on your credit card to be removed, irrespective of what they say.
Ive generally had a good experiences in renting here. Nice office and the workers are good However, I rented electric car they claimed had 350 km of range. Actual range on smooth, flat highways was under 140 km. Created multiple charging stops and missed appointments. They were refused to address the situation in any way, no discounts. Just This is the nature of electric cars, I would never rent an electric from them again
Absolute scammers! They wanted the excess fee to be deposited without clarification which was 2800 €. When I refused to rent the car they did not return my prebooking payment. Updated: 1 month after they told me to share what happened they haven't replied to my email.
I had a very good experience renting from this location. My car was available when I arrived and the check in process took about 10 minutes. Rui C was really friendly and explained everything well. No pressure or attitude like other car rental places. The office is clean and I felt welcomed. I will be renting from this location again. Just be aware that if you don't buy the additional insurance, they will put a large deposit on your credit card, depending on what kind of car - almost 3000€.
I had a great experience with renting a car in Lisbon from this company. Very kind staff and eager to help with any questions I had (it was the first time for me to drive an electric car). The car I got was almost completely new, super fun to drive. The procedures were fast, uncomplicated, and stress free. Also, amazing price. All good.
One of the best car rental experiences of my life. We rented a VW T-Roc and everything was great. The staff was very friendly and clarified everything about tolls etc. The rental office is new and clean at the center of Lisbon. We did not need to wait long queues and the experience was hassle free. No hidden charges. Definitely recommend it.

This is basically scam. They pressure u into taking their insurance otherwise u have to leave behind a few thousand euros for the time of usage. Plus any insurance booked via apps do not count for them. It costs much more than it says in the app
Recentemente meu marido alugou um carro com a movida de Lisboa, e na hora da devolução o atendente implorou para aguardassemos o depósito calção ser feito até o final do dia e até agora nada se resolveu, e o atendimento ao cliente é péssimo, nenhum retorno. Segunda feira estarei aí nessa agência para resolver,pois ficar com o dinheiro alheio é crime.
Sou cliente da Movida Brasil e sempre fui bem atendido, com base nessas experiências, aluguei carro em Lisboa, só que devolvi o carro e não recebi a caução no valor de 1.500,00 Euros. Já se passaram 3 dias úteis e não consigo se quer um retorno da agência.

Surpresas desagradáveis do início ao fim. Me deram um carro com pneu rasgado. Recusei e esperei muito para outro ficar pronto. Carro velho e sem manutenção. Pediu óleo no meio da viagem. Não prestam todas as informações sobre custos, só querem empurrar seguros caros. Meses depois da locação lançaram um valor em meu cartão de crédito sem me consultar e nem me responderam do que se trataria quando questionei.,

They take the advance deposit for tolls and then if you end up not using it they dont give you the money back. I will never rent a car from them again. They wrote the response below telling me to get in touch. I sent an email and they ignored it.

Bardzo profesjonalna wypo yczalnia aut. W rodku wszystko b yszczy. Na trzech stanowiskach panowie z obs ugi dok adnie wyja niaj wszystkie opcje, pomagaj dobra auto do potrzeb. Auta bez ko a zapasowego (kompresor), dodatkowe urz dzenie na autostrade p atne 1.5eur. Za Fiata 500 na jeden dzie zap aci em 65 eur. Plus dodatkowa blokada rodków na karcie debetowej 1300eur za ew. uszkodzenia oraz 70eur za holowanie. Zwrócone minus op aty za przejazdy autostradami. Wszystko szybko i przyjemnie. Ch tnie skorzystam ponownie w przysz o ci.

Have rented from these guys a few times and always had great experiences. So far never bothered with the extra insurance as they have never quibbled over anything. Totally recommend probably the best car hire in lisbon.

Very good experience for rental cars
One of the most positive experiences I ve had renting a car in Europe. Very fast pickup, new car, didn t try to upsell me on insurance. Returning the car was also very fast and efficient. Good location in central Lisbon so you can avoid going out to the airport. Would recommend.

I regularly rent from this agency, and I have never been disappointed, on the contrary: the staff is friendly, accommodating, always available. The vehicles are in perfect condition. The contract is well explained. Returns are quick. This is a professional agency in the city center, I recommend it with my eyes closed.
Company doesn t tell important information about payment. Don t choose that company they re not professionals. If you have flight in the morning and drive in holidays doesn t open you have to pay 33 euro. This is ridiculous nobody tell us about this.
Great location, fast service and Nuno was great at handling the return. Cars are in good condition and did not have to wait too long. Wish some the little fees were already included or waived (via verde and cross country). Would rent again
Bark ko a zapasowego w samochodzie. Samochód nienatankowany. Bardzo poobijane samochody, mia am 12 uszkodze zaznaczonych, widocznych, nie-wszystkie by y odnotowane. Do tego opona musia a by uszkodzona, bo p k a nam pierwszego dnia.

Stress free car rental experience. New cars and great customer service. I had already bought excess insurance online, no hard sell for any extras, highly recommend.
I made a reservation on driveonholidays.com, received a message about successful reservation. Money was taken from my account and I received an invoice. When I arrived on the pickup day the staff member at the counter was unable to find my reservation and apparently none had been made. So I figured that it would work as in any other civilised country - they would apologise and offer me another car. Unfortunately, this is not how things work at Drive On Holidays - they kept me on location for 2,5 hours whilst trying to find a solution which in the end was to charge me an additional six hundred euros if I wanted a car for three days. So instead of upgrading me for free after all the problems, they wanted me to pay 8 times more money. This would be illegal in most countries, and possible is in Portugal too. A complete joke, utterly immoral and completely terrible service. (Only positive thing is the guy at the counter who genuinely tried to help, but the company is such a *&%#!* it did not matter).
Eine der besten Mietwagen Erfahrungen, die wir je hatten. Mauro und sein Team waren super freundlich und zuvorkommend uns wurde nichts aufgeschwätzt und wir haben ein ganz tolles Auto zu einem sehr fairen Preis bekommen.
